Date of Scene: 04 August 2014
Location: Fall
Synopsis: Fayt attempts to meet with Finna to discuss trade. It doesn't quite go to plan.
Cast of Characters: 319, Blurr, 513, Bahamut

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
Fayt is right where the coords he sent said he'd be. it's outside a small village, a large freighter, the kind you find out in the void has landed here, with the image of a black dragon curled around a shipping crate painted on it's sides. The ships hatch is open as several workers can been seen moving boxes around.

Fayt's here overlooking things, and he looks just like Finna might remember. Short and scrawny, with pale skin and pale blue hair to match. "hopefully I don't get tossed into the hold this time."

Bahamut has posed:
As the crewmen unload boxes and crates and such, they might hear something falling toward them. Or see it. It would look like a meteor is falling from the sky, complete with fiery tail and roaring sounds. It falls right toward the ship, and impacts only a short distance away. Luckily, this is not an actual meteor, so there is no explosion or devastation. But, a cloud of dust is still kicked up.

From within the dust, there is a roar that is easily recognizable as draconic, then a giant pair of wings flaps and clears the dust, revealing the gunmetal grey visage of Bahamut. He rises to his full height of nearly 15 feet, then crosses his arms over his chest. "That is an interesting insignia." the dragon says in his deep, rumbling voice, a slight grin on his face.

Finna (513) has posed:
The hold, Fayt? Oh no. Not because of Finna's antics, anyways. But there is no sign whatsoever of the GREAT AND MIGHTY ERIK BLACKBURN. Instead, one of the humblest of sneaky creatures, a fox, is moseying around in his direction and towards the strange metal ship. It's not the common red fox, though. Instead of rusty or bright red fur, this one's fur is a dark greyish. An Arctic - or Snow - Fox, in its summer coat. To the HIGHLY TRAINED, willful eye, its tail and ears glint silver in the light...

The creature sneaks and sniffs - and lets out a soft *BARK* when the great DRAGON decides to show up. In a clear panic, the fox goes for the nearest source of cover - the creature takes a FLYING LEAP, lands on Fayt's head, then springs a tremendous distance to go careening up into his ship's innards.

Blurr has posed:
There's something else in the sky. Another ship, but not a freighter. This one hovers at sub-orbital altitudes, monitoring the surface below. The sensor arrays pick up on a fast-moving projectile headed for a freighter on the surface. It looks like a meteor but the ship can't seem to get a read on what it's made of.

Oh well, with that trajectory, it might hit that freighter, and there could be people in that freighter! There's a flash, and a bright beam of blue light shoots down out of the sky as Blurr orbital bounces to the ground, weapons ready to blast that thing out of the sky before it--

...oh. The Autobot lowers his weapons when he sees that it's Bahamut, the one he met earlier. "Oh, um hi." The blasters quickly retract into their compartments and out of sight. No, no...he was totally -not- just about to shoot at a known ally...

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
Bahamut's arrival causes Fayt's employees to panic somewhat, everyone dropping what their doing and running for cover! Fayt meanwhile, just sort of... stares as a dragon and an autobot arrive on hte scene. "Erm... hi?"

Then a fox bounces off his head. "GAH!"

Shaking his head clear. Fayt glances at the others, a bit calmer now but still clearly confused. "Hello? Um... can I help you with something?"

Bahamut has posed:
Bahamut just stands there as Blurr appears and points weapons at him. When those weapons are lowered, Bahamut grins again. "Forgive me for my grandios entrance." he says to everyone, then looks to Fayt. "I am Bahamut, and as I flew overhead I noticed the insignia with the dragon on it. I was simply curious whether you were linked to a guild called the Izzet. I was told that they were headed by a dragon and that I should meet this dragon." he says, then points toward the ship. "What was the slinky creature that disappeared into your ship?"

Finna (513) has posed:
Pay no mind to the fuzzy creature that hopped aboard Fayt's ship to take shelter! Right?

The tiny creature peeks its head around the corner to steal a peek at what's happenig out there...

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
"Sorry." Fayt replies. "This is black Dragon Shipping. We're not linked to Izzit, though we know of them." a pause then, frowning "wait... something went into the ship? Please excuse me a moment. I better look into that." That said, Fayt turns around and makes his way up the ramp leanding into the ship, looking just a bit worried.

Bahamut has posed:
Bahamut rumbles lightly when he is informed his suspicions are wrong, but shrugs lightly. "Do you know where I might find them?' he asks as Fayt moves toward his ship. When the creature pokes its head around a corner, Bahamut lets out a slight grunt and points. "It looks harmless, whatever it is."

Finna (513) has posed:
    Just then - WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!

A streak of grey bolts from the ship like a bullet shot from a gun, though a hazy silver contrail's left in its wake, quickly dissipating.

