Assault on Tres Estate
Date of Scene: 20 September 2015
Location: Techno Urbania
Synopsis: Linne K. Park calls upon her allies to rescue her Master. It goes poorly.
Cast of Characters: 323, 399, 516, Sanary Rondel, 877

Linne (877) has posed:
An alert goes out to Confederate forces about a recently Unified world. Most importantly, it's one that a newly recruited member knows about. The world of JoJo's Earth is like many, many others on the surface, and so it's easy to fly in Confederate forces to the Tres Family estate. On board the generic aircraft, Linne K. Park looks uncharacteristically worried.

Clutching what appears to be a stiff-bristled broom, the woman looks over those gathered.

"Thank you all for coming. Let me come to the point quickly. My Master is under assault by unknown mercenary forces. They seem heavily armed, with at least one tank. My girls are defending to the best of their abilities, but to be frank, a dozen maids cannot defend against an assault like this."

She hands out maps to the assembled group. The estate is a two-story victorian era home, and it's utterly palacial. There's the front grounds covered by a heavy iron gate, trimmed hedges, a brick walkway towards the house itself. There's also an interior map. Some particularly notable spots are the master bedroom and study, both located on the second floor, on the east wing of the building.

"That is all we know. If possible, we need to destroy the mercenaries and repel them. But Mistress Tres' safety is our top priority. Even the maidstaff is secondary to that." There's a slight quiver in her voice, but she quickly steels herself.

The airplane makes a somewhat questionable landing on a street leading towards the estate itself. The group can see the iron gates that have been ran over, presumably by the tank. There's several cars outside, and the sounds of gunfire can be heard. Linne doesn't waste time, leaping through the air in a wide arc. Those paying close attention can see what appear to be metallic feet occasionally shifting from inside Linne's own.

"Keep up!"

She pauses, and takes a listen as she reaches the gates, ducking behind a brick suporting column.

Out in the front yard of the estate, there's a dozen men in flak jackets and wielding high-powered rifles. A few lay dead, and most are taking cover in the various hedges. There's a tank in the middle of the grounds pouring machine gun fire into the front doors of the mansion, that are utterly destroyed. A small pile of dead maids adorn the front door. From the windows, there's the occasional rifle shot, the defenders fighting back bravely, but hopelessly outgunned and outnumbered.

"We must destroy that tank first." She 'looks' to the others, a brief moment for everyone to get in position and form a plan.

Ferham (516) has posed:
Ferham had heard about the plight of the Tres family, and so she is one of the first responders. Descending in a small pod-like dropship, the craft soon descends from the lower atmosphere and opens up--clamshell style. It's one of the most durable forms of packaging known to man, after all. Once it opens up, Ferham is left in a free fall, her gravity drive quickly compensating as she begins to slow until she dips down head-first, her red metallic wings flaring out as she begins to fly normally. High-heeled and red armored valkyrie bot, ready for duty and on quick dispatch. The femmebot actually has a small sonic boom accompanying her as she is down and close to the middle of the battle, assessing the situation before that cryo-generator of hers begins to fire up and her pink laser-like whip lashes out, in a menacing-warning shot style fashion at first, at least.

Taro (399) has posed:
Worry for one's master is only natural. To not be worried about him or her in a situation like this would suggest that something has gone wrong in that relationship.
Though the emergency call for aid gave him little time to formally prepare, Taro donned his armour and called two of his favorite cyber-elves to join him before meeting the others on the tarmac. His diminutive associates perch one apiece on his shoulders during the flight, twinkling quietly and generally not being too distracting to him or to the others. Hopefully.
He takes the map when so offered. It may appear that he's given it only a casual glance before he closes his eyes, but he's giving the layout of the mansion and grounds careful scrutiny now that he has the image in his mind. The master suite is noted of course, along with the major hallways and stairwells, and the places where either the attackers or the defenders could hold or be cut off. "What does Mistress Tres look like?" he asks of Linne. "Also, Are there any internal defenses?"
The landing is of the kind from which they can all walk away, and so the android does not complain. He'll follow the others to the mansion-turned-battlefield, brow furrowing at the evident destruction thus far. His gaze then shifts briefly to the others. "I may be able to do something to disable the tank, or at least make it less troublesome. Could any of you actually destroy it?"

