Tinyplot: A Wish for the Future

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Genghis Rex stands on a dock, surveying the repair work being done on the Dinosaucer Battleship "Titan." Both Dinosaucer and Tyranno technicians have been working day and night on restoring the massive sea craft, so that it can be safely moved from Freeport's bay since it's taking up an inordinate amount of room and disrupting desperately needed deliveries to the city proper.

The Tyranno king is flanked by his Lieutenant, Ankylo, and his Bodyguard, Brachio. He reviews a report handed to him by one of the head techs and nods, handing the tablet back, "So, with luck, we'll be able to get this out of port by Tuesday? Hex won't like that, but it's better than nothing. I'll notify him personally."

The young Tyranno tech salutes Rex, "As you wish, your highness," then heads down the dock doubletime.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Rebuilding. It is a wonderful concept. People undergo catastrophe, and the survivors stand up and rebuild, rising from the ashes. It is part of the cycle of life. Sometimes, these things result in the destruction of the old and new, strange things arrive.

The Reptilonians likelt find few thigns as strange, as alien, as the four streaks that rip through the air towards Freeport. Despite the weeks of peace, there is so much work to be done. And at any time, the threat of the Neo-Saiyan Empire looms overhead, the potential for utter destruction like a shadow over the Reptilonian people.

But today, Freeport is not thhe target. The four streaks burn right past radar and air interception, coming to a stop over the bay.

"Genghis Rex. King of Reptilon."

The voice is familiar. There, in the air before him, hangs Kakarot, resplendant in his golden armor. To his right, Toma hovers in red. To his left, Gaplan in blue. And behind, Zuki in green. The three lieutenants are quiet as the King of the Neo-Saiyans speaks.

"I have come to address you personally, and put an end to this conflict once and for all." He waits patiently to allow Genghis a chance to respond, apparently completely unafraid that every gun in the area is by now pointing at him.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
The barrels of the massive Gigas tanks are most certainly swingin to bear on the 4 Saiyans. Technicians aboard the Titan begin disembarking the colossal warship, but a few climb aboard the crippled vessel's still functional anti-aircraft cannons and grind them into position, taking aim at Kakarot and his entourage.

Rex lifts his head to the Saiyan King, his eyes filled with malevolence, "You come to prostrate yourself before me and are calling off your ridiculous invasion and heading off to the void where we never see you or your pathetic race ever again." Each word it thick with sarcasm.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The sarcastic words of Genghis Rex ring back in the air like a challenge to Kakarot. Zuki scowls, while Toma fidgets and Gaplan simply floats there, unmoving.

Kakarot laughs, smiling brightly. "And that's why I like you. You're not afraid to speak your mind." He points. "You might even get what you want today, King of Reptilon... but you're going to earn it. I'm challenging you to a duel. One on one, for everything. If you win, you get my life, you get restitution for all damages incurred, and my people will leave this place and never return." He gestures. "If I win, you surrender Reptilon and tell the Confederacy to leave."

There is a pause. "This is the best chance you're going to ever have to take me down, Rex. Prove yourself worthy of that throne you supposedly hold. Strike me down in full view of your people. Show me what you're made of."

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Ankylo draws his sidearm on Kakarot, "I got him dead to rights, Bossasaur. You just say the word, SNORT, and he's a statue!" Brachio smirks, running his thumb across one of the bladed edges of his Warhammer.

Rex spasms slightly, as if keeping down a cough, but then he shudders, as a laugh bursts to the surface. In a few moments he's guffawing loudly at Kakarot. He pushes Ankylo behind him and composes himself, "You really and truly are an idiot Kakarot. I suppose that can't be helped. You've likely never had anyone tell you no, before."

"You think MY death would secure Reptilon for you? It would only serve to unify Reptilon against you. But you came here for a fight, and *I* will not rest until your arrogant skull crushes between my jaws. I will hunt you to the ends of the universe to see that end!"

Rex starts forward, his eyes locked in a steely, hatefilled glare, "You have NO idea ..." He is cut off as a massive purple hand comes down and wraps around the back of his head. Rex struggles momentarily, "What? WHAT IS THE MEANING OF ... YEEEAAARRGGH!" suddenly a blast of electricity visibly trails down his body causing him to flail, then fall motionless.

"Brachio! Have you lost your mind?!" screams Ankylo, his eyes wide and unbelieving.

