Bullet of Bullets - SIGNUP!
Date of Scene: 07 March 2015
Location: Alfheim Online <SAO> <ALO>
Synopsis: Get yourself signed up for the rootinest, tootinest, definitely most shootinest contest of the year!
Cast of Characters: Kirito, Tomoe, Arthur Lowell, 73, 215, 395, Riva Banari, 571, 631, 649, 707

Kirito has posed:
    BEGIN THE BULLET OF BULLETS!

Well, no, not really. Right now it's just time to sign up. The sign-up. The actual tournament won't begin until later in the week once the number of applicants has been determined and all of the 'paperwork' has been processed.

But one still needs to sign up...

Signups are done at the Government building, a grand structure reaching high ito the sky! But the front entrance is a straightforward set of glass (or SOMETHING transparent, anyways...) doorways leading straight into a huge and jampacked lobby.

Coming shortly after signups began might not be the greatest idea after all!

Avatars of all ranks and appearances (the VAST MAJORITY of them male...) have lined up in a twisting parade behind dozens of man-height touchscreen terminals found at the walls, each one separated with a tiny privacy barrier.

Not that the barrier's needed. The moment someone activates it a censorship blur kicks in, pixellating any peeper's vision of what they're entering.

"Just what you'd expect of a big event," Kirito says by one of the walls. "But it's THIS big?!"

There are easily over a hundred players here, and it's just the first of a few days for signing up...

Xiaomu (707) has posed:
"What, you expected anything less for the biggest event in GGO?" asks a cheery female voice from behind Kirito. "This is the top honors, the world championship - EVERYONE wants a shot at the title, no pun intended!"

Said voice belongs to an avatar who looks not unlike a blond teenaged girl, outfitted in red and black; her username comes up as Kanokon. Her equipment loadout isn't that impressive, although she's sporting a pair of handguns in shoulder holsters.

Sinon (649) has posed:
"It's the biggest event of the social calendar," a voice next to him replies.

A familiar (to him, at least?) woman with ice-blue hair is standing on Kirito's other side, arms behind her head. She looks at the blonde girl out of one eye, looking her up and down with a clinical eye. "Just so you know, this one's a boy. Don't be fooled."

Arthur Lowell has posed:
Arthur isn't tough to pick out of a crowd. And, of course, there is NO WAY he wouldn't come here to sign up, nor would he find it even remotely conscionable to back down from the implicit challenge of someone, somewhere, having a competition without him.

"HahahahaHAHAHAHAHA." This is how Arthur greets Kirito, wandering in from behind and slapping his back with one hand at MAXIMUM ENERGY. "Did you fool EAGLE EYES here? BRO." He gestures at himself. "I KEEP TELLING YOU how to stop this problem. Are you NOT DOING IT?" Problem? Well, there is the fact that Arthur looks about as girly as Kirito does. Then he gives a wry grin to Sinon, and a few derisive laughs. "HECATE, sorry about the TROUBLE. I ALREADY TOLD HIM how to fix this! I have NO IDEA why he's not taking my TWENTY FOUR SEVEN MANLY ENERGY ROUTE here."

He's probably going to be in line near them or something at this rate.

Frederica (73) has posed:
"Mmmm, I don't know." Frika says. "Tournament isn't really my style." she complains.

This, of course, isn't the entire truth. While Frederica doesn't much compete, she's mostly realizing that she's rather rubbish when it comes to a competition like this. Even if she does end up spending her recent game earnings on a good weapon, or even a flamethrower, she'll never compete on a tournament level. And with Frederica, it's easier to disparage than to lose.

It's also rather easy for her to disparage her friends. "What?!" she says in mock dismay. "Kirito's NOT a girl? He's been taking advantage of my feelings all this time!" she claims, entirely unseriously. OR IS SHE?

Tomoe has posed:
A woman in a form fitting armoured body suit follows up Kirito, who is getting more than a few looks, then again if Eisen had issues? She'd alter her avatar. Simple as that she's followed up Sinon as well and she seems to be in a very good move.

"Yes, it's huge Kirito. Look you know I have done things like this before, we met you know. I love tournaments like this."

She is very bouncing, heck she's bouncing in place a bit and it could be a bit distracting she's not thinking too hard about it.

She snickers at Sinon.

"He had me fooled and we have played together for several years."

She looks to Frederic for a moment grinning a little.

"There's other fish in the sea my friend don't worry!