Vanessa Selby (323) has posed:
Vanessa's ears fold back with the gunfire? Just who did her master upset? There was never a tank driven up to the front door of her parent's mansion. Sure, there were assassination attempts on them but nothing like this. Mistress Tres must be rich to be able to afford all this. At least it should be worth her trouble right? "Well, I don't think it'll be able to do much if it's frozen solid right? And who exactly are we dealing with her?" It wouldn't hurt to know what they're up against right?

Sanary Rondel has posed:
It's never a bad time to gain the trust of new allies! Especially if they've got a fancy big house to explore and laze about in sometime in the future. Sanary's with the group in that aircraft, doing her best not to laugh inappropriately at anything even remotely related to being trapped in a flying metal deathtrap.

She still needs to work on that.

"So we just need to wipe those mercs out, then. Hopefully without losing too many of your staff in the process..." The healer takes a deep breath as she checks her gear, dressed in her lighter Lagombi armor with the Daora Casca's kite shield on her back. She's also carrying a Physic staff and her trusty gunaxe on each side of her hips, the former looking particularly new and probably not even used once yet.

Hopefully, it won't need too much use as she follows Linne out of the plane, albeit at a somewhat slower pace from not being able to leap as far as the maid does. "I don't think I can /destroy/ the tank, but I can keep it occupied while you disable it. Maybe even take control of it and have some fun with it." The healer flashes Taro a brief grin before turning back to that group of enemy combatants, watching Ferham getting to work already.

"Can't let her take all the glory. Okay!" Sanary steels herself to do a dumb thing before doing just that! She breaks off from the group at the entrance to circle around the tank, although she's not trying to be quiet about it by any means. Rather, she's shouting madly and firing blasts of lightning from her gunaxe at the tank and the soldiers gathered around it. They're not well-aimed by any means, intended more to draw their attention while also hoping for some lucky hits.

"Come on, you shitbags! You couldn't hit a legless baby with those guns!"

Linne (877) has posed:
Ferham's descent in a pod of all things more than gets the attention of the mercenaries. Even the machine gun fire slackens after a moment, and a few of the living maids are dragged by their fellows inside.

One or two mercenaries are picked off by stray gunshots. These maids are good for mundane warriors. Particularly /maids/!

One of the mercenaries hiding in the hedges spies Ferham, and tries to go after her with his gun! But a quick swipe of her laser-whip has the thing going flying. He screams in fright, landing on his rear. Trembling, he goes for his sidearm.

"What /are/ you!?" He's never seen a reploid, or someone in such odd armor.

The soldiers seem reluctant to fire on her at first!

TAro gets quick answers from Linne, and there's a picture being passed around the Fed local net for everyone to see. The Lady Anne Tres is a tall, striking woman in her early forties, with barely a wrinkle or imperfection with slightly greying blonde hair.

"None, aside from our personelle. About twenty servants in all, everyone is trained for combat, but not against a real military unit." She grits her teeth, biting back a snarl.

"And I do not know how many are left."

As for the tank? Vanessa and Taro both get nods from the woman.

"Miss Selby, please freeze it as well as you can. I will assault the soldiers alongside Miss Ferham. No need to wipe them all out, this might be a diversion. Better to ensure as many of the staff and the Master are recovered than worry about the home. Mister Taro? Can you make a run for the entranceway and secure any information from the survivors? We will all follow you once the mercenaries are bewildered." Material goods are replaceable, after all. They have amazing insurance. Sanary's initial estimate of the situation was far too true.

And then Sanary goes running off! Linne gasps!