The speed burst is utterly inexplicable, as though it was rocket-propelled. What the?

No, it's probably better to ask that question while pondering why Fayt has been left pantsless, for it's plain for anyone to see that his undergarments are exposed! Odd, though, that his belt has kept its place...

The fox has quickly managed to get halfway to the thin woods bordering the town before it stops and turns around, dragging a long and flapping SOMETHING that looks suspiciously like the pants in question in its jaws.

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
"Where? well I could get the coords re-GAH!" *THUD*

Fayt topples over as something zooms right past him. Scrambling to his feet, Fayt looks over at the fox. "Hey is that?" he looks down at him self, then back to the fox, then down to himself, then back to the fox. "...gods damnit."

Right, gotta think quickly. Pulling his staff of of his back, (and looking more than a touch embaressed as he works. Fayt puts his staff to the ground, and starts to draw a circle. The whole time carefully watching the fox. "Ok, I think I can get them back, just... no sudden movements please." he then adds, clearly VERY embaressed. "...or comments for that matter."

    Mutter mutter stupid fox mutter.

Bahamut has posed:
Bahamut doesn't comment. Or move suddenly. He simply...bursts out laughing. His booming laughter can probably be heard for miles. He ends up hunched over from the laughing, his wings outstretched for balance, and his tail twitching in amusement. "Hahahaha...o-of course...no commenting..." Bahamut manages through his laughter. He calms down after a few moments, but he is still grinning.

Blurr has posed:
"Yeah um is there any way you can -not- look like a meteor?" Blurr asks, staring at the dragon. "I almost shot at you." He admits. And then...something has taken some of Fayt's clothes? Who is that? And why would they want the cloth? Fayt needn't worry about Blurr making comments or laughing, it isn't a joke he really knows about. "You need help with getting that back?"

Finna (513) has posed:
The fox is not going anywhere, though upon seeing Fayt's strange motions, it makes a strange noise. A harsh, high-pitched, drawn-out bark. Perhaps provoking him? Or... well, it's really hard to say, this time!

The creature's ears do flick about like scanning radar dishes though. This beast is on the alert!

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
Fayt winces at the laughter, but breaths a sigh of relief as the fox doesn't run. "Help? Yeah, ok..." he replies ot blurr, though he doesn't look at him, he's seems to behell bent on not taking his eyes of the fox. "you're liekly a lot faster than me, If this fails, get ready to run."

That said, Fayt finishes drawing a circle with his staff, which opens up into a small black hole. It's a teleport, and where's the other end? The fox might notice the ground suddenly vanish as another black hole opens up right beneath it. Unless it moves quickly it'll fall right in and pop up through the other hole in front of Fayt, who'd readly try to grab hold of it, or at least his pants.

Bahamut has posed:
Bahamut grins at Blurr's request. "I cannot promise anything." he replies to the meteor comment. "I must maintain my intimidation factor for when I face enemies. But, I suppose I could tone it down if I do not expect trouble." he says before looking over at Fayt, then at the fox thing, then back to Blurr. "I will assist you if needed. No man should go without pants. Unless he is an Aeon." Bahamut chuckles to himself, amused by this entire situation.

Finna (513) has posed:
NOT what the creature was expecting today, that's for sure. The group can see it lose footing, tumble 'into the ground,' and come flying out of the other end.

Now, though, the creature's growling, having found itself engaged in a tug of war with Fayt over the...

... bundle of ragged material that could have never been Fayt's pants, being blue, not brown? From a DISTANCE it sure looked like Fayt's pants.

Anyone who focuses too hard on these facts might notice something else: Fayt's pants haven't actually gone anywhere.

    The heck?!

Blurr has posed:
Intimidation? What! Pff. "'Intimidation factor?' Tch, I wasn't -intimidated!" Blurr folds his arms at Bahamut's answer. "I can blow a meteor out of the sky -any- cycle. I just wouldn't want one to crush a bunch of organics or hit a freighter full of supplies, you know?"

tHe glances down at whatever Fayt's doing, and chuckles when the creature falls into the portal the man just made. "Nice trick." But, huh? It looks like his clothes weren't gone in the first place. Ah, a hologram, maybe. "What is that, anyway?"

Blurr has posed:

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
"Gotcha!" Grabs hold of the pants. Blurr's question getting a confused responce. "What's... wait a sec..."

and then Fayt suddenly notices. The materials are wrong, and the animal holding it? an arctic fox. out here.

With a frown, fayt looks the fox in hte eyes and says calmly, "oh, I see now. Hi 'Erick'." he then suddenly lets go, just as the fox was about to pull again if possible. yes it's mean, but after what just happened she earned that!

