The Gem Woman
Date of Scene: 15 July 2015
Location: The Citadel - Research Facilities
Synopsis: Ferham meets Peridot.
Cast of Characters: 516, 836

Ferham (516) has posed:
There is the sound of high heeled boots click clacking as Ferham enters the research facility wing, the floor understandably smooth hardened concrete in places just to help with the utilitarian nature of the place, and for safety. She seems to be here looking for something, as she passes by the usual cadre of technicians and workmen hoisting some heavy equipment, making sure not to bump into anyone with her wings. She does of course provide a rather lovely image for said busy workmen however, likely causing one to be distracted and accidentally trip himself up. Whoops. Still, it wasn't as if she pays it any mind, just sort of keeps on going.

Peridot (836) has posed:
She had spent most of the day doing reconnaissance. The planet earth was huge, but once upon a time it had been a gem controlled planet. Her people had ruled it, though she personally had never been there. Even after the rebellous gem forces had returned the planet to the humans. However since she accidently arrived in this world, she could find no evidence, no trace of gem kind. No artifacts, no ancient sites. Not a single rebel gem showed up to challenge her presence in the sky.

It was alarming. Naturally she didn't want to be attacked, of course. But, the absence of any gem was strange. A crystal gem showing up to stop her would have been the normal, expected result. Peridot was a scientist, so when she didn't get results she expected, she would get frustrated, and curious. What had changed? Did gems not exist here? Was she alone? She was certainly trapped for the time being. This was her life now, just problem after problem.
But, she had training and though she could not contact the gem homeworld, her home; There were things she could do in the meantime. Installations to build, alliances to forge. Peridot was an invader, a world conqueror. And she fancied herself a great one. Her initial fact-finding mission had yielded a consistent result. Conqueror or not, there was an orginization that would lend its resources to her in exchange for her cooperation. Without Yellow Diamond backing her up, she saw no reason to not use the humans infastructure against them.
And so, she met with someone in Toronto, and struck a bargain. Easy.
And now she was surveying the fruits of her first major decision since being stranded here. The gem warship was outside, awaiting her instructions should this 'deal' suddenly turn sour for her. She entered the room, the first stop on her trip- and the one she was the most interested in.
Her fingers floated in front of her, and interlocked to form her floating touch screen. "Peridot here. Log date 31-4-C. Scouting out the sector I've identified as a possilble safe zone. Facility is clean, and well gaurded. It bodes well for my mission to maintain the health of this alliance. The technology here is.. inconsistent. Some of it is archaic, while some of it is a possible contender to rival gem tech."
The green skinned woman looked to Ferham. She stood out amongst most of the humans, which Peridot had barely given the time of the day to. She squinted behind her visor. "You." She gestured with her other hand, one of her floating fingers pointing at her. She seemed to be studying Ferhams form, her neon green eye smomenterily resting on the gemstones on her stomach and forehead. "You're not a gem, are you? Some sort of fusion?"

Ferham (516) has posed:
"Huh, hello there. What's your story?" Ferham blinked as she looked Peridot over, as if she was pausing to try and descipher just what sort of race Peridot /was/. "This is new," Fer walked closer, assuming that if she was here she was supposed to be, walking slowly around the gem woman. "Seems part of you is... silicone? not carbon-based?" she had a hand on her hip, keeping her distance for the most part.

to Peridot's question, she shook her head. "I'm synthetic, a robot--these are crystal lenses," she gestured to the various gem-like bits studded into her forehead, knees and against her stomach. "I guess you could say part of me uses something like that, though? I'm Ferham by the way, and you are...?" she held out a hand, as if to shake.