Brachio, shoves the unconscious Tyrannosaurus behind him and into Ankylo's waiting arms. The titan turns his palm over and plucks a joy buzzer from his palm, "I knew Quackpot was good fer somethin'"

He tosses the joybuzzer into the sea below and brings his gigantic Warhammer to bear on Kakarot, "You ain't fightin' him today. Can't have him killin' ya before I get a crack at ya! What was yer name again, CarrotTop?"

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Kakarot watches the bluster with that same disturbing patience, his face bearing that Goku-esque smile as Rex spits his defiance.

Those who pay attention note that the smile doesn't reach his eyes. He stares at Rex as the Reptilonian presumably attempts to ascend to a true nirvana of rage which would allow him to kill Kakarot with beams of hate, likely directed purely from his eyes, when he gets interrupted.

"What the hell? That's not supposed to be how it works!" Toma exclaims, looking surprised.

"Shut up, Toma." Zuki replies absently. "I suppose we should just wipe them all-"

There is a whipping noise, and they stop speaking immediately as the source of the noise is Kakarot raising a hand.

He's still smiling, his smile perhaps even growing a bit as he addresses Brachio. "My, you must really care about that raging child to need to resort to sedating him constantly just to keep him from killing himself." He shrugs, then crosses his arms. "My name is Kakarot. I am King of the Neo-Saiyans. And you would be Brachio. You made quite an impression when you arrived in my court."

Gaplan moves forward, but Kakarot glances to one side. "Toma. Zuki. Gaplan. Pull back. This is something I need to attend to... personally."

With an air of regret, the three pull back and watch from a distance. Zuki's taking to juggling small spheres of Ki abesently with one hand already, watching the Titan warily.

Meanwhile, Kakarot descends, landing before the massive dinosaur-man and looking up at him. "You won't be protecting him from his foolishness anymore after today." He says, pleasantly. "Take your best shot."

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Brachio roars, "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR NAME IS!"

Battle music: https://youtu.be/wvWija6V7r0

The massive Sauropod leaps into the air and streaks toward Kakarot must like a huge saurian Saiyan, "YOU'RE ABOUT TO GO ONE ON ONE WITH THE GREAT ONE!"

The Brachio swings his Warhammer with unrestricted force at the hovering Kakarot, intent on cracking him back into orbit, ala Superman!

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The swing of the warhammer is colossal. Brachio punches not in pounds, but in tons. The impact is similarly impressive, as the metal almost seems like it would bend for a moment fro mthe power of the hit... but Kakarot is the one who is sent flying, the impact sending him screeching through the air, where he begins to gather a red heat streak in the atmosphere from the speed, and vanishes in a twinkle.

Aerial tracking shows Kakarot proceeding away from the area... And accelerating to absurd speeds, ripping around the planet.

There is a flicker of light from the opposite horizon, a gold-crimson streak. Through it, Kakarot can be visible, coming down straight upon Brachio with a colossal, meteoric impact that leaves a massive crater in whatever he hits. Heat blasts outwards, scorching the area as Kakarot stands, feeling the painful-looking bruise and the split lip. "Good start." Kakarot says, grinning more earnestly now. "But you aren't very polite. Let's teach you some discipline." He moves in a blur, reappearing beside Brachop to deliver an axe kick towards his head, before lunging in to grapple with that elongated neck. He might not want to let Kakarot get a good grip.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Brachio holds his had up to his eyes, "And he's .... outta here .."

The sound of a missile incoming from behind him cuts his celebration short as he turns around, just in time to catch the incoming Saiyan in his chest and is sent hurdling backwards into Freeport city.

The ground shakes and already unsteady building collapse in on themselves from the force of the impact!

Far away, Roman sees his brother get speared out of the air and cratered into the ground, "Oh my god ..."

The aintigravity bubble surrounding Brachio absorbs a good bit of the impact, but he suffers severe lacerations across his back and tail. He does however, manage to cling to his hammer.

He growls as Kakarot climbs on him and reaches for his neck

That's the thing about Reptilonians. Their physiology is all wildly different and it's a wonder how many of them can even stand under their own weight. They are an odd species and their bodys don't react like a normal humanoid's might think. Brachio's long neck allows him to twist his gargantuan body around the scrambling Kakarot and slide the hilt of the hammer around Kakarot's neck, effectively choking him, while he's being choked!

