Cracking Mirrors
Date of Scene: 08 January 2016
Location: Alberichstadt <P:WTWM>
Synopsis: Amakasu heads into the mirror forest with Nagato and Kal...
Cast of Characters: Nagato, 901, 930, 932

Hoshi Amakasu (901) has posed:
So many days after Christmas and New Years, the town of Alberichstadt has once again returned to it's (mostly) quiet ways; the northeast side of town filled with the metropolis of a modern city, the southwestern slimming down to quiet neighborhoods and cottages broken up by areas of construction work on the street. For all intents and purposes, this town looked completely normal, maybe even boring. It seemed nobody here knew anything about what else was amongst them.

Hoshi has sent out her coordinates to lead Nagato and Kal to the Die Reisenden shack, a little past the outskirts of the Black Forest. Hoshi's voice rings out momentarily on their radios. "Uh--do me a favor. I'm not sure how human you look, Mr. Udar, so I'm hoping you won't scare anyone. It's... nobody here is used to non-human things just yet."

The shack itself is covered with snow, but it's a damn sight better than how it'd been at the past. It even has it's own power generator and heating now. Hoshi's waiting inside in her kendo armor, staring with a firm expression at the mirror that stood in the corner of the little building. Arrivals brought her to stand and push open the door with a grunt. "Welcome, everyone. Please, come in."

Nagato has posed:
That one night Nagato did a night patrol with Amakasu was an interesting night. They both learned about each other and what things they're capable of doing and the mention of wanting to join Amakasu in Alberichstadt if she needed any assistance, and for now, it looks like this is what she needed. Done up in a large cloak to hide her body from the cold, she follows along the coordinates to the shack, the Battleship's without her rigging today, a reminder of where Amakasu is...

When mentioned to come in, she gives a brief nod before stepping in with careful steps... "Amakasu, so this is Alberichstadt. It's... snowier than expected." Nagato moves to one of the walls of the room and drops the cloak, "Thank you for inviting me in." she comments, giving a brief smile towards the girl. "Cozy..."

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden was deeply regretting coming to wander around this town, that much was certain, snow and lizardish creatures don't mix too well, and he did not dare to change that fact in fear that he might freak out some random person looking at him!. He mostly explored the town, rubbing his sides and clutching the fur on his back tightly, trying to cover himself better. His random roaming finally brought him near a shack, and a cloaked person. While he did not try to call the people approaching the shack, he might draw some attention if only due to being unusual. At least he was not sinking in the snow.

Kal Udar (932) has posed:
Kal lands outside the shack, neatly circumventing the entire problem of looking distinctively nonhuman by just flying over all the human parts of the area.

That said, he doesn't look TOTALLY nonhuman. He's very tall - on the order of seven feet, with a lot of muscles under his jacket and pants - but the general shape of him is human. He has a human-looking face, hair, legs, hands with the right number of fingers, et cetera.

It's just that in his human-looking face are weird bird-looking eyes, and attached to his back are wings nearly fourteen feet in wingspan, which fold up as he lands. Kal ducks under the door and heads inside, a bit awkwardly because, again, he's seven feet tall.

"Is this 'cold'?" Kal asks excitedly, "Was all of that stuff 'snow'? And you have so many trees, too! It's amazing, it's really amazing! Wasn't it amazing, Rider? Didn't we have a great flight?"

It is at that moment that a bulbous-headed grey thing, about four-ish feet tall, emerges next to him. The thing is in every way the classical image of the Grays - grey skin, bulbous black eyes, slender delicate hands, long fingers, slightly hunched over. It burbles out some gibberish.

"I think he agrees with me," Kal says.

Hoshi Amakasu (901) has posed:
Nagato and Kal both get small smiles and waves, though Hoshi seems a lot more comfortable around the Admiral. Unfortunately for the bird man, it's quite clear this shack wasn't meant for someone of his eight--or his wings--he'll probably have to slouch over a fair amount. "Thank you guys for coming--er. S-sorry about the height of this place, Mr. Udar. Uh, don't worry, the Forest will be... different. You'll see soon."

