Alpha Centauri (613) has posed:
        MINING STATION ZEPHYR
        MAIN DEFENSE LINE

The massive rig floats in space, as much has it is a space station which mines, it is also the size large enough for the very conflict that rages on it time and time again. Here precious ores are mined and gathered. Smelted down and made into use for whoever controls the mining station.

The station has been in the Union's hands for some times, but one ally of the Confederacy seeks to change this. A new comer who has only been spotted once by a group of Unions out in Urbania. Confronted by Roll and her allies, including chased off that very same day as well with a heavy wake of destruction around him.

Explosions rock across the metal surface of the base, defense towers blown apart as missiles rocket from the darkness of space. Zipping across the metal surface as metal skids across metal, is a near ten foot tall robotic humanoid. Off white and gray in colors, gold optics that burn ever as bright as the very stars.

It races around the lasers shots fired by the non-elites and easily blasting them down with the Photon rifle in hand or gripping them solidly with his left hand and crushing the very helms they wear for protection into their skulls.

Whoever this was-- he was brutal, cold, and ruthless. Cold-- as perhaps the very metal of his body. For as lasers scorched the paint of his armor, he would swing his rifle around and open several more shots. Before reaching for his shield and then ramming several grown man aside as if they were rag dolls.

An Elite it would seem this machine was, and though the non-elites were slowly picking away at his armor, without the aid of another elite-- they may be in serious trouble.

Jeanne d'Arc (536) has posed:
Jeanne d'Arc finally has decided to show up on a target zone. It doesn't help that it's a target zone that is so unlike anything she's familiar with that she's utterly lost, but that doesn't entirely matter - what does matter is the fact that her allies are in trouble, and they must be rallied to battle. The first thing that marks her arrival is a sound not unlike the soft snickt of something metallic becoming undone.

Then there is the screeching noise of metal hitting metal, as the Saber of Black stands there, one hand wrapped around the hilt of a silver banner from which a white cloth embroidered with fleur de lises, the name 'Jhesus Maria', and some angelic and godlike imagry. Her violet eyes flare as she spots the strange 'Elite' that is in combat.

"Union, to me!" She cries, taking a step forward, her scabbard on her hip clanging against the metal of her metallic skirt with a smooth motion. "Confederate! Stop what you are doing! This is under the domain of the Union, and I will not allow it to fall!"

Alpha Centauri (613) has posed:
The Union quickly go to move to Jeanne d'Arc's side and many using this chance to just get the /hell/ out of here. As for the mysterious machine, those gold eyes turn to look at her in the distance. They glow gently as he goes to take a single step. The rifle standing by his side before his head tilts ever so slightly. "Saber Of Black.." He says with a cold tone in his voice. "..there seems to be so little known about you.. Perhaps I will amend this."

He then raises up the rifle, the far distant lights flickering off the edge of the metal. "You singularities..be they from my own people.. or impure.. are all the same to me, but maybe you can amuse the Empire and the Confederacy with what makes you so.. special." There was a glow from the Photon rifle as it charges up, before a blast is fired out from it. Speeding across the distance right for the armored woman.

Jeanne d'Arc (536) has posed:
Saber seems to be quite comfortable with rallying the non-elite soldiers and workers on point at the Mining Station. The woman's violet eyes flicker towards the mysterious machine across from her. She's had to learn a lot about the world, considering how little she knew of her own, and she knows what a gun is - but not much ... more than that. Thus, when he fires, she doesn't react in time, reeling backwards slightly from te shot, her metal armor singed.

"I do not fight for amusement." She says, flexing one hand, the metal gauntlet creaking. Then she lifts her hand from the banner, before darting in. For being in armor, she's surprisingly agile on her feet, one hand wrapping around the hilt of the blade on her hip as she draws in a quick slash across her opponent. "I do not wish to fight you! Just leave!"

