Synopsis: The Paladins investigate Luke A. Fure's Hobby Emporium on suspicions of shady deals with cursed items, but find it might be more complex than that.
Cast of Characters: Sir Gawain, 367, 1076, 20, 151, 941, Kotone Yamakawa

Sir Gawain has posed:
It's a nice, sunny day today in Hell, Michigan. Technically, it's always a nice sunny day here because the weather wizards at the local news station are working to make the local weather as nice as possible, but still. A city of a few hundred thousand, Hell, Michigan is much like the rest of its Earth-696: it is a city openly accepting of the magical and bizarre, with elves, fairies, angels, and demons noticeable on the streets.

Today, the Paladins are investigating a shop here in Hell. The Paladin Warden, Sir Gawain, bought a set of dice from Luke A. Fure's Hobby Emporium, which were revealed to be cursed. Additionally, the receipt was shady, with a small-print contract written onto it. Concerned if this is violating magical and contract law, a group of Paladins has decided to see what's up with Luke A. Fure's shop. A cornerstore off of a main street, the stylized logo is pretty noticeable over the streetfront, 'Luke A. Fure's Hobby Emporium' written legibly but fashionably. Inside, emporium isn't quite accurate, but close. A large selection of hobby supplies, ranging from models, to tabletop gaming supplies, to lego kits and RC cars line the walls. It's a one-story building, and it's a slow day. There's a small handful of customers and three employees, including the man at the counter, with a nametag reading 'Luke'. A tall, red-skinned man dressed in khaki shorts and a polo shirt, Luke A. Fure has short, thick bone-horns and pitch black eyes, but a business-ready smile.

Yep, he's totally a demon.

Na`Sabal-Une Fang (367) has posed:
Nasa is here! But not at the front door, in fact, the faerie is in her tiny form, in a particularly inconspicuous place: A pocket. Specifically, the pocket of a certain lizard, as was planned before. She's got a small glamour over herself, rendering her difficult to spot visibly, though her glamour doesn't have any ability to mask magical ability, so she's not entirely well hidden. The glamour extends to visual and audial senses however. She murmurs into the radio. <I'm in position and stealth mode is activated.>

Sokka (1076) has posed:
Sokka came running in, holding Toph's hands. His eyes practically GLIMMERED with excitement as he started walking around looking at all the toys. "Toph, look at this! A train set! This universe stuff is so cool. You know, I just started reading about trains, you know. It actually gave me an idea, it's a lot like what the earth kingdom uses, but without the bending, and--"

Within moments he was going on and on and on about the intricinsies of the trains and how they operated and he was actually trying to show her on one of the models how it worked. "You see, this one right here? This would be a steam engine normally but..."

Oh by the stars he was on a roll. And poor Toph was stuck standing by him for ALL of it. So much for being subtle. At least he LOOKED like a real customer. Acted like one, too... and... oddly knew his stuff really well.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
There's no need to act flustered; Toph looks rather bewildered as Sokka drags her in with him into the store. "H-hey, take it easy!"

Rather than wearing her earthbending clothes she's dressed casually: jeans, shirt, satchel over her side... heck, if it weren't for her lack of shoes she might not draw attention. Other than that, she looks like a lot of girls who gets dragged into game stores by their boyfriends. Rather than interrupting Sokka she listens, not really 'looking' at the trains as much as clearly tolerating Sokka's babble. But she realises, that this does make it less suspicious if she just plays along. And uses this as a chance to listen. It's so much easier when it's all real, including the heavy sigh she lets out as Sokka talks about steam engines or whatever.

Her sensitive ears are listening to everything that goes on in the shop, and her feet try to pick up as much as they can. Just what is going on inside the shop...?

Ainsley (151) has posed:
Ainsley has a tiny creature in her pocket. She's wearing the casual form of her Paladin uniform, with her badge on display but her weapons and book not on her. She left those in the car. She's also wearing that coat that Heinkel gave her so that the Michigan weather doesn't kill her on the shop's doorstep. When Ainsley enters the store, she has a smile on her face. She DOES like gaming stores, and she does like adventure and her innate curiosity makes it hard not to be enthusiastic. She knows what she's here to buy, but she goes around the store and calmly inspects all of the gaming supplies. She seems to be reading labels in search for information... such as warning labels about cursed items. She is very careful about not giving away what she's doing, playing at the curious customer side of her very well.

