Kakarot (723) has posed:
THE LAVA DOME, PLANET REPTILON

The massive supervolcano that makes up the Lava Dome of Reptilon stands as a beacon of the ingenuity of the native peoples, harnessing the violent forces of the Earth itself in order to give the Reptilonians the benefit of clean, limitless power. A hundred miles of civilization rings the tamed volcano, where all bask in the benefits it brings to their people.

This time, there is no golden star above the target. This time, a ki sphere blossoms brilliantly over the Volcano, like a waiting star of destruction.

Howls of anger and rage are heard from the nearby Serpent's Spine Mountains, as massive Oozaru transform, rising up. Instead of attacking the Dome in a berserk rage, their crimson eyes shine with determination and intelligence. Kakarot had been holding back until this moment.

These Oozaru slam their fists into the ground, into mountains, and rock shelves and cliffs, the ground trembling with massive shocks as the Reptilonians suddenly realize they are surrounded in a ring of guerilla gorillas, each hoisting massive hunks of stone.

Which they begin hurling into the city around the Lava Dome, aiming to crush as much of the city as possible, as if they were playing a sick, twisted game of bowling.

Near the ki sphere, Zuki, Gaplan, and Kakarot hover, having concealed their power levels along with their other forces to evade detection. The strategies of Bardock hold true even now.

Serori (37) has posed:
Confederate and Union forces swarm across Reptilon's city like ants in their mound. Though still outpopulated by the natives, it's a testament to Reptilon's perceived value that both factions have dedicated such significant forces to the planet's defense. Among those stationed semi-permanently on the surface are Serori and her escort force. The Colonel had given Rex sole command over the joint operations quite some time ago, but she had never abandoned her duty to him, or to the people she'd befriended. Tonight is no different. She stalks from station to station, inspecting defenses, medical stations, and other support teams for any failings.

All must be made ready for --

...for Kakarot's return. The first alarm reawakens the tension and dread she'd managed to set aside for a few hours. Right away, her blood begins to pulse in her temples like pounding war drums. Serori's jaw clenches hard, and her upper lip pulls back in a vexed snarl. "To the front lines," she growls at her escort force, her voice low and savage. A quick prodding at her scouter confirms the general location and range of Kakarot's deployed forces. "He's come for the Lava Dome."

The saiyans clustered around her manage to smile in barbaric satisfaction, but she's too aware of the risks to share their excitement.

Serori and her team hit the air in a broad diamond formation. As they fly toward Kakarot's team, their bodies contort and grow huge, the four saiyans flanking Serori -- and Serori herself -- drinking in the moonlight to trigger their own transformations. Five great apes, all of them nearing forty feet in height, the tallest approaching fifty -- it makes for an impressive vanguard in this latest battle.

They stop together at Reptilon's front lines, and from there, Serori bellows her challenge. "KAKAROOOOOOOOOOT! SHOW YOURSELF!"

What better way to conquer fear than to face it head on?

Sanary Rondel has posed:
That was... That was something they were going fight, wasn't it? Sanary's mouth is feeling a little on the dry side as she watches the massive gorilla warriors raining chunky, rocky death upon the Reptilonian city, her eye darting from side to side slowly at the others allies around her.

"... We'll be fine. As long as we're careful? Yeah. Great." She breaks into a laugh as she says that, sounding surprisingly confident considering how outclassed she'd be fighting even a single hand of those massive beasts. Of course, those who have actually flown with her before would probably recognize that laughter as anything but confident.

She's got her armor on, at least. Maybe that could keep her from turning into paste if a rock happens to come her way. Or fist. Or... Anything, really. She reaches up to adjust the transmitter wedged into her helmet, fiddling with it a bit and taking a long breath before speaking into it.

"Medic squad on standby. Let's kick some ass and get back alive, eh?"

Rhapsody (325) has posed:
For days, if not weeks, there has been all manner of preparation around the Lava Dome. While others had done things in their own way, The Izzet League had more 'interesting' ideas if their biases were to be believed. Today, not one, but all three of the dragons that had inherited the league from their father, barely over a year ago, arrive almost instantly as soon as trouble rears its ugly, furry, ape like head. Or heads in this case

Deep within the Lava Dome itself, a flurry of activity begins as soon as Ryxinel, Rhapsody, and Sidonia emerge from the warp gate nearby. The only brother of the three quickly takes charge of the magewrights within. Mana-Generators are activated, specialized lenses of an 'intelligent' sort begin to activate. The blue sister of the trio makes her way, silently, through all, Izzet and Reptilon-native alike, watching for any mere sign of treachery. While the three felt as though Kakarot was above subterfuge and trickery, they refused to be caught off guard should such a surprise move be made.

Once she arrives at a command point on the volcano itself, Rhapsody begins sending follow-up orders to her personnel inside, and the forces she had brought to defend the Lava Dome only days earlier. As massive chunks of rock and stone are thrown toward the cities around the great volcano, the oozaru flinging said boulders would find that things were in place.. perhaps not for flying boulders.. but certainly for an aerial assault.

    "ALL CANNONS, FIRE!"

With a single command, the air around the mountain, and the cities, is set alight by the Mana Assault Tanks that had been deployed. The blasts, each appearing as a swirl of red and blue, impact their targets with the ferocity of the two opposite mana types exploding at each other. As the defense begins, and Rhapsody's command is followed, the white scaled dragoness pulls out her red spellblade and jams it into the stone at her feet. "I will not allow brute force to define a victory, here, or anywhere, now, or ever.."

Glitter (721) has posed:
Glitter has not been involved on Reptilon much except for some assistance early on.

That was a mistake. Just because she doesn't like war (and she doesn't; Glitter has no particular bloodlust and does not like killing, and war is too easy to kill people in) doesn't mean she shouldn't be involved. And when civilians are at risk - well, then she doesn't even need to think about it.

Glitter flies. She flies quickly but not agilely at speed; she is basically picking herself up and hauling herself along with telekinesis. She leaves a sparkling trail behind her as she approaches at near supersonic levels, slowing down to a velocity she can actually steer well at.

She doesn't initiate an attack. She goes in low, reaching up at the incoming rocks; they're big and moving fast but not so much that she can't move them, deflecting one away from the city as it drops with a stream of glittering light.

If they're going to keep using rocks that big, though, she's going to have to work pretty hard...

Krezentia Einjager (758) has posed:
"OK, but I need it NOW," Krezentia complains, as she stands before a golden set of magitech drones and supports holding up purple and blue power armor of a sort, with half of a glowing purple gear in its open chest cavity.
"It's not ready, dear!" Iris says, lifting her SCIENTIST GOGGLES up.
"MOM! Can't you hurry it up?!"
"Not unless you want daddy's armor to blow up on you."
    "I HATE YOU, MOM!"
    Krezentia huffs and teleports off.
    "Tsk tsk, teenagers." ~giggle~

    NOW, REPTILON:

It's out of a purple wormhole that Krezentia emerges-- overhead one of the massive apes, as they pour into the Lava Dome and start spreading utter devastation to it. She's pissed! She's going to take it out on a giant monkey.
Or get her bones crushed again.
PLEASE let it not be get her bones crushed again.
    Fricking Gaplan.

    "GEWEHRSTOSS!"

Seems her first order of business is to just drop in with a crescent, plasma and magic trailing kick to the back of a head. She's going to try to grab onto the thing's fur afterwards, to not go straight to the ground after that.

Vegeta (663) has posed:
Vegeta is still healing, he wants to make sure that he's -perfectly- healed before he joins this battle, milking every minute that he can spare before he personally has to intervene.

In front of Vegeta's tank are three mysterious shadows, listening as Vegeta gives orders. "The androids are gone, so this is your chance to actually be useful. Go out there and stop them by any means. Lives are at stake, so take as many men as you need. I'll be joining you shortly."

Outside, hundreds of soldiers in assorted Saiyan armor pour out of Vegeta's ship, parked randomly in the city. They swarm outward and begin firing beams at rocks, trying their best to protect the city rather than try to grab every individiual civilain.

Then high above the city, three figures appear. One tall, green, muscular alien, Dore. Another tall, toned and slender frog-like alien, Neiz. And in the middle, their shorter leader, the glam rock haired and blue-skinned Salza. Their armor only has a single shoulder pad each. "It appears that we have been given ze free reign to do as we like. Go for their tails."

They all suddenly strike a pose. "Cooler's Armored Squadron!"

"Oy, shouldn't we change the name?" Dore asks in his seemingly British accent.

"Of -course- not, we have ze notoriety to consider!" Salza helpfully points out.

That's when Dore very quickly flies toward one line of oozaru, firing wide yellow finger beams. "Oy! Taste my Dore Barrage!!!"

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
The sky darkens, but not through any supernatural means. The pitch black cloud that rolls over Reptilon and spreads wide is neither vapor nor shadow, formed instead by thousands of beating feathered wings. Black beaks open in hoarse caws and countless red eyes gleam among the darkness, but the murder presses relentlessly onward toward the Lava Dome in preparation to defend it. They wind through the hurled boulders, refusing to attempt to stop them - what, after all, could they even do? No, that's for the other forces, for Castlevania has contributed a good number of followers to defending Reptilon's city.

As the stream swoops back toward the front lines, demons and hideous beasts rise up from the streets to come to Reptilon's aid. Lesser demons with blue skin, cloven hooves, and leathery wings; greater brutes at least three times a person's size, with massive arms meant only to crush or tear and heads either like a fiendish goat's or bulbous and tentacled like a demonic octopus; fluttering mothmen whose multicolored wings sprinkle sparkling dust and whose two great eyes flash like headlights; flying skeletons, floating tailed eyeballs, and less nameable things all rising up in defense of the city. The physically strongest level their might toward blocking the great boulders, and those that still have the strength attempt to hurl them back at the oozaru. Fireballs and crackling beams are shot from the assorted fiends toward Kakarot's forces, but most of their strength is spent on sparing the city.

Finally, the murder of crows coalesces into a single form high above the city and behind the front lines. A single humanoid shape, as black as ink and shadow and featureless save for the oozing pits that form what resemble eye sockets and a mouth, his hands and feet tipped with jet-black talons and two broad wings fluttering behind him. The only color he grants is the golden necklace draping across his chest. The crow demon Malphas watches Castlevania's minions defend the city and looks toward the glowing orb above the dome, considering his options in eerie silence.

Deelel has posed:
Deelel wasn't able to bring as much as help as some, however thanks to Kernal who'd bene more than happy to spare a few cartes worth of turrets to the people who'd help save his system of THE CLOUD. THe weapons have rezzed to life as the weapon attacks firing bolts of energy. Deelel herself is here with her keyblade in hand and takes a deep breath. It's funny she doesn't need to do it but she's picked that habit up from humans. She didn't even think about it anymore. She looks over the battle and narrows her eyes a bit. IT wa time to get into the battle now.

"Just like Clu, tch."

With that Deelel now moing into the battle. She was down in the exity and joins much as Dracula's minions are doing, moving to intercept hte boulder but she's using the Dual Disc to cast lightning spells to blow the rocks to gravel.

Vivio Takamachi (737) has posed:
Vivio had read about the problems happening on Reptilon, though to date had not yet participated herself. However, when word reaches her of an attack against the city... Well, there's lots of people who could get hurt in such an attack! And Vivio's not going to sit back and do nothing when she can help!

Of course, having arrived to see giant gorillas throwing equally giant rocks at the equally giant city... Vivio feels a little overwhelmed. She's not sure what she can DO to help. Already in her adult form, complete with Barrier Jacket, Vivio rubs the back of her head at the sight of the large battle and turns to look at the plush bunny floating in the air beside her, "Ehehe... What should we do, Chris?" Vivio's Device points on of his arms up into the air. Turning to look, Vivio catches sight of Glitter deflecting one of the large rocks... Vivio grins, "Hey yeah, good idea!"

Taking to the air, Vivio quickly flies up to land on the roof of a building. Sweeping her hand out to the side, several orbs of iridescent light appear in the air around her as Vivio calls out, "Sonic Shooter..." She swings her arm around to point into the air at some of the incoming rocks, "Assault Shift!"

Vivio's orbs fire a barrage of beams towards the flying rocks. On contact the beams explode, breaking the large rocks into mostly harmless debris.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Sirens blare all across Lavadome City as civilians run for cover. HUGE bunkers rise out fo the ground, the teeth on the giant metal doors slit open as families drop whatever they have and grab up unattended hatchlings and head for the protection of the underground.

Military forces begin to amass, both Tyranno and Dinosaucers spring into action. Triceracops run through the streets, herding civilians towards the nearest bunkers. It's pretty clear that this race of space dinosaurs are entirely too familiar with the art of war for all their internal conflict.

Weapon emplacements swing their turrets around, while the hulking Gigas tanks rolls into position, their twin cannons souring the horizon for targets. As the inevitable barrage of laserfire torrents out towards the Oozaru, building collapse around them. A Gigas explodes as a boulder bowls it over, it's occupants immediately crushed inside.

A broadcast tower is clipped and collapses, crashing across the midway leading to a bunker. Triceracops immediately start tending to the injured and ushering the still able bodied in another direction.

