Tinyplot: A Wish for the Future

Serori (37) has posed:
Reptilon is dying.

Without the Lava Dome to keep its forces in check, Reptilon's massive supervolcano threatens to crack the planet in half. Already, violent earthquakes and ashen plumes have begun to create arrhythmic obstacles to the ongoing evacuation efforts. Broad fissures have opened across parts of the world to swallow chunks of civilization into their superheated maws. Magma pools have blistered up onto the surface like leprous boils. The air, once sweet and clean, now carries with it the lung-searing stench of impending volcanic doom. There is no relief from the constant dry heat, not even by night. The only thing more oppressive is the fear afflicting every Reptilonian still stuck on their homeworld.

Great strides have been made toward evacuating the world, but with the planet's own infrastructure pushed to its limits, and with superfactional resources still in the process of arriving and becoming integrated into the evacuation plan, there is no hope for the population's total survival. Time works against the Reptilonians.

So do their enemies.

What Neo Saiyans are still alive and healthy enough to keep up the fight have continued a campaign of destruction and harassment. Evacuation ships have gone down in suicidal blasts, and resource lines have been ambushed and shattered. Though Kakarot himself hasn't been seen since he crashed the Bardock into the Lava Dome, his people remain hard at work, carrying out his will. The death toll rises by the hour. The wounded are countless.

Elite defenders from the Union, Confederacy, and from Reptilon's own militia do what they can to repel the threat. Castlevania's demonic hordes roam the streets around Lava Dome, responding with malice to any alarm. Autobots support and protect the evacuation attempts. Garlean soldiers still on the ground ensure the safety of the medical teams closest to Lava Dome, but also dispatch a few brave souls to provide aid to suburbs and villages far away from the devastated zones. There are even Pokemon and other like intelligent creatures deployed to areas of need. The combined superfactional efforts would be very effective in a typical planetary evacuation; unfortunately, it's not as worthwhile against relentless opponents like the Neo Saiyans, who lack for remorse, compassion, and fear. For every success, there is loss, and for every minute that goes by, the planet gives another death rattle.

The time has come for a concerted counteroffensive. Too many lives are at stake to permit the Neo Saiyans to operate unchecked. The evacuation must succeed, and Kakarot must be stopped. Today, would-be heroes have come to protect Reptilon's children.

A rendezvous point is established outside Lava Dome's destroyed region, where flickering magic works to slow the supervolcano's impending detonation.

Rhapsody (325) has posed:
Since the day the Bardock slammed into the Lava Dome, the Izzet League has remained on Reptilon to do what it could to save the people of the planet. When the evacuations began, the rest of Ravnica had noticed that the Izzet Sector had become, seemingly, a ghost town. Forges went cold, chimeny's went empty, but the utilities for the great City of Guilds stayed active. Where had so many magewrights gone? Well, they took every kind of vehicle they could find to Reptilon. Zepplid's came carrying anything that could transport people away from the planet. Trains that did not need to run along rails went from city to city to steal away citizens from the Neo-Saiyan's wrath. Even specialized sub-aquatic vehicles had dived into the oceans to make sure not a single inch of the entire planet was missed.

With the entirety of the League assisting with evacuation, the three inheritors had gone to meet everyone at the Lava Dome to do what needed to be done. Rhapsody's trench coat was set over a shimmering mizzium breastplate, while Ryxinel was coated in assorted gadgetry, electricity arcing occasionally. Sidonia, while occasionally visible, usually is among the shadows, ready to lash out at the merest sign of treachery among the ranks. Everyone seems ready. It's the waiting that is the worst part.

Cory (768) has posed:
Perhaps one or two transports made it that otherwise wouldn't have due to the efforts of Chikorri within the last hours. With Neo Saiyans still harassing the evacuation efforts and things growing ever more desperate she took to the field, swapping out from search and rescue.

Naturally when she reaches the rendezvous point she's a bit winded and ragged. Her blue Battle Suit's torn in places, showing scraped and seared skin.

"I'm starting to see why my race is hated so much. One person's role model is another's monster, huh..." Kakarot, of course, being a fairly decent role model when she last talked to him.

The only Union Saiyan warrior present arrives above the rendezvous via flight, only to swiftly descend and land with her arms folded under her chest and tail wrapped around her waist. "Lovely weather we're having." Her greeting just DRIPS with sarcasm. "Cloudy with a strong chance of LAVA."

Gohan (334) has posed:
When Gohan arrives, it's with the fury of a Super Saiyan. His golden hair is spiked up, his green eyes staring out across the dying landscape. The land... was dying, and Kakarot had caused it all. Even if he wasn't particularly close to the Reptilons, the sight is enough to cause something to stir within Gohan, a rage long untapped. Power. So much power in that rage, but he keeps it suppressed. He feared that sort of power, even now. He dons a simple shield on his left arm, and unsheathes his blade with his right. Staring out, he waits. The Neo Saiyans weren't his primary concern, not today.

Today, he goes for the big dog. He had caused Taylita enormous pain and Serori a ton of stress. But beyond that, this was personal for Gohan. Even if Kakarot wasn't HIS dad, they were still tied by the binds of fate. No matter what universe he came from, he was Kakarot. He was Goku. And if he had strayed, it was Gohan's job as his son to see it to the end. One way or another, he would put an end to Kakarot.

    Or he'd die trying.

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute is here. And annoyed. It's not just the fact that the Reptillions are dieing. It's not just the fact that the planet is being destroyed. He was already angry and annoyed at that. No. The reason he is annoyed today is a bit more personal.

Having to help deal with the Neo-Saiyans today is interrupting his beach vacation.

Granted, this is a minor slight. But, he figures every bit of anger he can aim towards the Neo-Saiyans needs to be put forth today. For now, he'll just keep waiting around til the operation begins. Sitting on Giratina, casually looking around as everyone gathers. No Mr. Crabs today. Hell, not even Imima is here, and he has been keeping her with him at all tiems in case of Fleet Daughters.

He's actually only brought a team of four Pokemon today. Giratina, Registeel, Raichu, and Gardevoir. A minimal team, but for a good reason. If shit really hits the fan, he doesn't want to risk all of his Pokemon friends. Giratina and Registeel are his hardest hitters, so he can't leave them behind. Raichu is needed for efforts to try and non-lethally target Neo-Saiyans, so that on the off chance he can save a few of their lives, too, he might be able too. And Gardevoir iis for emergency teleport, just in case.

Glitter (721) has posed:
After being treated for her injuries, Glitter has done everything she could to help with the evacuation and the transport, picking up and moving things and people - the contents of entire bunkers if she has to. She ignores the dull fatigue that sets in after she's pushed her telekinesis for too long because she can recover from it later. It's exhausting work, but work that must be done. She helped with organization, too, pointing some Union members in the right direction; she doesn't outrank anyone, of course, but she doesn't need to, only to get their attention and make sure they know what needs to be done.

Glitter couldn't stop this planet from being cracked. The least she can do is help as many people as possible before they can't do any more. She probably slept because if she didn't she'd be passed out, but if so it wasn't for very long and wasn't very refreshing.

Glitter does not really like war. She doesn't seek it out; she doesn't especially enjoy fighting with someone who is going to try to kill her and she doesn't like to try to kill anyone else. But combat is inevitable against forces like this, and when she's pressed, she's up to the challenge. She can't fight an army, but she's done her part to escort and defend.

She wants to keep doing that, and has come to the rendezvous point to do so. Glitter's personal forcefield is more obvious in environments like this; she is sparkling as she descends, the shield visible as occasional points of light around her. This environment is not healthy, but she can take it as long as there's air to breathe.

Vegeta (663) has posed:
Vegeta has been fighting for an incredibly long time. His hair is black, he's not shining and golden or firing spectacular beams. He's been fighting Neo Saiyans in incredibly uneven battles. It's clear how low he is on energy, since he's largely stuck to flight and hand to hand combat, and he hasn't transformed since the end of the last fight, nor has he had much rest.

He's has to kill his own people to protect the innocent, with his bare hands. It's the only way to stop them from sabotaging this evacuation, and still, people fall on both sides...

He finally makes it to the rendezvous point, landing, stumbling, then falling to one knee as he breathes heavily. "Damnit..."

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Trying to keep the civilians and wounded orderly hasn't been the easiest of tasks. Between evacuation ships getting blasted back to the ground and the ground beneath them literally melting, the medical forces on the ground have certainly had their work cut out for them.

The eyepatched healer has been hard at work tending to the wounded and retrieving whatever still-living civilians she could find outside of those bunkers. She still makes sure to show up at the designated meeting point, of course, although it's pretty clear she hasn't slept much in the past few days.

Sleeping in full armor without showering once is hard. Especially when your bed keeps melting from under you. Not that she'll let a little fatigure stop her! Or flaming death. Or suicidal flying assholes.

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
A pillar of radiant light marks the arrival of the Lord of Darkness, crashing down at the rendevous point just outside Lava Dome and carrying with it a shrieking flock of bats that gradually coalesces into the towering form of Lord Dracula. The strange, inappropriate light is quick to fade away, narrowing into a thin ray before vanishing and leaving Dracula himself to stand where it once shone. The vampire lord narrows his dragon's glare as he sweeps it over the war-torn city, where the assorted forces of the Union and Confederacy battle alongside his own army of Hell. A strange sight for the Lord of Darkness, but one that nonetheless brings a sly smirk to his features.

His hand abruptly swings out to catch a wickedly-curved silver scythe that swings through the air, its gleaming blade shaped like a long bat's wing. Out of that scythe flow streams of darkness that wind and slither into a shrouded figure, his foreboding presence weighing heavy over the air and providing no comfort to the disastrous situation. Death's pale leer is cast aside to Dracula, and his skeletal hand slips out of his cloak to echo the request he rasps out. "I believe that is mine, Lord Dracula."

Dracula just turns his smirk aside to Death. "My apologies, old friend. I just thought I'd offer you a less rough landing for once." The weapon is handed over, though, and Death roughly snatches it away before allowing it to simply float behind him. Dracula clearly couldn't care less; he turns his attention right back to the city, and with a quick thrust of his hands backward, his cloak billows behind him before warping into a pair of leathery, spiked dragon's wings. "Come now. Let's make sure these ships can get out safely. Do you think you can focus on saving some lives for once?"

Dracula's wings take him to the air toward the Neo-Saiyans, and Death follows wordlessly, looming behind him like an ever-present shadow.

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
Last minute operations were attempted and it be impossible to tell if they would do any good or not. Yet with so much scrambling and so much work on the line, how could the Legatus continue to sit back when asking of so much. He was never a man to not take action nor would he start to be such a man to do nothing. The Dravanians have gone into silence, Aries Polus was still unconscious, and there was nothing he could do right now for how own Empire-- so it was time to prove once more that when he asks of things, he himself does not fear in stepping in as well.

Gaius would have to also put faith in those he contacted with space means to scramble as they could, as he had no way to have eyes on that situation. Another failing of the Garlean Empire once coming to the Multiverse-- Space Travel. For while they understood of its science, they had yet to actually master it. This means the Black Wolf's arrival is worked out with his own men already here thanks to his Centurion's efforts; Yari Takane.

Once he arrives his men are quick to debrief him and he swings himself up onto an available Reaper. The Walker machine moves quickly over the rough terrain to head for the rendezvous point. The only concern brought to his attention by his own, which even the Reaper was starting to show signs of was the heat level of the area. Ceruleum was a volatile substance and while the Suits and Armors had means of keeping the Ceruleum super cooled, they were being tested harshly under these conditions.

The reason Gaius ditches the Reaper to some of his others, before huffing it the rest of the way in a brisk jog. It be hard to say what he could do under these conditions, but he was willing to do whatever he could.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Rex hides in ambush, near a large transport. He and his group wait, they know Kakarot will come eventually and what better place for him to strike than the largest transport around Lavadome.

As defenders lash out against the Saiyan suicide squads, Rex clenches his fist. Patience was never his best quality, but wait he will.

Rebound (750) has posed:
You know, despite the fact that she has been questioning herself day in and day out since her arrival in the Multiverse, Rebound is still here. She can't just let these people suffer. She'd hope that when things eventually go down in her world, she could get this kind of response force.

She doesn't know how much help she can be on a dying planet, but she's going to have to at least try. The rendevous point has been established, and she arrives at it dressed in quite different gear than she usually wears. Protecting herself from the now hostile environment is key, and she has some kind of mask pulled up over her muzzle to help prevent the dirty air from getting into her lungs.

Stuck on the ground she can't get up and help the transports, so she'll have to deal with things at the ground level. Trying to evade the lava pools and other dangerous things as she makes it to the meeting point.

Allo (724) has posed:
Fortunately Allo is a lot better at being patient.

Even in Reptilon's dying hours, in the dire times for their people, there have been a few odd looks at Genghis Rex and Allo being together, side by side, as if there was not two factions in the first place. But this was something that ignored those lines entirely. It has been since the start.

To paraphrase what he said when Cell asked 'You lost. What next?'

"The war for Reptilon is lost. But there's still a war for the survival of our people to be faught.".

Though it's clear he realizes the edginess in his counterpart, as Allo reachs over to put his claws briefly on Rex's shoulder. "Don't worry, he'll come. This is the last obstacle to his ultimate victory. Then one way or another, we will put an end to this."

"Together."

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Kakarot... wasn't even here, was he? His power signature is nowhere to be felt, though those who know better know that he (and the rest of the Neo-Saiyans left here) is capable of hiding his power levels. Just like his father could.

The massive supervolcano of the Lava Dome is a horrible sight, ash and lava belching into the air and massive hunks of what used to be the Bardock, main interstellar war cruiser of the Neo-Saiyan Empire, shattered and melted into the sides like some kind of ersatz flower of destruction.

Within the choking caldera, a man sits on a plate of as yet unmelted rock while plumes of lava roar around him. It is not when the transports organize that he stirs.

It is the arrival of a certain man. Empty eyes open, eyes that have looked into the abyss for many days, and found it looking back. They have come to terms.

There is only one thing left to do. A flame ignites in those eyes, and one more time, a golden star rises up out of the volcano. Kakarot, arms crossed, his clothing ragged, his armor gone, his body a mass of scars and half-healed wounds, bloody, beaten and hammered over the many days of constant fighting, constantly pushing himself to the edge and over it without much to replenish his strength.

"So. You've arrived." Kakarot states, his words clearly heard but meant for only one person. "I was wondering how long it would take. I have cast down every other Saiyan to face me. It was only a matter of time. Are you a coward, Gohan? How many need to die for you to protect them?"

He chuckles. "It doesn't matter, I guess. After all. This planet is just full of treacherous lizards. We're all better off without them."

It's almost like he's /trying/ to taunt Rex and Allo.

Serori (37) has posed:
There isn't much time to relax. Kakarot's people allow no mercy in this battle, and that includes the mercy of rest.

An evacuation convoy prepares to depart to the NORTH. Ground forces see to the safe lift-off of the overburdened craft, but the moment the ships crest the city skyline, ki blasts come raining down from above. The ships maintain good speed and maneuverability, and several escape harm, but two craft are dealt serious blows, and more will follow if the Green-armored attackers aren't stopped.

A suburb to the EAST starts to shake as another earthquake rips through the region. What begins as a gentle rumble swiftly escalates into an earth-cracking roar. Several jagged chasms open through the suburb, threatening to cancel the area's ongoing evacuation attempts. An alarm goes out for help -- there are still people here to be saved!

To the SOUTHWEST, a heavily-guarded transport line comes under concerted attack. In addition to ferrying precious cultural relics, the line also carries in a population of would-be evacuees from the outlying sectors. Blue-armored Neo Saiyans sweep in to initiate the assault, followed by swift-moving Red-armored saiyans who harry the line's entire length. Getting the defenders responding in two directions leaves them open from a third: Green-armored Neo Saiyans heartlessly go right for the throat, letting loose a devastating series of explosive attacks against the transports. That cluster of Neo-Saiyans is organized, focused, and could require some serious muscle to disperse or destroy.

To the FAR EAST, a Moon Ball ignites into existence. Though the ashen sky limits how far its light can shine, its arrival triggers alarms from several personnel in the region. The Moon Ball's appearance could be a precursor to something bad!

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Rex turns to look at Allo. Somehow he knew this is how they'd go out. For all their differences, they were never really enemies, morso rivals. It made sense for them to go out this way. He wouldn't have it any other way.

Rex nodded, "Together ..."

Kakarot's speech garners his attention. he looks to the floating man, "Huh ... he's after the son of Goku ... why does that not surprise me? I don't know the boy well, but he's a confederate. Let's hope he stays that way"

"Are you ready, Allo? Vegeta?" Rex turns his head to the two.

Gohan (334) has posed:
Gohan turns his attention to Kakarot, seemingly taken aback by the Saiyan's haggard appearance. He meets Kakarot's eyes, the bright fire of Gohan's gaze staring into the empty eyes of his alternate universe father. He knew this meeting had to happen, and he was prepared. It had to be this way. Vegeta would not take this from him. No one would. It was his moment.

    This was a family matter.

Gohan smirks, holding his armaments tightly. "Coward? Maybe I have been dreading this for some time. But I... There's one thing I have to ask before this happens." He clenches his fist around his sword, then points it at Kakarot.

"Why? Why are your eyes dead? You look like you've made a decision. If you have... then tell me. We have to settle this. Vegeta was right on one note. We are family, even if you're not MY father, even if I'm not YOUR son. WE need to settle this! So talk. And then... I will do what needs to be done."

Raditz (486) has posed:
    "THAT'S ENOUGH, KAKAROT!"

The estranged brother of the Saiyan from Earth, Raditz, finally makes his appearance. He had sat out of most of the conflict in order to avoid a conflict of interest for the long run, but after so much carnage, he can no longer stand idly and watch the world burn without trying to stop his mad brother from another universe.

Raditz zips into the range of the battle, putting himself into the range to fight as needed, glaring at Kakarot, and not backing down. "Father fought to bring the Saiyans out of the rule of the likes of Frieza, BUT NOW YOU'RE ALMOST DONE FINISHING THE BASTARD'S JOB FOR HIM!"

He glares at Kakarot, and says, "Don't be the one to destroy our race! CALL THIS OFF!"

Allo (724) has posed:
"Right now, as long as he's fighting -against- Kakarot, where he belongs to doesn't really matter," Allo replied with a nod. Glances towards Rex. "Shall we give them a moment to catch up before we crash their little reunion?", he manages in a bit of tongue-in-cheek tone, despite the gravitas of the entire situation. It's a small but welcome bit of stress deterent.

All the same, Allo made sure his weapons were at the ready for when they had to move.

Rhapsody (325) has posed:
There's so much going on that it's truly hard to keep track of it all. For the dragons of the Izzet, coordinating their massive evactuation effort has been their focus. Namamura was one thing, but an entire planet was a step up from previous efforts. It had gone smoothly, however, Sidonia is quick to point out the sight seen in the sky to the FAR EAST. That orb in the sky was familiar. It meant that the Saiyans would start to transform, hindering the evactuation efforts the League had in place there. After a quick transmission to Dracula, the trio of dragons board an Observer-sphere and streak off through the sky toward the glowing lunar-like orb. Tibor and Lumina would take over evacuation efforts.

Glitter (721) has posed:
Glitter can't bring herself to make a joke. She knows it wouldn't hurt anything if she did, but she's just not in the right mindspace for it. Or to be sarcastic. She tries to give Cory and some of the others a smile, meant more for reassurance than because she's in a good mood.

