Kongou (637) has posed:
Tonight's matchup between the Saiyen warrior Bardock and the Kanmusu battleship Kongou has been arranged here in the Northern Mountains-- Specifically, the shoreline of one of the numerous large glacial lakes that dot the region. Sporting a beach of pebbles and graval dotted with larger stones and jagged boulders dropped here in some bygone ice age, it's a picturesque vision of mountain beauty.

And it's about to have one hell of a day.

Approaching from the water is a woman in white and black, long sleeves billowing as she skates across the surface effortlessly, adjusting her posture slightly as she approaches the beach itself. Crouching, the woman leaps the last few meters and performs a flip, striking the gravel-strewn beach hard enough to scatter stones in a small crater while standing only on her two feet. The metal rigging attached to her hips suddenly fires with a thunderous report, filling the sky with explosions of flak and colored light-- much like fireworks. As she rises amidst her own display, Kongou raises a hand to salute, than thrusts it out forward while her guns traverse, "Be ready for a show, <Everyone!> Kongou has arrived to seize victory, <Count On It!>"

Bardock (795) has posed:
Bardock flies across the sky, engulfed in a bright white aura that leaves a streak of an 'aura tail' behind him for miles after he has already passed through. Eventually, he reaches the battle site, and shoots downwards towards the beach, just as Kongou starts blowing things up in the sky. He grits his teeth and looks off to the side, watching the explosions, and wondering if he's already under attack! But it seems not. Which is good, because the match hasn't officially started yet, and he'd rather not win by disqualification of his opponent or something boring like that.

As he floats downwards, his aura dispersing from around him, he looks his opponent over and has to wonder if all his opponents are going to be young women. There's nothing wrong with that, but they didn't exactly comprise the majority of his enemies in his... Previous life. Oh, well. If they're all as strong as Vivio, then it should be an intense fight. One he may very well lose as well.

"Yo," he greets, as she scans around for someone who looks like a referee. His monkey-like tail is wrapped around his waist, which is a safer place for it than anywhere else in battle. He's gotten replacement armor for the suit that Vivio trashed with her lasers and magic-boosted blows, and seems to have recovered from his injuries as well. He can feel he has gotten a boost in his Ki capacity as a result, but his over all strength hasn't changed. Those weren't life-threatening injuries.

Kongou (637) has posed:
It's a tournament! It's not just fighting, but also entertaining the watchers. Even if this is just a qualification round. That's how Kongou is approaching the fight, at least. Leave it to a battleship to show off at every opportunity.

The brunette straightens her posture and withdraws her hand, resting it on her hip while her rigging's guns lower their elevations and traverse to an at-rest position. Already, the interior is clicking away at reloading the main battery, while the smaller pencil-like secondary guns swivel to and fro, seeking their target. Eyes travel from feet to head and she smiles brightly, "You must be Bardock. <Right On Time!>" Her unpropped hand raises, clenching into a fist, "I'm Kongou, so you're in the right place! I hope you don't expect a battleship to be defeated easily or you're going to be <Disappointed~!>"

Bardock (795) has posed:
"I don't know what to expect, honestly. I'm not sure I've fought an opponent like you before. You're... Half spaceship or something? Or more like the kind that goes in water, I guess. I don't know how that works, but I've seen what some of the weaponry on large vessels can do. If you have even half of that, I'm probably in for a rough battle." With his hands on his hips as he surveys Kongou up and down, he eventually rubs one of his fingerless-gauntleted hands against his nose a bit and then says, "I can't afford to hold back at the start this time. If I underestimate you, I'm finished!"

Bardock's hair wafts upwards on an unfelt air current for a few seconds before it just goes rigid and spiked, accompanied by a flash of golden energy that travels up his body from foot to head, leaving his physique sharper, his eyes green, and his hair the same color as the sun-hued aura that blazes up around him. The restless energy that comes with this form is already flowing through him, urging him to use it for something.

"I'm ready when you are. Shall we call the referee over to get us started?"

Kongou (637) has posed:
"Space, <No~!>" Though the comment about water gets a quick nod. The radars on her headpiece swivel briefly, than return to their normal posture while she lowers her hand to rest it on her hip as well, opposite its companion, "I prefer to learn on the go, so there's no research done here!" Her head tilts forward, casting her eyes in shadow from her bangs, "I work to avoid underestimating any enemy and give every fight my all!"