It's when she's about to close the door and start briefing Nagato and Udar about where they were going, she spots Alden. At first she nearly goes for her locket, but looking over him... "Uh... Hey. Y'know, it's warm in here. You can... come in, I guess? As long as you don't try to attack us. This place is neutral under Die Reisenden, if you try."

Once the Digimon makes his choice, Hoshi goes back to the other two. "Sorry about that. We'll be going through the mirror over in the corner there. The Forest is filled with monsters, and it's not very comfortable to be in, so keep that in mind."

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden normally he might doubt at such an invitation but he happened to see the weird winged... man? come inside, and the promise of warmth was too much to pass at this very moment. He does his best to simply run full tilt towards the shack.

"Thank you!, it's so cold!" he chimes, rubbing his sides again and getting a better look to Nagato, Kal and Hoshi. "Don't worry, not wanting to attack anything." he says. He listens closely, the mention of 'through the mirror' and 'monsters' catching his attention. "Through the mirror?" he asks softly.

Kal Udar (932) has posed:
Kal shrugs. "It's okay. I'm fine! Don't worry about me. I've been in way worse than this."

     Rider burbles again.

"Besides, Rider's gonna do most of the work anyway."

Kal gives Alden and Nagato a very long stare. Neither of them are human, and since they aren't A-RAY, Liner, or Servant, they're totally outside the things Kal is used to. He tilts over like he's going to poke one of them, then decides not to.

'Going through the Mirror' receives a polite blink from Kal.

Nagato has posed:
Nagato eyes the bird man warily, she's duty bound to protect Amakasu from anything... including this strange thing before her. Then again, the Multiverse is full of strange things. Then when the Digimon makes its entrance, she frowns, two things to keep her eyes on... just what was Amakasu thinking. "I see. You'll have the armor of the big seven to protect you if something happens, Amakasu." she states, giving a soft crack of her knuckles. Even if she didn't have her gear, she was at least competent in melee.

She turns to keep looking at Udar, that stoic, judging look upon her face, "I know not of this Rider you mention, however, if Amakasu trusts you enough to be here, then so be it." and the Digimon speaks, Nagato does her best to try not to hug the thing, it's actually kinda cute. Maybe later when it's just her around... Once she acknowledges Alden's entrance, she turns towards the mirror in the corner, "From my recollection, mirrors only reflect and cannot be passed through without breaking it. IS this not the case?"

Hoshi Amakasu (901) has posed:
It gets a little snicker out of her to watch Alden running for the door, but she lets him in as promised before closing the door behind him. As she promised, it is warm. And there's no snow! There /is/, however, the issue of what he was going to do. here. "Uh... Crap. Well, first things first, I'm Amakasu Hoshi, or Amakasu. You can either come with us or stay here, I guess, just don't steal anything."

Back to the other two. Nagato seems a little ill at ease, and Kal is curious. Not too bad. "Thanks, Admiral," Hoshi says with a small smile. "It's actually pretty important here. Anyway, he's with the Union like us, so it's okay." She has to spare a glance at Rider. She'd seen a Grey before, it's not a shock, but she's not quite sure what work it'll be doing. "Is he?... I guess so. Well, for now..."

It'll probably be better to just show them, so Hoshi squishes past the three and makes her way to the mirror. When she reaches it, she doesn't even break her stride--she starts walking through it, the glass wavering like ripples in a pond. She comes to a stop when just one of her arms is visible, motioning for the others to follow, until it too goes inside. The mirror looks completely undisturbed until the next person touches it. It's like cold, syrupy water to the touch.

On the other side lies an incredible vista, shrouded by the darkness of dusk and clouds. Much like the forest they'd been in, this one is filled with trees. However, here each and every one of them is made of mirrored glass. The slightest errant spark of light can carry for what seems to be miles here; in fact, that's really the only reason any of them can see in here. Within the shadows, however, one might feel the tingling sensation of watching, malevolent eyes...