Alpha Centauri (613) has posed:
When the woman suddenly crosses the distance, Alpha Centauri takes note of the sudden speed. She comes in with a slash strike of her blade and the Accretian raises up his tower shield, which her metal blade strikes. It impacts some type of force-field over the metal. The edge of her sword cutting past it in blue sparks as a cut across the tower shield becoming apparently once her blade leaves

During the block Alpha Centauri puts away his rifle, reaching then for his hip and drawing out a hilt. With a flare of bright plasma light a blade is formed, glowing brightly as fire itself, if not almost as if crafted by the sun.

The much taller mechanoid steps in toward the woman, using his shield as a mean to distract her back, before he attempts to take advantage of this with an upward swing of his blade toward her.

Jeanne d'Arc (536) has posed:
Jeanne has been moderately trained in the art of fighting those who fight with shields (and fighting with a shield herself!) However, the near five-foot height difference as well as being a mechaniloid and not a human are throwing her off, although she is confident enough in her ability to land hits. She lets out a surprised breath of air at the plasma rifle.

Okay, she's from the 14th century, she's new to *everything*.

He lands another hit and she hisses, her violet eyes blazing, but she does not falter where she stands. She brings her sword around in a swift crescent. Notably, her blows are not killing ones. Strange.

Alpha Centauri (613) has posed:
Alpha Centauri is indeed larger then the power knight before him, but-- in all silence, he respects her resolve. Not giving up, to keep fighting even when the odds are perhaps stacked against her. Yet from his battle with Toph and even those who came to the defense of one of the Singularities-- he has learned that this... New Sector.. is not a place to underestimate the Impure.

When Jeanne swings in with her blade, the Accretian steps back and meets the strike with his plasma blade. Thanks to the laws of the Multiverse, the two different types of swords impact, metal against plasma and blue flames flash out from the impact point as they hold contact.

Those gold optics stare her down as he speaks with his metallic voice, "Are you afraid to terminate someone?" He asks her, noting the style of swing.

Then with a slide of his own blade, he moves to throw her off balance, by not only the move of his own sword, but then sliding in with his shield to bash her away with his sheer strength-- yet he holds back, ever so slightly. "..Or are you still hoping I will concede to an impure?"

Jeanne d'Arc (536) has posed:
"I have never killed a soul." Saber remarks, softly. "I intend to keep it that way."

He moves in with his shield with a bash that sends the Servant flying backwards into the nearest wall, impacting against it with a shudder, sword clattering to the ground. With a strange noise, Jeanne rips herself from the wall, staggering to her feet carefully before she kneels to pick up the sword.

She shifts her weight, before looking at him. "What do you mean by 'impure?'" She asks, before moving in, feinting left but actually coming in with a swift right-hand swing.

Alpha Centauri (613) has posed:
The Accretian watches as the female knight is knocked clearly away from his own attack. Though capturing this point is vital-- so is perhaps gathering the combat data as well. Alpha Centauri knows he'll need to balance this out and that means picking what he does /carefully/.

As Jeanne comes back, he quickly raises up his shield once more. The sword slams into the shield, cutting across the odd metal and slashing across the odd red emblem imprinted into the metal work. The sheer force is actually enough to cause the much larger mechanoid to slide back a bit.

Spark fly off the shield as the damage perhaps has impacted the field generator on it and causes Alpha Centauri to do a minor head tilt.

The Accretian then goes to step back as he flourishes his own plasma blade. "Impure," He says calmly, not even seeming bothered by this battles possible turn of events, "Is what you are. We are the pure-- we are the perfect."

Alpha Centauri then rushes in as his thrusters fire up to suddenly have him dash in at high speeds, "Anything less is the impure... and the impure.. are to be purged!" then with a hard spin of his thrusters he spins himself around the sword swinging across at great speeds with the turn, before being he rotates his foot and then goes to slam the edge of his shield into her-- and possible into the station itself below.

Jeanne d'Arc (536) has posed:
"I do not understand." Saber remarks. "Even the most impure should be offered the chance to become pure, yes? So you are deciding without any real context that because I am 'impure' you must ... purge me." The shadow of this conversation in terms she understands hants her a little, devotee of the Lord her God she is.

She shakes her head, though, as he dashes in, stepping to the side at the same time so he goes past her in a flourish of her skirts, before he slams the shield into her. She's knocked down again, dropping to one knee as it indents into the floor. She still holds her blade though - and as she gets up, she shifts her weight forward, aiming to come up underneath his blade, much closer than she was before.