When the referee is mentioned, the girl nods and turns slightly, raising a hand to wave, "We're ready~! <Come On!> We promise not to shoot you if you start the match~!"

    No guarantees for crossfire though.

Bardock (795) has posed:
Once Kongou gives the all clear, the referee, some kind of turtle person, comes wandering over. He raises a flipper and says slowly, "World... Martial... Arts.. .... .... ...Tournament... Qualifier... Match... For..." He pauses for quite a long time as Bardock stands ready in a fighting position.

    "Bracket B." Bardock supplies.

    "Bracket..."

    "B. Bracket B. Just say 'B'."

    "B. ...Kongou... Versus... Bardock..."

Bardock focuses back on his opponent, putting out of his mind his irritation with the slow referee. Until he stands there and waits. And waits. And waits. And the turtle doesn't say to start. "Would you just--!"

"Begin--" the moment the word leaves the turtle's mouth and the flipper comes down, there's a shockwave that sends the waves of the lake rippling backwards and sends the referee spinning away on his shell as the saiyan moves so quickly he creates a sonic boom in his hurry to start the battle.

Bardock rushes in an attempts to land a punch on Kongou right from the start! He's a lot more impatient than he was against Vivio. He's still not used to this form or the heightened aggression it brings out in an already-aggressive warrior. Maybe he'll learn to control it eventually. For now...

    It's go time!

Kongou (637) has posed:
    Begin!

Kongou's radars twitch the instant Bardock explodes into motion and she brings her hands up, arms crossed. His fist strikes her forearms and the force translates to her shoulders, pushing the girl back on her heels several meters through the graval beach's stony surface. Striking her doesn't feel like hitting flesh, but rather metal. Though even that wouldn't dissuade a Saiyen for long.

Arms lowering slightly, Kongou shows her smile with a little laugh, "I see! A close range fighter~!"

This close, she won't risk using the big guns. However, the smaller barrels sticking out from either side of her hip mount all swing forward within their casemate mountings just above the armor belt, "Getting close might be hazardous~!"

Immediately, the girl's fitting emits a series of dull thuds and puffs of smoke from the smaller 15.2cm secondary guns, peppering Bardock with comparatively small explosive shells while he's still so close.

Bardock (795) has posed:
Kongou is built solid! He doesn't feel like he's just hitting some random person. More like another saiyan. Kongou's weaponsfire hits him before he can speed out of the way. The Super Saiyan takes the shells in a manner similar to how Kongou took his punch. They push him back, score him a bit with painful impacts, but he might as well be metal himself for how much his body actually gives in. "I like to think I'm fairly good at it," he replies to Kongou, before streaking upwards in a near comet-shaped blaze of golden light to high in the sky. "But that's not all I can do!"

He gathers his Ki into one hand, points it down, palm-open, at his opponent, and unleashes a barrage of small energy spheres that fly downwards at multiple angles, to detonate wherever they strike. He's still keeping the output low. The fight has begun now, and he has a better handle on that aggression. As long as he's fighting, there's no problem. He'd LIKE to drag this out, to really test what he can do as a Super Saiyan. He's never had the opportunity. Vivio came close, and she made him realize how much he still had to learn in regard to this transformation. If he can't fight at full power from the start like she can... He won't even stand a chance against opponents of her caliber, let alone someone like Cell! And Kongou feels like she might be a similarly tough opponent.

Even so, there's no need to throw everything into his attacks from the get-go, because while he can't underestimate this ship girl, that also means he has to wait and see what she's capable of as well. At least for a little while.

Kongou (637) has posed:
Kongou, for her credit, is entirely in her element. Being built for combat is at least one thing that the mysterious kanmusu and the saiyens have in common, even if one is somewhat more literally built for it than the other. Digging her feet down, the woman advances through the barrage of energy. Some of the shots ricochet off her armor while others strike solidly, forming black marks on her white sleeves and haori, or punching dents into the metal of her rigging's armor belt.

After just a few steps she turns sidelong, presenting a narrower profile, and the distinctive cannons on her left side elevate slightly. Amidst the incoming energy bolts, Kongou thrusts out her hand, "Ready! Aim~!"

    "<FIYAH~!>"

Immediately the noise of Bardock's ki barrage is drowned out by the thunderous reports of Kongou's main battery, enveloping the woman briefly in clouds of black smoke as high explosive main battery shells are hurled right at the center of his chest. Easily twice the caliber of her secondaries, these are a taste of the warship's true firepower.