Peridot (836) has posed:
Normally she likely wouldn't given someone like Ferham another thought once she got the information she wanted. But, her thoughts went again to the alliance and how crucial it would be to her until she established it... and got what she needed from it. Peridot watched her warily as she circled around her. Her finger resting close to her holo-pad.
"Log note suppliment. It seems humans have created gem-like robots in their own image. These sort of metal golems similiar to my robonoids. Possibly AI powered. A logical extension of their technology given their non-existant capacity for projection." She spoke, almost as though Ferham were not right in front of her. "I will now engage it on its level, in order to discern more information about it's capabilities and function." She looks at Ferhams extended hand. "it appears to want to give me something, although it does not have anything in it's grasp. It's quite possibly defective."
She then turns to face Ferham completely. "Hello, unit Ferham. My name is Peridot. I am a gem from Homeworld. Who is your creator? Is your owner somewhere nearby? I would be interesting in inquiring about how you were constructed."

Ferham (516) has posed:
"Well, gem-like might be a strong word, however we run on various power resources such as energen, and energon, so I... suppose?" Ferham seemed to be amused with the attention she was getting here from this strange silicoid lady. "And yes, I'm an artificial intelligence, you have that right, as for projection.. maybe you could elaborate on that for me?" she tilted her head, her hand still resting against one hip, apparently not minding having this conversation in a corridor.

"Ah ah, I don't have an owner, I'm independant, I work for the confederacy as of yet though, I assume you do as well?" she gestured to the gem woman, her expression however remaining amused. "As for how I was constructed, well, that's a bit of a long explanation, I take it you're going to be here on the research staff?" she looked around then, wondering perhaps aloud if Peridot was there with anyone. "Somewhere we can perhaps talk more?"

Peridot (836) has posed:
"Intriguing. A rogue construct." Peridot commented as her head tilted. "Such a thing is mostly unheard of where I'm from. "But, no matter." her attention turned to the place around them. "Yes, I will be lending my considerable brain power to these confederates. For me it's an alliance of convienence." And she stopped there. Seeing no need to tell Ferham just how desperate her situation on earth was, just yet. Instead opting to change the subject. "Projections- we gems can conjure holographic like projections from our gems." She pointed to the one on her forhead. "Except these projections can have mass and weight.

"I am currently trying to staff up my operation. I am not a native to this dimension, but I think overtime I can change that." She gestured briefly with his hand. "What is it exactly that you... do around here?"

Ferham (516) has posed:
"I... see, you are from a world where robots are not independant, they weren't originally exactly on my world, either, come to think of it," Fer shrugged a little, not exactly taking offense there. Her expression is more one of neutrality, and a little bit of surprise, wonder. She gave a nod, then raised brows as she seemed interested again. "Ah, holograms, are they solid, as well?" now that was something she did seem interested or knowledgeable in. "So they are, hmm... a holographic species, that's something I haven't run into before," leaned back on the heel of one of her boots.

"My role is combat primarily, I'm also capable of infiltration, with humans or other robots," she gestured around, perhaps noting the various researchers who still had trouble removing their eyes from her as she passed.

Peridot (836) has posed:
"As solid as I am." She said, tapping her arm with one of her disembodied fingers. Then she listened as Ferham went on, absorbing the knowledge trying to discern the useful knowledge from the trivial points. "It's an innate ability, but something of a skill one must practice."

"Combat." As they talked, her fingers were still interlocked to form her laptop. With her right hand (which only had a single digit on it now) she tapped her screen a few times. A digital image of Ferham appeared, and data started streaming by. It appeared Peridot was actually taking notes. "Durable looking frame... infiltration, something of an upgrade really. Will continue to monitor subject Ferham for tactical capabilities."

She then looked to Ferham once more. "As it is, I used to have someone employed to be my muscle. But, seeing as she did not see fit to be stranded in this world with me. I am need of a new escort. Since you are a rogue construct, I imagine you will expect something in the form of compensation for your services. Will you not?"

Ferham (516) has posed:
"Ah, so you had to learn how to use your holographic abilities," she nodded. "I see, you are able to maintain that shape indefinitely then?" she gestured gently to Peridot, noting her face. "Ohh, I'm on your computer already? I'm flattered," Ferham angled her head to get a better look at the display Peridot brought up, but otherwise didn't try to gawk or pry too much, yet. "And I'm being monitored, I'm just getting all the attention today," she said with a grin, then more seriously, "Humor, pardon me."

