Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
Parties seem to be a common theme in Malibu at the Stark mansion, and while the party last week might have been even bigger and more grandiose, there is somebody who worked extra hard for tonights festivities as well.

This will be her third birthday party, and so Toph has decided to up the ante. The first year it was a pizza party, the previous one it was a beach party, so this year it will be the greatest sleep over of all time. How many people can brag about having been to a slumber party at Iron Mans house? People who want to sleep over have been instructed to bring pjs and toothbrushes, sleeping bags if they want to, but there ought to be room enough for everybody in the house with all the guest rooms and couches. So thats one problem down.

Entertainment is another matter, and since karaoke seems to be a big hit at Tonys birthday parties at this place, Toph decided to get somebody to set up the necessary equipment if somebody wants to sing. Theres no contest though, but it ought to be great fun none the less. Gaming systems are set up even if the blind earthbender sees little amusement in them, she knows well enough that seeing people seem to enjoy them greatly. Movies are available to watch as the night moves on as well, because what slumber party is complete without horror movies?

    And of course theres food.

Its a good thing theres tons of places to order food from in the area, and since Toph couldnt decide on one dish, she has ordered from various places.

Which means that theres lots of stuff to unpack, she learns the hard way after several pizzas, burgers, Chinese, Mexican and other ethnic food has been delivered piping hot along with various beverages that most teens should like. The benches in the kitchen are overfilled, and the newly turned fifteen year old earthbender looks mightly pleased with herself, resting her hands on her hips.

This is going to be cruddin awesome, she declares to herself and the lucky chaperone for tonights slumber party. While she is certain she herself could keep things in check for tonight, Pepper was adamant in the necessity for an adult chaperone for this, though it could have been worse. It could have been somebody she didnt actually like!

It doesnt bother her that Captain America has become a somewhat glorified babysitter for tonight, and Toph even smiles and gives him a friendly punch in the arm before she heads out towards the living room. People are probably gonna arrive really soon!

Rarity (136) has posed:
How do you know when your guests have started to arrive? Easily. One of the first things coming bellowing through the condo is

"CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS SLEEPOVER PARTIERS YAAAAAAAAAY!"

As the small yellow pony, white unicorn and orange pegasus bombast through the door as soon as it's open and promptly dogpile (ponypile?) onto Toph! Even without being able to fly properly Scootaloo manages to get on top and thrust her hooves overhead. ("This is going to be the best party EVER!"

Rarity just sighs a little and shakes her head as she stops at the door, and gives Toph and Cap a small apologetic smile. "They've been waiting for this all week, they are... a little wound up." Even for their usual wealth of energeticness.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Fried chicken pieces? Check. Fried shrimp spring rolls? Check. Homemade curry dip? Check. A hundred pounds of barbecued pig? Very check. Making sure not to get caught up in spontaneous weekend traffic?

Sanary can't win them all. It's a good thing she's used to walking long distances! By the time she arrives at the mansion, she's looking just a little winded, but ready to relax and have some fun! The healer's decked out in a much more casual t-shirt and shorts outfit, and she's even come without weapons today! She's got everything crammed into a rather huge backpack, including her change of clothes and toothbrush and non-food items.

Did she actually get an invitation? Who knows. She's heard about the party on the radio, at least, and she's not about to not celebrate the continued survival of one of the few blind people she knows! "Hey, Toph! Uh. Am I early? Late? There was a little mess on the road, and... Er. I brought food!"

Staren has posed:
Staren teleports in in the front yard -- in addition to his usual gear, he's got a large backpack on which contains a sleeping bag and has pillows and a foam mat tied to it, just in case. He may not know just how many guest rooms the mansion /has/...

After taking a quick look around, Staren walks to the entrance. "Hey, Rarity, Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, Scootaloo." He offers a smile and a wave to the ponies, since he seems to have arrived at the same time. Sanary gets a brief look, but he doesn't recognize her in casual clothes. Yet.

Steve Rogers has posed:
Steve is still catching up with modern technology to some extent, but setting up a karaoke system doesn't seem that hard. Just follow the instructions in the manual, right?

And one earsplitting screech of feedback later, he's learned to look more carefully at the labels above each jack, rather than just depending on the manual's illustrations of which plug *should* go where. Everything went smoothly since then, although JARVIS might still be resetting a few of the audio pick-ups. He went from that to doing a 'perimeter check' - making sure that everything that needs to be secure is secure, and that nobody's going to wander into one of the off-limits parts of the house without making enough trouble to draw attention (and the necessary response). He's probably gotten one of those little in-ear radio things, so JARVIS can let him know quietly if something needs his attention.

By the time guests start arriving, Steve - not 'Captain America' tonight, just 'Steve Rogers' - is helping unpack the last of the food. He takes the punch in the arm with a grin at Toph, then looks up at the sound of the doorbell. "Seems like our guests are arriving right on time -"

Cue the Cutie Mark Crusaders announcing their arrival. And at least one of them can fly?

The short-lived look of resignation which crosses Steve's face is followed by a game smile. He didn't expect this to be THAT easy to start with, but he's not going to back out of his role as chaperone now.

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
Cirra Constantine bearly knows Toph from the radio, having never met the blind girl in person. But as soon as news of a multiversal sleepover party reached the ears of her pseudo-adopted sister of the royal family threats of 'doing there own' were flung about, and Cirra knows what that means - Shopping, makeup and hair curlers. Three of her most hated things.

If she has to deal with any of them, she'd rather take the venue that isn't retreading the exact same efforts.

The doorbell rings again, and Cirra stands just outside the door of 10808 Malibu point wearing a black turtleneck and skirt rather then her uniform(s) and holding up a tray of fresh baked creamy pasteries. Sweets are popular on Ramuh where the constant rain can get you down.

"Hello." she says impassively to Steve. "I'm here to have chaos, panic and confusion bestowed apon me by people I know nothing about in the hopes of avoiding my Prince's sisters from doing it instead."

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden found out about the slumber party when he visited for Tony's wedding, and got an invite as well. Of course, making his way over was a bit trickier, having to pretty much walk all around on his own, no fancy teleportations or anything!. Still, eventually he makes it to the front door, tail twitching behind him. "Hi!" he says, noticing a couple familiar faces, a face he knows just by reputation, and a couple of new ones. He seems intrigued about the ponies!, especially the crusaders, but that does not stop him from moving to give Toph a friendly greeting, "This looks great!."

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
The first guests to the slumber party are certainly lively, Toph will give them that. While she is prepared that they are on the other side of the door when it opens, she is somewhat less prepared for them dogpiling onto her, and the usually steady earthbender finds herself falling backwards! "Woah!" She's grinning though, managing to get back up and shaking her head slightly. "It's okay, Fashion Queen. They don't go to many parties, do they?"

The next guest though is somebody Toph didn't expect to show up, and she does recall Pepper stating 'Union people' only. But Sanary isn't like most Feds, and well... it can't hurt, right? Sanary would know better than to try some dastardly stuff here. So Toph offers a grin to the girl as well. "Party is just starting, and we got tons of food already, I personally made sure to keep all the fast food places and restaurants busy this afternoon." She's a Stark now, she's supposed to be weird, right?

Staren earns a punch in the shoulder when he steps inside, and Toph yanks on the backpack. "This is a sleepover, not a cross country trip! I doubt you need all of it." Unless he's bringing something fun, that is.

Another unexpected guest arrives, though Toph recognizes the voice easily enough, and Cirra earns a smile as Toph walks over and reaches out to accept the pastries. "Ah, thanks! I'll set these aside for later!" There's bound to be chaos all right, but Toph doesn't comment on it as she lets Cirra and Steve talk. Instead she turns her attention towards the Digimon who's arrived, and she looks amused. "Well, that's good! I can't tell what it looks like, but great was what I was going on." She does raise her voice so the other guests can hear her as well, "Come on in, food's in the kitchen, snacks have been set out in bowls around on various tables. And there are some rules in place! Nobody goes down to the basement or up the stairs, those areas are off limits! If you try it you'll get a rock to the noggin', the butt or other unmentionable places! Or we might just get the Iron Legion on our asses for snoopin' in Goldie's stuff and we don't want that," Toph declares firmly. "Guest rooms are in that area, toilet over there, we've got movies and video games, so this will be the bestest birthday party I've had so far."

