|Profile=Yang Xiao Long. Older sister to Ruby Rose and a Huntress in training at Beacon Academy. She's happy-go-lucky, always willing to put herself out for others. However, due to her Aura, the power of her soul to protect herself, and the special ability known as a Semblance that comes with it, she has a few very interesting quirks. She enjoys fighting, so much so she'll throw herself into a battle with little forethought. Linked to this is a very protective streak when it comes to her hair, so much so she can easily fly into a rage should a single strand be taken. This said, Yang is a very caring and pragmatic woman, placing the welfare of her friends and allies above her own. She is haunted by poor choices she made when younger, and strives to become strong enough to protect those she cares about going forward.
|Powers=Aura: Aura in the world of Remnant means an outward projection of the Soul, it can be likened to Chi in a sense. It acts as both a kind of armour, protecting the body from harm, and the main focus of attack, triggering effects in weapons, used directly in effects akin to magic, and also boosts physical abilitys, including strength, endurance, speed and agility, it has a limit to its capacity, which can be tracked using special equipment. Yang's Aura is a fiery conflagration that empowers her physical strikes and absorbs damage inflicted, adding it to her own strength. (See: Absorption Field.)

Absorbtion Field: Yang's Semblance, a special ability that comes from great attunement with Aura, acts as a kind of absorbtion field. Most types of attack against her cause damage as normal, but also funnel that damage into her subsequent strikes. It grows in power, so long as her Aura, or 'Soul Energy' remains intact. It is also linked very closely with her temper(see +flaw: Berserker)
|Skills=Martial Arts: Yang is an adept martial artist, her style reminiscent of Boxing or Kickboxing with a few more exotic moves folded into it. This is enhanced by her weapon of choice.
|Assets=Ember Celica: Yang's weapon is a pair of ShotGauntlets that form a pair of wristlets in their inactive state. They carry approximately 12 shots of Dust-munitions each, that come in a few varieties. The first are Red cases with Gold tips, this seem to act like regular buckshot shells, but have no physical projectiles, enhancing a punch with added force. The second are orange cases with red tips, that fire medium-ranged explosive bolts with each punch.

Bumblebee: Yang's motorcycle. It has no special features, except being fast enough to keep up with an advanced suit of power armour on a freeway, and agile enough to dodge traffic as well as objects thrown by the suit.

|Disadvantages=You could have just said 'No': Yang often throws herself into battle with little forethought. Either through joy in combat, or simply seeking a thrill, this woman often doesn't think before she acts. She's also very flippant about ruffling other people's feathers, both in and out of combat.

I Burn: Part of Yang's Semblance comes from her hair. Much like the myth of Samson. Knowing this, she's intensely protective of her hair, and can easily fly into a rage should even a single strand be damaged. This overrides her usual happy-go-lucky attitude, and bursts her Semblance in a flaming aura which consumes a lot of her energy. This can have mixed results, especially if a fight hasn't lasted very long, meaning the burst will be less powerful and likely wasted, leaving her with less endurance to continue a prolonged engagement.

Instead of Sweetheart, you can just call me SIR: Yang is about as subtle as being hit in the face with a baseball bat. She runs her mouth without engaging any form of tact, so can come off as abrasive and rude to some. She's also very straight forward when asking for information. VERY, straight forward.

Close Range Fighter: Despite her alternative ammunition, Yang struggles against opponents that can maintain a long range against her. The bolts travel relatively slowly, so can be dodged by someone with their situation well in their awareness. This combined with her short temper and her Aura's ability, can cause her many problems.
