Profile

At first glance, Tsubasa Kazanari is nothing more than a internationally known Japanese pop star - someone who enjoys putting herself out there and reacting off the beat of the crowd as she performs. In reality, this is the cover for Tsubasa's real job, which is assisting the Mobile Disaster Response Corps as a Symphogear and Armed Gear user. Using the power of her voice and the power of magic, Tsubasa is capable of summoning special armor and weapons to her to fight the deadly Noise that walk her Earth. When she's not performing for a crowd, Tsubasa is a extremely reserved and quiet person, who is emotionally distant and unattached to most everyone around her. She views herself as nothing more than a blade - a weapon to help save the world.

ANTI-LINKER: While Tsubasa is considered a 'natural' Symphogear user and candidate, and thus does not necessarily require LiNKER to raise her compatibility link between herself and her Relic, she can still be affected by a drug known as 'Anti-LiNKER', which temporarily lowers the link between herself and her relic. If enough of it is used, she can be forced out of her Symphogear entirely.

BROKEN BIRD: Tsubasa underwent a despair event when she lost her partner and her best friend, Kanade. She is severely emotionally detached from most everyone in the world, and is too afraid to let herself get to close or let anyone else get to close to her. She is normally slightly cynic, and sees herself, most of the time, as nothing more than a weapon to save the world.

JUST HUMAN: Outside of her Symphogear, Tsubasa is an ordinary human being. While she has trained for years to push her body so she is good in combat outside of her Symphogear, she can still be hurt, or even catch sickness. Injury or sickness taken outside of her Symphogear requires recovery times, even if she is capable of summoning her Symphogear. She also doesn't possess the Symphogear-given enhanced strength, speed, endurance, and agility.

MUTED MUSIC: A Symphogear and Armed Gear user must be able to sing - this is why it is known as the 'Power of Song'. If Tsubasa were unable to sing, then she would not be able to summon her Symphogear, use it to it's max potential, activate her Swan Song, or summon her weapon.

RELIC: Outside of her Symphogear, Tsubasa wears her Relic - a small, red crystal - on a silver chain around her neck. Tsubasa requires this shard of her Relic in order to transform, so if it were stolen or come up missing, she would be unable to transform.

SWAN SONG: The Swan Song is a major undertaking by a Symphogear user to push themselves to their limits in order to use their strongest weapon available. However, doing so requires high compatibility between a Symphogear user and their Relic. Tsubasa, classified as a natural Attuned, still requires high compatibility, for using it leaves her comatose and hospital-bound for a few days. If she were to use her Swan Song while severely injured, she could kill herself.