Mairead Sandilands has posed:
Another had just arrived, carring very little as she has just a simple bag, which contants her sleepwear, comb, toothbrush, and the other neccessary items. As she arrives she stops and looks at the entrance of the house. Blinking, she ponders as she looks at the address, "This is the right place," she says in her scottish accent as she walks up to the door. As she pushes the doorbell, she steps back and looks around, and has never been to Malibu. "I wish I would have brought me swimsuit," she comments to herself as she hears the waves and smiles as she is not far from home, and it would only take a few hours for her to fly there, the best thing about having an IS that can fly at around 500 miles per hours...

Turning, she smiles as the door is open, "Excuse me," she says to whoever answered the door, "I received an invite to a..." and she pulls out the note, "A sleep over party at the residence of Toph Beifongs," she states as she puts the note away. As she is lead in, she stops and waits before she walks, as it is not nice to walk into someones home and to walk around. Listening, she hears the commotion and walks in that general direction and smiles when she sees two that she has meet, Rarity and Sanary, "Hello everyone," she says to those here as she looks around for Toph, and she has no idea who that is.

Looking at Steve, she blinks as he works and puts her bag down, "Hello," she says to him. "I am Mairead Sandilands, pleasure to meet you Mr. Stark," she says to him as she curtseies to him. "Congradulations on your marriage sir," she says to him, not knowing that Steve is not Tony. "If ye do not mind me to ask, where is your daughter Ms Beifong?"

Steve Rogers has posed:
"I'm not Mr. Stark," Steve says with a good-natured grin. "Steve Rogers, one of his colleagues; I was asked to chaperone tonight, make sure things don't get out of hand. Toph's the black-haired girl," he points Mairead in the right direction.

Then he looks over at Toph, "Should we start sorting out who's going to sleep where now, or wait until folks are actually going to sleep?" he inquires. He's taken stock of the guest rooms already, so he knows how many there are, how big they are, and how many people the beds can hold without crowding (or other shenanigans).

Rarity (136) has posed:
Applebloom emits a 'pffft' sound. "Nonsense! We've got parties all the time!" Though when Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle shoot a look in her direction she does relent with a little ear droop. " 'Cuz we throw 'em for ourselves."
The moment quickly passes though. There is no dulling that amount of energy for long. "But it doesn't matter, because this one is going to be bestest of the best!"
" 'Bestest' isn't a proper word, Scootaloo."
"Don't start being a dictionary already Sweetie Belle!"

And that would be when Rarity slides into the picture to shuffle the trio away from Toph. "Now you girls go put your nightbags away. Toph needs to welcome her other guests." Plus there is a faint "If they sleep at all" under her breath in response to Steve.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Union, Shmunion. Sanary's not a stranger to being surrounded by Unionites! From the looks of it, though? She might not have even thought about that distinction before showing up today. "Good to hear, Toph~ I brought some extra stuff just in case, and I got a home specialty in here in case you wanted too much pork for the next week." The grin's even coming through in her voice as she sets that backpack down off to the side, taking out all that Chinatown food cart stuff and the barbecued half-pig.

And then there's horses! Or ponies. Ponies. Sanary's seen horses in her world, but she's seen the ponies a few times since coming to the Multiverse. Snickering lightly at the different reactions as they arrive, she steps aside to not block up the entrance with her giant backpack. Staren gets a slightly longer look than the one he gives her, recognizing him fairly easily by his voice rather than his appearance.

Then again, it's not like it'd be hard to miss the cat ears. Although Steve isn't recognizable to Sanary without the Captain America outfit on, she does find herself staring quite a bit. By the time she even notices it, she just clears her throat and offers him an awkward wave before shuffling inside.

The fact that Cirra's there does get her to straighten up a bit, though, as Sanary peers at her classmate and offers a slow nod in greeting. "Cirra." She looks her over slowly, actually looking mildly confused for a moment before tilting her head a bit and even grinning. "... Huh. Didn't think you could look normal. Not a bad look~"

Alden's arrival takes what's left of that tension out of the healer as she tosses him a lazy wave as well. "Hey, Alden! Didn't know you knew Toph here, too." She sounds rather surprised at that. Just how many people does the Earthbender know, anyway?

Alden (930) has posed:
The digimon offers Toph a friendly hug, a very quick one, as far as he dared, before pulling away and moves towards the snack tables, searching around and sampling a few things!. He came... without anything, but he is used to sleep as he is, only with the fur he was wearing. After getting a snack, he decides to be social!. Sanary gets a friendly wave, being the only other person here he remembers having met personally, "Heya!." he offers,

"Yeah, we bumped into eachother a while ago!". he answers, smiling and offering her a small pat on the side, before turning towards Cirra, "A friend of yours?" he asks, wagging his tail slowly. "This is a very nice place." he says. He still is curious about the ponies, but he decided to greet Sanary first.

Staren has posed:
Staren gives a light chuckle at Toph's ribbing. "It's just a sleeping bag and stuff... they're kinda bulky, is all." He finds an out-of-the-way place to set the stuff down for now, though. "Food sounds good!" he grins and heads that way. If Twilight's going to be late, then he may as well take this chance to eat meat while /not/ in front of her. He assembled a plate of things to try with at least one pizza slice.

"It's probably better to sort out night stuff early -- we're not gonna wanna do it when we're sleepy, we're just gonna wanna go to bed." Staren points out.

Ziggy Grover has posed:
Being -late- was a pain in the butt. Ziggy couldn't help it, though. Having slacked on training, Ziggy's morning went fairly well in that he was -greeted- by a cannon emerging from the fridge in which he'd oh so innocently gone to get milk for cereal.

One quick morph and teleport out, Ziggy had to spend the rest of the day cleaning up the kitchen with a toothbrush while being lectured by Dr. K on the necessities of maintaining training lest he emerge in a very wrong place.

Like Summer's shower.

While she was in it.

So when he finally shows up at Toph's sleepover, it's with the air of one who could use a very nice, long, vacation.

The shouts of the Pony Brigade, though, causes the young man to wince, as he rings the bell, is admitted in, and begins trudging his way in, a backpack slung over one shoulder, a suitcase in his other hand. "Hey, where can I drop everything off...?" he asks, before noticing Staren's location. Good enough. Drop them there. And hope they don't mix up bags.

But food! Wait... "Hi, Toph, Tophee, Tophernaut, nice place you got here," he says, eyes widening as he looks up and all about. "Haven't seen anything like this, ever. Not even when Fresco Bob was doing his place up for his moll."

Mairead Sandilands has posed:
Looking, Mairead blinks, "My apologies," she says to him, "Mr. Rogers," she adds as she smiles and thinks as she nods, "That is good to have a chaperone..." she adds as she looks and knows little on electronics. "I hope that we do not cause you too much problesm," she mentions as she thinks and heads over towards Toph. "Hello," she says to Toph as she walks up to her. "I have not had a chance to meet ye, but I am Mairead. Nice ot meet you," she says as she curtseies and rises as she notices the little ponies, "Hello Rarity and Sanary," she says to the two people she knows here. "I guess the wee ones are like this all the time?" she asks in reference ot the Cutie Crusaders...

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
With Toph's sharp hearing she does overhear Mairead talk with Steve, and the girl snickers with an amused grin when the Scottish girl mistakes Mister Goody Two Shoes himself for Tony Stark. Those two are different enough that they could be on different sides in a war!

"I'm Toph Beifong," she states to Mairead who obviously haven't met her before. "And welcome to the party. Nice of you to stop by!"

Yup, it's amusing with the guests arriving, even if it's clear they are on different levels. With the little ponies clearly being the youngest and the ones who are probably going first to bed, with some of the older teens, there's an age gap there, but who cares? Steve does bring up a valid point, and Toph shrugs. "The girls can sleep in my room and the nearby rooms, and the boys can grab the rooms at the other end of the east west wing? The rooms are fairly big and the beds are large enough."

Ziggy's arrival causes Toph to mock groan, rolling her eyes at one of the nicknames. "Man, the news mishears my name /once/ and it get stuck? Heya Zigster, welcome to the party. Hope you brought an appetite and a hunger for fun, you're gonna need it!" With that she turns back to Staren and nods. "I dunno if Twilight is coming, I did put out a notice to the Union so maybe she shows up later?" Late arrivals are welcome, that's for sure. "Also, the pool's out on the patio if people brought their swimsuits! If not I'm sure there are some in the guest rooms." While she herself isn't too fond of the pool, maybe the guests will enjoy it.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
"Huh. Cool. Yeah, Toph goes to the same school I do. Went on a few missions with her, too." Sanary responds with a light chuckle at Alden, squatting after a moment to give herself a break after walking so much. "Blind girls like us gotta stick together, too. I mean.. Even if I kinda cheated to... Er. Long story." She snickers lightly, then nods in agreement. "It is! I'm... Uh. Not sure if I'm supposed to be here, though."