Alpha Centauri (613) has posed:
Alpha Centauri drops the shield down and his left hand lets go of the handle as it detaches from his arm entirely. His HUD keeping the woman in his targeting sights, locked on at all times. "If one is to be pured, then that is the choice of the Administration. Until I am told other wise-- I act as they have instructed me."

Jeanna has a chance right then as he pulls away from the shield as she steps in. He goes to step away, but his larger size makes him a touch slower to her more nimble speed at the smaller height. Though he does rotate around in their blade dance, her sword cuts a part of his chest armor, slashing across it in blue sparks of light as metal hits metal.

As he comes back around, his left hand is going for the other hilt as his hip. The plasma blade activating. So far, he has not gone for his rifle again-- nor has he activated his missiles. He has kept this in her court of battle. That of a Melee combat, though he has moved from sword and shield-- to dual wielding that of two blades.

Two plasma blades which he brings to bear as he suddenly steps right around and goes to unleash them in a rounding strike, before bringing them both down in a cleaving motion. "..and I doubt you ever let yourself to become pure.. as the only ones who are pure-- are the Accretians. ..For flesh is weak." There was almost a sinister sound in his voice. "..and Metal is strong."

Jeanne d'Arc (536) has posed:
Were Jeanne not one with a very specific flaw, she'd start being able to correlate this to like, the Holocaust or something similiar. Instead, however, she frowns, attributing it to something like the Egyptians and the Jews and the biblical plagues and such like that in her head. It actually makes sense if you think about it a bit circular. Jeanne likes that sort of thinking though. THrows people off the straight path.

"Oh." She finally vocalizes- right as a pair of swords come cleaving down into her. Jeanne lets out a noise. It is a very strangled one that is a noise of pain that she is doing her best to not let out, her face working as the Servant remembers that she cannot lose like this. She has sworn to stand and protect those that work in the Union, that she, as a Union elite and ally, has sworn to help.

She rallies towards her banner with a swift motion afterwards, visibly bleeding, metal armor rent in places, cloth ripped in others. She swirls around, the long white banner falling over her shoulder as she focuses in on her opponent. Her hands come up, the blade pointing down in some sort of form of prayer. "... thy will be done." Then she strikes, her blade twirling around as she does a clean butterfly sweep, aiming more for skill and speed over strength.

Alpha Centauri (613) has posed:
The Accretian stands ready, those gold optics still staring her down, and as she comes in with her sweeping strikes. the metal humanoid tries to match. This time though, Jeanne comes out on top of this sword battle.

Her swings cut across his armor, slashing a deep gash across his massive shoulder pauldorns. Another strike impact his own arm as well as it comes around, the blade carrying a bit of the mechanical fluid on its very edge.

Alpha Centauri nearly stumbles around, thanks to the sheer speed and not having the proper time to make a defensive move. She was brave, determined, devoted-- he can silently admire these traits. It is a shame though-- in his mind-- she is such a waste. To have her as one of the Empire.. that would be wonderful for the unit.

But he also knows that this Saber of Black will never surrender to become one of them-- but he would also not expect anything less either. As he comes in, his strikes act as a Feint, in hopes to catch her blade in a parry block, if she does not parry though, his blades will swing by as he changes his footing position. "For a singularity---" He then dashes back to get some room from himself and her. "-- you fight well. It is a shame you will never become part of the Empire.. though perhaps in another way... you can be."

"But let me Introduce myself for your.. report." That is when Alpha Centauri dashes in at his full speed, a near blurring pace of 300 mph. "I am A Zero Six Dash C N T Seven One Nine." As he speaks this he comes in, then flips over her, before coming in from behind to swing his sword around at her back side.

Then after the first swing, he goes to swing his other blade around, displaying off his own inhuman speed, "Codename.." Then with a leap into the air he comes to bring down both swords, "Alpha Centauri." If she is avoid the cleaving downward strike from the sky. The impact of the blades upon the ground will cause a massive blue spark that flashes across the very darkness of the air itself, lightning up the air around them in brilliance.

