Alberichstadt, 10pm.

Ren Tanaka stands on a rooftop, looking over the- town? He's also got a newspaper there, because nobody ever really thinks to look for people sleeping on the streets on rooftops. Not that he didn't manage to get into the CVJM, he just thinks other people can get by better than him.

But he's not thinking about sleeping arrangements. He's thinking about...

"The Persona Game shows you everything that you are. No lies, nothing hidden. The complete, utter truth. The worst thing is?... My reflection, the Shadow. All of it was true."

For Hoshi to explain something like that to him made him feel ... ... it made him feel a lot of things. Things about himself. In fact, he didn't even realize that it also made him think things about her- about how much of a brave, self-sure person she was, to be able to withstand that- because he understood and accepted them so quickly that they didn't even make a blip on his concious memory. He simply was Sure of them and accepted them in a moment so quick that it didn't even offer time for introspection.

But as for him...

Again, he thinks of what makes him who he is. The transience. The hidden identity. The lies. Why is it, that when he can remember something that happened decades ago perfectly, he cannot truly remember what motivates him to act the way he does?

And why is he so scared of knowing?

What could befall him, next time he goes into the mirror forest?

And now he's made a friendship with Amakasu Hoshi, how soon will it be before he has to go back there?