Genghis Rex stands outside the crippled Tarpits 3, his tail swishing behind him in aggrivation when his com alerts him, "They're after Lavadome, Bossasaur ... it's time ..."

Rex lowers his head, clenching his claw and taking a deep measured breath before speaking, "Tarpits 3 will not fly tonight. Scrambled all available fighters! Every tank, everybody that draws breath and head for Lavadome! I want every gun out there. If you're out of guns, use knives, if we're out of knives, use your damn claws and teeth!"

"You got it *snort snort*"

Rex then rushes for his personal fighter.

Allo (724) has posed:
Once again the inevitable has come knocking on their doorstep. But this time they've had a chance to at least try and prepare for the worst, while still hoping for the best of their chances.

Or so Allo has kept telling himself the last few days. Because if they didn't manage to make things work now, well.... things were going to get very bad and very ugly VERY fast.

Though the sound of the additional offensive force provided by the Izzet League opening fire does bring a brief, if solemn, smile to his features. The forces provided by both Union and Confederates would be taking to action almost immeadiately as the first alarms sounded. His own people were out there, either preparing to defend themselves, dealing with damage control, or getting the civilians to safe points in case the call for full evacuation of the city needs to be made. Dimentro was down in the depths of Lava Dome alongside the Izzets to make sure all the precautions they've painstakeningly have put in place are ready, as was Teryx until her medical expertise was needed as well. Stego and Icky had command of the Dinocarrier should it be needed for an offensive push, or as additional evac space if things got dire for the city.

Knowing they weren't going into this fight alone made it a little easier.

The gates to one of the fortified security posts on the perimeter of the super-volcano slide open, allowing Allo to march out, already switching off the safety of a heavier laser assault rifle. Weaponry was not one of his favorite things, and just seeing him carrying something larger than the typical Fossilizers does get a few looks from locals before they go back to the emergency at hand.

Time to be the leader his kind needed him to be, even if it wasn't exactly the type of leader he wanted to be most of the time. He never thought of himself as a hero, but he was a defender, and that is what he was going to do.

But even in that he wasn't alone, as his stepping out onto the battleflied in person was flanked by Tricero on his left, who was cocking a smaller tactical rifle and then tucking it in one arm so he could pull a riot shield borrowed from his days as a law officer off his back with the other.
To the right of Allo opposite of him, Brontothunder didn't bother with heavy firearms. He just put his massive hands together to crack the knuckles of one against a palm, and then switched to do the same with the other.

Then the towering sauropod just up and -catchs- one of the huge rocks being flung at the city, unflinching save a brief grunt of strain. Then grins. "I think they're trying to play catch. Ain't that cute." Then Bronto HEAVES the rock back towards the Oozaru lines outside the city. "BUT ITS WRONG!"

Allo and Tricero just stop and turn their heads to -stare- at Brontothunder. Who only shrugs in return. "What? Brachio was a fellow gladiator. He deserves SOME sort of tribute."

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The response is instant, a credit to them. They all knew this was a critical target. It was only a matter of time before he came. The only question is if they are prepared for the measures that the this man would take to try to seize victory from what seems like inevitable defeat. Surely he would not be able to win past an entrenched force with both Union and Confederate forces present to stop him, right?

The counterattack begins with their own Oozaru. The Ki Sphere works both ways after all, and Serori's contingent are just as dangerous in their Great Ape forms as the Oozaru of the Neo-Saiyans. They approach the outer ring, and Serori bellows her challenge as the air fills with bolts of mana, ki, coherent light, and other forms of directed murder. Several of the Oozaru eat fused mana counterassaults and stagger from the impact, falling back and creating a break in the mountainous 'shelling' that could be capitalized upon.

Glitter too, uses her powers defensively as she works to protect the city by making the massive hunks of stone land away from civilian and military targets. Everything helps in this conflict... And yet the forces of Hell themselves stand against the Neo-Saiyans, as they work to join the defense efforts. Beams and fireballs crash into flying mountains, breaking them up and trying to distribute the impacts to reduce the impact damage. It might feel weird for Deelel to be working alongside such demons, but her own contributions shatter a cliff hunk that hurled through the air into chunks, as does Vivio. It's like playing Asteroids, if Asteroids was also Missile Defense and Donkey Kong.

Krezentia smashes into the back of another Oozaru's head with a plasma axe kick. It roars in surprise and immediately tries to slams its hand back up against the back of its head, trying to dislodge the deadly rider from its back. The smell of burned fur and flesh is super real. Meanwhile, Cooler's Armed Squadron takes the field, blasting at a group of Oozaru with the Dore Barrage. The yellow beams knock another group back, opening terrible wounds as the defensive emplacements of Reptilon rake across their targets, searing them.

One particularly lucky shot takes one of the Oozaru in the eye, causing it to fall back with a howl as it clamps down on the wound. Moments later, the response from Brontothunder hammers into the Oozaru next to him, smashing him into the ground with a painful-sounding snap and a groan of pain. It must be fantastically strange to see Dinosaucer and Tyrrano fighting side by side like this, but the invading force has resulted in strange bedfellows.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Kakarot, hidden to ki senses, glances to one side. He gestures to Zuki and Gaplan. "Phase 2. Go."

They don't speak, instead a green and blue star lighting up in the air as they transform to Super Saiyan and break off. Meanwhile, the ground shakes as Neo-Saiyans erupt en masse from underground, having burrowed into the area during the initial assault. The ground heaves as sinkholes upen up from several hundred Neo-Saiyans popping out of the earth in battle formation. Each of them is wearing a helmet, a pair of goggle-like objects on their eyes that looks like polarized lenses. They don't seem worried about the ki ball... Did they invent... Moonshades?

The red-armored Neo-Saiyans break off, scattering to engage swift aerial units and attempt to take out defensive emplacements with precision targeted strikes. The blue-armored Saiyans stomp forward, deploying overlapping ki shields to defend against the withering fire directed towards them, while green-armored troops engage in rotating rank fire strikes to fire back against the Gigas tanks and innumerable enemies that have been arrayed against them.

None of them care about collateral damage.

Meanwhile, Zuki and Gaplan land before Serori's battle contingent, the silent Super Saiyan crossing his arms in defiance while Zuki juggles ki spheres, both of them also wearing the strange eye coverings. "Hey there, Colonel. I'd say I was sorry it had to be like this but well, you're a damn race-traitor. Those lizards are going to spit on your corpse by the time we're done." She chuckles in a slightly unhinged way.

The sky lights up as a golden star rises into the air, headed... /away/ from the battle. It's undoubtedly Kakarot, but why is he flying /away/ from Reptilon and the battlefield?

Serori (37) has posed:
"You -- Shiso -- get to Glitter's location." Serori looks to her left. The oozaru standing there snaps off a smart salute, then drops from the formation. "Moroko, Kyuu, move into position to intercept the new forces. Sweep the field; be mindful of your collateral." Two other oozaru fall from Serori's formation to carry out her orders.

"Okone, retrieve Roko from the lava pools." The fourth oozaru has the intelligence to appear somewhat skeptical of the request before he, too, flies away to carry out the command. That no one questions her just goes to show how loyal these guards have become in their short service to their queen. As Okone departs, Zuki and Gaplan make their appearance. Serori watches their approach with her great fangs snapping at the air.

It doesn't take long for Shiso to arrive at Glitter's area. The forty foot great ape lands beside Glitter with a huge THUD. "I'm here to assist you by Colonel Serori's orders!" Shiso's growling boom of a feminine voice is directed to Glitter. "I will provide support!" And it's a good thing, too. Glitter may need some protection from the swarming Neo Saiyans while she carries out Dactyl's plan.

Moroko and Kyuu, meanwhile, fly together above the battlefield, loosing mouth cannons against the field in a cautious but no doubt effective bombardment. Of course, a couple of great apes make for big targets, so it's no surprise that those Neo Saiyans manage to do some harm. Kyuu wobbles mid-air from repeated ki blasts pummeling his form, but his massive shape can take some serious punishment. He seems to be playing tank to Moroko's DPS.

Okone hastens to pull Roko from his current resting place. The Agnaktor writhes in his lava pool, made restless by the action inside. Hissing clacks are produced as he snaps his heavy beaky maw together as if he demands to know what's happening, why, and who would dare to fight without his assistance! It's going to take Okone a little time to get Roko into position...

Serori looks to her opponents. Behind her body, her massive tail swishes back and forth like a cobra preparing to strike. The baleful red shining from her eyes blazes brighter. "I know how you two fight," she snarls. "You will not defeat me so easy."

Oozaru against Super Saiyans? Serori should be outmatched in terms of raw power. Let's see if her cleverness and speed make up the difference!

Even as a forty-foot monster monkey, she's fast. Her limbs move in half-seen blurs, but it's Instant Transmission which makes her so dangerous. In a flash, she teleports into place below Zuki and Gaplan, her maw aimed up toward the heavens. A blistering pink beam fires straight up to consume both Neo Saiyans inside its destructive radius.

Glitter (721) has posed:
When other people start breaking up the rocks, Glitter switches from pushing back intact ones to catching all the fragments so that they don't start showering down on the city. Some smaller ones do fall, but she manages to catch them in bundles, pushing them back and away.

Dactyl gives her an idea, and Glitter grins for a moment. She lets her comrades deal with rocks for a moment, focusing for a long moment. She focuses, reaching out toward some of the Oozaru, making a sweeping motion with her hand.

One of the Oozaru is briefly surrounded by a cluster of sparkles. If he doesn't move real fast, he finds himself being dragged about a foot above the ground at the /next/ closest Oozaru - and on impact, Glitter releases the first, 'grabs' a different one, and repeats the process like some kind of deranged billiards game, knocking people over to disrupt the attack. And hey, it stops the rocks if they've fallen and can't get up, right? Right.

The arrival of more from underground stalls her. Glitter isn't sure what to do about those at first, but when the shields go up she sees her job. Glitter doesn't try to break the shields so much as pick them up - shield and all - tossing them backwards as she flies more slowly along the lines, attempting to leave chaos in her wake.

She realizes Kakarot has flown off, though mostly because she's been told. That could be bad, but Glitter's first priority is protecting the city by disrupting the attack - anything else is secondary. Having the honour guard is a good thing. "Thanks!" she says to Shiso, because she does in fact need that protection; Glitter can defend herself, and has deflected several bolts already, but she's more focused on disrupting the attack than making any particularly impressive blows herself.

Vegeta (663) has posed:
"Hehehehehe!!!" giggles the red form of Neiz, who starts flying through the air, trying to ram and -bite- saiyans who pop up from the ground. Cooler's Armored Squadron are bringing the fight back into the city now that there are more managable threats.

"Oy, I wanna see how many saiyans I can take at once!" Dore shouts, trying to engage numerous saiyans into hand to hand combat.

Salza floats above the city, firing beams while scanning the enemy forces with his scouter, and giving orders through it as well. "Everyone, your priority is now to take on ze enemy in one on one combat, do not allow them to damage ze city!" he orders, as the hundreds of soldiers shift from blocking rocks, to trying to engage the underground forces. Salza uses his considerably higher strength to try and take on firing at the rocks -himself-, firing shot after shot in rapid succession.

"I've had enough..." says the voice of the Saiyan King, the liquid draining from his healing tank as he steps out of it.

Today is not a day to be a simple soldier, no, today is a day to be a king. He doesn't dawn his usual vest armor, instead he heads over to one of the armor displays in the medical area, and removes his regalia armor. Long shoulder pads, the royal crest on the left side of the chest, and the long cape with black on the back, and a red inner lining.

He rises from the top of his ship, then stares directly into the sky, his entire body beginning to grow, stretching his armor and inexplicably his cape along with it, until the massive form of Vegeta's Oozaru body is standing on top of the entire ship, fully covered in the armor of a Saiyan King. "I am Vegeta, the King of All Saiyans! I acknowledge your king's right to lead you, but I do not condone this war! All of you who die here today by my hand will be forever honored, and any who back down will be shown mercy!"

He hops from his ship and into the air, then lets out a piercing, "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!" as he fires a massive kaiju beam from his mouth, moving it along a vertical line to try and attack multiple enemy Oozaru at once.

When he lands, he tries to land directly on top of one, still roaring like a wild animal, showing a brutally efficient level of speed for something so huge.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Genghis Rex pulls hard on his flight controls and swings his craft around as friendly fire and flying stone crisscross around him. He targets the biggest furry thing he can find and opens fire with a barrage of Fossilizer blasts.

A shell explodes in the air only a few feet from his cockpit, rocking the Tyranno's ship, shards of shrapnel piece his ships hull and he begins trailing smoke. "Watch it down there! I'm on your side!"

Oh sweet irony.

A group of Gigas swing up over the mountains behind the Oozaru and grind to a halt. They are still several miles away, but they are barely within artillery range. Shells surge forward on the Ozzaru legion but this time from behind, while Tyranno craft circle around pelting the oozaru with smaller rounds, while trying not to be shot down in the process.

Rex eyes the golden star headed for orbit and exhales, "Not falling for it ..." he heaves on his flight controls and streaks toward Serori's location, smoke billowing from his damaged craft.

"Serori! I've got your back!"

