Jasper (858) has posed:
The Gem warship is usually a rather quiet place, given that there's not even half a dozen occupants aboard. More than usual, however, it seems like the three Gems - Jasper, Peridot and Lapis - are keeping to themselves. After the events of the previous evening, Jasper just can't see the point in facing any of them. There's just too many feelings boiling around her mind to even begin to consider falling into line.

So, she busies herself on the command bridge. There's not much to do, of course, but Jasper's very good at looking busy when she wants to be. And, more to the point, she's quite good at giving off an aura that says 'stay back' to the two Gems. For now, she's alone. Double-checking readiness reports, verifying small details, checking that Peridot's robonoids are doing their jobs.

But robonoids aren't any fun to give orders to. Idly, Jasper taps the tip of a Gem destabiliser against the command panel. Here, on the bridge, she still feels like she's in command. Just a little.

Ferham (516) has posed:
"How's the ship status?" Ferham enters from one of the corridors leading to the airlocks, her thigh-high high-heeled boots clicking as she walks. She seems like she's not exactly bothered to see just Jasper here, especialyl considering the little... encounter the two had before. "Is there something wrong with the display or the controls?" she walks over, as if to check them over herself, her wings folded compactly behind her. She idly peers over at Jasper. "What's that you got there?"

Jasper (858) has posed:
Jasper looks up, squinting at Ferham. "Oh, it's you." The words aren't as accusatory as they could be. It's a cool tone, but not necessarily an unfriendly one. "The ship is fine. Peridot could tell you more about that. Nothing's wrong with it. Nothing obvious, at least."

She raises the destabilizer in one hand. It's like a small two-pronged trident, with some kind of orb set between the two prongs. "This?" Jasper asks, "Oh, right. I forget. You're new. It's called a destabilizer. One hit from this and even the strongest Gems are taken out of action." She looks Ferham up and down, as if appraising her. "Might even do a number on you. It's quite the shock." She could be talking from experience.

Ferham (516) has posed:
"Indeed it is, as for your comment last time about training, well, I do benefit from it as well, I just don't from... exercise," Ferham looked over the muscular female gem. "I have synthetic muscle fibers, you see," she gestured to herself. "I see," she peered over the control panel that she'd stepped up to, nodding. "Destabilizer, huh? that looks... interesting," Ferham was apparently not going to comment on the odd shape of it, keeping comments to herself, apparently.

"It's... electrical?" she frowned a little and leaned back from the larger female, not seeming to like the sound of that. "I wouldn't reccommend testing it on me, if that's what you mean," she grinned.

Jasper (858) has posed:
Jasper shrugs her broad shoulders. "I don't know. Might be electricity, or certain energy wavelengths. That's Peridot's job. But if you're going to be working with us - working with /me/ - then I think you should know whether or not something like this can hurt you. Damage you. Whatever."

Jasper crosses her arms and grins back at Ferham. "We're facing an insurrection of particularly cunning Gems. That is, if we ever track them down again. It'd do to know what you're capable of, so I can plan out our tactics. Peridot might be smart but she doesn't have the mind of a military leader. That's my department."

She steps towards the middle of the command bridge, where there's a bit of space to move. "So. You gonna take your best shot?"

Ferham (516) has posed:
"Well, as long as it's not high voltage, I should be alright," Ferham eyed the strange device a little warily before looking at Jasper. "I don't know, I don't exactly ask her to test all her toys on me," Ferham smiled a little at Jasper, likely shining her on just a little. "What I'm capable of? Anti-gravity flight, built-in cryogenics generator, what exactly do you need to know about me?" Ferham put a hand on her hip and walked around to Jasper's side, tilting her head a bit.

"You want me to... fight you? In here?" Ferham looked around a little. "That wouldn't be wise you know, but I won't use any weapons, if that's okay? Be gentle on me, okay? It's my first time--" Ferham raised her gloved hand and sent what seemed like a chop down at Jasper's right shoulder. It was using some force, of course, but not bone crushing, or anything.

Jasper (858) has posed:
"Yes. Relax," Jasper purrs, but it's certainly not reassuring, "We'll be very careful not to break anything. Besides, I don't want to go walking about the ship." She doesn't elucidate the 'why' of that, though. She nods as Ferham outlines her capabilities and settles into a relaxed stance.

When Ferham's hand comes down on her shoulder, Jasper grunts. She takes that wrist in her hand and, obviously deciding that practical learning is the best kind of learning, jabs Ferham with the destabiliser. The device crackles and emits a shock of energy! To a Gem, it's disasterous, disrupting their physical form and forcing them to retreat to their gem. With Steven, it was just kind of unpleasant when he was jabbed with one. Who knows what kind of effect it'd even have on a robot?

She tosses the weapon aside, though, after that. "No more weapons," she agrees.

Ferham (516) has posed:
"I understand, you seem to get so excited when you first saw me--I'm used to that," Ferham's green eyes are a bit wide when she realizes that Jasper has caught her wrist in time, however. The blast of energy gets a light shriek out of Ferham, but just after that she is redoubling her effort and pulling her hand back from Jasper. "Ooh, that felt good, aww, I don't get another?" Ferham put a little disappointed tone into her voice as the destabilizer was thrown aside--apparently the femmebot's systems had handled it.
Right now however, Ferham was putting a lot more of her robotic muscle into her arms as she grabs Jasper's other arm with her free one, and giving her some definite push backwards--testing perhaps just quite how strong Jasper was. "Nnnh, show me how you can use all those muscles," she muttered, face tensing from all the force she was putting into this.