She's finally starting to notice the distinct lack of Confederates here. At least she's not getting run out! Mairead gets a light wave in greeting and a grin a moment later. "Hey, Mairead. Good seeing you again, too. Ah, I wouldn't know. Last time I saw ponies was back in their world a couple of... Half a year ago?" Had it really been that long? She shrugs. "Maybe. But that's what us older folks are here for. Can't let the kids get too rowdy."

It's not like she's that much older than anyone else here. She's even younger than some of them! The mention of a pool gets her eyebrow raising again, though, and she looks back towards Alden and Mairead. "Either of you know how to swim?"

Staren has posed:
Staren's ears splay at the idea Twilight might not be coming. Well, it's still a party...

When Mairead says Sanary's name, though, Staren's ears turn towards her and he looks around to see who's being adressed. Squinting at Sanary. "...Hmh." He doesn't say or do more than that, though. Cross-factional friendships are not unheard of, and as long as she doesn't start any trouble, hanging out with Unionites can only be a good influence for her, right?

Staren wanders around, carrying his plateful of food and eating off it as he meets people.

Rarity (136) has posed:
"It probably depends if she's gotten distracted by a book or not," Rarity retorts to Staren with a faintly bemused tone of her own. Let's see got the girls here. There's going to be no shortage of entertainment for them, even if the scarier movies have to be kept until the trio is in bed. Hopefully the three will just tire themselves out by that point with everything else going on.

She's got to keep an eye on those three, thank goodness she's not the chaperon for the entire party! Though she probably sympathizes with you all the same, Steve.

Being the slightly (haha, yeah as if only 'slightly') OCD pony she is Rarity next investigates the snack tables... Well more like foods... Chips, various teenager approved drinks (so mainly soda), definately some of the pizzas are cheese or vegetarian since Toph knew the Equestrians were coming... Tch, it's still mostly modern society casualist snack food.

Rarity wanders off into the kitchen for a moment. Certainly someone of as elite status and regular socialite entertaining as Tony Stark has something as appropriately snack food finess as a fondue pot...

Ziggy Grover has posed:
"Got two stomaches. One for meats, one for sweets. And a suitcase full of magic tricks. I'll put on a show for you. Two words: Shadow puppets," Ziggy proclaims proudly, puffing his chest out as he looks around. "Man, no chocolate fountain this time...? I liked that thing. I'll settle for a cheese fountain."

Steve Rogers has posed:
Steve nods to Toph, "Sounds like a good plan. Shall we start getting bags stashed, then? No reason to keep backpacks or other bags out here in the main party area ..."

He can even start 'assigning' rooms by taking bags to where their owners will be sleeping ... and making sure that he's got a good place to 'stand guard' during the night. He may have been dragooned into chaperoning on a good-natured lark, but he *is* going to take his duty seriously. He can only be in one place at a time, though, so hopefully nothing catastrophic happens while he's getting things squared away in the guest rooms. Good thing JARVIS doesn't have those limits within the house.

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
"Hello Toph." Cirra identifies the Earthbender because who else is blind and can see? - She hasn't heard of Daredevil yet.

The ununiformed Judge looks at Sanary. "Rondal." she frowns a bit. "Landon's sisters have ensured that I have an extensive wardrobe." she sighs. "I barely know whats in it most days."

Cirra turns towards Adel and nods her head, "Sanary and I... attend the same school." she sugar coats their relationship.

"I do occasionaly like to relax, but usually it's by reading. Going out to parties isn't my norm."

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden blinks a bit and nods a few times, "Cool!, I just met her after talking with her on the channels. She is really cool." he says softly. He pats Sanary's side again, and smiles, "Well, I am not a very good swimmer, I can paddle around as a garurumon, but I might scare people if I do that." he says, rubbing the back of his head a bit. "How about you?, can you swim?" he asks. He of course waves to the others, and when Cirra approaches, the digimon is happy to approach in turn, "I'm Alden."

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
On her quick inspection of the kitchen Rarity is bound to notice all the purchased food (which of course includes vegeterian options) that covers the counters and kitchen isle, but there's also the cupboards with various goods in them. Including a chocolate fountain, a fondue set, fine luxury foods one might purchase in this part of California, lots of fruits and vegetables and stuff that is perhaps more suitable to finer tastes that teenagers seem to lack.

It's indeed a good thing that Jarvis is on Steve's side tonight, as Tony's majordomo is keeping a close eye on the guests and what's going on in the house. "I will alert you to any nocturnal disturbances should they arise, Mister Rogers," the program says into Steve's earpiece. Perhaps it also helps that Toph is determined to be allowed more parties in the future, so upsetting Pepper is probably not a wise move. And the blind girl knows this house like the back of her hand, not to mention she's able to keep a figurative eye on things going on herself.

"There's a chocolate fountain in the kitchen," Toph responds to Ziggy's dismay. "Shouldn't be hard setting it up, we always have chocolate in the cupboard. Cheese fountain...? Eh, that sounds just plain icky."

Once the sleeping arrangments have been sorted out, Toph gestures to the kitchen. "Okay, let's go grab some food! I'm obviously not much of a gamer myself, but Goldie has a sweet set up if anybody wants to play some games, Cap set up the karaoke system for those who likes singing, and we got movies for later! Hope you like cheesy horror stuff!" For now she's hungry, and the food won't stay warm forever.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
"Landon's got sisters? Makes sense... Didn't peg you as the type to pick this sort of outfit out yourself. Still, looks good." Sanary chuckles lightly before turning to Alden, nodding a moment later when Cirra gives that response. It's probably easier that way than explaining the fights, at least. "You should get out more. And not just for jobs, either. Learn more about things, about yourself, maybe..."

Sanary glances around, then leans in a bit to whisper to Cirra. "... Ways to catch Landon." She raises her eyebrows once before stepping back, a coy little smirk on her face. Turning back to Alden, she nods and even grins confidently. "Best swimmer in my village. Er. Back when it... A Garurumon? What's that?" Bullet dodged!

Staren has posed:
"Oh... I guess..." Staren replies to Steve. He sets his food down and goes to grab his stuff and claim a room. Then he comes back, and sits in the TV room with his food to watch whatever people do while he eats.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden is not sure what the whispering was about, tilting his head but thankfully, the question catches his attention, turning his focus that way, "You know, I think you saw it, I can transform into a large wolf creature." he says softly, "I'd show you, but I am affraid Toph my kick my tail if I did that." he says softly, chuckling. "Movies, not too familiar with those, but might be fun to watch one or two." he says, "But first, perhaps I should get some more snacks, getting a bit hungry."

Mairead Sandilands has posed:
Looks and blinks at the mention of a pool and smile,s "I forgot me swimsuit but I know how to swim," she comments and nods ot Toph, "Thank you for having me," she responds and looks at Sanary. "Ye never learned how to swim?" she asks her as she walks over ot the kitchen to look at the food. "Last time I saw this much food, was at me mom and dads wedding anniversity," she remarks on the food.

Thinking, Mairead does have a swimsuit, well not really a swimsuit, but a suit that could work as a swimsuit, which is her IS training suit that the IS pilots wear. If she had to, she could use that and luckily she has her IS training suit on under her cloths. Additionally, for those that know or have meet Mairead, her hair is normally braided but is now lose. "I spend a few days on the beach right outside the IS Academy last week, enjoying the sun," she mentions. "Plus, I do not have a swimsuit," she adds. "Well, own a swimsuit," she corrects. Cloths wise, she does not have much, as normal attire is her IS Academy Uniform and a few changes of cloths for break and trips home. "However, I can show ye how to swim, and it is fun to just let the wave wash over you and to relax," she comments to Sanary as she gets a few things on her plate.

Looking at Alden she blinks, "I have never seen a Garurumon... nor do I know what one is," she comments as she sits her plate down and takes her bag to the room that Steve or whoever assigned to people. Stopping in the room, she whistles at it and sits her bag down before returning, "Ye sure this is not a castle? The rooms look like this?" she asks.

Rarity (136) has posed:
Excellent! ... Though let's not think of the other things a man like Tony Stark might get the impulse to do with melted cheese or chocolate. Because there are children present. Moving on!