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
Malphas only needs a short time to gather his own plan. It's a simple one, really; perhaps the saiyans might have a tactic against it, but that will have to be seen when he carries it out. As the earth erupts and oozaru are assaulted by kin and foe, Malphas simply throws out one talon-tipped arm toward the ball of moonlight. An extra pair of wings erupts from his spine as if bursting through tar, and from his oozing body bursts a roiling flock of crows flying as fast as their black wings will carry them.

It's remarkable how many the crow demon can summon. Nearly as many as when he first arrived burst from his body, swarming straight for the orb of moonlight. Without a moment's hesitation, they move in dense formation to flock around the entire orb, jet feathers swiftly obscuring the light coming from it and barely flashing out in brief cracks as light struggles against darkness. The crows refuse to leave their charge unless someone disrupts them, and until then, those not busy blotting out the light attempt to swoop into it and disrupt its form if at all possible.

And what of Castlevania's forces? With the storm of boulders weakening, Hell's minions are able to turn their attention to the speedy Neo-Saiyans darting through the air. The sky erupts with assaults. Fists the size of columns swing and crush. Fireballs and blazing skulls burst with infernal fury. Orbs of concentrated nightmare the size of boulders roll through the sky to overwhelm those unfortunate enough to be hit with spirit-gouging terror and agony. Toxic wingdust sparkling like sunlight tumbles in clouds through the air, aimed to choke and cripple. Several fall, but the forces of Hell are many; where the average Neo-Saiyan may be physically stronger, these demons find strength in overwhelming numbers.

So too are the ground forces protected, by those tentacled fiends and lumbering behemoths and aged bones not taking to the skies. Unfortunately, Hell's fiends are not made for protection; others will have to tend to the fleeing Reptilonians while Castlevania's forces assault ground and sky with wrathful abandon.

Rhapsody (325) has posed:
Cannons fire, mana-shells explode, and all around the Lava Dome, the Izzet League's tanks are firing at anything that they can confirm isn't an ally or a civilian. The break in the barrage of boulders is quickly reported to Rhapsody from one of her magewrights. A glance is sent in that direction, and then an order is given. "Move group 4 into the opening and start pouring it on from the edges! Pincer them between 4, and the interior groups!"

It's just after her order is given that the ground begins to shake. A worried transmission is quickly sent to her brother inside the Lava Dome, "It's not the mountain, it's coming from out there!" Ryxinel explains. This information is quickly relayed to her allies. As the apes begin to rush up from below ground, the Guildmaster is quick to react.

"Open the warp gates and get our second wave out there!" Rhapsody quickly orders. It would seem that Kakarot isn't the only one that can plan a surprise. Out of the gates start to rush two different type of very peculiar elementals. Steamcore weirds, which are a fusion of water and fire elementals, and Petrahydrox, a fusion of air and earth elementals, move to give the emerging oozaru forces something very 'unique' to deal with. The scalding water of the Steamcores and the unending assasult of stones from the Petrahydrox move to sear and bludgeon as the assault tanks begin to reposition. "ALL LINES, Engage on the emerging apes! Don't let them get into the volcano!"

Meanwhile, deep in the volcano, Ryxinel continues his preparations with the assistance of Dimetro, Teryx, and the magewrights that have come to support him. "All generators are running at 70 percent and are ready to 'spike' at a moment's notice to power the lenses! Just give the word!" he transmits to all important parties. "Test us, damn ape, TEST US!"

Allo (724) has posed:
Looks like they've got more to worry about than space ape artillery, as several dozens of OTHER forces come bursting out of the ground as well, diverting by any anti-air defenses that are in place with the city. And these one's aren't transforming into giant raging monkeys. "Well played," Allo rumbles in grudging admittance to the tactical strategy under his breath.

Immeadiately Tricero stops reflexively and fires off a few quick shots, then brings up the riot shield in front of them as the Dinosaucer trio are almost immeadiately under fire. Allo pauses behind him and fires off a few quick shots with his rifle as well, but then hunkers down behind his friend's defense and diverts his attention to the comm in his helmet and the local communications network for the city. <<All Lavadome defenses, this is Dinosaucer Commander Allo.>> A grunt and pause as attacks rattle off Tricero's shield, waiting a moment to make sure there's no background noise to drown out his orders before continuing. <<The enemy assault has escalated beyond the point of the city remaining a safe haven. Initiate all emergency evacuation protocols and remove all non-defender personal from the danger zone. I repeat, Lava Dome is NOT CONSIDERED SAFE any longer. Allo, out.>>

Brontothunder is unsurprisingly undaunted by numbers of physical strength. Granted, he's still a bit of a big brute, but working with Allo and the other Dinosaucers has taught him some amount of tactical thinking, at least on his feet.

Or in this case, WITH his feet. He turns towards one of the emerging landbound squads of Neo-Sayains. "How about a little lesson in why I'm called a THUNDER lizard?!" To which he slams one massive foot into the ground hard enough to certainly make a thunderous sound. More importantly, with the pavement already wrecked and weakened by the tunneling attacks, it's likely to cave the ground right back in on them and hopefully take some of those groundpounders with them.

Deelel has posed:
The Sayains under Kakarot's command have used a lot of tatics the species normally wouldn't think about. He was a ruler who got his people to think about more than just rushing in to close with the enemy and use brute force. Someere perhaps Deelel is channeling the programs who ran the game AI for those games of yesteryear? Who knows.

She keeps up her barrage of spells trying to keep the city intact az she can, however she knows sometrhing else might be going down.

With the Oozaru's barraged lessend so Deelel stat to work on anotehr spell leveling her key blade she attempts to cast a Gravity spell which might just end up pulling some of the Oozaru up together and making them an easier target for the other defenders.

Krezentia Einjager (758) has posed:
The giant ape tries to swap Krezentia like a fly; fortunately you tend not to cling to something that huge without expecting it. Doesn't help you repel it, just helps you expect it!

The massive hand comes crashing-- well, swatting-- for the back of the Oozaru's head, and Krezentia leaps, to stand atop the head instead. It's a barely-gone-right thing, because her leg still gets clipped, and she gets pinned to the beast.

Well, that means she's laying on the head, at least.

"Headache incoming, big guy! Hope you can crush my leg before--" What, finish the taunt? No way. Her hands are already glowing, and moments later she lets loose a double, fully charged burst onto the beast's cranium. It's plasma and magic; the magic part is blunt, can't pierce skin, but boy it burns. The plasma core, on the other hand, is pretty much what you expect.

Vivio Takamachi (737) has posed:
Vivio is glad that they have people here who seem to be good at directing large battles, because Vivio has no idea what needs to be done here! She mostly just wings it as she continues to blast the rocks out of the sky with her lasers.

Now what!? Vivio watches as people begin to pop up out of the ground... Really? As if the giant rock throwing gorillas... Or is that rock throwing giant gorillas... Or both? Anyway. As if they weren't enough, now they have burrowing people!

Vivio turns her attention towards the Neo-Saiyans popping up. They seem more coordinated. And those look like barriers... Vivio is guessing her ranged assaults aren't going to do much good. So, she taps the tip of her right boot against the rooftop, wheels of light appearing on the bottom. She does the same for the left, then lowers her stance. Magic kicks up behind Vivio as the mana wheels start spinning, she then launches forward, skating right off the roof.

Hitting the ground, Vivio starts to speed towards the encroaching line of Neo-Saiyans. She swerves to the sides to avoid their fire. Those that are too close to avoid, Vivio raises a hand to to project a Round Shield, soaking up the blasts.

As Vivio reaches the line of interlocked ki shields, she jumps. The Mage soars over the line, slowly spinning in the air as magic begins to crackle around her right hand. As she begins to fall towards a group of the soldiers, Vivio calls out, "Accel..." She brings her arm back, fist of iridescent light ready as she aims not for any one Neo-Saiyan, but rather in the middle of them, "SMASH!" Vivio's fist hits the ground amidst the group, magic flaring and an explosion blasting out from the centre to knock the group over and shake them up.

In the middle of the smoking crater, Vivio slowly stands, mana wheels still alight. She eyes the group of enemies around her, lowers herself into an attack stance, and smiles.

What follows in a flurry of punches, kicks and the occasional blast of magic as Vivio uses her speed to go from one enemy to the next, striking with well aimed hits while exploiting any openings with counterstrikes that come from their attempts to strike her back.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
The medical squad was hard at work, running to and fro from cover to cover to tend to the injured ground forces. Sanary herself gets right into the fray, focusing on dragging out those unlucky enough to get injured in the first wave of attacking Saiyans. They weren't under direct attack just yet, but she keeps checking on her gunaxe every few seconds to make sure it's securely attached to her just in case.

"Come on, I got you. Stay with us." How long would this fight be compared to the others, anyway? Fighting in a warzone isn't anything new, but fighting in a warzone with Saiyans and multiple monster-sized Saiyans? That could definitely put a wrench in things quickly if the medical team was targeted.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The war is well and truly joined as the front lines clash. Glitter punches into the rear ranks by virtue of her maneuverability, and she uses her supernatural telekinetic powers to pick up an Oozaru! It looks quite confused for a moment at the unexpected tactic, and it yells as it is thrown into a second one. The pair impact and collapse painfully (and probably quite satisfyingly for Glitter). Bigger you are, the harder you fall, right? Glitter moves to begin disrupting the regular formations, knocking several over, but quickly finds a pair of red-armored Neo-Saiyans facing her, the pair not sparing any words as they dive in, one to try to grapple her while the other moves to hit her from the rear! Deelel joins in on the clustering with her own Gravity spells, pulling down another pair of Oozaru with crushing forces. Gravity damage hurts, yo, and this ain't no hyperbolic training chamber.

Krezentia plays her game of Ride the Giant Ape and proves that yes, she CAN predict actions! The impact isn't enough to stop Krezentia from dropping a double-tap into the head of the Oozaru. BLAMMO.

The results are messy. The massive ape begins falling backwards, the head smoking from the charged blast while Krezentia seems to be going down with the ape... Unless she has a way to deal with getting off of it.

Vegeta's Cooler Armored Squadron begins brawling with a regiment of Neo-Saiyans. Neiz bites several Neo-Saiyans, while Salza begins picking out a host of power signatures. It doesn't LOOK like there's any more surprises hiding down there... But while Dore might like the Controversial One At A Time Strategy, the Neo-Saiyans don't play by those rules. Those within reach of the Neo-Saiyan front of them quickly finds themselves with attention from red, green, and blue armored Saiyans as they work to lock down each one and pummel them with ki blasts. The latest one Neiz bites screams, but grabs his hands around Neiz, holding onto him with crushing force as he begins sacrificing himself to give a pair of Green Armors a clean shot at his back. Losses begin accruing in the Neo-Saiyans as they meet the battle head-on, a roar going up and ki beams flying everywhere. The ground begins to gain fallen Saiyans, bleeding and blasted as they try to give as good as they get. Each one's eyes burn with determination. They knew what they signed up for. Their future is death or slavery. And they intend to take as much as they can with them. Vegeta's speech goes unanswered except by an intensification in battle. Perhaps they're looking for honor instead of mercy today, even as Vegeta fires a blast and vaporizes the Oozaru that Glitter and Deelel knocked over.

Genghis Rex flies among the Oozaru, blasting one with his Fossilizer. It howls as it begins to turn to stone, and reaches out, trying to swat Rex with his stone arm before he becomes a massive statue. It teeters, then falls, shattering into a huge number of pieces across the rocky, rough hills.

Malphas then reaches up and sends innumerable grows to blot out the artificial moon. The flow of Blutz Waves ends, and all over the battlefield, Oozaru begin transforming back as the critical threshold needed to maintain Great Ape form ends. The flow of mountain-based artillery abruptly ends... But for how long? A trio of Red Armors fly towards the Crow Moon, striking at the covering to try to clear them from the area.

Meanwhile, the overwhelming numbers of Hell smash against the front lines. They boil over the first rank of Blue Armors, using their supernatural, demonic powers to overwhelm and conquer. They push back, Green Armors firing searing ki blasts into the groups, layering overlapping fields of fire to try to take out buildings and demons as they try to hold the line. Perhaps they will, but there's always more demons. This is not a pleasant situation.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
It's when Rhapsody throws in their second wave that the regiment commanders decide they want no more of this. Trios of Green Armors fall back and charge attacks, combining blasts to drop expanding ki waves into the advancing demon and Izzet horde while the blues struggle to keep the encroachment contained and Reds blur between incoming attackers, trying to secure aerial control and outflank priority targets, and the Blues link up their ki shields, before suddenly pushing back as one with a rolling wave to try to push them into the Green bombardment. This is when Vivio drops her Accel Smash right in the middle of the Blue formation, blasting a hole into it and breaking the line. She and the demons pour in, beginning to wreak havoc as they try to get to the squishy Nougaty Saiyan Center of their formations. In desperation, the Blues try to rally to close the gap, a group of Reds and Greens trying to corral Vivio's speedy movements and pin her down long enough for the Greens to blast her with a combined ki shot!