"So," she says, but doesn't get to say much more. She hears Kakarot has arrived, and kicks off back into the air - but she doesn't zip off that way. She could have gone north to protect the transport, but she didn't; she expects some of the others, more experienced with fighting, to manage that. Glitter is strong, enormously so, but she doesn't have a warrior's experience.

No, instead Glitter rushes east, toward the epicenter of the most recent earthquake. There are so many of them it's almost not worth seperating them instead of just considering them a single constant rumble, but this one is bigger - and it's where she feels the most able to assist, someplace where her particular kind of strength might be most useful.

"I'll be back!" she calls, down at the rendezvous - before she starts to accelerate, speeding up rapidly as she practically throws herself forward. Her fatigue isn't quite forgotten, but it's ignored, at least for now.

Cory (768) has posed:
Cory somersault leaps to Vegeta's side, over other folks' heads. Upon landing she fishes under the fabric of her skintight blue sight round her neck, and pulls out... two small green beans.

"You've been out there way longer than me. Definitely need this one more." She tucks one away, but the other she plucks up between two fingers and holds out for Vegeta.

There's some concern in her eyes. Guy's mortal now, and in THAT bad of shape.

If a Super Saiyan can't handle this over a long period of time, she'll DEFINITELY need to keep that bean in reserve...

This belief sets in even harder when Kakarot's presence is made clear. Frowning and doing her best to hide her choking fear. But then things get worse.

    They always get worse.

Her attention swings briefly to the Southwest, and fists clench. "More of that?! ... Sorry, Vegeta. You guys're out of my league anyways. Give Kakarot a punch for me or something. I'll go deal with the 'small fry.'" There is BITTER SARCASM in her voice.

She hates being so far behind all the others here. HATES it.

At the same time, what a thing it is to look up to.

"KAIOKEN TIMES FIVE!" Crimson Ki whirls up around her, and rapidly propels her towards the Southwest crisis.

The Neo-Saiyans are in for a rather fierce assault of flying kicks!

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute flies Giratina towards the SOUTHWEST.

But, as he swoops over the Saiyans, he's going to make /one last/ attempt at diplomacy with them. He stands on Giratina, looking down at them from the sky.

"HEY. Neo-Saiyans! ...You guys are... probably not going to listen to this! And I know my allies are going to attack you anyways. BUT. I want to give you all /one last chance/ to come with me. Kakarot is leading you to your deaths. And you can become stronger, /greater/, if you come with me!"

He really does not expect this to work at all, especially with the others coming in full force against the Southwest. As such, he's releasing his Raichu, and having it prepare. Gathering its electricity, while still standing on Giratina's back.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
So much stuff going on at once should be a lot harder for Sanary to decide on what to actually do. With all the radio communication going on, though, it actually doesn't take her very long! She pauses to make sure her helmet is on securely and the gunaxe is properly loaded with Ice shells before hoofing it to the EAST. With any luck, she might actually make it there soon enough to keep people from diving straight into a canyon!

And maybe not fall into one herself. That would be just great.

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
So many issues at once, but fortunately there are plenty of people with the specialties to deal with them. The assault on the transport line seems like the one best suited to the strength of Death and Dracula, but that Moon Ball foretells even greater dangers. With a brief sweep of his hand toward the saiyans attacking the ground transport, the Lord of Darkness sends a clear signal to any of his demons in the area, and without question they move to offer their aid to the transport. The infernal horde protecting the transport with tooth and claw and flame and magic should be enough to at least lessen the damage until some more capable Elites arrive.

In the meantime, the flight of the vampire and the reaper speeds up toward the far east. The Izzet dragons are on their way as well, but just to ensure that they mitigate the number of oozaru appearing from the moon's presence, Dracula and Death hurl assaults at it from a distance as they approach. Sickles and roiling balls of hellfire fly through the air toward the orb, aimed to hopefully disrupt it before too many oozaru can appear.

Serori (37) has posed:
RADITZ should keep his eyes open to other threats. Kakarot has a plan, and his people are present to guarantee it's carried out to fruition. Their role is too do more than just harry the evacuation efforts and keep all the would-be heroes at bay -- they're also to keep any interlopers out of Kakarot's business. As soon as Raditz approaches the battlefield and draws close enough to make his furious challenge be heard, two saiyans drop from unseen positions in the ash-strewn sky, bursting into golden Super Saiyan radiance in the midst of their defense.

"Mind your own business!" The female in blue armor taunts Raditz in a scathing tone. "Your words mean nothing to our king!"

The male is green armor hangs back slightly to start charging a ki blast between his hands. "You won't get in King Kakarot's way!"

The female darts forward to try and physically toss Raditz into the path of her partner's released energy wave.

Vegeta (663) has posed:
"You can't handle them alone. I'm going there too. Gohan and Raditz have family business with Kakarot. I've made my peace with him." Vegeta takes the bean, then crunches it into his mouth. His eyes widen, then the wounds on his exposed torso begin to heal, and he can feel his energy rising. "That's... that's much better."

His hair bursts golden as he reaches the first stage of Super Saiyan, then he flies after Cory as well. "This is your chance to fight alongside your king."

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
Several alarms go off for different assist and the Legatus tsks softly. Two were aerial issues and not something he could anything with, another was ground-- but Saiyans were aerial fighters and once more he is limited in such fights.

Then there is people in danger on the ground from natural causes. While one would be the more glory filled option, he chooses the other, because it is what he is better equipped to do right now. With a tap on his own comm line he gets a hold of those here under his command that can make themselves available and to quickly get the Reapers moving.

The Legatus himself is in full run, as the bottom line of his boots flicker with light on each hard impacting step as he moves over the terrain and leaps with some great distance to quickly cover the distance, before leaning over and catching a ride on a side of a Reaper on the move. This leads a question from the man he is catching a ride with. "How do we plan to clear them past the chasms, my Lord?"

Gaius doesn't respond right away. He hasn't thought that far honestly. There was limited resources available and limited time. The Legatus only looked onward to the location they were coming up on quickly. "We make away for them to cross. Buildings, lines, whatever we have available. Even if it means using the Reapers as away to keep a line taut for a bridge."

It was obvious that there was no plan then and this was going to be difficult task they were moving into, but they would find away... They had too.

However as they move, Gaius quickly departs from the Reaper, as the machine starts to lose its footing from the unstable earth. Once he leaves its side it quickly corrects itself. The Legatus then moves toward as close as he can, sliding a bit down a slight ledge to see just /what/ could be done, before tapping his comm even with some static on the line. >"Two of you scout along the edge. Give me a report on what can be found, just don't get to close if you can avoid it. I don't want to see any of you claimed by the fire nor our resources available lowered."<

He only had a few Reapers here with him and maybe just a few men. This was not going to be easy, but if they can knock one of those buildings over at the right angle or make some type of crossing rail--- maybe just maybe--- "...don't leave me hanging for information... we don't have much time."

Rebound (750) has posed:
As the alerts begin to go up, Rebound listens to the various calls for help. She doesn't think she can fight giant monkey men, and she doesn't think she can stop lava flows. She also doesn't think she can fly yet. So that helps her narrow her choices down a little bit. She just has to figure out what direction is Southwest.

She takes a few steps and then leaps, powerful kangaroo legs carrying her off towards the Southwest so she can try to do what she can to help take out the horde of Neo-Saiyans that are trying to destroy the convoy.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Kakarot doesn't seem to notice Rex and Allo, which works into their plans perfectly. Is it tunnel vision, willfull ignorance, or is he trying to bait them? It's hard to tell.

Gohan calls back to Kakarot, and he shakes his head. "There's only one way to stop this, Gohan. This accursed Multiverse, this Union and Confederacy... They have no respect for anything they do not control. They do not know what death and failure means. In the end, because of their greed and hypocrisy, they have turned a King into a Monster."

Raditz calls out to him as well, and Kakarot looks down at his other-universe brother...

And turns his back on him. "I expected more from you, Raditz. You don't understand what I have built, why I am doing what I am doing. Your convinction and power are weak. It's no /wonder/ you let Vegeta take the title of King of Saiyans from you. You are not the future of our people. Get out of my sight."

It's at this point that he looks up and points to Gohan. "There is only one way this is going to end, Gohan. Stop me, IF YOU CAN!" Trailing light like a comet, Super Saiyan Kakarot slams towards Gohan at full strength with a spinning kick, planning to strike first if Gohan will not.

Serori (37) has posed:
As our heroes depart the rendezvous to begin responding to threats across the city and beyond, another threat appears. Unlike the rest, this one is soft, silent, and stealthy. REBOUND may be among the first to make note of the creeping danger, as her rooftop vantage grants a +5 to her perception check.

Several wounded Neo-Saiyans approach the Lava Dome on foot. Using the damaged city as cover, the group of five moves toward their objective in fits and spurts, all possible caution taken to avoid detection. If Rebound spots their movements, and follows them long enough, she'll be able to deduce their goal:

The shields.

The Izzet League left behind an emergency failsafe to protect the planet from immediate desolation; the magical shield can still be taken down, however.

Raditz (486) has posed:
Raditz blinks a little as suddenly he's got the attention of a pair of underlings, and having not yet entered Super Saiyan form, he admittedly was gonna show off in a moment. Now though, when the female tries to grapple and toss him, he grunts and goes with the flow, finding himself flung into the blast and takes it head on, and for a moment the blast engulfs him.

When the smoke clears, raditz hangs there for a moment, cracks in his armor, as he tilts his head up, and glares at the mook in the eyes, "I'm sorry, I didn't catch your names."

With that he roars, and lets his aura engulf him explosively. Gold hair, green eyes. Super Saihyan first. Yeah, a lot of the Saiyans can do this. However, Raditz smirks and ROARS AGAIN, his power SKY ROCKETING EVEN FURTHER!

Lightning Crackling around Raditz's body, his hair spiking out. He never showed his full power to his brother, for exactly this reason.

He was an Ascended Super Saiyan.

To the mooks, Raditz simply glares in contempt, "I AM RADITZ! SON OF BARDOCK! I AM THE OLDER BROTHER OF KAKAROT, AND HE WILL HEAR ME!"

He then calms down, and glares into the pair's eyes. "Out. Of. My. WAY!!"

He releases an explosive burst of Ki, powerful enough to send the pair of SSJ1's flying back at least a bit.

Deelel has posed:
Deelel has been caught up in the madness of this battle there's a convoy under attack and the elites here are spread too thin to handle it. So she's going to have to go it alone. She's now on the ground, but on her light jet making for the convoy. She knows it's under attack and she has no idea how long it can hold out. It's utter chaos and madness it's so much like the Purge. No it's just like the Purge on her own world.

She's getting vcloser to the attackers and is going to start taking pot shots with her jet's light machine guns. Energy bolts are flying as she closes.

Serori (37) has posed:
NORTH GROUP.

Deelel's jet cuts across the Neo Saiyan assault on the evacuation convoy. Several of the Green-armored saiyans carrying out the attack are scattered by the initial strafing run, and one even plunges toward the ground with a smoking hole in his gut. The distraction enables the evacuation convoy to right itself and continue on its way, but one of the craft remains slowed down by a wobbly wing and an engine shooting sparks. Sure enough, this damaged craft starts to lose altitude!

As Deelel thinks about how to handle this situation, a few Union flyers streak by to follow up on her attack. The Green-armored saiyans then fly straight up to disappear into the ash clouds.

Deelel can either pursue them, or help the evacuation ship.

Rebound (750) has posed:
Mid-jump she manages to spot the group of Neo Saiyans that are trying to sneak through the city. She had landed on a rooftop to get her next jump but then the movement caught her attention. She stopped and jumped after them. Moving rooftop to rooftop tracking bad guys is something she has a lot of practice with.

When she figures out where they're going, she knows she has to get in there and stop them. While there's probably still people defending the shields, there's no way they'll be prepared to get attacked like that and if those shields go down, then the whole planet will shake itself apart before anyone has a chance to figure out what happened.

Serori (37) has posed:
EAST GROUP.

Sanary, Glitter, and Gaius speed to the rescue of the eastern suburb. The Neo Saiyans aren't responsible for the threats to be found here; no, the danger is natural, not alien. A gaping crater splits the area virtually in half. Superheated air rises up from the crater in shimmering waves, piling on the risk the crack itself entails. Several other smaller fissures splinter off from the main chasm. Each of them glow orange in their bellies, revealing streams of liquefied magma waiting to erupt onto the surface.

Multiple buildings have toppled over in the earthquake. An ongoing evacuation process stands interrupted, and at risk of failure. Several aircraft intended as evacuation vessels have been knocked sideways; one sticks out from under a heap of rubble, possibly still worthwhile, but mostly grounded. Cries for help come from all directions, even high and low. There's a lot to search for and manage in this place.

If the Neo Saiyans spot the vulnerability, it could get much worse...

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Genghis Rex nods to Allo, waiting for Gohan and Kakarot to have their moment ... fingering his fossilizer in anticipation. He resolve is there, if he dies today, he'll be fine with that, so long as Kakarot goes with him. Allowing an honor battle between the Neo-Saiyan King and his alternate universe son might be noble, but it wasn't in the cards, at least not as long as Rex drew breath.

As Kakarot powers up and streak toward gohan, Rex leaps out from his hiding spot and snaps off a series of energy blasts at Kakarot's form, "You want the by, do you, Kakarot? Well I've spent the past 4 months denying you what you want, what makes you think I'd let you have him as well? You want to fight, you HAVE ONE, but not the fight you wanted. I will NEVER give you want you want, you psychopath!"

(BG theme for Rex and Allo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jn-SmjNGK8A)

Gohan (334) has posed:
Gohan closes his eyes, feeling Kakarot's power, sensing energy all around. His muscles tense, and his eyes snap back open, bracing his shield in a defensive position. "Fine," he says, allowing his aura to flare high around him. "I had to offer once to assuage my own guilt." His eyes narrow. "We end this, then, FATHER!" He raises his shield, the impact of the kick leaving a dent on the unblemished surface. He is knocked through the sky, but keeps his balance. However, before he can mount a counterattack, Genghis Rex makes his presense known and attacks Kakarot. He glares down, the heat of battle overtaking his reasoning for a split second. Then, he smiles.

"It seems that we have company. You attacked a superfaction's ally, and this world's leaders wish to defend against you as well. You didn't forget to account for them, did you?" He smirks, then flickers as he rushes forward. His shield hums through the air before aiming to smash across Kakarot's face. "They can get their shots in, but your life... It's my job to take it!"

Serori (37) has posed:
SOUTHWEST GROUP.

Vegeta, Cory, and Lute come onto the scene just as Castlevania's demonic forces begin to falter. Their defense was not up to withstanding the Neo Saiyan assault for the long term, so it's a good thing these more capable warriors have arrived!

The Blue-armored saiyans continue to thrash around the transport line itself while Red-armored speedsters turn their attention to Vegeta and Cory. Surprisingly, Lute's not worth more than a glance, at least not right away -- maybe they've made the mistake of thinking he's not much of a threat?

Vegeta and Cory come under a concentrated series of attacks, both ki-based and physical. The Red-armored Neo Saiyans work together in small teams to try and outflank and outmaneuver their prey. When Vegeta looks one way, another enemy hits him from behind. When Cory zigs, someone else zags, and gets right in her path. If Vegeta and Cory aren't careful, they'll be herded right into --

-- a total barrage! Ki bolts rain down on Vegeta, Cory, and Lute like raindrops pounding down from a storm cloud. Those Green-armored saiyans have used their Red-armored brethren as a distraction!

Meanwhile, the Blue-armored saiyans prove they know more about Lute and his Pokemon than it first seemed. Three form up to focus on the Pokemon itself. These guys might be slower, but their greater endurance means they can tank through some pretty serious retaliation. They aim to take Giratina from the picture through whatever brutal means become available. Punches, headbutts, ki bolts, bites -- anything goes. That Giratina has to be handled.

Allo (724) has posed:
The time for honor and noble causes was long since past. You could say those times died when Reptilon started dying.

Now it was just the war for survival. Not for them, but for their people. If he did die tonight, it would be as the protector of his kind, as he was meant to be. Despite the position he was put in by his aunt and uncle Allo had always felt himself more of a guardian than a leader.

He lets Rex take the charge, because that's what Rex does. But Allo is right behind him, lifting his larger energy rifle. He fires off less overall shots than his counterpart, but Allo is trying to be more precise with his marksman (marksdino?) skill, trying to anticipate Kakarot's movements from the other attacks and lead his shots into those moments to hit.

"Normally I'd have some lengthy speech to make, but frankly, I've got nothing left to say to the likes of you Kakarot." Other than the laser fire, that is.

Glitter (721) has posed:
Glitter flies low, over Sanary. "Want a lift?" she asks as she does - and if Sanary accepts, she gets pulled up too, along with Glitter, saving her a trip over broken terrain and chasms. It's not a very comfortable flight - it feels a lot like being dragged along by a field that surrounds her body - but it is fast. And easy; she doesn't even feel wind speed.

Glitter sets her down in the eastern region, not sure where she wants to go; she drops her off near the more or less intact evacuation ship as a result and then lands next to her. It's /hot/ here; even behind her shield, Glitter's sweating a little bit. Glitter looks at it for a moment, communicating with Gaius and Sanary, before reaching out one hand toward the ship.

The headache comes back. She ignores it, simply pulling not the ship itself but the things piled on it - gently, not as hard as she could but steadily, lifting rocks off it and rolling them to the side as she tries to free the ship. She can't drive it, but Gaius apparently can, and she'd like to free it so it /can/ be piloted.

She doesn't do all of it; she moves only the biggest pieces, trusting that smaller ones will either fall off or be clearable by the rest. Glitter takes off again, removing a couple other largeish rocks with her telekinetic grip as she does, trying to locate some of the cries for help while the people who are vehicularly inclined finish the rest of the job.

Serori (37) has posed:
FAR EAST GROUP.

The Moon Ball is nothing more than a diversion.

Dracula and his Reaper together unleash terrible forces against the Moon Ball just as Rhapsody's team comes soaring into the region. The Moon Ball bursts apart, scattering into silvery motes of light that fall on...nothing. The whole area looks to be empty. There's not a single oozaru to be spotted anywhere. What could this possibly mean? No doubt Dracula's savvy enough to keep wary. Rhapsody, too, must be cautious about touching down.

It's quiet for a long, long time. The last of the Moon Ball fades into nothing, leaving the area drenched in eerie darkness.

That's when the Neo Saiyans appear.

It's an ambush! Like the attack on Lava Dome City, these Neo Saiyans sequestered themselves beneath the ground, only to swarm up the moment viable prey put itself into reach. Blue armor, Red armor, Green armor -- it's a large force emerging from the rubble and earth. Such a tactic had led to the downfall of many evacuation lines. Would it also lead to the end of Dracula, Death, and Rhapsody? Everyone there comes under fire. Ki rips apart the area. Craters begin to dig broad trenches into the earth. The explosions build and build, until it looks almost like the sun is started to rise.

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
Gaius takes notes of the shimmering glow from the deeper part the chasm and its causes his jaw to tighten to one side. That alone isn't good and the fact his HUD is buzzing a yellow warning at him is another factor, but one he plans to ignore.