Rarity shifts a few things around with her magic to make room for the fondue pot and heating element on the countertop, away from any bags or other things that could be accidentally flammable. Fridge, cheese, check. "Stick to chocolate fountain!" She remarks at overhearing the other conversation, and despite all the other tasks she's got going easily picks up the fountain with her magic too and hands it to Ziggy. "We will have cheese covered shortly enough." Cheese into the pot to melt. Now we just need to make things suitablly sized for dipping. Of course the Stark kitchen has resturant quality cutlery, because what rich person doesn't? Just slice up some of the fruit...

And that would be when everyone else comes in, and seeing what Rarity is doing, the CMC's faces all light up. "Rarity is making fondue girls. It's like the one cool party thing she actually does." "I heard that!" Though her retort is entirely ignored as Sweetie Belle leans up to the counter to grab the dipping utensils with her weak magic. "I've got the forks!"
Scootaloo's little wings do a great hummingbird effect as she buzzes up and grabs a couple of wrapped loaves. "I've got the bread!"
And Applebloom scoots under a bowl of fruit to balance it on her head, ignoring that Rarity already had it so she could peel and slice them. "And Ah got the fruit!"

... And the three all dart back at the same time and promptly collide in the middle of the kitchen. The end up in a pile as fruit and bread goes tumbling all over, the bowl thumps upturned on Applebloom's head, and the forks all thankfully just land comically around them somehow instead of hitting anyone.

Rarity just... rubs her face with one hoof... "Girls...."

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
"Yes." Cirra says to Sanary, "He has six sisters." Eegads, sixn? Despite that she looks at Sanary levely. "I did *pick* the parts of the outfit myself. They just force me to buy them."

She looks at Alden. "Cirra Constantine. Judge, and Black Knight." she turns as she hears Toph mention food, and fondue? Well that bares investigating. "I'm going to partake of our host's hospitality." So she walks towards the kitchen.

And finds four horses, three of them very tiny, one of them flying and the oldest with one hell of a hairstyle.

Cirra sighs. The only horses on Galandia are Mad Ponies. This is going to be a long day.

Steve Rogers has posed:
Steve doesn't even need JARVIS to tell him there's trouble in the kitchen; the sound of smallish bodies colliding and things crashing and clattering is enough to quicken his pace on the way back from getting the guest rooms sorted out. There might be some extra clothes that need to be relocated from the designated guys' rooms to those of the ladies' (or further out of the guests' ways), but that's not something he personally needs to take care of ... right? At least not immediately.

"Everyone okay?" Steve asks as he arrives in the kitchen - without running, yet; just a decisively fast walk. He moves to make sure the CMC are uninjured first - he may not know much about equine anatomy, but checking for bumps and bruises shouldn't be THAT different across species. Once all three are confirmed okay, then he'll start picking up the forks, probably to wash them before trying to put them to use again.

Ziggy Grover has posed:
Having followed Rarity to the kitchen, Ziggy flashes a grin at Rarity, before raiding the fridge. The door open, though, Ziggy peers cautiously through the fridge, answering the 'why are you looking at the fridge so suspiciously?' question with a 'Wouldn't surprise me if Stark had laser beam cannons out of his fridge. You know, to keep people on their toes. Or to ambush innocent people just looking for milk. Or if a supervillain came in and decided to raid his fridge. Don't laugh, it happened to us."

There was a brief moment, before Ziggy exclaims, "Just -how many kinds of cheese- does this guy have?!"

Staren has posed:
Noone is gaming for Staren to critique, and there's a lot of noise coming from the kitchen, so Staren heads that way. When he sees the CMC pile, he asks, "Everyone okay?" He echoes the Captain's earlier question, but doesn't feel the need to inspect them -- if they're hurt they'd say something, right? He sets his plate on a counter and starts picking things up. Where mess has been made or wet food has hit the floor, he applies a spraycan pulled from that bag of his -- in a few minutes it'll be clean like magic.

"There are a /lot/ of kinds of cheese, haven't you seen the sketch?" Staren replies to Ziggy.

Mairead Sandilands has posed:
Looking as everyone heads to the kitchen, Mairead grabs her plate and walks there as well. Looking, she blinks, "I have never seen ponies in a pile before," she states in reference to the CMCs. Thinking she looks at Staren, "Too bad we do not have any good Scottish food," she comments as she looks at the chocolate thing and the cheese fondue. "What are ye making Rarity?" she asks the designer of the dress she got for Lute's V Day party.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
Mairead is given a nod from Toph. "Kinda figured some of the guests would like the pool, it's usually really nice and warm, just make sure you guys don't leave the patio door open. The cat might sneak out," she informs the other girl. Where is said cat? Who knows. Buster goes where he wants to.

Well, the party is becoming lively! Toph can't help but grin when the Cutie Mark Crusaders mess things up in the kitchen somewhat, though it seems Steve is already handling it as Toph brings some of the pizzas out to the living room, as well as some of the other food so people can actually sit on the couch and eat, that's more fun than being stuck in the much smaller kitchen (but still larger than most kitchens).

On her way back to pick up some soda and lemonade she does arch an eyebrow as she notices Ziggy being weird around the fridge. "As many kinds of cheese as an eccentric billionaire superhero needs, obviously."

Rarity (136) has posed:
Unsurprisingly the trio of foals are unhurt, just a little disoriented from the collision. "Thanks but we's just dandy. No problem." "Yeah, we do that, like, *a lot*" And Sweetie Belle just rolls her eyes at the two practically bragging about how often they accidentally run into things. At least there's no tree sap and pinecones involved!

"Likely at least one of everything," Rarity replies to Ziggy. Then leans a little closer to add in a hushed tone, "Just don't think about how much some of those exotic cheeses likely *cost*" and then goes back to checking the fondue. Last thing we need is the cheese boiling over. She magics over some dipping forks once Steve has cleaned them, "It's called a fondue, dahling. Consider it a wee bit of classy food to go with all the... snacks." She spears a piece of apple with one fork and dips it in, then takes a nibble to test. "Ah, manifeque! Here, try for yourself dear." She offers a fork to Mairead, and there's plenty to go around for everyone.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden turn to Mairead, smiling, "Well I don't mind showing off what I can do, but I don't want to freak out anyone, it's not like it is dangerous... just a bit unusual perhaps, and a huge wolf beast can be scary." he says, "Basically, imagine a wolf, only the size of a person, with fur that looks like the pelt I am wearing.". he tries to explain quietly. The conmotion at the kitchen gets his attention, "Should we go there to check on what is going on there?"

Ziggy Grover has posed:
So much cheese, check. Well, what the heck, the more cheeses, the better.

Armed with as much cheese as he could carry, Ziggy brings them over to the table and starts poking around. Holey cheese, crumbly cheese, soft cheese... blue cheese... "Okay, so we probably can't just put them -all- in wily-nily. Let's see, which ones are going to go well with it... Any opinions...? How about this lovely smoked gouda! In it goes. And then... hm, gorgonzola. Fresh raw gorgonzola... a bit of this white cheddar... hey, hey, ponies, back up, can you even -eat- this? Rarity! Help!"

Mairead Sandilands has posed:
Looking at Alden she nods, "It was nothing," she remarks as she thinks. "Ye know, I have never been to a sleepover before," she comments as she walks and helps with the food being carried. "Is there anything I can help move out here?" she asks Toph as she tries the fork of cheese form Rarity. "That is good," she remarks.

Rarity (136) has posed:
Rarity grabs a couple of cheeses with her magic before Ziggy topples over and drops them all. "Would I be making cheese fondue if we could not?" She replies, kind of pointing out how silly Ziggy's question was. "But don't shove those all in at once, not all cheese melt at the same rate. Some the harder cheeses are probably better sliced with crackers, too."

The trio grab some of the chips and other pony safe snacks and head back to the living room, because there is still video games and stuff to do!... Can you even play video games with hooves? Well of course. "Button Mash would be so jealous of this setup!"

Staren has posed:
"I like bleu cheese too, but I think for this something like cheddar is best." Staren comments, spearing some bread with a bit of spiced meat on his fork and about to dip it when he thinks better of it -- he removes the meat, dips the bread, then eats it together /with/ the meat. "Mm!" he grunts approvingly.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Oh yeah. Big wolf! So that's what that form's called." Sanary nods in response to Alden, following him and Mairead to grab some food for herself as well. It'd be a shame not to try what else Toph bought for this party, after all, and... Well, the cleric can be a bit of a glutton if left to her own devices. Thankfully, she only grabs a bit of everything instead of going nuts on the food.