"M...Miss Rondel, be careful! Everyone! Shall we?" Linne, for her part, reaches into her skirts and pulls out a pair of feather dusters. They harden into sharp steel, and she tosses them at the sound of one of the machine guns on the tank. Whack whack! The gun is quickly disabled, and Sanary only has one gun spraying bullets at her! Though her gun-axe blasts score the tank, it doesn't do much else, but does discourage the soldiers from attacking! Can she dodge!?

Then Linne wades into battle, her hardened mop slamming into soldiers as she leaps and dances about the battlefield gracefully. Whenever bullets can't be dodged, parts of her french maid outfit turn to steel, taking the blow or deflecting them. Five of the soldiers go down in quick succession before she's leaping from hedge to hedge, drawing confused gunfire as the mercenaries' morale breaks down on the sudden combined assault.

More worryingly, that tank's gun is aiming towards the second story! Right at where the master study is!

Should Taro manage to bust into the front door, he'll find it's a mess: the stairs leading upward have several holes, but still enough to get up top. There's more dead maids everywhere. From the looks of things, their forces have been cut in half, if not more. A purple haired maid with a shotgun finishes patching up another maid.

"Oh thank God, are you reinforcements? We've held them off so far, and Miss Tres is in the study!"

From the second story, there's the sound of shattering glass. A diversion!?

Ferham (516) has posed:
Thankfully for these men, Ferham has her whip set to stun--or rather relatively non-deadly. "I'd have you not attack this family, if you'd be so kind," Ferham smirks a little as she adopts a bit of a cheesecake sort of pose as she folds her arms behind her head and stretches herself out into a luxurious reclining pose for a moment. "Please don't attack all these nice maids, eh boys? it would make me really happy if you didn't," of course, on the first sign of aggression she'd ditch that pose and that whip would be flaring out. Can the red and pink armored cheesecake distraction buy the maids any time that they need to get to cover? She gives a deep sigh and arches her back, looking like some kind of winged valkyrie on her photoshoot break, or the like.

Taro (399) has posed:
The most efficient way to reach the entrance hall from the outer gate is to circumvent the battlefield between entirely. Thus, after a nod of agreement to Linne, he vanishes in a dark flash...
...Three seconds later, he reappears in another dark flash at the heavily damaged front doors. Taking advantage of a small hole already punched through, he punches his armor-gloved fist through the gap, then reaches through fumble for and then unlatch the blot so he can open the door. "Linne sent me!" he shouts, in hopes that the maids don't make him their next target.
Once in, he quickly shuts the door behind him and relatches it. A quick glance around the foyer, and his brow furrows. "This place is no longer defensible," he says in assessment. "It would be wise to fall back."
Shattering glass from above. the android's brow furrows further. "Can your master defend herself?"

Vanessa Selby (323) has posed:
Well, at least no one said anything about Vanessa's appearance. Which is good because provoking her with all the chaos going on around them nightnot be a good idea. Since she's certainly going to need her full attention to freeze the tank. She ducks behind one of the hedges with her hands reaching up to cover her ears. The fox-woman gazes at the tank carefully and several thin layers of ice start to cover the tank.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
"Heh.. I'll be fine! I can fix it, no pro-" Sanary's boast is cut off by a spray of bullets, just barely able to get her shield up in time to keep her torso from being turned into ground meat. She's holding her ground rather well with that shield to keep her intact, although a few bullets do bypass her guard in grazing her sides and one even going right through part of her side.

"... N-no problem!" She's definitely sounding better than she feels, focusing her energy on that main wound to keep it from bleeding too much before turning her attention back to the tank. at least it appears to have its attention on her for the time being rather than Vanessa or Ferham, and she's even able to squeeze a few more lightning shots at some of the other soldiers closer to it while continuing to duck behind her shield. Those shots have to stop sooner or later, right?

"You get one chance! Leave now, surrender, or die!" Everything sensible in her is yelling at her to follow Taro inside, but... Well. She's already out here with the shield, so might as well play the part of the wild card.