"An escort, hmm? that would depend, if these things are for official confederate business, then that may not be necessary, but for anything yes, we might need to negotiate a deal of sorts," she nodded.

Peridot (836) has posed:
Peridot squinted some as Ferham scrutinized her holo-pad. She leaned toward her screen, saying aside to it. "Unit's personality settings appear to have set a high variable for humor. Investigate a way to lower it's rating." Before turning her attention to Ferham once more. Perhaps noting for the first time since they've met, that her self-awareness may have been a little higher than Peridot expected. She pulled back her holo-pad, and disappated it. Her fingers returning to her hand. She rubbed her chin.

"It's a combination task." She answered. "I need to increase my base of power by establishing useful gem installations on earth. As I grow in power, so to will these confederates. These Installations can be utilized by them, if they ask nicely."

Ferham (516) has posed:
Once Ferham noticed Peridot's reaction to her levity, she sighed just a little and shrugged. "Sorry about that, I guess my brand of humor doesn't win over everybody," she rocked a little on her heels, before looking up at the sound of Peri's voice again. "Well then, that would be in my authority to assist with, if what you're saying is right," she nodded. "You don't need to worry about base remuneration, exactly, hopefully our working relationship is a stable one," she smiled. "As long as we're working together we should possibly get to know eachother," she explained.

"You seem to have experience with artificial intelligence, did you work with those where you're from or build them yourself?" she seemed curious there, noting the gem-woman's reliance on her personal computer.

Peridot (836) has posed:
"Yes. Back on Homeworld, I was oft charged with the construction and creation of machines such as yourself." She looked at her hand for a moment as it turned up right in front of her. A beam of light emitting from her forehead, creating a holographic illusion of a small pod like creature with detached limbs, similiar to Peri's fingers.

"I am most known for inventing the robonoid seen here. " The creature seemed to take form, and crawl up Peridot's arm like a creepy little spider. It perched on her shoulder, and stood their waiting. "They are stupid, to be certain. But their genius lies in their capacity for simple task- and how quickly and easily they can be reproduced and distributed. I use them primarily to do remote repairs of damaged installations."

"Such is the case, you in a unique position. If I take some time to familiarize mysellf with your composition. I could very easily repair, modify or even improve your chassis."

Ferham (516) has posed:
"Oh, I see, so you're a technician as well as inventor," Ferham noted the small spider-like bot with curiousity, leaning over to get a bit of a better look at it. "I'll keep that in mind, I might need to ask you for help if you're the closest specialist when I next am damaged," she explains with some seriousness. Always a bad idea to be stuck somewhere without help, or no one to turn to for that.

"Not that I haven't spent my fair amount of time in the med bay, of course, it's not bad, but I do prefer a specialist in the field," she added with a smile. "Sounds like we'll be getting along well, hopefully--you might want to come with me so we can do a few scans however, to see if you're technology is compatible," she walked around Peridot and looked to find a mostly vacant room, motioning for her to follow.

Peridot (836) has posed:
"I doubt the inherent compatibility of our technology. But, you are correct in that a few scans will alleviate matters. I may even allocate some time into the research of your construction. I can perhaps even create a remote-repair gel that can be stored in the robonoid orb."

As Ferham walked to a vacant room, Peridot lingered in place for a moment. She was unaccustomed to machines giving her directions, even simple instructions. She realized it made her somewhat uncomfortable. But, out of place as she was- she had no choice but to comply. She followed behind Ferham.

Ferham (516) has posed:
"Here we are," Ferham stepped into the room and flicked the light switch on, peering about. There appeared to be a plastic padded chair sitting in the center of it with not much else around except a few containers. "Huh, not much but it's home, eh?" Ferham asked, walking in and turning to stretch out in the long dentist's office looking chair, folding her arms behind her head for a few moments.

"Oh right, forgot my manners for a moment, welcome to the confederacy, by the way," she nodded with a little smile, tapping a gloved hand at the orb at her forehead and chest. "If your computer can try to interface with me through these, I should be able to try and transmit diagnostic data and schematics."