"Hey," she says, looking up and to Luke in the midst of reading the back of a tabletop guide book, "What would you recommend for a party game of about... six?" She does a little handwobble. "I'm looking for something new and interesting." She sets the book down, the temptation set in place for the store owner. She steps up to the counter and smiles to the store owner patiently after this.

Mel Brock (941) has posed:
Under normal circumstances, Mel Brock would be here in her signature longcoat and jumpsuit, but this is a more subtle sort of investigation. So she's here in a pair of comfy, baggy jeans and a sleeveless T-shirt, showing off the wiry muscle of her arms; if she weren't so lanky, she'd have the perfect 'jock' look down. As it is, it's more akin to 'tall, slender nerd that probably does some kind of martial art because it's very foreign and thus very cool'. Especially with that odd strip of technology sticking to her jawline on the right side of her face. Some kind of hands-free comm unit? Probably!

    (no)

She enters the shop shortly after Ainsley does, but unlike Ainsley, the plainclothes Marshal makes a beeline straight for one section and one section only - the giant robot model kits. She's putting on the air of a dedicated enthusiast to differentiate herself from Ainsley's more casual approach; after a moment or two she even picks one up, looking it over with a thoughtful expression.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone had heard all the jokes about this city, the jokes would go forever until the name of the city changed ot it was well lost to time. Either way she wa here to check out the shop. She'd always been a bit of a nerd after all and well she was a licing example of the things one might find in Table Top in years past. So here she was in causal clothing still bearing the badge and she was looking about for a moment. she pauses for a moment just because the owner was a supernatural didn't mean /he/ was dealing in dirty items right? /SO she took a moment to start to look around with curious intrest in such to her? Retro things.

Sir Gawain has posed:
As people shuffle in, taking turns instead of all shuffling in at once, Luke smiles at each group, giving them a friendly wave. The activity is a very good thing, because it means sales and money, after all. The other employees keep doing their jobs, though they seem available if anyone has questions.

The model toys section that Sokka and Toph are looking through is pretty well-stocked. Trains, figurines, all sorts of parts and accessories. A few have some warning labels on them, warning stuff such as 'keep away from children 7 and under and also orcs and anyone with heart disease', or 'keep away from water otherwise it'll start making death cries that can only be shut up by smashing it with elm wood'. Toph's strong ears can hear an employee sighing in the backroom over his workload and how much moving of cargo they've been having to do lately. Seems they've been bringing in a lot of new stuff in crates.

Mel, meanwhile, finds the giant robot models. The selection is pretty nice, a good amount from all the popular series. While the boxes have various warning labels like the trains, one of the models from a popular collection has a massive sticker on it: 'CURSED - Comes to life once constructed and messes with owner's possessions'. It's pretty much unmissable, with a big symbol and clearly fonted and colored words. Attempting to remove the sticker is futile; some manner of magic is holding it firmly to the box.

Ainsley's approach towards Luke causes him to look away from his work, grinning brightly at her. He glances at the book in her hands, before glancing at the lizard, hand on his chin as he thinks over her question. "Six? I'd suggest...Expedition into the Dwarvenlands. It's a cooperative boardgame using cards for randomization, based on tales from the Dwarven creator's actual family. It lasts about three-six hours, depending on your playstyle." Luke moves away from the front desk to head over to the boardgame section, leading Ainsley if she wishes. "There's also the new Orc Prides game that I hear is pretty good, but I haven't played it myself, yet. I think one of my employees did, though, so I can ask him if you'd like?" He seems to aim to please, his smile genuine and his enthusiasm heartfelt. Or, that's what it appears to be at a glance, at least!

Nasa isn't noticed in Ainsley's pocket, and is therefore able to hear Luke's entire conversation. He is incredibly, incredibly magical. Probably because he's a demon. A bunch of the game boxes are also magical, but some aren't; it depends.

Gawain enters last, heading over to the tabletop gaming section. When Luke notices him, he gaves him an even more friendly wave; the demon obviously recognizes the knight. But for now, he's focusing on his current customer, Ainsley.

Sokka (1076) has posed:
Sokka finally, after a few moments, found it. His eyes glimmered as he picked up big one that said 'Cursed: Will grow to size of real train if ever put in the same room as fine china' "Does he have any fine china? No, no, I'm sure he does. UGhhhhh. But it'd be so coooool!" he whined.

