This Will Be The Day
Date of Scene: 06 June 2016
Location: Remnant <REM>
Synopsis: Vale will be hosting the Vytl Festival this time around. But before the event can begin, there are some missions that need doing, preparations to be made, and new Multiversal Huntsmen and Huntresses to inaugurate.
Cast of Characters: Tomoe, 385, 675, 778, Yuuki Konno, 876, Yang Xiao Long, 910, 917, 922, Kushiko

Yang Xiao Long has posed:
    Beacon Academy, Ampetheatre.

Professor Ozpin is standing on the stage, raised a few steps above the rest of the gathered humans and faunus. Those who frequent the Academy would notice the different uniforms of some of the groups. Four sets total, including the Vale students who're gathering in a collective.

Atlas students stand with military discipline, their uniforms gleaming white with grey undertones, looking more like military dress than school uniform.

Vacuo doesn't seem to have a dresscode, their students wearing comfortable, combat ready gear at all times, making them look pretty rag-tag and disorganized.

Mistral's uniform consists of pleated checker-pattern skirts and dress blazers for the girls, and proper dress suits for the men, done in black, with white and grey trims. They stand with a purpose, but less rigidly than Atlas.

And finally, Vale. The dark brown blazers, blue vests, red ties and white blouses and shirts, along with almost tartan pattern skirts for the girls striking against the other uniforms.

Ozpin speaks firmly. "Today we stand together. United. But this bond cannot exist without effort. So today, while the rest of the world celebrates peace. Huntsmen and Huntresses will work to uphold it." He gestures in a sweeping arc. Diases raising around the perimeter of the room. "As first year students, and Extraversal members coming in from our new friends in the Multiverse, you will be shadowing a Huntsman or Huntress on a mission. Some of you will venture outside the safety of the kingdom for several days, others may work within the walls for the rest of the week. But no matter which path you choose. Remember to be safe. Remember your training, and remember to do your very best."

Muted applause accompanies the Professer stepping off the stage, and the various groups mingle and scatter to the holographic diases. Missions of various types are displayed. Location, mission type, and expected threat level. Using a Scroll, teams can apply for a mission, those who have joined from outside of Remnant, would have been issued with one for working with Remnant technology.

Kushiko has posed:
There is a peculiar sight, depending on perspective.

A pair of figures; technically a trio but one of them is more quadrupedal if still pretty damn big. And mercifully not something that could be confused for a Grimm.

The first is Valkyr, the feline-like Warframe. She's armed, a trio of weapons attached by magnetic points behind her, syandana flowing lightly behind her, her tail flicking slightly behind her as she and her companions meander through the crowd.

The second is Mag Prime; whilst she does bear decidedly more human-like shape in that sleek, bodysuit-looking outer layer, the cyclopean features accompanied by that nebula-like starscape within the dome of her helmet paints an odd picture.

The only figure that doesn't radiate that cold, calculating silence is the damn near /monstrously/ sized Huras Kubrow. An odd-looking, beautiful pattern of black and purple fur marks the batlike snout with what happens to be the Lotus' sigil. Mind, the same black and purple colorations--with a hint of lavender when it came to the energy lines--were what characterized both, save for the ruthenium-gilding upon parts of Mag Prime's alloys.

Curiosity had seemingly brought the pair here, for all they actually volunteered; Yang would probably recognize Valkyr at least, the Berserker, and after they synced up their own technologies to interface with that of the Scrolls here, they had simply elected, for the time being, to observe, to mill about. To allow the reactions of others to judge them, though occasionally Mag Prime gave a little gesture to the Kubrow.

That brought Kiras over for a light little scritching, the five-foot tall dog giving a contented little *wuff* and at the least, demonstrating that said... doglike /thing/ was extremely well trained, obediently close to it's mistresses.

Nerevarine (876) has posed:
Surely an example to native Remnant residents of how strange the Multiverse is, there stands within the ampitheatre a man clad in gold-leaf armor. It is a far cry from the school uniforms, as is the mace tied to his waist and the shield at his side. The armor seems to draw influence from a variety of cultures, or perhaps just one, very alien culture. Either way, the armor and the helmet's bright plumed mohawk catch the eye. He must not be one for socializing, at least, not one to initiate it--he makes the rounds, as if someone told him he should go out and spend time with people despite a preference for solitude. Eventually he finds something to occupty his attention, that being one of the holographic displays. He crosses his arms and observes it, hoping not to attract too much attention.