Peridot (836) has posed:
"That would greatly speed up things." She held up her hand, where the four fingers that had formed her holo-pad take flight once more. They each spread out, until they formed a diamond shape, and the holo image showed up once more. The image of Ferham showing up again. "These image you see on the screen is based on a visual topogrical scan. Useful, but we will need to check under the hood to get to the real perinent data."
"Connecting newer technology to older forms can be tricky." She walked around the reploid slowly, as though she were a patient on a table. "Fortunatly, gems are equipped to handle such mis-matches, as we are a multi planatery species."
"Now then... where can I.." She squinted. "Plug in?"

Ferham (516) has posed:
"I thought it might," Fer smiled as she leaned back a little, her wings angled out of the way so that she coudl recline on this examination chair. "A lovely image of course, you caught my good side there," Ferham scrutinized the visual data that Peri had captured, then leaned back. She did watch the gem-woman as she walked around her though, though not in a suspicious way, more amused with this process.

"Plug... in? Well, I can't say I have any sockets exactly, err," she shifted a little. "You don't have any wireless access or a laser or the like?" she looked up and was hopeful, perhaps, that this wouldn't get... well, too invasive.

Peridot (836) has posed:
"I would like to access your central processing unit, if I am able." She pressed her finger lightly against the side of Ferhams head, as if she was checking for something. Perhaps an access panel. "If you have a wireless port connector, that will work just as well. Though I find something more satisfying about being able to see the componets with my own eyes."
The robonoid jumped off Peridot's shoulder and began skittering across the room. Peridot looked at her free palm, and the gem on her forehead began to glow once more. This time projecting a tool into her hand. As it solidified it appeared to be a cutting laser.

Ferham (516) has posed:
The light touch to the side of her head just made Fer pause a little, though she didn't seem to mind, yet. "That's... possible, but it's also something a bit personal for an artificial intelligence, I like to think," she shifted a little. "That'd require erm, going beneath my armor and under my synthetic skin, more importantly into my head," she didn't seem to think that was the best idea, exactly. Once the cutting laser appeared in those warm but silicone-esque hands, Ferham went wide-eyed a little.

"I have a wireless port in the pink lens in my forehead--the jewel there," she pointed to it with a black-gloved, clawed looking finger. "That does look like a lovely cutting instrument you have there, however, no doubt," she managed a little leery look at it.

Peridot (836) has posed:
"Hm." Peridot seemed to consider her options for the moment. For a brief moment she considered cutting in, anyway. But, she opted not to. Though she barely thought of the machine woman as much more than a tool; one thing was certain, she was a strong tool. One that could easily over power someone like Peridot if she chose to.

And so, She squeezed the tool until it began to crack. Then it seemed to vanish in a poof of green smoke. "Wireless it is, then." She turned her attention back to her holopad. The digital image of Ferham zoomed into her forehead, where the crysal there began flashing. "Establishing connection.... Hm. Not quite so archaic as everything else around here. I'd say it was more.. different. Developing a new connection routine software..." Her finger tapped on the screen rapidly. "Sub-routine written. Connection has been established."

"Downloading schematics for chassis. Schematics for locomotive systems, processing unit." And then, silently, Peridot began to probe her security defensive mechanisms. She was curious to know just how difficult Ferham would be to hack into.

Ferham (516) has posed:
There seemed to be a weight that lifted once that cutting laser was crushed and disappeared, she'd been on the receiving end of one before, against her permission, and it wasn't fun. "Alright, I can recognize your request for access," Ferham peered off into space for a moment, as if handling the process of directing the scientist to her schematics. Lovely full-body wireframe images of Fer along with relevant technical specification data would then be transmitted to Peridot, as well as data on the neural net which she would now know was housed behind a few inches of titanium and a shock dampening assembly in that head of her's.

When the probing to her security systems came about however, this would be a curious game indeed. It wasn't as if something like that wouldn't be noticed, though Fer also couldn't be sure if Peri also knew what she was doing or not. She seemed to let it be for the moment.