Bardock (795) has posed:
Bardock tries to move aside in the air, but one of the detonations catches him in the periphery and hurls him directly into another, resulting in some noticeable damage to his armor and a ringing in his ears. As the smoke hangs in the air, however, Bardock comes barreling down out of it, attacking Kongou head-on! Or seeming to, at least, because he flickers out of existence and then reappears directly in front of her and crouched on the ground, where she might not be looking immediately. Though those sensors of hers seem to be capable of tracking him somewhat...

From his position he sends a heated Ki-infused punch towards Kongou's belly, followed by a flipkick aimed at her jaw! Switching between ranged and melee combat like this might keep his opponent off-balance, since she seems to mostly use ranged attacks. But if she has some other trick up her stylish sleeves, he wants to know about it before he commits to a major attack!

Kongou (637) has posed:
Kongou steps forward again, swinging her hips around and drawing her second set of guns forward while sweeping the initial pair of turrets into the opposite position, the barrels ejecting jets of smoke and lowering for their reload while their partners elevate. However, she aborts the continuation of her barrage when Bardock charges right towards her from the cloud created by her high explosive shells. Those hips swing back and she centers her rigging behind herself while raising an arm defensively.

Bardock's speed gives him an advantage, even over the self-proclaimed Fast Battleship (hey, 31 knots is fast when you weigh this much!), and she loses track of him for a split second. Radars shift and her attention follows. Not quick enough-- A solid punch strikes her middle below her guard, sending out a clanging noise of metal and a grunt from the girl. She quickly drops her guard to swat away the followup attack, directing it away from her body and into the ridiculously solid armor of her Rigging's belt.

Keeping her hand on Bardock's forearm from guiding his punch away, Kongou effectively keeps him in range while raising her free hand, fingers clenching together with a popping of knuckles, "Didn't I warn you about getting close~?" Her eyes close and there's something unintentionally sinister about that smile.

Tightening her fist, Kongou brings it down like a hammer, releasing Bardock's forearm with the other. With a rolling motion pulling back her right hand, she follows it up with the left in a short, jab-like uppercut. The first directed at the top of his head, the second at his chin.

The battleship's combination is wrapped up neatly by continuing the rolling movement with her hips, swinging the heavy steel rigging mounted to her hips around to introduce the saiyen to a time-honored battleship tradition, "<Ramming Speed~!>"

Bardock (795) has posed:
Good. That's exactly what he'd hoped to verify. Even if it was rather painful to do so. He weaves back a bit, a bit of blood tricking down his chin from his mouth from one of the blows, but then he returns the punishment he has received in kind, or tries anyway. "Same to you!" he retorts as his gold aura momentarily turns bright blue, superluminating his entire body in blue and white as he swings a fist right at Kongou... Only to at the last second, focus all that Ki into that one hand and release it as a large Ki wave at point-blank range!

The saiyan's opponent is tough, most assurely. And she can do plenty of damage. But there has to be a weak point in her defenses beyond merely being slower than he is. If not... He's going to have to start capitalizing on his speed more. He doesn't think he'll win in a battle of attrition. This transformation still uses up too much Ki to maintain for him, and he hasn't perfected its defensive abilities. Sure, his reaction time is way beyond what it normally is, but his normal, base form's body needs more training... Especially in regard to his stamina.

Kongou doesn't seem to have that kind of problem. She's already equipped for the level of power she's using, experienced at it. He'll just have to try harder, watch for openings, and hope for a satisfying outcome to this fight. Regardless of if he wins or loses!

Kongou (637) has posed:
"Ah~!" Kongou swings her rigging back, ignoring the dent left by that characteristically hard Saiyen head in her belt armor, "<That's Fine~!>" Though the battleship is king among warships when it comes to taking damage, even she must have limitations. And while she may be experienced with her rigging and know what she's capable of, a purpose-built warship might just be lacking in the ability to grow stronger without some sort of major remodel.

The ki-enhanced punch strikes solidly against the girl's side as she twists to try and diminish it rather than avoid it entirely, impacting with great force. The accompaning burst of energy rips open the back of her haori, exposing the backs of her shoulders and pulling a sudden, tense "Tch..!" out of her.

"Type 3 loaded..! Fiyah~!" Though Kongou hadn't fired her High Explosive shells at close range, she seems to have no reservations about these different shells. Under her arm, the right side turrets both take aim, partially obscured by her sleeve until they fire. The blast of smoke envelops her, while the shells burst in mid-flight, halfway between warship and saiyen, into shotgun-like cones of shrapnel and flaming magnesium rods. An unexpected use of her dangerous 'Beehive' anti-air rounds..!

