Taylor Scott (838) has posed:
This has been a very strange outing and it feels like it just keeps getting stranger. Thankfully they were able to find the Black Jacks and send them running off, but even the Ravens, a branch of American Alliance military was very confused by this Multiverse.

Best thing Taylor could do was hand them over some stuff he had gotten, tell them to take it back, and hope they can get everyone updated, because he was far from done here. Eventually the long day brought him to Urbania and also to a bar with an inn. The military guys also brought him some cloths to wear, so he wasn't stuck in his pilot suit.

So the dirty blond young man sat on a bar stool with a bottle of beer in his hands. His aqua teal eyes were looking at the TV screen, observing what these guys call entertainment. Trying to see what the difference was really.

Auron (236) has posed:
Bars aren't places Auron generally frequents, to be honest. He tends to get funny looks if he brings his weapons (though to be fair, a patron bringing a Katana the size of a zweihander into an establishment that serves alcohol would probably be frowned upon almost anywhere). That and he actually doesn't drink that often. But this particular bar has got the best wings and cheesesticks anywhere in Urbania.

So, into the war walks a stoutly-built fellow with black hair, greying ever so slightly at the sides and at his forehead. It sticks up all over the place except for the short ponytail. he's wearing a pretty standard outfit for this kind of place, a red t-shirt and black jeans. His boots are a little weird, with the metal plate on the top of the foot, but it's nothing too overly out of place.

He takes a seat at the bar not too far to Taylor's right and requests an order of wings and a scotch. His voice is low, but not too terribly so. Seems like a pretty normal guy. Though he does sort of have the air of a military man about him, so there is that.

Taylor Scott (838) has posed:
Taylor takes another sip of his beer, because so far at this bar he has observed some really strange stuff already. Fox girls, winged people, elves, and just the average people. He stared at a few, had to explain he was new-- which seem to get him off the hook a few times-- but has kept to himself.

His eyes do glance over to the man who walks in with a large size sword, watching him sit it down before ordering some food and a scotch. His aqua teal eye go back to the screen, before he takes another sip of the bottle. Ah what the hell, Scott...

"Wings here any good?" Taylor asks looking over to the man with his eyes, before looking back at the TV. "Saw a few people eating them, but no one in conversation reach."

Taylor had on a pair of black cargo pants along with his underarmor shirt. This also included his military boots, but his fingerless gloves were stuffed in one of the pockets for now.

Auron (236) has posed:
The man in the black shirt turns his head at the question from Talyor. That's when the scar on his right eye becomes visible. It reaches from just over his eyebrow to the middle of his cheek on the right side of his face, and the eye seems permanently sealed shut. If Taylor were so inclined to look, there's also the beginnings of a second scar peeking out over the neckline of his shirt. It's also on the right side.

Auron nods to the question. "That's why I came in. The cheesesticks are good too. They use a very high grade of cheese," he states evenly. in fact, his voice was one of the many on the radio earlier, if Taylor remembers.

But it's all right though, if he doesn't remember. There was a lot going on. "I heard your voice on the broadband earlier," Auron points out. "Taylor, you said? I'm Auron."

Taylor Scott (838) has posed:
Taylor mms softly as Auron explains they use high grade cheese in their cheesesticks. He does take notice of the scars, but doesn't point them out or bring question to them. It be rude after all! bad enough he is caught staring at anything non-human... even though there is something kinda sexy about the odd alien races; Oh god he is becoming like one of those starship captains.

At the very thought, he takes another swig from the bottle, before closing his eyes. "Yep, that is me Taylor Scott." He opens his eyes and turns himself to look more at Auron, extending out his hand. "Sorry if I don't remember your voice, Auron. There was a ton of chatter and I was trying to keep myself focused."

"This place..." He motions around the bar, "...is pretty much the most sane place I've seen all day. This Multiverse is crazy."

Auron (236) has posed:
Auron nods. "Understandable," he assures Taylor. "That's why I didn't say much. Unification is confusing at first. I didn't want to add to the confusion, when there were so many people talking." The corner of his mouth pulls up in a half-smile as Taylor mentions the craziness. "It is. But it's not so bad once you get used to it. And there are places like this where the craziness stays at a reasonable level."

Taylor Scott (838) has posed:
"Yeah, I can only imagine if there wasn't places like this." Taylor says as he then swigs back what is left in the beer bottle. "Probably be a mad house then." He sighs softly, before he rests the bottle fully on the counter. He then reaches into his pocket and pulls out a few cards.

"Well. Enjoy the rest of your evening. I'm going to hit the hay, then make my way back home. I'm pretty sure the President has already informed the DOVE system, so probably going to be some announcement or another." Taylor rubs the back of his neck before he goes to stand up. He then hands Auron some of the cards.

"These have my private line number. If you ever need to get in touch with me, here is how. If you know someone who be interested in something, give them one of the cards." The young man shrugs gently. "Doubt I'll get much interest in a place like this, but hey... be interesting to see what happens."

Then he lays down a tip at where he was sitting under the beer bottle before he goes to step away. "Take care Auron and I'm sure we will talk again."

Auron (236) has posed:
"Never know," Auron replies with a half-smile to the concern of not getting much interest here. He looks at the cards he's handed, listening to Taylor's assessment of them. He could put the number in the Union databases, but he'll ask first, and now's not the time.

"I can probably get you more attention on your work, but we can talk about it later," Auron says, putting the cards in a pocket. "For now, resting and getting things straight in your head is more important. Good to meet you, and take care."
