Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
There is nothing familiar about this.

It's cold, strange and eerie, without a single sense of comfort.

Whatever this place is, it's been here for a long time. But still, however you found your way here is a mystery as well. No matter how hard you think, no memory comes to mind that would explain just why Mamimi is here.

But here you are, in the middle of the night.

Wherever this is, it's dark and indoors somewhere. At first glance it's rather hard to tell, as there's no major source of light anywhere. It's strangely quiet though, with just the echo of dripping water off in the distance. Moonlight does seem to filter in through some cracks in the ceiling, cast on a stone floor.

There's one thing however... Mamimi might check her pockets, but alas... all of her possessions are gone save for the clothes she's wearing. What a place to be in without a radio!

Mamimi Samejima (830) has posed:
She's been in these situations before.
Just not like this, though.
Whatever reason Mamimi is there, it doesn't matter to Mamimi - not until she wakes up.

Eyes flicker open as a ray of moonlight touches them. Where did she fall asleep again? Underneath a birdge, wasn't it? She had wandered around, got lost, and felt tired. Propping her bag against the wall, and her head on that bag, Mamimi went to sleep with a Takkun by her side and her 'belongings' beneath her head.

She couldn't see light above where she was sleeping.

"..Eh.... Takkun?" She asks, first of all, seeing no flapping object or square rock about. "Takkun, where did you go? ..." But there's a bigger issue, where is /she/? It hasn't ever happened that she was moved much. She's a light sleeper. Usually she would wake up before anything like that happened. As down as she is, as certain as she is that there is no future, it offsets her. There's no light. Only small beacons from the cracked ceiling. Hands dig into her pockets to produce a lighter - and for some cigarettes.

Nothing. Fingers spread open in disbelief, Mamimi twisting around to look for a bag, hands feeling where her head was - the ground cold, despite the warmth of her head against it from moments ago. "T...Takkun? This isn't funny..." He was the Lord of Time - but this was nothing about time. There was no flame, so it was not Cantido. It doesn't make any sense. It likely wouldn't.

Mamimi never really belonged anywhere - yet it has never been so familiar a feeling of not belonging as she faces now. "Is it a dream...?" To wake up like she did, with what she didn't, "...Can't be." However, once she brushes off her skirt, she turns around, trying to find a way 'out' of the place she had never went in. A door, perhaps.

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
There's no Takkun here. No bridge can be seen anywhere. If her bag is somewhere, it isn't here.

Once Mamimi gets to her feet she should have no problems locating that there is indeed a dark hallway leading out of the dark room. And in the end of the hallway there's more moonlight coming through cracks in the ceiling. And in here it's easier to see something too. While not every part of the large hall is illuminated, parts of it is. This place too is built in stone, with pillars keeping the ceiling up. Large stone coffins line the walls, some of them set into large niches in the walls. Water runs down one of the pillars, dripping into a pool on the side of the room.

From here there are three more hallways leading off into other hallways, each one on their own wall. So it seems that Mamimi can go either to the left, straight ahead, or to the right.

Mamimi Samejima (830) has posed:
A hallway. That's nice an conveniant. Mamimi follows it.
It isn't long before the hallway betrays her.
Beyond simply the atmosphere, that is.

Stone. That's the most obvious note of it - as if it has been here before her (that much is true) and will likely be here afterwards. All Mamimi knows is that it is cold... stone doesn't conduct heat well. Coffins, also in stone, catch her eye. What little she can see of them is enough to know she would likely not want to see much more. Water drips down to meet with her, yet Mamimi isn't thirsty. If anything, she doesn't like water.

Especially when you're thrown into it enough.

"Takkun...?" She asks again, especially when she comes across the three hallways, three walls. The 'right' back, she does not follow. She never followed it before, so she decides against it. To follow the straight and narrow, Mamimi ... never has, either. There's not so much of a thought process behind it for Mamimi.

She turns left, peeking down the hallway first before moving through, a slow and stready pace. She has no light and can barely see - Mamimi simply attempting to get out of ... wherever 'here' was. Being alone... that didn't so much bother her, though. It's just the entire atmosphere...

She didn't /feel/ alone. Her gaze sometimes moving behinds her, arms wrapped about her midsection in the cold air.

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
There's no reply as Mamimi calls out for Takkun. Nobody else responds for that matter, as this place is quiet save for the dripping of the water and the echo of Mamimi's voice. It's nearly equally dark down the left hallway as she peeks down the hallway. The floor is steady and smooth, which reduces the chances of tripping and falling, luckily.

