AWftF: Full Frontal Assault
Date of Scene: 26 April 2015
Location: Reptilon <Rep>
Synopsis: Rex takes the fight to Kakarot, while Yuri leads an infiltration team abroad the Bardock.
Cast of Characters: 37, 114, 552, 691, 701, Sanary Rondel, 723, 724, 750, 760

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Reptilon - Sub Orbit

Tarpits III flies alongside the Dinosaucer's carrier, both massive ships are flanked by smaller, more maneuverable craft.

Rex speaks over an encoded radio channel, "Remember - no unnecessary risks. Our main goal is to ensure that Yari's team gets in and out of the Bardock. Do NOT kill any Neo-Saiyans that you don't have to .. well, unless it's Kakarot himself. Do not cripple the ship aside from taking out its defense systems."

Tarpits III begins ascending into space, the huge thrusters on it's back flaring to escape velocity. The Red Armor on the Tarpits exterior starts to glow white hot as the gigantic ship rips through the outer atmosphere - headed straight for the Bardock - which looms ominously over the battered planet.

Serori (37) has posed:
Serori stands aboard Rex's ship in a state of restless impatience. Multiple times, she checks and tightens her gloves, or lets her tail go from lashing at the air to coiling around her waist, only for it to dangle free again a moment later. Nothing about her expression suggests she's anything but focused, but it's clear from her fidgeting that she's troubled.

After another minute goes by without the action starting, Serori lets out a soft curse, flicks her hair from her eyes, and tries to distract herself by taking stock of who else is waiting to fight. Vegeta. The Tyrannos. Everyone else is ready, huh?

She wonders if the Neo Saiyans are expecting what's coming.

Allo (724) has posed:
The Dinosaucer carrier ship is actually a bit ahead of the Tarpits as they transverse Reptilon's atmoshphere, the giant pteranadon shaped craft being more designed for speed and maneuverability compared to its counterpart.

"Copy that, Rex." Due to the methods taken for the operation, Allo himself was at the head helm of the craft. "We need to show them we're not taking their invasion sitting on our tails. But this is not the point of the conflict to put ourselves at unecessary risk to do so."

Then he flicked over to a private direct comm. "You ready, Dimentro?"

"Aye, as I'll ever be." The dimentrodon was hunched somewhat comically into a ball to not take up too much room in the 'special mission' craft, to where he was practically holding the wrist communicator between his ankles. "Accomidations are a wee cramped, but now ain't the time to be picky 'bout it."

"Thanks, Dimentro. It's appreciated. I know you dislike being on the frontline, but we don't know what kind of technology our enemies may have aboard their craft."

"Doncha worry lad. We'll see it through. Dimentro, out."

That.. really didn't make Allo feel better. He hated sending his soldiers into missions he wouldn't be able to do much to help them. But at least he was reassured he had put assisting the operation in the best claws for the job.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The Bardock floats in space, ominously, over the planet of Reptilon. No gun bays are visible, the surface of the massive craft mostly a huge rounded semi-conical shape. The Reptilonians have not deployed or displayed any capacity for space-based combat, so perhaps they can use what space-capable craft they DO have in order to launch a surprise maneuver.

Deep within the ship, Toma and Gaplan sit outside the medical areas. Toma is acing nervously, while Gaplan sits with stoic, stony silence. "They have to tell us soon, right?" He asks.

Gaplan does not respond.

"Look, if it was... You know... they'd know by know. It's been like a week!"

The door hisses open, and an purple-skinned alien comes out to look between the pair. She doesn't talk, just gesturing to the pair.

Gaplan and Toma look to each other, a dreadful feeling growing.

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
Yari and anyone else assigned to the infiltration team are aboard a small craft within Tarpits III. It's a sleek, black affair with a frankly obscene number of stealth and speed-based systems. The downside? It has all the armor of a tin can and a single set of point defense lasers that could probably only scratch the weakest of fighters on a good day.

It's win or die.

Yari holds up a casete, peering at it a little. She has her helmet off for this, and she's blushing. She feels /weird/ talking to a cassette.

"Ensign Soundwave, Miss Rondell, Miss Circe, I'll be counting on you all. Glory and honor. Let us come back alive." Then she keys up her radio, giving a 'thumbs up' at the pilot to get the engines warm.

"We wait until the Colonel's and Mister REx's attack begins, and we then initiate our bording. We will then proceed to their communication's array. Ensign Soundwave, that will be your time to shine. We must not be seen, and spare the Saiyans as we can. Miss Circe, your illusions will be invaluable here in assisting us. Should we be discovered? Sanary, I will be counting on you to hold the line and ensure we return alive. Understood?" Yari snaps a sharp salute to her compatriots.

Then she keys up her radio.

Soundwave (552) has posed:
Soundwave is in his alternate form, a microcassette recorder, and he feels about as strange being peered at by Yari as she feels staring at him. He'll never get used to the organic races' utter fascination with Cybertronians.

He hums audibly through the speaker on one side of his form at Yari's explanation of the plan. "-Understood.-" He will undoubtedly stay in a pocket or something until they get to their objective, which is fine by him. Makes it even less likely to be detected if one is hiding in (relative) plain sight.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Oddly enough, flying in space doesn't suck nearly as much as flying anywhere else. Must be the gravity or... Something. Either way, Sanary actually looks rather calm for the upcoming mission, and she's looking over her gunaxe carefully to make sure everything's in working order.

"Yari. Soundwave. Don't worry, we'll get this all under control nice and easy, and nobody's dying. I'll drag your asses out of there myself if I have to." Laughing lightly, she goes quiet to listen to the Au Ra give them the mission plan, a slow nod coming from the axe-wielding healer moments after she finishes.

"Doesn't sound too complicated. Gonna admit, I'm not too great at anything but smashing things, but... Eh. That's what I'm here for, isn't it?" She returns the salute with one of her own, then takes a moment to adjust her eyepatch. "Let's do it."

Allenby Beardsley (760) has posed:
The Tarpits III has an extra passenger on it. Not inside of it, but standing on top of it as if it were a giant surfboard. The craft is clearly built to handle atmospheric re-entry because it does not break up as it leaves the outer atmosphere though it too heats up. It is the Nobel Gundam.

The Nobel Gundam is, if anything, very memorable looking. Picture Sailor Venus. Now picture Sailor Venus as a Gundam. That is the Nobel Gundam, standing proudly at 16.2 meters tall. Once the Tarpits III breaks free of the atmosphere and starts heading for The Bardok, the Nobel Gundam leaps off, thrusters flaring to life upon its back, accelerating it far ahead of its former ride. The Nobel Gundam support team, on the other hand, remains back on planet Reptillon, having set up a makeshift mobile station to monitor the Nobel Gundam from afar. Both Dr. S and Dr. Beliman are there amongst the crew.

A small sigh of relief overcomes Allenby as she hears the voice of Rex over the radio. She'd not been looking forward to the point in her life where the Neo Sweden military would be assigning her to actually kill people. Disabling a ship's defense systems, while boring as /hell/ to her, was manageable. "Hey, Nobel Gundam here, I'll make sure the ship's left pretty defenseless though if you guys got any info on where the defenses are located that'd make my job a lot faster."

Circe (701) has posed:
Caster is not a saiyan expert by any means. She is all-too-willing to examine magic and sorcery, but the 'research' she has conducted since being summoned has been admittedly spotty. She spent more time looking at things on television and the internet than actually reading up on others. But she at least understands a few things about them. Saiyans are very physically powerful, they love to fight, and they can transform into various things. Also, a very interesting tidbit: Most saiyans don't use or have an innate defense against magic.

The red-haired Servant hovers in the air within the smaller craft onboard the Tarpits III, somewhat displeased at the cramped confines, but rather thrilled still at actually getting to be in OUTERSPACE. She radiates magical energy intensely. She's MADE out of the stuff, in extremely dense concentration. Unless Kakarot and the Neo-Saiyans have technology or abilities for detecting that, she is probably clear to aid them. She has great power, but she is not a direct combatant. Most Casters aren't. Covering the team with her illusions should be a good way to make herself useful. Her illusions can potentially fool ALL of the five senses. But, as with all of her powers, they rely upon prana expenditure. The more elaborate and powerful the illusion, the more it's going to cost her.

But for now, at least, she should be able to cover their entire craft in an illusion of simply not being there. If that doesn't get them close enough to get onboard the Bardock without being noticed, nothing will. From the outside, they'll simply appear to be empty space.

