Tomoyo's Boutique Sale Steals
Date of Scene: 04 May 2015
Location: Tomoeda-865
Synopsis: The madcap fashion sale continues!
Cast of Characters: Kotone Yamakawa, 73, 373, Tomoyo Daidouji, Shigure, 707, 737

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Spring rains have come to Tomoeda, a drizzle that comes down straight with no winds to make it lash about. However, this isn't deterring a lot of people from going about their business, equipped with umbrellas and hooded raincoats.

The rain has absolutely not stopped the influx of business Tomoyo's Boutique has gotten either. Neither rain nor hail nor sleet will stop people from getting good bargains on high fashion. The door into the boutique is firmly shut, with an extra sign on the inside asking customers to wipe their feet before entering.

Lloyd Irving (373) has posed:
As Lloyd makes his way to Tomoeda, he is clearly not dressed for rain. Black t-shirt, black pants and matching boots. However, he doesn't rush around, like someone in the rain might normally do. He walks normally, growing steadily more soaked. By the time he reaches Tomoyo's shop, he is pretty thoroughly wet. However, as he wipes his feet outside the door, there's a quick pulse of fire around him. When he enters the shop proper, he's as dry as a bone.

He smirks. "Glad that actually worked!" he says, stretching a bit. He looks around the store a bit, smiling. "Nice place you have here," he says.

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
The sudden flash of fire at her front door causes Tomoyo to flinch, and look up from her work! Even on a rainy day, fire can spread quickly. But, it's just a customer, so she calms down as Lloyd enters the store. She puts her sewing under the counter and beams.

"Hello there~! It's... Lloyd, isn't it?" Well, a singer should be able to at least recognize the voices of others. "Welcome to Tomoyo's Boutique, how can I help you?"

Lloyd Irving (373) has posed:
Lloyd pats his shirt to make sure there is no excess fire, then smiles a bit more. "Yep! I'm Lloyd Irving. Nice to finally meet you, Miss Daidouji," he says, inclining his head a bit. He gestures to himself, and his rather plain attire, then turns his attention back to her.

"Well... my normal clothing has finally seen its last. I was hoping to get something a little more... stylish? I guess that's the word. I have several suits and a tuxedo, but I was thinking maybe a professional could get me something a little less traditional."

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa has heard of this place and the skill of Miss Daidouji. She was very eager to get something from her. Given how often she was getting impaled these days. Slashed, set on fire, punched into hillsides. She was look pretty good evne with what she was wering now as she goes to find if Tomoyo is free to talk about an order. Though for Tomoyo there may be something a bit 'off' about the blue haired lady who just walked in.

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
From underneath the counter, Tomoyo extracts a sketchbook, and has to flip it aaaaall the way to the back to find a fresh page. "Ah, Tomoyo is fine~" From one of the aprons on her dress, she pulls out a pencil and touches it to paper.

"So! You mentioned that you lost a coat. Did you want a new one, or a totally different ensemble? I'm happy to do either!" But suddenly, another customer, one that feels strange, even to a total mundane like Tomoyo. She peeks around Lloyd and gives Kotone a polite smile. "I'll be with you soon ma'am~"

Frederica (73) has posed:
While Frederica could use her fire to keep the rain off her, it's the sort of thing that'd give her a headache. Besides, a twelve-foot-high fire elemental tramping down the streets of Tomoeda would probably draw a lot of attention and possibly ire. Best to just deal with the rain in a mundane way... and of course, Frederica likes wearing hoods.

When she pushes her way inside the shop, she pauses just inside the threshold. It's a dramatic pause, probably intended to be a lot more subtle than it actually is. After a moment that's probably just a bit too long to be truly effective, the blonde pushes her hood off and back, shedding a small bit of water. She shakes out her head, flipping her hair tails forward over each shoulder in an attention-grabbing manner.

"Good afternoon, Tomoyo~" Frederica calls out, grinning. She falters as she comes to recognize one of the customers. "O-oh. Mr. Irving!" she says, startled. "What are you doing here?" she asks. As if it weren't perfectly obvious.