There are no sounds coming from behind however, and nothing can be seen in what little light falls down on the floor in the main hall.

The chill of this place continues even into the left chamber, though the air in here is not only cold... it's stale. Something smells... or rather, reeks.

And then suddenly... something is thrown through the air towards Mamimi... a rock?!

In the dark chamber something else can be heard through, scurrying and rapid breath.

No, it seems that Mamimi isn't alone.

Mamimi Samejima (830) has posed:
"Creeepy..." Mamimi says, almost offhandedly.
The lack of smokes, the lack of anything, is getting to her.
There's no usual downer - usually life is slow. Nothing happens.

This is anything but that, at the moment. Nothing is actually happening, but nothing needs to. The hallway is followed. Steady, smooth floor that at least allows her to follow it, as slow and unwillingly as she does. Despite that, the chill of the place is permeating. If only that though. Eventually, Mamimi smells something worse than the air of her cigarettes, something wafting through the air.

Rather, it's all over. Mamimi can't get rid of the stench.

Physically recoiling when she 'places' the smell, it allows the thrown rock to only clip her instead of hitting her directly on, Mamimi gasping almost instantly as the rock clips her skin, hitting and bouncing against the smooth floor, clattering. "Ah?! ..." Silent and still, Mamimi begins to be after that. Eyes try to make something out in the darkness, but it's only her nature to poke where she shouldn't be. "This isn't hide and seek... I'm lost, you know?" She speaks to the darkness, "Did you end up here, too?" As if they would answer.

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
Darkness rules the chamber, but as Mamimi's eyes adjust to the darkness she should be able to make out a shape in the corner, something that's huddling together. Whatever it is, it's breathing quickly and shallowly, as if panicked. Or in pain.

"P-please...!" The voice is relatively young and female. And there's no mistaking it, she is afraid. "Please stay away from me!" she pleads, pulling up against the wall as if trying to get as far away from Mamimi as possible.

Mamimi Samejima (830) has posed:
Darkness may rule it over, but Mamimi is a future witch of black flame!
In her mind.
Right now, she's frightened, edging on delirious.

Something huddled together, breathing, panicked - or hurt? Mamimi isn't familiar, or doesn't recognize it immediately. Of course, she can understand it better when Mamimi hears the girl, or woman's, voice. Head tilting a bit, Mamimi grows closer. Eyes peering in the darkness, almost lording over the young woman. "Huh? ALl alone in this creepy and freaky place, and you want me to stay away?"

It makes her forget her fear for a moment, "Nope." Is her response as she grows closer, leaning forwards. "Nearly hit me with the rock too... why'd you throw it?" Asking the tough, hard questions. "You're stuck with me now." She notes, "So you're going to have to make it up to me."

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
"No, you have to say away! Please...!" the girl continues. Judging by the sound of her voice she's in her late teens, though she's a bit on the smallish side. Is she shivering? Quite possibly. It doesn't look like she's properly dressed for such a cold place. "I don't want you to get hurt!"

Even as Mamimi draws closer, the girl remains pressed up against the wall, burying the side of her face against it. Her long, curly hair hides most of her face as it cascades over her shoulders. "I... I just want to get out, but... you shouldn't be here! You weren't here before!"%

Mamimi Samejima (830) has posed:
Leaning over the girl, still, Mamimi doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
Small, even by Mamimi's teenish standards.
They're about the same, aren't they?

"Nope." She repeats, though the fear in her voice is definitely something she can understand. She had fear once like that too. Then he showed up. ... Maybe he'd show up again? It's not the same though, there wasn't a signal-fire. "I don't want to be hurt, either." Mamimi states with an almost care-less attitude.

She doesn't understand anything here... but even if it's a terrible place, an oppressive one, Mamimi already had nothing planned in her life. "I'm here now, though. I want to get out, too." Almost puffing up her cheeks, Mamimi leans forwards. "Well if you've been here for a while, you'd know more about this place anyways, so lets go! It's kind of cold and sitting there isn't going to get you out." She notes, "Though it is kind of roomy... where is this?" She asks. Apparently being unapathetic is a thing she is good at.

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
Is that a whimper that leaves the girl? Quite possibly.

Though she seems more and more uncomfortable the closer Mamimi gets.

