The familiarity of repetition was a mechanism that drove Ryxinel when faced with adversity. Every time something would lash out his family, and even Ravnica, the only brother of the trio would become a recluse within the Dragonsforge high atop Nivix, or the alternate forge atop Thirix. While for a day, he had to take on the mantle of Guildmaster due to the line of succession coming to him after Rhapsody, today, he was helping in the forges with many other mage wrights to complete a common goal. Thianel's reconstruction.

The sound of a hammer on metal would ring out hundreds of times this day, but only his own would be heard. Goblins, mage wrights, and even Corona Arclite were united in a common goal, but between each swing all that the red dragon could think of was the Izzet League and what else they would need to do in the following days.

  • Strike*

1. Reconstruct Thianel. While he was not a visible presence in the Multiverse, he was still a teacher to many within the guild. Perhaps he had insights into why things had gone so wrong.

2. The Namamura District required protection. With no one to lash out against there would be people within and outside the Izzet League that would want revenge for what had transpired at Presentation Day. The Boros had pledged aid, Trianica, Selesnya, the Union, but more was needed. Hatred would wrap itself around the sector like a noose if nothing was done.

3. Within 3 full days, the Izzet Sector would be required to reopen. The laws were clear. They stated that a sudden closure of a guild district can only last for 3 full days. Security across the whole district would have to be high. The Izzet was vulnerable. Rhapsody was vulnerable. There were those that would tie the entire guild down if they found the opportunity.

The rope of hate that had wrapped around everything Ryxinel held dear was held by the complex knot of betrayal. He could see all the parts to pull at, but with no end open, it was like a legend he heard of from Earth. An enigmatic puzzle that if undone would lead to the fulfillment of one's desires if solved. He also knew how the tale ended. A man simply used a sword to get what he wanted.

  • Strike*

The blade being worked on was not meant for Thianel, it was meant for himself. A large blade suitable for a dragon to use. He would be like that man from the story. He would cut the cord, slice the knot, remove the rope of hatred and save everyone he could. Who the sword would be used on was piece of the puzzle he had not yet found. Not yet. With the blade at his back, he would return to the first item on his list, but the thoughts of everything would continue until the forges went cold.

  • Strike*

The forges rarely went cold.