Amalthea (395) has posed:
Of the players showing up to sign up for the Bullet of Bullets... There is a maid. That's right. There's a maid. Everyone's favorite cosplay-equipment, eye-patch wearing, roleplayer seems to have shown up, independant of the Gatecrashers again, which means Amalie obliviously walks CLEAN BY Kirito, Kanokon, and Sinon, humming happily to herself.
    Then she pauses.
A few backpedalling steps in revers and Amalie the ROLEPLAYING ROBOT MAID slowwwwly turns her head to face the group.
"--Ahhhh! Kirito! Are you still on your quest to defeat your robot father after he cut your hand off in a dramatic beam saber duel and flung you down the trash chute of a floating city?" Blathered in her blatantly fake french RP accent. Then she sees Kanokon, "And you have added another member to your harem! Naughty boy!" Of course there's Arthur, "Young Master! Are you signing up toooooo~?"
    And then... Sinon...
Holy shit the RP pretenses drop fast.
    "MOTHERFUCK--"
Ahem ahem... Remember your role. Elegant maid. Perfect elegant robot maid.
    Amalie glowers daggers at Sinon.
/em fires death rays and lasers from her eye.
No lasers come out, but she poses it at Sinon anyway as she puts on a rictus smile. "I remember you."

Reker (631) has posed:
"Alright folks, don't worry!" Comes a voice, calling out over the roar of the gathered crowd, "This year's champion has arrived!" That would be Reker, who has arrived to sign up.

Yeah a lot of people are pretty confident about their own chances for victory, for sure, but Reker knows that he's got an advantage that a lot of the others don't.

Amalthea (395) has posed:
Amalie is now immediately fangirling over Reker, a bubbly heart floating in her eye. "Ahhhh advanced warfare super soldier from the future that was made to save us all from alien invaders-san!"

Alexis Maaka (571) has posed:
VERY glad to not be in AMalie's sightlines just yet, Alexis Maaka tries to wade through the crowd as she approaches the Gatecrashers. Giving Sinon a look, she remains wary before hearing Reker. She gives the player a shiteating grin as she /em punches him in the arm. "You're gonna have to get through me in order to even have a chance with that, mate."

Other than that she kinda tries to keep Sinon within sight for now, like she's somehow going to go and snipe everyone here for some reason. Paranoia's a bitch.

Kirito has posed:
"Ahhhh-haha. Maybe a little more on the-" Kirito's speech begins in an androgynous lighter tone, difficult to tell between male or female... until Sinon breaks the illusion.

Then his voice deepens... but so does his sweeping gaze around the room...

"There'll be this many applicants. How many make it to the finals again, Sin---on---uwagh!"

Kirito gets sent tumbling forward and hitting the ground face-first. THUD!

With a grumble-mutter he gets back up on his feet, dusting himself off, and...

"Hrmph. You dare lay hands on the mighty me? Stand back!" He whips about, pointing a finger once then folding his arms, grinning, "And let the real men through!" Deep, bossy, utterly rude and arrogant words.... not that the translation effect picks up on all the nuances.

But then Kirito drops the act, claps a hand to his forehead and snorts.

"Nah. I'll just be glad to have this over with..."

The snort might also be aimed at Frika! Might.

A side glance to Amalie. Kirito opens his mouth to speak but-- her outburst silences him. Then he starts staring a little. Looking between Amalie and Sinon...

That maid is worrisome. "Where did you find her again?" he whispers to Arthur...

Meanwhile, Reker's announcement causes LOTS of heads to turn! Some glare. Some laugh. Some mutter. Dozens of hardassed gazes fix on him. All kinds of eyes. Some hidden behind masks. There's a dude with lion-themed face paint, a robed guy with a metal face and glowing red eyes, a girl with a bandana covering most of her face and a giant cowboy hat on her head... all kinds of faces!

Sinon (649) has posed:
Sinon just... stands there, as madness erupts all around her. First, there's the ... strange fellow whose first impression of him she had was him landing badly scorched next to her after downing the world boss about a week ago, who is still stressing words loudly, so it's clearly not just a combat high kind of thing. And there's ... huh, is that another one she recognizes? Granted, through a scope sight, but...

And here too is someone she recognizes- Eisen, who acknowledges Kirito by name and the shocked girl as a friend, and...

Oh, it's her. The woman with the behemoth of a machine gun.

Sinon gives Amalie the dignity of an eyeblink, which nobody else has actually got so far funnily enough, but otherwise her poker face is unbroken. "Do you?"

