Profile

Dragons are thought to be the greatest beings in the galaxy. The first masters of spaceflight, fearsome warriors, brilliant scholars, and the founders of great civilizations. But something has been killing them, and stealing their essence. That creature is Terek. He himself is a dragon, though a type never seen before. And he possesses an ability that no other dragon has; the ability to absorb their essence upon their death. Each bit of essence he absorbs makes him stronger, and brings him one step closer to his destiny of destroying all of the dragons and absorbing their power. Using this power, finishing them off, will make him entirely unstoppable. In order to achieve his goals, he has aligned himself with the Confederate forces, as the Union would strongly disapprove of his particular vocation. Although Terek is a very cunning, ruthless individual when it comes to his prey, he is not entirely incapable of showing mercy, or even kindness, to non-dragons. He gladly accepts the help of his Confederate allies in his hunts, and is willing to assist them in their own ventures in return. In combat, he wields his massive plasma axe, Dragonfury, his custom built Annihilator Rifle, as well as his natural abilities, like his claws and plasma breath attacks. There is an unfortunate downside to his abilities, however - Not feeding on dragon essence for an extended period of time will render him weak, and the destruction of the Syphon device could very well result in his death.

Design Flaw: Going too long without recharging the Syphon will result in a loss of all the essence that has been collected by it, rendering Terek as weak as he was before he began using the Syphon in the first place. This places him back at square one and would render all of the effort he has put into his crusade wasted. The closer he gets to this deadline, the more reckless his is prone to acting in order to acquire the essence he needs, growing more and more desperate with each passing hour. He is always seeking a way to fix the issue with the Syphon's essence retention, to prevent it from happening in the first place.

Syphon Damage: While the Syphon is designed to be extremely durable, if it is damaged in combat, the damage can cause Terek to be essentially disconnected from the essence stored within it, rendering him temporarily weakened, as well as causing severe pain. He takes extra care to try to avoid having this happen, as it would leave him extremely vulnerable to an enemy. (PL 28)

Obsessive: The betrayal by fellow members of his species has struck him deeply, to the point where he has made it his main goal in life to hunt down and wipe out the entire species. With the arrival in the Multiverse and the discovery of many different types of dragons beyond those he knew, his desire to wipe them out has grown, and he can be distracted simply by the potential to strike at a dragon.

Marked for Death: Terek has been marked for death by the leadership of his world. He is branded a criminal, and as such, anything related to his world is affected. Bounty hunters and law enforcers constantly hunt him down, and the general public is not very forgiving of him or his crusade.