The Legatus quickly takes a look, before he motions to three of the four Reapers here. "You three!" He barks out and over comm. "Go to an area you can leap over safely and see about toppling down an empty building for a rapid Land Bridge. Lets get people moving at least one direction of flow."

Once Sanary catches up with him, he checks the table and tightens a lope in it, as he does so, she may notice a few flickers of red glows on the lines of his armor as he pulls on power to treat the cable as if it was a standard rope. Then waves over to one of the Reapers. "Take her to wherever she needs to go in there. Get those people out of that building."

"Yes my Lord!" The fully armored Garlean says before reaching his hand down to Sanary so she can climb up and they can make their way around to get into the area.

As for Gaius himself he takes a stride back, before flexing his hands. Then with a hard shove of his foot he goes into a full run as the Magitek Armor goes into full power, then with a hard push off, he goes to leap across, however his shove off is a little off and on the rough landing, he almost falls back /into/ the chasm, having to pull himself up and glaring at the yellow warning just flashing at him. "Yes. Yes. Heat. I know."

Then with a grunt goes to meet up with Glitter to see about that craft.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
It's still better than flying inside an airship. Sanary's actually quite calm as she goes with Glitter to speed across the broken terrain, even managing to breathe normally once she settles back down onto relatively steady ground. She surveys the damage, looking from wreckage to wreckage to figure out what she could realistically handle. Freeing the aircraft was out: Too much rubble, and actually trying to pull that machine out from underneath that mess probably wasn't going to work even with that strength she's usually so confident in.

That leaves trying to free those trapped inside. Passing off one end of the cable to Gaius, she blinks slowly at the driver of the Reaper before climbing into that machine next. "Alright. Let's take check out that building. I know I heard some people on the way over."

It's still not flying, at least, so the ride is, surprisingly, just as not terrifying! Once they get to the building proper, She hops off the machine and turns to the driver. "Try clearing out some space at the top, but watch out for anything that's coming down. I don't want to get buried in all this crap or anything." She snaps the driver a brief salute, then heads right into the rubble to start trying to dig out the survivors while following the cries for help.

Serori (37) has posed:
CRATER GROUP. Or, the Raditz fight.

As Raditz unleashes his Super Saiyan power, the Blue-armored female throws herself between the blast wave and her partner, forearms crossed before her chest to help resist the blow. She's pushed back several feet, but her partner is left protected, and he begins to charge and initiate another barrage of hyperquick ki blasts. Each bolt is low-powered, but too fast to ignore, and annoying enough to make Raditz want to move. This helps the female keep Raditz away from Kakarot, even though it means she's going to suffer for her role. Two Super Saiyans against one Super Saiyan Two -- it's probably a great fight. It'll carry on in the background as the rest of the chaos ensues.

Deelel has posed:
Deelel is now doing what she can to scatter she lets them fleet at this point, she's going to have to trust in the flyboys from the Union to keep the Sayain's busy. There's a lot of civilians on those transports. She banks down going to aid the transport, it's a hard call but they are here for the civilians. She's going to attempt to help the evasion ship by using her own craft to prop it up and try to keep it in the air a bit longer. She then opens a channel.

"Pilot what's your situation?"

Rhapsody (325) has posed:
When the silvery false-moon vanishes into nothing, the trio within the observersphere seem confused. No oozaru? No enemy? Rhapsody starts to pilot the sphere down, only to have Sidonia warn her off, "Don't!" Seems the skeptical one of the three had a gut feeling that turned out to be correct. Rhapsody pulls back, sending the sphere skyward, only to have the emerging forces unleash all their firepower into the air. "Eject!" All three of them actually dive out of the sphere at the same time! That's not good, is it?!

It may have been easy to forget, but the trio inside the observersphere were, in fact, dragons. Despite the forms they had used to go into the vehicle, what comes out is far, far different. Sidonia has vanished, Ryxinel has taken flight in his true form, and Rhapsody takes hold of her blue spell blade, expending a charge of 'Mizzium Skin' just as she crashes into the ground, protecting her from harm. Once down, the trio start to tear into the saiyan forces. Ryxinel, using his full draconic form, sends fire out at those that dare to come close. Sidonia, using her natural stealth, silenty stalks about the field, picking off anyone that dares to step away from the group. Rhapsody, for her part, has drawn both her spell blades and begins to put all the lessons that Jeannette has given her to practice. Any warrior that thinks getting out of range of those blades would find a face full of Rhapsody's breath weapon if they let their guard down!

Cell (696) has posed:
It is at that point that the FAR EAST cluster receives an unfortunate realization.

One of the Saiyans is missing.

He was right there, just a moment ago. In fact, he was just with them seconds before they burst out of the ground. Where'd he go? And why does the hole have...another hole in it?

A hole with...is that music coming out of it? Or...singing?

     "Goldfinger~"

There's the sound of a scream from inside the hole.

     "...man with the Midas touch...a spider's touch~"

Then the ground erupts. Rocks explode everywhere as, from under the tunnels of the Neo-Saiyans, the monster emerges. He rises out of the tunnel, arms spread, a hideous smile in his compound eyes as one of the Neo-Saiyans dangles from his tail, the spike jammed into the back of his skull. The horrible slurping sound fills the air, punching through the noise of battle.

"Goldfinger~," Cell continues, the hideous buzzing lending an alien cadence to the song as it mingles with the slurp. Slurp. Slurp. of the Neo-Saiyan being devoured, "Beckons you, to enter his web of sin~"

     "But," slurp

     "Don't," slurp

     "Go," slurp

     "in~" slurp.

The Saiyan's armor falls to the ground, empty even of skin. Cell's eyes fixate on the next of the Saiyans, his hideous tail swinging upwards like a scorpion's. Around him, a howling Saiyan ghost rises in his aura, screaming in horror at its new and terrible existence. He so rarely got to cut loose. It was so.../refreshing/.

"It's the kiss of death," Cell croons, "From Mister Gold-finger~..."

Vegeta (663) has posed:
Vegeta tries to focus on landing finishing blows, throwing punches hard enough to collapse a Saiyan's stomach to the point of unconsciousness. But he's not used to these sorts of tactics, and he doesn't quite predict them herding them into that barrage.

His first instinct is to jump up and hold both hands out, creating a golden barrier of energy to try and shield Lute and Cory. But the mass of ki breaks through, and he gets knocked right down into the ground.

The only armor he wears right now is the bottom half of his jumpsuit and his boots, not to mention his torn gloves. He's already covered in burns. "We need to work together -very- closely if we're going to defeat them."

He suddenly stands, then starts firing a rapid barrage of balls. They're entirely random, he's not even -aiming- them. He's just trying to break up the strategy and uniformity of the Neo-Saiyans. Any one of those energy spheres will explode like a grenade on impact.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
This is not a time for honor. The Multiverse demanded a monster and Kakarot provided. This is a battle without honor or humanity. As Kakarot and Gohan clash, Rex blasts him from behind with energy blasts, striking him dead in the back alongside Allo. Two rivals, together, fighting against the most terrible common foe to befall their people. A week ago, he might have been able to use his ki to deflect the shots, but Rex's spray catches him, setting him up for Allo's precise marksmanship. Blood sprays as wounds open across his body once more from the lasers, and Kakarot yells in anger, causing him to turn and return fire with a barrage of ki blasts in the direction of the dinosaur pair. "Oh, NOW you are going to fight! Or is this another clone, Rex? I can never tell with you! And Allo! I'm glad you didn't waste time with a speech. Show me what the lives of your people mean to you!"

It's at this point that Gohan whips past him and slams into his face with the shield, knocking him back. He runs a hand across his face, wiping away the blood and holding that red hand forward. "You think this is enough to claim my life, Gohan?" He hisses. "You think you can stop me like that? Come on, I've taken worse hits than that in training! All I am seeing is weakness! You aren't my son, Gohan! Clearly your mother has been too weak to tell you when to take things seriously!"

With that scream, he rams forward, blasting Gohan backwards before he zwees back, flash-stepping back to the surface of the volcano. He turns, gripping a massive strut that's been buried into the surface of the caldera. "This ship... Was named the Bardock, after my father. Your grandfather. PERHAPS YOU SHOULD MEET HIM! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" As he screams, he rips the massive strut out, spraying gotus of magma everywhere as he hturns and hurls the hunk of spaceship like a burning, half-molten spear at the trio of assailants.

Lute (188) has posed:
An incredibly dissapointed look is on Lute's face. He is incredibly sad at this point. He frowns, shaking his head at the Neo-Saiyans. As the barrage of Ki begins, Lute's response is immediate. He releases his Gardevoir, and it creates a reflective barrier around him and Lute, with its Psychic powers. It will only hold up for so long, though. But. He has an amazing amount of trust in his allies. Vegeta and Chikorri... They /will/ destroy the Saiyans.

As the Blue-armored Saiyans move in, Giratina responds. He weaves out of the path of the punches and headbutts, but the Ki strikes from them and the green-armored Saiyans fly in and strike him. Gardevoir can only guard against so much, and keeping Lute and Raichu straight are the best bet at the moment.

"...Raichu. Thunder Wave. Wide spread. And, Giratina...." There is a pause as Lute speaks. He's holding back his orders a bit. He knows what he has to do here, but still, he doesn't like this situation. At all. He knows the move he should order against those three Saiyans chasing Giratina. Ominous Wind, followed by moving in to slash and claw them straight through.

     "...Use Scary Face."

And Lute can not bring himself to kill today. This is unusual for him. He doesn't care about right and wrong, the moral values of killing. But he can't bring himself to kill these people.

The Raichu fires out a massive wave of Thunder. This is more 'paralyze' level, than actual damage. Aiming to hurt the nervous system, and send the body into a bit of a paralyzed shock. Giratina, on the other hand, floats back a bit. And suddenly, there is an /incredibly/ massive pressure surrounding it. Its eyes glare red with ferocity. The entire area around it begins to tremble and shake. It is a move meant to force fear into the opponent, while also trying to supernaturally lower their speed by the shear pressure.

Lute stands tall on Giratina. His look of sadness turns to a look of anger and rage. Lute himself is not a man who has a huge commanding presence. But. He is going to put everything he has into this. This is probably his last chance to try and convince them otherwise.

     He knows it won't work.

"STAND DOWN. THE LOT OF YOU STAND NO CHANCE. I AM LOGAN NATHANIEL TRIESTE. With my Pokemon, I stand as strong as some of the STRONGEST SAIYANS. I am amongst the most powerful forces in the Multiverse. But. JOIN ME. Come with me. And I will help you achieve power beyond what you have ever seen. Kakarot leads you to Death. I will lead you to /TRIUMPH./"

Lute reaches to his belt. He pulls up another Pokemon, and holds it to the sky.He is trying to emphasize with his entire body, to reinforce his statement. He is strong. He is powerful. He is greater even than Vegeta.

And he is praying that this will work, despite all odds.

Cory (768) has posed:
"Never paid much attention to who's in charge of what, to be honest!" Cory lightheartedly exclaims in a tone that just doesn't give a darn! "But with you around I dunno who's helping WHO."

Oh well. Such trivial things don't really matter. Crimson and gold fight side by side!

Fists and feet cross and clash, Ki blasts are tanked, batted away, and even returned in a dizzying display of prowess. ONe on one, Cory's fairly sure she could handle these guys, but Vegeta's right... doing it alone ain't going to work.

"Ghhhh---" A roundhouse kick clobbers her aside the head, a Ki blast strikes her in the side, a fist's buried in her gut. She's battered and bashed around just as much as she's giving back, and every hit's all the worse from the stresses of maintaining Kaioken.

"We're up against some pretty tight teamwork--" She begins to say, only to FEEL just how bad her current position is moments before the barrage begins.

    "...Well... damn."

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

All she can do is brace herself at the last moment. Blasts slam into her one after another, scorching her arms and pushing her further and further back through the air. Breaking away is bad, she'll just get dogpiled! Doing NOTHING is worse, she'll be worn down to nothing. "Yeah, I know!" Is her answer to the Saiyan royal.

Blasts continue to hammer her, but for now she just toughs it out and THROWS HER ARMS WIDE. Power sizzles and crackles in both palms as she gathers Ki, forming two thick spheres. Her armor now takes the brunt of that assault, and the tough material doesn't last. Cracks spread across it in a hurry, chunks blown off... but it buys her the time she needs for her own manuever. "Like THIS?!"

Chikorri slams both hands together in a manner Vegeta might find a bit familiar. It's similar to one of his moves, but the finger spread's just not quite right-- "MY TURN!!"

A yellow-white beam bursts free of her palms, flying straight for the green-armored bunch.

It can't hit ALL of them, right?! It's easy to dodge--

"HYAH!" Then Cory wrenches her arms around and straight down.

The beam compresses and EXPLODES, splitting into at least a dozen smaller ones, aimed carefully for MANY targets.

Serori (37) has posed:
LAVA DOME.

The stealth group continues its advance. Fortunately, Rebound returns to the heart of the Lava Dome before they arrive, and has time to alert the stationed defenders to the situation. Her quick reaction spurs the soldiers into action; guns are manned, scanning tech turned toward the city streets, and the most scaled and noisy of the defenders awakens from lava-dwelling nap.

Ninety feet of Agnaktor uncoils from the magma pool to turn his glaring slit-pupiled eyes in the direction Rebound's indicated. Roko's here to give Rebound a...hand? A flipper?

A single figure appears silhouetted in the opening leading to the Lava Dome's churning, flickering shields -- one of the Neo Saiyans. Guns warm and begin to fire. Roko clacks his beak, and disappears beneath the magma pool to burrow through the ground.

The opening goes up in a conflagration of ki power as the wounded Neo Saiyan gives her life to her king's cause.

The explosion serves more than the purpose of distracting the defenders -- it gives her people a chance to rush forward. Three of the remaining squadron dart through the chaos to make a run on the shields themselves. Rebound is one of the few who stand in their way, and her leadership could get these defenders working in concert.

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
The moment he notices that the entire area is /empty/, Dracula suspects what's about to come. A quick nod is all he passes to Death, and the reaper understands; they halt their flight and hover back-to-back, awaiting the arrival of the Neo-Saiyans.

It's violent. Explosions burst forth around them, consuming the pair in a building light that grows brighter and brighter with each passing moment. All Dracula can be seen to do beforehand is cast his wings around him, and all Death manages is to cast his cloak /away/, and then the two are obscured by the radiance of obliteration.

It's some time before any sign of the pair is shown once the devastation ceases. Death's ragged cloak flutters in the air, torn and ruptured. Smoke rises in a rumbling plume, and it seems for a period that the pair are gone.

Then great wings of plated feathers burst out of the smoke, beating strong enough to cast it away in a hurricane wind and reveal where Dracula and Death have gone.

The Neo-Saiyans present in the first assault on Reptilon would recognize Dracula's giant, demonic form. Black plates cover a towering body that seems made of roiling blood below, crimson glowing in the cracks between the dark plates. Horns curl back from the brow over glaring eyes of blood, and four wings whose nearly angelic feathers are formed from nothing more than sharp, jagged armor plates spread behind him. He hovers high above the ground, grinning a fanged smile at the Neo-Saiyans as he holds in his hands...a scythe. A vicious weapon equally as large as Dracula himself, seemingly forged from countless souls whose screaming faces cover the curving handle and whose agony boils in the single red eye at the base of the long, wicked blade.

Dracula's bellowing laugh is malice and power, even as his body steams from the powerful blasts leveled on him by the Neo-Saiyans. "Well done," he rumbles in his warped dragon's voice. "Well done indeed! But now.../NOW/ you will see my true power! Your reign is at an end, Neo-Saiyans, and you will see the depths of your folly! Feel the power of darkness! FEEL THE POWER OF LORD DRACULA!"

Dracula's wings suddenly spread to the sides with a blast of light, and from the center of his back burst an array of blazing green spears of light that fly back before homing in on the ambushing Neo-Saiyans. At the same time, he swings the scythe that Death has become in a diagonal downard arc, and along the blades path manifest dozens of swirling sickles that go flying through the air in all directions; while the spears' homing may be loose enough for the saiyans to evade if they're fast, those sickles filling the air are problematic for movement.

NORTH GROUP.

Deelel's decision to aid the falling vessel proves to be almost her own end. As soon as she dips down to investigate the ship's situation, multiple Neo Saiyans come streaking down like lightning bolts to resume their attack on the other fleeing evacuation craft. The factional flyers in the area move to intercept. Energy bolts are traded with missiles and focused laser blasts. One sector of the sky goes white as another Neo Saiyan gives his life in a self-destruct used to destroy one of the fleeing craft. More losses are felt on both sides, but it's clear the Neo Saiyans are being driven back again. The flyers come around and make another pass. The Neo Saiyans fall back further, though two of their number evidently spot Deelel's situation and decide to take her out rather than retreat. The Green-armored saiyans speed right at Deelel!

Deelel, meanwhile, hears from the damaged ship's pilot: "My right engine's out! I can't make orbit without more propulsion! Can you get us clear of the atmosphere?!"

Allo (724) has posed:
"Maybe you should of taken the hint," Allo retorts when Kakarot keeps up with his own lengthy commentaries despite their own bluntness. Even after everything they've put up from him it was hard to tell with Kakarot was that full of his own arrogance, or it was some attempt at playing taunting mindgames with his foes. The safest bet was that it was a good portion of both.

But tonight, Allo was having none of the blather or its intentions of demoralizing them.

Then Kakarot recovers from their attacks, and despite the injuries, heaves a strut from the wreckage of his ship and winds up to use it like a weapon against them. Allo narrows his eyes, and decides on his choices of action quickly. "Hey, Rex?" Allo digs in his feet to brace himself. "Ally oop!"

That seemingly non-sequitor the only warning the Tyranno leader gets before Allo half turns and grabs the T-Rex's tail with his own. Allo ignores what protesting at the contact that is likely to come from Rex, Allo focuses on his knowledge of martial fighting with one's tail to use his own weight and physical control as a counterbalance to do so and take advantage of centerfugical force.

To spin around to use the tail grip like a slingshot and heave Rex into the air, throwing him OVER the incoming girder and towards Kakarot!

Of course he gets slammed by the metal object moments afterward, bowling him off his claws and tumbling down the rocky slope a bit before finally getting enough traction to break the fall, several chunks of busted off armor clattering down the rubble past him. That blow, it really hurt.

But true to his nature he took that sacrifice to set his dino-in-arms up for the counterattack.

Gohan (334) has posed:
Gohan feels the shield connect, his arm numbing from the force of the impact. Such a simple shield isn't going to last long in a fight like this, already showing cracks and dents across the surface. Gohan snarls slightly, glaring at Kakarot as he mocks him. "Weakness? How dare yo--" And then he touches a nerve. The halfbreed's Saiyan blood roars at the insult, and he can feel that rage inside him boiling. But still he holds it back, only allowing a portion to bubble up. "Don't you EVER insult my mother you SON OF A BITCH!"

As Kakarot hurls that piece of the Bardock at the three of them, Gohan steps in front of it, smashing it off course with his shield. The shield shatters under the impact, but it's not enough. It scorches his side as it passes, still headed for Allo and Genghis. He roars out, the pieces of the shield falling to the volcano and vanishing instantly.

As Rex is flung through the air, Gohan flickers, appearing behind Kakarot and bringing his sword down vertically to cut him downward from neck to waist. He's hoping to propel the warlord forward into the approaching Rex!

Serori (37) has posed:
EAST GROUP.

Sanary's transport speeds toward the building she's identified to be cleared.