"Indeed," the Sorceress of Aeae answers Yari as she focuses less on being humble about her abilities and more about employing them. She isn't going to be the cause of the mission's failure. The others were already noticed and acknowledged earlier. Any necessary introductions were made. Now is time to wrap her magecraft around this vessel and make everyone who looks at it from the outside blind to their presence.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
From Tarpits III's command center Rex nods to the image of Allo on his mainscreen, then flips it to the image of the orbiting Bardock. He turns a nob on the main console, blasting his command to all involved, "ATTACK!"

Several smaller fighters pour out of Tarpits 3, accompanied by the streaking smoke trails of at least a dozen low impact missiles, designed to shake the bardock up.

"Knock knock, you spikey haired bastard ..."

Allo (724) has posed:
The Dinosaucer carrier actually had a lot in common with a Federation ship. It had been built in the intention of peace and research .... But was more than capable of defending itself and the interests of those that it served.

A lot like Allo himself, really. He hated having to come to this course of action, while at the same time, realizing it was the only way at this point. "All claws at ready. Let's show them why they picked the wrong planet to aggrivate. Engage and open fire!"

A pair of large cannons extended from their protective housings, muzzles flaring briefly as a volley of laser fire was opened in concert with the Tyranno's missile barrage.

At the same time a contingent of fighter craft were being released from it's ship bays. Including a triceratops head shaped one that was already a little banged up looking.

When this invasion was done with he was so going to kick Ankylo's bone shelled butt for banging up his ship rescuing Rex.

Rebound (750) has posed:
"Hey don't worry, I got you." Rebound has managed to cram her way into the infiltration ship that Dimetro is on. It's a tight fit, especially with the 'roo's own size, but she's going to do what she can to keep him safe. She knows he's not really a fighter and more of a techie. Which is good, because she's a fighter and not much of a techie.

"I'm looking forward to getting my hands on those damn Saiyans anyway. Should be a good chance to really show everybody what I can do." So lets get in there and do this.

Serori (37) has posed:
It's about time.

Serori erupts from the Tarpits III's hangar bay in a blast of golden light. Though she wouldn't be able to fight in empty space for long without some sort of breather system, the Void contains enough atmosphere to support a vicious saiyan out to expel some pent-up aggression. As someone spearheading the assault, she makes her presence immediately felt, from the heat of her power level raging against the minds of those capable of sensing it, to the way she rockets right at the Bardock like she means to take it on all by her lonesome.

A massive cannon of ki power flies from her outstretched hands to initiate her assault. For an opening salvo, it's a mean one -- and it's echoed by those saiyans who accompany their queen. At least a half dozen soldiers fly beside Serori, all loosing their own familiar and destructive beams in support of Serori.

Two other squads of six break off in other directions. The Bardock will soon be flanked, but there's still time for the jaws to close. Just getting into position will be an effort.

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
Yari can't help but smile a moment at Sanary's confidence. "Mmm! Home in one piece." She agrees, before slipping Soundwave into her pocket. A glance to Circe, and even Yari's dull magical senses can pick up that feeling of power as the ship ceases to exist on a spiritual level, only enhanced by the ships' technological means. The woman lets out a small breath, and nods to Circe.

Maybe they can manage this. It does much to calm her nerves. Serori and Rex call for the attack, and the stealthed ship departs the Tarpits as the opening salvo hits! It hesitates in space, waiting for the flank maneuver and an opportunity to board!

Yari walks towards the exit ramp, patting her sword's hilt and readying herself mentally. The Saiyans arne't weak opponents.

Allo (724) has posed:
"Aye. Time for a wee bit of payback." Dimentro managed to turn his head enough to smile faintly at Rebound. "They're probably expecting a fight. So hopefully they won't be expecting something -other- than a fight... All the same, always good to have someone to handle the hittini things that ain't a machine."

Waiting was the worst part of these missions.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
"And if anything comes off... Make sure to bring it back so I can try to put it back on." Sanary chuckles lightly and takes a moment to pack her ponytail into a tighter bun, making sure it's good and snug to not provide an easy target for pulling. Every little bit helps, especially since she's still wearing her too-big coat over her basic monster hunting gear.

She's definitely getting tense, though. The waiting has to be the worst part of the whole mission, especially with the knowledge of just how thin the armor of their vessel is. Having Circe's magic to aid in keeping it hidden certainly helps to ease her mind somewhat, but what are the odds they'd get hit by a stray shot anyway?

Kakarot (723) has posed:
It seems inconceivable that the Bardock would not notice the Tarpits III and associated ships by now. They're huge. They're obviously aggressive. But the ship does not deploy a response team, nor does it move to meet the attackers.

Until they fire. Once the missiles and fighters begin screaming towards the Bardock, when the Nobel Gundam deploys and Serori and her attack squad begin fighting in the native Saiyan style, that is when everything changes.

Ports open all along the ship, disgorging armored Saiyans using ejection systems to propel combat groups of their own into space, Red armored Saiyans quickly begin spreading out and exhibit high mobility as they move to meet the flank attackers. Green armored Saiyans form up into ranks and begin firing back with ki blasts of their own, while a couple groups move in with Red Team in formations, glowing ominously with charging ki like some kind of bomber group.

Blue armored Saiyans appear, deploying ki-based barriers to begin taking some of the impact. This doesn't stop much of the initial salvo from raking the ship, tearing up metal and blasting chunks out of armor. Several of the deployment hatches crumple under the assault, possibly trapping Saiyans inside... or possibly worse.

Space becomes alive with the sound of sizzling ki, explosions, and screaming engines. From the front of the ship, a port opens, and out steps Kakarot himself, taking the forwardmost, advanced position. He will lead from the front like a proper Saiyan. His eyes flick through space, settling upon the massive Tarpits III, and he grins. "About time you showed up for a real fight! Hopefully no one sedates you this time, Rex! COME ON!" He yells, charging forward directly towards the Tarpits with deadly intent and speed. It's clear he intends to crash directly into the massive machine and take it on in close quarters combat.

Kakarot was ready for a direct assault. But was he ready for an infiltration? Yari's ship notes several docking ports that don't seem to be getting used in the combat along the sides of the ship. If they force one open it should allow for safe boarding.

Once the stealthed ship docks and the port is forced, they find a short airlock-style entry system followed by a series of uniform-looking cooridors. An alarm is blaring and Saiyans and other aliens are moving occasionally through the corridors as they get to battle stations and respond to damage. How are they going to locate their objective?

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
The stealth ship docks, and Yari makes sure her compatriots have a map uploaded to their radio courtesy of Serori. Then, after scanning it, she helps force the lock open, likely with Sanary's help! It's here that she orders the pilot to keep the ship on standby, and to ensure the stealth systems remain active.

After all, Circe needs to help keep them illusioned! Yari sneaks towards to the end of the airlock, leaning her head slightly as she keeps flat against the wall. She'll wait for several moments until a majority of the Saiyan's have passed them by, then she waves for Circe and Sanary. Then? She'll leap towards the ceiling, crawling about as she can like some sort of spider. Damn ninja's.

She'll try to find a lone Saiyan. The map is good...but they need something more concrete. If one shows themselves and they're alone? She'll drop down, wrap her legs around their necks, and try to strangle them to sleep. Meanwhile, she waves to Sanary to give her a hand!

Time to knock out a Saiyan, steal their stuff, and get any keycards or maps they might have then toss them into somewhere convenient for hiding the body. Yari will likely need some help with that.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
ELSEWHERE

The alien doctor starts talking as they step in front of a pod. "The good news is that your friend is alive."

Toma blinks, and says, "Oh man, that's awesome! That's good news-huh?"

Gaplan is not smiling. He looks intently at the medical pod, which still has its privacy screen up, and then back to the doctor.

Toma blinks. "Uh... So... what's the bad news?"

The doctor turns and presses the button.

The pod drains out with a hiss, and opens up.

Toma recoils, gasping, and even Gaplan grimaces.

An eye opens, unfocused, as a rough voice speaks. "Give me a mirror." Is all they say.

There is a pause, and they all look to each other.

"/Give me a mirror/." She demands, insistantly.

"Zuki..." Toma begins, but he clenches his teeth as the doctor obeys, bringing over a hand mirror and holding it up.

There is a moment of silence.

And then a terrible noise begins to echo through the doctor's chamber. A rough, terrible noise, rising with the alarms and resonating down the halls.

It is a laugh. But not a laugh of joy. A laugh of despair, of sorrow and hatred, a laugh that cracks and wavers with terrible promise and rage.

Serori (37) has posed:
The flanking squads gladly engage the defenders. Though Serori's saiyans make attempts to keep to disabling techniques, without a doubt, the fighting will turn brutal within moments. Energy flashes back and forth across the darkness of space like lasers across a cartoon G.I. Joe battlefield. It'd be beautiful, if it wasn't so deadly -- especially once those blasts turn into explosive blossoms.

