Date of Scene: 04 August 2014
Location: Spira(AOA)
Synopsis: Dinner with Blurr, Auron, and Kotone Yamikawa
Cast of Characters: Bahamut, Blurr, 236, Kotone Yamakawa

Bahamut has posed:
Since he is such a gracious host, Bahamut has extended an invitation to any who wish to accept it. When the others arrive, they would find a young woman dressed in what appears to be a religious vestment, but in a strange combination of yellow-greens, brown-reds, and silver trim. She greets each guest as they enter, then motions toward the main room where several chairs have been set around a large chair that can only be described as a throne.

When they enter the large main room, Bahamut is waiting. The tall dragon has his arms crossed over his chest in a rather confident pose, and is smirking lightly as he watches each being enter. "Welcome to Bevelle Temple. Please show respect while you are here. It is not only a temple, it is also my home."

Blurr has posed:
Blurr happened to be scouting nearby, and he heard the invitation so he figured he might as well stop by and make some friends. And in his business, friends equal connections, and connections are good things when it comes to information warfare.

And it's nice when a place is big enough for him to actually come inside, which is often not the case for him. And he doesn't even have to duck! The speedster nods politely toward the large reptilian, though he isn't quite as large as the Autobot himself. "Thanks for the invite, Bahamut is it?"

Auron (236) has posed:
After having seen the introduction video for the obviously Spiran Bahamut, Auron was curious. So of course he's going to take the Aeon up on his offer. The Aeons were gone in his Spira. So he's curious to know how the Aeons are still in /this/ Spira, after Yuna sent the Fayth.

However, he's not taking any chances. He didn't want some /other/ version of himself blamed for what he might do here. Besides, if this was also after the end of Sin, then the Auron of this world would be dead too. No sense in causing a panic.

So here, as he would be in his own world, Auron is wearing his brick red hooded robe and light gray scarf to hide what the robe does not. He does have his sword, however, in a gray sheath. But he's not the only person in Spira that uses Katanas, so it shouldn't be too terribly identity-revealing.

He is polite as he is shown in by the woman, though he takes care not to show his face or speak just yet. He instead offers a nod of thanks to the woman. And to Blurr and Kotone as well! When he's brought before Bahamut, he looks around. "...Is it safe here?" he inquires. He doesn't want to show who he is unless he's sure no one's going to let it slip.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa is a bit later in arriving to the temple she's tkaing a lkook about before she's greeted.

"Hello I heard the call and well I admit I'm curious."

She looks about wondering about this place she looks to Blurr and says

"Good to see your not bleeding, big guy."

Their host gets a look from Kotone and adds "Yes thank you for the invite."

Bahamut has posed:
Bahamut nods to Blurr, giving him a look over before chuckling. "You will fit in perfectly here." he says with a grin, then looks to the others. "I am Bahamut, yes. And yes, it is safe here. I was once an Al Bhed, so this temple is the most accepting and secure simply because it has to be. If it were not, I would not return. And the priests here accept that, if a bit begrudgingly."

When Kotone appears, Bahamut nods to her. "It is my pleasure." he says in his deep, rumbling voice. He then motions toward the chairs. "Please, take a seat if you wish. And do not forget to introduce yourselves. It is impolite not to give your names." he says, then looks at Blurr again. "I was not expecting a visitor my size." he says before claiming his own seat. As he sits, the priestess from earlier appears, carrying a large tray of appetizers. "Please, have as many as you would like." she says to the visitors. Of course, these appetizers are for people. They might not work for Cybertronians.

Blurr has posed:
"Nice to meet you, Bahamut. It's Blurr." The speedster nods, and sits down on the floor with a distinctive -CLANK-. "So, Al Bhed? What is that, exactly?"

He glances down at Kotone, and nods to her as well. "Yeah, and good to see you're not trying to kill yourself by interfacing with an alien system you know basically nothing about." he smirks, then glances at the tray of appetizers, though they are definitely not 'appetizing' to him. "Uhm...no thanks."

Auron (236) has posed:
With Bahamut's assurance that the place is safe, Auron nods. Then he reaches up, and begins to pull at his scarf. However, he pauses as the priestess comes back in. Once she's left again, he finally pulls the scarf away and pushes his hood back. Yup, it's Auron under there. He does give a cursory glance around, though.