     For now.

"I've swam before. Just making sure you all knew." Sanary chuckles in response to Mairead, a thoughtful hum escaping her after a few moments. "Haven't really gone swimming lately, though... Er. You know. No..." Don't say missions. Don't say missions. "... Class trips to anywhere involving swimming." Good save.

Of course, that little trip to the kitchen just happens to coincide with the ponies charging inside as well. She opens her mouth to say something before stopping, glancing over at Cirra, Steve, Ziggy, and Staren as they follow suit.

"... Cheese is good, too. You think putting the pizza in the fondue'll be a bad idea?" Not like it being a bad idea's going to stop her from trying it later, of course, but still.

Eve (857) has posed:
Eve arrived at some point, making little fuss, then promptly realized just how many people were here. Shyness immediately kicked in and she went looking for some place where there weren't quite so many people in it to make her feel foolish for not knowing about important things like how to behave at a party. It's her first party after all. Her first party ever. Such things tend to be awkward, embarrassing, and not at all easy to understand.

Some time later, after reading every book in the mansion she can reach, all of them she hasn't actually read before - YES all of them - she makes her way down again to where others might be, rubbing her eyes a little tiredly. She's probably the youngest present not counting the CMC or Alden, but there's more to a sleepover than just showing up and going to sleep right?

Right, there's also food. She enters the kitchen, blinking as there's so many others already there. But hey, she's committed now. Backing out would just be embarrassing. "Ah. Hello." she greets. "There is pizza? And ... cheese. And a fondue. I should have some." she considers.

Steve Rogers has posed:
Steve nods to Staren in appreciation for the clean-up help ... and looks, somewhat helplessly, at the assorted cheese getting melted for the fondue.

He doesn't know much about cheese, although he does know what he personally likes and he has to trust the judgment of those who have a more direct hand in the fondue than he does personally. Hopefully none of the cheese getting used is so expensive that Tony was saving it for other events than this one. Or that Pepper was (which might be worse).

He does, however, take a chunk of bread and a fondue fork, using the latter to dip the former in the cheese and munching experimentally. "Hm. Not bad, but the pizza's already got melted cheese and some other stuff on it, so dipping it in the fondue seems like it might be excessive," he suggests to Sanary. And with that said, he heads out (after one piece of fondue'd bread for an 'appetizer') to get some food together for himself, as well as grabbing a napkin. Once he's assembled a plate, he takes a curious look over some of the video games in the entertainment center's library ... he probably shouldn't settle in to play anything, but knowing what's there is probably a good idea.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
"Just help move whatever into the living room," Toph responds to Maired with a nod. "Better to eat in the living room, right? Most of the snacks are there anyway for later." She grabs another armful of food, and then overhears Sweetie Belle's comment about the gaming setup. "Yeah, Goldie brags about it all the time!" The TV is as large as they make them, really, covering a large part of the wall. "Jarvis, turn on the console!" Toph orders the technical majordomo of the household, and Jarvis complies as the gaming console starts up. Seems like there's mostly digital games, mostly FPS games by the look of it. Who knew Tony played these things?

One late comer doesn't escape Toph's attention, and the blind girl turns her head slightly when Eve arrives. "Ah, nice of you to join us, Egg Slayer!" Toph did notice that Eve was off in the office area. "Grab some food!" Personally she will stick with some of the pizza first and try fondue after the others have gotten to try it.

Mairead Sandilands has posed:
nods and goes ot grab some snacks, whichever they are, and carries them into the living room. "At least Cecilia is not here and cooking," she mentions as she heard about some of the things that happened to people. "She is not very good..." she adds as she shakes her head and goes to get more. "If I can ask, what do you do at a sleepover?"

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden seems to get curious abouit the gaming systems, so after gathering some snacks, he approaches the group of fillies already at the controls, "Hi!" he offers, "I'm Alden, nice to meet you." he adds, rumbling happily and sitting besides them, "Never played these things, but heard they are rather neat."

Ziggy Grover has posed:
"Right, I'll set up the tray," Ziggy responds, heading over to find a large dish in orer to arrange the cheese. Raiding the shelves was proving to be an adventure. "How do you even -find- anything...?" Ziggy exclaims, half in frustration, before starting when JARVIS responds.

After a brief exchange in which Ziggy establishes that, yes, Jarvis knows where everything is, Ziggy has several kinds of crackers, the cheese, and recommended 'complementary' products to go with it.

As he's carrying things out, Ziggy has to ask Cap, "Doesn't it feel weird knowing that some computer is watching your every move?"

Sanary Rondel has posed:
"It... Probably is, yeah." Sanary responds to Steve with something resembling a defeated sigh, but... It'd probably be a lot more convincing if she wasn't dousing her slice of pizza with fondue cheese already. She's made her bed, so it's time to sleep in it!

Figuratively, anyway. She's not ready to sleep yet. "Sleepovers? You watch TV, play games, talk about stuff, eat too much, and... I think that's about it until everyone just passes out."

On the way back to the living room, she takes a small bite out of the fondue'd pizza and pauses for a moment, the incredibly cheesy and somewhat odd mix flavors not discouraging her from taking another bite. And the another. And another.

She's already finished eating that slice by the time she even gets to the couches. Oh well. Sanary's about to turn back for the kitchen again when she hears Toph calling someone 'Egg Slayer', and her curiousity ends up getting the better of her. Spotting Eve, the cleric just stares at her blankly for a while before waving at her with her clean hand and grinning broadly. "Welcome! Food's this way." She waves Eve over, then gets back into the kitchen to get even more food! So much for not eating too much.

Staren has posed:
Staren slices the bread, dips a few in the fondue, adds it to his plate, and heads back out to the living room. It's hard to eat and play games, at the same time, though... Or is it? Seeing a wireless controller gives Staren an idea, and after fiddling with it for a moment, he's tricked the console into believing /he's/ a wireless controller, and decides to see how well he can do at one of Tony's favorites, or take on Sweetie Belle if she's so inclined. Trying to play and eat at the same time is still distracting, though...

Rarity (136) has posed:
"Considering who owns this condo I doubt 'excessive' is a valid excuse to not try something," Rarity remarks. Once Sanary has her pizza dipped Rarity moves the fondue pot to a serving cart and pushes it closer to the kitchen door. So it is still in easy reach but not likely to get knocked over in whatever madcap shenanigans eventually happen in the living room. She's content to just dip some more fruit and bread for herself and sample Ziggy's work with the cheese and cracker tray.

Scootaloo, being the lightest present due to pegasus-ness, opts to sit on the back of the couch so no one else blocks her view. "Too bad Rainbow Dash isn't here, she'd beat all of you because she's that awesome!" Applebloom just gives her fangirling a dirty look that is utterly ignored.

Sweetie Belle plops down on her hindquarters and props the controller between her back hooves in front of her, so she can just hit the buttons with her adorable little forehooves, it would seem. She doesn't have the finess her sister has with magic yet to use the controller that way.

Steve Rogers has posed:
"JARVIS's discretion is pretty much unparalleled," Steve answers Ziggy, "except by other butlers. Besides, this *is* Tony Stark we're talking about - 'genius billionaire playboy philanthropist,'" he rattles off Stark's own non-superhero description of himself. "I don't think he'd trust the security in his own house to anything less than an impeccably reliable system."

Although on that note, Steve pauses to look around and do a quick head-count among the guests. If anyone's not in the main living room at the moment, he glances out to the pool ... and if there's still anyone else missing from the head-count, Steve can check with JARVIS and go looking around himself.

From 'Sentinel of Liberty' to sentinel of the sleepover ... but he's doing it willingly. He might need a return favor from Tony down the line, though.

Eve (857) has posed:
Eve scowls at being called Egg Slayer. Again. Her scowl's kind of adorable unfortunately, so it doesn't really convey the displeasure she'd wish. She then blinks at Sanary as the cleric greets her. Food. Yes, food is good. She pads along on slippered feet, following Sanary towards food. Once there, she begins gathering a fairly significant meal. Not Saiyan-sized or anything, just a lot for such a tiny girl. She's not choosy, but pizza and cheese are GOOD STUFF.