Jeanne d'Arc (536) has posed:
"... You know my name." Jeanne says, easily. This doesn't surprise her; not when she is Saber of Black, the direct opponent of Mordred, the Saber of Red. Well, he knows she's the Saber of Black. Anymore than that, she doesn't want to get let out anytime soon, preferrably. Evidently her name carries more than it should (to her) within the Holy Grail War.

He moves. He is faster than she can follow at points even as Saber, warrior of the Holy Grail War. Therefore, when the blades impact, she is near helpless, and crashes hard as the plasma flares, the burn of them radiantly brilliant... and for the briefest of moment to the martyr, terrifying. She loses her blade again, and is cowed, bleeding yet again, more rents and tears visible. He is actively winning this fight, but she has not yet fallen unconcious - she still can stand and fight.

Her hand scrabbles for her blade. Sometimes, you just have to be obvious - and she pushes herself, and her blade forward, in a straight stab.

Alpha Centauri (613) has posed:
Jeanne rushes in, continue to show her resolve. The sword slams into the side of his abdominal area and dig in pretty deep, however this doesn't seem to slow down the Accretian as he simply raises up his foot and goes to shove her back with a hard kick.

Alpha Centauri ignores the 'pings' in his HUD about the damage done. The mechanical being then marches toward her, his plasma blades glowing brightly against the darkness. "That was... unwise." he says calmly, before he then goes to shut down the plasma blades and if she isn't quick enough he will try to grab her by her own face.

Then if he has a hold of her, with his sheer strength and size-- slam her into the very ground onto of the station. It was a brutal move-- but now-- after that attack. He was done playing games.

Jeanne d'Arc (536) has posed:
That kick impacts her in the stomach, and she goes flying backwards again, skidding to a stop in her metallic boots that make a harsh scraping noise against the similiarly metal floor, before she stands up, tossing her head, flicking her braid over her shoulder as she gives him a nod. Sometimes, you have to do dumb things, and that thought shows in her violet eyes.

Saber moves in as he moves towards her though, using her smaller build to get in under that reaching hand, letting out a wordless cry as she attempts to get her blade in his hands and cut deep, deep into his side, in hopes he won't be able to react due to missing the grab.

Alpha Centauri (613) has posed:
Jeanne was a nimble woman, she was small too. Alpha Centauri realized that he made a /poor/ calculation in letting his defense down like that and yet-- there was /so/ much to be learned from this. As the woman ducked under his grab, her sword slashes across his armored side. Blue sparks fly off from the impact point, mechanical fluid running along her blade even as she moves it away.

Alpha Centauri almost falls down to his knee, but he catches himself. The stab down low, the cut along his arm, and even now the slash along his side slowly dripping mech fluid. It may remind one of blood, but its off color says other wise.

His gold optics flickered gently as he could only let out a momentary chuckle. His hands then reached for his blades once more and with a battle cry of a roar, he pushed off with his foot and leaps right at her.

Both of those swords come down, the sparks hit the ground in a brilliant flash, but it was a feint--- a setup. As the flash sparks with a brilliant glow that is near blinding he comes right back in with another push off to close any distance that she would have tried to make. His sword arms cross, before he swings them both outward in a pincer like move, the plasma crossing in that moment, glowing brightly as the energy is fed between the two blades as they cross and slash out at her.

Jeanne d'Arc (536) has posed:
This is a call to arms... gather soldiers... it's time to go! To war!

Jeanne is staggered after the hit of her own, before she whips around to watch him seconds too late, especially at the sheer roar of his battlecry. Her eyes open wide. She hasn't ever really fought a two-weapon wielder - people were much more traditional in /her/ France after all, so he comes down viciously, the plasma biting into the metal covering of her chest and top of her torso, shredding the sturdy fabric of her dress and the skin beneath. He continues to draw blood.

Saber of Black does not falter. Still with her sword in her grip, as he goes down, she rises up, aiming to stick the tip of her sword deep into whatever his 'abdomen' counts for and then pulls it up and out in a single wrench.

