Profile

Sealed away at the age of eight months old in order to prevent the beginning of the Holy Grail War, Chloe von Einzbern lived as a passenger within her own body. Forced to remain dormant within Illyasviel von Einzbern as she led a normal life, Chloe was freed during a freak event stemming from Illyasviel's escapades as a budding magical girl. Bold, brazen, a little bratty, she's possessed of a keen and cunning mind, as sharp as the blades she wields, with her desire to live as a magus. Chloe now leads her own existence; granted the powers of the unnamed blacksmith Heroic Spirit thanks to the Archer Class Card within her body. A potent magus, knowledgeable in both the theory and application of magecraft, tracing and forming objects and weapons from Prana, and swordplay, she finally has the opportunity to live how she wants to for herself with the multiverse open to her.

Prana Dependent: Though she seems to be of flesh and blood, she is actually a spiritual copy branched off from Illyasviel von Einzbern, and must constantly replenish her prana much like a normal person needs to eat. She will vanish or even die if her supply runs out, which means she has to regain it from other sources; be it stealing from others, pacting with a magus, or taking in energy from strong ambient sources such as powerful leylines. She requires prana to fight and use magecraft, and using her abilities too much without a chance to recharge can actually kill her.

Emiya Shirou: Chloe is attached to Emiya Shirou in a strange relationship where she claims to be his sister. Wether he likes it or not. However despite her playful antics, chronic vying for attention, constant teasing, and tendency to make him potentially miserable, she does view him as an older brother and might endanger her existence for his sake in the event he becomes threatened.

Faker: The weapons formed by Chloe's projection are not the original Noble Phantasms from which they are derived. They are copies, forgeries, and in some cases altered derivatives. While they are still considered legendary weapons, they are not as sturdy as the originals, and can simply up and break in her grasp from strain as she uses them. Other than her bow and arrows, when it comes to copying weapons she is generally limited to melee class weapons. She can also copy shields and defensive items however this costs double or even triple prana to do so.

Illyasviel von Einzbern: Somewhere in the multiverse there's a magical girl named Illya. Chloe split off from her existence, however due to circumstances after that, a curse was placed on her. Chloe shares all pain sensations Illya does. Though it doesn't seem to follow across worlds and the distance of the multiverse, in the event the two are reunited Chloe's existence hinges on Illya's continued survival, as the curse also covers pain of death. It is even possible WITHOUT this curse that if Illya were to die, Chloe will follow shortly afterwards.

Kind Of A Brat: Chloe's personality leaves something to be desired. She's a scheming, conniving, aggravating, girl with a tendency to taunt, tease, and goad others, and can even be standoffishly competitive. All in all she's something of a brat. Though she's not all talk, and follows through with her actions for results, she can still cause others around her something of a headache.

Traced Armory

PROJECTION LIBRARY

Gunblade Image: A sword in the form of a gunblade wielded by the Centurions of the Garlean Empire, in Eorzea. Though the internal workings are too difficult to copy, it still serves as a perfectly functional sword. Source: Gaius Van Baelsar

Elucidator: The demonic black longsword of SAO. Though an alchemized copy of the weapon rather than data, it is a heavy duty blade with higher than normal strength requirements of the wielder. Despite this, it is an evenly balanced and quite powerful blade to wield. Source: Kirito

Dark Repulser: A slender one-handed blade forged from crystal, like Elucidator, it requires the wielder to have a strong arm due to its heavy duty nature, but it is also a finely balanced and masterfully made sword. Source: Kirito

(^Fighting style: A dual-wield style, excellent footwork from a backing in kendo, the fighting style used behind Elucidator and Darkness Repulser is a wild method, focusing on using the heavier weight of the swords, combined with the wielder's speed to overwhelm and utterly overpower foes. What it lacks in beauty, grace, and actual formality, the style behind these swords is a pragmatic one suited best for aiming to simply win over your opponent.)

Excalibur Galatine: The sister sword of King Arthur's fabled Excalibur given to Gawain by the Lady of the Lake. A mighty holy sword, Excalibur Galatine contains a 'pseudo-sun' in its hilt and can imbue its already exceptional edge with searing flame for decisive strikes. When activated as a Noble Phantasm, the weapon conjures a miniature sun via an instantly generated magical circle, and gathers the light into the blade for a long-distance slash as far as the user can visualize (several kilometers.) The burning horizontal slash pierces through enemies and erupts as a spectacular fireball.

Title: The Resurrected Sword of Victory

Type: Anti-Army

Rank: A+

Source: Sir Gawain

Naegling: The sword wielded by Beowulf, a well-crafted sword with no true special properties, smoother than Hrunting and more suited to direct fighting than Unferth's sword, emblazoned with runic sigils right on the blade.

Title: The Ancient Gleaming Blade

Type: Anti-Unit

Rank: B

Source: Berserker Beowulf (Sir Gawain TP NPC)

Zantetsuken: The Iron-Cutting Sword of Odin, Elder Primal of Hydaelyn. Capable of slicing through most materials with ease using a war god's furious berserker style. The style is extremely strenuous for most users, and Chloe is no exception even with her Heroic Spirit level strength and endurance, and thus saps her of further prana while wielding it. Its ultimate attack charges the blade with tremendous aether, resulting in a display of crimson lightning and mighty 'slash wave' cleaving everything in its way, but the strain severely drains Chloe.

Source: Odin NPC, FF14 TP

Monohoshi Zao: An overly long katana, too long to be feasibly practical in any logical sense. Still, it is very effective despite its illogical length. With Monohoshi Zao in hand, Chloe can duplicate a bootleg version of the Noble Phantasm level attack Tsubame Gaeshi, allowing for three swift consecutive and overlapping strikes occurring incredibly fast, one after the other.

Source: Fake Avenger

Mithril Rapier: A finely crafted and high quality sword made of the rare material, mithril. Quite durable, though still breaks in Chloe's hands due to being a copy. Nevertheless, when wielded it relies on a nimble style intent on hobbling foes and utilizing maneuverability and evasion over defense.

Source: Dominic Masoch

The Rock: The Valodjn ancestral weapon, found by Artyom's distant ancestor. From a glance the sword is more of a giant stone club, immensely heavy and blunt, without much of a cutting edge. Wielded best with a two-handed grip for control, as well as simply being used as a massive stone shield, it is great for aiding in earth-related and earth-manipulating thaumaturgy. However at the blade's heart is a crystalline core, revealed when a large amount of prana is pumped into the weapon, revealing the molten-glowing crystal within and allowing for much faster and more empowered and deadlier blows.

Grollschwert, the False Demon Sword

Type: Anti-Unit

A copy of Grollschwert, the Demon Sword, created by Iris Sepperin to outfit her Grolla dolls. This three quarters of a foot wide, four foot long sword is best handled with two hands. As its wielder's health decreases, its sharpness increases. Calling out its name allows firing a sharp purple shockwave out; if the user's health is below half, the number of shockwaves increases to three, and if the wielder is near death, it becomes an Omnislash-style attack. Due to being a copy of the original sword it isn't of high quality.
