Synopsis: When Echo's floating castle drops over the planetary plains, you better believe the bat will be jostled from the belfrey!
Cast of Characters: 615, 640

Echo (640) has posed:
It's more or less a regular day out here in the planetary plains. Well, where sunlight is actually touching it, anyway. Right now, Echo was relaxing, having a quiet evening, when for some reason... be it the magical paling that keep her castle aloft begin to... wane, suddenly. By wane, well, the entire thing actually begins to drop like the stone it is, as it's a giant crystal structure carved entirely from the rock around it. Picture any sort of floating castle, the spire of earth beneath it instead made up of a crystaline stalactite, as is.. the rest of it. She was just sitting at the dinner table relaxing after a meal when suddenly, the silverware in front of her begins to float towards the roof, as does the various other things scattered around--bones, bits of jewelry, probably a rat or two (though not Faruja, don't worry) and soon she too, along with the chair underneath her.

Then as suddenly as it began, the castle comes to a stop--not in the earth however, thankfully, but still hovering a few hundred feet off the ground, with the bat inside picking herself up and beginning to survey the devestation (read, cluttered mess) that is now the inside of her castle. From above came a CRASH from what had to be her vanity and dressers, unknowable amount of things broken and thrown around in there, along with whatever finery she had ensconced in the place. Heading down to the foyer, she peered out, realizing the candles had fallen from their candelabra, idly picking them up and righting them again with a gesture, now taking a peer outside the castle door to see just where she had wound up...

Ineryon (615) has posed:
It was the Multiverse, and Baron Ineryon Valos was an outlander who'd visited the planetary plains in the hopes of trying out some of the local seafood-- wild-caught, that is! The dark elf was not directly underneath Echo's Crystal Castle, as it so happened, yet, he did happen to feel the object descend rapidly before coming to a halt, not far from his position.

Other, less skillful beings without the kinds of magic at their disposal that the drow possessed had scattered in a panic upon seeing 'the sky fall', which would have put Chicken Little to shame! The sounds that came from above were irritating, so Ineryon pinched his nose in the small region right between his eyes, where a minor headache was developing, and inserted his spear back in its holster, since he needed a few minutes to dispel the disconcerting anguish; proper hunting could not be performed when one's concentration was askew! "....If that thing is liable to fall the rest of the way, then it'd be ideal if you could get it over with sooner than later. I'm not a fan of having to wait for 'the other shoe' to drop... or in this case, the shelter."

Echo (640) has posed:
The castle simply hovers above the fishing drow silently, high above. However, there seemed to be a small object falling from it, though it might appear as some sort of white bird like a seagull, as it got closer to the elf and to earth. The castle might even have been casting a shadow over the grassland here, an unnatural eclipse of sorts. Suddenly, upon a stone nearby, there is a poof of smoke and Echo is just standing there, casting a few glances around with a hand on her hip, as if she's just too cool for this banal countryside, or what have you.

"My castle ended up in a dump like /this/?" her voice is definitely feminine, clucking her tongue and spreading those white wings of hers. The heels she's wearing click beneath her as well, as she had alighted on a large stone of all things, just flat enough for her to stand on. "Sunlight... fresh air... the scent of trees..." she sighs like a prima donna and immediately retrieves a small tin from her dress, taking what looked like a clove rolled cigarette and immediately lighting that thing up with a spark of a fingertip, as if she had to escape all this healthy country via smoke.

Ineryon (615) has posed:
Ineryon rolled his eyes when Echo complained about where her gemstone fortress had nearly embedded itself, and he sneers, lightly, "...As I see it, this dump didn't land on Bat Rock Castle; Bat Rock Castle landed on it." As if to simultaneously imitate Malcom X's genuinely profound observation about how Earth's African-Americans had arrived in at least a few versions of Earth's Northern America, while parodying /Echo's/ complaint that a cruel fate had befallen her, the dark elf brought to light the point that /she/ was the trespasser!

....Well, from his point of view, that's how it went, because the castle was what fell, while the Planetary Plains were minding their own bees wax, abstaining from falling out of alignment, which Echo's abode failed to do! It's also possible that Ineryon was just antagonizing her needlessly, for whatever reason; waving his hand in front of him continously, he tries to shoo away the sooty plumes that erupt from the bat's cigarette, since he had no desire to inhale the miasmic aerosol that bombarded him in an inconvenient fashion-- the drow didn't drink alcohol for the very same reason.

Echo (640) has posed:
Echo had reduced the hand-rolled, seemingly clove rolled delight to a cylindrical tube of ash before she opened her eyes again, peering at Ineryon with some curiosity. Tapping that half of the ash away, Echo stood there with it tucked between her index and middle finger, keeping that hand against her hip. Smoking made you look older and cooler, after all, just like TV and movies and music stars taught us all back in the day. She blew the smoke out in his direction, nodding. "Don't mind the smoke, it's on me. So, who're you, dark man?" she blinked down at him and licked her fangs, standing there like she's surprised to see him.

"Is this where you live...?" she looked around, as if the fisher elf was just sort of camping out around here, as she hadn't seen anything around remotely resembling a dwelling. Besides her own, that is.