Meanwhile, Sanary saves lives, sneaking around and healing things. This is a useful tactic! Unfortunately, Saiyans don't have much in the way of healing. Maybe next they'll develop Senzu Bean Stimpacks or something. However, at the moment Sanary is just trying to not be noticed. Unfortunately for her, the Neo-Saiyans know that the first rule of battle is 'Kill The Healer'. Her medical team suddenly gets raked with thin blasts as an entire squad of Red Armors drop in on her and try to disrupt them, scatter them, and generally prevent them from actually healing people.

Zuki and Gaplan watch the others bail. Zuki looses another laugh. "You should have kept them, maybe it would be a FAIR FIGHT!" She screams, loosing the ki spheres in a wave towards Serori. But Serori, for all of her size, knows a lot of tricks they don't. The sudden move of Instant Transmission takes them by surprise, and Zuki gasps, throwing herself onto Gaplan's back as he crosses his arms, a crackling ki-shield manifesting before him.

The Oozaru blast fires upwards, catching both of them in the blast! As the beam dies, the ki shield seems intact....

And then there is a crackling noise, as pink energy cracks appear in the shield, and the protective barrier explodes with a wash of light and sound.

Along with Gaplan's front armor. All at once, scorching marks appear across his body, seething, burned patterns that spread rapidly, as if the damage was suddenly all taken in a moment. Gaplan roars in pain, his stoic facade cracked, finally, in the face of this terrible Oozaru threat. The unspeaking Super Saiyan drops, smashing downwards towards the Oozaru with colossal force, trailing blood in the air while Zuki peels off of his back, unharmed thanks to Gaplan. She goes low, striking to one side as she pulls her hands apart. "You think you're so smart... I have tricks too! DESTRUCTO DISK!" The spinning platter of doom manifests in her hands, as she hurls the attack, aiming for Serori's tail.

But is this /really/ a good idea?

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Radios across the battlefield crackle as a voice speaks out over the airwaves. Unencrypted, open. Kakarot's voice is heard. Calm and cultured, a quiet and reflective tone.

"It's at this point, people of Reptilon, that I can afford to be reflective. After the destruction of my Earth, I spent a great deal of time waiting to be recovered. There is something... I remember reading, from an old Earth book."

Across the battlefield, there is a thunderous roar as a massive shape takes form. Angular and golden, the massive rounded triangle is immediately identifiable. The Bardock, flagship of the Neo-Saiyan Empire, has returned.

And it is pointed downwards, like a massive dagger poised at the heart of Reptilon.

"'To the last, I grapple with thee; From Hell's heart, I stab at thee; For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee.'"

A blaze of gold radiates outwards from the rear of the ship, Kakarot's position obvious as the sky thrums with the displacement of air. The sky crackles with thunder as billowing winds whip across the battlefield, a cone of cherry-red growing on the front of the Bardock as Kakarot begins /pushing/ the massive ship directly for the top of the supervolcano, aiming directly for the center of the Lava Dome.

Vegeta (663) has posed:
Vegeta stops, as Cooler's Armored Squadron have retreated due to the overwhelming numbers, while other members of Vegeta's forces have fallen and others continue to chase and fight.

He flies into the air after his body has shifted back to normal, his power exploding, skipping all the way to Super Saiyan 2. He needs every bit of power he can get, though he has no where near -all- of his power, given the fight the other day.

"Is this how you're going to represent our people, Kakarot? Is this the example that you want to set?!" he asks after snatching a scouter from a random Neo Saiyan and slapping it to the side of his ear.

He moves to wrap his arms around the very tip of the ship, shouting in pain as his regalia burns right off of his chest. But he grips tightly around the ship anyway, and starts trying to put every ounce of his strength and power into trying to push the ship -up-. "I need everyone who can help, -everyone-! We can do this!!!"

Glitter (721) has posed:
Glitter has a forcefield. It's pretty close to her body and does an admirable job of not getting her killed on a regular basis. It's the reason for her tight outfit: it fits under it.

And, as Glitter (re)-learns right about now, a forcefield close to your skin does absolutely nothing to prevent someone from grappling you.

The Neo-Saiyan grabs her from the front and Glitter is momentarily immobilized - well, sort of. Her arms are held at her side. That does absolutely nothing to stop her from flying; she can lift herself and the Saiyan grabbing her at the same time, and she does, throwing herself upwards in a random direction so that the Saiyan attacking her from behind doesn't immediately smack her. (Of course, given he probably flies too, this is more a temporary reprieve.)

"Let go!" Glitter struggles momentarily with arm strength before just applying her powers to the problem; she applies force, as hard as she can, at the Saiyan grabbing her. The distraction is enough that the one trying to smash her does, sending her reeling and rolling through the air until she manages to straighten herself out.

Of course, somewhere in there she got a message... and a view.

"NO!" Glitter yells. "You can't squash the city! You can't crush the dome! That's - that's horrible! That's - " She doesn't even know the right word. Glitter can think of only one thing to do. Whether or not the Saiyan is still trying to hang on (if he is she'll drag him with her), Glitter begins to fly up, spreading her arms wide. She doesn't actually need to fly up; she can see it perfectly well from where she was. But it helps.

Glitter can lift a lot. When she's really pushing, she can lift a /hell/ of a lot; she's picked up a naval destroyer before, and held up a skyscraper, but this is so much bigger that she has no idea if she can actually do it. But she throws herself into it, completely heedless of any attacks that come her way, not holding any real power back except the tiny amount she needs to hold herself up safely, a cloud of glitter spreading across the nose of the ship.

She ignores the stab of pain that hits between her eyes when she does it, squeezing them shut; the sparkles intensify. Come /on/, she thinks, as she uses her lift - her /full/ lift - for the first time since she's left Freedom City. Glitter groans, starting to sink downward. She's still a big target and she's doing nothing to protect herself, so hopefully Serori's help Oozari is actually bodyguarding!

Rhapsody (325) has posed:
The trifecta of different saiyan warriors is reported back to Rhapsody. The Guildmaster, from her vantage point higher up the mountain, starts to bark orders in rapid succession, trying to coordinate both the assault tanks and the elementals to try and stop saiyan threat. When Sanary's medical group is suddenly assaulted, the medics would find a trio of tanks and a group of elementals come to their aid, putting themselves in the way of, or outright trying to run over, the armored warriors. So far, they had held out, but now Kakarot produces his ace in the hole. The massive ship Bardock, descending from the heavens like the wrath of god. "I guess the test starts now..." Rhapsody muses to herself before transmitting a yell to her brother. He responds in kind and then a flurry of activity begins deep within the volcano.

Ryxinel, the magewrights, Dinosaucers and any Tyrannos that volunteered, begin to rush around the mountain like the end of the world was coming. In a way, it was, but today, the Izzet League had prepared for the end of the world. "Push all the generators to 100 percent! Activate all lenses!" the red dragon orders. All over the outside of the Lava Dome, small glints of red and blue crystal-like lenses start to reflect the light of the day. As the power of the generators, tapping the very essence of the mountain itself, send their charges to the lenses, something flickers all around the mountain. "Engage!" Ryxinel barks, throwing what is probably an overly dramatic lever within the mountain, but hey, Izzet. They gotta be a LITTLE flashy, right?

As all the energy pours out of the mountain and into the blue and red lenses all over Lava Dome, a massive barrier, swirling with blue and red mana, envelops the entirety of the mountain. "All energy to the upper lenses! Kakarot will NOT have his way!" While the lower lenses, and the barrier around the lower parts of the mountain seems to fade, the shield at the top is a maelstrom of red and blue, electricity crackling and flames darting one way and another. "Prepare for SPIKE as needed!" Ryxinel finally yells before communicating to Rhapsody that the barrier has been engaged.

Outside, Rhapsody watches the massive barrier appear over the volcano, smirking lightly, all the while glaring daggers up at both Kakarot and the ship he would sacrifice to destroy this sacred place. The pulls her radio up to speak, "Attention allies! The Izzet League has now engaged a barrier to protect the Lava Dome and all around it." Pause. Smiiiiiirk. "BLOW THAT THING OUT OF THE SKY! ALL REMAINING FORCES, FIRE ON THAT SHIP!" And thus, every single tank around Lava Dome turns their cannons skyward and unleashes hell.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Styraco's spiney personal craft settles in a public park that is few blocks from Sanary's position. The rotund physician thunderously runs for her position, having several packs stuffed full of emergency medical supplies.

An injured Dimetrodon is being dragged to safety by one of Sanary's squad members looks up and sees Styraco coming, his eyes go WIDE with fear, "NO! NO! NO! NOT BLACKHORN! Don't let him touch me! Keep him away from me!"

Styraco skids to a halt and frowns (cause that's all he can do) at the injured defender, "Oh come now. I'm on YOUR side ... today ..."

Styraco begins dropping off bags of supplies to anyone who will take them and glances to Sanary with a shrug, "I have some really BAD PR ... it's ALL rumors though! I assure you!".

Rex's craft comes on low, over the city, and roars overhead the battling Serori , Zuki and Gaplan. THree is a flash of light and then a massive shadow rushes past Serori and Gaplan ... but where did Zuki go

Out of the sky drops a full sized T-rex, Zuki in his claws, barreling down onto the ground with a Thunderous SLAM. The force of the impact actually staggers Rex, then he glances down between his toes, darting his head to the side like a bird, taking in Zuki's form, "You again?"

The red corona of the Bardock crashing through Reptilon's atmosphere diverts the Tyrannosaur's attention as he looks up in awe. Kakarot's message seeps out over a nearby radio, "NO! HE'S .. HE'S MAD!" (provided Zuki still has fight in her, Rex has COMPLETELY forgotten her atm.)

Serori (37) has posed:
Vegeta's roar rings across the field in an unfamiliar peal. Serori can't afford to spend so much as a thought on admiring his rampage and power, but if she could, she'd have found him to be impressive.

No, her attention is fixed on Zuki and Gaplan; together, the two make a fearsome pair, and Serori must devote every shred of her combative skill to managing and countering their assault. Separating them is her best bet to succeed at killing either, she knows, and her maneuvering works toward achieving just that feat, but no matter what battlefield distraction she attempts to utilize in her strategy, the two continue to come at her as a team.

Fortunately, aid descends in the form of Genghis Rex aboard his fighter craft. Serori spots his approach; Zuki and Gaplan, however, seem to be blind to the oncoming threat. Why spoil a perfectly good surprise? To keep the two focused forward, Serori decides to issue a taunt. "Is this the best Kakarot can throw at me? Hah." The words to Kakarot's chief lieutenants sigh from her enormous maw as more a satisfied purr than a growl. The diminishing moonlight begins to take effect as her sly boasting continues. "Kakarot is a true threat to my interests. You...you're no more than two mosquitoes to be swatted. You think you can challenge me?"

The gargantuan silhouette formed by her altered figure begins to reduce and become more slender. All the fur protecting her body starts to resorb back into her skin. Becoming an oozaru is a grotesque process; turning back is almost as bad. Rippling flesh and cracking bones twist and stretch into strange, inhuman proportions. It takes a few moments for Serori to start looking anywhere near normal again, and in that time, she continues to speak. "I am no mere saiyan. I am the queen of my people. I am a force for the Confederacy. I am relentless!"

The last of her coarse black fur recedes into the familiar golden hairline worn by all who master the Super Saiyan transformation. Serori's hateful red eyes fade not to black, but to green. Power crackles around her form like a fiery halo.

Zuki's Destructo Disk snaps a few hairs from the end of Serori's shrinking yellow tail.

Serori's smirk becomes a determined glare. "I AM SERORI -- AND I HAVE GAINED TOO MUCH TO EVER LOSE TO THE LIKES OF YOU! I WILL DESTROY YOU!"

Vegeta, the Bardock, the Lava Dome, Reptilon -- it fades from her awareness. Serori fixates on Gaplan, on Zuki, and on the death she would bring to them both.

The only thought she spares Kakarot is the hope he witnesses the last moments of his dearest friends. Serori hopes he watches, and hopes he comes to feel a shred of the fear he's incited in the Multiverse.

What power she wields erupts from her body. It pours from her soul into her hands, and from her palms it emerges in a miles-long cannon dozens of feet wide. At its core, the beam is a white-hot brand. At its edges, it crackles, sears, and stuns, promising pain to anyone in its path. And it's not the only such weapon she creates. Wherever Gaplan goes, she pursues him, using Instant Transmission to cut off his retreat if she must. Wherever he turns, another beam awaits, always pushing him skyward, always smashing at his defenses. As she said, she's relentless.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Aaaand things start going to hell rather quickly. Even though the medical squad is technically armed, its first and foremost purpose is healing rather than fighting. The squad scatters to take cover from the Red Armors as expected, leaving Sanary as the only one crazy enough to charge directly at them.

"So what if you can fly and shoot shit outta your hands? This isn't enough to stop us all, you asses!" She's not talking completely out of her ass, at least. Between the armor, the gunaxe, and the buckler? She's got enough gear on to only be heavily outclassed in a direct fight rather than completely! And outnumbered. Still, that's not enough to stop her from taking the fight right to Neo Saiyans, roaring angrily with each lightning-imbued swing of the axe. If she's going to go down, at least she'll...