Kakarot will notice that the hammer's hilt is metal, wrapped in fur ... tails to be exact ... Saiyan tails. The Saiyan King is being choked by the tails of his fallen comrades, "You worry about courtesy, I'll worry about who goes POP first!"

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Kakarot begins getting squeezed. Brachio's strength is incredible, cracking the golden Saiyan armor and beginning to put massive, spine-crushing pressure on the King himself. It's when he feels the hammer wrap around his neck that his eyes open, and he looks upon the tails.

Tails, cloven from his own people. Saiyans, killed by this loud, disrespectful dinosaur.

Even as Brachio can hear things cracking under the intense pressure, he feels the Saiyan's muscles... Bulking up? They grow, swelling as Kakarot closes his eyes, affixing the sight into his mind...

And then he embraces the rage.

BGM SHIFT: https://youtu.be/TerK-VPLvuc
5rThere is an explosion of golden light as Kakarot's hair surges gold, the air around him suddenly blistering with an outpouring of ki as a gutteral roat grows in his throat. "rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" He screams, ripping his hands upward and gripping that hammer. With colossal pressure, he pulls it from around his neck, the groan of metal filling the air as he bends the hilt, twisting it into a U shape. Then, he holds out his hands and points then down at Brachio's body itself, unleashing a blast of ki at him in point-blank range.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Roman rushes through the streets, leaping over cars and pedestrians streaming out of the besieged city. He shouts into his radio, "This is Lt Roman. There is a Saiyan attack going down in Freeport! My brother is there, moving to intercept! Send backup!"

"Hold on, bro. I'm coming!"

Brachio is disarmed, but reaches for the golden, flowing hair as he eats a point blank Ki blast, sending him tearing backwards, and up the apex of the brand new crater he and Kakarot just created. He crashes through a Skyscraper and explodes out the back of the massive building in a diagonally upwards arc.

Much like Kakarot did earlier, Brachio momentarily disappears from site.

Several moments of silence hover over the battlefield, while Ankylo struggles to get the limp Rex off the dock, while keeping his fossilizer trained on the hovering Saiyans, "SNORT, We need an Evac, now! Rex is Down, Brachio is down! We're under attack!"

"Brachio Ain't DOWN!" A haggard voice roars from the top of a Gigas Tank. It's Brachio, and he holds up a clawful of golden hair, then lets it drift away on the wind. Blood streams from his mouth and just about any unarmored part of his body. He reaches down and tears the tank's turret from its body and levels the cannon at Kakarot, "I LIKE THINGS THAT GO POW TOO, YA BIG YELLOW BITCH!"

3 energy blasts erupt from the cannon in succession, aimed directly at the Saiyan King.

Allo (724) has posed:
That was a funny thing about the inevitable. Just because you knew it was going to happen didn't mean you knew -when- it was going to happen. Just that it was going to. When it did, everything would go to the pits like like throwing cherry bombs down a toliet stall.

But that's what being watchful was for. Being ready.

The very disruptive fight did not go unnoticed, especially when they started breaking out the ki blasts and big cannons. By the time Roman is on the radio shouting for back-up there's already units of Triceracops moving in to help the workers and other innocents get out of the way of the path of destruction the two titanic forces are wrecking through the city.

The other Dinosaucers often said he was too suspicious, too untrusting. He said it was necessary. A part of his job, because he knew it wasn't a part of Allo's nature to be. So someone had to, if only to watch the back of one of the very few Reptilonians he trusted and respected.

There's also a flash of light overhead as a craft makes an extremely quick descent from orbit. It doesn't take long enough for it to come into view over the city, making the distinct design of two large horns angling out over the central cockpit plain to see, giving it a very distinct ceratopsian-like profile.

As far as Tricero was concerned, he was being paranoid. Properly paranoid. Or he wouldn't of spent so much time monitoring over Reptilon's radio frequencies, just waiting for for that inevitable moment to come.

The ship comes to hover overhead, deploying an external loudspeaker that Tricero's voice comes over a moment later, sounding even more dour and grouchy than usual. "JURRASIC CRUST ON A STICK CAN'T YOU KIDS THROW YOUR TANTRUM OTHER THAN THE CITY WE'RE TRYING TO REBUILD FOR THE UMPTEENTH TIME."