The building itself is wobbly, but not falling over just yet. Cries for help can be heard from several floors. What were these people thinking?! Shouldn't they have been headed to the evacuation point?! Apparently, leaving their homes proves to be too much a task for some Reptilonians. Perhaps gripped by a 'down with the ship' mentality, they've made no efforts to flee until now, with their lives in immediate peril.

The first floor is in good shape; higher up, the damage is more apparent. The higher Sanary climbs in search of Reptilonians, the more damage she runs into. A collapsed ceiling here, a cracked floor there -- it's shaky, all right. At least she's able to get the lower levels cleared without much effort. On the third floor, she faces her first real challenge. "Help!" Someone's muffled voice calls from behind a locked door.

Outside, Glitter works to uncover the buried evacuation craft. Some of the rubble proves to be made of some super-dense form of concrete that's difficult to lift. Her headache's going to be pretty well-earned, tonight! Despite the difficulty, she succeeds in getting the ship uncovered, especially once Gaius arrives to lend a mechanical hand. Though it probably won't be able to fly, their combined efforts still rescue a dozen or more evacuees. These trapped Reptilonians emerge from the ship, and hurry to the next available evacuation craft, skipping past steaming vents as they go.

There's still so much to be done...

The ground rumbles again. Sanary's building trembles dangerously.

A Red-armored Neo Saiyan suddenly streaks past overhead. He lands on a broken rooftop, and from there, starts looking for interesting targets. He doesn't attack -- yet...

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
"Oh no ... no more clones, Kakarot. If you wanna kill me, I'm as real as it gets!" Rex bellows as he is hooked by Allo and FASTBALL SPECIALED at Kakarot.

As the Tyranno king streaks through the air, and over the girder, he fails to see Allo take the hit as he's a little shocked at being slung through the air.

When Kakarot is within 10 yards, Rex slaps his dinovolver and expands in size and shape, kicking his feet out in front of him, they grow and change until it's not an 800 lb Anthro-Dinosaur flying through the air, it's a 20-ton T-Rex flying through the air, hind claws first.

Genghis Rex roars savagely all Jurassic Park style, and speaking of Jurrassic Park, is your name Kaakrot or Muldoon, cause right now you SURE look like Muldoon being savaged by a Velociraptor, only BIGGER. Clever girl? Anyone?

Rebound (750) has posed:
At least she managed to beat them here. It would have been even more of a disaster if the Neo-Saiyans had made it and the guards weren't ready. The massive lava creature is unlike anything she's ever seen before, but she'll take all the help she can get right now.

The explosion of ki from the entrance makes her duck and cover her face with an arm. That one just blew herself up just to get them inside, "Focus fire on targets. They'll kill themselves to finish this mission, we have to do what we can to keep them out of range of the shield generators!"

Getting some advice on the radio from an unexpected source, Rebound moves and plants herself between the Neo-Saiyans and their goal, "There's no reason to do this. Why throw your lives away!? Your boss is on his way out, and I don't want to hurt you, but I will!" The kangaroo flexes her hands, before she clenches them into fists. She motions for the defenders to aim at one particular member of the Neo-Saiyans, while she moves on the other two.

Leaping through the air, she uses her enhanced speed and strength to deliver a powerful flying kick to the first of the Neo-Saiyans, but the intent is to drive them into the ground. She's going to try to grab him by his tail after getting him to the ground and use his tail to throw him into the one that isn't being focused on by the defense group. She also has to keep her eyes open for the fourth one, she knows she counted five.

Serori (37) has posed:
SOUTHWEST GROUP.

Doesn't Lute understand? These Neo Saiyans don't care. Surrender? Hah! Surrender is for weaklings! Surrender is for those who are capable of fear! These Neo Saiyans are the most loyal Kakarot has. Though ordered to go home, they came back to serve him to the end, and no Scary Face is going to stop them from doing that.

Thunder Wave, on the other hand, might be a bit more convincing.

The Blue-armored saiyans are enduring enough to tank through it, but the wave reaches past them to lick at the Green-armored saiyans, too, and these wobble mid-air as their entire bodies freeze up in shock. Several of the weaker Neo Saiyans drop from the sky entirely to land in untidy stunned heaps on the ground near Giratina's feet. These are the weakest to Giratina's Scary Face; as soon as the psychic effect takes hold, they curl up in horror, some shouting in denial. One of the Blue-armored saiyans similarly drops, grabbing onto his own head as he tries to come to terms with what the Pokemon is making him experience.

The effect on the others is much more subtle. They don't become afraid, but they do begin...to doubt.

At least until a Red-armored saiyan flies right for Lute and tries to self-destruct mere inches from his face.

The Red-armored and Green-armored saiyans taking on Cory and Vegeta begin to crack in the face of such a vicious counter-attack. Though gaining some confidence against Cory, the attackers quickly find the tables turned as her massive ki beams sweep through their number, downing Neo Saiyan after Neo Saiyan in destructive blasts. Vegeta's counter-barrage further disrupts their synchronized assault. Some who catch an unlucky direct strike are even blown right out of the air. They all scatter in an instinctive effort to preserve themselves.

It looks like the southwestern region might soon be clear of any danger, but no, not yet. Spreading out wide into a loose circular formation, the Green-armored saiyans suddenly unleash BLINDING flashes of ki energy. A rival for Tien's signature move, maybe? It's no less dazzling, anyway. As the flashes hit, the Blue-armored saiyans move, creating a new front line behind which the Green-armored and Red-armored saiyans can gather up and organize again.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
"Complete idiots... Should've gotten out when the planet first started falling apart." Sanary's definitely doesn't sound amused as she pushes through the building, moving fallen walls and rubbles aside to get some of those trapped Reptilonians out. Sure, she's getting in there to save as many people as she can, but that doesn't mean she has to be happy about it. Especially not with all that shaking going on. That's not reassuring in the least.

Hearing the cries for help from the first door and wall that haven't been knocked over, the healer presses her ear (or the side of her helm, anyway) to the door to try and gauge how close that voice is. "I'll get you outta there! Can you get this unlocked? Mm... If not, stand away from the door!" Withdrawing her gunaxe, she weighs her options and considers the status of her immediate area while waiting for a response. If the door isn't unlocked after a few seconds, she'll give the person inside a few more seconds before just trying to hack the thing open.

It's not exactly the prettiest option, but if the choice is between wrecking the door or waiting for the entire place to collapse on her head? Definitely going to go with the door, especially with all that shaking going on. Again.

Glitter (721) has posed:
Density: Glitter's greatest foe (today).

Superdense materials cause her to mentally stumble for a moment as she tries to lift it and finds it much heavier than expected. She can usually shift it on the second attempt, but have you ever just tried to pick up a bag and found it weighed more than you expected? It's like that.

"C'mon, guys," Glitter says, glad to have revealed the trapped Reptilonians. They don't seem to need to be carried, but she escorts them for a distance - especially when she sees the red-armoured Saiyan in the distance. That gets her to land and jog instead of visibly flying, to avoid attention. She regrets having skipped her jogs for a few days - she usually doesn't need to bother, she can fly!

Glitter doesn't leave them until she is pretty sure they're going to get to the other evacuation craft. It helps that they can handle the environment better than she can; she's got her defensive field on but it's still pretty brutal out there.

Then she does lift off, because speed is more important than secrecy when she's alone - Glitter would rather draw attention and attacks than let loose Neo-Saiyans attack trapped civilians. She's going to meet up with Sanary, though she's going to have a few moments' alone time before Glitter gets there.

And if the Saiyan comes after her... well, Glitter might not /get/ there. She's not going to lead a Saiyan right to Sanary!

Deelel has posed:
Well Deelel's got quit the situation here, mayube she was making the wrong wone? She finds the Syains are coming back and eveyrthing's become a freaking massive furyball nowa s he's under fire. She's not escaping harm, not today as severl blast catch her, there's not quite the normal result of someone getting hit by an attack like that she's got burnn clothing but hte edges are not sinien they just pixalted and redrecced where it couldn't take the damage from the Neo Sayains. She's not out of it yet as she now has her keyblad out and she directs cauysing gutsts of wind hopefully batter the Neo Sayians out of the skies. She dounts it could kill them given how damn hard it is to off a Sayain normally it is.

<<Not sure I got some heat on me right now! I'll see if I can get some help!>>

Vegeta (663) has posed:
"Ugh..." Vegeta covers his eyes, trying to avoid the worst of it. But his top priority is reaching over to grab Cory's shoulder. When he does, she can suddenly feel a rush of ki as he transfers -much- more power than she already had, though he's careful not to, y'know, explode her body.

"Sense them and enter melee. Don't fire beams unless you're sure you can hit them, until you can see again. I'm sure Lute will be fine." He keeps his eyes closed, trying to ram into horde of Neo Saiyans, his energy suddenly rocketing into the second stage of Super Saiyan.

He follows his own orders, trying to break their line and attack any Saiyan who gets near him, even throwing a few with break-neck force. "I am a Saiyan King, do you honestly believe that you can defy me without consequence?! You will not accomplish anything by following Kakarot to a senseless death, destroying yourselves because he's too blind and full of pride to do what's best for his people! The only thing that you'll find here, today, is an honorable death if you do not follow me. This is your -final- chance. If you don't take that offer, then COME GET ME!!!"

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
The three reapers move and the front ends of the Reapers open to blast apart a sizeable building to bring it crashing down, one of them having to slightly hot foot it to not get in the way. They then start to open their machine gun ports along the side to trim down any material, carefully tapping the trigger to make sure they don't trim to much or to little. "How sure are we this thing is going to be secure?" One of them asks.

The other taps the trigger a few more times, "Beats me. Probably have to carefully walk a reaper across it. If it can support the weight of one of these machines..."

"But Lord Van Baelsar said..." He is quickly silence as the other looks to him.

"Would you rather us lose lives trusting us and pay the price for that?"

"No. You are right."

Sadly the three are unaware of the Saiyan who has come into their side of the airspace...

------------

Meanwhile...
The Reaper with Sanary goes on idle as the Garlean hears the cry for help, he also watches as the building sways under the rumble. "That isn't good." He plops back down into the seat and goes to move the Reaper around, before taking aim with two small grappling lines, then putting the Reaper into full reverse, he attempts to use the machine to stabilize the building.

Ignoring the sudden warning beeps and the hiss from the engine as it threatens to over heat. "Hurry up kid..." He silent knows, even as his own teeth clench, this wont really work, but that is why she has that rope and she has been working with Centurion Takane. The Garlean has faith that Sanary can do it!

---------

At the Aircraft....
Gaius motions for people to move and helps those get out who need to do so. He tsks that the craft is not flyable and that leaves what few remain still on their side. With quick steps and giving a chance for his own internal systems to cool down the Ceruleum battery. He moves, but feels the tremble under his feet, including avoiding one vent that about shoot up his heat index again.

He starts to make his way for the nearest Craft when he spots the Saiyan above. He body tenses up about then as he radios on about it. There was a minor clench of his jaw, as he gaze goes to the people, then back behind him which was clear. Then slowly back up to the Saiyan once more. "...Why not." Gaius rumbles to himself as he draws out his Gunblade. "Just like the spar with Serori-- only this one is out to kill you."

The Garlean then lifts up his Gunblade as he shifts the ammo. He hasn't had much sleep and this perhaps is not the smartest move, but better then the alternative he wagers. With a calm holding of his rifle he fires three shots. The bullets fly and on impact explode with a flash of blue.

The Gaius continues to then strife hop back, acting as if trying to move for cover, while firing off a few more rounds. "Come on!" He roars out to the Saiyan! "Face me, unless you are a coward!"

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Kakarot has little to say at the moment as Allo hurls Rex towards him. Under normal circumstances, the sight of a 20-ton T-Rex and a Super Saiyan wrestling in the air would be phenomenal. Nothing Kakarot couldn't handle, but phenomenal.

But not only has he been worn down over time, but he's facing multiple opponents, one of whom he just started pissing off pretty badly. Gohan takes it to the next level just as Kakarot turns to prepare for the incoming Rex. "If you want to come in close to die-WHAT?" He yells, suddenly reaching back and slamming his hands together in a classic blade-grasp maneuver, the hands hitting with the force of a thunderclap as Gohan stopa a fraction of an inch over the back of his neck.

The struggle, however, means Kakarot has no answer prepared for Rex. Rex impacts Kakarot and crates him into the side of the supervolcano, buyring him in red-hot rock. Hissing vents of superheated steam erupt around the impact site. If he was dunked headfirst in magma, could even HE survive?

There is a low rumble, ki leaking out of the cracks in the volcano. The sky writhes and crackles with lightning, surging as terrible forces swirl and draw towards that point... And there is a massive explosion out of the side of the LAva Dome, Kakarot blasting back into Rex's face as he surges with his full power of Super Saiyan level 2. "YOU ARROGANT FOOL! I AM GOING TO BREAK YOU, REX! I AM GOING TO BREAK YOU! AND WHEN YOU LIE HERE, DYING, I AM GOING TO FLY UP TO THAT CARRIER AND RIP IT APART! YOU CAN DIE WATCHING YOUR LIZARD BELOVED DISINTEGRATE IN REENTRY!"

As he speaks, he slams his fists into the T-Rex over and over again, ducking in to try to get under those shrimpy arms and work over the abdomen like a speedbag, except if a speedbag was hitting with the force of a bullet train.

Serori (37) has posed:
FAR EAST GROUP.

Ryxinel's fire breath clashes against barriers made from ki power. Some barriers hold; others are swiftly eroded by the heat. Those that endure survive to shoulder-rush and ki-blast and otherwise assault the dragon, no Neo Saiyan fearful of the mighty beast.

Sidonia's swift stealth slaughters several stinky saiyans. Blood runs from her blades, and from the bodies she leaves in her wake. As she weaves through the crowds, though, she meets an unexpected threat: self-destruction. The Neo Saiyans working all across Reptilon are here to cause as much damage as possible. They have no ticket home, and no interest in surrendering to Serori's and Vegeta's questionable leadership. As they bleed out, they begin to burn up, erupting into dangerous, widespread ki-splosions that could bring harm to Sidonia and her siblings alike.

Even Rhapsody will have to contend against that consequence as she stabs and slashes her way through the saiyan number.

Cell is probably safe from the self-destructs below ground, though that doesn't mean the Neo Saiyans are safe from him, and they know it! After his creepy arrival, Neo Saiyans in the immediate vicinity begin to search for him. Several blasts aimed right at the ground try to punch through the soil to strike at Cell's hiding place below. They become paranoid, almost nervous about sharing their unfortunate brethren's fate.

Between Cell's antics, Ryx's dragonbreath, Rhapsody's dragonbreath, and Sidonia's assassination techniques, these Neo Saiyans have their hands full. Their confidence isn't too shaken, though. They remain determined to succeed; when Dracula emerges from the smoke and dust as a great plate-armored demon, however...

Determination and brute strength turns to grim understanding. The Neo Saiyans throw themselves at Dracula even as the Lord of Darkness cleaves the air with his scythe and fills it with green spears. More than one Neo Saiyan dies sliced in half by Death transformed. More than one Neo Saiyan dies with explosive wounds ripped through his or her body.

Soon enough, the far eastern sector falls silent, the heroes here triumphant...for now.

Gohan (334) has posed:
Gohan winces as the blade is caught, before wrenching the blade from Kakarot before he gets slammed by Rex. "Nice shot, guys!" he calls, sheathing the blade on his waist. His aura flares even higher, bristling as Kakarot... ignores him?! "No you don't!" he calls, rushing after the warlord as he closes in on Rex. As the lightning arcs off Kakarot's aura, Gohan stops. "Are you kidding me...? HE'S ASCENDED?!" The halfbreed bristles, his body tensing. "Damnit all...!" Gohan was not ascended, and seeing his power being outclassed is a shock. He nearly starts falling back nervously, but stops. If he moved out now...

    He would be a coward.

He charges in, drawing his fist back as he does. "DON'T YOU IGNORE ME!" he roars, swinging his fist hard toward Kakarot's spine.

Allo (724) has posed:
It takes Allo a moment to get his thoughts back in order after having his proverbial bell rung, but having the constant chatter over the comm helps keep his wits in order. Being the leader he is he takes a moment to make a few quick responses, mostly to help keep people organized in their defenses and offer a few tidbits of encouragement where needed.

Then Kakarot starts making threats. Yes, that was mainly aimed at Rex by threatening Teryx. But it was aimed at his ship and his crew, his -friends- even more than they were his crew.

Yeah. That shit is not happening.

Okay, it also looks like Rex could use a helping claw as well. Allo picks up his rifle from where it was dropped when he fell, maglocks it to the back of his armor, and sprints back into the fight.

Except what crests over the ridges of the slope instead is a full sized allosaur after hitting his own Dinovolver as he came back into view. "Not today you aren't, Kakarot!" Which turns into a pretty savage sounding growl at the end.

Allo was not as large as the tyrannosaur in his dinovolved form, but instead he had more speed, and a considerablly better ability when it came to jumps and pouncing.

"That's MY rival you're trying to kill there!" Which is exactly what he does, a massive leaping charge aimed to ram Kakarot away from tearing farther into Rex.

"And by the way, archeopteryxes are more akin to avians than lizards."

Rhapsody (325) has posed:
Fire flies, explosions give light to the night, and the trio, assisted by the forces of Castlevania eventaully come out ahead of the saiyan onslaught, though they come with their own scars. Sidonia had clearly caught one or two of the explosions, marks across her form, and especially her back, showing through her stoic stance. One of them had thrown her to the ground, with force. Ryxinel had taken the brunt of firepower aimed at the trio. Scales are shattered, his hide is pierced, dragon's blood touches Reptilon's soil, and yet he still looks ready to roast any saiyan that comes close to him, his siblings, or their allies.

Rhapsody jams her two blades into the ground, leaning against them, to take a breather. A quiet thank you is sent toward Dracula before the guildmaster takes a long look around, wondering what is going to come next. "Maybe we should head back..?"

Cory (768) has posed:
"that move is--" Cory's just a moment too slow. She also throws her arms up and closes both eyes but not quite fast enough to avoid getting EYEZAPPED. She's still hissing and cursing under her breath when Vegeta claps a hand on her shoulder and fills her with a surge of Ki!

She clenches both fists, a bit awed at the sensation... and then takes another 'stance' midair. "Hope you've got a plan then. KAIOKEN TIMES EIGHT!"

Between Vegeta's extra Ki and the Kaioken, Cory's just SURGING with power right now.

    Power... AND SPEED.

Flying while MOSTLY BLIND is a very new experience. Especially straight into conflict, but Cory's hoping that coming at them so confidently might rattle the Neo Saiyans.

Once she nears them though... it's clobbering time! "Huuuuuryaaaa!" Although accuracy leaves a bit to be desired, her speed's improved several times over from the last skirmish. She zips about like a pinball driving elbows, knees, and heels into anything that -doesn't- feel like Vegeta!

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute is, now, simply a normal human. Once, he was able to fill himself with Ki. Once, he was able to power himself up by linking with his Pokemon. Now, though, unless he is actively merged with his Unown? He is simply a human. He does have Unown, hiding under his labcoat. But, his reaction time is too slow to merge with them. The Red-armored Saiyan explodes, right on top of Lute.