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Ah, another customer so soon? Tomoyo looks up and spied Frederica, a happy smile gracing her face. "Hello Frederica~! Getting an outfit for free wasn't enough for you, hmm?" The look on her face is... well, not /smug/. Tomoyo is far too polite and professional to be smug. More like pride that is getting pretty close to smug.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
It's more the little give aways of her nature that often do it to people. Lack of normal flaws that might be found in a persons form or the eyes. She seems pretty friendly however and nods to Tomoyo.

"No problem there I can wait." 5R
She pauses as Shje notices Lloyd and Frederica and she grins at both of them.

"Hey!"

Xiaomu (707) has posed:
While rain can be irritating, it also has its useful side benefits, such as a ready-made excuse to stop and duck into one store or another. Admittedly, Xiaomu DOES have an umbrella, but ... excuses, you know?

And by the time the sage fox makes her way in the door at Tomoyo's Boutique, some of those side stops have clearly born fruit: Tomoyo would likely recognize the designs printed on bags of a couple of bookstores and at least one game store, despite Xiaomu cradling those same bags to her chest as if they were the most precious of treasures ever dug out of the earth's forbidding depths.

Of course, to her, they might very well be, particularly given the utterly blissful smile on her face. But she's aware enough of what she's doing to fold her umbrella and stick it in the rack by the door before she starts looking around ...

Lloyd Irving (373) has posed:
Lloyd smiles. "I'd like to go ahead and get the works," he says, "Completely new ensemble." As others start to trickle in, his attention is drawn over to Frederica. "Hey there!" he says, smiling widely at her. "Same as you, I would guess. Getting some new clothes from our resident tailor extraordinaire." He turns back to Tomoyo, smiling even wider. "I'll leave myself in your hands here. You're the expert!"

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa expression brightens as she sees Ziaomu she looks the foxy lady over for a moment and calls out to het.

"Hey XIaomu good to see you, you had any time to think about that cosplay group we talked abotu a little while ago?"

Frederica (73) has posed:
Frederica turns her somewhat-wobbly smile on Tomoyo. "I promise I'll pay this time if you promise not to try to set me on fire." she says, that smile solidifying somewhat.

She seems intrigued by Lloyd's intent. Boys so rarely worry about fashion after all. "I'd be ... interested to see what you intend here." she notes, grinning slightly. "And the rest of..." she pauses, catching sight of a fox-girl. This has the very obvious effect of making her lose her train of thought. Oops.

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Oh goodness, a whole lot of customers, new and old, at once! Tomoyo waves to Xiaomu as she enters. "Welcome to Tomoyo's Boutique ma'am~ I'll be with you in a moment!" She smiles at Frederica again, before giving Lloyd all her attention.

"Okay! Totally new look, I can do that~" She quickly sketches a figure of Lloyd onto the paper, tapping the pencil against her chin. "You're a blacksmith right? Because I just got an amazing idea..." She begins to draw with fervour! Sketching out a suit of dark green (according to an annotation) outfit onto the figure. It consists of a long-sleeved buttoned top , folded back at the wrists (to reveal the white underside) with fingerless gloves (a hole cut into the left one for that odd emblem), a white belt across the waist and long pants. On the feet, she draws some black leather boots. On top of that, she adds a brown leather apron, like a classical blacksmith would wear. However, starting at the hips, it has a triangular slit, all the way down to the hem so as to not impede movement. It also has several pockets and loops for equipment. The final touch is a cape, bright red with a white emblem of a hammer striking an anvil on the back. The anvil also bears a replica of the symbol on Lloyd's hand. Tomoyo's quite good to have memorized it so quickly.

"I think you would cut quite the dashing figure in this~ Like a knightly blacksmith! What do you think?" she asks as she turns the book so Lloyd can examine it properly.

Xiaomu (707) has posed:
Xiaomu waves back to Kotone and Tomoyo, although the wave turns into a bit of a salute when her attention reaches Lloyd - he *is* a high-ranking officer, if she's rrecognizing him right.

Frederica, on the other hand, gets a *big* smile from the sage fox. "Sorry, did I distract you? I can show you the stores I was at before I got here if you'd like," she offers, holding up the bags she was clutching - at least partly to keep them safe from the rain.

On the other hand, Tomoyo talking to Lloyd about a 'knightly blacksmith' catches Xiaomu's attention as well ... and since Tomoyo's busy with a customer, Xiaomu makes her way towards Kotone. "Haven't had much, really," she admits. "Although one of the manga I picked up looked promising for cosplay material ..."

