Cast of Characters: 376, 867

Faora-Ul (376) has posed:
It had been a relatively quiet evening in Gotham City when noise came in over the scanners that there had been a break in at a cannery near the docks. While that itself didn't necessarily warrant Batman's attention, certain details of the break in did - reports read: Caped figure. Can fly. Bullets ineffective. And finally and perhaps the most damning, that when attempting to apprehend the suspect one squad car was crushed by the suspect's bare hands, while the other was destroyed by 'laser beams' from the eyes.
The reports were extremely new, it hadn't gotten back to central yet. With any luck, Batman could get there before any other officers put their lives at risk attempting to investigate.

Terry McGinnis (867) has posed:
Terry McGinnis was in the industrial part of Gotham City when the word came across of somethign going on. Muttering about the Ice Cream and how a shake sounds soooo good, Terry ran and got on his motorcycle. Once he was at an area that was safe, he changed and took off as he flew through the air. Heading for the Harbo, Terry summoned the Batmobile and met up with it as the speed of the Batmobile was quicker then the speed from his suit. "Its a Sunday," he states as he sees the smoke and drops out of the Batmobile as it flies over head, landing.

Looking around, he heads towards the noise to see just what is going on....

Faora-Ul (376) has posed:
The damage was instantly clear. Police cars lay overturned and smoking around the site of the break in, one was still on fire, supposedly the victim of the aforementioned laser beams. The police themselves had fallen back to another position and although Batman could hear their radio squabble, they weren't close enough to see him.
The cannery's front gates were stripped like bark off a tree, laying the interior bare. Inside there was no light, but Terry could hear the ruckus of something big being torn apart inside. It sounded like a bulldozer peeling apart a dump truck. The perpetrator wasn't visible from the entrance, but the trail of destruction lead inside.

Terry McGinnis (867) has posed:
atman walks in and looks around as he hears the noise and sees the destruction. "Who or what caused that?" Max says over the radio to him. "No idea, but whatever or whoever is making this look like a hot knife through butter," Terry says to her as studies everything, "Becareful Terry," she says as he moves on and and pushes a button on his belt, cloaking. Moving he checks ot make sure no one is hurt before he moves on towards the source of the noise.

Faora-Ul (376) has posed:
As Batman wades into the cannery he sees overturned shipping crates everywhere. They've been torn to pieces and their contents scattered everywhere. Strangely, they didn't seem to contain canned goods, rather a variety of what appears to be medical equipment. It's hard to say what purpose the equipment served - it's been mostly shredded, but it's definitely not something you'd find in a hospital. Every crate, Terry may notice, bears a large distinct logo that was stranegly absent from the front of the cannery. Two L's, side by side, painted broadly across every crate.
Suddenbly a figure leaps into view from somewhere across the warehouse. When it lands, there's a thunderous impact and a cape shudders across it's form to settle slowly as it rises to stand. He can make it out now - it's a woman. She turns her head slowly, scanning the interior. For a brief moment she locks eyes directly on him, and then continues to scan - as if she hadn't seen him.

Terry McGinnis (867) has posed:
Batman blinks as he looks around at everything. As he studies it, the person lands in front of him and leaves a nice crater in the ground. Which causes a nasty impact and shakes the area. "..." and he looks as she scans, . o 09Did she see me?) he thinks a she looks at the crates . o 0 (LL....) and he blinks, "What's going on?" he asks as he drops the cloak and looks at the lady infront of him. "And who are you?" he asks.

Faora-Ul (376) has posed:
"Finally came out to play?" SHe replies, her back turned. Before she says anything else, she approaches another, unopened, crate. The exterior is made of wood - with a brush of her hands it disintegrates into splinters, revealing a larger solid metal case inside. Again, the double LL's are stamped prominently. "I am Sub-Commander Faora-Ul. And I know who you are." She grabs the front of the case in both hands and with little effort peels the metal until it's folded away in a crumpled heap. Inside, more medical equipment. Her jaw tightens, the crunching sound is audible. "Damn," She hisses quietly to herself, turning to face Terry.
Directing a finger at him, as she momentarily gives the boy her full attention, "You are Batman, though your profile from Kal-El's database was different, yet I recognize the emblem - the uniform. And this, of course, is your protectorate city."