"This information's written on the e-mail the operating company sends out to account holders," she says to Kirito, but continues anyway, because she has to explain this, because he's dumb. "Fifty people will make it through from the preliminary rounds into the main free-for-all on one map."

Of course, she expected an awful lot of this pre-tournament posturing from everyone in this building, but that doesn't make any of it less exasperating. It seems as if Kirito already has enough people surrounding him, so she sets her jaw, douses a strange stirring unusual feeling in cold ice, then without a word she makes to walk away.

Reker (631) has posed:
"Yeah, fifty people will make it through, and fourty nine of them are gonna walk home as losers." Reker says, adding on to what Sinon is saying, before he slaps Kirito on the back, hard, "How you doin', man? You ready for this? Don't worry about it too much, most of these scrubs won't know what they're up against."

He looks back at some of the folks who're eyeing him, and shoots them a grin, "They can laugh all they want. I got top ten last year, and two of the guys that beat me aren't...Around anymore."

Alexis Maaka (571) has posed:
"Fuck are you arseholes looking at? Eh?" Alexis practically growls towards some of the other players staring at Reker. "If you want this pig, you're gonna have to get through /me./" Despite the boasts, she does give Reker a wink as she joins him and Kirito. "They ain't gonna last long when they see us in the field." The cyborg agrees.

It's pretty clear that said hardassed types the other applicants may be are gonna be eclipsed next to Elites. Any threats Alex dishes out towards them is mostly in jest...in that weird macho way anyhow.

She shoots Sinon a look after a moment, "You're a chatty Cathy now aren't ya? Must be a riot in party raids."

Tomoe has posed:
Eisen is very much a ball of excitement today she also starts laughing at Alexis and Reker.

"You think your going to win this year? You'll both have to get through me!"

It's good natured, this is for the most part a Game. Even if they are trying to bait someone she takes a moment to look to Sinon and smiles, she seems to have got over her gamer rage over the ambush. She then notes to Xia with a smirk.

"It can be an edge distractions and all that."

She's about to say more however sees Sinon starts to walk away and moves to put a hand on Sinon's shoulder before she can run off.

"Hey are you all right? You know there's no real hard feelings over that furbal in the wastes right? Why don't you join us for a bit?"

She also shoots Reker a bit of a look, due to his comment. She's yet to spot the medio and she also thinks Frederica's going to be a heck of a foe too. Heck everyone will be a challenge.

Xiaomu (707) has posed:
Kanokon shrugs gamely at Sinon, "Male, female, what's the difference as long as we're all here to have fun and play fair?" Her question is followed by a grin, which escalates to soft chuckling at Kirito's and Reker's 'acts'; Amalthea's incredibly earnest role-playing almost provokes an outright laugh, but the blonde reins herself in - she can respect getting into your role, after all. "C'mon, we won't know who the champion is for this year until the bullets stop flying - but it's gonna be fun to see who gets shaken out in the early going!"

She looks around at just how many entrants there are, and does a bit of mental number-crunching. "Guess they'll be doing a pretty long set of preliminary rounds to narrow the ranks down, then ... or do some people who register not get considered for the actual tournament at all?" she adds. *Now* she sounds worried.

Amalthea (395) has posed:
For a moment, Amalie is still circling Reker with floaty hearts in her eye before she spies something else. Gaze hardening again, there's no missing the practiced glower of someone who has seen the battlefield. ... Or just really good at roleplaying said glower. "... I know you." The maid hisses as she locks in on Alexis. "Robots know these things; I know you. I know your secret... Secretly a cyborg super assassin. I'm on to your terminatrix wiles. You'll never get near Young Master even if you are from the future."
But then more serious matters are afoot as Sinon starts to simply walk away. "I am not done with you!" Even without her shield it's like she can turn herself into a wall as she storms in front of Hecate. "For my honor as a maid. For Young Master's honor! I will defeat you!"
Yes she is now somehow dragging Arthur's honor into this.

Arthur Lowell has posed:
"Wow, that was the SKEEVIEST fuckin' thing I think I've EVER heard a DUDE SAY." Arthur asides, to Reker, as he slowly moves through the line. Then Kirito gets a wide grin. "THERE you go! SEE? Do THAT kinda shit, ain't a GODDAMN PERSON EVER gonna give you shit." And Amelie's here! As usual, this gets Arthur flustered and stuttery. "Ghhhhh... W-well, YEAH! Can't have anyone having a COMPETITION without ME gettin' a chance to JUMP IN."

