Shigure has posed:
Shigure centers herself as the announcer does their thing, Blue eyes closed as she gathers herself and prepares for the doors to open.

The announcer, a nondescript man in a suit, wearing sunglasses speaks into a microphone from just off to the side of the arena. "Ladies and Gentlemen, children of all ages and beings of all kinds, welcome to another Multiverse Elite Combat Championship bout! Today's battle on Stage 6, is a knockdown, drag out bout between two beings created by their respective world's humanity! The Shiratsuyu-class Destroyer, Shigure. And the Multimedia Program, Deelel! Stay tuned for all the play-by-play folks, this is sure to be a match for the history books!"

A gong sounds, and the doors open, allowing Shigure to step out into the arena. She holds one arm up, fist clenched as she looks across the gathered crowd. After she hits the center of the arena, she steps back a few paces to give a good distance between herself and her opponent. The destroyer girl then bows politely at the waist and says simply. "May you find victory on the dawns horizon."

A few moments pass, letting the pair get into their ready stances, before another gong sounds and the announcer shouts "BEGIN!". Shigure's off the instant the call comes to start, plucking her hand-turret from her belt and firing a volley of shots as she starts running to strafe around the Program.

Deelel has posed:
Deelel comes out clad in her strange clothing the cargo pants and swimsuit like top could almost be considered normal but odd fashion save there are no seams or signs of the material being put together she'll listen to the announcer and then turns to Shigure.

"Two beings born of mankind's creatively, this will be fun Shigure."

Deelel says and she bows slightly but once the call to start goes? Deelel is springing into action.

The opening volley comes and she's on the move. 5R
The volley comes she's not quite hit directly but she is not able to escape the blast done of the shells, she's clearly been roughed up a bit from them of the singed nature of her outfit and herself.

"Not bad!"

Deelel is now on the run herself and she pulls the disc off her back it's edge powers up with a hum and she launches it bouncing it off several bits of terrain as she keeps on the move.

"Let's see how your game is!"

She's also being quite acrobatic as she moves about, and she's never sitting still, if you did on the GAME GRID you lost if it was sport or died if it was how the powers that be on her world liked to run things.

Shigure has posed:
Shigure stows her hand-turret, in favour of the two large tonfa-like cannons on her back. One has a large, multi-barrel assembly instead of its normal single large barrel. That's not important as instead of bringing them up in an offensive posture, letting the ID Disc strike off of the armoured top-plate. The energy blade around the edge digs a deep rut into the metal before rebounding off, and the shipgirl staggers back a bit from the force of the impact, but she's still standing.

"War is a game only the rich can afford to play." she returns dourly, leveling the gattling cannon on the moving Program, adjusting her course to keep space between herself and Deelel. The cannon begins to rotate, and then, with a very loud BRRRRRT-like sound, starts spitting 20mm slugs all around the Program's path!

Deelel has posed:
Deelel pauses "Ah yes, GAME has a different context from games."

She notes for a moment at Shigure

"We should not get into a contest of such matter and just have some fun with this, I should think. We're here for games not GAMES."

Strange how one sounds light-hearted and the other? Well very much in the same way Shigure speaks of war.

Bullets so many bullets are coming to her way and there's no way to dodge so Deelel attempt to endure she catches her ID Disc in one hand and summons her keyblade in the other attempting to deflect what she can, but many shots get through and rather than bleed? Deelel's body disrupts and there are cracks and in one place Shigure could see glowing blue voxels in the open wound.

She keeps her blade ready and will lunge for Shigure trying to stick with the strange weapon in close combat. She'll also drop low throwing in a sweeping kick as well.

Shigure has posed:
Shigure shifts and brings her tonfa-like cannons back into a defensive stance once Deelel comes in on the offensive. She takes the keyblade thrust on the turret caps, angling to turn it aside after a moment, a silvery gash appearing in the black paint. She stumbles with the leg-sweeping kick, knocked off balance a little, but instead of trying to right herself, she lets her legs buckle, and falls to a knee... though that doesn't limit her offensive abilities much!

Small 'nests' fold out of her turrets, fairies manning various autocannon emplacements and machinegun arrays. These all angle up to open fire on the Program at pointblank range, tracer fire lancing out as 7.7mm, 12.7mm and 40mm machinegun and autocannon arrays fire their low caliber, high volume volleys at her opponent.

Deelel has posed:
Deelel has seen mecha with lots of guns back in the old war with the Unions and Feds but she' never expected so much ranged firepower on a human-sized package who was around her own /size/. Shigure has a whole lot of gun and it's now raining down on the program as the battle is really going to get shot the wounds are adding up and her body is flat out bleeding light from all the small scale but high volume of fire, she banishes her weapon pulls out a baton, which expands out forming into a light cycle about Deele, there's a grin on her face.