Linne (877) has posed:
Notably, the mercenaries have no real insignia on them, no identifying company. Real illegal or black ops stuff here! But there /is/ a rather distracting woman in front of them. More than one soldier is sporting a nose-bleed, and some of their fire has slackened off.

"H...how about going on a date with us instead of helping those stupid mai..." Konk! A metal broom to the back of the head courtesy of Linne.

"I would appreciate it, gentlemen, if you did not treat Miss Ferham poorly." Protector of a fellow Lady, this maid. She actually manages to land atop a hedge, do what could best be described as a backwards-bending curtsey after she kicks off the top of a soldier's head, knocking him out, all in traditional JoJo's posing style. How she can flex like that so easily is anyone's guess!

Ferham's distraction, and then a resulting whip or two at a few of the guards buys time for the still living maids to form up with their injured comrades. Taro 'knocks' on the door in his special way, and there's a dozen guns being pointed at him. But they quickly lower. Linne's name has weight here.

The remaining maids nod to each other. "Yes. We'll get Lady Tres and..." Glass.

"No! We have a bodyguard, but..." There's too many dead. These guys are /good/.

The maids gulp hard.

"We'll...distract them. If they brought a tank to this, then whoever is going after Mistress might be...like Lady Linne." The maid cautions. Several of the maids get ready to evacuate the worst of the wounded. The fighting-fit maids begin pouring gunfire, taking out impressive numbers of soldiers in their renewed zeal and fear. At this rate, the mercenaries will be wiped out, though at a heavy cost. A few other gunshots signal the last acts of loyalty by the few maids too wounded to be dragged out.

Sanary is peppered with gunfire, and indeed they eventually stop. With the odds now finally turning against them, several soldiers look about to retreat. And then, with Sanary distracting them and using her shield against bullets, Vanessa acts.

The tank freezes over. It locks the gunners in, but most importantly? That ice reaches the barrel in time. It doesn't reach the firing mechanisms, but causes the metal in the gun to become brittle. When that massive shell fires, there's a chain reaction: the gun shatters, killing several soldiers instantly, before the shell erupts within the remains of the barrel, cooking off the fuel tanks within the tank itself. From ice to fire, the men inside and more than two-thirds of the soldiers lay dead, dieing, or simply unconscious.

"F...full retreat! We've done our part!"

It seems Sanary will get her ultimatum.

Linen rushes into the building, and spies her subordinates. She's quick to issue orders.

"Where is the Mistress!? Wounded, get going. We bury our dead another day. Everyone? Come along." The blind head maid is joined by a green haired maid with a pistol as she waits for her fellow Elites to regroup.

Then she leads the rush to the study. The door has been opened. Inside? A tall man in a pink shirt and slacks, with glasses and black hair has Anne Tres in his arms. She's been grabbed from behind. The pink haired maid, presumably her bodyguard, lays unconscious on the floor. Her face is frozen in fear.

"Lady Tres!" Calls Linne. The poor woman just shivers.

The man tsk's.

"If ya don't want the nice lady to lose 'er throat, ya might wanna let me 'escort' her away." Offers the man. There's the sound of a helicopter lowering from the air, guns pointed at the window.

Ferham (516) has posed:
Seeing as her ploy has worked over well enough, Ferham flicks her whip out again, dropping the cheesecake pose. "Cool off, gentlemen," Ferham raised her arms ala Storm and suddenly the trees and foliage around them would suddenly flash freeze, leaving the area difficult to traverse for the un-marked soldiers. "Okay, how's it going with their artillery?" she asks Linne, surprised at the sudden freezing up of that too. "Someone else is a cold manipulator on this team?" the femmebot seems definitely surprised at this, keeping her altitude low as she hovers along between the trees along with the maids. She stopped as she was confronted by this mysterious man once inside the maid's headquarters. She wasn't about to make a move now and risk anyone being executed in a hostage situation like this, at least she wouldn't without any signal from Linne. "Just stay calm, nobody has to get hurt, okay?" her voice cool, almost a purr.