Bahamut has posed:
Bahamut blinks as the illusion breaks. Or is dropped. He isn't sure which. But, whichever it is, Bahamut finds himself laughing again. "What an entertaining creature!" he says, still chuckling.

Then, he grins at Blurr. "And yet, you allowed me to land before you prepared an attack? If you truly feared I were a meteor, why did you not fire from your ship?" he says, seeming rather smug about it. "Perhaps you were hoping for a fight?"

Finna (513) has posed:
The Snow Fox lets go of the junky strips of cloth, notices the fact that two GIANT BEINGS are bearing down on her...

Her body ripples, like the surface of a lake disrupted by a thrown stone. It also expands, shooting upwards in the span of several seconds. Her limbs straighten, shifting from quadrupedal to bipedal. The fur recedes, becoming normal hman body hair. Just in time, too, clothes spring from nowhere in a wave of silvery light to garb the female who rises up, wielding a piddly knife in a reverse grip against the two giants. "Pah... is this what I get for pulling a little prank or two? You're such a sourbutt, sorcerer-trader!"

There seems to be some misunderstanding here.

She grins ferally up at Bahamut and Blurr. "Size doesn't scare me...!"

... Maybe it does. She's shiverin ga little.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr is...certainly huge compared to them. He's even about twice as tall as Bahamut. Speaking of the dragon, the Autobot just huffs at him. "Ha! You -better- be glad I didn't fire from the ship. You would've been blown to microns. And I didn't because you aren't that big. Would've been a waste of energy. I thought I could bounce down to the surface before you landed, but the jump platform was too slow." The teleporter, not him, of course. Blurr is NEVER too slow.

Blurr arches an optic ridge at the fox who just turned into a human. A shapeshifter, huh. A prankster, huh? Reminded him of someone else he knew. "Hey, hey. Calm down, lady. No one's threatening you."

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
"No fighting near the ship please." Then finna gets a confused look "What? What I do?" Fayt sounds honestly confused. Then he notices the knife... Uh oh.

Fayt's quick to get himself in the middle of the group, Namely, he tries to put himself between Finna and the others. "No fighting here. Put the knife away please, there's no threat here." The pale mage lets out a sigh, This is REALLY not going well for him. "Everyone clam down please. i'm just trying ot do my job here."

Bahamut has posed:
Bahamut raises an eyeridge as the fox transforms into a rather pleasant looking woman. With fox features. He finds himself intrigued. And grinning when she promises she is not afraid of size. "That is good to know." he says with a bit of a hinting rumble, then he chuckles. "But, there is no need for hostilities. These two do not seem to appreciate your humor. I was quite amused, as you might have heard." he says, not even worrying about the knife.

"And, your illusion was impressive. Even I was fooled, and my eyes are usually pretty sharp." the dragon continues. He starts toward Fayt and Finna before pausing to look over at Blurr. "I would enjoy comparing your ship's main weapon to my Mega Flare." is all he says before he continues walking, the ground shaking lightly with each step. He stops when he is a few feet away from Fayt and Finna, then crouches down so he isn't standing so far over them. He then slowly holds out a clawed hand to Finna. "I am Bahamut, Aeon of Bevelle and defender of Spira. And you are?"

Finna (513) has posed:
"You call such huge guardians and expect me to stay calm?!" Finna barks, her ears and tail stiff as birds. Sstill,s he glances between Blurr and Bahamut with shoulders bunched up.. and forces herself to relax. The knife is tucked away behind her back and... well, wherever it went, it's gone. "... Oh, so you're not...good. phew."

Seems she thought Fayt was pulling something on her... "... I came to do business, not have dragons rain down on me from the heavens..." She notes sarcastically, poking a finger up against Fayt's nose - yes, buster, this is clearly YOUR fault Fayt! - and twists her lips around perplexedly. "Dragons and... whatever YOU are, metal giant!" She loks over a shoulder at Blurr there... "But what a friendly dragon it is! Thank you, I do try. The name is Finna!"

ONly then does her tail unstiffen and start wagging slowly back and forth, though her demeanor is quite sour right now. "You were supposed to chase... you cheater."

Blurr has posed:
Guardians? She thought he was the guy's guardian? Primus, she was stupid. Blurr shakes his head. "Hardly. And sure, that really looked like -business- to me." he says sarcastically. "I wasn't trying to ruin your fun, or anything, just thought a meteor might be about to hit the freighter so I couldn't just sit there and do nothing, since if that -had- been the case, it could've killed you all."

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
Fayt, in true Fayt fashion, leans away from the finger. "Hey, I didn't call them! They just showed up! And what do you mean cheating? you're the one with the shapeshifting and illusions here!"

Bahamut has posed:
"I am a guardian of sorts, but not specifically of this trader. I was simply coming to ask him something myself when you showed up. I do apologize about startling you with my entrance." Bahamut says to Finna, then tsks at Fayt and Blurr. "You two need to lighten up. Finna was obviously just trying to bring a bit of fun into Fayt's life. Pretending to take someone's pants is hardly a hostile act."