"Let's see how you handle this!"

The machine makes an otherworldly whine as it engine power up and Deelel drives right at Shigure trying to run her down and she'll twist away trying to hem her in with powerful light walls which could be destroyed with an application of sufficient firepower which Shigure has more than in spade but this manoeuvre might just keep her off balance a bit.

"Catch me if you can, Shigure!"

Also Techno music starts to play from her craft and damn it's loud!

Shigure has posed:
Shigure is still on a knee, so the light cycle crashes right into her, knocking her fully over. She grunts, rolling and has to quickly toss one of her tonfa as it begins to smoke and the fairies abandon it, leaping away. She tosses it at the light wall, making the transluscent barrier shatter as the internal magazine cooks off in a large explosion.

The Destroyer girl stands back up, and with her eyes, tracks the path of the light cycle. She then says something under her breath, while drawing a trio of torpedoes from her offhand. The rotary barrel of her remaining tonfa begins to cycle up, whirring away, before it start spitting slugs that detonate into painful shrapnel clouds. Micro-flak shells! They also leave behind a choking cloud of black smoke to make it harder to see clearly. Into this, she tosses the torpedoes like throwing knives, aiming to where she expects Deelel's bike to be when they arrive.

Deelel has posed:
Deelel didn't expect to drop Shigure out of the fight with that but she did hope to push he back a bit it seems to have worked fairly well but it was not enough to push Shigure back. Then comes the counter-attack as the Gatling Tonfa is opening fire and the micro-flak shell are what really messes Delle up and her bike forcing her to derezz it in a cloud of light leaving her sprawled out on the ground and a bit fazed as she attempts to get back up from what just hit her.

"Your good as ever, Shigure."

Deelel is not quite out of it just yet. She's back on her feet, Keyblade in hand again and she's muttering something.

"Thundaga!"

Which results in a massive lighting bolt striking from the heavens at Shigure! While Deelel gets on the move again hoping that somehow Shigure does not have enough ammo to keep up the heavy fire for long.

Shigure has posed:
Shigure manages to brace her stance the gattling winding down and emitting a series of clicks and clanks as it reloads. Deelel's attack makes her wince, and she leaps haphazardly aside, just barely missing getting struck dead-on by that lightning. She discards the gattling as the fairies abandon it, that one detonating in much the same way as the other. She seems unarmed now, but is far from it.

Shigure draws a short blade from the small of her back, and pulls another trio of torpedoes from her other thigh-holder. She then sets her stance, and charges in, tossing the torpedoes as a feint, and jinks to come in from the side to slash across Deelel's midsection!

Deelel has posed:
Shigure is now up close with Deelel and if she was flesh and blood? She's likely been down for the count from the strike to her gut. She, however, is not flesh and is just barely able to push on.

It's still and it exposes a glowing voxel rent in her body and Deelel cries out in a rather inhuman digital cry of pain. She feels back, she's still hanging on to her keyblade and she trying to push through but the pain and the damage she has suffered. She staggers back and she looks to Shigure.

"Didn't expect you to be so good up close and I'm paying for it."

She notes she'll now put that Keyblade back to use. She'll make several blunted swipes for Shigure's own midsection followed up with a strike to the upper torso.

Shigure has posed:
Lacking the heavier armour of her larger fleetmates, getting in this close is always a danger. And so it goes. She brings her blade up to try and deflect those strikes, but several get through, and then she's knocked over by the strike to her chest, sending her sprawling and causing the arena to blare an alert and hit the 'refresh' function.

The announcer, until now going play-by-play in a level tone, all but screams. "AND WE HAVE A WINNER. DEELEL OF THE GRID! Well done to Deelel, and comisserations to Shigure."

The destroyer lays there, looking up at the ceiling. "A good match. Thank you, Miss Deelel." she says in her soft tone.

Deelel has posed:
Deelele's body visible reknits itself as the damage from the fight fades as the arena systems kick in and she seems to be doing better as she looks to Shigure grinning and she'll move to offer Shigure a hand up.

"It was a very good match Shigure, you about had me. Gaining skill in close combat has and will serve you well. Come on I hear the party scene here is pretty good between matches!"

Shigure has posed:
Shigure accepts the hand, hauling herself up. "That sounds enjoyable... this was my last qualifier bout, so I have a lot of free time until the pool results are announced." she says, offering a small smile. She follows Deelel out of the arena, to the cheers of the crowd for both combatants.