Finally, picking up one that's relatively normal. "Do you think your dad would let me set this up in his front room? Ohhhhh. Maybe one for the kid.Ohhhh, this one says it will baby sit!" Pause. "Wait. No. It will sit on babies. Nevermind."

Na`Sabal-Une Fang (367) has posed:
Yep. As Nasa said over the radio, it's definitely magical in the room. And Luke is VERY magical. Of course, he /is/ a demon. Her head peeks out of the pocket, the glamour shifting with her to ~hopefully~ continue to allow her to be un-noticed. She checks the various magical items that she can see, making sure that each of them have a label. Hmm. A mix of magical and non-magical. Fascinating. She murmurs into her radio under the muting glamour.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
So... somebody's in the back? The store seems packed with lots of crates too, and the man seems tired. But about what? Is it related to this place, or... it's impossible to know as she isn't a mindreader. Even if she's not looking towards Ainsley and Luke as the owner helps Ainsley with her inquiry, she is listening intently. If he's lying about anything that Ainsley is going to tell him, then she will catch it! Unless he's on Azula-levels of lying that is. But few people are /that/ good at lying.

Of course she has to pay attention to Sokka too to keep up the ruse of them just being customers. "Well, of course we have fine China back home, we used it for Christmas, remember?" Toph sighs as she stands next to Sokka, resting her hands on her hips. "And my parents would not be happy if we dragged cursed stuff into the house. So if you're buying anything then you better have somewhere safe to keep it!" Ugh, good thing he read that again. "What kinda person curses stuff so it sits on babies anyway?" Sure, they can be noisy, messy and such, but still.

Ainsley (151) has posed:
Ainsley seems pleased with how helpful Luke is with all of this, her feathers puffing up and her smile brightening. She chooses one of the books with the least terrifying Jumanji-esque effects after browsing for all that there is to offer, and nods to Luke, wandering back over to the counter and digging into a pocket to produce a wallet for purchasing this. "Uhhm... anything I might need for this game? Dice? Those figurines...? The book doesn't say." she wonders at Luke, sounding clueless, both because she is and because she's making sure he isn't trying to take advantage of his customers. She even glances over the back of the game book, frowning thoughtfully.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone is just looking about right, she gets if the guy is a demon? He's sapient and should be treated fairly as she can. Even with Kotone's nternal struggles on certain things she uis keeping with it so far right? So far she's seen things labled clearly so far. She;'s going to take a look at the various books they might have on sale here, or boadgames and the like. She also being a bit wary due ot her experianced with horrible magical things such as the flith and how it could infects written things as well as people.

Kotone also is logging on to the net as she looks to look up things that catch her attention and intrest. She's also going to hit up any hits multiverally related to any of the items.

Mel Brock (941) has posed:
After inspecting them for a little while, Mel picks up the especially-cursed kit, as well as a couple of the less-cursed ones, and for good measure she grabs a bottle of paint. And then she ambles over to where Luke is currently talking to Ainsley. "Hey, got a sec? I hate to bother you while you're helping someone else, but, uh-" She holds up the kit; specifically, she holds it up so the warning label is towards him. "I was wondering, what's up here? Buddy of mine told me the kits here were really good, he didn't say anything about them being cursed. I mean, I'm still /thinking/ about it, but... I mean, does this come with some kind of bonus or something?"

Sir Gawain has posed:
Nasa will notice that every magical item has some manner of label, whether it's cursed or a more mundane warning. The non-magical items have more generic, standard labels on them. This seems all up to board, on a glance.

There are some mundane trains in the selection that Sokka's looking at, but it doesn't seem there's many. It's mostly magical and cursed items, all labeled. Toph, meanwhile, can hear that pretty much all the guys sound exhausted. This is noticeable when one walks past the train section, and Sokka can notice that he just looks beat, with bags under his eyes and a weary sigh. He mutters something about needing to take a break.

Additionally, Toph's Earthbending will sense something potentially important: there's a massive space underneath the building, size of a basement. It seems to be accessed through the storage room, based on elevation and sloping, but something's blocking Toph from feeling what sort of things are actually in the basement. It's just a big massive space to her senses.

While a bunch of these brands are similar to Multiversal ones, local internet will list that most of them are made by supernatural races, with a good portion here at the Hobby Emporium being Hell-made. A search will show that Hell has a huge hobby boom, with many developers either being demons or residents of Hell. Kotone can also find out that cursed and magical items like these are indeed legal, as long as properly warned.