What was the mirror looks to be a tiny little pond here, with Hoshi waiting for them on the other side--with a sword, now, drawn and ready. Her face is grim. "This feels bad."

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden is fine with the staring, and is used to seeing non human creatures of pretty much any kind imaginable, so he is simply curious about Kal, and the mention of this 'Rider'. He tilts his head and offers a smile when stared at, lizardy tail giving a lazy wag as he begins to warm up. He offers a friendly wave, before turning towards Nagato, waving as well. "I'm Alden." he introduces himself.

. His attention focuses on teh mirror display, moving closer, and reaching to poke at the mirror curiously, "How?" he mumbles.

Kal Udar (932) has posed:
"I have no idea if she trusts me or not!" Kal replies cheerfully. His good cheer appears to be relentless, in fact. "I mean, I hope so, but even if she didn't, I'm not really interested in fighting anyway. Lighten up! I don't really like hurting people."

Rider burbles again, scrambling forward on all fours like some sort of weird Grey caveman as they walk to the back of the shack. When Hoshi steps through the mirror, Kal lets out a (musical) whistle and follows right behind without a second thought. Rider follows in behind him.

Kal lets out another (musical) whistle at the forest. "Wow, this is great! Look at all this glass! I've never seen anything like this."

Rider, meanwhile, reaches into...something...and draws what looks like a 1960s raygun, complete with weird unnecessary rings. It thrums and crackles as Rider lopes forward, scanning the perimeter with its gigantic bulbousy black eyes.

Nagato has posed:
Nagato gives a bit of a nod towards Amakasu and then back towards Kal and Alden. "Nameship of the Nagato class battleships. Nagato." her voice is stern and stoic, a hint of pride and all buisness in the voice. When the mention that Kal's with the Union, she visibly relaxes... just a bit. "I see. Very well." she scoots aside as Amakasu makes her way to the mirror... and walks through it, "Amakasu?!" she doesn't wait for anyone else and follows along once that hand dissapears, ducking just a bit to fit through the mirror without problem.

The view on the otherside is quite unsettling towards the Admiral, but once her sight is set on Amakasu with sword, Nagato moves up towards her side, eyes scanning along the glassy horizon. "I do not like the feel of this place." she whispers towards Amakasu, "Glass trees... and a strange sensation... as if something is watching." her knuckles crack once more, ready to defend at a moments notice.

Nagato turns a bit towards Kal, "I do not 'lighten up'. More so with my Destroyer in a very dangerous place." she frowns a bit at Kal, "HOwever, I'm not interested in fighting you, it will only serve to distract."

Hoshi Amakasu (901) has posed:
To Hoshi, all of this stopped being a truly alien experience long ago, and her confident sword stance says so as she studies the area. "If you're with the Union, it's good enough for me," is Hoshi's response to this whole trust question. She's pretty accepting normally--and too busy trying to figure out what was causing that greater aura of menace here. "Yeah, I hadn't seen anything like it either, until I got thrown in here. It's seriously dangerous in here, so be careful."

Nagato gets an agreeable nod. She didn't really like this place either. "As far as I can tell, it's always been like this. Usually a little less 'there's something watching', but... I think we might want to be a little more careful on this one. Let's move out." It's probably better that Alden stayed inside for this one...

After a couple seconds of deliberation, Hoshi starts making her way out, slipping between mirror trees while she talks quietly, her feet lightly crunching actual soil and bits of glass. "The monsters in here don't have to make sense. Keep that in mind, or they'll do something you didn't expect." She goes quiet for a few minutes more, but eventually the feeling of being watched continues as they hit a clearing--and the first of the Shadows appear in front of them. It looks like someone took a human and exaggerated them to grotesque levels, features stretching and warping as if they, too, were reflections. It's wearing what looks to be an old Napoleonic French uniform, and it's saluting, but... not moving.

Hoshi comes to a dead stop at the odd sight, tilting her head. "Uh... So, this is weird."