Giratina is able to tank it. Gardevoir can divert some from himself with his Psychic powers, though he still recieves a number of burns. Lute himself is burng across the body, and the concussive force nearly sends him flying off Giratina. His body is burnt. His face is bleeding. His labcoat is in tatters, and his pants are torn and burnt. The Unown behind his back are revealed, and the ten of them float into the air behind Lute.

And then Lute rights himself. He is going to end up in medical after this over, due to that hit. But he stands tall. He can see the doubt in the Saiyan's eyes. This is in fact a surprise to him. Is he /finally/ reaching them? He looks at what remains of the exploded Saiyans. And then, he looks at the others. He has to overwhelm them more. Yes, Cory and Vegeta are currently fighting them, pushing against them. But if he can manage to convince them...

There is a glimmer of hope in his eyes. He has to be careful. He motions towards where the suicide bomber was.

"WHAT GOOD DID THAT DO? Did it kill me? NO. It just threw away a life. Do all of you want to just throw away your lives too? Yes. It was heroic. But. He will /no longer/ be able to strive for /new heights./ I do /not/ seek your deaths!"

He clutches at his burnt chest, right around where his heart is. He glares at the group. "COME WITH ME. Ignore Vegeta. Ignore the Confederate. Ignore Kakarot! I /WILL/ help you!"

The pressure around Giratina continues. He's reading some of Lute's cues. A giant surge of energy is coming from him. A massive wave of darkness surrounds the Legendary Pokemon. It is gathering energy for one of its attacks: Shadow Force. It is not going to use it. But, while Lute is appealing to them, trying to convince them he can lead to better? He'll appeal to their fear. Even the Raichu and Gardevoir are gathering their own power, using Charge and Calm Mind to increase their own gathered level of power.

Lute doesn't even care about the burst of light. Partially because blood is blocking his eyes at the moment. His Pokemon are having more problems with it. But still, they are preparing. And if a /single/ Saiyan moves in for an attack on Lute again, they /will/ show their power.

Serori (37) has posed:
LAVA DOME.

Rebound does the unexpected.

Throwing herself full-bore into one of the Neo Saiyans results in the Blue-armored fellow toppling over beneath her weight. Though he'd been keeping an eye on the other defenses, he had nothing prepared to resist such a direct melee confrontation. The consequence, of course, is that his tail -- his TAIL! -- is yanked into Rebound's grip. His dignity's further crushed by the twirl-and-toss that follows; he collides with his fellow Green-armored companion, and the two go down together.

The defenders follow Rebound's lead. Their fire fixates on the third Neo Saiyan in the entry, who answers by drawing on a surprising reservoir of strength and popping into Super Saiyan transformation. As a Super Saiyan, the Neo Saiyan presents a huge and potentially dangerous target. He might not have much strength for sustaining the transformation, though. If Rebound can hold out long enough...

He crosses his arms before his face, and takes slow steps forward, fighting against the massive weapons aimed at him, as well as the undulations beneath his feet as Roko tries to upset his balance.

The shield generator isn't so far away...

Where's the fifth Neo Saiyan?

Punch by punch, blast by blast, the fifth Neo Saiyan digs her way through the walls and rubble mounds surrounding the Lava Dome's heart. She emerges near the ceiling, in good position to drop down and surprise Rebound AND the defenders.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Kakarot's speed and size at close range is a huge advantage for him as he zips around the massive prehistoric beast, blasting at his ribcage with a flurry that is almost too fast to see. Rex has no choice other than to take it, flailing those tiny arms, staggering backwards with each devastating hit.

There are a handful of satisfying cracks and kakarot pulverizes a couple of Rex's ribs in the assault. The real pain comes from a few well placed strikes to the burn wound in the center of his chest that hasn't fully healed yet. Zuki's parting gift seems to be a gift that keeps on giving.

However, Kakarot's words are not lost on the Tyranno King and something snaps inside him. As Gohan and Allo engage Kakarot and allo Rex a breather, the world around him goes completely red as rage suddenly drowns out the rest of the world around him. He ONLY sees one thing, He ONLY sees Kakarot and he lunges his 20-ton form forward, barreling through anything between he and the Saiyan King, his jaws snapping with purpose and ferocity!

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
The saiyans fall like wheat before Death's scythe, and Dracula gives a low, rumbling chuckle of approval. Content that their assailants have fallen, he hoists the weapon Death has become in his hands and turns his burning dragon's stare to Rhapsody and her fellows. "Gaius calls for aid," his voice rumbles. "Some people are still trapped. Come if you wish; go find another task if not."

Great wings beat a hurricane toward the ground and send Dracula soaring toward the group attempting to spare those at the East region. His black shadow soars over Gaius, Sanary, and Glitter, and a moment is taken high above to analyze the situation. With his current form, combat seems the most likely task ahead of him, especially in case that lone saiyan decides to send for reinforcements.

And so, in a few moments, Gaius has the towering figure of the great demon of blood and shadow looming behind him like the harbinger of death, staring down the lone saiyan in preparation for more. He hovers, of course, for the ground looks too unstable to support his great size without risk, though he does cast a glance toward Sanary. That building just might crumble soon enough; he may need to intercept there, too, if no more Neo-Saiyans come.

Rebound (750) has posed:
Rebound had been trying to keep tabs on where the fifth one might be, but there's so much going on, the roar of the lava below, the hum of the generators, the chatter of the defensive fire. Rebound suddenly feels a rock drop from above her, catching her in the head and knocking her down. She goes down and rolls over to one side, as she looks up from her back and spots the fifth, the female, "Change target! Get her!" She yells from the ground, as she shifts her weight and kips back up onto her feet. Blood runs down the side of her head from where the stone hit her, and she's a bit dazed, but she can't give up just because the might have a mild case of severe brain damage.

Now back on her feet, she moves to defend the defenders as they'll change targets, getting between herself and the glowing, power radiating Super Saiyan, "Alright dude." She's no small fighter, and she's going to do what she can to keep him back. She has one thing left up her sleeve, "You and me, lets do this. Hey big dragon guy, get the girl!" She yells at Roko, hoping that the big lava monster can hear her.

Back to the Neo-Saiyan. If he gets past her, he'll get to the generator because everyone else will be busy with the fifth one. She wipes some of the blood off with her taped forearm, and then shifts her stance, holding up a hand towards him, turning it palm up, and motioning for him to come on and get her, "If you paid somebody for that haircut, you better hire a lawyer and sue them, because you got ripped off."

She's really hoping the taunt will get him to run straight at her, because she has a plan. As soon as he gets within range, she's going to fall backwards onto her tail and drive forward with both feet, to deliver a kick which she once used to knock a truck over directly into his sternum.

Of course if he decides to just ki-blast her from where he's standing, she's probably pretty screwed.

Serori (37) has posed:
NORTH GROUP.

The wrong move? Maybe not, Deelel. The Keyblade is a powerful tool, especially so in the hands of a proper Chosen. Winds rip through the Green-armored Neo Saiyans, turning their flight unsteady. This leaves them open to the passing fire from more factional flyers. The Neo Saiyans drop one by one, smoking and lifeless. If not dead before they hit the ground, they're certainly killed by the impact -- that's a huge fall for anyone, saiyan or no.

Deelel's call for help also gets the attention of someone who can lend a proper hand. Wielding powerful magics, someone in a Union uniform gets below the aircraft's busted engine, and provides the necessary propulsion to keep the craft alive. Deelel will need to stay aboard a bit longer to fend off any attackers, but soon enough, her evacuation line escapes to the safety of the main fleet providing secure escort to the nearest warp gate.

Job's done!

Serori (37) has posed:
EAST GROUP.

There's a reason why firefighters carry axes! Sanary has exactly the right idea. She uses her weapon to bust down the door, only to discover a place in ruin. The apartment occupied by this Reptilonian has collapsed beneath the weight of the floor above. The occupant himself is stuck beneath much of that rubble. It's difficult to assess his situation, but he looks to be in bad shape -- there's a lot of blood across his scaled snout. "Help me!" he calls out again. "Please! I can't move my legs or anything!"

Enter Glitter. HEROIC FANFARE! Glitter's able to get right into the same apartment by virtue of the fact that the wall's also kinda punched out and crumbling. A few telekinetic hefts gets her access to where Sanary's struggling to save the Reptilonian by her lonesome. Looks like some teamwork is needed --

Oh, hey, look out.

A ki blast comes streaking into the apartment right behind Glitter! Seems that Red-armored saiyan noticed her flight. Though the resulting blast isn't likely to be fatal for Sanary or Glitter, that Reptilonian is already seriously hurt! The gaping hole in the building lights up yellow as the ki blast makes its final approach.

Gaius is in position to see that ki blast flying toward Sanary's building. He'll easily be able to track it to its source -- that Red-armored Neo Saiyan. He's prepping another ki blast in one hand, while his other hand sends another blastwave roaring toward the demolitions team.

Soon, he's not alone. Green-armored and Blue-armored saiyans in a small squadron of four move into the area, dropping through the skies to aid their Red-armored friend in tearing shit up. The Blue-armored saiyans target the evacuation craft with their bare hands. The Green-armored start spooling up long-range attacks.

Serori (37) has posed:
DRACULA will find himself arriving at the east evacuation point just as the Neo Saiyans do, too. He'll be certain to draw their attention in moments. He's kind of hard to miss.

Serori (37) has posed:
One other addendum for the east-side crew --

Gaius takes aim at the Red-armored saiyan. He squeezes off his rounds, roars out his challenge -- only for one of the newly-arrived Blue-armored saiyans to swerve into perfect place to protect his weaker ally. The Blue-armored Neo Saiyan's body shakes with multiple impacts. Bleeding wounds erupt through his armor. All he does is smirk, and charge Gaius head-on.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Against any one of these foes in this condition, Kakarot would dominate, perhaps. But part of how you kill a monster... Is gathering a hunting party. Rex, Allo, and Gohan form an unlikely team to wolfpack, working together and taking advantage of their specialties to try to strike Kakarot at every turn. Kakarot's SSJ2 aura sizzles and crackles, wildly unstable like a candle in a storm. He has been burning himself too hot, too fast. Gohan slams into his back, causing him to arch his back. The response is instant as his tail lashes up to grapple Gohan around the neck, strangling tightly. "And why should I pay attention to you, Gohan? You've been singularly unimpressive. You said you're supposed to be my son from another version of myself? What kind of pathetic result was that? How defective was I in that world to get a result like /you/? You're an insult to your heritage!"

That's about when Allo shuts him the hell up, the dinovolved allosaurus pounces on him, ripping him away from Gohan and slamming him into the surface of the Lava Dome volcano, digging another deep furrow as he is dragged through the hot rock and magma drippings. He screams in pain, struggling for a moment with the pinning claws before he pushes /upward/, huring Allo aside and lunging to grab for Allo's tail, pulling on it painfully to swing it and hurl Allo in his own Fastball Special, sending him flying towards Gohan!

However, there's still the matter of an extremely angry T-Rex. The massive beast slams into Kakarot, biting into him and tearing, ripping with beastial fury. Blood stains the rocks of the Lava dome, smoking and steaming. But when Rex tries to chomp down once more, Kakarot sticks out his arms... And catches the massive jaws in his hands, forcing power against power to keep those teeth from cleaving him in half. "You..." Kakarot hisses... "You can't win this..." He says, before he strains and hurls the T-Rex to the side, slamming it into the ground and letting go. Instantly, he grabs for the huge neck of the Dinovolved Genghis, pulling him high into the air and forcing him to hang. T-Rexes don't fly. Saiyans do.

"Are you angry, Genghis? Do you understand the rage of being powerless? Good. Remember that as you /burn/."

He turns, hoisting up the massive beast in his arms as he hangs over the bubbling, molten lake of churning magma that the Lava Dome has become, and /hurls/ Rex down towards the lava. Nothing could possibly survive that.

As Rex falls, Kakarot turns back to the pair. "And then there were two." He says, ominously.

Glitter (721) has posed:
The wall's punched out, it's crumbling, and of course Glitter flies; getting into a building is not really a problem for her, and honestly it's not going to damage the building any /worse/ if she accidentally slams into it.

Glitter appears near Sanary. "Hi!" she says, and starts to do what she can - her original plan was to support the floor by holding it up and then help Sanary, but the sudden glow gets her attention. She whirls, turning toward the ki blast, still in the hole where she entered the building. Oh, this is going to hurt...

Glitter puts up a layer of force in front of her, a wall of glittering light. It shatters when the ki bolt hits it anyway, because Glitter is not the best at shielding things that aren't her; she does what she can anyway, hunkering down and trying to protect Sanary and the Reptilonians with her shielded body even as it slams her backwards, exploding mere inches from her flesh!

"Urgh..." Dazed by the blast, Glitter thrusts her hand out, and a veritable wave of sparkles erupts away from the building; she's not trying to kill the Saiyan, but the shockwave is likely to bowl him over and maybe interrupt any other attacks. Sending people flying is a pretty good defensive tactic...

...especially when you follow it up by squeezing your hand, causing the cloud to condense and compress around the Neo-Saiyan, Glitter trying to hold him still in midair! "Can you get the Reptilonian?" she calls at Sanary; she can multitask but doing it so many ways is just asking for him to escape. And if there are more coming, this is not going to be a feasible plan for ever.

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
Gaius watches as the Saiyan blasts a ki shot right into the Building Sanary is in. His gold eyes go wide behind the helm, before he roars out over the com, "Sanary!" He /really/ didn't want to explain to his most active of Centurion officers that her possible interest just was fried by a Saiyan.

He watches as the Saiyans move in and then one defend their weaker comrade. His body tenses up slightly, but takes slight comfort in Dracula's own presence arriving. A man should cower to the real firepower that has shown up, but for him right now-- it really is a comfort and honestly one he isn't all to unfamiliar with... given he hangs around another Vampire that could /very/ easily twist his own mind if she wanted.

"Sir." Gaius says in calm respect, before taking note of the Saiyan coming his way. With a hard push off of his foot, he goes to meet the Saiyan dead on. Each step accelerates the next, as he readies the Heirsbane in hand, waiting for the right time to swing.

With a leap off the ground, he curves back the sword and then swings his arm to cleave the Saiyan charging right for him. If he misses the timing, this could be a very painful result of having the blue armored warrior smashing right into him and he isn't really sure how well the Magitek Suit will hold up to charging Saiyan out for blood...

But hey. This is a good time to find out!

----

The the three Reapers get the building prepped and one of them goes to move the Reaper out onto it. The machine makes very careful steps as the pilot goes gentle on the controls. Any sign of the building giving away from this attempt-- he is so going to bail out!

Deelel has posed:
Deelel :is still learning to get the idea of how much she cna do and she's thinking that she might have over done it, then gain she seemed to set up the regular force quite nicely. She also see sshe was able to get some more help as well. What's the term? She owes few people drinks later, she takes note of any unit IDs and such. She keeps aboard to fend off any remaining attackers but once everything is done here? She'll get off take her jet and now move away now heading for the eastern sector as fast as her light jet can go!

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
As Rex falls, his rationality slowly returns to him. It's as if the world has suddenly gone into slow motion. He's falling, the raging heat of the lava below comes rushing up at him. He reverts back to his base form, his claw stabbing frantically at his dinovolver as it reappears on his breast. A crimson glow encases him just as he slashes into the motel rock that churns below.

From the crater, there is only ominous silence.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
"Hey, Glitter. Let's get this guy outta here, eh?" Grinning in recognition at Glitter, Sanary moves quickly to start working on getting that rubble off the Reptilonian. "Steady breaths. It'll be okay. Just relax, and me and Glitter'll get you outta this just fine." Even with all the dirt, grogginess, and fatigue showing on both the healer's face and on her armor, she still manages a somewhat confident grin to try and reassure the trapped civilian.

And then that ki blast explodes right behind them. Throwing herself on top of the injured Reptilonian, the healer bites back a cry of pain as the force of the explosion hits her. Even with the armor, Glitter's barrier, and Glitter's own body saving her from being outright obliterated, the sheer force going of the blast is still enough to reopen the wounds from hitting the tank just a few days ago while also cracking several ribs.

"... S-see? Just fine?" Despite forcing that grin through considerable pain and coughing up blood (probably right into that Reptilonian's face), the healer starts channelling her energy into his head and legs to try and repair whatever damage he received from the collapse.

"I got him-blrk." More blood. Still, if the Reptilonian can manage to get out of the building on his own after the healing attempt, that'll make it easier for her and Glitter to focus on joining the others in warding off the newly arrived Neo-Saiyans.

Serori (37) has posed:
SOUTHWEST GROUP.

Lute's impassioned speech rings in the ears of the doubt-stricken Neo Saiyans. Not understanding their doubt is a product of psychic manipulation, they're especially vulnerable to his suggestions. They look as one to the few remains of their self-destructed friend. They look back to Lute, and hear his claims of offering help without Vegeta or Serori to interfere with their misguided ideals. They look to one another as if seeking answers from their own number. What do they do? What should they do?

One of the Blue-armored saiyans cold-clocks a doubt-ridden saiyan right across the jaw. "GET AHOLD OF YOURSELF! He can't give you anything! He can't take you home again, or give you your pride! The only pride you'll find is beside your king! FOR KING KAKAROT! FOR THE KING!!"

All but a pair of smaller Neo Saiyans rally, and rejoin the assault. Of the Neo Saiyans who fall back -- either still struck by horror, or giving into their doubts thanks to Lute's nudging -- quite a few try to quit the field before their allies notice.

One of them is caught in a Red-armored grip. That one is held up as an example. "FOR KING KAKAROT!" The Red-armored Neo Saiyan fires a ki blast right through the chest of her traitorous brethren. The ki blast arcs toward Lute.

Only for Cory to knock it aside in her high-speed routine. Like a pinball, indeed! She bounces from target to target at speeds even she has trouble controlling. With that kind of momentum and the power of the Kaioken to give her strength, she has no trouble wrecking some Neo Saiyan shit. Bones break, bodies double, muscles tear, endurance wanes --

It's the perfect setup for Vegeta. He doesn't even have to move very far to find his next target -- Cory flings them his way. More Neo Saiyan corpses litter Reptilon's surface, left there by the King of the Saiyans himself. There is no room for mercy in this war!

The dead are only outnumbered by the wounded. If Lute acts quickly, he might able to secure living prisoners. If he doesn't -- in just a moment, these will all be nothing more but living bombs...

Gohan (334) has posed:
Gohan snarls, then his air is cut off, Kakarot moving to strangle him with his tail. The halfbreed flails, struggling against the incredibly strong tail of his alt-U father. As Kakarot berates him again, he struggles less and less. And then he does the wrong thing. He insults Goku. He insults Gohan on a level that is far too personal, and Gohan stops struggling. He's knocked aside by Allo's body, tumbling through the air and recovering. His eyes... they're blank. Empty. Soulless. He can feel the tenuous grip on his rage slipping, but he doesn't struggle to resuppress it.

Instead, he gives himself over to it. The primal, unyielding rage of the Saiyans still lives inside the halfbreed. Usually tempered by his human logic, it is allowed to rampage in full force. "You've insulted my mother!" his voice rings clear over the din, though his voice sounds flat. "You've insulted me. These things, I can handle." He begins to quake, body shaking as lightning begins to split the sky. His aura flickers, charged by the storm above.

"But then... you insult my father. You insult Son Goku. A man who died to save everything he strived for." As Rex is thrown into the volcano, Gohan's eyes light back up, panic in his eyes. "You hurt my friends... and now you've killed my ally?!"