"You've been to a lot of sleepovers?" Eve ends up asking Sanary, having heard her indicate what people do at them. She doesn't recognize the one-eyed girl, but probably wouldn't care about her allegiance even if she did. Eve's not very judgmental that way.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
Finding things in the kitchen can be quite a task considering how much stuff there actually is there, it seems that Tony Stark really is a man who has everything. It makes it far easier to make some decent meals for the party. Overhearing Ziggy's comment, Toph can't help but speak up. "It's not so bad, you get used to Jarvis! It was a bit annoying when he was tattling on every little thing I did, though!" In response Jarvis speaks up so everybody can hear his response to Toph. "Miss Beifong, informing Mister Stark about your rule bending is not considered 'tattling' as much as doing what I was programmed to do."

"You get used to the way he talks, too," Toph adds as if she didn't just hear Jarvis. Sure, the walls might have eyes and ears, but Jarvis isn't /that/ bad.

Rainbow Dash /would/ be a fun addition to the party, maybe she will stop by later? "Gotta agree with Scootaloo," the blind girl grins as she gets settled on the couch, flinging her feet up. "You guys better describe this video game to me so I can pay attention too." All she can do is hear the sound effects and music, and it doesn't exactly tell her as much as movies do. What matters is that the guests are having fun!

"You guys better know some pretty good ghost stories too for later."

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
After the actions that shall henceforth be refered to as 'the begining of the Fondue Incident' Cirra returns to the living room with a small plate avilable food. She pauses as she watches steve running around to check for everyone.

    "Is something the matter?"

Ziggy Grover has posed:
"I feel very, very sorry for whenever you have to take your dates home," Ziggy replies, as he sets everything down where they should be, then starts eating, before regarding the ponies trying to play. "Forget the controllers, try using the motion detection system. Wait, do you have any of those dance games...?"

Sanary Rondel has posed:
With Eve in tow, Sanary follows suit in collecting some more food for herself. She's got a big appetite, but she's at least making sure to try a bit of everything first to know what's what. "Aah... A few. Mostly with the same group, but enough to know how these usually go." She chuckles with the feigned wisdom of a senior, although... Well, she's not /that/ much older than Eve, right?

"They're fun, and it helps you get to know 'em better if you didn't already. Or even meeting new people like..." She gestures vaguelyback at the living room before starting to head that way, already nibbling on a piece of meat. "Name's Sanary. Good to meet you, Miss...?"

Staren has posed:
Staren takes a moment to go through the game library, and finds a First-Person Shooter where 1. everyone is robots so there's no blood, and 2. there's a coop mode, and off they go!

    In the year 24XX...
The nefarious Dr. Karasu has unleashed time-travelling killer robots all across history!
The only ones who can stop them...
Are Dr. Brain's robotic assistants, Kick and Conker!
Hopping through time with Dr. Brain's own time machine, they must stop Dr. Karasu's robots, and restore the timeline to everlasting peace!

And that's why they're fighting their way across pirate ships in the first level, shooting robots dressed like pirates right down to the peg legs and robotic parrots. Yeah, it's that kind of game.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
A snort leaves Toph where she sits. "If I do have a date it will be far away from here!" Nopes, nothing remains secret in this house for long with Jarvis on the lookout. "Hey, Cirra! Come sit down and eat before the food gets cold!" Besides, there's gaming going on!

Rarity (136) has posed:
... And that is literally what she does. I mean, Sweetie Belle is pretty much just jabbing the controls with her hooves. There is no rhyme or reason at all to it, just move shoot move shoot move shoot erratically around the stage.... though considering it's the first stage of a FPS that's pretty much all it takes, right?

"Hay, ain't you one of those digimon critters?" Applebloom and Scootaloo peer at Alden for a moment. Not a Gabumon but there's been Digimon visiting Equestria before.
Then the latter leans over to give his horn a poke. "Nice horn, but wings are still cooler.
"Yer just biased."
"I am not!" And the bag of chips is tossed aside as she hops off the couch back to tackle Applebloom! The two wobble back and forth, then teeter off the edge.
And on top of Sweetie Belle, who tries to just push them back up without letting go of the controller. But hits the control stick with one hoof when she does so, moving right into a robot's attack instead of dodging. "Ugh, girls, stop it! You're gonna make me miss!"

Eve (857) has posed:
Eve balances a plateful of foods, mostly pizza and poptart variety, with some attempt at dignity as she follows Sanary around. "Miss... Eve." she replies. No last name given, of course.

Eve looks around, seeing who else she knows here. The CMC of course, and Rarity from Halloween. The gaming room seems to be where people are assembling right now. She's got no real problem with joining other people, particularly not when she's already read her fill and acquired food to eat her fill as well. She might not be super-social, but it's not like she dislikes people. She just dislikes looking like she doesn't have a clue. Which often she doesn't.

Eve pauses when she finds Toph again. "You said I have to earn a new nickname." she says in a deadpan. "Well, I am prepared. If it means I have to challenge you, I will. Cooking or combat, your choice." she demands.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden does notice the fillies seem a bit too eager about the game, so he lets them get to it, at least for a moment, watching curiously at the screen, the controllers, and simply getting a closer look at the three similar little ponies while he eats a bit of cheese covered bread. Still, seeing them have fun at the game makes him inch closer.

When the fillies talk tohim, he lets out a cute squeak, chuckling a bit, "Yes!, so youknow about digimon?" he asks curiously, tilting his head a bit and looking at Scootaloo. The horn touch is met with a chuckle, "I like your wings, they are cute." he says happily. The small argument makes him let out a squeak, reaching to try to separate them, "Don't fight!, you will make her lose the game." he says, pointing to Sweetie as she focused on the game. "How do you use a controller with those cute hooves?" he suddenly asks.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
"Eve. Nice name~" Sanary's doing a decent job behaving at the moment, although the urge to hug Eve is certainly rising. There's something oddly familiar about her, and that strangely serious challenge to Toph just reinforces the urge to hug. Maybe it's just from knowing another young blonde girl, but...

Well, The cleric's not going to intrude on their challenge if that's what's going to happen, although there is a mischievous look in the healer's eye as she takes a seat at the couch and watches the two. "Oh, this'll be a good one..." She comments, clearing her throat before stuffing her face with party foods. Mostly meat and pizza, of course, since... It'd be rude not to eat those things! "You two need a commentator on this?"

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
Cirra gets called over by Toph before she can really get a response from Steve. She looks over her shoulder at the younger girl, "I'll be there in a moment." She looks back to Steve. "I'm sorry. Try not to get too ccaught up in it, or you'll tire yourself out. You doing a remarkable job staying on top of things as they are."

She turns and heads to the couch, "What kind of game is this?" she asks as she finds a place to sit. "I don't...really play anything."

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
It's kinda adorable with how Sweetie Belle is playing, because Toph can tell that she doesn't really have that much control over the controller. Staren using his entire body as a controller isn't too weird, considering there are those motion sensor games. So Toph can pay attention to the players, but not the game itself aside from the sounds.

When Eve speaks to her Toph doesn't turn her head, mostly because she doesn't have to. And it might be a good thing, since she does a little spit take when Eve... challenges her? At her own birthday party? "Seriously...?!" Toph snicker snorts, reaching up to wipe her mouth. "Miss Beifong, might I remind you what happened the last time you attempted to co--" Jarvis begins, but Toph speaks up before he can finish. "I know, I know! Well, since this is a sleep over, the challenge should be appropriate... tell a better ghost story than me later, and I'll consider giving you a new nickname," she declares, then scoots over so Cirra can sit down too. Not that the couch is small by any means. "I don't play games either, kinda hard to do it right without working eyes," Toph comments. "I think it's a game where you shoot things."

Rarity (136) has posed:
The Digimon intervention does get the two fillies off Sweetie Belle's back, though they're giving Alden odd looks again instead. "Why does ev'ryone worry 'bout how we use hooves? What else are we gonna use?" "Not like we all have magic... Or whatever he's using, Scootaloo adds, waving in Staren's direction.

"There have been a few Digimon to visit our world on occasion," Rarity chimes in to answer the actual question.

Sweetie Belle does give a cute little squeak of appreciation when the pressure is off her back. And despite the awkardness of her controls she gets a power up!... which gives her character a gatling gun. That shoots cats to latch onto robots' faces and scratch them to death. Adorable death by angry kitten. "Hey Sis, you thi--"
"No" Rarity flatly cuts her off before she can even get to ask about launching Opal out of a gun.