Alpha Centauri (613) has posed:
The Accretian attempts to step back as she goes to jab into the same spot she has already made in his armor, the sword manages to find it once more, cutting in ever bit more, but Alpha Centauri is ever as stubborn as the woman he is facing.

Ah.. if only things were different...

When she goes to wench the blade up, Alpha Centauri goes to deactivate one of his blades and actually use his sheer strength to pull her sword arm away before he can do his. If his grip holds, those fingers of his try to dig into her arm. As if trying to get the blood on his very own finger tips-- or may even try to tear at her own skin. There is a low rumble from him of near static like sound.

He the attempts to throw her off balance a bit, before he swings the sword he holds in his other hand, aiming to seemingly give her a haircut-- which may be exactly what he is doing, cause if any strands come off. He'll be trying to get those as well.

Just-- what is he after?

Jeanne d'Arc (536) has posed:
Alpha reaches out, wrenching at Sabers arm with a rumble that makes her give a startled look up, her violet eyes widening. He barely manages to break the skin, and she pulls herself away as he pulls her, drawing her blade with her as his goes for her hair. Did he cut any? She can't actually tell, and it doesn't look like it. At least you got the couple of blood drops on your fingertips, Alpha.

Saber blinks at him. "What are you doing?" She demands.

Well, at least she asks the, uh... right questions? She then shifts her grasp, letting out a breath of air. She shifts her weight, drawing the blade up to her chest in a smooth movement, tip pointed at him as she charges in, feinting left before suddenly throwing her weight to the right, throwing her arm forward for a singular, mighty jab at his chest area on her way.

Alpha Centauri (613) has posed:
The blood Alpha Centauri does gather will have to be enough. Blood on his finger tips he reaches into one of his compartments to deposit. Though when she asks what he was doing, he does not say. Those gold optics only flicker as perhaps the only response given.

Though as Jeanne then comes in for her own strike, the Feint does cause him to move, but he swings himself such away that he brings his plasma blade in for a defensive parry. The two blades clash once more, as he looks directly at her yet again. "That is for me to know and you.. to never find out."

Alpha Centauri then goes to shove her back with his strength against his own blade, before he strafes directly back away from her at a pretty good clip. The Six panels on his shoulders then open, three on each. Then from those panels, six missiles explode outward, all streaking from the sky and then raining down at the female Knight's location. All to try and blanket her in a hailstorm of explosions.

Jeanne d'Arc (536) has posed:
Oh, don't say that. Know she's going to have to find out.

However, missiles? That's cheating. Well.. .cheaty-ish against a fourteenth-century Frenchwoman. However, she knows enough about them that Saber's instinctive reaction is to bolt... but unluckily, some of them get ahead of them and she's slumped against a wall, pretty much unconcious. She has lost a battle... for the first time in a long time.

Alpha Centauri (613) has posed:
Alpha Centauri sends the signal to the Confederacy to move right in. Though he himself-- isn't in the best of shape and after the explosions, he.. for a moment.. loses his target. Many of the Union members are already retreating and in that it makes it difficult for him to figure out where she went off too.

Those gold optics scan the area, looking through some of the structure with not so thick walls, until he at last spots her. Though as soon as he goes to step forward, a plasma shot slams in front of his feet. Those gold eyes slowly look at who, to see-- well-- another Accretian. Though their armor isn't as heavy has Alpha Centauri's-- they seem to be built for combat.

"Back Off, Centauri." They call out to him. Their voice different from Alpha's-- a bit more mechanical. "You won your battle." The Accretian then climbs down, before moving to carefully pick up Jeanne in his arms.

"...And what do you plan to do with her... Singularity?"

"Do with her? Take her someplace she can get aid." The other says calmly as he starts to step back toward the warp gate, keeping his weapon trained on Alpha. "So long, Enforcer. Hope you rust!" Then he jumps through the portal carrying Jeanne off to safe place, leaving Alpha Centauri only rumbling in annoyance.

Whenever Jeanne probably wakes up, she'll find herself taken away from the station and more then likely in Union care. As for the 'Singularity' who got her out of there before Alpha Centauri could finish the job...?

He is no where to be seen.