Ruby Rose (910) has posed:
Wearing the appropriate attire for a Vale student, Ruby listens to Ozpin's speech, offering appropriate applause as it ends. She pulls out her scroll and moves over to a slightly less crowded area of the auditorium, carefully examining and reading each of the available missions. As team leader, it was her job to be the most thorough with whatever assignment they chose, as there appeared to be quite a few that looked to be dangerous.

Nothing they couldn't handle, but dangerous all the same.

She muses to herself as she reads, tapping a finger against her chin every now and again. "This one's just...no-no-no...not that one. Hmm...this one is...sort of okay but there's gotta be one perfect one for us."

Tomoe has posed:
Tomoe is here in the form of Eisen, which is the one she normally takes when she's going to Becon or deploying on hunts against the Grimm. She understand they got a job to do and she seems to be taking it seriously as it looks lime missions are going to be issed shortly. She blows one errant strand of red hair out of her eyes and contiunes to focus on the headmaster and what he has to say.

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
Cirra Constantine actualyl belnds in a little better here then some of the other guest atendees, Alexander Academy is very similar in style and structure to Beacon, and Cirra's uniform is only off from Beacon's in that it has a red shoulder sash instead of gold trim.

Appluading polietly as Ozpin finishes his speach, Cirra stands up and walks towards the boards, consulting the Scroll she was given as well as her own Toneberry from Galandia. "I wish these worked together properly." she looks through the mission lists for anything needing an Associate Huntress. It's a good thing this gets her credit at Alexander too.

Blake Belladonna (917) has posed:
Blake appears next to Ruby, peering over her shoulder down at her scroll as her team leader starts grumping about the assignments.

"I don't think there's 'one perfect mission.'" She says, her voice soft. "Not when we have such a range of combat skills and talents. Just find the one that's the most important that you think we can do that's a challenge but won't get us killed, then pick that one." That is a slightly Yang-ish sort of thinking, but who can blame the faunus?

Yang Xiao Long has posed:
Yang appears on the other side of Ruby from Blake. "Yeah, don't stress over it. We'll be with a totally legit Huntsman too!" she offers, slapping the shorter, more slender brunette on the back goodnaturedly, before looking over at Blake. "Never figured you'd say something like that though, Blake." she offers, grinning happily. "Kinda like it."

Yuna Kagurazaka (385) has posed:
Yuna arrived just a little late - Ozpin was already speaking, which forced the petite blonde to try and sidle around the back to join the other Vale students - but she managed not to draw too much attention ... she hopes. She really didn't want to miss anything, but her manager had scheduled something back on Fraulein Earth that ran later than Yuna thought it would ...

Oh well. She's here now, that's the important part.

Yuna listens attentively to Ozpin's address, nodding slightly as he underscores the theme of togetherness. It actually brings a slightly wistful look to her face, but she listens to the end, joining in the quiet applause, then relaxes enough to look around the amphitheater. "Huh ... Elner," she asks the robo-faerie quietly, "am I the only member of Team KYTL here?"

"That appears to be the case," Elner concurs. "Should I send a call out to the others?"

Yuna shakes her head. "I'll check in with them later or something ..." She makes a face; that pretty much means she has to be the one to pick a mission without the rest of her team to consult, doesn't it?

For now, she pulls her Scroll out and makes her way towards the holodisplays with the mission selections. She does notice Cirra, giving the Alexander student a quick wave and a smile; the Tenno contingent actually brings her up short for a moment, before she recognizes the Warframes and gives the three of them a polite bow. She doesn't stop to make conversation, though - she needs to look over missions ...

Not that she's the first one. "Hey, Ruby, Blake, Yang!" she greets three-fourths of Team RWBY. "Any idea what you're going to pick, yet?"

