In ancient Japan, there was once a swordsman named Izuna Jinkuro. He was the last master of Oboro Sword Style, which was designed to be used with Muramasa swords, having killed his master and any other practicioners. As his life drew close to ending due to a terminal illness, he sought out Yagyu Yukinojyo, seeking to use a forbidden sword technique to take over his body. Unfortunately... his fiance jumped in the way. The misaimed technique destroyed Jinkuro's body and put his soul in Momohime's, forcing hers out. Both of them were then blown to the underworld. Ever since, the demure princess and the jaded swordsman have been sharing the same body, their souls vying for control and bickering while Jinkuro attempts to track down his missing Kuromitsu Blade so that he can take over a new, better body. Even with her new body, Jinkuro remains an unbeatable wielder of the blade, though she dislikes her new body's inability to handle sake.
Princess' Body: Despite possessing the soul of one of the greatest swordsmen in ancient Japan, the body that Jinkuro is currently using has a very low threshold for damage and a lower ability to sustain and recover from damage in short periods of time. (+1 To All Heal Times)
Unstable: The fact that both Momohime and Jinkuro both swap between control of the body is putting its wear on the form slowly but surely. While not noticable now, and noticably slowed by the Multiverse, it's entirely possible that in time Momohime's body will simply break down and cease to be. <Hook for future TP>
Needs Muramasa Blades: The Oboro Style requires Muramasa blades, or at least demon blades, to properly be executed. If Momohime Jinkuro is not in possession of a demonic blade or a Muramasa blade, they will not be capable of fighting at anywhere near their true potential.
Sword Breaker: Another downside to the heavy strains that the Oboro style puts on the swords it uses is that even Muramasa blades are prone to shattering under the force of the swordstrikes and the drawing out of their internal techniques. Lesser swords are absolutely unusable for Momohime, shattering after a single strike more often than not.
Two Souls, One Body: Momohime's soul and Jinkuro's soul both vye for control of Momohime Jinkuro's body. Though Jinkuro is most often in control, Momohime can override and push Jinkuro out of the body if he does something she vehemently objects to. This system of push and shove keeps Momohime from being able to control the body all the time, but Jinkuro from being the outright dominant.Obviously Abnormal: People with magic sight can almost instantly tell that Momohime Jinkuro is not normal. A blue or green soul (depending on which personality is in control) can be seen floating around the body at almost all times and, when Jinkuro is in control, it looks as though the soul simply does not properly match the vessel, making it very hard for him to pretend to be Momohime around trained observers.