Bardock (795) has posed:
Ironically enough, it is exactly Bardock's lack of technical expertise and unfamiliarity with Kongou's weapons that keeps him from failing to react in time to her unexpected usage of her weaponry. Because he was alert to whatever counter-attack might be coming his way, watching specifically for SOMETHING to happen, and didn't have any preconceived notions of the battleship's capabilities, he's not quite as surprised as someone more knowledgeable about Kongou might have been. Perhaps Bardock's opponent has the right idea with going into a battle without assumptions or prior research. At least sometimes. He did kind of get mauled by Cell by not finding out everything he could first, but that would have happened regardless.

In this case though? He reacts to the barrage by doing a series of backflips along the ground, catching some of it in his back in his attempt to rapidly get out of immediate range with his super speed, before he manages to handspring up into the air and over the rest of the sharpnel, and then with his hands still underneath him, as he comes out of his push off the ground... He releases a double-plamed wave of blue-white Ki at Kongou with a yell of effort. "YAAAAH!"

Kongou (637) has posed:
Yup, he's quick! Kongou's shots mostly go wide, further reducing the damage Bardock's armor has to withstand. The turrets already start clicking for their reloading phase, barrels lowering. Kicking off, she slides aside along the beach towards the water, shielding her face when energy envelops her. She quickly emerges from the wave, smoldering in places, and steps into the lakewater.

'On' the water is a more accurate assessment. No sooner has she taken three paces out that Kongou kicks off, skating out across the lake at an increasing pace. Her gun turrets swing aside, lining up towards the beach while Kongou herself turns just enough for all four turrets to take aim. The barrels elevate, and the smoking battleship declares, "You think I'm <Finished~?> Think again! Type 94 loaded... Commence Bombardment~!"

Immediately the closest turret fires, followed by the second, than the third, and finally the fourth. A booming staccato of gunfire that echoes off the mountain landscape and hurls up sprays of water behind Kongou as she unleashes her broadside.

Bardock (795) has posed:
Kongou's attacks this time do significantly more damage due to the area they cover. Bardock darts and weaves in the air, but there's too much fire power being thrown out in too many places, and he winds up taking a great deal of damage. When the smoke clears, he's floating in the air, still more or less intact, but bleeding from multiple surface injuries, with his armor mostly-destroyed and the undershirt beneath torn to only cover half his torso. He's looking down at his opponent fiercely, but not making any further move to attack yet.

After several long moments, he just smirks and says, "If that's how you want it." Then the smirk vanishes as he gathers his power, his aura surging outwards and growing brighter. The lake begins to be pushed backwards from an unseen force, the beach beginning to crack, break up and rise up into the air in huge boulders that then shatter into smaller pieces as the enter the edges of his aura.

Lightning flashes in the sky over head, even if there are no clouds to generate it. As he builds up power, Bardock lets out a low growl that builds and builds into a roaring shout...! His whole body flashes gold, and then he seems to vanish as he streaks down at Kongou in a dart of bright light attempting to hit her hard enough to send the water in the lake sloshing right out of its bed, and cause a ravine to tear up along the ground in the trajectory of his fist afterwards. He then sends an elbow attack, driven by both arms by interlacing his fingers, towards his opponent, bolts of golden electricity crackling outwards from his movements alone!

If Kongou is pushed back, he chases after her, vanishing and reappearing in her path in order to attempt to slam her back to the ground with an axe-handle strike. If she doesn't get thrown back, he just flickers above and behind her to attempt this instead. Finally, he flies straight up into the air, cups his hands together at his side, forming pair of swirling blue-white orbs, and then hurls them downwards, combining them into a single huge sphere along the way! Whatever they hit is going to be at the center of a huge dome of explosive force!

Kongou (637) has posed:
Cannons reloading, Kongou shifts her weight to the other leg, accellerating out over the lake, turning in a graceful arc as she does so. Though her eyes leave Bardock briefly, the radars on her headband continue to swivel, as if tracking him even without her eyes. When he vanishes, her eyes dart where he was, but it's already too late.

Though solid to hit, a blow with that much force lifts Kongou off her feet and sends her sailing across the lake, further accellerated by the follow-up elbow strike. She's then slammed down into the bare lakebed with a shout of pain and disappears in the resulting blast of blue-white Ki. Before the smoke can even finish billowing up, the lakewater surges back in, obscuring the woman completely.