Weiss Schnee (922) has posed:
Weiss steps forth from behind Blake, crossing her arms and looking the mission board up and down. "I have to agree with Blake here," she evaluates. "Let's not worry too much about finding the 'perfect' one for us. We should focus on what'll do the most good, right? And what's in our skill range. It's a simple evaluation of risk and reward." She leans forward a bit and turns her head to Ruby. "Besides, we will have a Huntsman with us, like Yang said. We'll most likely do fine as long as we pick the most logical choice."

Ruby Rose (910) has posed:
Ruby Rose looks around towards the taller girls looking over her scroll and shakes her head a little bit. "But there's so many to choose from. One that is a good challenge for first years is...eh?"

She stops what she's doing as she overhears her name being called, tossing out a wide, happy wave towards Yuna. She shakes her head towards the question. "Nah, not just yet. There's so much to choose from! Guarding, to search and rescue, to search..and...destroy?" Ruby pulls up one mission in particular and tilts her head towards it. "Huh. This one sounds good. We'll be with someone as a search and destroy but...there's going to be alot of grim there. A whole lot of grim."

A brief pause.

"Sounds perfect. I'mma go for it."

Yuuki Konno has posed:
Yuuki, dressed quite fashionably in a Beacon uniform, peers around Leeroy and Tom, the two local members of TEYL. "I don't care what assignment we get." she announces to Eisen. "Just as long as we aren't stuck sitting around! We get a break from classrooms and I want to make the most of it!" she insists, grinning. "Though ... uh, guarding quests are usually kinda frustrating too, you know?"

Kushiko has posed:
A slight nod of assent is given in Yuna's direction from the faceless visage of Valkyr. Mag Prime's hand was outstretched, mostly for the purposes of generating her own holodisplay and surveying some of the information coming in and out.

Odd looks aside at least.

Eventually, the Warframe pair plus Kubrow meander their way towards some of the other displays, the Tenno pair occasionally canting their respective heads towards the members of the different contingents.

Towards Yang and her team; they had heard about that, but other than coming to slaughter a lot of Grimm that time, and Yang helping out with a few operations in the Origin System, there hadn't been yet a great deal of interaction.

Of course, were it not for the giant dog of theirs, one might suspect there wasn't something vaguely alive there, given the synthetic fibrous and metallic armoring encasing the female figures as they perused this 'Hunter'. Shadowing another hunter or huntress would be good solely for understanding how this world worked after all.

Extermination and seeking and destroys seemed to be what they were surveying once they were at one of those stations near the others.

Yang Xiao Long has posed:
Yang grins at the others on her Team. "Right, I'll leave it in Ruby's hands. I trust her judgement." she says. Waving to Yuna, then to the Warframes, the blonde turns and wanders off to go mingle in the crowd, eventually turning up beside the Dunmer. "Hey dude, whatchya doin' over here all on your own?" she asks Nerevarine. "Name's Yang, nice t'meetchya." she says, offering a hand to shake.

Tomoe has posed:
Tomoe doesn't take too long to find Yuuki, whom for note would find Tomoe is in the form of Esisen and she seems to be in good spirits as she catchus up with the rest of her team.

"So we're getting more than just busting Grim outbreaks, this should be interesting, don't you think Yuuki?"

Nerevarine (876) has posed:
The gilded face on Talis' helmet seems to have a perfect expression for data-trawling. Perhaps in his day, the elf for whom the helmet was made had a great deal of paperwork to peruse through. He looks up from the scroll device, the glow reflecting softly on his helmet. "I needed to get out and socialize," he says, and /wow/ is his voice raspy. We're talking sandpaper and gravel here, along with whatever regional accent that is. "The name's Talis. Sir Talis Indoril." He shakes hands with Yang, a firm and steady grip.

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
Cirra nods to Yuna as she passes by and walks to the other side of the holographic column. "Maybe I should post an offer as an asociate huntress instead?" She hmmns to herself.

She continues to apparently brows the boards, but uses the transparent holograms to let her observe the two Tenno and their beast . Not that it's unusual to have a war hound. She's fairly certin a few regular members of Beacon have such.