Heavy hitters attract the majority of Kakarot's forces, while more mobile fighters keep back at a distance, lobbing ki energy into the fray where it suits them. Serori herself fights this way. Despite the advantages of her Super Saiyan power, she has her limits, and she prefers an agile approach.

Under the cover of the action, two members of each of the three squadrons break off to focus on smashing through the defensive barriers Kakarot's blue-armored soldiers have provided. Their objective? To stem the tide of launch pods feeding the battlefield.

Circe (701) has posed:
Once they've docked, Circe places her illusions upon the group, instead of the vessel. At least once they're certain they are safe and relatively alone, and have actually departed. To avoid being run into as people see only empty space, she gets a bit daring with her illusion, making them appear to be alien engineers or mechanics of some kind, modelled after some of the aliens she saw running by in the corridors outside their unused docking bay. If they're rushing around, looking for a computer, or cracking open machines to tamper with them, no one is going to be too concerned. Especially with the damage the Bardock seems to have taken. They have REASON to be trying to 'fix' things, after all!

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Breaking locks is.. Not Sanary's specialty! Breaking things is close enough, though, and getting that lock open doesn't take too long. The healer slash axe-fighter follows her lead, waiting for the right signals before moving. She's not the stealth specialist, after all, so why risk the mission getting ahead of herself?

And Yari goes onto the ceiling. Well. Following her still isn't too hard, at least. With the disguise, meanwhile, it probably isn't too hard to pass the handle jutting out of her coat as a wrench or something. If that lone Saiyan is found, meanwhile, Sanary joins in with Yari in subduing them! Not with finesse and legs, but with brute force and punches to the face!

Allo (724) has posed:
The tiny (by Reptilonian standards at least, it was probably meant for evolved microraptors spies or something) stealth pod settles into place at the docking locks. Once it's in place and secure Dimentro opens the hatch. The reason for two ships was a logical one, it meant if one ship had been spotted and shot down, the entire mission wasn't a wipe. But fortunately it looks like both made it into place.

It takes him a moment to wiggle himself out of the pod and into the airlock, giving Rebound room to excite as he hacks the locking mechanism to open up into the ship proper. Once they're inside, it doesn't take long to catch up with Yari's group. Worker illusions work. He even actually has maintenance tools! "Sounds like the party started good outside," he murmurs in such a low tone it actually makes his accent seem to disappear for the moment.

Rebound (750) has posed:
Rebound is moving quickly behind Dimentro as he heads deeper into the ship. Once the two groups meet up, Rebound quickly does a scan around the area to look for any potential hostiles. Though with the illusion spells that might help them stay undetected for a bit longer.

"I just hope the fight outside goes well. I don't know much about space fights outside of stuff I've seen on TV, but I hope we brought enough guys.."

Allenby Beardsley (760) has posed:
The Nobel rockets forward, speeding towards the ship and as it does, Allenby reviews what layouts were provided on the Bardock. Seeing nothing to really indicate shielding or weapon systems, she assumes that she has incomplete intelligence here. Once the incoming Reptillion ships are noticed, then, they'll have a better idea of the ship's defenses, right? Only Allenby finds herself faced with a 'small' problem for these defenses.

Literally, a small problem. Nevermind that she's never actually seen anyone who can casually fly around in space like there wasn't a vaccum out there. But facing someone on foot in a Gundam usually meant a hideously unfair fight-though /not necessarily/ in favor of the Gundam, which is an even more terrifying prospect. Complicating the matter was the order to avoid killing the Neo-Saiyans.

Flying forward, the Nobel Gundam is quickly caught in the middle of the ki blast crossfire, not retaliating until the Nobel Gundam actually gets hit, the blast striking what would pass as the 'gut' of the gundam and just below where the cockpit is located. Within, Allenby doubles over in surprise, the haptic feedback reflecting the strength of the hit. "W....what the..? That /hurts/." The Nobel immediately straightens as the Gundam Fighter within does, forming up a glowing pink chakram-like hoop of energy between two outstretched arms.

"NOBEL HOOP!" she calls out enthusiastically, hurling the circular blast at one of the Saiyan formations where the Blue armors are forming up barriers to block the ki blasts from Serori's group.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Rex smiles sadistically as Kakarot comes straight for Tarpits 3, "Wouldn't have it any other way. Ready my ship!"

As Kakarot approaches Tarpits 3 unleashes a massive cone of white hot energy at the Saiyan King from it's mouth. A barrage of ,macross style missile fire erpts from Tarpits, converging on Kakarot's position, lighting up the darkness of space with a cascading lightshow that would make a Rolling Stones concert look tame.

Rex climbs aboard his personal craft, flipping switches and firing up the twin thrusters. The ship blasts out of the holding dock of the massive Saurian Battle Station, following the barrage of missiles immediately. His HUD sparks to life, already set to target Kakarot based on the accumulated data gathered on the Saiyan King.

Over his loudspeaker, Rex yells, "LET'S DANCE!" (sound somehow traveling through space in animated universes!)

Allo (724) has posed:
It doesn't take long for the screens to fill up with lots and -lots- of blinking marker spots once Neo-Saiyans start pouring out. "Almost looks like Quackpot ate a connect-the-dots book then vomited on the monitor," Stego quipped, as usual reverted to snappy remarks to conceal how he was just as on edge as anyone else.

Allo's expression just creased in a focused grimace. "Keep us moving, we can't tank multiple hits like the Tarpits can. Try and detain some of those inbound forces."

The Carrier's engines flare to life, and why it certainly wasn't a fighter of extreme speeds, it was a lot faster than it's counterpart. The path brings it to a flanking path along one side of the Badrock, even as a few ki blasts rattle against it's exterior. Other attacks come close by sizzle past, likely the attacker misjudging how far he needs to 'lead' his shot on a moving target. As it passes broadside of the Neo-Sayain ship several smaller gun placements deploy, peppering the ship's upper flanks in weaker but more rapid fire.

Meanwhile the smaller fighters swarm around, taking shots at Neo-Saiyans and trying to avoid getting shot in return. Shooting at small flying (mostly) human-sized targets isn't hard, but as they have experience at dealing with their own members that fly without craft at all, maybe not as hard as one might expect when it comes to Reptilonians.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The Red Neo-Saiyans specialize in speed and flanking maneuvers. Serori watched them train, she knows what they're for. They do their best to avoid getting locked down by the power types, letting the Greens try to counter the bruisers. This is only moderately successful, the battlefield is too chaotic for an overall strategy to work flawlessly. Saiyans in red and white armor move in every so often to quickly grab the critically wounded and bring them back to the Bardock. The Nobel Gundam clashes directly with the Blues, the groundpounder speicalists having to face a giant skirted Gundam! The Nobel Hoop blasts into one of the barrier formations, blasting it apart and scattering the group. Those who recover quickly begin to close in on the Nobel Gundam, attempting to grapple it and try to cripple the limbs while those too wounded to join in begin a fighting retreat, throwing weak ki blasts while they move to get back into the ship.

Kakarot vanishes in a massive wave of missile explosions, the bright blasts turning him into a shadow-like figure that vanishes within, slowly. But then Genghis Rex blasts out to punch through the fire and destruction, a golden blast arriving to meet him. There, in Super Saiyan form, Kakarot flares with golden fury, smoke boiling off of him into space as his shattered armoe floats away. Kakarot slams into the battle craft, the impact between them colossal and sending a shockwave out thorough the Void around them. He begins immediately digging his fingers in, trying to find a place to tear open so he can rip Genghis out of the craft. "THIS IS THE FIGHT THAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED WEEKS AGO! THIS IS ALMOST RESPECTABLE!"

The Carrier, meanwhile, gets harried by Red and Green Armor Neo-Saiyans. HOW MANY DOES HE EVEN HAVE? Not having one's homeworld destroyed seems to do wonders for your population levels. The blasts from the Carrier impacts the Bardock, collapsing more Saiyan deployment points, along with Serori's attempt to break through the barriers. There's a lot of Blue Armors in the way though, more than six, though the Nobel Gundam is doing a great job as a spoiler. This might take a bit. With a hum and whirr, a section of of the rear of the craft begins to rotate, large laser batteries coming online and targetting the Carrier!

Wait what? Saiyans using actual ship-based weaponry?

STEALTH TEAM: The Union and Confed stealth teams meet up without incident. Circe disguises most of them as engineers, and Yari moves to locate a Saiyan.

As a terrible laughter echoes through the halls of the ship, Yari finds a blue armored Saiyan looking up in the direction of the noise, distracted. She hits them with a stealth takedown (and Sanary's attempt at kung fu) and searches him for stuff. She finds a keycard, but there's no maps. He apparently knew how to get around himself or something. Hauling the guy around... Is a little more complicated. These guys are bulky! Sanary moves in and helps to stash the Saiyan in a locker.