Steve Rogers has posed:
That was one of the more 'general audiences'-appropriate games Steve saw while he was looking over the gaming library, and he recognizes as he comes back from making the rounds. He glances at the game already underway ...

"Is that the Catling gun?"

Never say Steve doesn't have a sense of humor, but maybe he's seen people playing this game before. (He probably has. Maybe he's played it.)

He also goes around to collect some more food for himself, making sure that the food tables are still relatively tidy.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden earsplays, "I didn't mean it was something bad! I was just curious, that's all." he says softly, a bit meekly, as if embarassed. He tries to change the subject a bit, "So, what are your names?" he asks the pegasus and the earth pony, smiling softly. He sees the cat gun and blinks, "Odd weapon." he says softly. The answer from the bigger pony gets a happy chirp from him, "Thank you!, I didn't know there were that many digimon roaming around... I met a couple, but that's it.".

Staren has posed:
Staren is sitting there eating. His headcomputer is telling the console it's a wireless controller. Fortunately for Toph, this is a fairly modern game so there's lots of handholding exposition voiceover. "You're pretty good at this with hooves... Oop, watch out for the boss!" They've come to land and a secret pirate base... "A /tank/, seriously? Hmm... that turret moves slow, run in front of it back and forth, I'll plant the explosives behind it!"

The tank fires cannonballs and is wearing a giant pirate hat. It has big, expressive angry eyes on it, because it's a robot tank. This is a silly game.

Eve (857) has posed:
Eve has no idea if it's appropriate or not to challenge her rival at her own birthday party. If she knew it was wrong, she wouldn't have done it. Or maybe she would... Eve's pretty competitive. But done is done, and there's a certain aptness in Toph's counter-challenge.

"Agreed." Eve says firmly. Then immediately she wanders over to the ponies playing games, apparently without a care in the world now that she's fed, read, and had her challenge issued. The whole idea of video games is kind of trivial, she thinks. She's rather learn to fight in the real world. So much more useful. But it's also fascinating, and she flops down bonelessly to study the screen, her plate of foods pushed out before her in easy reach so she can feed both mind and body simultaneously.

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
Carefully eating a slice of pizza with the studious nature of a perfectionist, Cirra watches the video game in play and asides to Toph. "I don't really understand the appeal either." she admits.

"Boardgames though, I play those. Mostly I just read in my off time. I don't have much when your a bodygaurd and a student though."

Mairead Sandilands has posed:
Mairead has been sitting and watching, eating her food slowly as she watches the CMCs tumble, "Ye two are like soe of the wee little ones around my home town," she comments as she finishes her plate and stands up, to get more food. Heading into the kitchen, she gets a drink than returns to look at everyone as she gets a few more snacks. Looking at Eve she nods to here adn smiles as she looks. "So you mor eor less tell stories, play games and have fun at Sleepovers?" she asks as she was off in lala land for a while. "Almost liek what we did at boarding school," she adds as she gets a piece of pizza and loosk at Sanary as she eats, "I have not figured out the reason why video games are so fun," she mentions. "I prefere to read more than anything," she adds as she sits next to Cirra and Toph.

Rarity (136) has posed:
"Applebloom!" "Scootaloo!" ... And silence. They both peer at the unicorn filly for a moment, and then Applebloom reachs over to poke the back of her curly maned head. "Sweetie Belle! Com'n girls, stop interrupting!" She's busy running back and forth from the tank. The clumsy back-and-forthing due to hooves on the controls is actually helping her here.

Rarity just shakes her head at the 'weapon'. It is a good thing Fluttershy isn't seeing that weapon. She would probably faint, even if it isn't real. "Equestria actually gets it's fair share of visitors over all. People seem to enjoy it's more.. Oh... rustic setting, for lack of a more elaborate term."

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
"Maybe people are too used to having fingers," Toph responds to Applebloom's comment. "Once you get used to doing something one way it's difficult to imagine it being done differently." Heck, people seem to wonder how she can navigate so well without sight, maybe it's similar?

Board games really are more fun when you can't see, and Toph nods. "I have played pai cho before, it's a game from my world. Kinda like chess, you move pieces around," Toph asides to Cirra. "Ever tried karaoke? Gone swimming in a pool? Got it all ready here for those who like those things." So make yourself at home. Mairead too seem to be more of the old school type who doesn't know much about sleep overs. "Sleep overs are supposed to be fun, though I obviously don't want the really girly ones," Toph snorts, remembering Tony telling Rarity to give the earthbender a makeover. That's /not/ happening. "So I focused on more advanced fun for this party." Here she gestures to the karaoke set, the video game the others are playing, and all the snacks. "Ghost stories and pjs are kinda mandatory for these things. So you all better have the scary ones ready!"

Sanary Rondel has posed:
So many options of what to do, but Sanary's not sure what to actually go for first! She seems to be amusing herself easily enough just watching the video game with her plate of food, although a thoughtful hum escapes her after several moments. "Swimming could be pretty fun... Uh. Isn't karaoke that singing thing with booze? But..."

She peers at Toph inquisitively, then at the definitely-not-teenagers attending the party. "... Don't know if that'll work. Scary stories, though?" She chuckles darkl for a moment before going quiet without another sound beyond the occasional chew. She's not about to put herself on the spot without an actual story to tell!

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden smiles and nods to each of the names, and reaches one hand to pet each of the ponies, well, except poor Sweetie Belle, he does not want to distract her from the game!. "She is really good at it, I never played videogames." he muses softly, focusing on the two fillies nearby. "So you met digimon before? were they nice?" he asks softly, before smiling, "Sorry, it's my first time meeting... ponies?" he ventures, "You are all really nice."

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
"The pool's out on the patio if you wanna swim, Sanary. Though no booze at this party, even if Cap wasn't here. Pepper would never let me have a party again!" Toph points out, paying attention to Steve's reaction if he has any at the mention of a booze at a party he's chaperoning. Yup, he wouldn't like that at all.

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
Cirra muses, "I've been swiming plenty of times, but I've never done karaoke before." she looks over at the stage. "So... you just sing?" she asks. "Anything?"

Staren has posed:
Kaboom! Staren plants the explosives, and this cues a cinematic with the finest explosions 2005 home videogame technology can render in real-time. Dr. Karasu, a man with no hair atop his head and black hair resembling crow's feathers on the side of his head and a very large and beaklike nose with tiny glasses perched atop it, curses (as in, he actually says 'Curses!'), vows to find out who these inteloping tin cans are 'Why, the only one smart enough to oppose me is... you're Dr. Bright's creations, aren't you!" Kick and Conker shout shonen protagonists cliches and childish insults at the holographic projection. 'No matter! You can't stop me, I control all of time!' The projector bot self-destructs, and Dr. Bright calls them with the 'next' location. It's up to the protagonists to go to... victorian england! The robots there are very dapperly-dressed, including tophats, monacles, and on some of them, elaborate gowns.

    It's that kind of game.

Mairead Sandilands has posed:
Looking at the stage, Mairead blinks, "I think ye read words of a song and sing the words to the music. I know a few of the other girls at the IS Academy do that when we are allowed to leave the academy on trips to Tokyo or Academy Town," she comments to Cirra. "I am not that good at singing." she mentions.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
"Whatever you want, really. Goldie usually has karaoke contests at his parties, last year it was all Disney themed," the blind girl explains. "The karaoke machine has a pretty impressive selection with lots of popular music, and it shows you the lyrics on the screen if you don't know them. Would probably be fun with some karaoke before we move on to the ghost stories..." And after that and the Cutie Mark Crusaders have gone to bed they can watch horror movies!

Rarity (136) has posed:
"Fortunately the... obnoxious ones are few and far between." Rarity is not so prim and proper that she is above helping herself to a slice of the meat-free pizza. It is appropriate party food.... though we will skip dipping it in the fondue. Pizza is already a nearly perfect food. She does chuckle softly at Toph mentions Tony's last birthday party. "That was quite a musical evening, was it not. 'Magic Kingdom' definately lives up to the name."

Though she still could of done without Dash and the CMC dragging her off to the amusement rides afterwards. That was harrowing! And that log ride got her mane positiviely dren<span style="color:hed!

cpink">"Hey Rarity! Come look, this looks like your kind of stage.</span> Followed by a squeak as Sweetie Belle leans to the side as she avoids a robot attacking. Not that her moving does anything like Staren does moving, it's just getting too wrapped up in the game.