He's unsurprisingly more pissed that they're trashing Freeport again than the fact that they're fighting in the first place.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The Super Saiyan's power is intense. His manifestation of the legendary power dwarfs most others, his body crackling with incomprehensible force. The ki aura screams around him, a maelstrom of power that rolls off of him in waves. The Colonel has seen this herself, shortly before this event. She knows exactly what Freeport is in for.

Kakarot reaches up to touch the torn hair spot for a moment, grimacing. This fight is not without incident. Brachio is making his colossal power known. That he can stand this long against a Super Saiyan of this magnitude speaks volumes about how Brachio acquired those four tails. Were he not up against the King, he might have had a chance to collect more.

The screams of Tricero go unanswered, except perhaps by the blasts of the Tank Cannon as Kakarot takes the burst in the chest, his armor exploding off of him as the impacts send him spiralling through building after building.

If this was going to be a clean fight, any hope of that vanished when both Brachio and Kakarot decided to get serious. The surging dust of the fallen buildings billow outwards... And with a low groan, one of those skyscrapers begins to lift into the air, Kakarot holding the massive building over his head with a buring gaze. "It's time to take out the trash." Kakarot simply says, as he hurls the building down towards Brachio with titanic force, not caring who or what is inside.

But that's not all. Kakarot surges forward, putting his fingers to his head. "Instant Transmission!" He calls out, and vanishes.

A moment later, Brachio finds a familiar metal object hefted up and slammed around his neck, squeezing as Kakarot turns the tables, attempting to twist Brachio's hammer into a pretzel around his neck.

Serori (37) has posed:
Two Confederate teams enter Reptilon's atmosphere in the form of two dropships flanked by three smaller fighter craft. Only a few ships have been sent in the hopes of allaying Reptilon's reflexive fears; anything more than a typical extraction deployment might be mistaken for an invasion force, and enflame the existing fires into something truly out of control.

Behind them, Serori streaks across the skies like a comet, trailing a golden light behind her flying form.

Both the Confederate troops and the desperate Super Saiyan are on a direct course for Ankylo's recorded location. Serori at once outpaces the team she escorts, so she's the first to come thundering on the scene, green eyes and aura equally frenzied by a mixed bag of emotions.

But what does she do first? She doesn't throw herself into the fray. Serori corkscrews after Genghis Rex and his Tyranno allies, leaving Brachio to handle Kakarot alone until she can be sure Rex's life is secure.

It seems she's choosing to aid the Confederacy over the Neo Saiyans.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Brachio's pupils go small as a building is hurled at him. He starts to make his way down into the Tank but finds his own hammer wrapped around his neck, "AUGH!"

He kneels down, choking, his eyes bulging, as the building floats closer to him, almost in slow motion.

Roman clears some rubble in a massive leap and slides to a stop at the site in front of him. Brachio catches Roman's eye and cracks a bloody smirk.

He slaps the badge on his left breast and turns his back, and Kakarot, to the falling building.

Brachio grows, his purple flesh expanding under Kakarot's grasp, as the Siayan is thrust upwards and into the cascade of debris. Only now, he is pressing against the leathery hide of a full grown, 40 foot, 150 ton Brachiosaurus, who bones are like steel.

There is an enormous crash as the dinovolved Brachio and Kakarot are buried under an avalanche of steel, concrete and glass.

The ground tremors from the impact, taking Roman off his feet.

A massive cloud of dust envelopes everything.

Allo (724) has posed:
To the side of Tricero's cockpit one of the screens flickered to life with Allo's visage. The Dinosaucer commander's expression was as composed as ever, save for the brief flicker of concern in his eyes. Knowing this was going to come up didn't make it any easier to deal with. "Is it as bad as we thought?"

"And worse." Tricero looked out of the cockpit for a moment. "Though for once in his life Brontothunder was right, it's Brachio trying to fight Kakarot." Then turned his attention back to the comm screen, scowling even more so than usual. "Allo, I can't break up the fight to help Brachio -and-"

"Find Rex." Allo finished the statement for him. "I know. Are the Triceracops on scene?"

"Yeah. But they'll focus mainly on civilians like they're trained to. Keep losses to a minimum this time. Thankfully with just the two of them fighting the damage is -relatively- minimized."

A short but very heavy silence hung over the cockpit interior before Allo would finally reply.