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden watches the other two walk through the mirror, tempted to join and see whaqt was goign on, but... he had no clue where they were going, and who they were fighting, plus he was still really cold... he decided he was going to wait there, enjoy the heat, and perhaps help if they decide to call for help.

Nagato has posed:
"I see, then, I will try to ... relax ... as you called it." Nagato mentions, giving a nod, "Understood, Flagsh.... Amakasu." she shakes her head, keeping right next to Amakasu as they head out, "I'm sure that ... thing ... resting inside your cabin can take care of itself." Nagato ducks and weaves through those trees, saying little else throughout the encounter. "Understood, you know the area better than us, I will trust you with direction then, Amakasu."

The clearing is reached and the twisted human appears in front of them. Nagato stares hard at the figure, giving a light nod, "I'm not sure why, but... the uniform looks familiar to me." the salute, while something Nagato's not seen, she does recognize it as such and, in traditional World War Two fashion, gives a salute back from the Imperial Japanese Navy in respect to the salute. She holds it for a moment, then lets it down, turning to Amakasu, "It is strange, but it does not seem to be hostile as of yet, in addition, it's in salute..." Nagato's curious on how it would respond to that IJN Salute of hers...

Kal Udar (932) has posed:
"So this isn't normal?" Kal asks, pointing at the weird Napoleonic Shadow, "Just to make sure. Your worlds are really weird, after all!"

Rider of Green straightens. Apparently Rider dislikes this thing. It waves its raygun menacingly in the Shadow's direction, hoping for some sort of response, perhaps. It also ambles a bit closer, much like a wild animal testing another wild animal's territory.

"Hey, Rider, don't get too close, okay?"

Rider burbles what might be an affirmative. Kal sighs and scratches his head. "Well, I guess it's okay. Rider can take care of himself just fine, after all."

Rider stops just on the edge of wherever it estimates the Shadow's personal space to be. It straightens - that is, it stops crouching and stands on two legs instead of loping about like a caveman, drawing itself up to its bent-over four-foot height. It tilts a bulbousy head to the side as Kal looks around.

Hoshi Amakasu (901) has posed:
Any attempts to hail this strange creature seem to be outright ignored. It doesn't even look like it's moving to breathe. Utterly still, like a statue commemorating a graveyard or a field of battle. Hoshi seems to be as baffled as the rest of them are. "It's not speaking in riddles or trying to kill us... I'm not really getting what's up. Maybe it just doesn't want to fight...?"

When Rider makes his way towards the Shadow, it originally looks like nothing's going to happen there, either. Only, Kal might be able to see hints of movement out in the trees beyond the clearing. Snapping glass and bushes crackle as other warped figures make their appearance--and these ones are armed. Some are like the little French soldier ahead--others are giant, hulking blonde brutes stacked with so much muscle it was sickening, contrasted by oddly-innocent faces.

The saluting one in particular finally moves. A piece of it's coat slides to the side as it's hand drops the salute--there's a hole in it's chest, but more than that, is that a /gun/ buried in there--

    BAM!

As soon as the first shot is fired at Rider, the figures charge. The soldier Shadows pull muskets out of similar holes and start firing, while the brutes try to bumrush them. Hoshi grabs Nagato and dives away to the side to avoid some of the rifle fire. "Gaaah--crap! I should've known. I'll cover you, Admiral!"

Kal Udar (932) has posed:
"Ah, so, this is an ambush," Kal notes mere seconds before Rider is shot in the chest.

The little grey thing goes flying as physics catch up with it, sending it flying backwards. It tumbles to the floor, its bulbous head making the whole trip look much like ragdoll physics as it bounces off the ground. It appears to be bleeding green goo. Maybe it's just not very durable?

Kal, meanwhile, tilts his head backwards, narrowly avoiding some musketball shots. He whistles a musical tune again as he tilts forward, avoiding some more. "Hey, hey," Kal says, "I don't wanna fight!"

He points at the little grey Rider lying on the ground. "Fight him, okay? He's the one you want to fight."