Yuna Kagurazaka (385) has posed:
"Search and destroy, huh ... hey Weiss, how're you doing?" Yuna smiles, actually offering a polite bow to the Schnee heiress rather than just a casual wave. "Sounds like that won't leave you bored, at any rate ..."

She trails off, pursing her lips and thinking about what her teammates have to offer. All of them are fighters to at least some extent, with Kyra pulling double duty as a medic type (thanks to that healing rifle she totes around). She doesn't know exactly what capabilities Terry's suit gives him - well, she knows some: flight, stealth, some integrated weapons and maybe some strength enhancement. As for Lloyd, he's a swordsman with some magic (excuse me, Artes) he can use in battle, plus he can fly.

Then there's Yuna's own range of options - although thinking about that prompts her to glance at Elner. "I'll have the whole Matrix of Light to work with for this mission, right?"

"Of course," replies the robo-faerie. "This *will* be an actual mission in the field, even if it doubles as a lesson or a test."

Yuna nods. So she'll be able to switch to Powered, Marine, or Flight Form if the need presents itself. With that in mind, she continues looking over the boards - now with something specific in mind: a search-and-rescue mission, preferably one with a chance of having to rescue people from Grimm (as opposed to, say, natural hazards ... or do Grimm count as natural?). She'd much rather at least touch base with her teammates before she signs off on something like that, but if Yuna has to make the decision on her own, then she will. She's sure it's something Team KYTL can handle, in any case.

Yang Xiao Long has posed:
Yang takes that grip and grips back, just as firm. She might even make the armour creak a little. "Well, socializin's good for ya." she replies. "Gonna apply for the Associate Hunter liscense? These kinda things can be used for the vetting process."

The blonde lets go and plants her fists on her hips, grinning happily. "It's nice to see more folks from off-world stopping by. We could use all the help we can get, if I'm honest."

Ruby Rose (910) has posed:
Ruby Rose selects the search and destroy mission and enters in her team's initials. As soon as she does though, a *BzzT* noise comes from the scroll's speaker. Red text pops up, reading 'Unavailable to first year students." Ruby looks immediately disappointed. "Awww come on! That one is actually perfect!"

Kyle Katarn (778) has posed:
"About that. I know I might be a bit old, but there any chance you could help me out with the applications as well?" asks Kyle Katarn, the grizzled Jedi walking onto the scene. He grins, clapping Yang on the shoulder before he gives Cirra, Tomoe, Talis, and others a nod in greeting.

Despite himself, he can't help but stare at the canine Kubrow, as well as the paired Warframes. Seems like the Lotus' Tenno Operative is here too. "Hey there, big fella..." He kneels over, peeling off his glove before offering his knuckle to the Kubrow to sniff. That's how to interact with a dog, right?

Yuuki Konno has posed:
With her opinions made known on the missions, Yuuki slips away to socialize. She's not exactly super-stealthy. Actually she isn't at all stealthy. Her stride's way too bouncy even when she's just walking unless she's in actual combat mode.

This makes it rather unlikely she'll be able to sneak up on Weiss. She doesn't really try, just comes up behind the white-haired swordgirl and throws her arms wide, trying to bring them around the heiress. "Snowflake!" she calls out cheerfully, whether she successfully glomps or not.

Nerevarine (876) has posed:
"I might," admits Talis. "Some of this isn't too different from what I'm used to." Indeed, there's always work to be found for strong hands. He looks down at the scroll, then back up at Yang. "If I sign up for one of these, do I get matched up to a team? I need to get out and be more useful."

Weiss Schnee (922) has posed:
Weiss tsks and takes a step back, her arms still crossed in classic Schnee fashion. "Well, that's probably for a good reason, Ruby. You'll find another - just don't make any rash decisions, okay?" She turns to Yuna and gives a small bow in response. "I'm doing quite alright, thanks, and I doubt any choice of Ruby's could leave us bored. For better or worse."

Just as she turns to go snark at someone else, she hears footsteps approaching from behind, giving her a moment to spin around before she's pounced upon by Yuuki. Her eyes widen in surprise as she stumbles back a bit, having Yang flashbacks. "Hi Yuuki nice to see you too please stop touching me NOW," she manages to say.