Luke seems happy that Ainsley has made a choice, moving back to the counter to take her order. As she asks a question about the book, he takes a glance at it, reading the title. "Ah, that's going to require atleast two six-sided dice a player, though I'd recommend backups. Miniature play is possible and included in the rules, but entirely optional, so that depends on your playstyle." He starts looking through the computer on the counter. "Definitely a good game, though. We actually have weekly games here, and our regulars are pretty helpful for getting new players or gamemasters acquainted with the rules."

Mel approaches Luke during this time. He just waves a hand as she worries about bothering him. "Nah, it's fine. Let's see here..." Taking a moment to look over it and listen to her, he just laughs. His voice is incredibly confident as he speaks, and he seems to be entirely in his element. "Ah, I get this question a lot. I import those from down home," he waves a hand downwards, "where cursed stuff is its own market. They've proven to be pretty popular up here, enough that I've started stocking them on the shelves. They're pretty much our main selling point. Though, I /totally/ understand if that's not your thing. We have mundane stock of everything, and there should be some on the shelf. If not, I can grab some from the backroom real quick." Instead of moving in that direction, though, he glances over at the animated cursed model. His tone changes, slightly. He's moving in to try and sell it. "I do recommend that one, though. The animated ones can actually be pretty great companions, when they're not tying your napkins in chains. You can actually play games with them, due to their mischevious and competitive nature. One of our regulars bought a few and managed to teach them how to play a pen and paper using charades." Luke's body language and tone both subtly change into this more business-oriented mode, a very predatory one. It seems Mel's prey, right now.

Gawain, meanwhile, moves around the aisles, stopping next to the backroom. He frowns as he hears the guy in the back complain, but there's nothing he can do right now but keep an eye and ear out.

Sokka (1076) has posed:
Sokka nodded and finally grabbed a big train set, taking it to the counter. Unmarked and everything. "Okay, I wanna get this one! It's awesome! And no curses, too. Toph, that cool? I'm sure your dad won't mind if we set it up in the main front room, right?" he asked with that big, dopy, lovable grin of his. Completely clueless to the big going ones. Or, if aware, just not... magically inclined enough to do anything about it.

Mel Brock (941) has posed:
"Yeah, no, I... I don't think I'm down for something that's cursed just because it's cursed," Mel replies, looking at the lesser items with obvious suspicion. She ends up just kind of setting them aside on the counter... but she /does/ hold up the animated one. "Uh, I... I think I'll take this one, though? I mean, I've got some questions about the animation enchantment but as long as there's nothing that can't be solved by locking it in a display case or something, it should be fi-" Here she stops, then snaps. "Oh! Shit, right, do you have supplies? A modeler's knife, sandpaper, paints and primer, maybe paint pens so I can do the panel lines? I literally have not done one of these since college, I don't even have most of my stuff anymore."

Mel knows an awful lot about building giant robot model kits, doesn't she? Hmm.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
Well, better get a good look at this place... Toph lets out another sigh as Sokka seems to be taking his sweet time with the trains, tapping her foot in what appears to be an impatient manner on the floor. Except this is to create vibrations with her bending to get a better look at the place.

And once she gets a good 'look' at the store, or rather, that there's something underneath it, she blinks. Wait, why would the store have a massive space underneath it...? And why can't she see anything in there? Is it all on shelves? Suspended in air with magic? Protected by some weird spell? Not that she knows, but Gawain and the others need to know.

So pardon her if she isn't paying proper attention when Sokka grabs a trainset and heads up to the counter with it. "Huh? Wait, Sokka...!" Laugh's on you, Sokka. Toph can't see that big, dopy, lovable grin of yours. Her own expression is serious, which Sokka should be able to tell easily.

    "Are you /sure/ it's safe?"

Na`Sabal-Une Fang (367) has posed:
Nasa seems to be pretty content with what she finds. Everything seemed to check out. And that was her biggest job from Ainsley's pocket. She flicks her gaze towards Mel, watching her silently for a long while. She murmurs into her radio again quietly, though her attention is still on various magical items, keeping a sense out for particularly dangerous seeming ones.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa looks ove the books and she looks over here she feels uneasy but if they re playing by the rules? All right this is a very strange situation for her, a /very/ strange situation for her but so far nothing seems off anything cursed is full out /warned/ as required by local laws. She'll also check on the limits on cursed items if there are any. Though man she muses a certain old preacer on her world would have a heart attack on this world's hobby scene.