Nothing is said to her comment being here for a while, nor about how much she knows. Instead she shakes her head again. "You should stay away from me..." she repeats weakly instead. "And we can't get out, I've looked. I..." Here the girl sobs slightly, burying her face against the wall fully, though a pained sound leaves her.

    "We're... in a grave."

Mamimi Samejima (830) has posed:
A whimper that Mamimi doesn't seem to hear.
She may be a tiny bit pressuring. Just a tiny bit.
It doesn't seem to be changing.

"You're the only other person here, that'd be stupid." Mamimi states, as if it was a simple fact. Still, the girl responds that they cannot get out. That they can't. That they're stuck there. It takes a moment for Mamimi to register it. She thinks of all the people that would miss her when she is gone. A second later, she speaks up.

"For real?" Mamimi asks, surprised. "Who buried us?" Comes the actual question, but Mamimi looks about for real now. A grave. Dark. Cold. It does fit them all, doesn't it? "Being dead doesn't real feel any different from being alive." She remarks, assuming she means they were dead. "I wonder how I died..."

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
The girl merely whimpers some more even as Mamimi asks more of her questions, shaking her head as she is obviously crying. "We... we're not dead. Not yet." Her tone is rather dejected. "I... I don't even know why they put you in here, you... you're not like me."

Mamimi Samejima (830) has posed:
With a peering look, Mamimi pressures the girl more.
What even IS asking a name or for help?
"Well if we're not dead yet, why are we in a grave?"

Still, Mamimi's curiosity is peaked as she leans even more in. "What do you mean not like me? I'm a teenager like you are, and I don't want to be here." Mamimi claims, "What is different about us? Oh, about you? C'mon, spill the beans." Mamimi's words pressure more, the worst kind of person she is. "If you keep talking like that I'm just going to leave you here alone while I get out."

Medusa Gorgon (22) has posed:
When Mamimi leans in closer... the girl /shrieks/. She scurries backwards, pressing herself up against the corner and pulls her arms up to cover her face. It's still dark in the chamber, but... it does look like there's something on the girl's arms? Almost as if she's wearing a heavily textured shirt.

"N-no, don't... I want to get out too, I... just... don't touch me! Please," she gasps in fright.

That's when she looks up at Mamimi with a pleading look in her dark, mournful eyes.

And as she does, Mamimi might notice something off about her. The side of her face that she kept pressed against the wall is bleeding. Or oozing, as there are several blisters there, some of them torn open.

It's not cloth covering her arms... it's even more blisters and scars.

Dark tears run down her face as she sniffles slightly. "I... don't want you to die like I will."

Breathing is so much harder when you gasp for breath, lungs starved and heart hammering rapidly in your chest. But in the next moment Mamimi opens her eyes... and finds herself staring up at the bridge above her, with the setting sun offering some warmth against the gentle breeze and fresh air.

Mamimi Samejima (830) has posed:
There's such a thing as respecting personal space.
Mamimi still doesn't.

Maybe she wishes she does. Even closer, Mamimi gets the sight of something. Her shirt? She can't really tell. It has to be something, though. It's kinda weird. If she had a sweater, that'd make sense - but it isn't, is it? Mamimi still can't quite make it out. "What? You've never heard of the buddy system? If it's horror, if you go alone you'll definitely die." She notes, as if she is a very well informed individual!

There's a pleading look that even Mamimi is pierced by. "I guess it's f-" Then there's an oozing wall. No, that's not the wall. That was her face. Or is her face. A combination of is and was, but nothing quite the same as Mamimi crashing down onto her rear, doing a 90 degree exchange from leaning forwards to leaning a bit up and back, faltering over. It all comes together. Dark tears, what she can only assume is blood or something worse, and those words. "No, no no- TASUKU-SENSEI!" She yells out, covering her eyes as if she can make it go away, her breathe fast, heavy. ... Heavier. Heavier. "Tasuku... sempai... not like.... this...."

Eyes open immediately, the delinquent leaning up and nearly standing in but moments, hands running up and down herself as she stands there, silent, despite the gentle breeze, air, and heat. They do little to remove the sight in her eyes, still burned there. A dream?

If it was, it would have been something else. It wasn't really a dream, was it? "Who were you, even...?" She asks no one, finally. Before Tasuku bumps into her, causing her to leap up and away a bit - "Tasuku!" Mamimi hugs that rock.

She hugs that rock like it would never leak blood, because if it did she would REALLY be not hugging it right now.