Frederica (73) has posed:
"If I enter the tournament, that might mean some of you have to lose." Frika states, not entirely seriously. She pats a grenade with a playful grin. Hopefully not pulling the pin while doing so.

"Besides..." she adds, a bit more seriously. "Might be good for some of us to be outside the competition looking in, so to speak." she says. "You know, examining the competition. Looking for suitable TARGETS." Like, well, Death Gun. The murderer might well be in the competition, but might not be. Or might be easier to spot from the outside, examining all the competitors, that sort of thing. "We can't all be in the finals, right?"

Kirito has posed:
"Speaking of that," Kirito quietly replies after jumping a little from YET MORE PHYSICAL GREETINGS, "Could Death Gun be in this room?"

It would take AWFULLY sharp ears to hear this.

With Sinon suddenly walking away though, Kirito makes a distressed face. "Sinon!"

He's quick to call out... although this draws several people staring at him. Sino's rather popular after all!

Doing his best to shrug off the attention, the long-haired boy continues with, "We'll be meeting in the finals!"

He's somewhat puzzled by her behavior, but... maybe it's better if she's not close enough to overhear worrisome conversations?

Slightly more loudly, with the others around, he decides to speak up... "Death Gun's probably going to enter. There's a chance he'll get bumped out in the preliminaries. He might even be in this room..."

And with Frika speaking up, Kirito nods a few times. "That's exactly it."

Xiaomu (707) has posed:
Kirito's quesiton prompts Kanokon to focus on him again. "Wait, 'Death Gun'? Who's that?"

... not knowing who Death Gun is? She MUST be a fairly new player not to be aware of him even by rumor. "With a handle like that, gotta be either somebody who's legitimately badass at shooters like this, or somebody who's got a hilariously overstated estimate of his own skills ..." she continues.

Sinon's wandering off like that prompts Kanokon to raise her eyebrows at the blue-haired girl; Tomoe gets a grin and a nod, "Yeah, although how good is this game at modeling all the little details ... ?" And a saucy wink to boot; it may be obvious what 'details' she's talking about.

"Either way, looks like it's gonna be a fun tournament," she concludes.

Sinon (649) has posed:
"I suppose that's true," Sinon says to Kanokon who, at the very least, seems to have the right idea about all of this.

Alexis gets roughly the same non-reaction that Amalie did, and similarly, not much of a reply. To Sinon, these kind of fleeting remarks are commonplace where she chooses to go among people who recognize her- there is an equal amount of people who resent her skill as are in awe of it.

Someone slaps a hand on her shoulder, and she stops - although she takes a moment to wonder if one of them just stopped her so that the other could say something. Sinon listens first to Eisen, then to Amalie, and then subsequently shoots Alexis a flickering gaze before she says-

"Of course there aren't any hard feelings. It's pointless to hold grudges about this sort of thing, after all."

She doesn't yet know how many preliminary rounds there will be- it'll be determined by the number of signups, after all. But Kirito-- Kirito makes a statement that cuts through the ambiguity of that with a strong, self-assured statement. The confidence that swordsman radiates is--

"Yes, Kirito. You must make it to the finals. That's where I'll be making you taste the bullet that'll cause your loss."

She looks out onto the entire sweeping group of registrants, and makes the most curious statement.

"This time, I must definitely kill off all of the strong opponents."

Riva Banari has posed:
While the VAST MAJORITY might be male, there's one that stands out in their own special way.

BULLETARTIST RIVA is present, in all of her mismatched glory. Her equipment is a hilarious mix of quest drops, hand me downs, and random loot, and it's a clashing mismatch of colors. She clearly hasn't learned how to dye armor yet.

Or rather, first her hands are seen as she bounces up and down on the other side of a pile of people. "HEY GUYYYYYYYS! I'M OVER HERE!" She yells, and probably earns yet a couple more mutes.

This doesn't keep her from erupting throug hthe crowd to stand near them all, waving with a smile. "Hi guys!" She says, "I don't know if he can pull off the SUPER ENERGY like you can, Arthur. You're just in a..."

She flips down her face visor, and winks. "Class of your own." She giggles, and then looks over to Amalie.

She promptly does a shimmy, then arm pumps, before then doing an arm roll into a Batman Disco.

God knows what it's supposed to mean in the strange parlance developed for emotes. "Fifty people, huh? Well, I guess I'm just going to have to be one of them!" She pauses, then shudders a bit, looking over at the masses of rugged stone cold murderface tryhards. "Well, um, uh... Well, I'll /try/..."