Lloyd Irving (373) has posed:
Lloyd nods. "Blacksmith and swordsman, yes," he says, then tilts his head as she starts sketching. He tries to keep up with her, but just stands back after a moment, letting her work. He turns his attention back to Frederica, smiling a bit. "I'm going for something a little out of my normal zone," he says, "And I figure trusting that task to one as skilled as Tomoyo is a good idea. I'm sure it'll be something spectacular."

As Tomoyo flips the book over so he can look at it, his breath catches for a moment. "That's... wow, that's pretty intense." He stares at it for a moment or two, then nods. "This will be perfect." Having the scar of Annu so visible worried him slightly, but it was only fitting that it be integrated. It was a part of him. "Let's go with it."

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Tomoyo smiles as Lloyd gives his approval! "Good! Now, uh... my male employee is out to lunch at the moment. Do you mind waiting until he gets back so I can have him measure you?"

After Lloyd's answer, Tomoyo glances at Kotone and waves her over. "Hello ma'am, thanks for waiting~ How can I help you?

Lloyd Irving (373) has posed:
Lloyd nods, then moves away from center stage. "That's fine. Thank you!"

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa says "That's one fun thing about the multiverse Xiaomu don't like how a manga or a show went? Find an alternate world's version that went differently."

Kotone is not in either faction while she's polite to Lloyd it be silly if she saluted him right? She look to Tomoyo for a moment grinning.

"No problem and I'm looking for something that would be suitable for running about adventuring but also doing mechanic work. Also it's going to need to be able to handle more than normal human strength...in terms of how much wear and tear it can take."

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Tomoyo listens close to Kotone's request, rubbing her chin. All purpose adventure gear, but also good for mechanic work? The mention of the latter gets her mind running, considering what mechanics typically wear. She immediately throws out the idea of a jumpsuit, unsure if she can pull it off. But, maybe overalls...

Turning to a fresh page, she starts drawing Kotone's figure and gets to work! A white t-shirt first with the image of a harp on the back, and over that, a set of midnight blue overalls with shiny brass clasps and buttons. The legs are not full pants, ending just above the knee instead. Also, the whole thing looks to be rather clingy, clearly designed to flatter the female form. On the legs is a set of black stockings, with brown leather boots. The final touch is a pair of goggles hung around the neck on a white strap.

"The shirt being white is my way of guaranteeing that any oil or grease will wash right out of these clothes~! They'll also have a weave of spider silk in them, so they should stay strong, even protecting against weak attacks," Tomoyo says as she lets Kotone get a good look.

Xiaomu (707) has posed:
While Xiaomu is curious as to what Kotone's inquiring about, she contents herself with a brief look at teh design sketch. She's mostly going through one of her shopping bags at the moment, digging out the manga she mentioned.

Her ears are noticeably perked up, though.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa humms is going to looks out. She's looking over the deisng it's a biot more flashy than it could work but humm she does seem to look the look oe ri over all it takes a bit to sink in. It nice it's not overly showy, she's got other outfits for that so she's seeming to be fairly happy with the look of it.

"I'll need a moment ot think though, don't want to rush in right? Once you get working it's too late to ask for changes."

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
"Oh, of course~ Take your time," Tomoyo says to Kotone with a kind smile. "But if you don't mind, I have more customers to help, I'll be serving one while you think~"

Tomoyo looks to Xiaomu now, and waves her over! "Hello ma'am~ Been on a shopping spree I see! How can I help you?

Xiaomu (707) has posed:
Didn't even give her time to peel off the shrinkwrap ... but Xiaomu doesn't let herself look disappointed, slipping the volume back into her bag and heading over to the counter where Tomoyo holds court with her customers. "I think I mentioned wanting to see what you could come up with for cosplay?" she asks casually. "I'm thinking 'basic fantasy RPG' setting - probably a cleric or mage in my case, and I'll be looking for other possible party members. Just me for now, though ... Kotone's already got one order in the works."

She pauses, looking over at Kotone. "Or was your request one with cosplay in mind?"

Lloyd Irving (373) has posed:
Lloyd perks up from his perch against the wall. "Cosplay? What is that?"