He offers a respectful bow to Bahamut. The instructions to introduce himself are indeed followed, and he offers, "My name is Auron." The introduction serves to, well, introduce him to Blurr as well, whom he doesn't know well yet. He does, however, blink as Bahamut mentions his former status as an Al Bhed. "You were Al Bhed once?" he inquires. He can't help but smirk. "It must have sent the priests into a conniption fit when you became an Aeon."

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa says "I'm Kotone Yamakawa I'm a mechanic of sorts I amdit I'm not so much as I used to be I admit. Also It's good to meet you and what's an Al Bhed if I might ask?"

She looks back to Blurr for a moment.

"It was that or let you bleed out, What can I say."

She readch for some of the food and starts to mucnh on it.

Bahamut has posed:
Bahamut takes the entire tray after everyone else has made their selections, then dismisses the priestess. He holds the tray in one large clawed hand and carefully picks up appetizers in his other. With such large claws, he has to handle them like tweezers to pick up the small food items.

He promptly drops the one he's managed to pick up when Auron introduces himself. "Sir Auron! I.." He clears his throat, then chuckles. "I was unaware the other Spira still contained you. I hope you and your friends fared well since the destruction of Sin. I have not heard of Yuna and her Guardians here since Sin was destroyed. They have kept out of the spotlight.

After a bit of gushing, Bahamut looks over at Blurr. "So, what are you? Obviously some kind of machine, but you seem...more like a person. Were you created by someone?"

Bahamut raises an eyebrow when Kotone mentions she is a mechanic and has worked on Blurr. "Really? I am a rather accomplished machinist myself. But, it is hard to work with these large claws when the tools and the jobs require minute movements."

Blurr has posed:
"Well..." Blurr sighs, deciding it was best not to argue right now. "I'm just glad you're okay, now. But it was crazy risky, and it isn't something you should try to do again any time soon, if at all."

He looks back at Bahamut, who still hasn't answered the question of what an Al Bhed is, but he explains himself anyway. "Who says a machine can't be a person?" he chuckles. "I was created by someone, yeah. I mean weren't we all? Most organics are created by their biological parents."

Auron (236) has posed:
Auron shakes his head to the meniton of whether Spira 'contains' him. "It does not. My time there has passed. I visit it only in disguise, as 'Guardian'." As for Yuna staying out of the spotlight? He nods. "It's understandable," he replies. "The Church in my Spira has tried to bring her back. With the High Summoner who brought the Eternal Calm on their side, they could regain the power they've lost. They might try that here, too."

Oddly he seems... embarrassed at the gushing. So much that he takes that opportunity to look away. He concentrates on the question of what an Al Bhed is. "The Al Bhed are a desert-dwelling people in Spira. They're recognizeable by their swirled-pupil green eyes. When all of Spira followed the teachings of Yevon that decried machina, the Al Bhed chose to use them anyway. For that they were exiled to Bikanel island."

Bahamut has posed:
Bahamut chuckles at Blurr. "I suppose you are right, but that is not quite the same thing. Two biological parents do not build their child consciously. But, a robot is generally built purposely by someone who knows what they are doing. But, it is not too outlandish to suggest that you were somehow born like a biological being."

Bahamut grins when Auron explains what an Al Bhed is, then rumbles in amusement. "Yes. The priests were...unhappy to learn where I came from. But, they had to accept it, since there were still powerful fiends to fight and the faithful of Yu Yevon still need protection, as do all those not brainwashed by that corrupt organization. The high priests still look at me as a heretic, but they accept me because I am endowed with the 'holy' spirit of Bahamut. To destroy or even shun me would be blasphemy in itself to them." He grins even more broadly. "I cannot say that I do not enjoy this situation."

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa says "There's a guild I hear of who founder is a dragon and a mechanic and inventor or was. Izzit I think? You should contact them they might have tools you can make use of." S
She takes note and listen to the information on the Al Bhed.

"Wait their eyes can work that...heh"

She looks back to Blurr for a moment.

"I did have a dummy barrier on those are used to protect someone on a risky dive. I don't plan to do that again no."

Blurr has posed:
"Oh, um. Well I guess, if you thought of it that way." Blurr shrugs. "I was built for racing, initially. But being fast has a lot of uses beyond entertainment, as it would turn out." He grins, looking down at Kotone again. "Well, good. I don't I could have ever let it go if you'd died or something."