... Narrowly avoid getting run over by a tank. Oddly enough, that actually helps tip things in her favor. Now that there's more cover and backup to work with, the medics can try to refocus on tending to the wounded. The arrival of Styraco's forces draws a relieved sigh from the comparatively smaller human medic. "Heh. Well, we can worry about PR later. We gotta clear out these guys!" Hopefully, all this extra backup is enough for Sanary to focus on taking down those Red Armors one at a time instead of facing down a whole force of them.

Krezentia Einjager (758) has posed:
Oh, she should have seen that one coming.

Krezentia ends up under the ape as it topples over.

    It is incredibly unpleasant.
Somewhat less unpleasant than being hugged by Gaplan.
    Still unpleasant!

She is going to rest under that monkey for a while now.

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
Red Armors fly at the murder of crows, but they're not unintelligent beasts. Several find their hollow bones broken under strikes, but more still ebb away from the blows like billowing water, only to strike back out again at their attackers. It's strange how coordinated their attacks are, though: they're not just wildly clawing and pecking, but aiming very particularly for the goggles of the Red Armors. Piercing the glass might not be the best, but they know that; instead they aim for tearing away the bands or clawing them aside. All they want is to expose the eyes of those Red Armors, and all for a very specific purpose.

Because, very purposefully, the crows start billowing away from the orb in prolonged bursts, opening holes in their flock to glare the moon's light into the eyes of the Red Armors. Their goal, it seems, is to force the /start/ of a transformation, but never allow it to complete; back and forth, opening and closing, the crows act as a single unit to keep their saiyan attackers occupied with repeated failed transformations. If the saiyans try to cover their eyes, the crows claw and peck at their hands. If they attack, the crows open up again to flash moonlight into their faces. Still more falter under the saiyan's blows, but these demonic birds lack any real sense of preservation beyond what they need to shield the artificial moon's rays from everyone else.

Malphas, meanwhile, barely gives the moon a glance. It's the descending ship that he's focused on, and the moment Kakarot gives his choice quote, energy already begins to build in the darkness of Malphas. An azure glow starts to flare in his chest and around his form as he spreads his arms and wings, gathering more and more power...

The forces of Castlevania continue their assault against the Neo-Saiyans, fighting alongside the Izzet and whoever aids them on land or sky. However, the largest of the fliers find their attention focused on the ship. With bellowing roars, the cthuloid horrors and lumbering goat-demons take to the skies and hurtle toward the ship. While a little over half the size of an oozaru, the Malachi and Ctulhu breed of demons seem comparable in physical strength, and they manage to endure the searing heat of the ship careening through the atmosphere.

Their mighty claws and arms like stone crash into the ship's hull as more and more pile on. They push and /bellow/, shoving alongside the strength of everyone else to at least misdirect the ship, if not push it back. Nightmare blasts and explosive flames crash into it, too, tons of physical and supernatural force leveled in unison with all other defenders to decimate the ship.

And soon enough, the energy around Malphas gathers into a crackling radiance so massively unlike the inky shadow he appeared to be before. Energy roils over his feathers and crackles along his arms, and finally, it bursts. All that azure power rolls off onto his four wings, and with a great beat he sends it all hurling up toward the ship. Four giant orbs of raw, chaotic /power/ hurtle through the air, exploding with all their hellish might against the ship's hull in brilliant flashes of the purest blue.

At all the ruckus going on both around them and over the radios all Allo can do is look up. That... was unexpected. Kakarot was as mad as he was tactical....

But this is the sort of thing they had tried to plan for. Sure, an entire SHIP was unexpected.... but Rhapsody was already on top of it with the countermeasures they had put in place.

Hopefully it would be enough.

Allo lowered his attention back to the ground level, trusting his allies to deal with the ship for the time being. They can't do much about the ship on the ground. "Tricero, Brontothunder, we need to make sure our allies don't get iterrupted by this.. riffraff still littering the city." The other two Dinosaucers just nod in agreement.

And all three flip open their armor badges to activate their Dinovolvers. A few moments later there is one very fast, pissed off full sized Allosaur and one charging with horns bared Triceratops barreling into the ranks of Neo-Saiyans, going for anyone trying to attack the Mana Tanks or others turning their attention to the the ship plummeting towards the Lava Dome. Brontothunder is a fair amount slower in his Dinovolved form, but makes up for it by just stomping on anyone that doesn't get out of the way and trying to smash them away with his tail.

***

Meanwhile the Dinocarrier is redirecting itself from where it has been in protective orbit near the moon. There's initial hesitation to fire anywhere near the direction of Lava Dome itself on board.... But that quickly changes when Rhapsody reveals just what defensive measures her guild has put in place at Allo's behest. As soon as it's revealed that there is that extra energy shield in place over the heart of their planet, the main cannons of the spaceship are fired in manner akin to an orbital cannon, trying to blow a chunk out of that ship-turned-planet-sized-dagger! It's big enough they should be able to shoot it someplace without threatening hitting their other allies also trying to stop it!

Serori (37) has posed:
Meanwhile, Shiso keeps up an escort for Glitter. While Glitter concentrates on providing telekinetic support to the massed forces, Shiso tries to fight back against the Neo Saiyans. Unfortunately, one royal guardsman is not much of a match against so many, even as an oozaru, and he's soon overwhelmed, leaving Glitter without her most immediate ally. Several Neo Saiyans pull Shiso to the ground, and finish him with a ki blast to the chest.

Moroko and Kyuu similarly falter. As the Bardock breaches the atmosphere, and as Kakarot makes himself known, the Neo Saiyans rally. Moroko and Kyuu become swarmed. Kyuu crumples beneath a barrage his mighty endurance cannot sustain. Kyuu, transformation failing thanks to the blocked moonlight, loses the kind of combative excellence that was keeping him alive. Kyuu and Moroko go down in a series of massive explosions, calling out to each other as they fall.

Okone has got Roko hoisted from the lava pools, now. Whenever a ninety-foot-long lava leviathan gets chucked into the fray, it's a pretty notable thing; Roko, however, is going to be constrained to the background, as his form of frolicking is probably going to be really distracting to a GM who's already got his hands full. :P

Vivio Takamachi (737) has posed:
Vivio lets out a cry as the combined ki blast smashes into her. She's launched through the air, bouncing across the ground a couple of times until skidding to a stop. Still reeling from the blow, Vivio looks up with blurry sight to see a giant golden ship in the skies above them... Eyes go wide as memories from what seemed like another lifetime, but is in fact two, flash through her mind, "Not again..."

It's the talk over the radio that shakes Vivio out of her brief stupor. Rising to her feet, Barrier Jacket smoking from the hole blasted into it, Vivio looks up. She sees as other elites begin to rise up to slow the massive ship. Although Vivio can punch really hard, unfortunately she doesn't really compare in the lifting department.

However, there is one thing Vivio is good at, much like her mothers.

Iridescent magic bursts up around Vivio as she crouches, before launching up into the sky fast. Blasting her way up, she calls out, "Sacred Heart! Contact Mode!" Chris, who had until this moment been keeping out of trouble, flies up to join Vivio. He sinks into her chest, vanishing as he merges with his master.

Continuing to fly up into the sky towards the ship, Vivio doesn't appear to be headed to catch it like the others. Instead she flies past the ship, eventually slowing as she begins to reach the back. She turns around, coming to a hover as she looks down at the ship below. She brings a hand up to her chest, saying, "Full Drive. Accel Mode." Vivio can feel the power flow through her as she unlocks her Device's final mode. The gems on her hands and boots begin to glow as she swings her hand out in front of her. An orb of iridescent light flies forth, settling some distance away from Vivio and then begins to grow.

Precious seconds tick by as Vivio waits, her magic pouring forth into the growing orb. It quickly surpases the size of Vivio herself, but continues to grow. Five metres. Ten metres. Fifteen metres. The strain on Vivio's face is starting to become noticeable, but she's not going to give up! The activation of the defense barrier around the Lava Dome brings relief and Vivio grins, "Alright Chris. Let's keep this ship from hurting anyone!"

Floating on the edge of the giant orb of colourful magic, Vivio closes her hand into a fist and reaches back, "Sacred..." A large spell circle appears on the other side of the orb and Vivio finishes, "BLAZER!" She swings, fist contacting the surface of light.

The mass of gathered energy bursts forward into a giant continuous streak of light that lances towards the rear of the falling ship. Even as it reaches the vessel, the magic continues to pour forth as Vivio continues to channel it, beginning to breathe heavily under the strain. She maintains the blast for as long as she can, for as long as she needs to to keep Kakarot from crashing it and killing countless innocent people!

Deelel has posed:
Deelel sees she's manage to make quite a mess of some of the enemy this is good now they don't have to worry about them and she's quite glad that Glitter helped set up the enemy for Vegeta. She's not cold but she gets they are in a fight if any of Kakarots troops surrender she will totally accept it. For now she fight at least until Karkarot does his move. She wonders just what is going through his mind until he speaks the quote. She knows of the very book of which he speaks. He doesn't intend to surive he intends to brun everything he can as he goes down. Or so Deelel thinks.

"So this is how you wish to end things?!"

Glitter alsi sums a lot of how the program is feeling right now. Deelel can not lift that much she debates how to deal with this.

She does however issue orders to the remaining Grid turret they barrels rise up locking on to the ship and they open fire trying to do wht they can to blow off portions form the ship

"And you forgot how Captain Ahab joined the great whale in death.

She does however have a light jet and she gets the baton banishing her Keyblade for the moment.

She forms the light jet and takes off she has an idea of something she can try if she c an get aboard the vessel so she flies for it with everything she's got.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Vegeta's response is the dead-calm of the middle of winter. And empty, crystalline voice that calls out of an abyss. The voice of a man who knows exactly what he is doing and why. "The Multiverse met a King who would not bow before them. And so, for the sake of his people, so that their will can never be forgotten, he became a Monster. And what better Monster to emulate than the one who had enslaved our people, Vegeta? The monster who killed planets? The monster that you, in your heart of hearts, hate most of all?"

While Vegeta holds back, Kakarot doe not. His power level surges, burning with a flare that heralds a terrible dawn for Reptilon, a dawn of blood and destruction. Vegeta is first to move to try to stop the ship. The massive star engines of the ship are flaring full blast, with Kakarot at the back pushing down with his own massive strength in addition.

Kakarot doesn't need to conserve his power, either. How is Vegeta going to counter this? Even being near the front of the ship is hellish, as reentry begins broiling everything in the area from the friction, the air becoming impossible to breathe. Armor begins to melt off, structure crumping and melting under the effort.

Others come to try to stop it as well. Glitter breaks away from the Red Armors and lends her telekinetic abilities. Malphas sends the great flying demons of Castlevania, Cthulhu and Malachi to support as well. Deelel tries to land on the ship. How she will do that, though, in this situation is an exercise left to the reader. The descent of the massive craft begins to slow, stress fractures beginning to appear in the massive craft from the competing forces.

The front lines continue to roar as the hordes of Hell as well as the local forces battle it out. However, it becomes apparent that even with Roko coming in to smash through the lines, many of the Greens and Reds have pulled back away from the battle, leaving their allies. The rreduction in forces seriously hurts the ability of the others to hold the line, and the Neo-Saiyans pull back in the face of Roku and the Dinovolved Dinosaucers, trying to regroup. This is assisted by the former Oozaru rushing forward to join their brethren, helping to reform a new line. Their tactics continue to be the same: Blue holds the line and engages in melee and shielding while Green fires from range via artillery and direct-fire barrages, and Red moves to interdict and lock down targets. Roku doesn't seem to be the kind that cares much about tactics, though. Several Blues try to grapple onto it to ride its back and find a way to bring it down.

Sanary's medical team scatters as expected. With a roar of triumph, the Red Armor team is about to follow up when Rex's tanks blast through their formation, dropping one of them to the ground with a yell.

They immediately break and scatter, forcing Rex's troops to chase /them/ around while one of them moves in to speedily strike at Sanary. The lightning axe chews into his armor, and he reels, crying out in pain and falling back. He's no Gaplan, that's for sure! However, before Sanary can strike again and take him down, another one drops in behind her and grabs at her, picking her up to hurl her at the side of one of the Gigas Tanks at high speed!

Meanwhile, other Red Armors are in a bad way as Malphas begins taking advantage of the Moonshades to painfully lock them down, transforming them back and forth as they fall to the ground. And by ground, we mean hit the surface of the shield Rhapsody put up, since the Ki Sphere is in the air over the Lava Dome. The group scream in pain as they bounce off, some of them freezing and others lighting on fire as they collapse, skipping all the way down to fall to the ground in a horribly painful manner.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Zuki gets grabbed out of the air moments after loosing her Destructo Disk. Before she can scream about getting STRAIGHT ROBBED by Malphas' clever trick (damn crows, can never trust those things), she gets smash-grabbed by the massive Rex. Her mask goes flying and she reflexively coveres her face. But when Rex looks up at the falling ship, distracted, he might notnotice the emerald light building to his other side. The unhinged laughter. "Hey. Hey, Lizard. Guess what, I'm more mad."

When he looks back, he sees something horrific.

Fully three quarters of her face is blackened and scorched, black scarred flesh fused into flexing musculature, bone visible in some portions along the jawline and cheek ridge. Her right eye is missing, an empty hole that yet somehow burns with hatred. Her mouth, noe visible, is fixed in a rictus grin, her charred lips peeled back as her one good eye stares directly into Rex's Dinovolved eye.