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Tomoyo actually gasps with delight! "Oh wow, an actual cosplay request~! Don't get me wrong, I love making all kinds of outfits, but cosplay... well, I have a lot of experience with it~" She looks over at Lloyd and begins to explain. "Short for 'costume play.' It's all about dressing up in fun ways! Sometimes as fictional characters, sometimes as an archetype~"

She immediately gets to work, and it becomes clear that this is something she is much better at. She draws a lot faster and doesn't pause once, the ideas just flowing from mind to paper instantly. She sketches Xiaomu, then an outfit. Starting with a black witch's hat, the pointed tip bending back with an ornament depicting a scarecrow hung by a noose hanging from it. The front bears several strategic tears and creases to make it look like the hat has a smirking face with sharp teeth. Next, the dress is a simple black one, sleeveless with straps that look like they were made from ivy and a frayed hem that comes to mid thigh. Matching opera gloves that come up near her shoulders are added, held on with brown belts, the same with the thigh-high stockings on the legs. As for shoes, she adds a pair of dark purple boots with toes that curl up into a spiral A choker is drawn around the neck, with a jack o' lantern brooch on the front.

"There we go~! A witch design. What do you think~?"

Xiaomu (707) has posed:
"Hmmmmmmmmmm ...."

Xiaomu rests an elbow on the counter, considering Tomoyo's design sketch. On the one hand ... well, the look on her face gives away that this isn't really what Xiaomu had in mind, and that might be enough for Tomoyo's heart to sink a bit.

But she's not saying 'no' just yet, either. The sage fox, for all her flighty and casual air most of the time, continues looking the design over despite what seems like initial disapproval. She's taking in all the details the sketch has to offer, considering a combination of how practical it'll be to make and how practical it'll be to wear ...

"Might save that for Halloween or something," the sage fox finally says, giving Tomoyo an apologetic grin. "I was thinking more, well ..." She rummages in a different bag, pulling out an RPG from the GBA era. It's a pretty straight-up fantasy RPG to judge by the cover art - think Dragon Quest, or maybe Golden Sun: something in that branch of the genre. Or it could pass for something from Fire Emblem; in any case, relatively straight-up fantasy.

Xiaomu taps the part of the drawing which shows a sorceress casting a spell in support of the knight. "A little like this. Not cosplaying *this* character, but - you know, somebody who'd look like part of the heroes to start with, not somebody who has to get her butt kicked in a boss fight before you can add her to your party."

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa says "Humm I enjoy cosplay myself if you want to do a group but Xiaomu I'd love to get in on it just let me know what I'd have to be playing as though with fanntasy some sort of thief I'll go for the outfit Tomoyo but can I order some other articles of clothing I have an idea for an alternate based off that using a sparitl swimsuit like body suit and shorts."

She seems very chipper, she seems thrilled she came here.

"Mine was for romping about the multiverse to be honest Xiaomu."

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Tomoyo does catch Xiaomu's expression, but she doesn't look disheartened at all! In fact, she just pays closer attention, looking from the foxgir's face to the sketch, trying to find exactly what disappointed her. As Xiaomu explains, showing her an example, Tomoyo's expression shifts to one of understanding. "Ah, now I see~ Sorry, I don't actually play a lot of video games. Let me try again!"

She starts a fresh sketch! This time, she starts with a robe with long loose sleeves, designating it as being the orange of autumn leaves, with a brown leather belt around the waist. The hems feature white embroidery depicting stylized symbols. The slit down the front of the legs reveals a pair of puffy loose white pants, secured with black cord around the ankles. Next, she adds a short cloak that wraps around the shoulders and chest, designating it blue, with some more white runic embroidery. Boots are plain brown leather. The final touch is a silver diadem, designed to fit around Xiaomu's ears, embedded with gems of various colors.

"Does this seem better~?" Tomoyo asks as she flips the book again.

Xiaomu (707) has posed:
Xiaomu nods slowly, "Yeah, that ought to work. Gonna have to find a good shade of blue not to clash with the orange, but you've probably got a better sense of how to make the colors complement instead of clash than I do," she grins.

"So how much for a down payment on that? I'm a little lighter on cash than I thought I'd be ..."

Lloyd Irving (373) has posed:
Lloyd smirks, waving his hand. "All the orders being placed right now are on me," he says.

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Tomoyo raises her palm and shakes her head. "No down payment necessary~ You pay when it's done and you're satisfied with it!" She takes the sketchbook back, just as the door opens and Yamazaki returns!