Bahamut then stands tall again and crosses his arms over his chest, a light grin playing over his face. "Now, let us all just calm down." he says, although his grin fades when he realizes with just a little more discretion on his part, the stress level here would probably not be nearly as high. He snorts lightly as dragons tend to do.

Finna (513) has posed:
"They are gifts from the moon Goddess herself. Who are you to call that cheating?!" Finna counters, adopting a FOUL look on her face and GLARING at the trader with a full-bore stare.

.... One might wonder how serious that retort actually is, though, with the grin she slowly cracks.

"... I'm talking to a Dragon and a giant metal person..." She mumbles bewilderedly to herself a moment later. The Multierse sure has gotten interesting!

"Nothing at all unusual about that... ahuhuhuu....hrm! So it was just bad timing... here I'd thought Fayt was pulling something. Hrm... s, you're NOT pulling something?" She whirls on Fayt, again poking - regardless of how far back Fayt backedals the finger doesn't seem to be getting any further away... wait is her arm stretching, or is that just a trick of the viewing angle?!

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
Fayt keeps leaning back as the finger approaches him, to the point that he ends up leaning over at a funny angle, wobbling in place before finally... "Woah!" *THUD!*

Fayt, now sprawled out on his back, blinks at the finger pokeing his nose. "What the...?"

Finna (513) has posed:
With Fayt toppling over, only then is it really revealed... no, the arm has not stretched, and Finna's finger has not moved. There's a slight afterglow of silvery light surrounding the finger though, that wasn't easily noticed before. And it quickly fades.

"Heh. Heheh. You're so easily fooled..."

Blurr has posed:
"Cybertronian." Blurr corrects Finna. "And what are you, besides someone who can create illusions and turn into an animal?" He chuckles when Fayt falls over. "It doesn't look like he's going to be pulling anything."

"And I never said it was hostile." he remarks to Bahamut. "I'm perfectly calm, okay?"

Bahamut has posed:
"You do not sound calm." Bahamut says to Blurr, grinning. He's obviously just baiting the Autobot. He looks over as Fayt topples over, then chuckles. "Your magic seems to be quite effective on him." he says to Finna, then chuckles again. "Perhaps we should allow the trader to conclude his business here. I apologize for any trouble I caused." Bahamut adds, then steps a short distance away from the others. "And, I should return to Spira. It does not take long for some trouble to develop there." he says as he spreads his wings. But, before he takes off, he looks to Finna. "I would be honored to speak with you again. Your abilites are...entertaining."

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
Scrambling back to his feet. Fayt frowns at Finna for several moments, before sighing again. "Anyway, did you want to discuess trade this time or just mess with me more?"

Finna (513) has posed:
"Those goals are not mutually exclusive!" Finna quips in correction, only to grin at Bahamut a few moments later. She seems sliiightly intimidated by the much larger beings present... and probably will stay so unless she does something to rectify that situation...
".... I was HOPING to see if you were brave enough to be worth dealing with.... a dash into the woods would've done well! .... I'm not sure whether standing stalwart in the face of a giant dragon and... 'Cyber...tronian' dropping in from the heavens is a sign of bravery or something else ENTIRELY though!" She now sprouts a BIG playful grin, and the tail wags much faster even as she folds her arms across her stomach!

Fayt Ravus (319) has posed:
Fayt frowns. "You're still going on about that." He shakes his head. "Unfortunatly, I have to round my men up and get moving again, we have more cargo we need to drop off elsewhere. Here." He'd actualy pull a business card out of his belt pouch and hand it to her. "I'm likely going to regret this, but here's my contact info. Feel free to get hold of me if you ever want ot do business." a pause then. "and please, no prank calling with random snipe hunts, a lot of that stuff actually exists out here and we charge a fee for that."

Bahamut has posed:
Bahamut stops as he hears Finna's comment, then grins to her. "I would lean toward the something else." he says with a chuckle as he raises a clawed hand and flexes the claws a few times, then lowers it. "After all, you look to be little more than a tasty snack to a large dragon." he adds, then snaps his teeth together firmly enough to make a playful 'clack'.

As Fayt prepares to leave, Bahamut raises a hand to bid him goodbye. "I apologize again for hindering your delivery."

Finna (513) has posed:
"Yes... something else. I look forward to figuring out whaaaaat!" This last part comes out in a cutesy tone as Finna wiggles the offending finger at Fayt. "A pity now isn't the best time, but you aren't getting away that easily for long, trader!"

An enthusiastic nod's sent Bahamut's way moments later, but for now, Finna turns about and starts to wander off. "Take care out there!
