Souji Murasame (627) has posed:
A conference room has been set aside in the Murasame Building for this meeting. It is unusual for multiversal invaders to arrive, and even more so to be so... diffident about attempting conquest. Souji, however, is not one to passup an opportunity when he sees it, and as such has left word that he is willing to negotiate to potentially provide these beings something they may require.

All that remains is the details. Louise, the woman identified as their negotiator, will be shown from the lobby into the building, and to the conference room where Souji stands, waiting patiently. "Ah, welcome." He says, his voice warmly businesslike. "You must be Louise, I presume? Please, be seated. Would you like any refreshments before we begin?"

Shinki (882) has posed:
Louise is flanked by two of her own Koakuma, devil girls with head and back wings along with that spaded tail and fortunately, all three are dressed for this occasion. Done up in buisness attire like they read in magazines in some worlds, they enter the lobby and then shown to the room. "Good afternoon. Souji was it?" Louise questions, waving her girls away, "Stand outside the door please, girls."

Moving to take a seat, she gives a smile and a nod, "I am. A demon from Makai, though I know I don't look like it from some storybooks. Would green tea be fine, Souji? Water if you do not have it." she leans back in the chair, moving to get comfortable, "I will have you know I'm unused to such comforts as these chairs and this room. Sitting under a kotatsu and wearing casual clothing is usually the style. I do hope that this is not displeasing to you though, the attire that is."

Souji Murasame (627) has posed:
"Green tea is available." Souji walks over to a cabinet and produces a bone china tea set, laying it out upon the table with cups and plates in a precise manner that speaks of constant practice. Water is poured into the pot, and heated with a quiet "Fire-1." There is a steaming cloud that emanates from the pot in a waft, and he turns to grind leaves and add them to the brew. As they steep, Souji looks to Louise. "You do not displease me. This is simply the kind of environment that our desires have forged for us. It is nothing to worry about."

Presently, he turns and pours tea for both Louise and himself, then sets it aside, taking a sip. To drink first. 'I have taken some of it, you are safe.'. A classic statement in the environment Souji lives and thrives within.

The situation of Louise, however, is something else. He watches her carefully, considering her. "So your lord desires land for your people. That you are devils means nothing to me. I am a businessman. To allow such irrelevancies to deter me would speak ill of my ability." He considers this for a moment. "If you would, could you tell us what requirements you have for suitable land?"

Shinki (882) has posed:
Louise keeps her eyes on Souji, not out of distrust, but to watch. "A beautiful tea set." she comments, "It seems you enjoy tea as much as my Lady." she perks just slightly, 'Fire-1? Is that how they do magic? I wonder if that's their type of danmaku as well.' comes a thought in Louise's mind as she watches the tea being made. "Ah, that's good. I was to hope to try and fit in. Read in a magazine that this was acceptable attire."

When the tea is finished, she accepts the poured cup and watches. After Souji takes his sip, she does the same, reveling in the flavor of this tea. "Thank you much for the tea, it's as good as Lady Yumeko's." which, given the content, is a good compliment.

She closes her eyes and takes another sip, giving a slight nod, "Yes, our Lady does want more land for us, to expand our domain and home. We were successful in negotiating an agreement with a man named Steve and we're working on building upon that land for our Lady, however, more land in different regions to expand out into is a thing she would like to do." a pause is given, "Requirements? Mainly hospitable and lacking Shrine Maidens. Something easy to build on and abundant resources are a prime as well. In return, our koakuma, such as the two who are outside of this door, are capable of defense and provide companionship if you're in need of assistance. When I mean companionship, I am talking of the Servant and Master kind.

She snaps her fingers, one of the Koakuma entering before sitting down upon her legs. "They're well trained, bookish and capable of danmaku patterns."

Souji Murasame (627) has posed:
"The proper appreciation of tea is a mark of civilization." Souji replies, inclining his head as he accepts the compliment and delivers one of his own.

Souji enjoys his own tea quietly, listening to Louise's requirements. "This seems to be a fairly simple set of requirements." He nods to the little devil, before looking back to Louise. "I am capable of locating and acquiring land for your needs if you wish. It would be a form of brokerage, as I will be able to make use of my assets to give you a legal claim upon the land and will assist with protecting it with my own position and influence."