Yang Xiao Long has posed:
Yang nods. "Yeah, see here?" she points to a bit on the Scroll's overlay. "If a Team selects this mission, their Team Name appears here. They're then assigned to a Huntsman or Huntress, and any extant Applicant or Associate Hunters that applies will get a choice to accept or reject any given mission they've applied for." she helpfully explains... and then Kyle comes up and claps her on the shoulder, making her oof slightly before she digs him in the arm in return. "Hey you. Sure, you still have that Scroll I gave ya?"

Kushiko has posed:
The reaction of the Huras Kubrow in response to Kyle Katarn's presence, owing solely due to a certain former Imperial Pilot can be summarized as the following:

            STARE.

More to the point, the fairly sizable animal tilts her head slightly, nostrils of that batlike snout flaring a little bit. Ears sweeping back and forth a little bit before seemingly permitting the scruffy looking nerfherder any further closing in.

Valkyr, on the other hand, opens up a secondary information link; mostly to link the Lotus in. While the Tenno is being coy with names, there's just a modest bit of information sendoff to Ozpin and theirs. Enough that the Academy would know there's a certain ability to trust that's plausible.

And, to a lesser extent, an interest in having more or less a licenese to hunt down Grimm here from time to time. One could accuse the Tenno Operative of seeking it for sport, but it's more akin to wanting certain challenges and to expand their knowledge of the 'verse at large.

She also might be looking at the Search and Destroy mission Ruby might have been looking at, given the complaint voiced. Mag Prime on the other hand, the oddly regal-seeming 'frame (hard not to, given the Orokin-alloyed suit) lets lavender energy dance between her fingertips. Electromagnetic energy, as she watches both Kyle and some of the others moving back and forth.

Knowledge is power after all.

Yuna Kagurazaka (385) has posed:
"Hey Yuuki," Yuna greets the recent birthday girl, detouring from her perusal of the mission boards to give Yuuki either a handshake, a hair-tousle, or a quick hug. Unlike SOME ojousama types, Yuna has no compunctions about hugging someone (or being hugged) in public.

Weiss's appraisal of the chances of boredom in regards to Ruby's mission selections, by (sort of) contrast, have Yuna looking briefly at Ruby, then nodding to Weiss and smiling. "Quite possibly ... well, it doesn't look like most of these missions would be 'boring' per se."

She pauses, double-checking her Scroll. "And I saw one mission that looked promising for my team, but that one's already booked for Team SCLE." The face she makes isn't so much 'sad' as 'slightly miffed and a little frustrated'. "Wonder if there's anything else along those lines ..."

Blake Belladonna (917) has posed:
Blake pats Ruby on the shoulder. It's the most physical contact that she gives the rose-type ever.

The faunus then blends into the crowd of people, heading for no one in particular. Blake doesn't particularly do parties.

Yuuki Konno has posed:
"Sure thing." Yuuki says to Weiss with a complete lack of apology in her voice. Yuuki's got no personal space awareness whatsoever, and no taboo about touching either. She's nice though, and perfectly willing to honor her friend's request. She releases Weiss, though still standing well within arms-reach of her.

And yes, she has no qualms whatsoever about touching Yuna either, grinning happily at the headpat. Her hairstyle is just about immune to ruffling... while it can be made messy, it resets itself at the first opportunity.

Kyle Katarn (778) has posed:
Kyle's sensed Tenno before, and so he can definitely feel that weird Void energy tingling the back of his neck. It's very alien, unlike anything he's sensed in the Force before. Same applies to Kiras, and he remains in front of the Kubrow before he gives her a pet on the head. "Good dog." He smiles, before idly reaching for Kiras's neck to find tags or something along those lines. See? Kyle's good with dogs! Even if they're more like bat dogs or something.

He also hasn't entirely forgotten why he's here, as he shoots Yang a nod and grin. "Yeah, still do. I know I might be a bit old for Beacon though, and I got enough schoolwork as it is." He laughs, giving Kiras a scratching on her ears. Good doggeh.