Taro (399) has posed:
There's not much Taro can do for the wounded that they aren't already doing for themselves. Cyber-elves can only heal machines, and Nurse Gorgon makes unhappy noises whenever he attempts to practice organic medicine. Thus, he gives one of his 'elves other instructions. "Sitta. Go find Lady Tres. Lead her here if you can."
'Right away!' the twinkling light on his left shoulder warbles in an electronic voice, then alights to fly up the holed staircase and out of sight. Not that it would have been able to do anything about the lady of the house being a hostage...
Linne joins them then, and since it appears that the wounded are able to reteat on their own, he'll follow her and the others up toward the study. Too late, it seems. His eyes narrow in an icy glare. "This is foolishness. Release her."

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Were they actually hitting on Ferham out here of all places? Idiots. Sanary lets out a low sigh as she readies that gunaxe again, grunting in pain with each tank bullet sending the impact through the shield and into her arm. Thankfully, Vanessa's ice seems to have done the trick, if the exploding cannon and retreating mercenaries are any indication.

"Your part...? Ah, shit." Sounding even more irritated at the fact that they might have just been distracted from the true objective, the healer's not above firing a few more blasts of lightning into those mercenaries' backs out of spite before regrouping with Linne and the others inside. She'll even direct some healing magic towards those who come close enough for her to do it! She can't forget to do her job here as THE HEALER, after all.

And once they find Lady Tres with her attempted captor? Sanary raises her gunaxe yet again while keeping magical energy swirling about near (but not quite in) her magitech eye.

"Actually, here's how it's gonna go. Either you put your head on the ground and beg for mercy now, or we can turn you into paste." A particularly nasty grin appears on the healer's face as she stares straight at pink shirt man. She's been practicing her deranged asshole face lately, hasn't she?

She totally has. "And if she happens to get killed while we do it? Whatever. We've got the tech to bring her bang, anyway. You don't. So... Your move~"

Vanessa Selby (323) has posed:
That's not quite Vanessa had intended but it works. It leaves her a bit drained and she takes her a moment to recover. "Did you think you were the only cryokinetic in the Multiverse?" She overhears Ferham's comment as she slowly makes her way inside, she's not exactly the speedy type. Once inside she notices that the Mistress is being held hostage, "Did you see what happened to the tank outside? It can just as easily happen to the helicoper." They wouldn't likely get far if they did try to escape.

Linne (877) has posed:
A few of the mercenaries, between adrenaline, their wounds, exhaustion, and that lovely pose of Ferhams? Just drop unconscious, and several more konk out on frozen trees, felled by the frozen foliage!

The forces are truly in shambles!

Inside, things are far more dire. The man just smirks.

"That's right. Jus' let us take the Lady, and none of ya need to get hurt!"

Taro similarly gets a smirk.

"Nah. This here is a hostage situation, son! I release her, and ya lot ice me! I got a choppa' out there anyway! So be niiiice and cool..."

Sanary's healing has several would-be-dead maids limping off. There's grateful looks, from both Linne and the staff. Given the amount of loyalty being shown tonight, it's not something that will be forgotten.

The man actually flinches as Sanary plays the horrid killer. Linne, for her part, goes several shades paler. She looks at Sanary with something between pure fear, and a sudden killing desire.

She's bluffing. She has to be. She has to trust Lady Tres on this!

"Yer jokin'!" Comes the pink-shirted man, but he's backing away. The Lady in his arms, but he looks scared now.

The man has had enough.

"Awwww shut it, fox-ears!"

He concentrates, and yells aloud!

"THE DOORS!" A tall, pink, lanky figure emerges behind him, and raises its hands!

The Stand's power activates, and a door erupts beneath each of our Confederates! To Ferham, there's a trapdoor into a room full of what appears to be a...pool of chocolate? The heat from the area might suggest it'd be highly unhealthy for a normal person. But could a Ferrybot avoid the door pulling her in, or otherwise survive a sticky experience?