There is a turn as he taps at the table, and hologramlike images appear. Should Louise have the ability to scale her sight so, she might notice that the images are made up of infinitesimally tiny flying colored Moogles. The images, however, are a variety of vistas. Expansive deserts, ocean islands, ice cliffs. "Shiva, Leviathan, and Ifrit have areas which can meet your needs and are sufficiently apart from civilization that you should not be interrupted. However, there is one point."

He gestures. "I have shown what I can offer you to help you achieve your goals, but like any business arrangement, I cannot do this for free. What is there that you can offer in return for my services?"

Shinki (882) has posed:
"Most of us do not need much and with our Lady's capability of creating life of its own, we can expand as we see fit and gain what we need on the land." Louise gives a bit of a nod, "Ah, so you would be bartering for the use of the land and providing protection for it in terms of keeping the land." she looks at the hologram-like images, her head tilting, "This is interesting magic, Souji. We do not have this kind in Makai at all..."

Louise reaches out to attempt to touch them, finding her hands moving through the hologram-like images. "Those islands, how big are they?" she questions, "It would be interesting to have an ocean nearby, at least a bigger ocean." she leans back while the koakuma looks on the images with a curious gaze of red eyes, then the talk about return for services, "I see, you offer a lot and I am sure the bartering is grand for it, while we don't have much in Makai... we do have a vast land in which you might be able to use some of the rock there for material purposes, in addition, with the land, we can provide our own defense for it to alleviate any strain on your own resources. We're self sufficient so we do not mind getting and going."

Louise pauses, looking down at the Koakuma, shaking her head before turning back to Souji, "HOwever, I will entertain any option you would deem nessecary to make this a good arrangement."

Souji Murasame (627) has posed:
"Soon, perhaps, you might be able to share in it. Galianda is a land of wonder and bounty to those who wish to partake." The corporate heir replies.

The question about the island causes him to gesture. "The continent of Leviathan is almost entirely ocean. The learger the island, the rarer and more sought after it is by the native people, making it far more valuable. Optimally, what we would do is locate one of suitable size and stake a claim on it."

Souji pauses then, consiering Louise's admission of Makai's lack of barter or currency. "Do you have any rare materials of note? If not that, are your people adept at craftwork or manufacturing?"

Shinki (882) has posed:
Louise gives a nod, "We would like to partake in this, perhaps to mutual benefit. As for our people, we are adept at crafting and manufacturing. We built Akumakami Castle for our Lady, its quite big." she nods, "I would have to take you to Makai itself to show you, however." she looks back at the koakuma, who then speaks, "Lady Louise, are you sure that is wise to take an outsider to Makai?"

"Alice did it with that human girl. I do not see the problem with it."

"You also realize that Lady Alice is Lady Shinki's daughter..."

Turning back to Souji, "I'll have to find a way to give an image of it, perhaps paint a picture of it to show you later, but our koakuma are skilled in building."

Souji Murasame (627) has posed:
Souji exhales slowly, not allowing his expression to show what he feels. The extent of Louise's capabilities as both a negotiatior and representive of Makai have been assessed. "You may have also noticed that the Murasame Building also fits the definition of 'quite big'. The Zaibatsu has among their employees many skilled engineers, architects, and builders." There is a pause. "Perhaps it would be better to pause negotiations for now. If you can determine something that you can offer on behalf of your people that would be of suitable value for gaining your goal without bloodshed, I would be happy to entertain future offers."

Shinki (882) has posed:
A nod is given to Souji before she moves from her chair and gives a polite bow. "Of course." she looks down towards the koakuma, giving a slight nod before turning to Souji, "I would thank you for the opportunity to at least meet with you, and the tea was exquisite. My apologies we could not reach an agreement that satisifies both of us, but I am sure we may be able to later. If you'll excuse us then, we'll show ourselves out."

Souji Murasame (627) has posed:
Souji stands, and gives Louise a polite bow of farewell. "Indeed. Be well, Louise. I look forward to meeting again."