Rider lays there for all of another moment before it stands back on its skinny little legs. It wobbles for a moment, warbling under the gunfire.

Its hand goes to the side of its head as it raises its raygun.

The Shadow directly in front of Rider gets a taste of telekinetic thrust as Rider's eyes turn 60s-sci-fi purple. Rider moves to fling the Shadow into the other Shadows firing on the bird-man. Its raygun, meanwhile, snaps up at one of the shadows firing on Kal, too, drawing yet more aggro.

Kal otherwise has not moved much. He reaches up to scratch the back of his neck. "What should I do," he wonders aloud as Rider scampers over to protect the girls.

Nagato has posed:
Something didn't feel right... "Maybe, but..." she watches Rider makes its way over and the shot is fired. Nagato doesn't even get time to react as Hoshi grabs and dives with Nagato to the side, "GHrk!" comes a strange noise from the Admiral, "An ambush?!" the sudden bit of going from standing to on the ground... and when Amakasu mentions her covering the Admiral? How she wish she had a gun to use, but...

"A strange turn of events, for you to be the escort destroyer for an unarmed battleship." she mutters, moving to get up. "But I'm still as armored as it comes, Amakasu. Be careful!" with this, Nagato rushes in herself. Even without a weapon, her fists do pack a good wallop, along with her strong legs for an equally powerful kick.

There's two things on her mind at this very point... protect Amakasu and subdue the attackers. With this, she rushes up to a couple of the Shadows and brings a roundhouse kick to one of them. Nagato's not entirely sure how well this will work, but, it worked on an Abyssal...

Hoshi Amakasu (901) has posed:
The Shadows seem either unwilling or incapable of understanding anything that Kal has to say, but the formerly saluting Shadow does raise it's hand into the air as it proclaims shrilly, "FOR THE QUEEN!" It is about to join the fight with the rest, but Rider's psychic abilities send it flying into the bulk of one of the brutes, who nearly falls over and looks around stupidly before blundering on. With all the fire Rider's putting out, the brute Shadow heads towards him, brandishing a trunk of glass that it tries to use to flatten him. As the rest of the creatures stream into the valley, it's easier to put a definite number to them: five soldier Shadows and two brutes.

Hoshi doesn't seem any more pleased than Nagato was as she dug out her locket. "Yeah, of course. You too--I'm serious when I tell you these guys aren't normal!" When Nagato charges, Hoshi follows soon after. The soldier that Nagato finds tries to block her foot with it's musket, but it's unable to stand; Hoshi immediately dives for it and starts trying to cut it down. Nagato still has to deal with the soliders and the other, oncoming brute--and they're certainly firing at her now.

Kal Udar (932) has posed:
Kal skips backwards, away from the immediate front-line, and moves near Nagato and Hoshi. "Hey, Rider! She needs a weapon! Lend her your gun, huh?"

Rider makes an indecipherable, high-pitched burbling noise, then tosses the 1960s raygun at Nagato's hands. It turns back to the enemy, the tiny Servant baring its hands like it's about to attack.

The tree trunk comes down hard. It is large, and glass, and like six times Rider's size. Rider is tiny and skinny and looks like it would break in a stiff breeze.

...which is probably why it's so surprising that, when the dust clears, Rider is actually holding the glass trunk in its long, delicate-looking fingers. There's green goo flowing from its hands, but it either hasn't noticed or doesn't care.

Thin muscles bulge as Rider attempts to simply lift the trunk, the Shadow, the whole kit'n'kaboodle, and bring it smashing down onto another armed brute. It lets out a horrific alien roar, a shrill and garbled noise like a theramin distorted through radio static, and goes on the attack.

Kal puts a hand in his pocket. "I guess he's okay. And now they've stopped fighting me, so that's good."

Nagato has posed:
"Kal, order your thing to distract them. Amakasu, line ahead formation, we'll strike as one!" she shouts, staring at the Former Saluting Shadow, "Your queen, is no longer here." she scowls, "All units, charge!" as they get knocked down from the sweeping advance, only to keep going ahead, fist thrown ahead to try and knock another one back, "Get out of my Destroyer's way!"