Ineryon (615) has posed:
When Echo brazenly waltzed over and decided to exhale fumes directly at Ineryon, the dark elf wheezed to a minor degree, placing more effort into dispersing whatever smoke he could with his hand. Eventually, he found the stuff to be so intolerable that he squinted his eyes in frustration, and attempted to mentally lock onto the cigarette, which contained things like lead, tar, and other minerals/substances which would completely surrender control to Baron Valos on a whim.

T Using his power to manipulate a number of these chemicals within the rolled wrapping, especially the metallic types of things coiled up, Ineryon would exert energy to have the chemicals that were harder than paper to try tear through the cigarette from the inside-out, effectively dismantling the whole thing. At the same time this was happening, he continued to flap his wrist to dismiss whatever smoke he could, while answering Echo's question, "This is where I live at this moment in time, but if you keep blowing that noxiousness into my trajectory of breathing, I may find myself living for a shorter duration than originally desired...." Rudely, he doesn't give his name, even though asked.

Echo (640) has posed:
Before Ineryon can make Echo's cigarette explode, she flicks it off into the grass--where it promptly explodes due to his influence and starts a crackling brushfire. Echo doesn't even notice it, still with her attention on the dark elf. "Noxious what?" she frowned a little and looked down at the drow as if he was a few screws loose, alot of candles but not all of them lit, ect. "What, all this fresh air getting to you too? Ugh, I know, it's disgusting," she made a dismissive wave of her hand, white furred red nailed hand, that is. Flapping her wings as if stretching--and unintentionally fanning the brushfire nearby into a full grown inferno, Echo still seemed oblivious to it.

"Now, I must find out what caused my castle to drop. Likely a lot of my things were tossed around inside, do you happen to want to make any money on cleanup service?" she asked casually.

Ineryon (615) has posed:
Ineryon observed as the cigarette was thoughtlessly tossed aside before the enactment of the unraveling had concluded, which ignited some of the grass, causing him to observe it nervously; he was not immune to fire, nor would he be in prime condition if he inhaled all the clouds of dark mist emerging from the flames. He's actually too heavily focused on the fact that Echo's fanning is reducing everything into embers to pay much heed to her seeming disinterest in the importance of the burning-- maybe she had media availed to ward off flares, yet, Ineryon was at least a sliver more concerned about not only what would happen to himself if he stayed in the presence of the conflagration.

Naturally, when Echo gave him an opportunity out of the predicament, he gave her an eyebrow cock, wondering if she were playing some kind of game... even so, her castle had to be safer than a hellish blaze, right? "I distrust you, although, I distrust this inflammation far more...." Moving closer to Echo, and hopefully away from the furnace, he hopes that this woman can escort him to a better place-- and if any accusations get flung around later on, Ineryon would not offer a shred of loyalty by taking the blame; Echo would have to take the heat, for having been the one who'd created it! "....Your proposition is acceptable."

Echo (640) has posed:
"Besides, aren't your kind more suited to dwelling underground? why would you be up here with all this... sun?" Echo raised a brow again, both of her knuckles against her hips as if the elf was beginning to worry her somehow. "Inflammation? Eww. I understand they have creams and salves for those kinds of things," the bat leaned back just a little, seemingly taken back by that. "Well, I won't tell anyone--" she begins to turn as if wondering what the heck Valos was so concerned with, coming face to face with the huge wreath of flame that had become the grass to that side of the rock.

"Oh, what happened there?" she sounded surprised, even, brows rising. "Little bit too stuffy for my tastes, unfortunately," she made another dismissive gesture and a shower of cold mist was flowing from her finger tips, summarily dousing the fire. Sure, it leaves behind charred, wet and blackened earth and grass, but that's likely to grow back promptly. "Alright then, I am in need of a maid, or servant or the like," she hopped down from the stone and beneath her a weird starry void appeared beneath her high heeled feet, though she seemed to be standing on it like it was perfectly solid, a flat surface even. She pointed down towards the odd portal, as if for him to hop in.

Ineryon (615) has posed:
Cupping a hand over his mouth as he awaited some means of transport to Echo's domain, Ineryon made an attempt to marginalize the smoke that mingled with the air that he was breathing, alas, if she didn't hurry up he'd have to make an escape of his own before becoming fuel to the fire amidst them! Narrowing his eyes demonstrating annoyance in his demeanor, in a subtle way, Baron Valos exclaimed, "Here you go asking if I'm supposed to be a subterranean denizen, and why exactly does a bat feel qualified to administer such questions, when she too should inhabit some filthy, wet, bug-guts-stained rock-pile of a cavern?" Bat calling the Kettle black; in the drow's defense, he was more of a dark-violet in pigment.

He's grateful that she banishes the fire with a hydrant spray stemming from a mystical reservoir, so much as he can guess, although... having already made the promise, Ineryon feels a touch uncomfortable entering the portal she opened, now that other means of escape were accessible. Reluctantly, he ends up trying to dive into the opening, in the hopes it will lead him somewhere that wasn't terribly dangerous.