Rebound's looking around notices a lot of Saiyans and aliens running around the ship, Most of the Saiyans seem to be heading toward the front from the rear, while the aliens are spereading out throughout the craft, most of them in similar maintenance gear and suits as what Circe disguised them as.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Meanwhile, two new power signatures light up in the ship: Toma and Zuki have gone Super Saiyan within the ship, and are rapidly moving. Gaplan... Where's Gaplan?

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
Suddenly Yari is more lizardy that before, thanks to Circe's illusion. This makes things /much/ easier on Yari as she's back on the floor. When their Union compatriots link back up, Yari spots them a nod rather than a salute. Best to not blow their cover.

Sanary helps beat up some poor Saiyan, the act somehow cathartic after all that's happened by their hands. Yari gained quite the distaste for most Saiyans, a few excepted, and so getting to pound on an enemy Saiyan for a bit with Sanary is more than enjoyable.

She does make it a point to leave them alive however, as per orders.

When the others link up, Yari nods to Rebound and Dimentro.

"The operation is full swing. Let's see if we can find that array. Dimentro? With me please." She whispers over the radio to the group, turning on her magitek armlet again and using it to monitor their general location as well as any nearby Saiyans. She walks with urgency, like a mechanic trying to get where she's going!

Unfortunately, there's no maps. Instead? Yari is forced to use the map that Serori gave them. She then looks at the keycard, trying to discern /where/ it might go to even as she hunts serori's map for anything communication like. She shares the info with the group!

Then there's that horrible laughter. She shivers, but otherwise remains stoic.

Allo (724) has posed:
Dimentro frowns at the lack of finding a map. But they have Serori's partial map to go by at least. "Speakin' as an engineer," Dimentro replies softly over the shared comlink as they proceed. "A communications array needs to be located in a position it can receive signals easily, since they can come from any direction in open space. However, most species still naturally orient themselves upward and forward because it is naturally familiar to them, even in the multi-axis openess of space. So typically a main array will be on an elevated deck, preferably centralized." He rubs his chin thoughtfully for a moment. "Secondary arrays are optional on other sides to help collect signals, but even then most simply process through the same main relay rather than directly to command systems."

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Fitting that Saiyan into the locker proves to be a little more troublesome than Sanary expects, but they do manage to jam him in there eventually. After shutting him in, the healer sends in a tiny amount of healing magic just in case they might have gone overboard with the blows to the head before getting back to following Yari.

TThe sight of their Union allies does make Sanary pause for a moment, but she gives them a quick nod of acknowledgment. She's worked with other Union Elites before, so this probably wouldn't be too different.

Well, aside from being in space and all. And the laughing. She keeps a hand on the handle of the gunaxe for the time being, glancing about the hallways rapidly for the source of that noise.

Serori (37) has posed:
Serori continues to fight among her own empire's subjects. Blood, some of it her own, stains the one white glove she's still wearing. Scorch marks pepper her armor, and a solid crack splits it up the spine, emanating from a fist-shaped crater where she took a direct surprise hit from behind.

Her own warriors are faring about the same. Two from the right squad have had to retreat. A third from the left squad dies attempting to escape. A fourth from her own guard is vaporized whenever he fails to muster his energy barrier in time. Serori fights harder at seeing her soldiers pushed into a corner, and with a savage roar, she sweeps the field with a blistering arc of ki power to try and push Kakarot's forces back. Additional breathing room is needed afterward, so she keeps it up, letting out cannon after cannon in a series of devastating energy blasts that leave her gasping.

She falls back behind her advancing line to recover. Her soldiers take up the offensive again, doing their best to keep Kakarot's soldiers engaged and distracted from responding to the true mission.

All the while, she does her best to capture who she can from the defeated Neo Saiyans. It becomes a secondary battle to determine who should get to claim the wounded -- Kakarot's own, or the Confederates.

Allenby Beardsley (760) has posed:
Very quickly, Allenby is encountering another problem. While on-foot versus mobile armor was not unheard of on her world, it was never something that was supposed to be important in the Gundam Fight (barring some seriously crazy rule changes, though not outside the realm of Wong's possibilities). Thus is was never something Allenby actually had /trained/ in. She doesn't see the need to get away from the smaller targets initially, thinking that being close range might limit their options for firing the ki blasts. Being...grappled on the other hand...well...

In a very Gullivurian struggle, Saiyans latch onto the Nobel Gundam, Allenby feeling the effects as her limbs grow heavy and hard to move. This leaves her open to being peppered by the retreating ki blasts which fortunately do not hurt as much as the earlier one, but still cave in armor where they land. She grunts with exertion, which probably translates to something obscene in the Saiyan fight grunting language, then let's out a yell as the Gundam's thrusters are pushed to full power. With a twist of the shoulders, she manages to send the Nobel Gundam in a spiral as it flies forward towards the Bardock. While Allenby has not spent time fighting smaller opponents in the Gundam before, she has trained for many, many, many, MANY hours on getting out of grapples. For some reason opponents always wanted to grapple the Nobel Gundam.

As she spirals to the Bardock, hopefully flinging the latched-on Saiyans off of her in the process, she hones in on the laser batteries, a fist pulled back, then launched forward just at the moment of impact, her momentum powering a massive punch.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Small one man Tyranno fighters blaze by the Bardock, hammering it with small arms lasers, biting into its hull and focusing primarily on the weapons arrays.

Allo sees the masked visage of Terrible Dactyl appear on his main screen, "Fossilize the weapons batteries! The weapons themselves will not be damaged, but if the fosslization aura penetrates deep enough, those operating the cannons will turn to stone! It's not perfect, it might not work, but it might slow them down!"

Rex is rocked inside his one man craft as Kakarot slams into it. Life support gear creeps out of his seat, the metallic space gear wrapping around his body, covering every square inch of him in skin tight, temporary space-worthy gear. As the Saiyan King tears at his ship's armor, he stabs at his command console and two long metallic arms, bearing pincers, explode from the front of Rex's ship and immediately go for Kakarot.

"A bug on my windshield Kakarot? That's a hell of a way to go out!"

The pincers clamp around Kakarot and lift him off the ships hull, just as Rex darts under the Bardock's belly. He turns on his afterburners and rises, lifting Kakarot into the armored hull of his own ship, dragging him along it going several times the speed of sound.

Rex fingers his com "Yari, Dimetro, report ... we don't have much time!"

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
Dimetro gets a swift nod. "Then we need to find the central deck..." A glance over the map again, and then Yari turns a hallway! She waves to the others as she indeed double-times it, though not quite going ninja-speed given they have a mage along. Don't want to get separated! She'll head for the nearest elevator upwards, trying to find the central deck. With luck, she might even find a sign or two! That keycard will be used to open any doors, and likely the elevator.

Allo (724) has posed:
While it may be maneuverable the Carrier is simply too large to avoid repeat fire from its attackers. The Dinosaucers are doing a decent job of keeping the hits to minimalized areas so far, but that's a slowly losing battle at the best. The individual fighters continue to swoop in and out of the fight, relying on hit and run tactics to keep the Neo-Saiyans from forming up too easily. They don't go without losses as well, ships pulling back to the carrier if they take too much damage. Or in the worse case scenero, divebomb towards the planet to crash in the ocean away from populated areas. For the most part they are avoiding directly confronting the smaller space-flying foes though, forcing the Neo-Saiyans to either chase them, or risk missing firing attacks against their speed.

Meanwhile on the Carrier bridge, Stego growled at the scanners. "Allo! They're deploying heavier weaponry. Noble is moving on them, but if those flying monkeys keep harassing her she won't have long to work."

At the same time, Terrible Dactyl transmits 'advice'. Allo frowns a bit. "How would you know that we've go... you know what, nevermind. I don't want to know." Allo decided it wasn't important. "Stego, get us lined up for a shot. Even if it doesn't work, it might buy Noble a chance."

Then he clicked a different channel. "Tricero, do you have that special suprise Teryx and Dimentro put together before he departed?"
"A few." Tricero grunted back.
"Now would be a good time to use them, try and keep some of those fighters off the Gundam's flanks."

The Dinocarrier shifts thrusts, rotating itself as it continued to drift in the direction it had been flying to orient towards the laser batteries. The 'mouth' of the pteranadon head opens to deploy the larger cannon. Not even sure if this is going to work on whatever alloy the Bardock is made of, but they don't have anything worse to lose by trying. "Fire!" The fossilizer cannon roars to life, firing petrifying energy that may or may not work at the laser batteries. Though regardless of its success or not the cannon stops firing before the Noble gets too close. Allo is in no mood to risk putting the ally at risk at well.