"So, most of your world rejected machines because it was against their religion?" What kind of religion said people couldn't use machines? Primus, he's heard it all.

Auron (236) has posed:
Auron frowns at the mention of 'the faithful of Yu Yevon'. He remains quiet for a long moment, though he looks like he wants to say something. Even if he's seriously considering the wisdom of speaking up. Then he finally seems to mentally square his shoulders.

    And asks his question.

"...Is Yevon different in this world, then?" he inquires. "In my Spira, Yevon was the source of Sin. It was Yevon's doing that brought Sin to Spira, and the teachings were a lie that kept Spira bound in an endless spiral of death. Three of the four Maesters of Yevon were Unsent, believing that the dead could rule Spira better than the living."

This part might answer Blurr, too. "Yevon hated machina, because it was what destroyed Zanarkand. So when he created Sin, one of its instructions was to destroy any machina it found. Whenever Spirans used machina a great deal, Sin would come, and destroy it."

Bahamut has posed:
Bahamut doesn't really have to answer Blurr thanks to Auron. "And because of that religion and my people's belief that machina were not evil and Yu Yevon was not a savior, we were exiled to Bikanel Island, as Auron said." Then he looks to Auron and shakes his head. "No. He was the source of Sin. More the heart of Sin. And even after Sin was destroyed, along with Yu Yevon, and the Maesters were revealed to be Unsent, some continued to believe. Do not misunderstand. The vast majority of people in Spira no longer follow the ways of Yevon, but there were some very devout followers left. Most were mere acolytes when Sin was destroyed. The high priests abandoned the faith for the most part, and the church holds no real power anymore. But, even after the Maesters were sent, some people refused to believe that Yevon was to blame. So, the church still exists. But, the living now lead the world, rather than the dead."

Kotone's comment makes Bahamut perk in interest. "I see. I will have to do that." he says, then grins and leans toward Kotone. "Yes, our eyes can work like that." he says as he leans toward her, close enough that the spirals within his own eyes can be seen. "They are the only aspect of my former self that remains in this new form."

Blurr has posed:
Blurr listens intently to the history of this particular planet, filing in away in his memory banks for later. He arches an optic ridge at Bahamut once he's finished, though. "Former self? So you used to be something else? You get a new body or something?"

Auron (236) has posed:
Auron nods. "Yevon -- the man -- made a mistake," he says quietly. "I do not hate him. I pity him. To have lost so much, it must have driven him insane." He remembers how he felt after losing Braska and Jecht; he can't imagine the feeling of losing an /entire city/ the size of Zanarkand before Sin had destroyed it. And he couldn't be blamed for the Church and his daughter's behavior afterwards.

He quiets then, to hear the answer to Blurr's question. He has a couple more of his own, but he'll wait on those. Biggest bomb has already been dropped so nothing else should be a huge issue.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa says "Must be strange to be built with a purpose. Humans spend most of their lives trying to find one and most never do."

She looks to Blurr.

"In some ways most of me's already dead. Well to be fair I'm aware of some places that have outlawed AI creation due to uprising and there are AI's out there intent to end all flesh."

She takes some more notes and listens for a moment.

"Sounds like things really god messed up with this Church. I mena my world's had relgious issues sure. Nothing so insane as the dead ruling the living."

Bahamut has posed:
Bahamut chuckles at Blurr. "Yes. An Al Bhed is a human. I apologize if that was not clear. I was transformed when the Fayth of Bevelle infused me with his power before departing to the Farplane. The afterlife." he explains.

"You are very knowledgable, Sir Auron." Bahamut says, bowing his head respectfully. "I am afraid the history of Yevon is not one of my strong suits. All I needed to know about Yevon was that his religion was false and that he was needlessly sending summoners to their deaths simply to support himself. A truth which destroyed the people's faith in the church when Yuna returned from Sin. As I recall..." Bahamut pauses, then shakes his head. "It is not important. But, our Auron and Tidus did not return from the battle with Sin. It is good to see that you made it in your world."

Bahamut nods to Kotone. "The Church of Yevon definitely messed up our world." he says, then blinks. "Wait, what do you mean most of you is dead? Are you some sort of unsent?"