Yang Xiao Long has posed:
Professor Ozpin appears near to Ruby... wait, where'd he come from? "Is there a problem, Miss Rose?" he asks, taking a sip from his coffee cup. "Ah, yes, that mission was deemed to hazardous for first year students due to much higher than normal Grimm activity." he explains, then casts a glance across the others. "However, knowing your... reputation, especially with certain liberties taken by members of your group, I believe I can bend the rules, just this once." he tapes the screen, entering his login which unlocks the mission, and assigns it to Team RWBY. "However, do not thank me for this. Your teamwork and determination have carried you well thusfar, but what you will encounter outside the safety of the kingdom, will not care. Stay close to your Huntsman, he is in charge of your mission and he /can/ send you back to Beacon should he find your skills to be unsatisfactory." He then wafts away into the crowd again, but pops back up to give a final. "Oh, and, Good Luck." before he's gone like a ghost once more.

Nerevarine (876) has posed:
"Good," he says with a nod. Talis searches for and accepts an extermination mission, navigating the electronic interface with surprising ease for someone from a world like his. With that done, he puts it away so that he can fully concentrate on those in his immediate surroundings. It's hard to say what his expression is beneath the helmet, but judging by his body language, it's more personable. "Hmm..." The elf takes a look around. "I think I... should head outside and get some air. I haven't been around this many people in a while."

Kushiko has posed:
"We should question what it is about her that provokes such odd activity."

That voice doesn't necessarily come /from/ the Warframe, but it's felt on the Void energy (that Kyle can identify) while for all nominal appearences, seemingly like it's being spoken of from Mag Prime.

Now, as it comes to tags, the 'collar' is more of an attachment, a creseted thing that is nestled against the fur. Closer inspection better reveals that the beast does wear armor from time to time, but in a situation like this, the armor is not worn. Nor a saddle, despite how big she is she is not a ride.

Probably.

Ahem. It is, however, the moment that Kiras realizes that Kyle is reaching towards the Kavasa collar attached below the neck. And that's when she sortof recoils; not so much hostile but defensively, the dog suddenly /phasing out of existence/ and then the next thing Kyle realizes---

--is being flat on the ground with about 300 pounds of powerful weight bearing down on him, the distortion of light framing the Huras Kubrow before she phases back out.

"--please do not touch her collar. That contains her genetic information and is part of her bond to us." that same voice remarks, though she seems utterly unconcerned about Kyle's sudden reposition.

Kyle Katarn (778) has posed:
Kyle is about to answer, looking towards where he heard the voice. "Oh. Well. Uh, it's just that your animal looks kind of li-OOF!"

Suddenly he is interrupted by 300 pounds of weight smooching him, and he struggles helplessly underneath Kiras's haunches. "AUgh! Pffht! I'll keep that under advisement..." He says, looking more than a bit distracted from the matter of Hunting Licenses at the moment unfortunately. At least the Kubrow isn't mauling him though, that would be...unpleasant.

Ruby Rose (910) has posed:
Ruby Rose overhears a very familiar voice as she turns up to look towards Kyle and passes him a wave, the jedi being one of the first multiverse people she met. Turning back down to her scroll, she tries signing up for the mission again, shooting a side glance towards Weiss.

"Well I don't know maybe we can talk to someone about it and..."

A touch from Blake gets a nod of approval from Ruby, allowing her to try to sign up once more. Just before she does though, Ozpin shows up in his normal ghost-like self and delivers his second speech of the evening. Ruby listens and nods. "Oh thank you, thank you, thank you Professor, we won't let you down!"

With that done, she checks the status of the mission and sees that her team is all signed up and ready to go; and that they'd be leaving tonight. Ruby's brows crease. "That's taken care of. I guess we leave tonight? We should get packing here before too long."

Kushiko has posed:
And just as quickly as the hunting Kubrow had leapt and pinned, did she pad her way off, looking absolutely pleased with herself as Mag reaches around and scritches and ruffles that neckfur before giving her a hug, earning a whine of contentment from the batdog.

Hmmm. Perhaps one of these 'Team' things of four persons might be something they'll toy with at some point, Kushiko might muse from her Orbiter so far away from the place.

