Location: Planetary Plains
Synopsis: A Black Dragon Shipping vessel and a Sundew vessel collide!
Cast of Characters: 319, Sarracenia

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
The planetary plains... they're flat and full of cows. That's pretty much it, for most people this place isn't all that interesting.

For traders and merchents though? There's plenty of work in moving tolls and crops, and aside from the occasional crop duster, the skies are open and easy enough to fly through. That might explain the ship.

floating through the air way above the fields, it looks a freighter, the kind you'd find out in the void, a giant metal box with engines, not very interesting on it's own, save for the image painted on it's side: A Black Dragon, curled around a shipping crate.

The ship's not doing anything interesting at the moment, ust passing through it seems.

Sarracenia has posed:
As that Black Dragon ship passes through, another large airship is passing through the plains. This ship looks like an old world sailing ship, except with propellers where sails would be. It moves easily through the air, sailing in the general direction of the Black Dragon freighter. They are just about to pass each other when there is a powerful gust of wind. Being a true airship, the wooden craft is pushed off course toward the freighter.

     CRASH!!

Pieces of wood go flying everywhere as the two ships collide nearly head on. The distressed cries of the crew on the airship can likely be heard by the pilot of the freighter, and if not, the sight of strange plant creatures with red bulb-like heads full of sharp teeth, large leaves for arms, and roots for feet falling through the air paints the picture for him or her.

Smoke errupts from the wooden ship as the two craft continue against each other, and it loses power. Several of the propellers stop spinning.

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
The pilot does in fact notice, visible through hte front windshield, the pilot frantically can be seen frantically, working the controlls as the ship leans to the side, engines struggling to keep it a float, windows along the side show more of the crew frantically running about inside.

There's a rumbling sound as the cargo moves, then moments later the siren goes off.

finally, something pops up on hte roof of the black Dragon ship, looks to be a short, scrawny person with pale blue hair, and what appears to be blue and green wings. he careflly peeks over the roof at the other ship. it's Fayt, and apparently he's trying to get a look at what the hell just happened.

Sarracenia has posed:
The engineers of the airship try to stabilize their ship, and as the freighter shifts there is a gut-wrenching cracking sound as wooden planks are torn asunder. As the short scrawn person emerges, he might notice that from the top hatch of the other ship a tall, elegant woman has emerged. Judging by her dress and crown, she could be some sort of royalty.

And judging by the hammer that is as tall as herself and looks twice as heavy, she is not the joking kind. She runs forward along the deck of her airship, stumbling every now and then as it shifts. She reaches the front rail and hangs on as she leans over to look at the other ship. Then...she sees the little man and suddenly points. "Hey! You! Shorty! You better have insurance on this big tub of yours! Do you realize the kinds of precious cargo this ship is carrying?!" she calls out, plenty loudly enough to be heard despite how far apart they are. And causing the plant creatures that are scurrying around behind her to cover where their ears would be if they had any.

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
Fayt's head picks up as he hears Sarracenia yelling. He's quiet for a few moments... then Sarracenia might hear a voice pick up over the radio. "This is Fayt Ravus speaking, we are aware of the situation, Excuse me if this comes off as somewhat blunt, but it might be best to save the threats, legal troubles and potential armed conflict for after we've ensured that our respective ships are safe." There's a pause, then. "My crews report that our hull is deformed, but hasn't been breached yet. Can you're ship safely detach from us while airborn or do we need to coodnate a landing first?"

Fayt sounds somewhat hurried, but otherwise does a decent enough job of keeping his composure despite what just happened.

Sarracenia has posed:
The princess blinks a few times, her finger still pointed at Fayt, as he speaks up. She looks down at a nearby plant man who grumbles a few things at her, then she looks back at Fayt. "Uh..." She lowers her finger slowly. "...we could detatch, but apparently my ship is no longer flight worthy. So...if you would not mind a coordinated landing, it would be safer for me and my crew."

Just as she finishes speaking a few more propellers fail. Her airship shudders and she flails as she is thrown off balance and lands on her rear. She quickly hops up, rubbing her backside. "Quickly!" she declares as her ship starts to lose altitude.

