Welcome to Multiverse Crisis MUSH!

We are an application-only role playing site with broad inclusion of characters and settings from anime, video games, movies, books, sci-fi, and more. We are receptive to Alternate Universe takes on existing series, and original characters. If there's something you're interested in role playing, there is a pretty good chance that you can find it here!

Except those marked with italics, the news files on this wiki are now official.

The Fangs of Zhuanshu 2021-01-27 23:30:00 It is seventeen years after the Imperial Revolution. The age of the swordsman is over. And yet there are still those unwilling to lay down their blades and indulge in peaceful times, victims of the changing of an era and the grudges passed down to their children. Even in Zhuanshu, the Imperial Capital, there are such troublemakers in the shadows, waiting for an opportunity to strike against the government that has robbed them of their world.
Today, such an opportunity presents itself.

Terms of Service V 2021-01-29 01:00:00 In which the Concord beats an uppity psychic warlord in a post-apocalyptic Neo Tokyo into submission and takes the psychic interface device he stole back.

Cobra - Major Bludd 2021-01-30 00:00:00 The Paladins have decided to target Major Bludd, Head of Personnel in the evil organization Cobra, in order to get his keystone and cut down the volcano island of Cobra-La's troop cohesion. He's finally left his secure office - to visit the volcano's training course, suspended over lava. To get to him, those attacking will have to go through the death course!

Paladins only, action and fight scene.

Stone of Storms-2 2021-01-30 22:00:00 After discussion on the nature of the Crescent Moon Flotilla, the Concord came to the conclusion that the sailor-monks may have more in common with the pirates of Nassau than was first imagined. The Walrus, the Royal Anne and a compliment of Elites will meet the flotilla on the open seas, shock them with a display of power, and attempt to talk them into joining their strength, and their artifact, to Nassau's cause of independence.
(OOC: A negotiation focused scene where members of three different sea-god religions will be convinced or coerced into joining their strength to Nassau's and committing a powerful artifact to the care of its defenders. Uncoded combat is possible, depending on player choices.)

Every society has a place one does not go. The crumbling home at the end of the lane, the dark cave, the thick woods. And for most of these, there exists common sense reasons as to why. The home may collapse on you, you might get lose. But there are places that are avoided for reasons beyond mere sense. They are taboo. Something primal in you says that it is dangerous. And those who ignore those warnings rarely return.

Tony Redgrave has been invited to such a place, along with many who orbit his field of work.

An absolutely ludicrous cash prize has been offered for successful defense, but more exotic rewards are on the table assuming the machine is undamaged enough to do its job.

Into Purgatory 2021-02-03 00:00:00 A scene following up on certain things that happen in Red Moon Rising (scene 7359).

Scene will be concord-focused but open to all (optionally: hit me up for a hook). Expect social with optional objectives.

Watch concord radio/board for further details during the leadup to the scene.

Getting the Band Back Together 2021-02-03 22:00:00 One week ago, Omni-Tek Corporation embarrassed the Interstellar Council of Corporations by raiding the neutral city of Borealis and seizing it, forcing ICC troops out. Though there have been sanctions issued against Omni-Tek, as well as other bureaucratic wrist-slapping, these are hardly a comfort for the people of Borealis, who have no idea when or if the ICC will reclaim the city.

Omni-Tek claims that the occupation is purely in the interest of securing and repairing the subspace relay destroyed two months ago. Atticus Morgan, an aging Bureaucrat with the Borealis Transit Authority, doesn't buy it--and has reached out to the Watch with a plan to oust the corporation's forces before they become too entrenched. It involves, of all things, a concert, but his band will require some wrangling...

(OOC: Some AO plot! Attendance at previous scenes isn't necessary, though there will be Bonus Callbacks.)
SOR4: The Factory 2021-02-04 00:00:00 After a long period of radio silence from the vigilantes in Wood Oak City, a call for assistance has once again been made to defy the plans of Mr. X. One specific factory has been identified as a key manufacturing center for raxine, an explosive element capable of decimating entire cities, and robots designed for both combat and to deliver the payload over long distances. The vigilantes are requesting help to shut down the factory so they can turn their attention towards Mr. X himself.

OOC: It's punching time again! this one fell by the wayside for a while due to MULTIPLE REASONS, but now it's time to get back into this old place! Knowledge of prior scenes not required, only a desire to beat up swarms of people and things that look like people while eating questionable barrel-stored meals.

OVER: Fraying Cleanup Detail B 2021-02-05 01:00:00 A colossal smoke-belching fortress built on a foundation of tank treads has rolled into Njorun Crater, one of its faces opening to reveal some sort of processing facility, and its owner wants help defending it. Fabulous wealth has been offered for successful defense, but more exotic rewards are on the table assuming the machine is undamaged enough to do its job.

Community Service I - Traffic Control 2021-02-07 00:00:00 Hesinca screwed up. She's having to pay for it - with time, not money, which sucks because why the heaven do we have Wealth pips anyway if we can't just buy our way out of trouble?

She's off on a series of tasks throughout the other afterlives of the Multiverse - doing whatever thankless jobs need to be doing, without benefits or renumeration. This time, she's being made to work traffic control, slowing down and/or stopping anyone who's going too fast and going through places they're not supposed to be going. How boring.