"Perfect timing~ Ladies, line up for measurement! Yamazaki, take care of that gentleman over there please." She pauses and stares at Lloyd. "Oh, how generous~"

Lloyd Irving (373) has posed:
Lloyd pushes back from the wall, smiling a bit. "A couple of your customers are my allies, as are you. It's only logical," he says. He inclines his head toward Yamazaki, smirking. "Nice to meet you. Just let me know what I need to do."

Shigure has posed:
The Fifth Fleet are arriving through the streets of Tomoeda again. The group of four very different females looking a bit out of place, but then again, they're heading for Tomoyo's boutique, the fashions from there /can/ be eccentric, just like the owner.

Kuma opens the door, or steps inside if it is already open, and announces her presence in the usual way. "Kuma~. The Fifth Fleet has arrived, kuma~."

One big difference that Tomoyo might make note of, is Shigure. She looks different, and a little taller/older looking. Arranged hair, feathered to look like the ears of a hound, with that hair ornament prominently displayed above her left eye. She seems more confident too.

Vivio Takamachi (737) has posed:
"Hmmmm hmm hmmmm hmmmmmm~ Hmmm hmmmmmm hmm hmmmm~"

Vivio humms happily to herself and she walks excitedly down the sidewalk, clutching the straps of her backpack. She turns into the store, jumping to a stop as she looks around, "This is the right address, isn't it?" The little plush bunny floating in the air beside Vivio nods, before pointing in the direction of one of the girls ahead.

Vivio recognises Kuma and calls out, "Oh! Hello, Kuma!"

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Tomoyo looks up! The last influx of customers had all left, and she's already getting more! The Fifth Fleet she greets with a right-handed salute, a replication of how the Japanese Navy did, before smiling and giggling. "Hello Fifth Fleet~ Come for your outfits?" And, of course, Shigure's new look doesn't go unnoticied. "Shigure! You look wonderful!"

And now, Vivio arrives too! The first time that Tomoyo has had a customer younger than herself. Although, she doesn't treat the young lady any different, simply smiling and bowing her head. "Hello... it's Vivio, isn't it? I recognized your voice from the radio. I'll be right with you~"

Behind her counter is a set of stairs, which she calls up. "Yamazaki! Please bring down the Fifth Fleet's orders?" She then looks at the shipgirls and smiles. "Dressing rooms are over there~" she says, indicating the corner across from her counter, where three booths stand with thick purple curtains. They do seem big enough to accommodate two, which is good considering the four shipgirls.

Soon, Yamazaki comes down the stairs with four sets of plastic bags on coat hangers. Each one has one of the Fifth Fleet's names on them, and he hands them out based on that. Meanwhile, Tomoyo turns her attention to Vivio. "Welcome to Tomoyo's Boutique~ How can I help you?"

Shigure has posed:
Kuma turns at Vivio's voice, and a big old grin spreads across her face, before she lopes over and scoops up the girl in a big old not!bear hug. "Hi, Vivio, kuma~. Fancy seeing you here, kuma!"

Shigure blushes a little, then bows with a mumbled 'Thank You'. While Nowaki remains as severe looking as always. Chitose steps over to gather the outfits when they're brought down, before indicating to the fleet to head to the dressing rooms.

Nowaki and Shigure take one, while Chitose and Kuma take another, leaving one spare. They might be a while, is why. Kuma sets Vivio down, and heads off to the dressing room.

Vivio Takamachi (737) has posed:
Vivio eeps in surprise as she's suddenly pulled up in a hug. But she then giggles and hugs Kuma back, "Yeah, what a coincidence!" She then lets go again as Kuma goes off with her fleet to try on clothes.

Vivio then turns to Tomoyo and gives her a wave, "Hi, Tomoyo! You have a really nice store here." Chris floats down into view and waves to Tomoyo. Vivio grins, "Oh, yes. This is my Device, Chris!" Chris floats up to Tomoyo and holds out an arm as if to shake.