And all of this is light up bright with an emerald underlight, lending it an even more ghastly hue. "NOW LET GO OF ME, YOU DAMN DIRTY LIZARD!" There is a brilliant blast as Zuki straight up tries to take Rex's head off with a massive ki shot to the face.

Gaplan is separated from Zuki thanks to Rex, giving Serori just the opening she needs to focus on the giant Saiyan. The transformation back to Saiyan form is given time by Gaplan, like he is simply politely waiting to see what she'll do. When she makes her declaration of Queendom, Gaplan hangs in the air, blown back by the transformation of Serori into Super Saiyan... And he nods to her in respect, his muscles rippling as they bulk up. He holds out a hand, one Super Saiyan to another, Kakarot's Lieutenant against the Colonel of the Confederacy. And he makes the 'come on' gesture.

Gaplan doesn't run. He takes the blast head-on, ki shields manifesting and getting blasted through as quickly as he makes them, doing his best ot reduce the amount of intense, burning destruction that is scorching through him. He barrels forward, trading the huge hit in order to propel himself forward to try to slam Serori in the gut with a colossal punch. Her tactical analysis is simple: The three Lieutenants covered each other's weaknesses. Together, they are almost unstoppable. Apart, they are exploitable. Gaplan's weakness is apparent to the former scout: He's incredibly durable, but he's slow, and he focuses on close-range ki techniques. Every time Serori gets near, Gaplan retaliates with a deadly blast of ki or another attempt to grapple or strike. But his ranged attacks are weak, and she is faster than he is, especially since she has Instant Transmission. Each blast wears him down, though, opening another tear in his flesh. Blood begins to flow freely from the duel.

Despite this, he keeps coming.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The massive barrier snaps into existence, red and blue mana swirling. Hope Rhapsody has a lot of islands and mountains handy, because this one is going to be a doozy.

Kakarot, upon seeing it, the massive amount of force brought to bear to stop his deathblow, begins to laugh. "Do you think that's going to be enough to stop me? THIS ISN'T EVEN MY FINAL FORM!" He screams, powering up to SSJ2 himself as he shoves the ship downwards with even more catastrophic force. It's clear he's intent on burning himself out if he has to in order to match what's being thrown at him.

She /does/ have islands, right?

This is when Vivio begins setting up her massive attack. The surge of power is obvious across the battlefield, and many Greens and Reds immediately turn to fire upon Vivio or strike her from behind while she is trying to charge it, to the detriment of their own allies, resulting in another collapse of the ground line, forcing them back even further. Even so, the beam begins to smash a hole through the ship, carving open a hole in the hangar bay as Capsule ships fall out...

And begin detonating with massive explosions, as energy charges go off and create huge, rippling waves of destruction in the air and upon the shield, putting stress on it already. Many Neo-Saiyans are left lying on the ground, dead in the pushes. Giving as good as they get isn't good enough, as they are grossly outnumbered.

But they all know what's important.

Similarly, those moving to stop the ship come under attack from suicidal Neo-Saiyans, trying to dislodge the demons, fire upon SSJ2 Vegeta, or beat up Glitter, or even intercept Deelel.

Rhapsody (325) has posed:
Between the three of them, Sidonia, Ryxinel, Rhapsody, and all the Izzet League? Yes. They have islands! Mountains too, however, at the moment, the Guildmaster of the Izzet isn't so focused on channeling mana as she is trying to orchestrate the League in their battle, with all their allies, against Kakarot's saiyan hoard. As the armored troopers march forward, clashing with tanks and elementals alike, it's clear that casualties are starting to mount. One of the red's is able to damage one of the tank's cannons, causing the blast to go back into the machine, sending it's innards up into the sky in a cacophony of electricity and steam. Petrahydrox batter against the defensive line of Kakarot's blues, and the Steamcore Weirds find themselves at a disadvantage against the firepower of the green warriors. All and all, the Izzet will continue to fight, the saiyans will continue to fight, all while the Bardock continues to descend from above.

Within the mountain, Ryxinel is still coordinating everything. Generators are pumping, converters are converting, and the amount of red and blue mana surging into the barrier is immense. Even the old paruns of Ravnica may have been impressed by this feat, however, as large as the Bardock is, with Kakarot shoving it down, apparently FULL OF EXPLOSIVES, it's causing just a bit of panic with the League. 'A little bit'. The pace has quickened, magewrights are channeling their -own- mana into the power lines to give the barrier a bit of extra oomph, but now even Ryxinel and his sisters are wondering if it will be enough.

That's when Rhapsody gets an idea. She's to her radio a moment later. Maybe that 'Spike' is going to be more important now than it ever was! If the ship was full of explosives, what if they could detonate everything -before- impact? "Allo! Should we do it?!"

Allo (724) has posed:
If anything, this was a sure sign of how desperate the measures were. Despite being the inventors of Dinovolving (the Tyrannos are filthy thieves) it wasn't common to see one of their members use it for actual fighting. Typically it was an intimidation tactic, or to put that increased size and strength to a useful purpose.

Seeing THREE Dinosaucers do so and practically bumrush the Neo-Sayain lines with it? That was something you might never get to see again, people! Will those shields and melee bruisers hold against triceratops rams and sauropod... well... basically just MOVING is a threat when you're that big.

Not that they're aren't getting as much as they're giving. Melee fighters slam heavy blows into their huge forms. Brontothunder is pretty much a massive target for those artillery slingers, leaving huge welts and burns in his hide as he tries to stomp down the front lines. They're not going to be able to take this beating for much longer even in their tougher dinosaur forms.

Allo manages to grab one of the attackers in his jaws and throw him back into the masses, then leap over a now collapses building to take cover as he disengaged the Dinovolution. Landing on some of the rubble he stumbled and caught himself against the rocks, a nasty gash still remaining across one leg. Those bastards hit hard.

But the wound meant nothing as he looked up at the ship still being pushed towards the proverbial heart of their planet, filled with more than enough explosives to cause a catatrosphe of levels he didn't even want to consider. Should they risk it?... What if they didn't, and the shield failed anyways?... Was it better to take the chance than not act at all...

In the end, with a heavy sigh, he muttered into the radio to reply to Rhapsody "... Do it..."

Vivio Takamachi (737) has posed:
Vivio realises she's pretty high profile, up in the sky, giant beam of light shooting out at the golden ship. This hadn't escaped her consideration. So while she has one hand occupied, focused on continuing the channel her attack, the other sweeps around in the direction of the forces below trying to shoot her down. She generates a Round Shield to protect herself.

Attention split between attack and defense, weakness begins to show in both. The large beam begins to destabilise and Vivio winces as shots from the Saiyans on the ground below bypass her defense to splash against her Barrier Jacket. She can't keep this up much longer...

... And then Vivio notices her attack opening up the ship and causing some of its contents to spill out and- Explode!? The ship! It's full of explosives! As if a giant falling ship wasn't bad enough.

Vivio can feel her power waning. It's getting harder to keep her arms in place to protect herself and continue the assault on the giant ship. She breathes heavily as she stands her air. She can't give up! She won't! Not with so many lives on the line. She just needs to keep going, just a little bit longer...

Vegeta (663) has posed:
"HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" Vegeta suddenly spikes in power, already a Super Saiyan 2. He tries to blow the other Saiyans back with his power, then releases the ship and just -flies-.

He holds both fists forward, honing in on Kakarot's power level. He's burning through absolutely everything, because he's learned by now that Kakarot is going to do the -same-.

He's not planning to fight him, they've -had- their fight. No, he's intending to slam into Kakarot like a ki-wrapped living missile, even if he has to go through the ship itself. Trying to remove Kakarot from pushing is absolutely -vital-!

"This is -not- the answer! Our people have suffered enough, including you! You have nothing to prove, everyone knows that you do not want to be subjugated, everyone knows that you're powerful, even I acknowledge your right to lead your people. You do not need to do this!" he shouts, practically -pleads-. Something has definitely changed after their last fight, as if he's felt some -bond- with this man.

Glitter (721) has posed:
Glitter has never had to push her telekinesis as hard as she is pushing it right now. Little spots dance across her vision as she concentrates; Glitter doesn't even notice them at first because she thinks they're a side effect of her sparkling powers rather than a sign of strain, but they get worse and her vision starts to darken around the edges.

Glitter groans, pushing her hand up as if it would help. Maybe it does, despite her distance from the ship, because the sparkling cloud intensifies. It doesn't diminish when Vivio's beam goes through it, but the explosions buffet at it just like the shield, and Glitter loses her mental grip for a moment. It slips.

Glitter pushes herself to the point that it's getting dangerous for her. Her head is killing her and she feels like she might fall over. But she can't give up. She can't. Even if the ship is impossibly heavy; she feels it pressing down on her mind even though it hasn't touched her body. "Don't care," she grunts out, in Kakarot's general direction. He can't hear her at this distance. "I can't - let - you!"

A Neo-Saiyan interrupts her, then another and another. Glitter is surrounded in a forcefield, so punching her does not turn her into paste. It still hurts, and worse, it's a distraction. Every time she's hit, her grip slackens for a moment. Beams in particular throw her around very well; her shield is better against physical impact than ki. She's tough, but she can't take much more of this when she's not defending herself otherwise.

"NO!"

Glitter starts to move upward. Telekinetic force explodes away from her in all directions as she stops lifting the ship for a quarter second, blowing people back, away - under her, rocks and grit kick off in all direction as if she was at the midpoint of a gigantic sphere. It won't stop the attack on her but it gives her a few seconds without them.

She gives it /everything/ for as long as she can once she's clear. Glitter pushes herself further than she knew she could push, sinking downward as she even uses the tiny bit of power that keeps her in the air. She surrounds the ship - the entire ship - in glittering light; even if it's too heavy for her to lift alone (and it is), it's not too big for her to push against. Debris that falls away from the ship gets caught by it and thrown, roughly, as far away from the city as she can make it go. They've warned her there might be more, and that's why she's spiking her power - that, and she's going to have to cover for Vegeta. Just a little more, before she gets shot out of the sky...

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
That last roiling blast of energy seemed to be the peak of what Malphas can manage. The crow demon slumps in midair, panting with warbling bird's breaths, his vague features starting to ooze like a melting wax sculpture. Even then, it doesn't seem to have been enough; the ship still descends on its course of death straight for the Lava Dome.

And now there are saiyans rushing toward the various demons, trying to strike them away from the ship. The Malachi and Ctulhu do what they can, lashing out at the saiyans while still pushing at the ship, but their efforts are limited. They simply aren't as coordinated as some other folk.

With a frustrated croak, Malphas suddenly rushes in to intercept. Feathers like arrows wreathed in azure energy lance toward the saiyans as the crow demon dives and swoops among them to keep them off the groups pushing the ship. More and more demons fly up, too, even the weaker species joining the brutes to push, push, /push/. Soon most of the forces of Castlevania present that can fly have set themselves up to cover the ship's hull, hundreds of fiends doing their best to shove against the Bardock and endure the roiling heat coming off its hull. And all the while, Malphas pushes what's left of his energy toward keeping the saiyans off them, at the very least harassing them enough that they can't distract enough of the demons to make an impact in the straining force.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
For being a mild mannered psychopath Doctor, Styraco is immensely strong and is able to heft even the biggest of the injured out of harms way. Several more Reptilonian's panic when they see him but he seems happy enough to sedate them to shut them up and drag them around like sacks of potatoes. His efficiency is so cold and calculating that it's a little mesmerizing to watch, it's as if every move, right down to the number of breaths he takes has been meticulously calculated and choreographed well in advance. This Dino is REALLY fuggin creepy.

That is until he looks up.

His eyes go wide and for the first time in his life Styraco shows absolute terror, "OH!" is all he can croak out of his throat before Sanary goes flying by him.

The beaked Ceratopsian cocks his head at the Saiyan who tossed Sanary and with one quick motion attempts to drive a syringe into the base of the Saiyan's skull. For all his size and cumbersomeness, Styraco is precise in everything he does, and if his aim is true, he'll force a lethal dose of sedative directly into the back of the Saiyan's head.

Rex, so aghast at the site of the ship roaring toward Lavadome, can only gape in horror, but a voice calls out to him and he glances down catching a glimpse of Zuki's charred features. It doesn't really register to him, yes, it looked painful but she is not a Reptilonian and the Tyranno never had much luck relating to Mammals.

A flash of green catches his eye and he flinches, thankfully just enough to get his head out of the way, but by moving, he actually puts his breast into the pathway of the blast. The green energy slams into him and rolls the 20 ton beast over, sending him skidding across the ground, digging a small trench in his wake.

His body glows and shifts back to his normal form, as he lies on the ground, gasping for air, his chest smoldering while he clutches at it reflexively. His breath has been knocked out of him, his skin burned, the sky was falling around him, but he had to move. His chest was on fire, but if he stayed there, he knew he'd die.

With a great gasp, Rex rolled to his knees, his head hung low, his predators' eyes glaring at Zuki.

"Mercy" Rex mutters. Is he really asking for mercy? This great king, who should be without mercy, now pleading for it? You'd think he'd be made of sterner stuff!