Taro would find a literal wall of swords, like out of some kind of armory, being thrust from below at him!

Sanary would find herself being dragged down too! This time it's right outside the manner, falling towards the helicopter and its blades!

Vanessa gets a door. There's an entire tank barrel aimed right at her face, and the sounds of something clicking. It's reloading! Time to act!

Linne gets her own personal door! Ten men step out, their guns at the ready! She can't dodge this close!

A metal maiden emerges from behind her, and it amonst the soldiers immediately!

"IRON MAIDEN! URYA URY URY URY URYAAAAAA!" Comes the woman with her Stand Cry, each touch from the odd Stand leaving behind a solid statue. Afew of them fire. She's left not bleeding, but her body is covered in iron, and definitely shot up. She'll need medical attention.

The enemy Stand User is leaping for the windows with Lady tres in tow!

Vanessa Selby (323) has posed:
Vanessa frowns a bit at the man's remark but she has more important matters to deal with. Like an entire tank barrel aimed at her face. She thought she destroyed it, did time just get rewinded or something? Oh well, at least she didn't get the room full of molten chocolate. Freezing the tank barrel wouldn't work this time, it would explode right in her face. Instead she freezes the area below her trying to crush the door and the tank barrel with a massive ice block.

Taro (399) has posed:
Taro bristles at being called 'son', but...that thought is entirely interrupted by Sanary's impressively frightening intimidation.
    ...
A good thing they're both on the same side.
The android steps forward as hostage-taker and hostage back toward the window, but any intent of rushing them is thwarted by the sudden appearance of an open trapdoor beneath his feet. For a brief moment, his glare is replaced by a look of almost comical befuddlement as he falls through.
An armory of swords rushes up at him as his armor's wings unfurl, and his other elf clings desperately to a lock of his hair to keep from tumbling away itself. It's almost but not quite too late to save him - one of the blades pieces his left shin clean through, and others slice his armored boots - but his wings arrest his fall before he becomes a complete android pincushion.
Meanwhile, his other cyber-elf flies after Tres and her abductor. Not that it can do a thing to stop them, but at least it can try to follow.

Ferham (516) has posed:
Ferham however doesn't notice the door opening beneath her in time, so when the sudden drop is introduced, she can't compensate with her gravity-flight to keep herself from going plooshing into the... chocolate? There is little sound from her, completely submerged in the chocolate--until her head breaks the surface, she first clears her mouth, then her face off as well as she can. "Well... there have been stranger things I've been covered in," she then looks back up to the top of the trap door before trying to pull herself out of the molten chocolate pool and carry herself up via her flight to grab the edges of the trapdoor frame. Which will probably take her a moment to pull herself through, unless the door tries to shut on her. In which case she'll have to wrench it open to get out. She just hopes that isn't fast-drying chocolate, or anything--it'll be unfortunate to wind up as a chocolate-covered Ferham for easter.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Looks like that bluff didn't work as well as expected. Sanary doesn't even have the time to fire off a warning shot near the pink-shirted man before she's pulled into her trapdoor! Luckily, she's falling at the right angle to actually see what she's falling at. Unluckily for her, it just so happens to be freaking HELICOPTER BLADES.

"Shit shit shit shit!" At least she's got the AANS on her legs under all that fuzzy armor and a big, sturdy shield! Flinging her legs downwards to try and get a better angle (along with her shield to try and damage the blades directly), she pumps a massive amount of energy into those anklets to slow her fall considerably.

The good news: Sanary does stop short of getting diced to bits! The bad news: It's not quite enough to keep one of her feet from dipping too far down, and it gets sliced off relatively cleanly at the ankle. Without the second anklet in place to maintain her balance, Sanary goes spiraling out of control in mid-air and eventually makes a crash landing just outside the manor's main building.

At least she isn't falling at the helicopter blades anymore.