Kyle Katarn (778) has posed:
Kyle sputters and tries to brush fur off of him, before he watches Mag and Kiras exchange a hug. "As I was saying...sorry, I couldn't help it. Kind of a dog fan at heart, and Kiras definitely looks the part of most dogs I've seen. Still not sure how to talk with you guys sometimes, sorry." he says, picking himself up. "Guess I underestimated how heavy she was gonna be."

Tomoe has posed:
Tomoe looks to weiss for a moment then back to Yuuki nd stares for a moment at her then to Weiss she looks pretty mortfied abotu this turn of events and she's just at a loss for words. Yuuki may be forgetting what personal space is today it looks like and gives no damns about it either from her tone of voice. It was going to be a long day though the Kubro is spotted as well, damn that that qwas a thing.

Kushiko has posed:
"You can start with, 'hello'. We don't bite."

Valkyr on the other hand offers wryly, "She will, however," returning to the other Tenno's side. "Of course, that's if you're a foe. You're the scraggly-bearded one we've heard about." Courtesy of one Juno Eclipse.

Still, without a need to quite help him up, Valkyr merely evaluates, that eyeless look potentially rather unnerving for a moment. "We have been curious about how you and those like you. We were told to perhaps seek you out." And maybe give no end to hell to, but surely not, right?

"... beard's not so bad," Mag concludes.

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
Pausing browsing the boards as the alien animal phases in and out of existance. How terribly interesting. Watching Kyle get bowled over is at least somewhat amusing aswell.

Cirra posts her position as an Associate Huntress to the board, someone will pick it up.

Weiss Schnee (922) has posed:
Weiss looks down and pats her uniform straight, letting out a sigh. "Thank you. How've you been, Yuuki?" She's sure to stay on guard for more surprise affection, occasionally glancing over at her teammates. "Sorry that I was a bit too busy for our last digital excursion," she says apologetically. She turns to Yuna, shrugging her shoulders a bit. "Fair enough, but I don't doubt her ability to find something that will somehow get us all in some form of horrible peril." She's once again taken off-guard as Ozpin appears behind her, making an exception to the rules just for them and vanishing just as easily. "...Like that."

Yuuki Konno has posed:
One of the things Yuuki dislikes is not being close to her friends. She's not really grabby though, at least, so Weiss need not fear being hugged again. Yet. Not from Yuuki at least. "It's no problem Weiss. Hopefully you can make the next one!" she says cheerfully. "I'm doing great!" she adds. For a given value of great anyways. As well as she's ever been at least.

Kyle Katarn (778) has posed:
"Somewhat. I recall you guys helping out on a mission with Juno a while back." Kyle grins with amusement, before he offers a hand to shake to one of the Warframes. "I'm Kyle Katarn, I think we've spoken over the radio once or twice as well. Nice to meet you guys, any friend of Juno's is a friend of mine far as I'm concerned." He says, before nodding.

"Yeah, I've been pretty curious about you Tenno sorts as well, pretty interesting tech to see at work, especially from what I hear." The scruffy one says, folding his arms as he looks over both Valkyr and Mag. "Do these frames have names specifically? I gotta wonder who I'm speaking to right now, Lotus, or them." Or that mysterious Tenno operative for that matter. It's so weird having a conversation with someone that's using more than one body at a time.

Kushiko has posed:
In this, Valkyr offers a talontipped hand out to shake; mercifully it's not necessarily something that will hurt unless she suddenly curled her fingers the wrong way. "Or feel, for that matter, given what we sometimes sense." That 'voice' of course seeming to pulse and emanate from Mag Prime.

And the question of 'names' is rather... well. Interesting. 'Mag Prime' isn't necessarily a name so much as it is a designation, indicating the original prototype of it, or at least the reproduction of it.

"I am Mag. This is Valkyr. There are other elements to these designation, but it is our preference to go by that." A slight pause. "... we are not particularly used to sharing names," Valkyr notes. "You speak to us, and not the Lotus. Past some information to share with this world's authority, she wanted us to... explore, I suppose."