Sinon gets a pleasant wave and a smile from Riva. "Hi there! Hanging out with us, huh? Name's Bulletartist Riva! Nice to meet you!" She holds out a hand to the sniper in greeting. She apparently has /no idea/ who Hecate is or why she should care.

Frederica (73) has posed:
Frika narrows her eyes at Sinon, but the gesture smooths away quickly, probably not even noticed unless anyone's actually looking at her at the time. She doesn't appreciate people threatening her to kill her friends. Threatening to BEAT them, sure. She does that all the time! But there's a difference between beating someone and killing them in a murderously explicit manner.

Easing her features back into good-natured amiability, she checks her weapon and smiles a smile that looks rather sinister. "Hey, lighten up!" Frika says. "This is a game, right? Blowing people up should be FUN, not serious!"

Amalthea (395) has posed:
It's almost funny how the mention of 'Death Gun' can quench the blood of a hot blooded RPer like Amalie. For a long moment everything is dropped for a long, somber, stare directed harshly at Kirito as if wordlessly telling the long-haired boy to shut his trap, or at least lower the volume when other players turn and stare. But then she puts on a huge shudder. "Ahhhh Death Gun! So scary!"
Just like that the maid hooks an arm around the boy's neck and shoulders, to pull him in close with a forced maidly smile. The subsequent whisper is something only he can hear, before she releases him, and puts her game face back on.
Because she now has pom poms. "Ohoooo! It's a challenge! A challenge. The sniper who wants to be the strongest, against Kirito's righteous quest for burning revengeance against his father's killer, not knowing that his father is actually a dark lord!"
    Pause. ... long pause.
    Amalie is staring at Riva.
She then proceeds to make a complex series of tactical hand gestures, mixed with The Robot in reply that only the two might seem to understand together.

Alexis Maaka (571) has posed:
Riva may get a high five from Maaka as she arrives, and the cyborg just snorts at Amalie after the initial shock wears off. "Maybe that's what I want you to think." She says dryly. Sinon meanwhile gets just another 'What the fuck is with this kid' look from the redhead.

Kirito gets a shrug after she hears the whole deathgun thing. "Can't be too careful. For now, let's play it cool." She whispers back.

Otherwise, she's just hanging about and watching the posturing, arms folded and a smirk on her face.

Iria (215) has posed:
Arriving slightly late is Iria. She looks to be a bit frustrated as she arrives, not apologizing once when she gets there. Instead, she complains about Fujikurow messing up things at her place and resulting in behind-the-scenes issues that she could've avoided. After she's done ranting, she looks to the others and then says, "Aside from that, I'm ready to go!"

Tomoe has posed:
Eisen sees Sinon has shown some intrest in saying she also gets the lady is hard locked on kicking Kirito's ass. Also her words might indeed raise a few flags bu she makes no real show of it at this point.

"You haven't player many western made MMORPGs have you? The player bases of such can ... well hold grudges."

She now looks to Xiamou for a moment smirking and says to her.

"It should be and what are you implying we make a scene of things?"

Either Eisen miss took something or she's just teasing her a bit. However there comes Riva. She's not sure if to laugh of face-palm.

"Bullet? Your going to get more mutes at this rate either way glad to see you could make it. Don't mind Bullet, she's our squadron's rookie. We'll see if you can make it Bullet, we'll just have to see. It is a good deal of fun, why else would we playing right?"

Hey Sinon they have an RPer, heaven help us all the battle Medio is indeed here. Eisen does seem happy to see her.

"Ah the Maid of bullets is here good to see you."

Man though how they picked up a normal player in their crew she'd have /no idea/ still she muses to keep tabs on her to make sure nothing happens to them.

"We should also get signed up, right? We can chat while we do and after."

Kirito has posed:
"There's a rumor going around about how a few previous champions were somehow murdered." Kirito answers quietly, careful to sound like he doesn't quite believe it. "If there's such a killer out there... they'd definitely come looking here for their next target. Always the strong--"

Sinon's parting words, given just moments ago, ring hard in his head. "...Players..."

    could it be?

Kirito finds himself peering worriedly Sinon's way. Could it be? Is she Death Gun?

    "That can't be right..."

    Can it?

But then there's a maid putting him in a headlock. He squawk and squirms in panic, but quiets when.. whispers.

He blinks a few times... and dusts himself off when released.