A quick glance is given towards Amakasu, "You got it, right? Show me how you fight here on land!" before sweeping forth again to try and take out a few more. Though, the gleam of that raygun catches the battleship's eyes and she snaps it out of the air, taking a point to one, and with a pull of the trigger, she lets the gun do its work towards another one, finally, a gun in her hands... now she can show the true power of the Big Seven. Even without her 41cm guns...

Hoshi Amakasu (901) has posed:
The brute Shadow and his wearpon weigh a /lot/, and probably somewhere in it's stupid little brain the creature thought that Rider was dead. That said, it blinked slowly when it was suddenly being bodily lifted and hurled towards the brute that was about to start getting into the girl's business. Both go down in flailing heaps and low, urgent grunts as two of the Soldiers turn to Rider. They fire once before charging in with bayonets fixed.

With the brute temporarily out of the way, Nagato was clear to push forward. One of the soldiers manages to go flat on the ground when the raygun fires, and the tree behind him grows several spidery cracks that result in the tree starting to come down. The second one gets caught dead in the face and is sent flying; eventually, the sizling hole in it's face grows until the whole Shadow is gone.

Despite the downed Shadow trying to fight off Hoshi, eventually the girl removes the thing's head before turning to get back to Nagato's flank. Line ahead, right. If it was time to fight like she was on land... She clicks her locket open and stands firm. Blue mist encircles her as she calls out, "Come to me, Rosamond!"

The sound of shattering glass, and from the blue mist the green hooded and cloaked figure of Rosamond takes form, her muddy wedding dress flapping delicately as she dives out immediately. The giant broadsword she carries comes down, point first, on one struggling brutes, and the Persona keeps mercilessly stabbing downwards until the thing finally dies. Then she starts flying for the soldier.

Kal Udar (932) has posed:
The spindly little Rider gets shot at, again. This time, it's slightly more prepared, moving with more speed than it possibly should be capable of. It darts forward on all fours, soaking bullets with its very small shoulderblade (if indeed it even HAS a bone there), and applying forward momentum to cancel out the fling-back effect of the heavy musketry. Abuse of physics isn't something you often see INTENTIONALLY out of a Servant.

Of course, the other side to this is that it appears that Rider's arm is currently flopping backwards in a way it most definitely should not, as far as any metric of organs should be able to tell. It looks like Rider outright cracked its own arm to keep going.

Rider lunges at the soldiers. It most definitely didn't have a mouth before, but now it does, a shrieking, circular maw full of sharp little teeth. It leaps onto the first soldier, moving to close its maw around the enemy's head and just...deal with the problem.

Kal seems wildly unconcerned by his Servant's furious bleeding. He instead focuses on Rosamund, letting out another musical whistle. "That's pretty cool. Is that your brain-thing? I like that, that's neat!"

Kal heads up behind the girls, keeping their flank clear just by being behind them. He does not appear to be engaging, beyond that. "Rider understands US, by the way. I think. I've never been totally clear!"

Nagato has posed:
Without her guns and her rigging, Nagatos' pretty mobile on land and that smirk of power shows upon her face, though with the unexpected fall in with Kal... she's got a three person fleet here, four if you count that spindly thing. "Advance, all units full speed! Combined First Fleet, FINISH THIS!" she shouts, "Line ahead, all main guns..." a pause... nagato wasn't equipped... but with Rosamond showing, this has turned to be a near full fleet. "Amakasu, do your thing!"

She looks to Kal, a nod... "Whatever you are doing, it is working, keep it up. And thank you for the akward gun." She aims, clicks, fires and continues moving to try and kick one more... "How dare you assault my Destroyer... How dare you assault the Fleet I've been charged to protect! You will not live to see any more sunrises... now sink!" she looks at the gun, trying to deduce a few things and fiddle with it before holding it awkwardly... the gun facing the wrong way.

Click... She fires the gun and hopes it has enough power to do her signature recoil punch!

