		+	Kuklos ka Ellestaria, Dragon Maiden of Atlantis. The last of her kind. Unlike the other five survivors of the initial calamity, Ellestaria had seen the island sink with her own two eyes. She had seen the horror on even the faces of the Mainlanders, people who had hated her kind, when an entire population vanished.

		+	She had not cried.

		+	She had walked in the watery grave of Atlantis, seen her home and its utter lifelessness. Crumbling majesty that was once the greatest in the world, now a distant memory.

		+	She had not cried.

		+	In her cupped hands, a single daisy, sparkling and brilliant white as the day it was plucked. And on its petals, a few rolling, salty droplets streak the immaculate surface.

		+	A deep breath quivers her chest, and the sorceress reluctantly places the flower in its casing once more. A precious reminder... but not the most precious of all.

		+	A little over year ago, Ellestaria wouldn't have cared. Six months ago, she would have stormed out of the manse, crackling with power, in a rage and fury to throw herself in a futile mission to destroy the one responsible. The Union was her surrogate family, perhaps, but it was Amalthea who brought her happiness. Life without her...

		+	Would go on.
		+
		+	Ariel slept in the other room, still innocent of the news. She would live... for her daughter's sake. For the more precious reminder of her... Mate. She would move on, and she would fight with the Union, futile or not. There was always Hope. The innocent child in the other room proved that. She would continue on...