Kyle Katarn (778) has posed:
"Yeah, I've been curious myself." Kyle nods. before he exchanges handshakes to Valkyr. "Nice to meet you both. I imagine you might like meeting Lowri too, if you haven't." He says, then glances to the others. "Remnant is an interesting place alright. Things must be pretty rough if they're teaching students to handle weapons like I've seen. Suddenly lightsabers lose their flash when you have shotgun gauntlets and rifle scythes." He says with a lopsided grin, jerking his thumb to Ruby and Yang.

Yuna Kagurazaka (385) has posed:
"That should do the trick ..." Yuna pokes at her Scroll's screen, nodding as the confirmation message comes up.

And with THAT finally done, she can pocket her Scroll and turn her attention back to social matters. It looks like the amphitheater has emptied out somewhat by now, but there are still some familiar faces around - and she makes her way towards Kyle and the Tenno. "Hey, Kyle! I didn't see you in here earlier ... how's it going?" She gives the Tenno another courteous nod, trying to cover for the fact that she's not sure if she's MET these particular Tenno or not ... she's only been on one mission in their part of the Multiverse, after all, and things were more than a little hectic.

Kushiko has posed:
"Eventually. The nature of your... 'Force' is something we're curious enough about." Tangibility differences aside at least; to say nothing of other elements at play.

"Perhaps. Flexibility perhaps, maybe less flash." As to that remark about teaching students to handle weapons like that, and how 'rough' it must be?

"People do what is necessary," Valkyr remarks. "Still, it is true. This 'Force' you and others have described. Warriors to test one's worth against." That line of thought is interrupted by Yuna's approach.

"Kagurazaka Yuna. We witnessed you among the others upon that Grineer derelict." That affirms that at least, Mag inclining her head ever slightly.

Kyle Katarn (778) has posed:
Kyle raises his eyebrow at Valkyr before he nods. "So a duel, then. I can do that, sure. Might be enlightening, especially with what blade work I remember seeing." He grins, clapping Val on the shoulder cheerfully. "The Force is pretty hard to explain, but I might be better at showing than telling if that makes sense. Name a time and place, I got no issues with either." He gives Yuna a nod, smiling to the idol and magical girl. "Hey Yuna, long time no see. How've you been?" the Jedi wanders over, giving Yuna a friendly handshake.

Kushiko has posed:
Okay. Shoulderpat's a bit... odd, given the way Valkyr's head sortof cants over to the spot on that fibrous-leathery surface of the frame's exoskeleton.

"Something like that," Valkyr remarks, then pauses. "We have our suspicions, but yes... something hard to explain is what we're all about." Oddly, it's beginning to become difficult to suss 'who' is talking.

"Until then. We shall make for a time soon." It would seem the moment of attention that flees either Kyle or Yuna is the moment that the pair, Kubrow included, would vanish from sight.

... well then.

Yuna Kagurazaka (385) has posed:
Yuna nods to Valkyr and Mag, "Yeah, it was kinda hectic. I didn't really get the chance to introduce myself that trip, either ..." She shudders a bit. "Not like the Grineer - or their ships - are all that conducive to social introductions. Anyway - Yuna Kagurazaka, pleased to meet you!"

"And it has been a while, hasn't it?" Yuna nods, turning her attention to Kyle and shaking hands with a smile. "I've been all right; things have been interesting lately. Whole bunch of different missions and adventures ..."

Kyle Katarn (778) has posed:
Kyle nods, "You have no idea. Me, Ren, Karal, Ains, and Kazuko have been helping with this thing over on his world. Some island monsters are causing havoc, so I've been doing my best to help with that mess." He says, before he glances over his shoulder. Huh, the Tenno and their Kubrow left. Creepy how easily they disappear like that.

Yuna Kagurazaka (385) has posed:
Yuna grimaces sympathetically (even as she tries to remember whether she's heard about that situation on the Union network). "Raiding civilian towns off the island or something?"

Kyle Katarn (778) has posed:
"Dunno. They just came right out of the ocean one day when we were at a party and everything just went to hell." Kyle shrugs a shoulder. "I can't claim to understand half of it, just that some kid named Tanya is involved. She's got powers of some kind I can't begin to describe, even if it's mostly untapped potential."