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
Fayt's voice picks up over radio again. "Understood I-" he's cutt off as the propellers fall, Causing hte pale mage to duck out of site for a moment. "Start lowering your ship, our ship will match speed with yours." That said, Fayt suddenly jumps off the ship again, wings spreading out as he takes to the sky to observe things from above at the same time, Fayt's ship begins to move, slowly lowering itself with the the airship.

Sarracenia has posed:
The princess's ship doesn't have much choice but to lower now, although it is still controlled thanks to the remaining propellers. "Got it." the princess replies, this time over the radio as she heads to the tiller for her airship. "As long as you hold steady, we should be fine over here." she says, holding her own ship as steady as she can.

There is some grumbling on her end, sounding like another of those plant creatures, then she shouts, "What?! My new dresses fell overboard?! None of this would have happened if you pilots could drive! I swear, I have to do everything myself!" Apparently she liked those dresses.

As the ships descend, there is creaking and shuddering that rolls through both ships, but especially the wooden ship. "...I really hope it holds together long enough to reach the ground.

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
    "Understood."

With that said, Fyt's ship carefully lowers itself, doing it's best o keep steady despite having antoher ship slammed into it. fayt himself, meanwhile, flays around to survey things from outside, occasionally relaying orders back to his crew through the radio. "engines holding... leaning a bit to the right there... don't worry about hte cargo, in fact stay out of the hold for now if you can...

Sarracenia has posed:
Once the ships reach the ground, the sailing ship deploys landing gear consisting of wooden struts. Once they touch down, Fayt's ship is free to disengage. "Good work! We didn't fall to our deaths! Of course, I would have been able to escape, but my faithful soldiers would have been out of luck." the princess says over the radio. Which is immediately followed by. "So, about your insurance. My pilot says this was entirely your pilot's fault. What company do you use?"

As she is saying this, the princess makes her way to the front of her ship again, then leaps right off the side and onto Fayt's ship, still carrying that hammer. "After all, the great Princess Sarracenia Sundew, crowned princess of the Sundew Kingdom, cannot have her favorite airship damaged without restitution."

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
Fayt lands on his ship a short distence from Sarracenia, his wings disappearing in a blur of motion, to be replaced with a green scarf with blue trim. "Hmm... Sundew Kingdom, if I'm not mistaken, that puts you as Confederate." fayt sounds a tad worried by this. "we're opposite factions, any legal avenue we take here, while not impossible, is going to involve a staggering amount of red tape."

Fayt's quiet for several moments as he seems to think things over, then. "Alright, if you're willing to resolve this peacefully, I might be able to get my higher ups to approve handing over some supplies to repair your ship, enough to fly it home at the least. Though I'd need a moment to get someone's ear over radio." Fayt is again, while a tad unnerved, is keeping surprisingly calm, apparently he's not too interested in picking a fight if he can help it.

Sarracenia has posed:
Princess Sarracenia blinks as Fayt mentions her faction. "Oh! You've heard of me! How wonderful!" she says happily. When Fayt brings up the difficulties between factional relations, she waves a hand dismissively. "Why involve the factions? Do you have insurance through the Union?" she asks, smirking lightly. She approaches Fayt, her hammer resting over her shoulder. "I am sure a little man like you, with his own ship, has proper insurance on it." she says, trying to look as cute and alluring as possible. "Surely you can handle the issue quickly?" she says, leaning forward just a bit at the waist to look more enticing.

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
Fayt almost immeidatly backs up a step, going so far as to lean away from Sarracenia about as far as she leans towards him. "Erm... The ship is insured through the Union, yes." Weirdly, Fayt's rection to Sarracenia's attempts to be cute is less interst more... mild terror? Weird. "T-this will likely need to be reported on later, in my company's logs if not with the faction itself."

Sarracenia has posed:
Sarra blinks at Fayt's reaction, then hmphs softly and pouts, crossing her arms over her chest and standing up straight again. "Fine fine. But, I want it noted that despite our superior strength, we did not attempt to hijack your ship or your cargo." she says. She looks over the top of Fayt's ship, then starts back toward her own. "Thank you for being so kind as to not hit and run. My soldiers would have been in quite a situation if you had."

As she walks away, she can be heard grumbling things. Most are to the effect that how could someone be repulsed by her beauty, and a few such as he must still be a child.

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
Fayt nods, slowly. "R-right... I'll be sure to do that." As she walks away, Fayt lets out a quick sigh. "right, better get those supplies dealt with. this is gonna make for a weird report."