"Find Rex." Then sighed. "I hate putting any life, even an enemy soldier's, to any less of a degree of importance..... but if we lose the Tyranno leadership as this stage of events, we've lost most of our hope of having a unified front against what's going to come after it."

"Understood." It was a hard decision to make, so Tricero didn't waste the time to hassle Allo over it. There really wasn't a safe place to land entirely so he just hovered down close as he could to the docks, opened the hatch, and jumped out. There was a fairly audible thud as Tricero hit the ground, his own weapon already in hand. He didn't look away from the nearby Neo-Sayains as he snarled over his shoulder at Ankylo. "Don't just stand there like a diplodorkus! Use my ship if you have to, but for Reptilon's sake, get him out of here!"

That felt really freaking weird to say, but this was one of those times when there wasn't Dinosaucers and Tyrannos. Just Reptilonians.

And then Brachio gets all prehistoric on Kakarot's ass. Literally. Even the stout ceratopsian has to crouch a bit to brace himself as tremors roll through the city.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Ankylo watched the skyscraper fall on Brachio, tears streaming down his face. Often accused of not being the smartest of his Tyranno brethren, what was happening was apparent even to him. He nods to Tricero and says in a hopeless tone, "Don't let him die ..." then drags the muttering Rex onto Tricero's ship.

Roman, blinded by the dust cloud roars into it as loud as he can, "BRACHIO! BRACHIO! SAY SOMETHING! WE'LL DIG YOU OUT! COME ON BRO, SAY SOMETHING!"

Allo (724) has posed:
Thank you, Ankylo, for being smart enough to not argue at a time like this. Tricero frowns all the same, mostly at the Tyranno's parting words. He has a bad feeling about this... But as an enforcer and former cop, it's pretty much his own job to confirm it anyways.

He's already running towards where the building fell by the time Ankylo has Rex in the ship to leave. "GET OUT OF THE WAY!" though it's mainly just Roman to yell the warning at. Tricero doesn't even break stride as he pounds a hand against his badge.

The flashing surge of energy moments later and a full sized triceratops slams into the side of the building rubble, trying to dig in with his horns far enough to pull a chunk of the building away from those trapped underneath it.

Serori (37) has posed:
The moment Ankylo calls for help for Brachio, Serori reverses direction.

Rex is safe; it's Brachio who's in trouble, now. Like a golden lightning bolt, she shoots across the city in a perfect arc aimed at the downed skyscraper. Wind shrieks past her ears and her jaw is clenched so tight that her teeth want to break, but all discomforts are nothing compared to the pounding ache in her chest. It's over. There's nothing to do now. Kakarot has to die. Kakarot has to die, and the Neo Saiyans have to be brought to heel, one way or another.

/Is/ she no better than a slave?

Does the Confederacy's cohesion matter so much that she'd put saiyan lives at stake?

She could kill Roman. She could kill Rex, and declare for the Neo Saiyans, and force the Saiyan Empire to break from the Confederacy and follow their queen to greener pastures.

Serori plunges toward the wreckage, intent on...something. Even she doesn't know what she'll do next.

"KAKAROT!"

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The massive pile of broken glass, stone, and steel does not respond immediately to Roman's plainitive beseeching.

Finally, there is a shift in the rubble, a flash of purple-pink skin... Is it Brachio?

There is a massive shuddering and upheaval as the massive form of Brachio rises from the pile of rubble...

Crushed, battered and bleeding, his hammer wrapped around his massive throat, the entire mass held in one hand by the King of the Neo-Saiyans as he floats there, his bare body torn and bloodied from the catastrophic battle. He shakes with rage as he looks out over the city of Freeport, a good amount of it broken again.

With a sudden motion, Kakarot brings the massive form up over his head, screaming as he beings the huge dinosaur over his knee. There is a colossal CRACK as Brachio's back snaps in half. Even if he somehow survived that, a blow like that..

He then drops the massive beast before him, letting it lie there for Roman to do as he wills.

He rises in the air, his aura seething as he begins to speak. His tone is level, straightforward.

"Give me Rex." He says, simply, his voice radiating through the area with Power. "Give me Rex and this will be over quickly." He looks to Serori, his eyes boring into her.

The time of judgement is here.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Broken and battered, blood pouring him, glass and steel poking out of his hide, and now having been 'broken' by Kakarot, Brachio's massive dinovolved form lies motionless on the ground, his eyes closed, his breathing shallow.

