Synopsis: Kari Wolf and Lute hang out at the beach house.
Cast of Characters: 188, 276

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute is, currently, sitting on the lawn of the beach house, on the grass. He is somewhat just looking out at the ocean, as the sun is beginning to set upon it. On occasion, though, he has to grab a frisbee that is being dropped. Who is he playing Frisbee with? Well. Imima, his I-Class Destroyer. The chunk of metal is running after the frisbee, as per Lute's orders, grabbing it with its mouth, and dropping it on his lap.

Of course, Lute expects to see more Confederates eventually, but he knows of no specific plans. This Beach House is open to all Confederate Elites. So, he knows it's only a matter of time til he gets to socialize with one of them.

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
Two shinki, one normal sized and the other towering over her sister, approach the house. One is a Howling in the normal outfit; a dark blue with green accents swimsuit affair with gloves and boots painted on. The other is an unknown model in a similar getup only white with black accents, only with a darkly tanned skin and platinum blonde hair. Accompanying them is the mechanical rabbit they both rode here on, a matte white mecha-animal that seems to be under the taller shinki's control.
Kari bounces up to the door and transmits her credentials to allow them both in. "Haven't you wondered what other houses look like, Harriet? It'll be so neat! Maybe Master can get a house here if she visits this town and likes it!"
Harriet, the taller one, hmphs. "While my joints aren't expose, yours are. Hope you like sand in them."

Lute (188) has posed:
The door to the house is unlocked. It does not, in fact, actually have any real security or credential checking yet. It's a reasonable thing to /guess/ that it might have such safety checks. But Lute does not think that far ahead sometimes.

But! He /can/ hear, and so can Imima. As the sound of the Shinki from out front come in, Lute stands up, and heads that direction. He looks at Kari, recognizing her instantly. The other, though? He is unfamiliar. But, it's an easy guess.

"Hi, Kari. Let me guess, this is Harriet? Well. It's nice to meet you. ...Also, the door isn't locked, but well. Do you need help with it anyways?"

Lute, for his part, is wearing a labcoat and a speedo. Beachwear, yaay! His hands slide into his labcoat pockets as he looks at the two.

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
Kari was just about to try the knob when her credentials didn't work, only to be interrupted by Lute opening the door.
"Hi Lute! I didn't know you were here!" says Kari.
Harriet looks askance at Lute. "I take it you are working on your tan, given how much skin is exposed?" The robo-rabbit seems slightly agitated even though Harriet seems to be remaining calm.

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute leans forward a bit, kneeling down, smiling at the two. He actually offers a hand out to both of them, his arms stretched out. "Here, climb up on my arms to my shoulders. I'll give you a tour. It's not too huge of a place, but it's fairly nice." While he doesn't have many Pokemon that ride on his shoulders at the moment, it is something that he is used to, and hence the offer. Even though Harriet is a lot bigger as well, he's still happy to let her climb aboard too.

Imima, for her part, just stares at the two Shinki. She doesn't growl or anything, but the monstrosity of steel is at least incredibly curious about them.

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
Harriet gestures towards the robo-rabbit, which leaps toward the large shinki and unfolds into armor that encases her. Hard to jump onto somebody's shoulder when you lack the jump-assist that even ground-based shinki have. Harriet hops into one of Lute's lab coat pockets instead of the shoulder, since she knows she wouldn't fit very well there.
Kari herself hops onto Lute's shoulder and settles. "Is there sand everywhere, Lute? Should I wear a wetsuit to keep it out of my joints?" she asks curiously. Harriet is definitely a much quieter personality than Kari.
But still, the Mach Hare does say "I'm sure Master wouldn't mind if you wore one so she doesn't have to clean your frame."

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute smiles at the two Shinki. Yeah, these things are fairly cute. He pats both of them on the head just briefly, rubbing with his fingers, before beginning to walk around a little bit, preparing to give them the tour. "Well... There is a lot of sand on the beach, and some of it /does/ track in here. A wetsuit or something like it to protect your joints might be a good idea. ...Also be careful on the beach. There are seagulls around, and also crabs and other sealife. I... am also not sure if you guys are water proof, I keep forgetting that."

He opens some doors downstairs, showing them around, "Bathroom... You guys shouldn't need that much. And over here are a couple of different bedrooms. Lots of bunks. ...I can see about getting bunks set up for you guys, or... charging stations? Whatever Shinki sleep and recharge on. Plenty of closet space, too."

The rooms are rather lavishly furnished. Even though it's just bunk beds, they are definitely of the highest quality. The bathroom is relatively small, and only has a shower and toilet.

"...The actually living room is upstairs."

And he starts walking up the stairs.

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
Kari watches as Lute shows them around. "Charge cradles, and we're pretty waterproof already... unless our shell's been damaged." She adds, looking.
Harriet's ear-tennae waggle about as she takes in the house. Maybe being different wasn't a bad thing... she doesn't have to worry about getting sand in her joints since hers aren't exposed. She remains silent though.
"Was it a lot of money for these houses?" Kari asks as Lute heads upstairs.

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute nods, noting. Charge cradles... And water is safe. Okay. A smile, "In that case, I'll get some charge cradles sent over. So you two can spend the night if you want. Also, some Shinki sized swimwear. I mean, it's probably not necessary, but if you two want to wear swimwear, you might as well, right? Besides, I'm sure it'd look good on you."

He keeps heading upstairs. It's not too long of a walk into the living area. Which is basically a big room taking up most of the second floor, with a kitchen and dining room. He looks around, smiling, "Well, it cost, but not that much. I'm not buying these places, just renting. ...Though, honestly, if we /do/ want to keep these houses, I might have the Confederates chip in and buy them outright. All of us together, it wouldn't be that hard, right?"

He moves, to a sliding door in the room. Opening it, he steps onto the balcony, and shows them the ocean. Imima is, of course, following.

"...Ocean is beautiful, huh? You two been to the sea much?"

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
"I've seen it when on duty, but not from a house! It _is_ pretty." Kari watches the ocean for a bit. "Why isn't there a MMS Type Shark, I wonder? We have a squid and a fish, but no sharks." she muses.
Harriet simply says "I've only been in cities. The ocean looks vast and dangerous. Your pet land shark seems to be well-behaved." She's watching Imima.

Lute (188) has posed:
Lute smiles. He moves to sit on a fancy lawnchair on the patio, laying back on it. Imima comes close to him, and he pets her on the top of her head. "Well. ...Shinki are designed to be cute, and sharks aren't... cute? But who knows. Maybe we could have a custom shark shinki developed? Though I dunno. I really know next to nothing about Shinki. I really should look up more."

To Harriet, he smiles, "Well. Imima isn't really a landshark. She's an I-Class Destroyer. Part of the Abyssal Fleet. Basically, spirit of a ship that sunk in battle, seeking revenge against those that used her for battle. Samar, their leader? She trusted me with her. I've been using her to help fight the Fleet Daughters, which... They're Abyssals who are no longer in their true form. I'm going to sink them again, so they can turn back to Abyssals."

As he leans back, he smiles, "So. You two comfortable just sitting and staring at the ocean for a bit, or do you have any other ideas? I mean, I want everyone to have fun here, so."

Kari Wolf (276) has posed:
Harriet ohs and hmms. "I'm not sure, I came along because Master told us to get out of her hair after seeing the bootprints on the walls."
Kari glances at Harriet. "You were supposed to clean those up before she got home, Harriet. Who's the awful shinki now?"
Harriet stays /very/ quiet at that, apparently guilty of leaving said bootprints.
Kari ehs. "It's a nice beach with sun, and we can watch all the people down on the sand!"