Just about then, a young woman, lightly armored in a form-fitting black suit with metal plating stylishly arranged, with a rifle slung over one shoulder goes strolling past the group.

"You're blocking the way, plebeians. Not everyone here has the time to lollygag around. I've got a tournament to win!"

And because of the group's presence, the young woman, whose body is rather thin, vivid crimson hair kept short but draped over one eye, and lips painted the color of her hair makes an irritated show of walking AROUND the group a few extra steps on her way to the terminal...

Alexis Maaka (571) has posed:
Alexis does not budge when the redhead begins to push people aside. Instead, she stares deep in her eye, not out of anger but confusion at...

"...how the hell do we share hair color?" She still does not move, as if trying to deny this chick out of a need for shits and giggles. "Doesn't matter. I suggest you not get so bitchy around here, otherwise you're gonna end up going out first." Glaaaaaare. Now she's maybe a bit mad.

Grabbing the chick by the arm, she shoves her further back. "Now wait your turn like a good girl."

Sinon (649) has posed:
The rumors of Death Gun have not reached Sinon's ears, and it just so happens that by coincidence she is so utterly bewildered by watching Amalie and Riva perform their bizarre sign language performance dance, coupled with Amalie continuing to act like some kind of strange RPer who doesn't know when to switch off, that her brain is not exactly tuned in to discussion of the mysterious killing gun.
That, or her short-term memory is voluntarily scrambling itself so it doesn't have to remember.

"You are a strange person," she says to Amalie. "I suppose people don't hire you for your personality, after all."

She can't help but linger on Tomoe's words, giving her a look that says she's considering this... "It's a good thing that a lot of people never get close enough to know who I am then, isn't it?"

She shrugs. "Kirito... a lot of these people are your friends, aren't they?"

Amalthea (395) has posed:
Amalie simply smiles once she's released Kirito, and apparently her hot maidenly blood has cooled down somewhat. But it does not diminish her spirit in any way in the least. Of course the snooty redhead presents her with a very large reminder.
"Oh right! I better register so I can win Young Master's love. And all that money."
She pauses though. "I'm not strange! It's roleplay!" She defends herself, before heading for a console to start entering her personal information in.
Very real life, very personal information. Not like anyone looking over her shoulder would see:

    Amelia Theodore
800 Wharfside, Innsmouth Way, Apt 1504,
Sector 5, Arkham MA, USA, 10024

Frederica (73) has posed:
Frika nods to Sinon, not unpleasantly. "A lot of us have known each other a while, yes." she agrees. "And we're protective. Which... reminds me. You shot Amalie there!" she gestures to the Maid of Honor.

"Don't get me wrong, that's not a problem." Frika notes, grinning. "Amalie just wants to take you down to regain her honour or something. Perfectly normal gamer thing. But I've heard some people who actually take that sort of thing seriously!" Her laugh makes it clear she's not one of them, not really. "Better watch out~" she says, teasing lightly.

Tomoe has posed:
Tomoe nods to Kirito and does seem concerned and about it fairly deeply she looks to Sinon's parting words as she departs and that does get her attention. She has to wonder about that as will but then something happens the Medio gets Kirito in a head lock.

"PVP tends to breed rivalries really it's all I'm saying." Sinon's response is more than a little bit /chilling/ to the SAO survivor. She's about to say something else when she notices someone yelling at others to get out of the way, she'd brush it off, it's a MMORPG. She look and stares at the redhead wait is that who she thinks it is? No it can't be but the face is on, the hair and the attitude is there. She takes a few screen caps and attempts to pull the woman's name. However she's got to register so she does so, she'll head up to her own. Her name is enters Sheena Armstrong and then the address of Kirito's family home given that's where she's living, right?

Riva Banari has posed:
Riva watches Amalie intently as she does her own gestures, and nods, sagely. She puts her arms out to each side and lets them dangle at the elbow, swaying them back and forth kind of forth bonelessly as some kind of response.

Alexis gets some maximum high five, however. Riva's up to her normal bouncy self and that means she is full of that zippy energy. "We'll figure it out when we figure it our, right? That's why we're here. To /be awesome/." She agrees with Alexis, and then shrugs to tomoe. "Well, I guess people just can't handle all of my awesomeness. I'm getting used to the fact that apparently half the game can't hear me or something. Whatever." She shrugs. "But you're right, too! We gotta give it a try and find out how far we can go!"