As Roman and Tricero rush to his side, his shrinks down to his normal size. He tries to lift one of his mighty hands, but can't ... "Hhhhhelp .. me ... lift it."

Roman stares down helplessly, "Dddon't move!"

Brachio lifts his hand, "Lift .. it ..."

Roman grabs his brothers hand and lifts it, the wrist twists around and the middle finger extends toward Kakarot.

"Hey, CarrotTop ... ffff ... fuck you ..."

With that, Brachio's eyes closed for the last time and his breathing stopped.

Roman fells to his knees, shaking his brother, "No, no, no, no, NO! NO! DON'T GO!"

Across the horizon, Tricero's ship quietly made it's way toward the Tyranno Citadel. Ankylo stared at the viewscreen, knowing what had happened, tears running down his face, while Rex lie curled on the floor, still unawares of the chaos that had taken place this night.

Allo (724) has posed:
When the rubble starts to shift Tricero backs up... well, his dinovolved form doesn't really back up quickly, but you get the point. Fortunately his front end is well protected and the rubble that bounces off his bony plated head does little harm. Once the brief cascade stops and the dust is settling he cancels the effect and shifts back to his normal form.

For a brief moment there is hope as Brachio is lifted out of the pile... and then it is broken just as swiftly as Brachio's back is. Once he's dropped Tricero is just as quick to his side as Roman is, even though he can already tell there's nothing they can do... Well other than Roman helping his brother give Kakarot his last regards in just the sort of way you would expect the former gladiator to.

Eyes narrow to the point that they're little more than slits, making Tricero look even more pissed off than his usual state of noir dour did. Brachio had been a long time enemy... but he was still a fello Reptilonian. One that, for whatever concieted personal intentions he may of had, tried to fight for their planet. Their home. For as much as they're respective sides faught over who it belonged to.

"That is it..." With a snarl he grabs the remaining pile of rubble and starts to climb up it. "I don't care what sort of stupid duel aggrement you had, I'm going to arrest your spiny haired ass for that and kick it off the planet myself, truces be damned!"

Alas, he's not really very good at climbing, but the intention is there.

Serori (37) has posed:
Serori's head snaps up, her emerald eyes tracking Kakarot's ascent. The power he radiates sparks along her shivering nerves, and his wrath crashes over her senses, a dramatic, skull-splitting thunder causing her essence to quake to its very core.

He's magnificent, in a way. Terrible, but awe-inspiring, and bearing a presence anyone would find hard to miss, she understands why he is both a legendary hero, and a legendary /King/.

Serori watches as Brachio is broken. She watches as the sauropod is cast aside like a toy flung from some temperamental child's hand.

Now it is the ground which trembles rather than Serori's heart.

The twin emeralds in her eyes ignite with a fury to challenge Kakarot's. As if the sun shines through her, Serori's aura expands and brightens, producing an audible and impactful shockwave sufficient to scour away all the tons of debris in a clear thirty-foot radius. Huge chunks of rubble, twisted steel, and billowing dustclouds fire off with tempest-like force in all directions, leaving Serori standing in the center of a pristine plane.

The perimeter's heaped remains begin to lift in defiance of gravity. Anything smaller than a fist-sized object starts to levitate upward. Serori's powerful outpouring begins to warp the skies, too, so that the storm she suffers internally is soon brought into very real existence.

Tricero had better take shelter.

"HOW DARE YOU?!" Serori spits into the air, all her vehemence aimed like spears at Kakarot. "WHAT KIND OF INSOLENT MORON THINKS HE CAN KILL A CONFEDERATE AND SURVIVE TO TELL THE TALE?!"

The Queen of the Saiyans continues to lash at Kakarot with her words. Imperious indignance pummels him, her ego charged and weaponized by her reckless anger. "YOUR ACTIONS WILL DOOM /OUR PEOPLE/, KAKAROT! REMEMBER THAT! YOU'VE BROUGHT THIS ON YOURSELF! You selfish /King/ -- you stupid, careless fool!"

Eyes almost squeezing shut against the rage and anguish and loathing, Serori lets out the last of her damnation in a wordless scream, an echoing shout that goes on and on and on, her power rising, her voice and energy cracking apart the ground beneath her feet --

It coalesces and manifests into a single cannon-like beam fired from her cupped hands. Miles long and massive in circumference, the burst streaks toward Kakarot, intent on devouring him inside its superheated core. The light is so intense and blinding as to render Serori all but invisible in its wash.