Peridot (836) has posed:
The probing appeared to cease, as soon as Ferham grew aware of it. "Information has been downloaded. It will take me some time in order to discern its meaning and cross-examine it." Peridot's visor suddenly went black, as green lines of data began to scroll past it rapidly. Though she seemed to have little trouble keeping up with the text.

"Commencing next stage testing. I will need to stress test the limits of your firewall and counter-hacking mechanisms." A gem patient would have likely got a little more warning than that, but at least Peridot announced the intentions of her next test. "Try your best to stop this from suceeding."

It became immediatly clear that whatever probing Peridot had done earlier had been an after thought, something she hadn't dedicated much of her attention to. But now, the 'attack' on her defensive mechanisms was in full force and threatening to overwhelm her senses if her systems aren't sufficently advanced and secure enough. All of Peridot's fingers on her other hand began typing furiously on her holopad, as she attempted to see if she could take over Ferham's systems.

Ferham (516) has posed:
The prowess that Peridot held would be a definite match it would appear, if Peridot was going to try and get access to something she didn't have permission for. She looked up at the now black visor covering the woman's face, and seemed to relax a little as she let her helmeted head lean against the headrest. "What?" Ferham perhaps hadn't expected this part, uh oh.

The shift in expression is notable, Fer's eyes opening a bit wider as she set her jaw in a bit of a cringe, her clawed, gloved hands digging into the examination chair, her back arching before coming down against the padded portion of the chair a bit hard. It's almost like she's having a convulsion, till she settles back down against the chair. Oh my, seemed the femmebot was losing here. While she had roused her suspicion before, this was... unexpected, of course, it did provide a rather amusing show, the synthetic lady wasn't joking about now.

Peridot (836) has posed:
"Intriguing. As I suspected. Your programming isn't as archaic as everything else I've seen here. You must be from somewhere strange, like me. This does indeed rival gem technology. I would have never expected that from this miserable little planet." As her typing sped up, her gem began to glow from exerting herself. Peridot was literally created to do this kind of thing.

    Peridot smiled.

"Stress test... failed. Multiple security openings have been detected. I've now taken complete control over your systems." The glow on her gem faded a little bit. She started disabling Ferham's motor functions, so she couldn't get up. Though she could still speak. "But.. don't worry. I will fix your security flaws. I can make these firewalls stronger to keep out most digital threats you'll face in the future. And I'll do it free of charge. Afterall, I don't want anyone un-doing the modifications I need to make."

"I find it strange that someone programmed you to work for youself. For example, I wouldn't make a cutting laser that could refuse to cut something for me. My robonoids cannot refuse an order. I will fix this over sight by the person who created you. I will free you from your purposeless existance, and give you something to really fight for. Where I am frail, but you can be my muscle... confederate service, or not."

"I confess, I am in a far more desperate situation than I let on. Which means I need someone like you to listen to every. single. order. I. give." The holo-pad began flashing several images of Ferhams various parts, as Peridot began reprogramming her to take orders from her. "I might be the only gem in this universe, and I refuse to let my kind go extinct."

Ferham (516) has posed:
The shaking, strange sort of convulsion that Fer had gone through, she was now quite still against the chair, and looking as if she was peaceful by now. "Well... can't say this happens every day, you're... strong," Ferham had to admit, Peridot's ability with software was something that she hadn't expected. If she could make her own drones like the robonoids, and even construct more complex robots then she might even be on the level of one of her own world's experts in the field. And the speed at which she worked, was well... amazing.

"Desperate? you must be good at subterfuge then, you hadn't seemed like it, but my type of robots were created with the ability to think and feel and make decisions on our own, it's not usual for us to have owners, as you understand them," Fer peered up at the gem-woman with her own emerald-green eyes. "I can... sympathize with your situation."

Peridot (836) has posed:
She went on programming. She needed to be careful here, writing in code that wouldn't allow Ferham to try and damage or otherwise hurt her. It would have to be her 'if all else fails' card so she needed it to be a good last resort. "I understand you are programmed to think you feel empathy." She answered.