As Tricero flies his ship towards the Neo-Saiyan's trying to mob towards the Noble he opens fire, shooting what appear to be missiles at first. Except instead of explosions when they detonate they release larger versions of the energy-nets Teryx often uses as a restraint weapon in an effort to tie them up for a bit.

Rebound (750) has posed:
"We need to hurry up." Rebound says as she moves along with the group, "Where is the Central Deck? Navigating this is a lot harder than getting around the sewers. You'd think they'd make things easier to find on a ship. Label stuff or something."

Rebound had sort of figured she was going to have to put her skills to more use, but she thinks it makes more sense to stick to the stealth route as long as they can, considering they're in the middle of the enemy base. Still, they need to pick up the pace before the people outside providing the distraction start to take major losses.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The competition to retrieve wounded Saiyans becomes quite fierce indeed. Serori works to knock them down, and she faces many of the same tactics she'd have used to outmaneuver and isolate their mutual targets for retrieval. As she moves in to recover a downed Red Armor, she notices that her own lines are being picked off similarly, Neo Saiyan forces moving to capture her own forces just as she is trying to capture Kakarot's. This is getting exceptionally weird.

The Nobel Gundam struggles with the Blue Armors, dealing with the grapples by using her size and mobility totry to fling them off. Several fall off, flung away from the Gundam while one of them digs in, flailing as they attempt to climb across the colossal mecha in order to get to a good spot. Allenby has her own target, however. Those laser batteries look really juicy, don't they? She reaches out and touches them nice and hard, the fist caving one in and alloing her to watch it explode with a very satisfying blast. One down! The fighters fly in, shooting at the weapons arrays. The lasers take more hits, some of them going down, others beign deflected by ki shielding. It looks like most of the defenses of the Bardock are 'Saiyans'. Formidable enough by any standards, it seems... At least, until they are shot by ship-scale fossilization blasts. There is a was h of unusual energy, a number of Neo-Saiyans caught in it and screaming as they are turned to stone. Similarly, the massive laser cannons go dormane, the firing slowing down and stopping. For now.

Kakarot yells in pain as he gets grappled by the powerful grippers and dragged along the Bardock. The impact creates a long furrow in the surface, caving in chunks of armor and substructure like BArdock himself was some kind of meteorite impact. Blood spurts out into space as one particularly heavy impact causes him to reel.

Kakarot smiles. "If I'm a bug, I guess that makes me a FIREFLY!" There is a sudden flash from Kakarot's hands as he wrenches his hands together, heedless of what the claws do to him as he focuses a massive ki blast straight into the fighter craft at point blank range.

It's about now that a red blur streaks out into space, Super Saiyan Toma hammering over and over into the Carrier with rapid strikes after closing the distance at insane speeds. "Hi there! I'm here to punch you guys in the nose." He proclaims, trying to work the Carrier over like a speed bag as he heads for the Fossilizer Cannon.

Zuki's power signature, however, increases as she exits out into space. Her armor is blackened and charred, partially melted. It looks like she took it out of the repair area without waiting for it to be fixed. Her face is covered with a makeshift mask, the left two-thirds of her face covered in a mask of some kind. He right eye, visible, is dialated, burning in the golden aura of her Super Saiyan transformation. Her green hair is gone, burned away to a blackened scalp. Her body trembles, as if seized by some mania as she stares out into space, looking for something...

And in the Tarpits III, she finds it. There is a terrifying, feral scream as a ki sphere begins growing on the surface of the Bardock like a second sun, Zuki driving herself forward as she intends to slam it straight into the ship like a massive energy wrecking ball!

Kakarot (723) has posed:
STEALTH TEAM:

Yari and Sanary work together to handle the situation, The keycard is simply colored blue. There are no markings on it to indicate where it might go. Maybe whoever had it had some kind of implicit understanding of its access capabilities or something? Dimentro, however, gives the team an idea of where to go. They head towards the central decks, their illusionary disguises holding as they get into an elevator and ride it up.

Dimentro's guess proves to be precisely correct. The main communications banks are in the central area on an upper deck. The blue keycard opens the door, and they see a large number of comms banks, aliens sitting at many of them with a few Saiyans present, yelling battle commands into speakers and communicating over scouters.

Also standing in the center of the room is the massive, silent Gaplan, who is watching a monitor that shows Zuki going in for her attack on Tarpits III. He looks over towards the door as it hisses open, staring at the group.

He isn't saying anything. Or doing anything. What do you do?

Serori (37) has posed:
The instant one of her wounded saiyans is taken captive, Serori's stomach transforms into a pit of ice. Something wells up inside her, an ugly mix of rage and despair and savagery, and it boils over in a simmering, challenging roar: "KAKAROOOOOOOOT!"

Without another thought, Serori punches through Kakarot's outermost lines, and -- blinded by fury -- she fights to recapture /her people/. The attacks she'd been using had been non-lethal. Bones had broken to her fists, and organs had been pummeled, and ki had flashed across the Void, but she was in control of herself enough to exhibit the necessary restraint. Now, that's gone. She sees the Neo-Saiyans as one distinct enemy force, and she sees /her/ people as the ones in need of her protection.

The gloves come off. Serori, stupid with anger, looks for ways to maim, to hurt, to kill.

It's exactly what Kakarot wants, isn't it? To depict Serori as the vile queen who'll stop at nothing to either enslave or destroy the Neo Saiyan people...

Two of her guards haul ass after her, calling her name, but Serori doesn't hear them. Her fingers digging into the throat of a Neo Saiyan, her teeth bared in a snarl, she stops only because she realizes Kakarot's strategy.

She /has/ to hold back.

She /must/ be the one in control.

Serori tosses the wounded Neo Saiyan toward the arms of her pursuing guardsmen, suppresses a wail of grief, and returns to her original tactics. Suppress. Contain. Control. Taking up non-lethal action again, she and her surviving squadmates resume their duty. It hurts to see her own people taken away -- it hurts more than she thought it would -- but she can't fight for them yet. Their rescue will come later. For now, the mission is what's important.

Kakarot will suffer later.

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
As they finally reach the door, Yari hesitates before swiping. "We deal with anyone inside. I'll use a smoke bomb, then the rest of you help me take out those inside. Ready?"

With that, she takes out a smoke bomb, hiding it with her tail on a several second fuse. A few hand-seals, and then the veins in Yari's face puffs out as magic flows through her body. The world seems to slow down as she swipes the keycard.

Rather than saying anything, Yari finally drops the bomb in a single, smooth motion! POMF! Gas goes everywhere, and thankfully Yari has pulled up a cloth around her mouth and nose. Yari, gripping her sword, draws and pulls the trigger of her gunscabbard! With a powerful strike, hard enough to cut through steel, Yari tries to use the flat of the blade to knock out Gaplan, rushing behind him as she draws! A leaping strike to the neck, the woman spinning in the air as she's a silent blurr of pure motion and speed beyond even that of most ninja's, her magic enhancing every aspect of her attack's speed.

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
Only then, should she succeed in knocking the saiyan out, leaving her compatriots to help clean up the rest, she'll start searching for the port to insert cartridge-soundwave into the great bevy of consoles that is before them!

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Action! Grinning at Yari's order, Sanary gives her a quick thumbs up before drawing the gunaxe to hold it at the ready. "Sounds good. Might have to be creative with this, but." She shrugs and gets into position by the door.

Once the smoke bomb goes off, she goes in low and fast opposite Yari to follow the Au Ra's blade flat strike with a swift thrust of the blunted top of her own gunaxe! It's almost as if they practiced this maneuver.

Of course, with how low Sanary's aiming and Gaplan standing, her blow could very well be aimed at a rather sensitive area. Should that maneuver succeed in taking down the giant, the healer's next move is to threaten those still remaining inside with her axe and try to dispatch them with powerful strikes to the face.

Allo (724) has posed:
Dimentro already has goggles over his eyes as part of his headgear, so when Yari reachs for a smokebomb all he has to do is pull a filter mask off his tool belt and quickly slip it on. Once the smoke bomb goes off, he tromps into the room with the others.

Now typically he wasn't one of the fighters, but that didn't mean he didn't know how to. Once he's clear in the room he stops and turns, swinging his tail to try and smack over several of the alien officers with the arc. That's a good thing to stop if they're giving orders to the fighters outside, right? Though mainly to stop them from jumping on whoever goes to deal with Gaplan. He'd really rather leave dealing with the big man to the more combat oriented individuals.