After a few moments, the lake's turbulent water settles, several feet lower due to the huge depressions and cracks now lining its bed. A faint light shines from below the waves, gleaming a silvery white, though this slowly fades. Has Kongou lost? Or more seriously, has she been sunk?

Quite suddenly an enormous gray shape erupts from the lake's surface, rising as a towering structure until it looms thirty meters above the surface. Around it, smoking, more structure appears, including full-sized versions of those bothersome turrets. One, aft of the bridge pagoda, is a smoldering wreck while the second aft turret sports only one intact barrel. Even the main mast is cracked, hanging back over the deck and fouling the seaplane catapult.

The dents in the armor tell the truth: This is Kongou.

The forward turrets traverse, barrels elevating while water pours from the muzzles. Echoing through the ship's PA, her unmistakable voice sounds out, "Ready! Aim~!"

    "<FIYAH~!>"

Kongou's guns before were loud. At their full size, they rattle bones, shake the countryside, and hurl out a cone of water from the ship's side for dozens of meters. The red-painted shells explode in midair, introducing Bardock to the fully sized Type 3 anti-air shell he'd so nimbly dodged before.

Bardock (795) has posed:
While Kongou has been full of surprises, one of her surprises finally actually just leaves Bardock dumbfounded enough to not respond in time. He stares, eyebrows down, mouth slightly open, wondering what kind of transformation Kongou is undergoing. When she turns into a ship, he yells, "What!?" and clenches his fists, just in time to get shot at. He tries to actually shoot the shells out of the air, but isn't fast enough, and gets hit directly, sending him falling out of the air, trailing thick black smoke. One eye is half-squinted in pain, but he manages to turn as he falls upside-down towards the ground, gather his Ki in one hand and then unleash it in a concentrated golden blast at the deck that attempts to not just pierce through what it hits, but then explode afterwards in a column of light and flame! He doesn't know where the weak point on a battleship is, but he's fighting not to forget that his opponent is a person, not just a vessel, and that he can't use killing force the way he would if they were trying to end each other's lives. So even if he knew where the bridge was, he wouldn't be shooting there, for fear of, like, blowing out Kongou's brains or something.

Which is, obviously, not the intent of this fight. But damn if he isn't being pushed to fight seriously! It's hard NOT to treat this as a life-or-death battle with how these two are going at it!

Kongou (637) has posed:
"This is me!" Kongou announces through the loudspeakers. Along the deck and from the pagoda, various calibers of anti-air guns swivel and open fire, filling the air above the lake with bursts of flak and machine gun tracers all tracking Bardock's high-speed movements. The forward turrets lower their guns, ejecting puffs of smoke and clicking as they reload, while the remaining aft turret swings around.

The golden orb strikes amidships, just aft of the destroyed #3 turret and punches a hole in the armored deck, pulling a noise of complaint from the girl inhabiting the warship's interior. When it detonates, something goes up with it and the entire #3 turret erupts from the deck in a geyser of flames, flipping end-over-end until it impacts the beach in a spray of stone and soil, in flames. The round hole where it had been blazes, and Kongou's voice wails in sudden pain.

Trailing smoke from the destroyed turret's inferno, Kongou rolls a hard port rudder, throwing the ship into a heavy turn across the lake's surface that brings her forward guns to bear once again. With the anti-air batteries firing just as much to cause damage as to restrict movement, the main battery discharges again, adding huge bursts of shrapnel and crimson-burning magnesium to the bursts of flak and the orange tracers already filling the sky.

Bardock (795) has posed:
Pushed increasingly by pain and instinctive combat ability, as well as a certain quality that was passed down to at least one of his sons... The ability to only truly show his power when put under pressure, Bardock blazes back and forth through the sky, zig-zagging, diving, moving in every direction, in ways that most aircraft are simply unable to. The three-dimensional maneuvering allows Bardock to avoid most of the anti-air craft fire, but he has to hold still for a brief moment when Kongou fires her forward guns. This time, he's ready. While painful ammunition pelts him in that brief instant, he fires a barrage of Ki blasts to counter the incoming shells, destroying them before they can reach him, before then flying back down towards Kongou in the opening created by the need for the guns to reload -- a momentary 'dead zone' where he hopes nothing is coming, because Kongou's guns hit REALLY hard. If she nails him again... He isn't sure what condition he'll be in. Maybe not enough to dodge anymore.