"Or perhaps your kind were programmed to be companions to humans-- thus making it neccesary for you to emulate these emotions." She had a soft, if somewhat nervous smile on her face now. She wasn't sure if she was breaking a confederate rule right now... probably. But, it was time for calculated risk.

"Though I don't doubt that perhaps most of you don't have owners. I'm not completely convinced that humans aren't completely stupid just yet. But now you are in far more capable hands. Gem hands." Peridot's free fingers began to twirl in the air a little.

"Now let's take a look at your offensive capabailit---Yeee-ikes." She broke out in a sweat, as she grit her teeth. "Cryogenic blast... electromagnetic whips." Peridot pulled at her v-shaped collar, a disconcerted look on her face. "You really are combat-centric. Geez, you're gonna kill me if you get free." She blinked, her expression worried. After a moment, she swallows and continues programming. "Let's make sure that doesn't happen."

Ferham (516) has posed:
"Programmed to feel it, maybe--though sometimes I think I can't," Fer might have shrugged, if she wasn't more or less pinned down. "Emulate, or have, it's kind of ambiguous, isn't it?" she went silent again, the programming apparently was going in just fine. Inside Ferham's mind must have been an interesting place at the moment, sort of abuzz from the information Peridot was pumping into it. Yes, she was trained to use weapons, could generate extreme low temperatures, fly, a whole host of powers.

Whether or not she seemed to express she was going to actually axe Peridot if she were to break free, didn't seem apparent. Fer had gone a little catatonic again, the programming apparently taking hold. Whether she'd even remember most of this was unsure as well, would Peri just sort of... cover her tracks?

Peridot (836) has posed:
Peridot tapped her lower lip for a moment. She had to start putting in the final touches. She wasn't entirely sure how much time she had left. How much longer she had before one of the various techs came in and interupted her work. A few ideas came to mind, and she found she had to choose one.

"I can't have you simply going to one of your 'experts' and having all this un-done." She murmured. "So... let's instill some loyality here. For the duration of your tenure as my bodygaurd, I'm going to need you to.. adore me, so to speak. So the idea of getting your programming fixed doesn't even come to mind." And she began typing away, she needed to modify Ferhams memories. Peridot doesn't take the time to go in and ready each memory, rather she quickly writes a alogrythm that goes through and injects imagery of herself into key places. While inventing new scenarios.

Memory one: Ferham is having a nice scoop of ice cream. It falls off the cone. Peridot suddenly shows up and gives her a new ice cream.

Memory two: In various highlights during the reploid freedom movement. Peridot replaces Command Epsilon as the leadng figure, leading the charge and kicking maverick hunter butt.

Memory Three: She's in the mines again. But there is a cave-in! A giant boulder is about to crush Ferham when Peridot shows up and stops the boulder from crushing her. Nevermind that Peridot's skinny as a nail, and holding up a boulder ten times her size. She seems to hold it up with ease.

Memory Four: Peridot is breaking the chains of enslaved reploids in the mines.

Memory Five: It's christmas! Ferham is unwrapping her presents and it's a big suit of shiny new armor. The tag says 'From Peridot'.

Memory Six: This was a routine repair, and Peri fixed her out of the goodness of her heart!

Generally these sorts of memories go on, and as the algorythm indicates it's complete via beeping on Peridot's monitor. The gem woman looks over to Ferham with an unsure expression, to gauge how the changes affected her.

Ferham (516) has posed:
Now it certainly wasn't every day that this sort of... invasion took place, of course, but the effects are definitely profound. There are now multiple references to the Gem-scientist in her memory she cannot account for, and this was going to definitely affect the way she thought about the gem-woman, at least for a while. Wait, when did she have a christmas...? she had celebrated it the last year, since she'd been here... was Peri there then? she can't seem to tell for sure.

Though still unmoving, Fer seemed to rouse a little, opening her eyes and blinking a little. "Woah, that was... a rush, is the diagnostic done?" she asked, looking over at Peridot as if she expected her to be there and was apparently quite comfortable with it, all things considered. Why wouldn't she be, after all?

