You're a wizard, Alberto!
Date of Scene: 25 April 2015
Location: Strait of the Americas
Synopsis: Hogwarts ain't got s**t on this, mate.
Cast of Characters: 516, 746

Ferham (516) has posed:
The strait of the Americas held many different versions of various citiies from the North American region, the problem was finding which one sometimes. It could be difficult of course, with so many of them, and from differing time periods. It had only been a few weeks since Ferham had run into Drifter around here, she realized. It felt like just yesterday somehow, though she had become more mindful of where she landed this time, at least. At least this area was a decently inhabited area, one could grab a bite to eat or a drink here easily enough.

Alberto Guardeira (746) has posed:
Alberto, in the meanwhile, was still on his 'tourist' trip. Well, it was more getting familiar with some places in the multiverse than actual sightseeing, but the process was the same.

It was on the middle of his visit to this place that he felt like stopping for a moment and taking a rest, probably some refreshments as well. After all, after a stop where he had to help dealing with a group of bandits, he figured it would be better to play safe in this strange (for him) new world.

Ferham (516) has posed:
There is a click of what sounds like heels, it would appear that Alberto has a visitor. Or someone has found him. "What's your destination, stranger?" there is a deep, feminine voice, sultry, almost. A pair of red heeled boots stop finally near Alberto, and standing there is Ferham. She's just sort of peering down a thim, a gloved hand on her hip, with her wings sliding back behind her. She's clearly some kind of robotic lady, or maybe just a woman in some kind of suit? It's difficult to tell. Her green eyes give him a once over, dark lashes batting lightly.

Alberto Guardeira (746) has posed:
The mage turned his head to regard this newcomer. The sight... well, the sight had him blinking twice, in case his eyesight was failing for whatever reason. Yup, wings. And a very, very risqu toilette, at least to his sensibilities. Still, he refrains from making any comments on it, opting to reply to her question.

"My destination? I'm not sure of it either, but for now, all I'm looking for is for some rest before I resume my journey."

And yet, his mind cannot help but be reminded of his last trip to Paris.

Ferham (516) has posed:
The clicking of her heeled boots stopped as she sidled up there beside him, just kinda peering down at him with a hand on her hip, sort of regarding him with a raised brow. "You're not lost are you? do you need directions?" she paused, her right hand hanging down at her side, lightly. "I'd hope not, this can be an easy place to get lost in," she nodded, her legs moving again as she stepped around where he was sitting, or standing.

"Is there... something wrong? you seem to be staring," she smirked a little.

Alberto Guardeira (746) has posed:
"I might not have a set destination, but I know where I tread." he smiles. After all, he is going where his feet take him. "I would appreciate if you could be so kind as to tell me where I could find some place with good food, though." well, she did look like she knew this place well.

Her last question took a little longer to answer, though. "No, I was just... surprised at your choice of clothing. I'm still not used to how fashion differs from place to place in the Multiverse." he admits.

Ferham (516) has posed:
"Cuisine? or are you looking for a store?" Ferham looked around, back and forth, some mist that had apparently turned into condensation from wherever she had just been dripped off one of the fins of her helmet. "I can't say I live around here, but it also depends entirely on your tastes, too," she shrugged. "Speaking of tastes, this isn't exactly formal attire, it's my personal armor, I need this to fly," she turned and would fall in along side him, careful not to knock him over with those broad wings of her's. She'd lean up against the side of a building, or bench, if there was one present.

"You seem like you're from somewhere... rustic, I guess you've never seen a robot woman before, eh?"

Alberto Guardeira (746) has posed:
He nods. "Armor? That puts things into perspective," he scratches his chin, comparing what he has seen, "and yes, neither technology nor magic have reached the point of creating sentience. Golems are probably the closest thing, and those are very basic constructs." He sounds very interested by this particular turn of events, his scholar side finding an exciting new mystery to study.... later.

His eyes narrow in thought as he tries to decide on what to do, his shoulder leaning against a streetlight. "I guess a proper restaurant would be nice, to take time to properly appreciate the food."

That, and the fact that those thrice-forsaken Twinkies should be banned by the Geneva Conventions!

Ferham (516) has posed:
"Huh, bet you never saw a golem with legs like these, eh Rincewind?" Ferham seems to be surprised that the man is suddenly speaking about magic, and the like, perhaps assuming he himself is a practitioner. Still, she seems rather cocky, for a machine. "I might be able to direct you to a place that isn't serving vermin or expired food, if you'd like?" she gestured with a gloved hand, to no where in particular. "Course, we might have to go airborne, you're not afraid of heights... are you?" she looked down at him. She must have really thought he had the 'wizardly' look to him, what with that beard, and all.

Alberto Guardeira (746) has posed:
Alberto tilts his head, puzzzled by the Rincewind reference. Still, he got the general gist of her comment. "No madam, I can't say I ever had the pleasure." Hey, he was just dedicated to his occupation, not a celibate priest. And human or machine, he could appreciate good curves when he saw them.

"As for the place to eat, I would appreciate that very much, and regarding the flight part..." he trailed off with a smirk, even as he straightened himself and started floating a few centimeters off the ground, "... shouldn't be a problem at all." The lady might be an amazing product of technology, but he had some tricks up his sleeve himself.

Ferham (516) has posed:
"Understandable, I take it they don't have people like me where you come from," Ferham smiled a bit, nodding her head. She stepped back as she saw him begin to levitate, or float--she hadn't expected that. Her eyes widened a fair bit. "I guess can do this too, I'll have to show you a few tricks of mine sometime then," she nodded with a smile.

Stepping away, her wings swung out to either side of her, like the fixed wings of an aircraft, almost--except well, these seemed to be able to rotate about on the joints on her back.

"I wonder, do you like sushi?" she called, her knees flexing as she vaulted into the air, and kept on going.

Alberto Guardeira (746) has posed:
"Sushi, I am familiar with. Lead the way, then!" he said, as he willed himself to fly after the robot, which, he just realized, he still doesn't know the name. He raised an eyebrow in annoyance, he probably got too distracted by the blatant display of armor, of all things. Oh, and cutting edge technology. Not his fault she seems to be interesting, he reckons.
