The foot bath at the center of the town emits a whole lot of steam, and most of the villagers are indoors at this time of night. There's a couple  freshly made snowmen lying around, including one looking like a cat with an odd facial expression. https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/kiseki/images/b/b8/Ymir_6_%28sen2%29.png Once Mikoto arrives at the Schwarzer Mansion, she's greeted by Elise....And a Husky. The Husky barks excitedly, almost jumping up on Mikoto.  "Down, Badeux," Elise says, gently waving the family dog down. "Good evening." Elise says, closing her eyes giving Mikoto a rather stiff curtsy. "Rean's upstairs. He should be down in a moment." She opens her eyes, and just...stares at Mikoto for a second. "Is that Mikoto?" Rean says from upstairs, and rushes down the stairs to greet her. "It's nice to see you! Again, congratulations on the whole adoption thing. So do I call you Mikoto Konoe now, or-" Elise coughs, and Rean rubs the back of his head, slowly coming down from his excitement for Mikoto. "Er, right. I don't think you two have properly met yet. Elise, this is Mikoto, Mikoto, Elise." Elise stiffly curtsies, again. "It's a pleasure to meet you." 

:'''{{#var:7002|Mikoto Shimizu (7002)}} has posed:''' The Husky nearly knocks over Mikoto, to which she laughs and provides the doggo as much petting as he can take.  She seems exceptionally happy at the fact that it's a dog, and assumes it is a very good boy.  With a laugh, and possibly being licked in the face once or twice, she looks at Elise.   She gives a short bow in return, "Yeah, we've met...when you walked down into the old schoolhouse, and when the rebels took you and the princess hostage.  Though with Rean doting on you, I might have not been that noticeable." To Rean she shrugs, "Probably not, I still plan on keeping my assumed name.  Not out of disrespect to my new family, but out of respect to my old one.  And yes, I was just reminding your sister we've briefly met a few times before." "So did you ever apologize to her for you being stupid?" she says with a glance towards Rean.  "But yes, Hi!  I am Mikoto, Magical Girl of Envy.  Nice to meet you!" she says with another bow.  "So there, are we all awkward out?"

"I think I'll leave you two alone for now." And with that, Elise heads upstairs herself. Badeux is still here, though he wanders off to lie down near the fireplace in the living room pretty quickly. "Anyway, how about we open up that present from Touta?" Rean says, walking into the living room. He sits down on he couch, pulling out the little box. Once Mikotot is sitting down, he opens it and... It's mistletoe. Specifically, a magically enchanted mistletoe that floats above the pair once the box is opened. Rean stares at it for a second, before he remembers what misteltoe traditionally represents. Rean groans. "TOUTAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" 

:'''{{#var:7002|Mikoto Shimizu (7002)}} has posed:''' Mikoto shrugs, Elise's attitude is probably to be expected.  Hopefully, it'll improve with time. However, she is determined to enjoy this outing with Rean.  She never got to see his home before, so it was a nice change of pace.   Once the box is opened, she starts laughing a little at the revelation of the gift.  Rean groans, which causes her to laugh a little longer.  Of course, Rean might be distracted by his overwhelming rage for Touta.   She takes the moment to lean over, place a hand on Rean's chest, and kiss him.  Mikoto, if anything, is forward.

Did he think he was hopeless or something? ...Ok, that was probably true, but he didn't need /that/ much help, right? Or...maybe it was just Touta's way of cheering them on. He laughs too, liking this interpretation a tiny bit more. There were a lot of people looking out for the two of them, wasn't there? Then Mikoto just goes ahead and kisses him. Rean leans into the kiss as well, pulling Mikoto closer to him. Once they're done, REan pulls back, grinning. "Happy holidays, Mikoto."