"I GAVE YOU MERCY!" He roars, tearing a 6 foot piece of rebar from the ground and heaving it at Zuki like a lance, the attack is desperate and savage and lightning quick.

"I WAS A FOOL TO LET YOU LIVE!"

Rhapsody (325) has posed:
And then the order is given. The moment Ryxinel is told to activate the 'Spike' he begins -roaring- out orders, "Set all the generators to critical! Open ALL lines and activate the primary lens at the peak!" he calls out, darting for one of the exits. "Take care of things down here! I have to aim it UP of all blasted directions! Honestly? Who DROPS A SHIP ON A VOLCANO?!

Deelel has posed:
Deelel is trying to get the ship, she's pressing hard even as others are fight hard. She's forced to bail from her craft it returning to the digital void from which it was formed. She lands hard on the Hull. She's got to try to find a way in, if she can somehow attempt to highjack it's manoeuvring systems she might be able to alter the point of impact. There's no stopping it hitting the planet. The stress to the hull is something to behold. User space constructs can be horrifying they don't cube neatly they endure much like the remains of a user. An almost active defiance to it's end. Refusing to entirely vanish upon the end.

She summons her keyblade and is using it to keep her self upon the hell even as Kakarot is fighting so many people.

She soon finds Vivo has shown the ship was not just a spur of the moment plan. The Neo Sayains had turned it into a massive bomb.

Then the Neo Syains come for her and Deelel's forced to now battle them on a flying bomb. Her plans to try to get into the ship are delayed and might be for nothing at this point as she uses the weapon to try and keep the Sayains at bay even as she shift and fight.

"I can't let you do this..."

Deelel's however facing Karkarot's top troops and they do get past her strike she's getting pretty pummeled. Cracks are forming over various parts of her body, and they are glowing too...

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Getting that axe into the Neo-Saiyan is oddly satisfying, especially considering how much pain Gaplan had put her through in their previous encounters. Stepping towards the retreating Red Armor, Sanary Points her axe at him and scowls lightly while brandishing it.

"Surrender, and I won't have to-" Cut off by the sudden feeling of weightlessness and soaring through the air, the healer cries out painfully upon slamming into and bouncing off a Gigas Tank. Even with the armor keeping her from literally splattering onto the surface of that thing, the impact itself is still quite more than enough to crack some ribs, bruise pretty much everything, and cause some internal bleeding! All in a day's work.

By the time she snaps out of that pain-induced daze, Styraco's already gone after that asshole that threw her, and the rest of the medical team is using a combination of healing magic and injected fluids to get Sanary back onto her feet. "Nngh... Th-thanks. Okay. This... Oh, this is gonna suck."

Instead of going after the Red Armor forces again, the healer takes a deep breath before barking an order over the radio to the remaining members of her squad. "Fall in, everyone! Time to do that thing we... Never. Practiced. But we talked about it that one time!" Those medics that aren't immediately occupied with evacuating the wounded give each other some hesitant looks, but eventually gather around Sanary as she's starting to channel healing energy into her arms.

"... Okay, do it!" And with that signal, the medical squad starts jabbing needles filled with restorative chemicals into Sanary while she launches an eerie wave of green light upwards towards ship itself. It's not a destructive light of any sort, though: Rather, those allied forces who would normally be affected by conventional healing magic would find their wounds starting to mend and some of their energy being restored! But who knows if it'll actually reach those closest to the ship itself? Or if it'll even be enough to give them a second wind?

Serori (37) has posed:
Pain is a weapon all its own, and every blow Gaplan lands dishes it out in spades. Serori's chestplate fractures under his knuckles as his fist plunges deep into her abdomen to pummel her kidneys and stun her diaphragm. His kicks could shatter mountains; Serori's ribs are like toothpicks to Gaplan's honed strength. He is brutal, powerful, and dedicated to the protection of his king. Serori may have speed and agility on her side, but against an opponent twice her size and three times her savagery, are these traits enough to maintain an edge? High-speed blurs keep her outside his reach as she snaps at him in frustration. "We could have been great allies! We could have been so much more than this! Look at those Neo Saiyans dying below -- nngh -- is this really what you want, Gaplan?! To take part in their needless slaughter?!"

The Colonel darts away in another flickering Instant Transmission. Appearing behind Gaplan, she leans in close enough to hiss at him. "Kakarot is a monster and a tyrant, and you deserve to follow a worthy /king/ into battle. Someone who sees value in the lives of his people! The lives of his friends!"

Why and how Kakarot's earned the blind devotion from his people is easy to see. He may be terrible, but he has vision. He has charisma, and a natural skill for leadership someone like Vegeta would kill to possess. As Serori drives her fist into the small of Gaplan's back to punch a ki blast into point-blank range, she rages at all Kakarot's wrought, not just at Gaplan before her, and not just at the fear Kakarot made her feel. Those are her people on the ground that he's killing. This, before her, is a saiyan. One of her own, and she has to stop at nothing to destroy him, because Kakarot will stop at nothing to see Reptilon suffer.

Pain. Pain can come in many forms. The physical -- the mental -- the emotional. Serori swims in pain. The feel of her elbow cracking across Gaplan's jaw hurts as much as it satisfies. The next wave of ki power to come surging from her hands almost burns as it's expelled. Her vision blurs, yet her attacks don't slow, her ruthless assault continuing on pure instinct.

"DAMN IT!" Serori reels back, trying to get some space to breathe. Breathing hurts, too. Great. "I DIDN'T WANT THIS, GAPLAN!"

There's no more time for peaceful alternatives. The Bardock bears down on Reptilon, promising doom to all below. If Serori's going to make any difference at all, now's the time to act.

She retreats upward. Firing to the heavens like a flame-wreathed bullet, she strives to reach an incredible altitude almost equal to the site of the struggle over the Bardock. At this height, the world below doesn't experience any consequences to her sudden swelling power. The ground doesn't tremble, no debris rises into the air, and while the sky starts to grow stormy in her quarter, the winds don't whip through the city streets. Serori's voice howls above the chaos. A rising scream to match the anguish in her heart, it begins low, almost mournful, but quickly escalates into something pure and hateful. The fear and anger she suffers takes the form of a pulsing aura throwing shockwaves across the sky. It manifests in her mind and swells up from her soul, coalescing into a pure force for destruction. Serori's wrath takes on an unequaled manifestation -- the kind of assault meant to rip apart planets.

And Gaplan shall suffer it in full.

"FIIIIIINAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL..." The word echoes. It shivers with might. "...FLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSH!"

Serori (37) has posed:
Serori throws her arms wide to let the instrument of her judgment descend upon Gaplan with a fatal frenzy behind it.

That's not all she does, however; after all, if Gaplan dodges the Final Flash, it could cause as much harm to Reptilon as the crashing Bardock. The moment the beam is loosed, she touches her forehead, and vanishes in another flickering teleportation. The act is hidden behind the blinding glare of her best and most desperate technique.

She appears behind Gaplan, and grabs for his tail.

If she can...she will hold him. She will plunge him into the heart of the Final Flash, and let his body act as a barrier between that power, and the planet's surface below.

At no matter what cost, she'll see this ended.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Zuki laughs as she blasts Rex away from herself, and she hangs there in the air. "Everything goes wrong for you, little lizard king. YOu're only here because I want you to see your people die before I finish you off! SHOW ME THAT FACE! SHOW ME!" She screams, drawing closer as her aura roils, ki flaring in her hands.

But then she pauses as she hears Rex. "Mercy? YOU asking for mercy? Why the hell should I do that?" She screams, landing and reaching out to grab for Rex's head. "I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU THE SAME MERCY YOU-GGGGHK!"

Her eyes go wide as Rex plunges a hunk of rebar straight through her chest. The ki dies in her hands as she looks down, her Super Saiyan transformation fading away. She staggers backwards, one hand clutching at the rebar plunged through her. "Kakarot... Was right..." She hisses, and falls to her knees. "All of you... stink... of..." She falls over, staring at the sky as her eyes go glassy. "Treachery..."

And then she slumps, exhaling her death rattle.

Every battle with Gaplan is a battle of attrition. And he is very, very good at battles of attrition. Serori screams at him, appealing to his honor, his duty, the monstrousness of Kakarot's actions.

Gaplan does not speak with words. He roars as she sends him smashing into the ground with her ki-blast, but blurs back up to try to strike Serori with a devastating rounthouse. Every attack tears more flesh, his body a patchwork of blood and sinew at this point. It seems impossible that he should be able to keep moving by now, but he still does. The elbow smashes back into his face, dislocating it. He pops it back into place with a groan of pain, and turns to swing again at Serori-

And then Gaplan's eyes widen, as he turns to see Zuki fall. Somehow, he knew what had happened.

And now, she was dead.

Gaplan trembles, his aura crackling and shuddering as something gives way. A blood vessel bursts in one eye, his sclera going pure red as he looks up into the sky. As Serori charges her devastating attack, Gaplan looks up towards her... But does not see her. Does not see the Final Flash. He does not dodge. His power continues to spike higher, roaring as he opens his mouth. As Serori cries out her attack, Gaplan screams out himself, a wordless peal of anger, rage, and the promise of blood and vengeance. Serori reaches into that and grapples his tail, forcing him close as she pushes him into the center of the charging attack.

A moment later, the Final Flash impacts him with obliterating force.

Everything goes white.

And in the aftermath, there is only a blackened, charred form, a statue of ash in the shape of Gaplan, that scream immortalized in carbon and death. And even that begins to crumble away, only a faint whisper following it on the wind. .

"Zu...... ki....."

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The Saiyan battle lines collapse completely in the face of the death of the lieutenants, their rapidly dwingling numbers, and the ongoing, overwhelming numbers led be the united Dinosaucers. The ground forces begin to take to the air, falling back and away as they surge as one in a suicidal charge for the ship. Where there were once hundreds, there are now maybe tens. Less now, when Styraco kills one of them with an overdose of sedative, as they fall over twitching and foaming before their internal organs shut down. Sanary is freed up to continue her medicking. The city might be saved... just in time to doom it.

The Saiyans attacking Vivio do not let up. She's busy focusing elsewhere and there's nothing keeping them from just hurling themselves at her. Except Malphas, of course, who seems to be a master of being in the right place at the right time. Two of Vivio's attackers end up getting shredded with razor-sharp feathers, one falling back while the other foams at the mouth, hurling themself at Malphas themselves, taking considerable pressure off of Vivio. One of the remainders, seeing this, even hurls themslves into the path of the beam in a desperate attempt to interrupt it. He vanishes into shadow and oblivion with a scream.

Glitter bursts free of the Neo-Saiyans once again and focuses her powers, the massive ship cracking and cracking as it begins to slow even more. Her efforts buy precious moments for evacuation proceedings to continue, even as the forces of Hell move the brunt of their forces to try to stop the descending, comet-like craft. Deelel struggles against those battling against her, her weapon shredding through them and causing grievous wounds, but they fight like demons themselves, more willing to die than be captured.

Vegeta confronts Kakarot directly, only to find that as he slams into Kakarot...

He's already burning witn incandescent, annihilating fury. Has he been charging /this entire time/?

"This has to be done." Kakarot replies. "Your hunger. Your queen's treachery. The naive judgement of the Union. The weakness of my brother from another universe. The endless, uncaring hordes. The iron fist in the velvet glove of your Field Marshal. Perhaps if you had begun at this point, with respect and acceptance, it could have been stopped."

And then he holds his hands out, pointing them at Vegeta as his colossal ki collection sears the eyes. "But now there is only one path left. The Multiverse will reap the rewards of its hypocrisy."

And then he suddenly turns away from Vegeta. "KAIO-KAN TIMES TWENTY! KAME.... HAME.... HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

It is at this point that the golden light turns scarlet, a crimson star of judgement that shines down through the blackness of the forces of Hell as the massive beam fires towards the back of the Bardock. It slams into the ship and spreads out, propelling it forward with insane force even as it consumes the ship, trailing star-like detonations in the air as it rapidly begins to detonate...

And the moment the shield drops, converting the energy into its ace in the hold, Kakarot pushes harder, slamming the ship down towards the Lava Dome in that instant.

Serori (37) has posed:
The Final Flash reduces Gaplan to dust.

Serori, who'd hidden behind his deteriorating form for the entirety of the blast's duration, doesn't fare much better.

Though a secondary target only, she's still beaten into the center of a smoking crater. The armor Gaplan had cracked is peeled away to small blackened fragments fused to the scorched and bloodied remains of her skin and muscle tissue. The left half of her body has had all fur and hair burned away to raw, red skin, where she has a body left to be burned, anyway -- her arm, from nearly the elbow down, is gone. Vaporized maybe, or just ruptured off by the forces her Final Flash generated, whatever happened to it hasn't made for any clean injury.

Serori isn't conscious enough to witness the Bardock's last awful descent.

Rhapsody (325) has posed:
All Systems Indicate: All Systems Go.

When Ryxinel reaches the peak, he'd find that Rhapsody was there already, trying to move the massive lens that had been installed there into position. "Wh-, nevermind, lets move this thing!" he calls before the pair begin to angle the massive lens toward the Bardock. Two becomes three a short moment later when Sidonia silently arrives, puts her hands to the lens, and begins to adjust it with her siblings.