Jasper (858) has posed:
Jasper arches an eyebrow. She lives for a good scrap, sure, but Ferham's exuberance isn't exactly something she's seen before. She braces her feet as Ferham pushes against her, and then pushes against the smaller fighter with all of her strength. "I'm stronger than any Gem that's not some disgusting fusion," Jasper growls out. She releases Ferham's wrist, then snares her hand, grappling with her.

"Now, if I had my helmet, I'd headbutt you," Jasper says. "But you said no weapons and I don't want to break anything important." So, she raises one foot, and kicks Ferham in the abdomen. She pulls the blow but, even with that in mind, she's still a very strong Gem!

Ferham (516) has posed:
As Jasper pushes back on Fer she's bending her knees outward and quickly trying to let go of Jasper's arms and using her hands attempts to toss her back over her head and over her, trying to send her tumbling overhead, more or less by using her own momentum against her.

"Aww, headbutting? That doesn't sound very fun," she would spring back up and step back if the attempt succeeded or failed, rising up but keeping that bent-knee and hunched fighter's stance. She just had her hands and feet course, though she seemed serious about this it was hard to contain the amusement on her face. As the gem launches that foot of theirs out, it'd impact her chest sending her backwards a bit, before her hands clapped down over it, catching her ankle and trying to twist and take the gem woman down by twisting her off her balance.

Jasper (858) has posed:
Jasper is certainly big and strong, but she's not exactly a dancer on her feet. So, when Ferham grabs hold of her leg and twists it, Jasper goes down in a heap. She pushes herself onto her elbows and knees, rolling to the side, and throwing a kick out at Ferham.

It's a diversion! Jasper springs up and locks Ferham in a hold, arms around her middle, and /squeezes/. She turns on her heel and, with a shout of exertion, hurls the pink robot towards the view screen. Luckily, it's quite tough as Peridot knows how, well, curt Jasper can be with equipment. Also luckily, that Peridot's not around to see Jasper throw Ferham at it.

It's bad enough that the Crystal Gems keep breaking her things!

Ferham (516) has posed:
When Ferham is given that bear-hug by Jasper, she's gritting her teeth and trying to force exert force enough with her arms enough to break out of it, however this does not prove to be happening. "Nngghh... big strong arms to hold me tight, I see," Ferham then gives a bit of a yell when the larger female sends her hurtling toward the screen. She winds up flattened against it, momentarily, before physics bounces her body back and off. As she lands rolling, she rolls over her wings which allow her to break the momentum enough so she's able to push herself up quickly, springing back to her feet. She wasn't sure if she'd broken or dented the screen, of course, yet. She really wasn't paying attention.

Fer balanced herself back on those heels before springing toward Jasper now, utilizing some of her speed and trying to push the Gem back and down in a kind of grab.

Jasper (858) has posed:
Jasper waits at the center of the bridge for Ferham to retaliate. Her face is grim, stoic, although her eyes are alight with a certain, feral intensity. It's really only a test but it's pretty clear that Jasper lives for the adreanline rush.

She throws a punch as Ferham springs towards her, the fist going right past her opponent. Jasper growls, goes to swing her elbow back to clip Ferham, and is forced to her knees as Ferham goes to grab her, pushing her back and downwards. It looks like Ferham got a bit of a drop in her through her speed.

"Not much point in grabbing a Gem, Ferham," Jasper tells her, "We don't need to breathe. And I doubt you're strong enough to hold me for long." As if to prove her point, Jasper tries to push herself to her feet and, using her strength, throw Ferham over her head and down onto the deck!

Ferham (516) has posed:
"I wasn't trying to strangle you," Ferham mutters as she lands on Jasper more or less, and has her grappled for a bit. "Nice to know I can bring you to your knees, however, Nnh," she grins a little, working her arms to try and wrestle Jasper down but winds up being sent flying again--and not by her own power. Ferham tumbles over Jasper and winds up getting up again, slower this time, not as athletically or fluidly as before, pulling herrself back up.

"I think that's enough rough housing for today, Jasper honey, however It's clear I'm a little quicker, but you're a bit stronger than me," she dusts off her legs and front, brushing her gloved hands together.

Jasper (858) has posed:
Jasper watches Ferham rise, and drops her fists to her side. She relaxes, those fists becoming hands again as she accepts the cessation of hostilities. "Yes," she agrees, "That seems to be the case. Not half bad, really," Jasper adds, giving Ferham a curt nod. Is that... almost a compliment? It sounds like it.

Ferham (516) has posed:
"I also don't want to risk damaging this place... anymore than we already have, that is," Ferham pointed to the view screen. "I don't want to be the one to have to explain /that/ to Miss Peridot, for instance," Ferham looked a bit sideways at Jasper as she attempted to walk past. "I'll be in the crew quarters freshening up if you need me," she seemed to be proceeding calmly along on her way, heels click-clacking against the bridge's floor as she went.

Jasper (858) has posed:
"Understood," Jasper says, like a drill sergeant. "You're dismissed." She turns back to look at the viewscreen. It looks fine to her, sure, but she doesn't have robotic sensors - or Peridot's sharp eyes. She returns to brooding over whatever task she had been attending to before their impromptu bout.