Introductions complete, Vivio considers her request for a moment before saying, "Wellllll... I was thinking... I have my Barrier Jacket to wear while I'm fighting in my adult form, but I don't really have anything for when I'm just normal! So I was thinking maybe you could help design something for me~"

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Within the changing rooms, the Fifth Fleet finds their outfits have made the leap from paper to reality perfectly! Kuma pulls out the promised white halter-top with pink straps and a cute teddy bear face, the pleated skirt with pink and white tartan pattern, the white stockings with pink claw marks and the white belt with the bear paw clasp. The pink and white mary janes sit at the very bottom. However, something extra has been done to the top. It's now reversible; with the opposite side being pink with white straps, and a far more realistic and fierce-looking bear in white on it!

Chistose pulls out her aviator jacket, thick and warm, forest green with white fur around the collar. A black circular patch has been sewn on the back with the Roman numeral 'M' above the characters for 'Chitose' written horizontally in gold. There is also a plain white t-shirt inside, designed to fit rather snugly, along with some skinny denim jeans and brown combat boots! Inside a glasses case is a pair of black aviator glasses, to complete the flygirl look.

Nowaki finds her royal purple sundress, made from thin and breathable materials, with the golden typhoon symbol over the left breast. Also including is her purple sandals with gold clasps and long purple straps, designed to criss-cross up to just below her knees. Finally is her golden strap hat, with the purple ribbon tied around the crown into a big bow!

Lastly is Shigure's! Her heavy blue coat with the symbols of Japan and a mountain castle, the namesakes for Fusou and Yamashiro on the back, in gold embroidery. There is also a thick orange ribbed sweater, with concealed zips on the sleeves around the shoulders to detach them. A black ankle-length skirt also has a hidden zipper around knee-length. Lastly is a pair of sneakers, also in blue and gold.

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Meanwhile, out by the counter, Tomoyo smiles at Chris and bows in greeting to him. "Nice to meet you Chris~" She then looks down at Vivio, and blinks in surprise at her mention of an 'adult form.' "Oh, you can get older on command? Wow, that's really cool~" she says enthusiastically.

"I can certainly do that! But, could you show me how you look as an adult? I'll need to tailor the outfit to that form, so I need to know what you look like."

Shigure has posed:
Within the changing rooms, there's an excited commotion coming from the one Chitose and Kuma went into... it's mostly Kuma being Kuma though. "Saaah, I forgot how /pink/ this was, kuma... hmm? OH! That's so cool, kuma! Chitose! Lookit lookit!"

Shigure is the first out, sporting the coat and tugging at it a little bit. "U-Um... I think this might need some... um, adjusting." She /is/ a little taller, and a little more 'filled out' than when the original measurements were taken.

Nowaki flows out behind Shigure, moving like a graceful wind as the light fabric of her dress flows around her. "It fits perfectly. Thank you." she offers, bowing to Tomoyo.

Vivio Takamachi (737) has posed:
Vivio nods a little as she listens to Tomoyo. Makes sense! She reaches up to grab Chris, plucking the poor Device from the air rather quickly. Chris's eyes buldge a little as Vivio squeezes him, but then settles into a -.- look as Vivio holds him.

Vivio is about to transform... When the shipgirls begin to come out of the dressing rooms. Vivio approves of Shigure's coat, but it's Nowaki's dress which really gets Vivio's attention with a "Wooooooow, that's pretty!"

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Tomoyo watches as the shipgirls emerge from the dressing rooms, clearly proud of her designs. "Did you like my little surprise Kuma~? I felt a little bad about all the teddy-bear stuff you didn't seem to like, so I included an alternative!" Looking over at Shigure and her complaints, she gasps! "Oh no! You had a growth spurt along with her new hairdo?" She rushes over and walks around her, checking the clothes. "Hmm... I could let down the hems, which would help."

When Nowaki thanks her, she smiles and bows back to her. "You're welcome~ Could I have a photo of you four? I'm making a board of satisfied customers, you see~" She takes a digital camera from behind the counter, and looks to Vivio. "I know my designs are amazing, but I do still need you to transform~" she says with a giggle.

Vivio Takamachi (737) has posed:
Vivio blinks as Tomoyo reminds her to transform, looking a little sheepish. She quickly nods to Tomoyo and holds her Device up, "Sacred Heart. Set up!"

Iridescent light engulfs Vivio, briefly shrouding her from view. The silhouette of Vivio within the light begins to grow, both taller and filling out in form. Finally the light vanishes with a soft gust of wind and an older looking Vivio now stands in the store, complete with Barrier Jacket.

