A young woman, with a successful singing career and the admiration of the public, who enjoyed her music and her performances. A songwriter, whose lyrics moved people, and though the content was seen as full of emotion and depth (and some controversy), Red would always say that her work 'spoke for itself'. After a failed assassination attempt by a group of people, known as the Camerata, she doesn't have a voice at all. Stolen from her by the Camerata, but she took something of theirs, as well. The Transistor. A weapon, that she found buried in the chest of a man she had been with, that fateful night. The sword absorbs and uses programs, and these programs bestow on it a variety of combat abilities. And by extension, on her. No doubt a powerful tool the Camerata had been using to rule Cloudbank from the shadows, she uses it to fight the Process, an army of AI's seemingly hellbent on consuming the city of Cloudbank and the people that live there. With no voice of her own, the Transistor speaks for her, the man who was killed in her place seemingly absorbed into it, and able to communicate with the outside world. Though she's a singer and not a trained fighter, the Transistor's power and some iron-clad determination have gotten her by, so far. But, with Unification, who can tell how much further the Process might spread? Her search is for the Camerata, to bring them down for what they did to her and to Cloudbank, and the man who was with her, too. Perhaps for a way to stop the Process, as well.

MUTE - Red cannot speak. Her voice has been taken by her, through unknown means, and as of right now, no science or magic is capable of restoring it. Oddly enough, as long as she is not speaking, she can still make noise. Speaking or singing with words are impossible for her now, however. Part of her resides within the Transistor, and it is likely this part that makes up her voice.

BREAK - The Transistor's power is the only thing that protects Red. Otherwise, she's just a woman, and one that's not all that experienced with fighting on her own, without the powerful tool that is the Transistor. Assuming she'd ever seperate from the Transistor for more than a few moments at a time, taking it from her is a sure way to weaken her. Destabilizing the device through prolonged combat is also effective.

MEMORY - The Transistor has memory requirments, and this allows only four Functions to be carried into battle at any given time. Red has to choose them beforehand, but can't do so in the middle of a fight. While she can use several in passive and support roles, only those four can be used in an offensive manner.

INTERFERENCE - If exposed to a high amount of junk data, strong energy waves, or any other sort of massive amounts of localized interference, the Transistor tends to act and behave erratically, often rambling nonsensically and responding more slowly to Red's whims. It makes it more difficult for her to fight and communicate, in these instances.