Her exuberance wilts a little bit as Sinon doesn't return the handshake. She scratches the back of her head awkwardly for a moment. "Well, um... You're a friend of Kirito's right?" She asks. "Don't worry about it! If you want to hang around, we can be your friends too!" NOPE LOOKS LIKE SHE'S BOUNCED BACK.

She then looks to Iria as she arrives, waving to her as well, offering a hand. "Hi there! I'm BulletArtist Riva! Nice to meet you, haven't seen you around!"

AND THEN THAT WOMAN. Riva looks up, her eyes swivelling to look over to the sassy woman. "Look, all you had to do was ask! You don't have to give us all that /bourgeois/ attitude. Classist!"

She looks back to Amalie and makes a hand-claw gesture, then twists her hands around like a shadow puppet of a dog.

When it finally comes time for her to register, she puts in her real name and address in the HOH building in Boston. It would take someone incredibly bold or incredibly stupid to roll on the HoH building.

The guy's name is /Death Gun/. She hasn't ruled out stupid.

Iria (215) has posed:
At First, Iria doesn't know what's going on when Kirito gets grabbed by Amalie, and she gets into a fighting stance. But when Kirito is released, Iria simply sighs and rolls her head around. "This is crazy," She says to herself. Then she remembers where she is, and she mentally slaps herself. "Iria, get with it!"

Indeed, she'd best get with it, because when it's her turn to register, she pauses for a moment, having a flashback to the incident with Teppan Tedai and having a paranoia attack. Then she she shakes her head again and puts in her name and address. Yes, even though her home is on a rather remote location on Myce, it still has an address!

Xiaomu (707) has posed:
"Somebody killing off past champions," Kanokon muses as the line gradually advances. "This is interesting ... so, somebody who's playing in the game *and* committing offline -"

She stops, shaking her head, then punches her right fist into her left palm, "Whoever it is isn't going to mess up *this* tournament if I have anything to say about it! All's fair in love and war, but going outside the game is just bad sportsmanship!"

Well, whoever Kanokon is offline, it sounds like she's at least on the Gatecrashers' side as far as trying to pin down Death Gun and put a halt to the killings.

Kirito has posed:
    Oh dear.

The roughhousing with the woman in black does send her staggering back a few steps. "Oh? Very well. If you're so keen on going first, by all means," The young woman's voice is clear but airy and disdainful - a snake with the fangs still retracted. She makes a show of running a finger around her weapon's barrel opening at the rim.

"Someone of your... ahm... stature needs all the space in the world in these tiny terminals."

... Yes, Alexis, she went there.

But more worrisome for Alexis, a HARASSMENT WARNING pops up in her vision as an extremely obtrusive flashing window she can't possibly miss.

Probably not smart to do that again.

"... yeah!" Kirito answers Sinon, with a small but warm smile. "You can hang with us if you want--" But ofering Sinon that might not be smart he realizes a moment later. They need to talk about Death Gun after all.

But he then whirls around and just STARES at the woman.

And the redhead picks up on this. "Something on my face, little g-"

Kirito frowns. But that's not what silenced her. Riva's remarks draw a haughty look of superiority from her. "Well isn't this a merry band... I hope you're this cheery when my bullet splits your skull." The airy tone turns dark and threatening, then the woman marches off towards one of the terminals...

'Splits yor skull?' Thaaaaaaaaaat's an odd way to describe using a rifle.

The Terminals are touchscreen interfaces! And you can't see what anyone else is entering when they do it, because your vision turns all blurry and pixellated. Hooray censorship effects!

There's a form asking for Real-world addresses indeed, although it DOES let you skip that or enter false information - in which case you won't be eligible for any RL prizes like model guns or other physical things which need to be shipped. Or money for that matter, oddly enough. No, a paypal account to deposit it in won't work it seems.

Just how many people here even have valid addresses though? There isn't anything accounting for the Multiverse on the forms.

Because people outside this specific Japan aren't supposed to even be logged in...

Tomoe has posed:
Somewhere else in GGO

A man adjusted his glasses and looked over to the woman at the temrinal beside him.

"Did you catch the pings on the BoB register for the Japanese Servers?"

"I did, it seems something is going on there."

"There's a number of extraversal elites and a few native ones, they are all registering for the Bob."

He looks again pausing.

"Even that god from Afterus is there..."

"Are you going to argue if a god is bored and wants to play the game?"

"No I'm not. His presence actually helps the project's objectives. I don't want an incident with Afterus, that would just get messy. Also what about subject Delta?"