She not going to get anything but she is so far not finding anything too fishy.

Ainsley (151) has posed:
Seeing nothing wrong with what Luke is saying, Ainsley gathers some dice and some miniatures and sets them down, and then pulls out some cash -- she made sure she had something locally appropriate, if needed -- so that she could purchase everything she gathered. She doesn't have much else to say here, simply seeking out a receipt to look at during the course of this. She keeps a keen eye fixed on Luke, not wanting him to cause problems for her allies while she's distracted.

Sir Gawain has posed:
Sokka has grabbed one of the mundane train sets. It is entirely mundane; anyone with magical senses can simply scan it and tell. It is also more expensive than anything without magic, even of the same brand. Not by much, but it's noticeable.

Nasa will notice that one of the labels on a collectible reads 'warning - will disappear in a flash of light if you set it within a foot of pure copper'. There's a few other potentially dangerous ones lying around, but none with /explicitly/ harmful effects. While she's looking at labels, Nasa can also notice the placement; cursed items are closer to the front, followed by less magical ones, and mundane ones are sort of hidden out of the way. Price also goes in that direction; cursed and regular magical are differing in terms of a dollar cheaper for Cursed at most, while non-magical can actually be a few dollars more.

Kotone can get some pretty important information: nothing can be sold that explicitly harms one's well-being, and mind control is highly illegal in any and all forms. Otherwise, anything goes as long as there's warning.

As Ainsley purchases her stuff, Luke types into the computer, asiding to Mel as he does so. "Yep! They should be back there." He waves a hand towards near the storage room. There are indeed modelling supplies back there, some of which are also magical or cursed, though there is an even amount of mundane and the pricing is practically the same for all of them. Luke then turns back to Ainsley. "Alright, here's your receipt, lemme grab your pen to sign off." He prints out two copies of the receipt, sliding both to Ainsley, while sliding her a pen. They're identical, do not radiate magic, and read off like a normal receipt until you get a bit to the bottom. In very fine print, underneath the pricing, is a warning that by signing the receipt, you agree that you will not hold the Hobby Emporium for harm to your well-being, accidental possessions, or any other incidents. It's pretty much a very small contract written into the receipt. Luke doesn't say anything as he passes it forward, but does tap his foot. He seems like he wants it signed as fast as possible, but if Ainsley takes her time, he doesn't say or do anything in regards to that.

Meanwhile, Gawain notices that the storage room door is open. With encouragement, he glances into it, making sure not to get spotted by the worker inside. As he looks around from outside the door, his eyes pause at an area in the back, next to a crate. There's a small red pool building up. As he spots it, he steps backwards, falling into a display loudly. Luke turns towards him, as does the employee and a few customers. This isn't good.

Sokka (1076) has posed:
Sokka went and waited in line with his box. Then blinked and gasped. "Oh, my. Gosh. Toph, look at this! Look at this! Apparently when you play with it, you can actually ride on it! It..." Pause. "Oh. Wait. It needs a high grade magical disenchanter to break the shrinking curse. Maybe not such a good idea...."

Mel Brock (941) has posed:
Mel sees the blood on the way by, but having been warned by Gawain, she doesn't act as if she's spotted anything out of the ordinary. Instead, she 'trips' over the fallen Gawain, and then turns to look at him with moderate outrage. "Hey, careful, buddy, some of us actually paint our models." With a derisive snort, she turns her back to him and starts gathering modeling supplies... with what seems to be a very practiced eye.

"...probably don't even sand off the..."

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa checks the laws okay most of them make snese no fatal things nothing like the Pendant Movie series back home, or general mind control items. She gets the idea and looks it over and will now move to get on tactical comm about this as her comrades get to work on things here. She'll move about browse for other items of intrest here keeping an eye out for anyhting tht might hint to something on the banned list.

Ainsley (151) has posed:
Ainsley makes sure to be as annoyingly thorough as possible. When Luke looks away to the distraction of people falling over clumsily, she briefly activates her Sight to search the wording for oddities... but there's nothing there at a glance. But when it's clear Luke is distracted, she looks up at him, and follows the distraction over there, blinking owlishly. "What's wrong?" she wonders aloud.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
Waiting for Gawain to check out the storage room, Toph sticks close to Sokka, though she does lean close to him, whispering something in his ear, all while she listens in on the radio through her ear piece.