Hoshi Amakasu (901) has posed:
By now, they'd managed to almost completely clear the clearing. As Rider chomps down upon one of the soldiers that fired at him and Nagato puts another through with the ray gun, there are only two left; one more soldier, and the brute that has finally managed to get up, though he leaves his weapon behind as he dumbly stumbles along towards Nagato and Hoshi.

Nagato's got a fire burning in her, and it's inspiring Hoshi, as well. "Yeah, that's my Persona. ANd now that we're close to the end, let's wrap this crap up! Rosamond!"

Rosamond had been going for the last remaining soldier Shadow, but Hoshi's command instead has her pushing off from the ground and going into the air. She floats there delicately, looking down at the battlefield, until she raises her sword to the sky. One of the many errant gleams hits her sword, and the weapon gleams a bright gold for a moment. "This is going to be bright!" Hoshi yells out, covering her eyes.

For a moment, most of the clearing is covered in a golden haze that forms into written prayers and talismans. They at first seem relatively benign until the words on each page begin to burn, and explosive Light magic fills the clearing. Thankfully, none of the adventurers are harmed, but they would be buffetted by the concussive force released by each blast. Both of the Shadows disappear in the many explosions.

When it's finally over, Hoshi uncovers her eyes and looks around quickly, before dropping to her butt with a thankful sigh. "We're safe..."

Kal Udar (932) has posed:
Kal covers his eyes hurriedly at the note that this would be bright. This only makes sense - he is a bird, after all. His vision is much better than other people's. The explosion of Light, therefore, meets the back of Kal's hands as it sweeps through the field.

Rider merely finishes devouring the creature and turns back to the group. Its maw is nowhere to be seen. It is bleeding green ooze from its dislocated arm, but it nonetheless hobbles over and holds out its hand politely for its raygun.

Kal whistles. "So that's not normal?"

Nagato has posed:
The mention of the bright light is given and Nagato lids her eyes, letting Amakasu finish it off and to watch how it goes. The sight of Rosamond doing her work and the partnership between the two... Nagato's head lowers, a small smile upon her face. She made the right choice in picking Amakasu as a destroyer, the explosions finally doing something as they make that skirt and hair of hers whip around.

Once it's all over, the Admiral picks her head up once more and opens her eyes, taking a look around the now empty field... "You... were not lying back then." she muttered, taking a brief look towards Rider, then the ray gun... then back to Rider. She gives a brief nod and hands the raygun back over towards the being, "You have my thanks, Rider of Kal."

Nagato drops back to her normal stance, stoic and imposing, turning to Kal. "I would think not, however, we cannot let our guard down. I'll have my..." a pause. She didn't bring her headpeice... her radar. "I came unequipped... my radar is back at Hikari... We'll have to be careful when going back or heading forth."

A look is given towards Amakasu, "Flagship? Lead the way."

Hoshi Amakasu (901) has posed:
It takes Hoshi a couple seconds before she finally gets up, panting as she looks around slowly. In the sky, Rosamond slowly fades away into nothing, like she'd never even been--but the golden eyes under her hood fall squarely on Rider and remain there until she is completely gone. "Normal? Not really. We're pretty sure most Shadows aren't intelligent, so the bad luck of running into one that wanted to fight us..." Hoshi grunts and rolls her eyes.

The look around gets her aware of everyone's situation. Poor Rider was in a bad state. "Ouch... It'd probably be best if we called it a night. I'm glad for the training, but if this luck continues we might run into the Wolf and just straight out get eaten. Don't worry about it so much, Admiral. We'll get out of here soon." Though a quick blush and a tiny grin comes to her face when she's called 'flagship'.

Before they head out, Hoshi makes sure to drop to her knee in front of Rider and bow her head. "I'm very grateful that you helped us, even though you got so hurt. Hopefully we won't see anything else." She stands and spins around slowly to re-orient herself with their position. "The entrance should be that way... Let's go." Takiing a firm stride, the kendo girl starts making her way along the Mirror Forest's darkened paths.