But he can't worry about that, just try to avoid it, as he dives towards the battleship named Kongou, gathers his Ki around his body, trying to accelerate and shield himself as much as possible, and use a time-honored attack that has been in his family for GENERATIONS!

He attempts to slam into Kongou right in the side as hard as he can, head-first. Against a normal ship, it might be enough to tear through and come out the other side. Against a magical living ship, maybe not so much. Especially given that, again, they're not trying to kill each other. He already feels kind of bad about the cry of pain he heard. But he can't let that distract him in this crucial moment as he uses the power of a Super Saiyan to...

    PERFORM A HEADBUTT!

Kongou (637) has posed:
"Focus fire!" Kongou's voice declares. Immediately, the streams of gunfire swivel down, becoming more intent on shooting Bardock down rather than trying to fence him in, when he takes a page from the Japanese Naval Aviation handbook. The battleship hurls her rudder into a sharp starboard turn, putting a noticeable list to the deck as she leans outboard of the turn in an attempt to evade, gunfire rattling across the warship's exterior, "Kamikaze, Kamikaze-- Akai, Akai, Akai!"

It's just not enough given the counter given to her Type 3 ammunition rendering it an impotent attack. Bardock strikes against the side of the pagoda superstructure and, perhaps surprising to him, rips right into it. There's an explosion when he shoots out the other side and the warship begins to glow. Silver light escapes first from the damage, the holes in her hull, and then encompasses the entire vessel. Rapidly it dissolves into dust on the lake's surface.

A few moments later, an unconscious Kongou washes ashore, her heavy rigging gone. But she's not sunk, so there's no risk of Vivio facing a Ko-class later in the Qualifying Round..!

Bardock (795) has posed:
Well, crap, that's the exact opposite of what he was hoping would happen. As the turtle referee is taking his sweet time to waddle towards the lake and the recently-beached body of Kongou, Bardock flies down, bleeding and breathing hard, to stand beside her and make sure there's no holes through her torso or anything. After several long moments of the turtle man inspecting Kongou, he holds up a flipper and says, "World... Martial..."

"Yeah, yeah, just say the winner so she can get to a doctor!"

    "Match between... Kongou... And..."

"For the love of Kami hurry!" Bardock yells, clenching his fists.

    "Winner is... Bardock!"

The turtle is sent spinning as Bardock scoops Kongou up in his arms and starts taking her towards whoever seems like a medic. He's unaware of any special treatment needs she may have, but presumably they accounted for that when they set up the area for the battle. Looking down at the unconscious ship girl, Bardock's perpetually fierce expression softens slightly.

    "You did good, kid."

He still doesn't know her real age, but that doesn't matter right now. Because Kongou did very, very good.

Kongou (637) has posed:
From the stands, a trio of girls emerge. A black-haired girl in twintails and two younger, one with raven-shaded hair over one eye and the other with a shorter bob cut, all clad in esoteric clothing in some sort of mix of classic Japanese and modern sensibilities. The various bits and bobs are similar to Kongou's headband and other fittings, so it's likely they're from the same world.

"A doctor won't help," Isuzu states, "We'll escort her back to the repair docks at Hikari Seaport."

"...Fought well," Hayashimo murmurs, though keeps herself behind Isuzu.

"Her anti-air is strong, but you're a nimble one, huh?" Akizuki points out as she crouches down to lift Kongou by hoisting up her arm. Hayashimo joins her on the other side, and the two haul her to her feet, though she's still out. "Even my Choujuucentihou-chans would have trouble following that!"

"We'll take care of Kongou from here," Isuzu states with a nod, "Good luck in the tournament."

Bardock (795) has posed:
Bardock hands over Kongou to her comrades and watches after her with a mix of fatigue and concern. He lets out a breath slowly and allows his hair to drop back down to a less spiked state, returning both his eyes and hair color to their natural color. The tiredness is even more pronounced now, but at least he isn't suffering a continuous Ki drain. As the other ship girls haul Kongou away, he mutters, "Yeah..." Then more loudly. "Yeah, thanks." When they've travelled a little bit of distance away, he calls out, "Tell her when she wakes up to do well in her future matches too!"

Putting his hands on his hips, he stretches out his back a bit as he leans back to gaze up at the sky. After awhile, he mumbles to no one in particular, "I guess I better get treated too."