Blood in the storage room is worrying enough, and well, this entire store seems a bit... off.

She pretends to be focused on Gawain and Mel by the door leading to the storeroom, looking concerned even as she has one arm on Sokka's. Time to pretend to be the helpless blind girl, perhaps... she can't claim to have seen the blood, that much is clear to her. So perhaps she needs to be on guard for now, ready to act should it be necessary.

"Did somebody fall over there?" she asks to Mel and Gawain, worry in her voice.

Sir Gawain has posed:
Sokka, at the least, isn't being paid attention to at all. He's blended into the store perfectly. Stealth roll: crit.

Nothing looks banned to Kotone. All the merchandise is perfectly legal. Some of it probably isn't stuff people would want to buy, but everything falls into the guidelines.

Gawain, meanwhile, begins to move to his feet as Mel 'trips' over him. "I'm sorry, uh, Luke?" He glances over to the others who are concerned, and then at Luke. Luke comes over, concerned. "Something happen?" "Is that...blood in there?"

As Gawain mentions the blood, Luke's eyes widen as he moves over to the storage room. As he spots it, he curses under his breath, before speaking. "Damn, I thought we cleaned that up." He sighs and rubs his forehead. "Yeah, an employee got injured earlier prying open a crate. I sent him to go to the hospital, but it seems we didn't get the blood from the crates. I'm really sorry for scaring you like that." The customers, who were momentarily frightened, seem to believe Luke's story, with how smoothly he says it. But there's someone here with very good ears, and other people are very good at reading lies. And there's something telling about how Luke is moving and talking here. It's hard to be sure, because his body language and speech is incredibly well-maintained that it's practically artificial. But, there's a very good chance of it: Luke A. Fure is lying.

Sokka (1076) has posed:
Sokka blinked and then, can't help getting a little annoyed as he goes around the shop. Completely ignored. LIKE ALWAYS. Now Toph would know what it was like in his world. Still, he got to go around the shop, looking at things as he held his new train set close and looked at all the different curses. Looking for any really cool.

But seriously. Only he could go to a store, plan to buy something really expensive. Then be completely ignored.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
"Sokka!" Toph complains as the older boy seems completely taken by the trains. Heck, he even walks away from her, and she unwraps her arm from his before she lets out a groan of frustration. Memo, never take Sokka to a store like this when they're on official business.

For now though she turns her full attention to Gawain and the store owner, listening intently as she narrows her eyes. No, those words Luke did mutter did not escape her sharp hearing. Neither does her cues she picks up as Luke explains matter to Gawain.

"... he's lying," Toph declares on the radio, even as they work on their plan. So they're getting a warrant to search this place. Ugh, it feels wrong just leaving this place! But sadly, that's the truth of being a Paladin, isn't it? Follow the law, and use that to do good. How easy it would be to confront this guy, to barge into the storage room, to...

Toph grits her teeth as she clenches her hands into fists. /Fine/. She'll play by the rules, but it better be worth it...! With that she turns and heads off to where Sokka is standing. "Let's just buy the non-cursed train and leave," she says to him, reaching out to grab onto his arm firmly.

Na`Sabal-Une Fang (367) has posed:
Yep! That was a liar all right! Though Nasa didn't deem it necessary to say as much as others already claimed it. She did, however, pointedly stare at Luke a Furher. And then at Sokka. But it seemed that pretty much everything was legitimate and in line, so her attention went towards searching for licenses real quick before they left, since it seemed that was all that they could do for now.

Kotone Yamakawa has posed:
Kotone Yamakawa is doing her best ot check everyting and nothing seems off on her end but she pauses, she's going to go check up the hospital records for all the nebhar hospials on this, if there was someone admitted? It would be on record at one of them right? She's being polite and doing her job, everything is labled nothing dips into things tht are banned, this may be a case of buyers not reading the lables but she wants to make certain.

Sir Gawain has posed:
Something here is definitely up. However, there's nothing the Paladins can do without a warrant. After tasking one of the employees to clean up the bloodstain, Luke will just sigh and return to the counter, checking out everyone's purchases they may have. The Paladins' visit here wasn't worthless, atleast: there's a mystery at Luke A. Fure's Hobby Emporium, and it's up to them to solve it. Only time will tell if they can.