Now essentially eye to eye with Tomoyo, Vivio stretches a little for a moment before looking at Tomoyo. In a voice that still sounds very much like Vivio, but older, she says, "My Barrier Jacket is great for fighting! But it's a little bit too flashy for some stuff."

Shigure has posed:
Shigure blushes. "It... it's a little tight around the chest too." she admits, cheeks bright red. Nowaki offers a nod to Vivio. "I like the design. I am sure Maikaze will as well."

Kuma comes out next, wearing the top in its alternative way, the fierce bear showing outwardly. She flexes, and grins.

Chitose follows last, adjusting her aviator specs and stuffing her hands into the pockets, trying to put on a 'bad girl' look, though the smile she's wearing too doesn't help with /that/.

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Tomoyo averts her eyes as Vivio transforms in a cocoon of light. When she looks back... well. She's not sure how to feel about suddenly being bested in the curves department by someone who was just five years her junior. Although, she maintains a pleasant expression and nods. "Okay! I'm getting some ideas. You look really nice like this, by the way~"

Looking back at Shigure, she can't help but smile a little at her obvious embarrassment. "Well! I'll have to make a bigger shirt and send it to you as soon as possible. No extra charge, of course." As Kuma emerges, she giggles and fakes a terrified swoon. "Kuma looks so fierce~!" And Chitose gets a thumbs up! "It suits you really well, if I do say so myself~"

From under the counter, she extracts a sketchbook and flips to the back to a blank page, quickly sketching Vivio's figure. On it, she begins to sketch an outfit! Starting with a t-shirt that leaves her shoulders exposed white with a section of a light blue circular star chart on the lower left of it. On the wrists, she draws some detached wrist cuffs, blue with white star buttons. On the lower half, she draws a pair of faded blue denim hot pants with white thigh-highs, blue ribbons woven into the hem that could be fastened to hold them up. As for shoes, she draws some white boots with a small blue wedge heel.

When she's done, she shows Vivio the design. "Blue and white suit you really well, I didn't want to break away from that~ But if you want something different, I understand! "

Vivio Takamachi (737) has posed:
Vivio gives Kuma and Chitose a thumbs up and a grin as they exit with their new outfits. She then watches curiously as Tomoyo begins to sketch. She feels a bit silly standing in the store in her Barrier Jacket though... "Chris, let's go casual!" Vivio's Barrier Jacket glows with light, before shattering into numerous sparkles and leaving behind just a simple sweater and pants ensemble.

vio looks down at herself and hehs, "Clothes I borrowed from my mama... A reason why I need my own!" She then steps over and looks at the sketch. She blinks a little as she considers, then ehehes, "Looks a bit... Loud!" Vivio hmms, "I'm only supposed to use my adult form for training and fighting. But I think I need something to use before... Or after... Fights for the Union! Soooooo, I was thinking maybe something more official looking!"

Vivio then adds onto the end, "I like the blue and white though! It's kind of like my mama!"

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Tomoyo listens as Vivio explains, nodding along with her. "Ah, I understand~ Tell you what, I'll throw in this one for free! You can't be borrowing your mom's clothes all the time, and everyone needs some casual clothes~" She starts a new sketch and taps her pencil against her chin, considering a more official-looking ensemble.

Finally, she seems to settle on something! Touching pencil to paper once more, she gets to work. Drawing a plain white button-up blouse underneath a formal-looking suit coat, midnight blue with no ornamentation. Around the starched collar of the blouse, she draws a tie, with notes explaining how the end will be a sky blue, with the color shifting to a midnight blue up along the tie, with little white star-like dots show up more and more. Over the legs, she draws a knee-length business skirt, the same color as the coat, along with some black stockings and sensible black business shoes with a low heel.

"I heard you worked for a Bureau, so I thought a business suit would be fitting~" Tomoyo explain as she shows Vivio the sketch.

Vivio Takamachi (737) has posed:
Vivio looks both surprised and grateful at the offer of the original outfit... She can think of a few situations where she might get to wear it, but probably not all that often because of her promise.

Vivio waits patiently as the next sketch comes along, then she looks at it. She ooohhs quietly, "I would look a bit like Fate-mama with that!" But she then looks sheepish at Tomoyo, because the poor designer probably went a bit too far in the other direction this time, "Oh, I don't work for the Bureau... I'm just a civilian mage! And even in Adult form, Vivio is still young at heart!"

