The Legend of Korra-2
Nearly seventy years ago, the world - once torn apart by war, was brought to peace again by Avatar Aang.
The Avatar - the bridge between the human world and the spirit world, destined to bring balance to both. And in the bustling steampunk Republic City, a city that was built under Aang's eye, is a place where benders and non-benders can live in harmony. For you see, bending is the act of manipulating the select element with the power of mind and motion, and all benders can only manipulate one element in their lifetime, and select individuals are born with that ability, generally according to their 'tribe' and where they are born.
The Avatar is born with the ability to bend all four elements - earth, air, fire, and water. And every time the Avatar dies, he or she is reincarnated into a new form.
Enter Korra. A member of the Water Tribe - a tribe who boasts the ability to control the element of water, she demonstrated from an early age that she had the ability to bend three elements readily. And the fourth, air? Well, it comes and goes. So under the watchful eye of the statue of Avatar Aang in Republic City harbor, Korra trains with Tenzin, one of the few surviving Airbenders - the son of Avatar Aang, who was one of the last Airbenders from a genocide a few generations ago - Korra trains with Tenzin to gain mastery over that final element of air.
Meanwhile, Republic City is rife with turmoil - a large portion of non-benders feeling as though they are second-class citizens compared to the bending population.
And then their world was thrust into the multiverse. What could go wrong?