Terry McGinnis (867) has posed:
Batman looks and blinks, "I am Batman, and I am sure that the profile you have is of the first Batman," he adds as he looks at her. "So, what are you looking for within all of the medical equipment here?" and he thinks, "That belongs to Lex Luthor?" he asks her. "Yea, I protect this city?" he says as he walsk forward, "And there was no crime going on here yet.. So why destroy the place?" he asks her.

Faora-Ul (376) has posed:
Scanning the interior again, she's listening to Batman even though it appears she's become more preoccupied with her original goal. The black haired soldier pauses suddenly at something he says though. Steering her cold vision back to him she faces him with a sharp look, "Do I appear to be a police officer?" She hisses, "I did not come here to stop a crime. I go where I choose if at my discretion where Krypton is concerned."
She turns from Terry, walking to one of the many still intact crates. She indicates the double L logo with an open hand, "Yes, these are the property of LexCorp, the company owned and run by the human Lex Luthor. This company, the cannery, is a front he uses to ship things he prefers to keep secret. It came to my attention not long ago that LexCorp once endeavored to recreate the Kryptonian gene," Even as she says it her mouth seems to fill with ash. A look of undeniable disgust sours her face, "I will not tolerate any human being tampering with the Kryptonian genome. The full extent of his experiments is not known - but I thought I had tracked them here. All I have found are these... toys."

Terry McGinnis (867) has posed:
Batman thinks, "Well, last I knew hr did try, but it failed and the guy became known as Buzarro," he says. "But to me that was ... 30 to 40 years ago," he states as he looks. "This Gotham City is a combination of all Gotham Citys that were in the Multiverse. Everything from my Gotham of the 2040s to the first appearance of Batman," he adds. "So the tech here is a mix and odds are he has it at his headquarters in Metropolis," he mentions. "Knowing Luthur, he would keep something like that close to him more then at a distance. And if not here, then somewhere else. Superman would be the one to ask about that, if he is even here," he comments as he looks at the medicine.

"And if you are like Superman, couldn't you just use your x-ray vision to look at the crates to see if what you are looking for is there?" he asks her.

Faora-Ul (376) has posed:
"In war," Faora replies to Terry, "The only intelligence that can be trusted is that seen with the naked eye. I have read extensively about Luthor in Kal-El's files," She continues, "He is extremely clever - and proud. His small ego has driven him to best Kal-El, Superman as you call him, at all costs. He has learned all of his abilities and ways to counter them and that means I can not trust my extrasensory when dealing with Luthor. Whatever he has, I must see with my naked eye, and when I destroy it, I must do it with my bare hands." Her face darkens as she dwells longer on this man defiling her race with his science experiments. A fist balls up before her, squeezing tighter as she speaks, "When his time comes, it won't be enough to hear the moment his heart stops beating... I will have to open his chest and see it fore myself."

Terry McGinnis (867) has posed:
Batman nods as he looks, "Point," he says to her as he walks over to a crate, "Then lets start looking," he adds. "If Lex gets that genome, then there is gonna be a lot of trouble for everyone. With it, he could sell it to the Confederation and they could alter it to make Kryptonian hybrids of whatever they want that arrives int eh Multiverse," he states as he begins to open crates, and looks inside them. "I cannot believe I am doing this, but if that happens, then there is gonna be a lot of problems and I doubt anyone within the Union will be able to stop it."

Faora-Ul (376) has posed:
Faora tilts her head, watching as Batman steps up to add his assistance to the endeavor. Clearly, that was unexpected. "No physical trace of the experiment remains here," She says, folding her arms across the armoured emblem of the House of Ul on her chest. She casts a glance to the rear of the warehouse, "Back there - there is something. A machine. A scan of it revealed it to be some kind of database..a human computer. I have no experience with such things - but if any evidence of Luthor's experiments remains it must be hidden in there. And you are right - an army of Kryptonians would be beyond anything you can imagine." Her eyes become glassy for a moment, passing into backwards thought, "I know - for I have lead one."

Terry McGinnis (867) has posed:
Batman nods and walks back there, "I cna handle that," he says as he gets to it and nods, "Why you have hellp and ask on things," he states as he begin to hack the computer database and copy the files. "We'll get the info you need, then you can destroy it," he states to her. "But Lex has backup of backups knowing him."