His body tenses, more lightning streaking into his aura. His hair begins to grow into vicious points, looking like a tall and glorious crown upon his head. A single strand falls across his face, flashing back and forth between states. "THERE IS NO MORE TIME FOR WORDS! YOU WILL DIE!"

He roars out in primal rage, his power shaking the ground around them. Rocks rise into the air as the halfbreed lets go of everything. His cry is amplified by the lightning now arcing all around him, and his hair stands fully on end. As his eyes rivet back toward Kakarot, there is nothing but hatred. Rage. Anger. Unbridled and allowed to turn upon a warlord.

    Gohan... has ascended.

He flickers out of existence, reappearing before Kakarot, sword in his hand. It glows blue with Kamehameha energy, and he points it wordlessly toward Kakarot. Well... Almost.

"You will take no more from me!"

However, he doesn't fire, the surge of battle holding him back.

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
Dracula doesn't have much time to grapple with the situation. Between the many Neo-Saiyans that've arrived, he has more than enough of a handful to deal with. Red, Blue, and Green Neo-Saiyans arrive and start assaulting a wide variety of targets, all of which are important; where, then, should Dracula start?

    Well, maybe most of them.

The biggest issue right now is the group of Blues assaulting the evacuation craft, and so that's where Dracula's focus begins. A brief nod of acknowledgement is all he has time to give Gaius before he pulls back the great scythe in his hands. "Death, my old friend," he snaps, wings flapping to lift him up higher, "I hope your aim remains as true as ever! Fly, and tear down their souls!"

With a great snarl, Dracula hurls the scythe toward the Blue saiyans. It seems on a course to tear right through the evacuation craft, but Death is more careful than that: as the scythe spins through the air in a reaping whirl, it turns and banks just enough to barely avoid the evacuation craft and instead cut down the Blue saiyans. If the reaper misses them, it's hardly an issue; like a homing boomerang, he merely comes back for another pass, cleaving through the air to deliver the inescapable eventuality of death.

That, at least, should help take care of the Blues. The Greens, however, are their own threat, one that Dracula's next wingbeat sends him flying toward. With a roar, his fists and claws come pummeling toward the Greens, pulsing veins of blood mist trailing with every punch and kick to throb in midair for a few moments before splattering to the ground. Like the demon he resembles, his assault is savage and brutal; little is restrained in his blows, each strike delivered as if he were one of the saiyan's own oozaru, possessed by a a wrathful demon and /bellowing/ all the while.

Rhapsody (325) has posed:
After a breather, Rhapsody seems ready to head to the EAST, however, Ryxinel remembers something said earlier. "They're after the shields!" Rhapsody and Sidonia don't even second guess this and are quick to actually hop onto their brother's back. After they do, the trio take to the air, headed straight for Lava Dome in hope to help Rebound and anyone else in the Volcano. Along the way, however, the three take notice of something. Something they did not expect to see.

As Kakarot yells, and Rex is sent down into the volcano below, there's actually a shocked cry from Rhapsody. After the losses that had happened already, this was the one person she did not expect to fall. Not in the final battle, not on Reptilon, and not to Kakarot. With so many fighting, and the power of Kakarot clear, when Ryxinel turns to have them all attack the Neo-Saiyan leader, Rhapsody actually steers him back toward Lava Dome. "The planet is more important, you know it's what he'd want!" Begrudgingly, Ryx turns and they continue to fly for the Lava Dome.

Allo (724) has posed:
Teamwork was one of Allo's specialties. You take the parts everyone can contribute and mesh them into a coherent whole, and try to do so in a way that at least helps accomidate for the weaknesses between them. Even when it was his lifelong rival and a saiyan he knew little about, there was something as much command instinct as it was practice skill in the way he could use it to give all of them an attempt at an advantage.

That doesn't do too much about the fact that Kakarot manages to grab him by the tail before he can move out of range after the latest rush of attacks. Despite still being considerably smaller the powered up form is more than strong enough to heft the larger carnosaur off the ground and fling him through the air. However once he's let go Allo is able to at least flip himself around and purposely unbalance his weight so he falls short of actually slamming into Gohan, instead purposely taking a face-first crash into the rocky terrain of the super-volcano instead of risking burying one of his allies in the fight under his saurian bulk.

That said it still takes the full sized allosaur a little longer to situate himself to get his feet back on the ground and his not-as-small-as-a-T-Rex arms into a position to push himself back up.

Just in time to see Kakarot fling the tyrannosaur form -into- the volcano. "REX!"

Let's just take a moment here for a reminder. It has always been -rare- to see Allo mad. Even when dealing with the worst the Tyrannos could throw out, Allo kept his cool and dealt with the matter with persistance and patience.

So it says a lot when Allo hauls himself upright and outright roars "KAKAROOOT!" as loudly as his primal form can reach, and then lunges towards Kakarot as if to rush him.

Except while extremely pissed off Allo is NOT giving into the rage entirely. His mentallity was still more practical than that. The rush towards Kakarot comes up short in a surprise feint, as Allo instead digs in with his feet and spins around to put that momentum instead into PUMMEL Kakarot with his tail instead.

Serori (37) has posed:
LAVA DOME.

Rebound sure is pretty bold, going up against a Super Saiyan by herself...

The taunt causes the Super Saiyan to snarl in irritation. "What would you know about style, you filthy beast!" he snaps back -- right before he starts to charge forward to deliver what he thinks'll be a fatal blow. He's fast, especially as empowered as he is, and his pace is so swift he's almost a blur. Rebound's going to have to time things just right!

At the same instant, the defenders swivel their weaponry around to aim toward the ceiling, where the Neo Saiyan female is moving into position to strike the shield generators. Unfortunately, because of her position directly above the generators, any fire on her location could prove to be dangerous to the generators below! "Hold fire!" the captain of the line shouts. "Keep your aim on the target -- get ready to shoot as soon as she moves!"

Roko moves first. Spiraling up from the ground in a gout of viscous magma, the leviathan roars toward the ceiling, beaked maw open to snap at the Neo Saiyan. The magma sticking to his body hardens into plates of armor that resist her retaliatory ki strikes. A few begin to flake off, just as his maw gets close to snapping down on the prize!

A swift KICK from the Neo Saiyan sends him recoiling in surprise. The armor on his beak shatters away, but he's still momentarily dazed.

Wingbeats fill the air with their rushing sound.

Feet race across the cavern floor, the cadence driving toward Rebound. Rebound leans back on her tail, kicks forward with all her might --

"UGGWAAAUGH!" The Super Saiyan goes flying backwards -- only to come to a sudden, painful halt against Ryxinel's scaled hide. Rhapsody and Sidonia are the next the charge into the scene.

The Neo Saiyan near the ceiling is seemingly the last-remaining threat. Roko coils up beneath her, preparing to lunge out another strike. The Neo Saiyan, meanwhile, starts an earth-shaking yell that fills the entire cavern with her shrieking rage.

She dives toward the generators as her body starts to ignite like a bomb.

The Super Saiyan whips around to deliver a two-fisted strike to Ryx's chest, then spins again to fire another blast toward Rebound. By now, she might be ready to react to that kinda thing!

Lute (188) has posed:
A massive burst of rage fills Lute. A ferocity he has not felt for some time. He can't remember the last time he was this angry. They had a chance to live. They were willing to retreat. They were /willing/ to listen to him. This is the strongest, most devestating rage Lute has ever felt.

It is taking /everything/ he has to hold back his rage. As he hears of Rex's death, it becomes even harder. But he can't give in. Or else he'll go berserk. Or else he'll start leading his Pokemon on a rampage to kill /everything/ here. Enemy and ally alike. He can not fall into his Berserk personality right now.

He planned to kill as few as possible tonight. Hell, he was planning to kill no one. But, there is one Saiyan who he /must/ kill. He can not live with himself if he let him live. His Pokemon know Lute well enough to know his emotions now as well. Such is the bond of Pokemon and their trainers.

"YOU PSYCHOTIC MURDERER! LET YOUR PEOPLE LIVE! DON'T KILL THEM FOR DISOBEYING YOUR OWN IDEALS, LIKE EXPENDABLE SLAVES!"

Giratina bursts forward. Its body is a pure engine of death right now. Its covered in the energy of the Distortion Realm, the dark place that provides support for the reality of the Pokemon World. Every ounce of its body is death, and as it moves to the Red Armored Saiyan. Aiming to kill her. Vaporize her completely, with the incredible force of the Distortion World.

And during this dash, Lute grabs at the Saiyan who was shot through, trying to grab them and start holding them close to himself. He gives a look of rage towards the Blue-Armored Saiyan who punched another. And he glares at every Saiyan who might show /any/ hint of hurting one of their own allies.

His Gardevoir gets to work. Using its Psychic powers, he starts to lift the unconcious Saiyans onto Giratina's back. Piling the up, and trying to keep them supported on Giratina's back with psychic powers.

     Lute stands. Glaring again. Shouting.

"NOW. Does /anyone else/ want to do something stupid? Kill someone for /no reason/? Basically do /all of the things/ Kakarot is accusing /everyone else/ of doing? Or will at least /some/ of you join me? HELL. If Kakarot wants anyone who defects /killed/, what does that make you? STAND. BE STRONG."

A glare all around. "THE NEXT ONE WHO LAUNCHES AN ATTACK AT THEIR ALLY DIES. I will stop you before you even have a chance/ to hurt those who want to listen to me!"

Rhapsody (325) has posed:
The trio arrive, Ryxinel has a super saiyan smashing his chest, and the other two decide it's a good time to let their brother not have so much weight to carry around. Being struck by a super sayian isn't fun, as shown by him slamming to the ground after the hit. The sisters, however, are not frightened by this! Instead, they're emboldened. Sidonia slips to the shadows while Rhapsody's first move is to draw her red spell-blade and fires a charge of lightning at the saiyan, then another, and another, and she keeps firing until the blade runs dry. She's hoping that keeping the super sayian electrified will give her brother and sister time to move into a better position!

Ryxinel would act next. Thrown to the ground hurt, certainly, but as he shifts into his smaller form, he unleashes all of the tech that he had brought along toward the saiyan. It's also a -lot- of electricity. Far more than what Rhapsody had. Sidonia would be the one to act last. With a pair of daggers in each hand, the silent sister lunges from above, thanks from a beat of wings, to come down at the saiyan, trying to drive the daggers into either of their shoulders before dropping to land by her brother.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
The screams of anger and despair are Kakarot's answer. He hangs there, apparently unfeeling. He doesn't gloat quite like Frieza. Perhaps he isn't that heartless?

No, wait, he just tried to exterminate a planet, he's pretty up there.

"Just on the edge. Is that all it took?" Kakarot says, looking up at the fury of Super Saiyan Level 2 Gohan. "Your power is strong... But is it enough? I don't think you understand, even now, what this means- Huh? YOU'RE STILL HERE?"

The last is yelled at Allo, who engages in a rampant strike, trying to gain vengeance for his fallen compatriot. Kakarot turns, prepared for yet another blind charge of rage, but Allow shows that he is indeed not Genghis Rex. the feint causing him to overextend just enough for Allo to slam him with his tail, the impact sending him blasting straight into one side of the supervolcano and out the other, trailing magma and ki as two more spouts of lava erupt from the volcano. He screams in pain from the impact, from cooling stone flaking off of him. Were he not surrounded in a repulsive ki aura, he may very well have shared Rex's fate.

"You.... You FOOLS!" Kakarot screams, rising up. "I HAVE NOT TAKEN FROM YOU ENOUGH, GOHAN! ALLO!" Kakarot shouts, his voice echoing. "IF YOU FAIL HERE, AFTER EXTERMINATING THE PEOPLE OF THIS WRETCHED PLANET, I WILL TAKE ONE OF THESE SHIPS, AND FLY TO YOUR EARTH, WHEREUPON I WILL ERADICATE EVERY LIVING BEING UPON IT."

He begins glowing like a dull star as he gathers his own ki, preparing a devastating attack as he charges up. "DO YOU HEAR ME, GOHAN!? EVERYTHING YOU CARE ABOUT, EVERYTHING YOU LOVE WILL /DIE/."

Rebound (750) has posed:
As she feels her feet impact the Saiyan and send him flying, she gets a sudden sensation of relief. The sudden stop of the Super Saiyan makes Rebound realize somebody has shown up to help. As soon as the draconic trio arrives, Rebound immediately turns to move back to the last one. That's going to be the only threat left. She growls under her breath, "Filthy beast. You're the beasts. All of you, attacking this planet because some jackass told you to! Why?! You're throwing your lives away for nothing!"

Her eyes lock up onto the last of the Saiyans, the guards holding their fire to prevent hurting the generators. When she starts to scream, Rebound moves, only to catch a shot in the back from the Super Saiyan. She stumbles, but doesn't fall. She can't fall, not now. She jumps and lands below the Saiyan as she dives down, starting to glow. Rebound closes her eyes for a moment, and then puts everything she has into her legs and jumps.

The plan is simple. Dumb, but simple. She's going to crash right into the Saiyan and use her momentum to push the Saiyan back up into the hole through the Lava Dome. The kangaroo knows she probably won't survive this attempt, but if she doesn't do it, then she fails. Failure is not an option, not this time.

EAST GROUP.

Out to the east, Reptilon lets loose yet another horrible rumble. The chasm through the center of the suburb threatens to widen out, but holds together, and the makeshift bridge spanning its gap also holds as Gaius's men test its capacity. The evacuees on the chasm's far side are urged to hurry across the bridge before the advantage is lost!

Gaius, meanwhile, throws himself into direct conflict with the arriving Neo Saiyans. The Blue-armored fellow proves eager to test the magitek suit's might, even after his rib cage is exposed by Heirsbane's deadly edge. Laughing an insane laugh, he closes in, delivering punch after punch toward Gaius's torso.

He isn't the only Neo Saiyan to go after the Garlean general, either. Recognizing the fun their fellow is having, two other Neo Saiyans close in. Ki blasts fly and more melee strikes land. Heirsbane may take off an arm, but that only fuels the fatalistic rage giving these Neo Saiyans their superhuman endurance. The de-armed saiyan lunges forward to take Gaius out in a self-destructive blast of power.

Dust and smoke overcomes the general's position.

Meanwhile, Sanary sees to the care of the Reptilonian she and Glitter have just rescued. Though suffering her own wounds, she generously gives her healing power to the Reptilonian, whose own injuries prove severe. Finally, he gets to his shaky feet, and hobbles from the wrecked apartment to join the evacuation in progress.

That leaves both girls free to rejoin the fight -- especially since Dracula's just seen to that Red-armored fellow outside the building. The poor Neo Saiyan goes down in a flurry of black wings as Dracula charges into the fray.

His scythe cuts a silver arc through the massed Blue-armored saiyans. More than one drop into bloody ruin, their limbs and guts littering the ground. Death makes a sharp, decisive weapon, and resilient; however, on his second pass, the surviving Neo Saiyans are more ready to respond. They scatter, trying to present multiple targets instead of one cluster. Death cuts through the one, and then must contend against the hands and ki blasts looking to bend him into useless paperclip shape.

Dracula's fearsome roars cover the emergence of Glitter and Sanary. He faces countless ki blasts head on as he seeks to savage the Green-armored coalition into bloody gibs. Glitter and Sanary, meanwhile, will have their next task in sight -- what's just happened to Gaius?

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:

The air around the super volcano's crater suddenly sparks with a strange sort of red static, then gleaming red lightning arcs out of the smoldering maw and streaks straight up into the sky.

The air in the immediate vicinity suddenly becomes thick and 'heavy' as if a sudden rush of humidity had suddenly rolled in from nowhere. Lava spills over the side of the crater and runs down the side of the mountain's cone, but the keen eye will notice something jagged and glowing peaks out and seems to have caused the lava to spill over.

Two more glowing shards reach over the crater's lip, then more, lava dripping from them. Now it's clear, these are claws ... massive titanic claws. Wings, seemings made of molten rock unfurl up out of the cone, followed by the great head of a gargantuan dragon that would make Smaug feel a little inferior (as if that were possible).

The surface of this great horror explodes with raw power, it's 'scales' seeming to explode and recreate themselves over and over again. The lava the beast rises out of seems to have partially merged with it, as the molten death sills forth from it, with every movement. The creature moves unnaturally, as if it's swimming in the air itself while the atmosphere around it, erupts in fire and magma.

Is it Genghis Rex or was it Reptilon itself striking out at the being who has hurt it so. One thing's is for certain though, as the beast focuses it's eyeless molten sockets on Kakarot. It has a target.

The beast opens it's great maw and a deluge of magma explodes forth, torrenting through the air, at the Saiyan king, a spiralling cone of liquid fire and death, burning down anything in it's path.

(Hi everyone, like my new look? DcVhDrm.jpg)

Allo (724) has posed:
"No, Kakarot, you haven't." Having vented some of his anger in that strike Allo is mostly back to his usual composure, though there is a definate cold hardness to his controlled tone that isn't normally there. A certain edge that is normally not present. "And you won't, either. You may of broken our planet.. But you will -never- break the spirit of her people. Nor will you get the chance t--"

And that is when -something- erupts out of the volcano in a tremendous fit of rage. What the hell -was- that?

More importantly, there is magma spewing -everywhere-, even if most of the turmoil is directed at Kakarot. Allo makes a powerful leap in the other direction and then de-dinovolves mid-air once he's clear of the spray, hitting the ground in a rough tumble and roll that eventually brings him back up onto his knees, grabbing the ground with one hand to stabilize himself. Peers up at the monster again for a moment. "It's huge, it's pissed off, and it interrupted my dramatic rebuttal."

A faint hint of humor does manage to seep back into his tone.

"It -has- to be Genghis Rex. Somehow."

Vegeta (663) has posed:
"Cory, cover me! Lute, you too if you aren't insane right now!" Vegeta doesn't know -what's- going on with Lute, he has been gone for a while after all.

He suddenly descends to the ground, then holds his hand out. If it wasn't for the senzu bean, he'd be completely incapable of this, but now... He starts to charge an attack, an extremely bright sphere of energy forming in front of his hand. He's aiming it up at the Saiyans, but he hasn't released it yet.

Considering just -how- much light emits from it, and the sheer level of power radiating out of it, this is -no- ordinary attack. "I've had enough of this. I've had enough of watching my people fight a senseless battle, enough of watching you kill yourselves and each other. When I release this attack, most of you are likely to lose your lives! I am a Saiyan king, and I will give you -one last chance-, only -one-, because beyond this point, there will be nothing! Don't be foolish... don't force me to release this!"

Cory (768) has posed:
While Vegeta might be fighting rather lethally, Cory isn't - she aims to disable, incapcitate, and cripple - broken bones aplenty, to be sure, but not so much that she's caving in body cavities entirely or bursting vital organs.

At least, that's not her intentions.

But if Vegeta finishes them off, oh well.

Taking a deep breath, she backs off from the assault just long enough to see what Lute's doing. Some turncoats he's rescuing.

It's a real weird thing, defending traitors, even when they're her enemy. But compassion actually wins out. With a *bzeeeeop* she blinks out of sight, reappearing (hooray super speed) in the defense of the turncoats' pursuers, side turned to them and hands cupped at her side. Another posture that would be FAR too known to some. "Kame... Hame..." As though answering the invocation, blue-white light pulses and expands within her hands like a newborn star. Upon meeting her containing hands it shimmers and grows brighter, power compressing tighter and tighter...