Rebound (750) has posed:
Rebound is going to go after the biggest target in the room. Which is the silent Saiyan. As soon as the door opens and the smoke bomb fires off, she bounds into the room, using her powerful legs to launch herself at Gaplan, intent on kicking him square in the back with both of those massive feet and send him flying through the monitor he's watching.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Rex drags Kakarot along the belly of the Bardok, a chortle of glee coming from his toothy smirk, when suddenly warning signs light up his HUD as Kakarot gathers his Ki energy. He really didn't need the warning as the crazy blinding light building up behind him was plenty of warning.

His fingers fly across the board, setting his ships controls directly at hull of the Bardock, before hitting the eject button. Just as Kakarot's Ki is released, Rex's ship's canopy flies off and the Tyrannosaur streaks out, aimed for the Dinosaucer Carrier, the aura of the blast catching his tail singing the protective suit and likely the scales underneath.

The ship, erupts in a fiery explosion, but continues its insane momentum toward the Bardok's hull, while Rex himself kicks in propulsion jets, flying toward the Carrier before he is noticed.

Tarpits 3 focuses it's Tyranosaur head on the Ki blast forming on the surface of the Bardok, Terrible Dactyl at it's helm narrows his eyes, "Seems we have a fan down there. Focus all power to the frontal shield array and prepare to respond with the main cannon!"

Plesio looked up, "The main cannon is untessssted ....."

Terrible Dactyl shrugs, "No time like the present."

The arc reactor deep within Tarpits 3 swells with power and the Federation Energy shield surrounding the gigantic battle station increases in power so heavily that it actually becomes partially visible.

Dactyl instructs "Prepare for impact! And be ready with that Cannon!"

Allenby Beardsley (760) has posed:
Seconds after Allenby's fist, by way of Nobel Gundam, plows through a laser array does she notice that she's receiving cover fire, which she later determines to be Dinosaucer ships. She turns, flinging a thumbs up hand gesture at Allo and his crew. As she does so, one of the remaining Saiyans still clinging to the Gundam-this on the forearm-is put on display. Following this gesture, Allenby takes notice of this hanger on and moves to pick the Saiyan off with the other hand.

A Saiyan in hand is not something the Gundam Fighter will let go to waste, though.

Departing from the vicinity of the Bardock, moving laterally, Allenby approaches Zuki from the side, moving in as she is suddenly immersed in generating a massive ki blast at the Tarpits III. She might not be fast enough to prevent the blast from being launched at the Tyranno ship, but she will make it difficult for the Saiyan to repeat the manuver by hurling 'her' Saiyan at Zuki.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
STEALTH TEAM:

The comms room devolves into chaos. The smoke rolls in and the attack team jumps in, three of them rushing Gaplan. He is taken by surprise, Sanary driving a kick into an important area. It's somewhat akin to kicking a rock. Shockingly, it seems that he wears a guard for that area. Meanwhile, Yari strikes at the back of his neck, the impact knocking him forward while Rebound smashes into him, driving his head into the screens with a burst of sparks. Dimentro knocks out one of the battle coordinators with a well-placed tailsmack. In all the chaos, Soundwave is inserted into a system port. The technology is reasonably hardened, but nothing Soundwave can't handle. This is his kind of specialty, after all.

Meanwhile, there's some other, more pertinant problems.

Gaplan isn't unconascious. The smoke rushes out of the room as there is a low growl... And Gaplan himself goes Super Saiyan as he pulls his head out of the console, turning to look at the others.

He cracks his knuckles, and the rest of the people in the room get the hell out of the way.

BGM CHANGE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cu101dw7uc8

With a roar, he moves with a blur, striking with incredibly fast haymakers towards the three who attacked him with the force of a mack truck. The strikes are aimed to try to launch people back out into the hallway where he can presumably begin pummelling without breaking anything.

Soundwave (552) has posed:
Soundwave has remained silent and unobtrusive throughout the mission, letting the rest of the team get to where they all need to go without distraction. It's dangerous enough as it is.

Yari almost forgets that he's not a cassette himself -- that's his agents -- and so the initial plug-in attempts are a bit fumbly. It doesn't take long for the proper cable to be plugged in from himself to the computer system, opening a direct data line accordingly. With the focus on Gaplan's counterattack, he is largely forgotten.

Usually Soundwave would take his time, but expediency is the name of the game here considering the situation. They simply don't HAVE that kind of time. So he hacks in and overcomes the computer's defenses as quickly as possible, subsequently looking for everything and anything that has to do with their mission objective. Copying, stealing, even prepared to transmit codes if that's what it'll take to end this quickly.

Allo (724) has posed:
Good news, the fossilizer cannon worked. Bad news? Firing one that big really put a drain on the Dinocarrier's energy reserves. Not bad enough to take it out of the fight, but enough to put a kitbash on it's maneuvering. "Take us out of close fire range, Stego, widen our range and ready another broadside volley once the capacitor networks recalibrate from the cannon firing," Allo commanded, still managing his calm demeanor. Save a heavier frown at the various transmission over the radio. "Fighters, try to give Serori some cover."

The smaller, more maneuverable fighters, with Tricero in the lead, alter to do that. Specifically they start targeting the Neo-Saiyans trying to abduct the Confederate Saiyans in an effort of warding them away. Then help collect them up if they can.

The Dinocarrier's path will also eventually bring it closer to the Tarpits, too.

Allo wouldn't like to admit it, but he -is- worried Rex might be biting off more than he can chew again.

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
And to think, this was going relatively well. Yari finds herself on the receiving end of a super-saiyan's hammer-like blows that catch her right in the chest! The Au Ra is notoriously light, even with her armor, which does its purpose. Cermite, leather, and metal shatter, revealing a now tattered black shirt beneath as Yari is ejected from the room at a frankly obscene rate. Ribs audibly crack and shatter, and she goes tumbling before finally ending up in a desperate roll to recover. Between the effects of pushing her reflexes to the limit and the blows of the Super Saiyan, Yari is soon coughing up an unhealthy amount of blood. Her lungs burn from the sheer force of both.

Then, Yari flicks her wrist, and five kunai appear in her hand. They're all tipped with numbing poisons made more to deal with massive creatures like elephants, dinosaurs, and other such huge animals. She figures they /might/ work on Saiyans.

Thus, she tosses the kunai at him, only to perform several handseals! Five kunai become around fifty, all equally dipped in that horrible poison. Can she hit, and will it all be enough to make Gaplan say goodnight?

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Well, at least the axe is sufficiently sturdy enough to not break from the impact with Gaplan's protection. Surprisingly enough, it even manages to withstand blocking that haymaker from the angered Saiyan head on! Truly a testament to the weapon's craftsmanship.

Of course, Sanary's not exactly the speedy sort, and she's still pretty much taking that blow head on even while blocking it. The sheer force of the strike sends her tumbling backwards out of the door, skidding several feet along the ground before stopping herself with the wall.

"Holy crap.. Now it's getting interesting!" A pained laugh erupts from the healer as she gathers the magical energy into her hands, going for speed rather than efficiency as she flings it directly at Yari and Rebound in succession to try and mitigate the worst of their wounds. Afterwards, she levels her gunaxe's barrel slash handguard at the Saiyan before firing a volley of Ice shells towards his legs.

Rebound (750) has posed:
Now Rebound is a trained fighter, a master in several different forms of martial arts, but she's never faced off with a Saiyan before. She brings her arms up to block the blow that comes in, and succeeds in keeping it from crushing any vital organs, but sends her sliding back across the room. She drops her tail to the ground to stop her backwards momentum, and then gets the healing from Sanary.

She's going to have to use something other than brute force to beat this guy. She's not even sure she can't beat him, she may just have to do what she can to delay him until the mission is finished. Bounding back towards the Super Saiyan, she hopes she can muster enough speed to evade one of his blows and grab an arm, using her judo skills to send him flying. Because she's unaware that Saiyans can fly and this probably won't work.

Allo (724) has posed:
By the time he's finished the spin Dimentro has a spanner in his hand to use as a weapon. But all the officers just back away... Wait. That's wrong. He's no Tricero or Brontothunder, there is no way they're backing up from him.

Sure enough, the big guh in the room just did that charge up flip-out thing Saiyans do.

What's an engineer to do?... Work with what he knows best, basically.

So why of all things to pull out of his toolbelt, does Dimentro pull out a set of jumper cables?

Because what he does with them is clamp one set of ends to the spanner he already had in hand. Then leaves the wrench floating for a moment via it's little anti-grav unit as he moves in when he gets a chance and goes to hook the clamps onto his armor somewhere.

Then as he hurries out of the way hits the tool control on his belt to reverse that anti-grav, sending the wrench PLUNGING into the terminal Gaplan busted with his face and hoping sending some of that electrical current surging through the jumper cables into the Neo-Saiyan!