Where are his lieutenants, anyway?

Tricero should /really/ back up a bit.

Allo (724) has posed:
Though even as he's making a snarky remark on the radio Tricero is grabbing Roman and if need be DRAGGING the larger sauropod away from the epicenter of this new eruption of tempers.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Tricero finds it incredibly difficult to pull ROman away from his fallen bother's body, but after a small struggle he manages to do so, but not before Roman grasps 'something' from Brachio ... but whatever it is, it's too small for Tricero to make out in all the chaos and dust and blinding lights and screaming.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Brachio is defiant to the last. Kakarot gives him, perhaps, one last honor and allows him to die intact. He is going to.... wherever dead lizard people go. There is no need to defile him like he has the Saiyan people he has killed.

Tricero calls Kakarot out. He simply turns, looking down towards the spitting dinosaur. He is quiet for a moment, considering his words, and smiles. "You are welcome to try any time." He says, spreading his hands invitingly.

It's at this point that Serori calls out her challenge. Kakarot looks upon the waves of power, the aura of challenge, the rising power levels with intense interest. What will her choice be?

It is when she screams, the Scouter explodes off of the side of Kakarot's face with a crackle of lightning. He doesn't even wince, the pain and blood just another note i nthe symphony that rages through his mind, the rage that cuts like a blade, the joy that cleanses the world.

She does, however, ask a relevant question.

Where IS his lieutenants? The three sudden surges of Super Saiyan power answer that. There is a blur as Toma whips past with a high speed clothesline, a rain of ki beams raining down a moment later. As Serori is harried, she sees the blast take Kakarot clear in his chest. He doesn't move to avoid it, the impact crushing into him and driving him backwards far into the bay.

He continues floating there, am assive, terrible gash laid open across his chest. He looks down, a hand over it as he feels the blood pulsing there from his Saiyan heart, the red dripping down int othe bay of Freeport. He holds up a crimson hand towards Serori.

"This is the proof of your slavery. You are no more a Queen than Vegeta is a King. You have chosen these /aliens/ over the needs of your own people. I will not have killed them, however. Your greed to dominate them will lead you to destroy them with your own hands. You simply wanted a monster to slay. You wanted an excuse to make war upon me and take what you want. You should be thanking me, because I have given it to you. I will only die once. You... You will watch what happens to our people and die a little more every time you see it. Because you know in you your heart that you chose these lizards over your own people. But I am a Saiyan..."

And his voice resonates across the air, rippling through Reptilon with deadly intent. "And soon you, and all the people of this planet will understand what a monster truly is."

Kakarot's lieutenants turn and fly away, Kakarot himself ascending into the sky, leaving Freeport in the terrible aftermath of the battle.

Allo (724) has posed:
Being reassuring.... is a long, LONG way from the set of skills Tricero has. He does give Roman's shoulder a brief grasp of sympathy, from one officer to another, but that's about it. He at least doesn't pry into whatever it was he claimed from Brachio's body.

With that he turns and starts to walk away. The actual Triceracops will be here soon enough for their comrade, it was no place for the ex-officer now. Instead he keys on his personal comm. "Allo?"

"Yes, Tricero?" Even Allo's usual collected tone carried a hint of forebearance. He already knew what was going to come.

So as he walks away Tricero didn't bother making a big deal out of it, instead just growling a simple. "Inevitable happened."

Serori (37) has posed:
Serori rallies to repel her attackers. Though the three lieutenants aren't doing much more than providing a distraction, she rages at them, too, trading blows and shouted curses even as Kakarot lets loose with /his/ condemnations.

The words hurt. He digs his fingers into her pride, tears at it, and lays open her few doubts. His escape leaves Serori still standing at the center of a storm, but now it's directed at herself as much as at Kakarot.

She has no way of proving him wrong.

Every saiyan life about to be lost is her own doing as much as his.

So, what does she do now?

Serori drops from Super Saiyan a moment later, breathless, her mind reeling with thoughts moving too fast to be clear. When the silence is forced to return after a deep breath and a frustrated growl, no answers emerge from it.

Yet. No answers are there /yet/.

She kicks off the ground, and rockets away, leaving the Reptilonians to see to their own. The Confederate team remains behind until it's clear their ordered assistance isn't needed.