Then, both those arms are thrust forward, palms open. "HAAAAAAAAA!!"

Is there any doubt who's been teaching her these moves?

Backed by the power of Kaioken and Vegeta's loaned Ki, Cory's Kamehameha explodes out into a terrific thickness several times her own height, aimed straight at rushing forces!

Gohan (334) has posed:
As Kakarot's threat registers, Gohan... goes blank for a moment. He chokes. He was threatening Earth. His mother. His planet. There's a roar of feral agony the ripples across the area, but he's stopped once again as the HOLY HELL WHAT IS THAT THING?! dragon emerges from the volcano and turns to annihilate Kakarot. Rex... survived? Or was this something else entirely?

Either way, there was no way he was going to be outdone. Not now. He needs to make sure he does what he came here to do. He grips his sword, the energy swirling around it growing brighter and brighter. His radio, an earbud affair, falls out of his head and explodes under the strain of his power. He rushes, yelling as he does. "REX! GOOD JOB! I'LL HELP YOU!" He's unsure whether or not the dragon will even register his existence, but he waits for the flaming cone to dissipate before moving any closer. The energy in his blade is causing the blade to vibrate in his hands, but he dares not approach. Not yet. It would do him no good to die alongside Kakarot, and that is LAVA. It would probably melt him.

Glitter (721) has posed:
Ow.

Glitter is going to feel that later. Actually, she feels it now; her shield may have prevented her from being pulped, but it isn't going to stop everything from a blast like /that/. Maybe she should have listened more to Cory about deflecting bolts instead of absorbing them, but most of what she's had to deal with in the past were bullets and smaller bolts - lightweight things she can just stop dead.

She can't hold the Neo-Saiyan forever, but she doesn't have to; Gaius handles that. Glitter feels a spike of guilt at the death, but - and she hates herself for thinking it - she'd rather the attackers die than the civilians.

Of course, the fact that she's apparently literally working with Death means that that's more, not less, likely to happen. Glitter doesn't know /what/ the reaction ought to be to that. She settles for incredulity. She lifts off into the air again. "Stay with me," she says to Sanary, offering her a hand; if she takes it, she gets pulled up again, towed after Glitter as she maneuvers around.

Glitter glides away from the building. She wants to search for more injured and trapped, but with the violence going on, she thinks it best to arm herself. Several pieces of debris lift up from the ground, caught by her power, and fly over to her; Glitter sets them to orbiting her, functioning as shield and emergency battering system equally.

She swings them out on wide arcs, only one at a time - the rest stay close to her - at nearby Neo-Saiyans, bludgeoning attacks to keep them off balance and battered. Some of those are /big/ rocks.

Gaius Van Baelsar (522) has posed:
The Legatus watches as the cut cleaves nicely into the Saiyan, only notice that this only excites the crazy warrior. He watches as the Saiyan ignores the massive injurt and only comes back in. Somewhat caught off guard by this, the first strike slams hard into the chest armor, the cermet and reinforced steel cracking under the hard impact.

The next one is deflected away, by his free hand, before he attempts to avoid the next, only to have his shoulder slammed, causing his foot to slide across the heating ground as he at last makes contact with the earth once more and has to keep from losing his balance entirely.

This leaving the Legatus open for the next several impacts which send him back and nearly head over heels. His feet slide along the ground, as his armor shows the stress it has been placed under, pieces of it clipping off to the ground, as blue droplets make impact with the ground as some of the lines had been hit.

His HUD flashing warnings due to the proceeding instability of his armor, but he doesn't stay down for long and charges in to meet fate again. He takes a blow, only to deliver another. A Ki Blast slams by him, he fires off a plasma shot for the long range attacker, before turning with another strike and aiming for another with a plasma shot.

The Ki Blast slams into his armor however knocking him back hard against a building, as suddenly the crazed Saiyan comes up on top of him, the punch shatters the armor exposing the circuit lines, the next slams into his head, followed by another, before he can grab a fist with his free hand to stop the brutal assault.

The helm cracked, his real eye exposed for the shattered lens, as his gold eye stares down the Saiyan in defiance. His hand trying to bite into the Saiyan's own hand to crush it. The only part he was not expecting is when the Saiyan suddenly glows brightly. The explosion detonates and the sheer force goes through the building and all around where they were.

The very building can be seen coming down into the dust and pieces. When the dust settles and gives way, a blue flash of flames can be seen jumping over the chasm to the other side, rolling along the ground, before coming to a stop. The Legatus had managed to escape by using the last of the power to burn to off the Ceruleum before it could explode by a rapid teleporation to the other side.

However as Gaius extends out his hand to get back up, his hand only drags some dirt along, before he collapses fully to the ground...

SOUTHWEST GROUP.

The Red-armored female could not have anticipated the wrath she'd unleash in Lute.

Giratina fires itself toward the female without remorse. Cloaked in a dark aura, its body made into a weapon, Giratina becomes the instrument of Lute's will, and Lute's just become judge, jury, /and/ executioner. The female gasps.

It's the last sound she makes.

Giratina's rush slows on the other side of the space once occupied by that Red-armored psycopath. A sheen of red colors Giratina's form. Blood.

Some of the wounded Lute tries to take captive still try to struggle, but none of them have enough organization or will to do anything self-destructive. Most just lie on Giratina's back in unmoving silence.

As to his words -- no one answers. No one dares challenge his claims, either. Not after /that/ performance.

The sky above Lute suddenly turns bright blue. How is that possible? The sky was just smudged by ashy clouds. How can it look so bright all of a sudden?

The pure radiance of the kamehame ha technique pushes back the murky darkness to give the region a new hue. Everything touched by its glare becomes almost beautiful despite how ravaged the world's become. The air hums with the beam's passage. The Neo Saiyans roar as one, a unified cry that would be heartening had they fought on opposite sides tonight.

Together, a phalanx of ki shields is created. Together, the Neo Saiyans push back against the kamehame ha, demonstrating what it truly means to be a Neo Saiyan. The Saiyan Empire had been fractious and self-destructive. These saiyans, though...these were different. These warriors knew the meaning of loyalty, and the rewards of teamwork. They would fight for each other as hard as they fought for their king.

One by one, the ki barriers drop. The unified Neo Saiyans falter, and fall from the formation, struck by the kamehame ha's tidal wave force.

Before the cluster can be consumed entirely, however, the middlemost Neo Saiyan yells out: "GO! FOR KING KAKAROT! GO!!"

The kamehame ha carries forward, obliterating the saiyan left in its path. The other surviving Neo Saiyans lunge toward Cory in the aftermath. Their bodies gleam with an outpouring of power. As they approach, they give their lives to their cause, initiating a chain reaction of super-destructive explosions that'll threaten the entire region and everyone in it, Lute and Vegeta included.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Breathing a sigh of relief as the Reptilonian finally gets out of that apartment (possibly with help from the cable), Sanary's finally able to take a breather to circulate some of that healing magic inside her own body. She even directs some of that energy Glitter's way once she's sure she doesn't taste her liver any more, stepping out to survey the carnage now that there's no civilians to rescue or worry about.

Then there's that whole pile of body parts. Lovely sight to come back to, even if it is several stories below them. "... Glitter? Don't be scared. That's just... Death. He's on our side." After offering that reassurance, Sanary takes the offered hand from Glitter to get out of that crumbling death trap before settling back onto the firm-ish ground once more.

Once she has her footing back, she'll charge straight for Gaius' position with her axe at the ready. The healer pumps some of her magic into the weapon to imbue it with Ice while swinging at any Neo-Saiyans on the way to the Legatus, practically skidding to a stop if she gets there without getting interrupted in the process. If she does get there without being stopped, her next goal: Pumping a boatload of healing energy into Gaius's prone form as quickly as possible.

She's not about to explain to Yari how her boss exploded.

Serori (37) has posed:
Vegeta will find answer enough in the self-destruction of the saiyans flinging themselves at Cory. It's only King Kakarot these warriors will die for. His charged attack goes ignored; the Neo Saiyans focus on getting as close as possible before they destroy themselves.

Deelel has posed:
Deelel is now heading east and things seem to be getting even worse as she arrive flying over here. There's more things here a lot of hostiles are still in play here. There's also a lot of injured people who need help or to join in the fight. Deelel's going to mix things up she cuts her light jet's power, it vanishes into wireframes and Deelel starts falling towards the battle with her keyblade out again she's going to land in a couch in the melee and go to engage the Neo Sayains up close and personal.

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
To take hold of Death's scythe is a task that only the bravest or most trusted can manage without severe consequences. To take hold of Death himself is a task only the foolhardy or suicidal will take on.

Oh, the giant scythe is stopped and battered, yes, but that won't be enough to defeat Death. The handle bends and twists, but not entirely due to the strength of the saiyans; when the scythe's blade comes down again, it's not one, but two, replacing the lower jaw of a giant, fanged human skull that snaps down on the body of another Blue saiyan.

Where Death was once his weapon of choice, now he is a gigantic serpent of bone, the tip of his tail replaced by a scythe's blade that sweeps and lashes at the saiyans around him. His coils twist around the saiyans trying to grab hold of him to crush and stab with pointed ribs, and from his lashing he summons sickles that spin in the air and hurtle toward the many saiyans in a storm of blades. The reaper's fury continues unabated.

Dracula, meanwhile, has his hands full. Evasion isn't his strongest point in this form, and so while his bloody punches hurtle through the air, he suffers blast after blast against his black hide, cracking his armor and leaking that inner blood even more. And still, he laughs, his cackle rising from the depths of Hell itself.

"Yes, come to me! I have not had the chance for such a battle in /ages/! Come, if you wish to fall in the service of your mad ruler! Come, fight for your blind king and /DIE/ for his sins! The powers of darkness welcome you!"

For only a few moments, Dracula's arms, legs, and wings come in to curl into a ball as a purple light shines from his chest. Brighter and brighter he glows, until the Lord of Darkness almost seems a sun in his own right...and then, with a great howl, his limbs fly outward and send with them a decimating wave of purple energy that continues for at least a block. Horizontal, fortunately, to spare the remaining buildings below, but aimed to be devastating to the Green saiyans still assaulting him with ranged blasts.

Vegeta (663) has posed:
"FINE! I GAVE YOU A CHANCE, NOW I WILL SHOW YOU THE POWER OF A KING THAT WOULD HAVE DEFENDED YOU WITH HIS LIFE!!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" Vegeta suddenly tosses that bright ball of energy into the air, "Big Bang... ATTACK!!!" before getting bombarded by the chain reaction of exploding Saiyans.

But the Big Bang Attack itself explodes into a -massive- expansion of energy, eventually leaving a large, bright yellow mushroom cloud, regardless of who's in it.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Kakarot sneers at Allo. "Your delusions are pathetic! I've annihilated your world despite the entirety of time and space standing against me! And you spit these empty words back at me? You don't-..."

Everything shakes as Kakarot feels the world shake. Hears something behind himself.

Coming from the volcano. "..." He stares, his eyes widening as the massive dragon-beast, like some kind of demon spawned from the Abyss itself before him. "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-" His scream is lost as magma washes over him, his shadowy form wavering in the endless fire.

When it ends, a molten mass hangs there, dripping and congealing, a block of stone in the air...

And it falls to the ground, smashing into the side of the Lava Dome. On impact, the statue shatters, flying in all directions to reveal...

Kakarot, horrifically burned. Black, twisted flesh is burned away in many places. What had happened to Zuki's face is applied across Kakarot's entire body, rendering him as horrid masss of char and flesh and muscle. He screams in incoherent pain and rage as he forces himself back to his feet, a gurgling howl resonating through the air. "HOW... HOW MANY TIMES... DO I HAVE TO /KILL YOU/, GENGHIS REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEX?" The sound is hideous, his damage vocal cords scratching and gurgling as he fires into the air like a javeline, trailing bits of rock as he arrows straight for the horrific being's face, slamming a burning fist into the maw of the monster.

There is no fancy attack name. "Die." A bolt of annihilating ki fires right for the head of the monster, powered by a glorious hatred and soul-searing agony.

Lute (188) has posed:
The Saiyans begin to explode. This? This is pissing Lute off. They could have done so much more. They killed off their own, just to make sure more people could self destruct later. But, Lute has only one option in response to this: Defend those who aren't involved.

He lifts up a Pokeball, and opens it immediately. Midair, Registeel forms. The bulky steel Pokemon starts falling to the ground immediately. But. Lute only needs it for one purpose: Push away the explosion. He shouts, giving a loud order to both Registeel and Raichu.

     "HYPER BEAM! THUNDER!"

And with that shout, Registeel fires forth a massive burst of energy. It's attempting to push away the blast from the chain. This beam is no Kamehameha, but it is still an incredibly powerful beam. It is joined by the powerful burst of electricity, bolting forth to help push the self destructing Saiyans away.

Gardevoir keeps scooping up the unconcious. Lute signals to any remaining non-exploded Saiyans to come with him. He is lost in teh chaos, though. He doesn't know if any are still around. Too many explosions.

"COME WITH ME! Get near Giratina, and I'll protect you!"

Allo (724) has posed:
And when Kakarot tries to call him delusional, Allo has a simple response to that. "Have you looked in the mirror lately?"

Not that words are going to make much of an impact one way or the other at this point. But after dealing with the Tyrannos as much as Allo has, you just tend to snap off your witty retorts and get back to business regardless if they're falling on death ears or not.

All the same, by the time Kakarot is turning his attention fully to the behemoth that appeared out of the volcano, Allo redraws his laser rifle. He still really didn't like using weapons like this, but with Kakarot, there was no other option. This had escalated past fossilizers and 'supression' methods a long, long time ago.

Kakarot turns to fire his ki attack at dragon-Rex, and Allo doesn't spare a second to debate the next course of action. Keeping his distance he raises the rifle, cranks it up to the highest setting, and fires off several bolts of sheering energy at Kakarot's backside with a precision of lethal levels he rarely, if ever, uses.

Cory (768) has posed:
"Grrrrrrr..." Never before has Cory been forced to maintain a Kamehameha for quite this long. Perspiration rolls down her face and teeth almost crack from the clenching. As more and more ground is lost though...

"Guess I've got no choice... KAIOKEN... TIMES... ELEVEN!" THIS might be pushing it far too much. The young woman's body bulges weirdly, all of her tissues howling in pain from the staggering amount of compression she's performing on the Ki coursing through her body. Though she's even spitting out blood through the struggle, she doesn't stop. A new surge of power flares down the Kamehameha Wave, crashing into the shields... but it only slows the advance. Finally, she falters. It's all she can do to just throw her arms up and bring out all of her power into a defensive barrier of sorts!

What's left of it, anyways. Not much.

The kamimaze does fare more to her than the misjudged Kaioken, however. She's mercilessly engulfed in the blasts and flung hundreds of yards in no time at all. She hits the ground like a meteor, ragdolling and bouncing hard enough to dig a tremendously long trench and kick up an enormous cloud of dust.

Hard to say just what sort of shape she's in with all of that damned dust, but she's not coming OUT of there, and anyone able to sense her would've noticed her power plunging into the absolute critical.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
The beast hovers in the air, slow and ponderous, horrific and beautiful at the same time. As Kakarot's burnt form collides with the beast's face, molten rock peels away from its draconic form, splashing from it in large gouts. The beast itself seems to absorb the hits, its features slowly rebuilding as Kakarot's fists carve it away.

The beast merely glowers, at Kakarots' efforts, it's mouth opening and closing, but the inferno that dwells inside it does not allow it to speak.

A claw reaches for kakarot, magma splashing down on the surface of Lavadome, but then the claw stops and recoils, clutching at its firey orange chest, the light there, dimming.

It moves away from Kakarot and stumbles over the edge of the crater, lying down on the side of the slope.

Ash and ember rise from the beast, evaporating and disappearing into the sky, as the form bleeds away from the occupant inside the raging flames.

In the aftermath, Genghis rex lies on the slopes, his clothing burned away, his scales burnt and smoldering, his eyes slits as he struggles for consciousness. He looks VERY different, skeletal in fact, wasted away to maybe half his original body weight, a shell of his former self, ripe for destruction.

Serori (37) has posed:
LAVA DOME.

Rhapsody and Sidonia act in sisterly harmony as Ryxinel demonstrates to the saiyan that 'brotherly' isn't always a thing of 'love.'

Electricity races across the Super Saiyan's body. It penetrates the fibers of his muscles, sets fire to his nerves, paralyzes his movement, and all in all puts a sudden stop to the brutal attack he'd been unleashing upon the dragon. "Gaaahhkh! KING KAKAROT!" he stammers out, the last action he can muster before Sidonia's blades find his body. He chokes on a gout of his own blood, the gold vanishes from his hair, and the Super Saiyan topples forward to his death.

Rebound meanwhile does the unthinkable. Rather than retreat, rather than safeguard herself, she charges the Neo Saiyan threat head on. The female saiyan targeted by Rebound's courageous kick continues to descend in a glowing spark of imminent self-destruction. Rebound soars through the air toward the saiyan, feet extended to deliver an intercepting blow. The generator hums, the magic pulses, and Reptilon holds it breath.

Rebound's feet touch the saiyan's chestplate.

The saiyan rockets backwards --

-- and disappears into the tunnel she'd dug herself. That's when the reaction completes, and her self-destruct triggers.

A huge gout of smoke, flame, and energy fires out of the tunnel, speeding right toward Rebound in a deadly plume. Rebound surges toward it, her momentum unable to be checked. For a moment, it looks like this is Rebound's last act of heroism. She might even say a few words of prayer for her own soul, or think back on her family, friends, and childhood. She might think of the life she meant to lead, and the life she had before her mutation.

The blast stops short, intercepted by the jagged, scaled hide of the upward-lunging Roko. The Agnaktor lets out a /hideous/ shriek, and collapses downward, blood and scales and chunks of hardened magma streaming from his writhing body.

Rebound is safe to touch off the ceiling, and push herself in another, safer direction. Or to fall and get fucked up, whatever, gravity's a bitch.

Gohan (334) has posed:
As Kakarot fight back against Rex's draconic form, Gohan can see the form shatter under Kakarot's assault. The halfbreed's energy explodes out, untamed by any force other than the feral instincts of the Saiyan. And yet... his human side is here, letting the power run rampant. He can have the strength, but also the concentration to direct it. As Rex falls to the mountainside, Gohan's eyes focus on Kakarot and he flickers out of sight. When he reemerges, it is directly in front of Kakarot. The sight of the man so broken, so damaged, causes a wave of concern, but it is overwhelmed by instinct. He reaches out, moving to grab Kakarot by the throat.

His hand doesn't close to strangle Kakarot, just enough to hold the charred Saiyan King in place.

"You!" he says, slamming the hilt of his blade into Kakarot's stomach. "MADE! THE! WRONG! THREAT!" Each word is punctuated with a pummel to the gut, fist slamming with the force of a freight train. "You will die here, to ME!"

He turns the sword around, the energy pulsing through it palpable and only just restrained. He holds it for a moment...

Before he slams it forward, straight into Kakarot's stomach.

"I will give you a chance to speak your last... before I blow you to pieces. It is the only mercy you deserve."

EAST GROUP.

Sanary won't have to explain anything to anyone, fortunately, except perhaps how Gaius got that sweet new scar.