Kakarot (723) has posed:
SPACE TEAM: Serori and the Neo Saiyans continue to trade captives, though the presence of Serori is a major boon in her favor at this point. Her own training and power, as a Super Saiyan, is beyond the rank and file of the Neo-Saiyan lines. Where she goes, they are forced to fall back and use combined arms to try to slow her down. She might be taking damage, but she's making a heavy impression. Kakarot just doesn't seem to have enough people to deal wit-

And then Toma blurs in, striking at Serori to interrupt her next attack. "Sorry, Colonel! I can't let you do that!" He apologizes, even as he zips back and forth. It's clear he's fast and he takes pride in it. "How about you just leave and we'll call this good, huh?" He says, smiling, as if he hopes it'll actually be accepted.

Zuki, meanwhile, blurs towards the Tarpits headon. She doesn't seem to care that the main reactor cannon is charging or that they've brought up shields. Her screams in the Void ar suddenly interrupted as Allenby throws the Blue Armor at her, landing a direct hit! Saiyanball will probably not become a new hit sport, however, as Zuki is knocked aside but the ball keeps going, rolling through the air towards the Tarpits! Will she be able to avoid the retaliation strike? And what about the Bardock?

Kakarot gets released when the fightercraft detonates, Kakarot hanging there in space as he watches the craft finishes vaporizing. Rex's plan almost seems like it's going to work, when...

His eyes shift to one side with a low grunt. "Not so fast." He says, vanishing in a zwee of motion as he appears before Rex, delivering a stunning backhand blow. "You're not going to fight me and run away are you? I was just about to respect you for facing something like a King for once in your life." His hands snap out towards Rex's neck as he simply tries to overpower him and choke him out. Or snap his neck. That's fine too. "You're outmatched. In the end, you're going to go extinct. Again."

Serori (37) has posed:
And thus did Toma and Serori fight one another in the background for the remainder of the scene. There's sure to be enjoyment on both sides, and some traded wit, though the fight will no doubt come to a standstill. Serori's player meanwhile oozes off to bed while leaving this play out on autopilot. :)

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
The Tarpits dwarfs the out of control Saiyan as she careens through the void of space, much like a gnat would to a horse. She passes through the energy barrier harmlessly as Federation Starship Barriers are really there to deflect energy weapons. However, the massive battle station masquerading as a T-rex follows her trajectory as she flies past, then swings it's tail like a giant flyswatter.

If there were sound in space, the sound would be "Dink".

Rex grapples with Kakarot, his claws gripping around the Neo-Saiyan's wrist, with all his might. He gasps for air, "Extinct? Again? You forget that /WE/ never went extinct ... *cough* ... that's kinda the point ... Tail for brains ... *HACK* ... you ... yyyy ... ack ... kill ... one ... *cough* .. two will ... rise ... we are legion ... we are ... eternal ..."

This whole gasping conversation plays out over the unified radio. Then there is another sound, as sickening, crunching sound, as Genghis Rex's esophagus collapses and the vertebrae in his neck crumble to dust within Kakarot's grasp.

The Tyrannosaurus body goes limp and hangs in Kakarot's grasp, a rag doll in the weightlessness of space.

Aboard Tarpits III Ankylo watches Rex's vitals flatline and falls to his knees. He paws at the console speechlessly, "Nnnnnno! REX! NO!"

Terrible Dactyl's goggles fogged up. He pulled them off and dropped them to the floor. The orange skinned Pterodactyl placed a claw on Ankylo's shoulder. Rex and Ankylo had been bound together since they day they hatched, the rotund lieutenant didn't just watch his commander die, but the closest thing to a Brother he'd ever known.

Dactyl's yelled into the comlink, his voice cracking, "Everyone keep focused. Restore power back to the thrusters and prepare for a full retreat!"

Similar readouts above the Dinocarrier confirm that Genghis Rex's vital signs have ceased.

The Tyrant King is dead.

STEALTH TEAM: Soundwave's hacking gets him access to the communications systems. Unfortunately for him, it doesn't look like hacking into one system will give him access to the entire ship.

The team begins to move to counter Gaplan's advance. The massive number of kunai smash into the aura around Gaplan, the blades sinking into it almost as if it was a physical thing, before a number of them slash into and pierce him, many of them rebounding off of his armor.

His impassive expression changes a bit as he realizes the blades were poisoned, and he wavers a bit. The ice blasts to his legs cause him to stumble for a moment, giving Dimentio just the time he needs to give Gaplan a SHOCKING EXPERIENCE. The electricity courses through him painfully, causing him to howl, a sound thankfully broken when Rebound takes the opportunity to judo throw him. He goes flying over the group, landing in the hallway.

He lies there for a moment, and then he pulls out a hypospray from in his armor and presses it to his neck. There is a hiss, and he grunts, sitting up and clambering back to his feet. PRO: His movements are sluggish, the team could probably bail and get out of here if they moved fast. And other Saiyans are probably on the way, too. This is rapidly becoming more dangerous.

CON: He just got judo throwed into your only way out. That means you have to get past him to escape.

Gaplan isn't going to wait for you to debate about it, as he stomps forward and prepares to strike again! YOU DON'T HAVE TIME TO MAKE A PROFILE, PRESS A!

Allenby Beardsley (760) has posed:
Allenby will gladly make Saiyanball a sport. In fact, she's making it a sport right now, and clearly making up her own rules as she goes along. Such as right after hitting one Saiyan with another Saiyan, that makes you perfectly okay to collect /both/ of the Saiyans and either keep them or throw them at more Saiyans. It's kind of like pool, in a way.

    Or more accurately, Calvinball.

The Nobel Gundam, fortunately outside of the massive Ki blast, chases after the temporarily spinning pair of Saiyans, catching up with them easily. One hand reaches for each one, attempting to scoop them up in their Gundamanium Alloy-enforced grips. She doesn't /squeeze/ them, merely trying to restrain, still holding the orders of the Saiyan queen to heart. Regardless of what else might be happening during the fight.

Allo (724) has posed:
"..."

Allo just stares at the readings. Did... really... that happen?...

Then he shoves it down. Leader now, mourn for his rival afterwards.

The Dinocarrier finishes its path of transit, weapons powering back up. It pulls into position alongside the Tarpits. It's turrets still fire off a shot here and there, mostly to chase remaining Neo-Sayains away from pursuing Serori's remaining forces or the fighter craft as they're pulling out of the main fight.

What, you expect them to stop because you killed the leader of their enemy? If you weren't threatening to rip their entire planet apart they might be thanking you!

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
This is /exactly/ why having a healer is an emperor-send. Sanary keeps Yari from bleeding out from th strikes, bones re-knitting and bruises lessening as she finally manages to stand up from her attack. Her hand goes back to her sword, the woman at a ready stance.

Anti-toxin. Damn, he's tough /and/ prepared. Really, Yari can respect this man.

Instead of going for her usual sword use, Yari quite simply pulls out a silenced garlean pistol. It's chambered fairly hefty, and she begins to fire off a good dozen rounds as she swiftly retreats back towards the communications room! Now that they have an uplink, she'll roughly grab Soundwave, and toss him into her pocket.

From there? Despite her wounds, she uses another Huton, and spits out a bit more blood before ignoring it utterly. Then? She'll do a flying leap to the ceiling, running across at it as she reloads her gun. Then she's firing her clip right into the man's back, seeking to use her full ninja speed in the retreat! She keeps emptying clip after clip of bullets into the saiyan to distract him, not wanting to abandon her team! Hopefully she can distract Gaplan from Sanary!

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Sanary grits her teeth at the sounds coming through the radio, keeping her one-eyed gaze focused on Gaplan in front of her. Then next to her. Then a short distance behind her. She lets out a relieved sigh at first when it looks like he's down, but groans in irritation once he gets back with that hypo.

"Tough one, eh? Just stay down already and we'll make it easy on you!" Undeterred by that last hit to the face (or possibly because of the concussion), the gunaxe wielder slash healer charges straight at the Super Saiyan. She puts all of her strength into a single haymaker of her own with the handguard's barrel aimed towards Gaplan, trying to intercept him head on! She doesn't settle for just a simple punch, however, injecting energy into the weapon to firing off an Ice shell with the punch. She'll try to not break her stride with the punch and fire more shells into Gaplan from behind after the first one to try and...

... Freeze him to the ground? Freeze his hand to his face? Stick him to a wall? Hopefully, that first one won't just freeze their hands together, but she's not exactly running on all her brain cells at the moment. Her main priority is restricting the Saiyan's movements to cover their escape, after all!

Allo (724) has posed:
Anything it takes Allo says? Well all right then. Yari got Soundwave, so that's one less thing to worry about.

Not everyone can just ninja around Gaplan, however. Dimetro is going to have to do something else.

