Golden (782) has posed:
It was the day after Easter in the idyllic community of Scarborough Fair. Downtown consisted of the post office, a nicely kept town square, a few stores run by local families, and cobblestones. The city wakes to find that it has an egg problem. They're about six inches in length, colorfully decorated. They've largely turned up around the colorful Easter display in the town square, and has attracted a crowd this early as people are wondering what's happened.
Ashley and Golden had wandered into town, and are curious about the gathering. "Wonder what's going on over there, Golden?"

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden and Katze decided to hang out with Golden, after all, he is the gabumon's friend, and he always likes excuses to just roam around, be lazy, and perhaps ignore his responsibilities!. He even brought some snacks for the other digimon, a nice bundle of bacon strips, chewing on his own.
Alden looks around at the question, noticing the gathering, "Is this related to that Easter thing?" he muses, seems to be a colorful display near the group after all.

Nicky (968) has posed:
Easter was a crap day, just like any other day was a crap day, because people just were crap at home. Which was part of the reason Nicky had left there. Still, this fluffy plush place was nice..... or rather...TOO nice. Which was why she brought a rifle in .308 Winchester. Not the most fancy one, but it worked well, especially for small game. But then...
Egg problem?! Who the hell egged an entire town? But then she spotted two known faces in the crowd. Grabbing the Winchester Model 70 lightly and resting its barrel on the shoulder she closed in on the trio of Quartet, a dry smile on the face. "If this is easter, the bunny was late."

Golden (782) has posed:
The townsfolk are a bit... on edge. Things like this just don't happen in Scarborough Fair. The old man in the crowd said so. There's a reason there's hardly any teenagers in the crowd; nothing ever happens here, and they move on to bigger cities with sights and excitement. Parents are holding their childrens' hands to keep them safe from the unknown eggs. A pall of fear and uncertainty has settled in.
When the strange quintet starts speaking, a few people at the back of the crowd look back at the two humans, two weird monsters, and the tiny robot, looking more confused. "Maybe the strangers know what's going on!" shouts one, pointing squarely at the newcomers. This raises a bit of an alarm as the bewildered mob starts closing in and deluging them with questions.
    "Did you do this?"
    "You're monsters!"
"What kind of devil puppet is that?""
"Protect the girls from the creatures!" There's attempts to pull Ashley and Nicky away from the little group, and threatening motions are made at Alden, Golden, and Katze.

Ashley protests as a middle-aged man grabs her by the arm in a misguided attempt to protect the young woman. "Hey! Let go! Golden!"
The veemon starts after Ashley but is rebuffed by the mob that's rapidly becoming ugly. "Let go of my friend!" He shouts as he's man-handled. "You'll regret it if you don't!"

Alden (930) has posed:
The Gabumon is a bit unerved when the crowd suddenly turned on him, having flashbacks to the reaction of humasn back home, at least at first, "We are not dangerous!... well, at least, not me or Golden, can't speak for her." he says, playfully pointing to Nicky, before shaking his head. He lets out a growl once he sees them trying to grab Ashley, moving for her, while Katze hissed, "I'm not a devil puppet!." she protests, "Even if that sounds cool."

Nicky (968) has posed:
Nicky responds to the tries to pull her away the way anyone with a gun on the shoulder should do: use the butt of the rifle to 'gently' tap onto the first hand, then spin around. "Fingers off! I know well enough how to deal with 'em, and yes, I wouldn't call it particularly safe to mess with somebody having a damned rifle in the hand you hillibillies!" she leashes out to the townfolk, roughly aiming the gun at one. "Now, we have an understanding?! Comeon, let's go egg Whacking."

Golden (782) has posed:
The sudden brandishing of a gun gives the mob serious pause, looking at Nicky with a variety of expressions. Some with shock, others a scowl, and still more that seem to be coming out of a daze at realizing what they'd been about to do. They stop pushing, shoving, and being belligerent. Apologies get mumbled towards the new people in town. Ashley gets let go, and asked if she's alright.
So distracted by the newcomers they were that they did not notice the children, now unattended, had swarmed the strange eggs. They're curious, and examining them. "Are they Easter eggs?"

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden is a bit on edge, and appreciates Nicky's help resolving it, even if... it might have been a bit violent. The digimon moves to check on poor Ashley, and offers what he hopes is just a friendly smile to the people, "No harm done." he tells the people apologizing, sniffing the air again adn looking around, "Maybe we should check those eggs." he quickly suggests, moving around to get closer. Katze beats him to it, jumping and weaving through the people, looking back at the children, "Hey, careful!, we are not sure what they are!" the small, toy sized cat girl says.

Nicky (968) has posed:
"My Guess? Raptor eggs you mad lot. Can't you see that? You'll deserve to be eaten by them for poking them. My suggestion: smacking 'em." Nicky responds, clearly angry, aiming the gun upwards.

Golden (782) has posed:
Golden finally gets a look at the eggs. "No, those are digitama- er... digimon eggs. They're pretty harmless."
The mob is still a bit confused and more than a few of them wonder where the eggs came from though.

Nicky (968) has posed:
Nicky snorts and eyes Golden, then the crowd, then the eggs again. "So, what to do? Want to bag 'em? Or whack 'em?"

Golden (782) has posed:
To the surprise of everybody present, the eggs start hatching, releasing adorable baby digimon that draw the happy smiles of the children. The adults are a bit dubious about it.
Golden has to explain that they're baby digimon and that they'll be just fine as long as they're taken care of.
To Nicky's question. "Uh, yeah, I guess we ought to round them up and take them to the digimon villages I know about." He explains. "They're sitting ducks here." Meanwhile, Ashley is feeding the little adorable things some of the beef jerky in her pocket. One of the clever buggers figures out it's in the pocket of her hoody and climbs inside to devour the entire bag- including the bag.