"We'll be following up on him soon enough."

"Right, but we need to keep an eye on this situation as well don't we?"

"Yes but if we're lucky we won't have to do a thing with them already involved."

"The higher ups will be pleased about this, things seem to be starting to pay off."

"That's good news, isn't it? Send the report and we can get back to work."

The Woman adjusted her own holo display unit and continued to crunch the data they had coming in, this has become a very productive day all of a sudden. The man likewise went back to work as well.

Alexis Maaka (571) has posed:
"Tch." Alexis seems to pay little mind to the thinly vield fat insult. It wouldn't be the first time she's gotten remarks along the lines of 'haha look at that sow isn't she so big' online anyways. Those tend to stop after a few clever keystrokes, but otherwise they seem to blurr together these days with Alexis. Trying very hard not to /em the middle finger at the other redhead, she snorts and approaches the keyboard.

"Leave it, kid." She tells Riva along the way, before adding in an address that nobody can see. At all. Thank you privacy functions~.

It's not like she cares about the prize money anyways, this is more or less something she's doing as a favor, investigating the Death Gun business.

Amalthea (395) has posed:
Amalie is here for the money. This has nothing to do with Death Gun investigations really. Seriously. For true.
"There~. All entered. Now I just have to kill you all." She says very sweetly, with a huge smile on her face.
"Each and every single one of you."
She then makes some cat's-cradle style hand signs at BulletArtistRiva.
"I guess it's about time to clean house."
Leave it to a maid to say something like that.

Xiaomu (707) has posed:
Kanokon's turn to sign up comes momentarily, and she fills in the information as well as she can. She fills in full Multiverse-compatible details for her e-mail address, although she has to think for a bit and then fudge the mailing address. Not that she seriously expects to pick up a lot of physical prizes out of this - she's in it for the fun of the game, and now to help stop a murderer - but you never know.

Besides, she should be able to sneak into the Asakusa Temple to collect any packages that are delivered with her name on them. She might need to sweet-talk the resident monks ahead of time so they don't throw unexpected packages out; she makes a mental note to do that at the earliest opportunity - and to take a nice generous donation along with her. Just for good measure, y'know.

"But tell me something, Amalie," she says to the meido (with a huge grin) as she finishes her registration. "Who's going to mop *your* pretty little brains off the arena floor if you're the one whose hopes and dreams get shot down in a hail of bullets?"

Her handguns are drawn briefly, twirled, and re-holstered just as quickly as they came out.

Sinon (649) has posed:
There is reason to all of this.

Sinon has, despite everything, been trying to step away from the majority, and it's not only because she needs to enter her personal information to register. She's seen the boisterous gestures and the casual talk between the various other people here, and she's been putting it together in her head. She's been speaking curt and acting frosty, and the attempts by the others to casually engage her haven't been working. In a way, she's almost /pleased/ when Eisen seems to be intimidated by her... but something almost /flickers/ across those cold blue eyes when Riva so casually...

    And, then Kirito--

    "..."

Rosalia's unpleasant attitude sours the feeling instantly and brings everything back down to earth with a crash. "The atmosphere around here has become kind of awkward. I wouldn't want any grudges to spread to you."

It's not obvious what that's meant to actually mean, and it's possible Sinon herself didn't even think it through properly either. But she turns away from the group nevertheless, going over to one of the consoles to enter her name and address, then subsequently preparing to leave the area afterwards.

    She only looks back once.

Iria (215) has posed:
Iria isn't paying much attention to the discussion at hand, she's more thinking about what's going to be happening soon. She then looks to the others and smirks a little. "You think it will be easy, but what do you do when you're dealing with someone who hunts bounties for a living? Do you really think you stand a chance?" She laughs a little at that.

Tomoe has posed:
Eisen moves to finish up her sign up at this point unaware of what's else is going on behind the scenes. The red headed woman does get her attention now as she goes to check this out.

"That's an odd turn if phrase."

Amalthea (395) has posed:
"Hmmmm?" A tily of her head and Amalie narrows her eye at Kanokon, lips tugging into a surefire and haughty leer. "Honhonhonhon~."
It is a very fake french laugh.
"That won't be happening." She says with a flick of her braid. "The defenses of my pure and innocent robot maid heart are impenetreble. And... My dreams won't be shattering on any jagged rocks." She says, ignoring the fact that Sinon splattered her pixellated brains out all over the desert not too long back. "I'm a professional."