Linne (877) has posed:
This barrel at least looks slightly smaller, perhaps. Hard to tell up this close. And...is that concrete and a /harbor/ near the tank? There's no rivers nearby, much less oceans. What /are/ these Doors!?

But more impossibly for the foxess, she quickly reacts, and the Door is frozen solid in ice! It slams back shut with a low 'krump' of a tank shot, and then it fades away back to the original floor that was there.

TAro is slashed and cut up by the armory blades! Yet he manages to avoid being utterly skewered! The Door starts to slam closed.

If he checks his gps-alike, he'd note that he's in a local museum of military history several hundred miles from the mansion.

The elf makes it through!

Ferham is covered with delicious dark chocolate! It burst like heck, and sticks. Tasty though! Her hands would be a bit slippery, but with her reploid physique, isn't reduced to the Easter Reploid! When she climbs out, the Door slams shut.

"Wah! How're you idiots alive!? Shouldn't you be a cheesecake chocolate easter girl by now!?"

Poor Sanary becomes a heli-victim. The landing is right into the hedges, thank god, and there's an escaping maid quick to tend to her now horrible wound. She even collects the foot.

But that powerful armor mangled the chopper's blades, and now it's rushing for the window. The pink-shirted man panicks.

Linne has a choice to make. If she doesn't act, then her Mistress will get skewered along with the rest of them. She rushes to the window!

"Iron Maiden!" The Stand appears, and punches the window repeatedly, forming hard steel over steel. The chopper crashes. One blade runs through the window, her ability not fast enough!

And catches the pink shirted man in the rhoat. He gurgles.

"Tha...oors..." His last act is to tear open a door between Anne and the floor, who falls in. It slams shut.

He falls limp. Linne, for her part, falls to her knees.

She screams and howls in fury, her Stand raging, tearing up the floor and room. It'd be wise to leave, lest one get caught by flying wood shards as it all catches up to her.

Taro (399) has posed:
Taro makes a note to visit this museum again, perhaps with Nine, albeit during normal hours of operation and when it is not otherwise trying to skewer him.
The door above him is closing, and he rushes upward with a burst of countergrav to reach it before he's trapped. There's a moment of silent consternation as he realizes his wingspan is wider than the frame, and so after one last burst of speed, he folds them and hopes the momentum is enough to carry him through.
The landing is less than graceful when he lands on the once again solid floor, but at least he is on the right floor when he falls on hand and knee. Perhaps it's just as well that he did, as it's faster to fall flat when the helicopter crashes into the side of the mansion.
There's splinters and shards and plaster and fury sailing all around him now, and he raises his hand to try and keep the worst out of his eyes. Spying the one maid still unconscious on the floor, he pushes himself into a crouch to crawl over to her and drag her to the relative safety of the hallway.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Sanary does not sound pleased, judging from the constant string of curses coming from that hedge. The worst part? She can't even heal the wound properly without risking not being able to put her foot back on properly later. Thankfully, there's a maid around to bring her that foot!

Still, she's not really in any condition to go after anyone at this point or even get inside the manor. No, the healer's content to just stay in that bush for now, barely able to keep herself from passing out from the sheer pain while also trying to get that foot back onto her just enough to make it back to proper medical care.

She'll have to talk to Linne about the rest of the details later.

Ferham (516) has posed:
"Huh, this might be a good look for me," Ferham splutters a bit as she pulls herself up from the trap door, getting back to her feet. She is utterly /covered/ in chocolate, dripping with it, as steam rises up off her. "Is everyone alright? Taro? Sanary?" she looks around, spotting the maid passed out. "We need to get her back to the base to medical, lets go," Ferham moves to help extract them.

Vanessa Selby (323) has posed:
Vanessa's just hoping Anne's still alive after all that. After all it's pretty unlikely there'll be any reward if she got killed. Plus, it would make all this largely pointless. She shields her eyes from the flying debris and yawns a bit. All of this has her worn out, it's to go find some place cool and pass out for a while.