Inside the mountain, the magewrights and their allies were given clear instruction. Pump as much power into the generators as possible and prepare to re-route everything into the primary lens when the order is given. The magewrights, at this point, are running, sprinting from one spot to the next. Every memory is recalled, every land is tapped, ever trinket is broken and all the power of an entire guild is being summoned up for one, single moment.

Atop the volcano, with one last shove from each of them, the lens locks into place, pointed straight up toward the Bardock, now moving down with the power of Kakarot, Kaio-Kan, and the Kamehameha, all sending it rushing down at a pace that would mean the doom of everyone around should the allies of Reptilon fail in these next few moments. "That's it!" Ryxinel calls. The trio -sprint- into the mountain as Rhapsody brings up her radio, waiting for the right moment. Everything had to be in place. "Disengage the barrier!" Ryxinel calls out next. All around, the barrier begins to drop and the device at the summit begins to glimmer. Cables are pulled and moved. Magewrights pour every last ounce of strength into this last-ditch effort to stop the Bardock from crashing into the Lava Dome.

        "FIRE!"

Maybe Kakarot could feel it. Maybe the other saiyans could feel it. Rhapsody wasn't sure how their senses worked, but she knew they could sense power. In the moment after her order is given, generators in the depths begin to vibrate, some explode. Cables start to over heat, other lenses on the mountain actually start to crackle with the amount of energy that is moving through the system. At the peak, a single lens, now glowing, and pulsing between red and blue, receives all the power that the League, their allies, and the heart of Reptilon has to over. A titanic blast of energy races up to attempt to counter the massive blast that Kakarot has sent forth. The beam screams through the atmosphere, blue and red hues warring against one another as it soars into the heavens. The barrier around the rest of the mountain winks out, the blast collides with the Bardock, and all the League and their leaders can do is look up, watch, and hope, that this works.

Vivio Takamachi (737) has posed:
Even with the boosting effects of Sanary's light... Even with Malphas and his minions joining in to draw of her attackers... Vivio can feel her strength fading as she is forced to defend herself while maintaining her attack.

Finally, Vivio's beam tapers off, eventually fading all together. Vivio just floats in the air for a moment, before beginning to fall out of the sky.

As the air whips around her, Vivio has trouble keeping her eyes open. Through her fading sight, she can see Kakarot launch his attack against his own ship, propelling it forward at greater speeds.

Vivio tried with all her strength, but it still wasn't enough... It's just like that time... The strain of the fight finally takes its toll as Vivio slips into unconsciousness.

Vegeta (663) has posed:
"But it's still not too la--" Vegeta's eyes widen. "Oh goddamnit..."

"GALICK GUN!!!" He barely has any time to charge, he's not even going to -try- to beam clash that, but there is -something- he can do. He can throw all of his energy into this attack and try his best to lesson as much damage as he can.

He has no idea what this will do, or how deadly this will be, but as Kakarot's beam effortlessly pushes his own beam down, Vegeta just keeps pouring it all out into that purple blaze of light.

As he's about to get slammed directly into the ship, he doesn't have much of a choice. He twists his beam slightly, using the energy to knock himself out of the trajectory of the kamehameha.

Floating above the chaos, he breathes heavily, his hair shifting to black in order to conserve energy. "This is completely unnecessary..."

Glitter (721) has posed:
/Shit/, Glitter thinks, an uncharacteristic word for her. Well, she didn't say it, so nobody will care.

Glitter is revitalized by Sanary... briefly. It's all she can do to keep struggling to push, but it's enough to give her another surge of energy. Unfortunately, someone else also has a surge of energy: Kakarot.

"At least," Glitter gets out, with effort, "at least I'm not doing what you are." Glitter drops to the ground, trailing sparkles as she lands - it's not a very good landing, she's breathing hard and if any of the suicidal Neo-Saiyans get to her she's going to be in real trouble.

But Sanary gives her enough energy to do one last thing. Glitter doesn't try to stop the ship dead - she can't. She's not strong enough, it's just too heavy. But when the fire comes, Glitter shifts her angle. She stops trying to hold it up by main strength.

She gives everything she has in one surge, pushing not directly up but away and out. If the ship shatters, if debris is knocked free or junk breaks off or explosives fall out, Glitter tries to guide it (or throw it) away from the Lava Dome, adding a decided sideways slant. She won't let it fall on the city either - she wants it away.

Glitter sparkles like a small sun. Just... a bit more, even if it hurts, she tells herself - and it hurts, and more than hurts, it's agony just to push like this. Just keep trying. Don't give up. Never, ever give up. She's about to pass out too; there's no way she can keep going for much longer.

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
The crow demon's abilities are expended. Malphas does his best, but his energies are rapidly being depleted, especially with that earlier huge attack. The moment those saiyans rush at him, he falls on them with raking talons and lashing wings to cleave into flesh and tear out their organs, but that's about all he can manage. Once they're dealt with, he's still left broken and battered, reduced to two wings and drooping in midair. The demons continue to push and push and push, but what more can they do, especially when Kakarot continues boosting the ship further forward? Their nigh-suicidal determination keeps them straining whatever strength they have left to aid in Glitter's push and the blast from Rhapsody's shield; even if they die here, at least Death can return them to life once they settle into Hell again.

Malphas, however, has another task ahead of him. He sees Serori tumble down through the sky and directs what else remains of his strength to dive down after her. Not much care is given to her awful injuries: his talons clutch at her shoulders, and without a word he lifts up into the air to bring her high above the chaos. If the dome blows and everyone has to retreat, at least she won't be lying unconscious in a crater.

Sadly, Malphas himself has no more strength to do anything but watch and loom high above.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
As the last of the restorative energy flows out of Sanary and dissipates in the atmosphere, there's little else the medical squad that came with her can do but resume the evacuation of the wounded. They've already expended their restoratives on keeping that flow of healing going for as long as possible, but that only works for so long until she's just completely drained and out of it.

Plus, there's the imminent risk of the Bardock literally blowing up everything around them. Just because the girl leading them for this mission is unconscious doesn't mean they can't find their own glory, though! Two of the beefier members of the squad haul her up by the arms and legs to start hoofing it out of the projected blast radius while the rest spread out to rouse as many people as they can or to simply drag them into the bunkers themselves.

Allo (724) has posed:
As the remaining forces break away and start retreating the other Dinosaucers also disengage their dino-forms, and more or less slump on the spot with exhaustion, battered and bruised. Though it would probably be a lot worse if it wasn't for the healing waves of energy that Sanary had been throwing out.

Brontothunder cranes his neck to look in the direction of Allo, who is just standing and staring towards the Lava Dome as the ship is continued to be pushed down, even as it's battered and blasted by everything everyone else can throw at it. Even as Rhapsody engages her final gambit and the massive torrent of energy rises from the top of the super-volcano to meet its incoming doom. "Allo, please tell me you have some sort of plan..."

Allo just lowered his head for the moment. "Not one I like... but it is one we planned for." There's a slow clenching of claws at his sides. "Kakarot will not get the extinction he wants, even if we... have to lose the planet."

... No. There would be time for pity and for regretting actions later. He wasn't going to let the doubts and fears stop him this time.

"Get back to the carrier. It's going to take every able set of claws we have to execute the evacuation plans we have." Thanks to Sky Lynx's efforts they at least had plenty of spaceships to use.

Slowly Allo unclenches his claws as he looks up. "Even if this does work, he'll keep fighting. So either way, we're getting the rest of our people, innocent lives, off of Reptilon. They need to be out of danger." Expression knitted into a scowl as he turned to follow his teammates away from the potential ground zero.

"So we don't have to hold back any longer."

Meanwhile, bunkers are being sealed with those inside for safety. The Reptilonians have had their share of disasters and wars, they've prepared for this sort of thing, even if they hoped they never had to resort to them.

Somewhere in the depths of Lava Dome, when a remote activation is triggered, one final gambit set by Dimentro and the Izzets activates itself. But instead of outward, this smaller shielding was aimed in. It wouldn't stop an eruption, but it would at least slow it down, preventing all the deadly ash and hazardous gases from being explosively ejected into the air, at least for a limited amount of time. A slowed eruption would at least not violently rip the planet apart in one go, even if it was only delaying an inevitable.

It would at least by her people enough time to get off a potentially dying planet....

Deelel has posed:
Deelel is not trying to finish them off to sot speakl but they keep coming and he's starting to be overwhemed, she's unable to hear Kakrots word s she's locked in her fight. She can feel pain, it's different form a human but she's just about at her limit from the beating she's taking. THey just keep coming and she's got no chance to recover now. OR does she she gets ther emight not be much she can do at this point she's done about all she can at this point on the ship. She's at last tied up some of the others.

She looks back once, but then runs at full tilt from the shio leaping from the hull and going into a freeball from the ship and she's now in freefall from it. There's not much more she can do she's not a coward it's just she does not have the direct firepower and her plan is just fubared at this point. AS she falls a pack forms on her back four wings deploy out start glowing and are slowing her fall. She can do more good trying to help on the ground.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
The massive bunkers, tons upon tons of metal and concrete begin slowly lowering into the safety of Reptilon's earth. Military vehicles speed away from the city. Rex stands solemnly, absently clutching at his chest, as everyone rushes by, he glances down at Zuki's dead body, shaking, "I gave you mercy ..."

Her dead soulless eyes stare back at him mockingly, half of her face contorted into a sadistic grin. Voices began spiraling through his mind, as he stared into that dead face. They al doubted him ... His sister wanting him dead, Baromous questioning his killer instinct, The Dinosorcer and Dinosorceress questioning his ability to lead. Kakarot and Cell belittling him. Allo second guessing him. Teryx rejecting him. Tophs call of "Dunderhead" echoing through his mind.

"What have I done?" He whimpered to Zuki's corpse, "I've killed us all ..."

"Probably ..." a voice that wasn't Zuki's said from behind him. He turned to see Styraco hovering behind him in his ship, "... but if it's all the same to you, let's die tomorrow."

With one last glance at Zuki's face, Rex hurried aboard Styraco's ship and they were off.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The Bardock disintegrates, exploding as it ends up in the middle of two huge beams. Kakarot's deadly crimson beam shears straight through it, punching into the SPIKE protocol deployed by Rhapsody.

for a moment, they stop... And then, like sliding down a pole, the Bardock passes over the point where they meet, blossoming into a massive, blinding, soundless blastwave.

Through the middle of the white, crimson punches down, through the surface of the Lava Dome, methodically annihilating countless tons of magma and machinery.

It keeps going.

Through the mantle, through the core of Repttilon, the blast punches down, shearing through the planet like the finger of God.

Devastation reigns in the aftermath. Pieces of the Bardock, slagged almost beyond recognition, are partially fused into the remains of the supervolcano, like a terrible molten flower of death.

The skies crackle and shudder with lightning, the entire planet shuddering. Tectonics shift, irreversable damage having been wrought to the nature of the planet itself.

The Izzet machinations activate, trying to fill the gaps and hold the planet together.

They are not succeeding enough. Terrifying noises fill the air. This is the sound of a dying planet.

Some might have considered it kinder to simply let it vanish in a single blast instead of this horrible death knell.

There are no parting words, the light of the Super Saiyan gone from Kakarot, leaving a ragged man. He stares with reddened eyes in the ash and sulfur, and looks away.

What few Neo-Saiyans remain take to the air behind him, and together they ascend into the churning, thunderous black clouds that have gathered over the Lava Dome, vanishing.

Rhapsody (325) has posed:
Tanks retreat through warp gates, elementals depart where they can, and the Izzet Trio step through a warp gate moments before the massive blast from Kakarot negates what they had worked so hard to achieve. A remote is activated, a last desperate effort tries to save a world but, with the readings Ryxinel was getting? Well, the red dragon's sigh tells all. The worst was more then they were able to plan for.

Vegeta (663) has posed:
Vegeta watches helplessly, staring at Kakarot as he powers down, then stares back down into the planet itself. He doesn't move, he simply -stares-.

Glitter (721) has posed:
Glitter did say she'd catch up and hold it off as long as she could.

She was not kidding. Glitter keeps straining to slow things down, hold them back; she can't stop it. She /knows/ she can't stop it, and the sense of failure is what keeps her going; she would never be able to look herself in a mirror if she didn't do literally everything she could do before that point.

About a quarter second before the Bardock disintegrates, Glitter's grip on the gigantic ship falters and fails. Her brain feels like someone grated it with steel wool, but with a hiss she keeps forcing her powers to stay active, wrapping herself in layer after layer after layer of shielding and throwing herself into the sky -

Impact.

Glitter does not slow down. If anything, the horrible shockwave beneath her pushes her even further and faster away from ground zero; she is concious but only barely so, thrown upwards into the sky by the succession of devastation behind and below her.

She squeezes her eyes shut. Everything hurts, she's battered and bruised and agonized just from /trying/ to move things, and she'll claim it's the speed, but it's not; with her shields wrapped around her, she doesn't even feel like she's moving. She just can't bear to look back at it.

She couldn't do it. It is, for the first time since she grew into her powers, that Glitter has felt really helpless.