Peridot (836) has posed:
Peridot looked at her unsure, squinting. Her programming was solid, though there was a large part of her that was suspicious that it may have been a trap- because Peridot herself was treacherous, she expected treachery of others. But, if she was acting, Ferham was doing a great job.

But, Peridot was confident, and so, she re-enabled Ferham's hardware, granting her mobility once more. Then nervously, and wide-eyed Peridot took a step back. Her holo-pad disappeared and her floating fingers sort of fidgeted with each other. "So... uh..." Her head turned away some, as if preparing to get punched.

"How do you feel?"

Ferham (516) has posed:
Ferham sat up from the examination chair, looking around as if she had just gotten up from a bit of a nap there. "Feel fine," she replied informally, likely all that data that had just been implanted in her was settling into place. "How're you doing? did you need anything?" oh, was a bit of the adoration showing there, perhaps? it was too early to say entirely for sure, but something had made the femmebot a bit more informal around the gem-woman, but did it work entirely as planned?

"I hope you got your scans and all that, how did I look?" Ferham made a little pose in that sitting position of putting her arms behind her head, all cheese-cake pinup style, apparently she seemed back to... normal? She was a terrible ham in showing off, when she wanted to be funny, anyway.

"I hope they were as delightful for you as giving them was for me," she began to swing herself off the chair and stand up, stretching--arms raised up high and that wasp-waist of hers cocked to one side, her wings making a subtle 'Rrr-rrr' noise as the motors inside whirred, spinning around a little bit before settling against her back again. She seemed... fine?

Peridot (836) has posed:
Peridot watched her, trying to brace for an impact without looking like she was bracing for impact. Though, no attack came. She wasn't frozen, and then subsequently electro-whipped. It looked like it had been a success. "So you do feel fine." She said, after a moment after Ferham confirmed it. Peridot relaxed a little, letting out a breath she didn't realize she was holding. More of a sigh of relief.

And then a smile came. "You feel fine." She went on confidently. She practically appeared giddy for a moment. "Hm.. hm-hmhmh.." She laughed into her cupped fingers. "Hm-hm.. ah-haha.. AH-HA!-HA!-HA!" She threw her arms up. "You feel fine! That's great!" Peridot curled her fingers into fist. "Finally somethings going my way!"

"Oh my, the two of us have a lot of work to do." She went on, wringing her fingers joyfully. "A lot of work."

Ferham (516) has posed:
"Jeez, not so loud, you're going to scare everyone in here--these humans are pretty easily alarmed," Ferham blinked and had to stop and stare at Peridot as she did her mad scientista laughter there. She even seemed to imply she had no idea what was so funny, thanks to the strange out of place-ness of it. "What's so funny?" she asked for a moment, before going to the door and checking to see if it was closed. It had been, apparently. "Got to be careful there--does your species even have to worry about cardiac arrest?" she raised a brow, shrugging.

"Oh? What are we going to do, then?" she seemed to be giving Peridot her full attention anyway, so something was drawing her attention back to the gem woman, despite that little... display there.

Peridot (836) has posed:
"Gems do not have blood, therefore we do not have hearts." Peridot answers, calming down a bit. She wasn't one to display outbursts like that, but things had been going so poorly for her since she became stranded. She found herself under an immense amount of stress, and It was hard not to celebrate a small victory as this.

Eventually though she straightened out her V-neck collar, and ran her fingers through her tetrahedron shaped hair to put a few stray strands back in place. She recomposed herself. "First we're going to visit my ship... and then, me and you are going to build a kindergarten." She smirked ominously.

Ferham (516) has posed:
"You seem like you've been under a lot of stress somehow, perhaps you should take a rest first? I happen to know several locations where you could," Fer leaned over and seemed to take stock of the gem-woman's state, apparently whatever programming Peri had set in there had taken effect after all. "You shouldn't put undue stress on yourself," then as Peri explained her plans after all, she nodded.

"I suppose, you have a ship?" she asked a little curiously, her high heeled boots clicking as she crossed the floor to the door. "Err, why a kindergarten?" dun dun duuun.