Vivio rolls her head left and right a few times as she thinks, then asks, "Is there maybe something in the middle of those first two?"

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Oohhh, a tough customer! Most people are happy with whatever Tomoyo offers first, maybe requesting a small change. No one has ever turned down two outfits in a row! Rather than be dejected, Tomoyo seems to have a fire in her violet eyes as she squeezes down on her pencil. "Not too casual but not too formal? Gotcha~"

Another figure, and another outfit! She starts this one with a short-sleeved knee-length white dress with a high neckline and blue frills along all the hems. On top of that, she draws an unbuttoned jacket clearly inspired by military dress uniforms. Sea blue, with two rows of white stripes along the high collar, as well as on the cuffs of the sleeves and the hem. The buttons are polished brass with a pentagram on each one, and the shoulders bear white epaulettes. Printed across the shoulder blades is Vivio's full name in white also. On her feet, she draws some sturdy black leather boots, with buttons the same as the ones on the jacket.

Again, she turns it to face Vivio. "A mix of casual and official~ Do you think that suits you?"

Vivio Takamachi (737) has posed:
As Vivio is shown the third design, her vivid red and green eyes light up at the sight. She seems to be much happier with this new outfit than the previous two. She looks at it closely, nodding a little and saying, "I like it!"

Vivio hmms quietly, "Though maybe get rid of the things on the shoulders... And my name." Vivio looks a bit embarrassed at the thought of advertising her name like that. She then oooooos as she gets an idea, looking at Tomoyo once more, "If I give you a pattern... No, two! Could you use them for the buttons?"

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Nothing satisfies Tomoyo more than a satisfied customer! Well, that's not really true. Seeing Sakura in a new outfit that Tomoyo made is far more satisfying. But a happy customer is definitely second! Nodding to Vivio's request, she takes an eraser to the epaulettes and the name on the back, refilling the lines she erased soon after to make the outfit complete without them.

"Oooohhh, a request! I can certainly do something as simple as that." She turns the book to Vivio and hands her the pencil to draw them, if she needs to.

Vivio Takamachi (737) has posed:
Vivio takes the pencil and book and looks at them for a moment, then laughs a little in embarrassment, "I can never remember how to do them properly!" She then gets another idea, "Hey, Chris. You draw them!" Vivio puts the book down flat on a nearby table and hands the pencil to her floating bunny.

Chris nods in understanding, taking the pencil in his arms. Even without hands, he somehow manages to grip the drawing tool quite well. He begins to draw. His accuracy and detail is very sharp as he quickly begins to sketch out the two patterns. Tomoyo will probably recognise them for what they are quickly enough: Spell circles. Two of them, one primarily circular and the other triangular.

Chris puts the pencil down and turns to Vivio, who holds out her hand for a high five to her Device, "That's my Chris!" The plush bunny bumps its pointed arm against Vivio's hand.

Vivio then grins at Tomoyo, "They're pretty detailed, but I'm guessing that'd be hard to do on a button... So just the basic shape is fine!"

Tomoyo Daidouji has posed:
Tomoyo giggles as Vivio asks Chris to handle the drawing for her. It's easy to forget, but she really is a ten year old. As the circles are drawn onto the page, she nods slowly. It is very intricate... but a tailor to Elites won't be so easily cowed! "I can handle that... how do you want it? The circles alternate as you go down the buttons?"

Depending on Vivio's answer, Tomoyo makes a note of it and puts the book away, before extracting a measuring tape from her apron. "Okay! Now, I'll need to measure you to make sure this all fits properly, okay?" She smiles as kindly as she can, to try and take the edge off of the horror of being measured.

Vivio Takamachi (737) has posed:
Vivio nods quickly in agreement with Tomoyo's question about the buttons alternating, "Yes, like that!"

As it soon comes to measuring, Vivio doesn't seem at all bothered by it. The environment she grew up in is a lot less sensitive to personal space! She's used to getting lots of hugs, hair pets, arm and hand holding. Not to mention often sleeping in the same bed as her friends! Compared to all that, meassuring is rather tame~

As they finish up, Vivio transforms back into her normal child form, thanking Tomoyo repeatedly before heading off back home with a bit of a skip in her step.