Like go through him.

As he steps out of comm room Dimentro hits his Dinovolver. Fortunately his primal form isn't nearly as large as some of the other Reptilonians. It's more like a grumpy aligator with a sail sticking off his back. The main point was he was stronger and hand some more bulk to throw around. Fortunately he also had his intelligence, and aims his attempt to ram through Gaplan in concert with Sanary, trying to knock the big guy into the wall so she can freeze him there.

Once the way is hopefully clear he reverts back to his normal form and takes off running after the others.

Soundwave (552) has posed:
Soundwave can sense the change in the proverbial atmosphere, amplified by the orders over the radio. So be it.

In a rarely-induldged bout of trolling, he rips every fragment of data from the system that he can and utterly trashes it in his wake. He even installs backups of the data in the memory banks of each of his agents, just in case. He'd already severed the data connection by the time Yari unplugs him and places him back in the Pocket of Protection +5. From that point on, he's just along for the ride.

The ONLY reason he doesn't transform and join in the combative escape is because getting the data out of here is the most important objective now. If that's damaged, everything would be for naught.

Rebound (750) has posed:
Probably not the best place to throw the guy, but Rebound knows she can get it covered. Sanary's ice strike will hopefully keep the Saiyan off balance as the kangaroo runs forward.

It's a matter of getting in range, but she flexes both legs and launches herself at him, trying to spear him with a shoulder and knock him into the wall. She pulls this off at almost the same moment that Dimentro grows into his larger form and moves to pin the Saiyan down.

Maybe if she's lucky Sanary will freeze him to the wall after she spears him into it, and it'll hold him there long enough for them to get free.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Aboard Tarpits III Ankylo just stares unbelieving at the main screen, tears running down his pudgy face, until a red claw rests on his other shoulder. Ankylo turns his head and his eyes go even wider, but the figure places his finger to his lips in a SHHHH motion.

The figure nods to Terrible Dactyl, who is just as shocked, but he goes back to directing the unified fleet, "Do as he instructs ... get our people out of there and back home ... our mission is complete."

Kakarot (723) has posed:
SPACE:

Allenby grabs the pair of Saiyans and holds them as tight as she can to retrain them without hurting them.

Zuki looks up at the robot. "Let me go." She says, her voice rough and gravelly. "Let mego. Letmego. Metmegoletmegoletmego" She shudders, ki building up around her as she repeats herself. The Saiyan with her yells, and struggles in the grip, clearly trying to get away from the unhinged Super Saiyan. This might be because its starting to get /really hot/ in her hands.

Kakarot, having dealt with the leader of the enemy, looks over to Allo's Dinocarrier.

Holding Rex's corpse in one hand, he holds up his other, a ki blast suddenly exploding outwards and tracing through the area. Fighters begin detonating in the wake of its path. He then points at the Dinocarrier, another charge building.

Rex was the only thing keeping him from wreaking havoc on the rest of the battlefield, and he's gone now.

STEALTH TEAM: Yari goes full evasive, picking up Soundwave and running to escape. Her wall running causes Gaplan to look impressed. The gun also does some damage, blasting off parts of his armor and causing several deep wounds... But he reaches up and slams a fist into the ceiling, a shockwave travelling down it towards Yari at high speed. Moments later, Sanart punches him! This wouldn't be all that impressive on its own, but she backed it up with ice based shells! The frigid blasts begin building up around him, and it takes him a moment to struggle to break himself free. The ice cracks, but doesn't instantly give way, giving them the opening they need! Dimetro and Rebound then slam into him the moment he breaks free, rebounding him (ha ha) off of the wall. It takes him another moment to get up, but by then they have a bit of a lead.

The trip back out of the craft is a harrowing event, with Saiyans chasing them, Gaplan appearing multiple times seemingly out of nowhere, and even a couple light ki blasts being thrown around! 'Light' being defined, of course as 'won't blow a hole in the wall, never mind what it does to soft flesh'.

But they get back to the ship, able to make a narrow escape.

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
It's a harrowing escape indeed, and the numberous saiyans blocking their path don't make things any easier. Yari is forced to use the flat of her blade as they escape, and more than a few kunai to take out (non-lethally) quite a few saiyans in their path. She constantly keeps herself enhanced with her ninjutsu, but the strain of it is telling. Her breathing, by the time they manage to get to the ship, is ragged and she's sporting a broken arm thanks to a ki-blast from Gaplan.

But she does get one parting kick at Gaplan's face before the end of it all, complete with a poisoned kunai aimed to the neck. It likely won't kill, but even Yari can be a little spiteful, even as she /grins/.

It's the best fight she's had in ages. Consider Gaplan on the 'respecting' end of Saiyans for the woman. She neatly, once everyone's in, slams and uses a bolt of lightning to seal the airlock so that they all can depart without further saiyan troubles!

Allenby Beardsley (760) has posed:
"You know I kind of feel like taking prisoners right now." Allenby says mildly, her voice SOMEHOW CONVENIENTLY being transmitted outside in the cold, unforgiving space. It must just work like that here. But as moments pass and Zuki begins powering up, Allenby has second thoughts. "...huh. You feel /strong/. I don't think I've felt any power like /that/ before. Wow." she remarks before releasing the Saiyans into space.

From there, she blasts off to return to the Tarpits III to cover the remaining Reptillions in the damaged ship.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
If anything's a sign that Sanary needs to get stronger, that's the one. Did the punch really not phase the Saiyan at all? Retreating with the rest of the infiltration team, she trails behind the rest of the group momentarily to put yet more energy into the axe before swinging it wildly behind her. It's not aimed nearly well enough to actually hit anyone, but it does leave random patches of ice on the ground and larger chunks sticking out of the walls to provide some small amount of cover from their pursuers.

Then again, it's still just ice. Gaplan's ki blasts are still more than enough smash through the frozen water, and to tear chunks out of her. Thankfully, it's nothing fatal, and the healer manages to get inside a partially-concussed and bleeding mess!

Allo (724) has posed:
There's a whole lotta running to do!

Dimentro gets blindsided a couple of times by others barreling into the corridors, roughing the Dinosaucer up. But he's quick to toss them off and focus on -leaving- rather than spoiling for a fight.

Though at one point he does throw a hammer at one. And at another throw a handful of nuts and bolts down a side corridor like that kid in Home Alone to slow down another ambush. Someone hits him hard enough to shatter one lense of his work goggles, but then gets stabbed with a screwdriver in return. Aren't running battle montages fun!

Dimentro's had to chase enough Tyrannos out of his workshop to at least know how to defend himself with the tools of his trade.

Though he's still feeling pretty wore out by the time they get back to the ships. Speaking of, he grabs Rebound before she can run off, and shoves her towards the Fed ship instead. "No need for two ships leavin'!"

That, and because he rigged their stealth pod to detonate after they leave to help cover their escape, but he's not feeling a need to mention that.

Rebound (750) has posed:
Rebound is not sure how they managed to get out of there. She knows she kicked at least one Saiyan in the face and took a ki blast to the back. She's probably a bit tougher than she looks, but it still hurts like hell.

She finds herself hauled through the air by Dimentro and sent towards the Fed ship, bounding into the Confederate ship and then ducking for cover to clear the door, "Lets get the hell outta here!"

Yari Takane (691) has posed:
Yari all but collapses into her seat as their group finally ends up together in the craft. She yells at the pilot, and with stealth systems fully engaged, the ship breaks way and starts to fly off!

Yari keys up her radio, says a few words, and then promptly passes out, likely right against Sanary from the pure amount of strain her ninjutsu has put on her body as well as her injuries.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Tarpits III takes up a defensive position in the back, as the unified forces head back to Reptilon. Whether Kakakrot knows it or not, he's just been played for a fool and the real damage from todays battle will be at the very heart of his empire.

Allo (724) has posed:
Despite his usual efforts at bravado there's an audible concern in Stego's voice. "Allo, he's going to aim at us!"

"Of course he is." Despite everything that had happened in the last few minutes Allo's demeanor was, while strained, holding his calm. "I'm the only other planetary leader he has to despose of now."

"Allo!" Dimentro's voice cracks over the radio. "We're just pilin' in with the Feddies. Meet ya back at Lavadome."

"Impeccable timing." Knowing the infiltration team was getting out, Allo sat back in his chair and let the harness buckle down. "Execute orbital emergency departure."

"Oh hell yeah. Finally get to open this baby up!" That perks Stego up as he's allowed to finally launch the Carrier's full capacity.

Tthe Dinocarrier launchs into orbital departure speed, opting to rocket into a wide orbital path to loop around the planet itself instead of taking the time to turn around directly and be a target for Kakarot's last attack.