After taking another ride on the Glitter Express, Sanary touches down with weapon swinging. The Neo Saiyans are scattered at first by surprise, but then by great chunks of debris wreathed in sparkling auras as Glitter moves in and supports and protects her friend. Gaius is soon in good hands, his life secured: Sanary's healing power pours into him to knit together the worst of his wounds. It's not a pretty job since her magic can only go so far, and Gaius isn't put up on his feet to walk it off, but at least this way he'll get home safe and sound.

Glitter meanwhile smacks some Neo Saiyans around with giant chunks of debris and handy boulders. It's kind of satisfying. Soon enough, the number of semi-conscious on-the-ground groaning-and-moaning in agony saiyans outnumbers the wrathful ki-slinging saiyans still alive to teach Glitter some manners.

And these are about to learn that you never turn your back on the personification of Death.

His skeletal coils unwind to slither across the field. His scythe-tipped tail glints in the dim lighting granted by the ash-strewn sky. Death bares his fangs, and releases a hiss like a final breath.

He strikes as Glitter does, cleaving where she bludgeons. Together, the rest of the Neo Saiyans surrounding Sanary and Gaius are dispatched, either dead or dying, or two wounded to fight. Death has had a busy evening...

Dracula, meanwhile, rampages through the midst of the remaining challengers. His claws tear through flesh. His teeth drip crimson ruin. All around him, Neo Saiyan bodies sprawl out, twisted, boneless, bloodless, lifeless. His voice shrieks to the heavens, and Reptilon trembles again as if in fear of him, and not of its own coming ruin -- as if this Lord of Darkness will be the world's end, and not the planet's faltering heart.

In the midst of the chaos he sows, a gleaming Keyblade also works to protect Reptilon's citizens. Deelel weaves among those who would try to escape Dracula, delivering her own form of righteous justice.

The evacuation totally takes off all in good time and stuff.

Rebound (750) has posed:
Things are actually going better than Rebound thought they would. Sure she's flying upwards towards a ki-powered explosion that is shooting a jet of fire and rock down at her, but she expected the explosion to happen as soon as she made contact with the Saiyan, so this is better than she thought. She braces for the impact of the jet of fire but it never comes, as the lava dragon creature takes the impact for her. She hopes it's okay, she'll have to find out later one way or another. She plants her feet on the ceiling when she reaches it, and pushes off of it, turning over in midair.

When she comes down towards the ground, she looks for the softest place to land. Then she spots it, those two Saiyans she knocked out earlier. She twists again in midair and comes down right on top of the two of them with a heavy thud, dust getting kicked up around them as she lands.

When the dust starts to settle, Rebound is standing there, still bleeding and hurting, as she limps away from her makeshift landing pad, making her way towards Rhapsody and her siblings, "Well...Looks like the planet's not gonna blow up today.." She says, giving the trio a thumbs up before she falls over.

Serori (37) has posed:
SOUTHWEST GROUP.

Lute unleashes one of his most infamous Pokemon.

Registeel's Hyper Beam fires forth to resist the powerful wave rushing toward Lute and his allies. The wave shudders as it clashes against Hyper Beam, and Hyper Beam quakes. Even bolstered by Thunder, its resistance starts to crumble. The wave created from so many self-destructing Neo Saiyans pushes forward as if unstoppable.

Cory is the first to fall to the wave. She's thrown away like a rag doll, and given her own crater of a resting place.

It's Vegeta who finds the solution to the problem. He counters power with power. Though Hyper Beam hadn't been quite enough to disperse the wave, his Big Bang attack proves effective -- maybe too effective. The resulting clash could still be lethal. An enormous yellow mushroom cloud erupts into the sky, formed by the collision of those two terrible forces. The cloud bursts, and rains shockwave after shockwave down on the region. Any vegetation is stripped down to the dust. Rubble's pushed away, trenches dug out as the chunks of Reptilon's civilization are uprooted.

Except for Lute, Cory, Vegeta, and their closest allies, the southwestern supply route is rendered into a barren wasteland for dozens of feet in all directions. It could have been much, much worse had the blast not directed itself upward, but had instead remained at ground level.

Lute lives, the Confederacy rejoices.

Rhapsody (325) has posed:
For the dragons of the izzet? They're exausted. Rhapsody's against a wall, Ryxinel is doing his best to check on the shields and the generators near by, Sidonia is .. missing, but this is Sidonia. It's what she does. The two visible siblings give the 'roo a smile, but when Rebound starts to fall over, Sidonia actually catches her, holds her up, and tries to move the fighter to a safer location. This actually causes a shocked expression to appear on Ryx's and Rhapsody's faces. "Lets get out of here," Sidonia muses, the others agree, and they'd be on their way out of Lava Dome, riding Ryxinel out after he transforms again.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Sanary can't be more relieved by the clearance given to her by her allies. Even while she channels more healing magic into Gaius' body to stabilize the worst of his injuries, she does take a moment to offer her allies a nod in thanks.

Even if two of them are literally tearing people to shreds. And possibly spraying more blood in her and Gaius' direction. Lovely. Still, who cares about a little blood here and there? Or a lot? She hadn't had a chance to see Dracula nor Death in action before, but there's definitely a renewed look in the healer's eyes at the show of brutality.

"You... Uh. Everyone good here? Any healing or...?" She looks from those two and to Glitter and Deelel, hunching over to try and catch her breath between heavy pants. She can pass out later when the ground /isn't/ exploding. "Gotta... Check on the other groups.... Eesh."

Glitter (721) has posed:
Glitter drops Sanary off again. Who knew that she'd be so good at playing taxi? (She knew. She's done it before.) Unfortunately as Glitter gets more tired and strained, the ride gets a little less comfortable; not dangerous, but her grip fluctuates a little bit and it feels less like being pushed and more like being dragged. Sorry, Sanary.

Truth be told, fighting with big rocks is easier than just slamming raw force around. Given something tangible to pick up and move instead of trying to do it with the air or nothing at all, Glitter is a lot more efficient, a lot more effective.

That doesn't mean she really likes it. But she's glad they're going down and many of them aren't getting back up. Glitter marks where they fell so they can be found later; she has no intention of leaving them to die either, and if all else fails she'll gather as many as she can on her way out.

Death and Dracula aren't. She didn't expect them to be, knowing who they are in a vague sense, but she still feels a little bit of guilt. Not as much as she might have before they cracked the planet, though. But enough that she actually tries, a couple times, to make sure that they are wounded but not dead, protecting ones that are definitely unconcious with short-lived domes of force to stop stray attacks (though it won't stand up to a determined one, they're pretty good at absorbing or deflecting accidental fire).

Eventually, she drops the rocks, breathing heavily. By then the evacuation is taking off, for which Glitter is glad. She can't do much more. The broken planet is getting to her; her shield is on all the time, now, just constantly sparkling.

Glitter drops down to her knees. She doesn't mean to; she just partially collapsed. She picks herself up, slowly, not trying to take off but just standing there. Powerful she might be, but she's not experienced; she's been doing the whole superhero thing for mere months and never at any event, any disaster this /big/. Pacing herself is not something she's practiced. "Gah," she gets out, before swallowing. Stay up, she tells herself. Stay /up/.

"Everyone all right?" she asks, almost in sync with Sanary. She looks at the other woman and can't help but grin, at least a little.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Kakarot doesn't dignify Allo's snappy comeback with a response. He has important things to worry about, like a giant dragon. Kakarot moves to begin engaging the beast, but it stops, the transfomation snapping backwards. The maimed King observes the situation, Rex falling to the ground, and Kakarot descends, a blacked, burned angel of death that hangs over the leader of the Tyrranos. "I've wasted enough good lines on you." Kakarot rasps. "Die!" He raises a hand, preparing to simply mulch Rex against the ground when Gohan smashes into him like a meteor, gripping him by the throat. He chokes, moments before he gets smashed over and over again, bones snapping, sinew tearing, and body folding around the repeated impacts. He slides down, crushed into the supervolcano... But once again when Gohan tries to impale him with the sword, Kakarot slams his hands together, an explosion of ki erupting from his hands as his power level fluctuates wildly, trying to keep himself from being impaled. "NOT... SOO.... FAAAAAAAAAAAAAST-RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" The scream is from Allo's beam, blasting one arm and severing his hand. The ki sphere weakens, the blade punching through and skewering him with a sky-rending CRUNCH.

Kakarot's eyes widen, and he hisses as he replies, "Gohan... I bequeath to you my burden and loneliness. In time, you will understand." He coughs up a spout of blood, staining his body... And his eyes narrow.

"Now /finish it/."

Allo (724) has posed:
Allo looks up as Gohan appears directly in front of Kakarot and grab him by the throat. "You seem to have this well in hand." Literally.

Leaving the Saiyans to have their little moment, Allo trudges around the crater ledges to get to where Genghis Rex collapsed. He gets down on one knee and uses the butt of the rifle to brace himself as he leans down close to his lifelong rival. "You know, Genghis Rex, I could just put an end to our own civil feuding right now. I don't think you're in much shape to stop me."

Yet the hand the reachs down for the Tyranno king is to carefully pick him up, rather than slit his throat to finish it. "But the last thing you're going to do is die on me. I'm not letting you off -that- easily."

Who knows if Rex is even concious enough to hear him as he carefully gets Rex over a shoulder.

"Gohan?" Allo doesn't bother looking back at Kakarot as he starts working down the rocky slopes. "He's all yours."

There's been enough deaths and sacrifices for their future. He wasn't going to let Rex be another one of them. "We've had our differences. We always will. But your death has never been an intended answer to solving them."

With that all said and done, once he's gotten them out of the immeadiate range of what's likely to be an explosive final confrontation between Gohan and Kakarot Allo gets back onto the radio.

Dracula Vlad Tepes (83) has posed:
Even the Lord of Darkness must start feeling his wounds eventually. The wrathful demon's revelry soon comes to a steady halt as the saiyans fall one after another, crushed beneath fists and claws and magic. Soon there isn't a single one left, and Dracula finds himself panting with rumbling, hissing breaths, glancing this way and that to ensure that no more Neo-Saiyans threaten his allies. Soon enough, though, his attention shifts to himself, and the steaming burns and blasted chunks along his armored form. Blood seeps out of the containment provided by those armored plates, pooling on the ground and hissing on impact. With a last, heavy groan, Dracula allows himself to sink to the earth and fall to one knee, where his elbow comes to rest. His free hand flexes - oh, seems someone blasted off the end of a finger - as he stares into his palm, panting with surprising exhaustion.

Death's serpentine form coils into himself, white fading to black as the serpent contracts back into the cloaked reaper with his scythe of silver. His empty sockets stare up at Dracula, the vampire lord resting for a prone moment in the ruined streets. "Getting old, my Lord," he rasps in his usual emotionless hiss, hardly even touched by the death around them.

Dracula merely chuckles, tired and tense. "Why do you ask? So you can cart me off again and then drag me back up from Hell? No, no...just a little unused to the exhileration. When was the last time I managed to stretch my legs this much?"

"Long enough ago for you to be kneeling before me now in weariness." Death stares at him for a moment more, then turns away, floating off to oversee the remaining evacuations. "It is an unfamiliar gesture from you. I would rather you get back on your feet. I believe that is a posture much more suited to you."

The vampire lord laughs, his fangs bared in the smirk that summons over his demon's visage.

They'll get out in due time.

Cory (768) has posed:
The dust clears evetually, revealing Cory struggling to rise to her knees, let alone feet. Much of her battlesuit's been scraped away, leaving only shreds of the white torso armor and a ragged patchwork of shredded bodysuit over the rest of her body. Where blue material was, charred, singed, and bleeding flesh - large wounds where flesh was scraped off open instead of sliced or punctured.

One arm hangs limp, one leg's more covered in blood than the other. Over the course of thirty seconds or so she slowly drags herself up to standing again but it's with her one good hand holding the opposite arm. After spitting out blood, her main priority is simply BREATHING.

Wobbling knees seem ready to give out at any time... "Damn... they all.. suicide bombed at once...?! That's not loyalty or conviction... just madness. He would've rather you guys lived..."

Gohan (334) has posed:
Gohan blinks. The fact that Kakarot is able to still fight him is impressive, but then he loses his hand. Gohan sinks the blade firmly into the king's body, the roar of pain causing the halfbreed no pause. He stares the warlord in the eyes, and after a moment, he understands. "You... want me to take your burden," he says, the energy in the blade surging brightly. It is likely quite painful to Kakarot, but Gohan is too far invested.

"Fine. I accept it. I will show you what could have been. Watch, from the afterlife."

He twists the sword, and there's a brilliant flash. "Goodbye... Kakarot." He closes his eyes, pushing the sword in a bit more.

As he does, there's another flash of blue light, and Gohan's voice echoes across the area. "KA...ME...HA...ME...HA!"

That energy, a storm only barely held back, rushes outward, the beam arcing into the sky as the half-breed channels the blast through Kakarot. The energy is blinding to some, and brilliant to all, parting the sky and racing out to stars unknown. Gohan stares straight into the blast, staring at Kakarot's eyes as the pair are engulfed by the energy.

Only Gohan... would walk away from this.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
Genghis Rex dangles over Allo shoulder, his fight over, his heavy eyes fixed on Kakarot and Gohan, as Allo carries him to safety. He feebly clings to Allo, as the Dinosaucers jumps down the side of the battered mountain.

The Tyranno king manages to move his mouth to Allo's earhole, "Nnnnnot sssoooo rough ... tttailllll foorrrr brains ...."

Serori (37) has posed:
Kakarot's last testament becomes known to all Neo Saiyans regardless of their remaining strength or condition. His words fill their minds, giving them the guidance they need to find their future. It will not be the future Serori would have wanted, or Vegeta. It will not be the future Gohan could have predicted. No Neo Saiyan could have imagined Reptilon would be the grave for their great King.

But is also the place where a new king arises to accept his crown.

Son Gohan.

The surviving Neo Saiyans begin to concede the battle. Whoever can will retreat, making a gradual journey to the crater where Kakarot waged his last war.

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute sighs in relief, as Vegeta manages to blow up the explosions. He is amazed this works. He is also amazed that Cory is still concious. He wsa going to help her get concious again if she wasn't, but instead, well. He'll just take care of better things.

He turns to the one concious Saiyan near him. He glances briefly at the pile of Saiyans on Giratina. And he ponders, considering a bit.

"...Well. If there are Neo-Saiyans left, you guys are basically traitors right now. If you want, though, you can come with me. I'll take you and your allies to a place you can relax for a while, and then we'll see what you want to do from there. But seriously, it.. takes guts to stand up for yourselves. So, good for you. And your pile of unconcious friends."

He knows Saiyans, so he assumes the lone concious Saiyan of as of yet indetermined gender will appreciate the battlefield humor there. But, Lute just smiles.

"...So, you coming with me, then, least for now?"

Rhapsody (325) has posed:
    Sixty Seconds Later.

Allo and Rex would have a medium sized red dragon swooping down out of the sky to land by them. Once down, it settles down onto it's chest, glancing in the direction of both of them. Once they're on it's back, it would rocket off for the carrier at a rapid pace while ensuring neither fall off due to it's acceleration.

Vegeta (663) has posed:
"Come on, we're going to see just what the hell is going on... Kakarot's energy..." Vegeta suddenly reaches over to pick Cory up into his arms, then his hair bursts a golden yellow, trying to use the speed from his first stage to race toward Gohan's power level as quickly as possible.

Maybe he's assuming that Lute will just fly back on his Pokemon.

Kakarot (723) has posed:
Kakarot struggles to remain conscious in the mind-numbing pain. His body's systems begin shutting down from shock.

But he is smiling. With blackened, cracked lips, he is smiling. His eyes are clear, now, no longer empty, but calm. Now he can go.

Now he can be at peace.

"Goodbye... Gohan. Make us all proud."

Kakarot opens an open channel, speaking on the radio, moments before all goes white.

And when the light passes, there is not even ashes left.

Deelel has posed:
Things are getting a bit harry here as she drops in to aid with the fight here in the Eastern sector. She's not alone along with regular forces of all sorts. Even some she's normally be hostile to? Are Glitter. Gaius, Sanary and even Dracula himself. To say he's not scary? Would be a lie she also knows for once he's focused on a mutual foe, she lashes out with Duel Disc and is about dancing through the enemy's forces who get away from the lord of Castlevina.

Snary is noted in this mess and she looks like she might need some help. She is however holding from finishing the enemy where she can, still this is a mess.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Laughing lightly at that bout of coordination with Glitter, the healer staggers over to direct some energy her way. With all the fighting that had gone on and that seems to be slowing down, Sanary can actually afford to throw a bit more around just make sure her allies are standing.

"Lord Dracula. Lor-. Sir... Uh... Death? Need a pick me up or should I not?" Who knows how it actually works for them? Her healing isn't holy in nature, but she'd rather not risk aggravating them just in case. She staggers in Deelel's direction next to toss some rejuvenating magic her way, coughing painfully for a moment before turning her two superiors again. "If not... I'll grab Gaius, and... Yeah. We did it."

Cory (768) has posed:
"You felt that too--OOOOOOooOoOOH?!" What began as a question ends up in a hurt and - moreso - startled yowl as one very sore Saiyan girl's scooped up and flown off.

Well, Cory's not complaining. Instead she's fumbling for her Senzu bean under the scraps of skintight blue material that survived.

Genghis Rex (114) has posed:
On his way to safety aboard a dragon, saved by his dearest frenemy, Genghis Rex gives up his fight for the day. Recovery will come for him in time, but a very different Tyranno will very likely rise from the ashes of this destruction.

Gohan (334) has posed:
Gohan draws his blade back, staring at where Kakarot had been just moments before. The weight of his final proclamation hits him, and he sags slightly as he sheathes his blade. "I will," he says, embracing the power he now had at his disposal. For all of his internal struggles, for all of his doubts, there was still something he could not deny.

He was a Saiyan. He was also a human. He was not one, or even something in between. He was the pinnacle of both sides of his races. And now... he was a King. A leader. A commander that the Neo-Saiyans needed in this time. He clenches his fist, then rises up, aura sparking and shining like a beacon of gold.

"Hear me, all!" he calls, his voice loud, but not quite loud enough. "Someone please get me a damn radio! I will shout myself silent before I even begin like this!"

Allo (724) has posed:
Once he's made sure Rex is safely on the dragon's back Allo climbs on as well. Though before they take off again he reachs into a packet of his belt and pulls out a spare radio. Which he tosses up towards Gohan. "Here. Let your new kingdon know who's in charge."

Then he hangs on for the dragon ride back to the ship.

Raditz (486) has posed:
Somewhere else on the battlefield, someways far off, Raditz drops down to the ground seating himself on a large rock, having powered down. His armor has long been shattered and broken off, his body battered and bleeding, and not very far away are the bodies of the two Saiyan Lieutenants he'd been fighting for the longest time. Were they dead? Maybe. So much for dealing with his brother. Oh well.

Still, he's watching on from a distance, sensing the energy of Kakarot fading away, and he sighs, "And there he goes again... Oh well... Maybe things will be settled down now." He leans back against the rock and groans in pain, "Damn, that girl packed a punch..."

Serori (37) has posed:
As a reminder, Reptilon's not safe. The Neo Saiyan threat is managed, but the planet itself is still in critical danger. Rumbling earthquakes still shake it to the core. The sleeping giant tosses in its bed, threatening to wake at any moment. What a happy ending for the Neo Saiyans -- but for Reptilon...?