Rarity peers over at the game, just in time to see robots in monocols chucking bowler caps at the player-bots. "... What an atrocious treatment for fine hattery!" Sweetie Belle squeaks in surprise as Rarity of all ponies pushes her aside and grabs the controller with her magic and just starts telekinetically hammering the fire button over and over. "YOUR CRIMES AGAINST ACCESORIZATION END HERE YOU RUFFIANS!"

Mairead Sandilands has posed:
Thinking, Mairead smiles, "Only good story I like is MacBeth," she says. "Especially the part when the Queen goes doolally," she comments as she rememebers her mom reading it as a bedtime story. Mairead did not get the nice bedtime stories, but the ones that left marks in people. "It's a good bedtime story," she adds as she eats some fondue as she looks at Rarity "......" and blinks as she looks at the others.

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
Cirra's attention is grabbed by Rarity taking the controls of the video game as she objects to the evildoer's choice of accessories.

"Well." she slowly eats a chip. "This is more entertaing."

Staren has posed:
Staren just stops and stares as Rarity goes on a roaring rampage of fashion revenge. He barely has to do anything for the rest of the stage! Except keep grabbing health and armor packs with the gravity gun (this game was made when physics stuff was all the rage) and throwing them to her. Even a giant robot with fashionable weapons is no match for an angry unicorn. Rarity easily keeps its attention while Staren climbs atop it exposing weak points for her to shoot at.

"You won't stop me, Kick and Conquer!" The Dr. Karasu hologram warns them. "With the power of time, I can take over the whole 20th century!"

The next stage opens with a cinematic of robots dressed like gangsters running out of a bank with tommyguns and sacks of money. Kick and Conquer warp in just in time to see them making a run for it, and commandeer a local car. Time for a running chase scene, making the car dodge obstacles while shooting down incoming attack drones while waiting for opportunities to shoot at the robots driving whenever they lean out a window to attack directly!

At one point, the chase plows right through a fresh produce stand. "My cabbages!"

Rarity (136) has posed:
"And that dress makes your posterior look fatter than a cargo jet!" Rarity quips in when the boss goes down. Nevermind it's a giant robot and hardly skinny in the first place.

Then the car chase stage. "I've got this one girls!" Scootaloo jumps right into Rarity's lap to take the controller from her magic, and prop it in her hooves much like Sweetie Belle had. But this is her thing, even if it isn't a scooter.

With Scootaloo driving Staren can take it easy this round and focus on the shooting part.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
The slumber party is well underway in Malibu as the evening is steadily approaching. And what house could possibly be better for a teenage girl to host her first slumber party ever? It's certainly large enough, and with Toph having called most of the take out places in the area people are not about to starve. Especially not with Rarity having searched the kitchen for some more fancy cuisine, and finding a fondue set that is now offering a hot treat to many of the party guests as an option to the pizza, burgers, Chinese food and other ethnic menu items.

Entertainment is another important part of celebrations, and if Tony Stark's expensive gaming system isn't enough, there is always the karaoke set that stands on the ready to deliver a real punch.

If you're allergic to electronic entertainment, maybe the pool on the patio is bound to be fun where it overlooks the beach below and the setting California sun.

One way or another the guests are sure to be tired, and Steve Rogers, the party's appointed chaperone by Pepper Potts-Stark herself, has already made sure to assign rooms to the various guests based on their gender to make sure that everybody gets some sleep at least.

All in all, the birthday girl Toph Beifong is extremely pleased with the party so far as people seem to be having fun.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden had been talking with the crusaders, very, very intrigued about the ponies, and at the moment he was on a couch with them, he was tempted to reach and pet them!, pet wings even, but was a bit unsure how appropiate that might be!. He was also rather intrigued about videogames, the 'catling gun', and watching just how sweetie belle was beating the boss!.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Pizza and burgers probably shouldn't go with fondue, but Sanary's not the sort to let things like social norms and cholesterol stop her from doing it. How much food has she slathered in cheese and devoured already, anyway? All of it, apparently. Enough that she's... Actually looking rather content while slouching on one of the couches in the living room, watching the guests handling the strange shooting game with a drowsy curiousity while not looking very lady-like at all.

Rarity (136) has posed:
Right now the entertainment system was a big source of attention, as Staren and the Cutie Mark Crusaders were working their way through a crazy cartoony timetravelling robot FPS. Because robots blowing up was more suitable for the younger members of the party goers than a ... messier game. Yes.

By this point the trio had gotten to taking turns with the controls. Mostly because Sweetie Belle needed to make a pit stop for her own snacks. Which left Scootaloo working the directions while Applebloom was hitting the fire and dodge buttons.

Rarity just... gives Sanary the oddest look when she's dipping -everything- in the cheese fondue, then just rolls her eyes. Then leans against the side of the couch, and asides to Alden. "Just be glad they're too distracted to dogpile you like they did Toph."

Neuroi Girl has posed:
Despite the party being well underway, the doorbell (or perhaps Jarvis) alert the people inside that there is a new guest at the door. When the door is opened...there is Evangeline. And...she's actually wearing real clothes, not just her shaped shell. She has on a set of plush jammies that are sky blue with little pink clouds on them. The legs have been altered so that below about mid-thigh they form a sort of lattice pattern, allowing them to fit over the engine-like lower legs. She is also hugging a pillow as big as she is and just as plush as her PJs, the top bent forward just enough for her to peek over the top. It by contrast is red with a black cat-head silhouette on it. And of course, she brought a sleeping bag. Also blue, with prancing (non-equestrian) ponies patterned over its entire surface.

It may be true that she doesn't sleep, and doesn't need clothing, but Yoshika insisted that she attend the slumber party in proper style. "...Hello everyone..." she says as she floats through the door. "...I apologize for my tardiness...I had to participate in military exercises..."

Steve Rogers has posed:
As the party continues, Steve has staked out a spot where he can keep an eye on the pool (just in case anyone needs rescuing) as well as the living room; he's doing some sketchwork to help while away the time, capturing some of the antics that transpire around him. He may well building up enough of a selection so that people can take souvenirs home with them in the morning.

If he sees or hears any indication of misbehavior - whether with his own eyes and ears, or by JARVIS tipping him off - he can drop his sketchbook and pencil easily enough and hurry over to intervene; if it's somebody in the pool who needs help, he's not wearing anything that can't stand to get wet in the name of lifeguard duty.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden is tempted to ask so many things, about wings, horns... magic?, but feels he should likely ask questions outside the party. So he instead looks at the crusaders struggle with the controls, and then back at the other player. "You are all really good at this." he says. He flicks his tail a bit, and inches out of the couch to look at the other people present, spotting thenew arival and waving a hand at them. He gets curious about the pool and slowly inches towards it.

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
Cirra Constantine is also on the couch, but she sits up straight, legs together and eats pizza very very carefully. The video game was only interesting while Rarity was enacting vigilante justice against Fashion Criminals. "Usually Prince Landon's sisters just want to fuse over makeup and clothing."

Sarah Rogers (796) has posed:
Sarah quietly lands outside and finds her way toward the commotion inside, Although she's dressed casually, she's got an abnormally large and round military-green backpack on. It could only contain the Star Shield. She's just not comfortable leaving something like that lying around, and yet she leaves the pack by the door with the umbrellas and coats and such.

She takes a moment to take the scene in. Games, partying, ponies playing video games. Yup, this is about what she expected. She moves toward a couch and is about to strike up a conversation with the first person she spots, then catches sight of her alternate universe Dad. She cringes a moment, then takes a seat on the couch, pretending like it's all normal. She's been here all along, yup!

Steve Rogers has posed:
Steve glances up, giving his 'daughter' a casual wave from his seat, then looks around again - just his usual 'make sure everything's as it should be' survey of the party.

Hey, if Sarah wants to pretend she was here from the start, who is he to poke holes in her story? Clearly whatever villains kept her from being here earlier aren't going to show up to make excuses for her.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
While her other guests are already well started on eating and having fun, Toph takes care to greet her new guests who are fashionably late, and it doesn't look like she minds them not arriving sooner. What matters is that they showed up!

"Hey, Eva!" Toph grins, kinda missing the adorable detail with Evangeline's pjs. "At least you're done with the exercises now and ready to have fun, right? Your first slumber party too?" It would be kinda weird if the little neuroi had been to any. "There's lots of sugary stuff for you to eat and enjoy." Just like how the earthbender made sure there was vegeterian options for the ponies and other people who don't eat meat, she also made sure to prepare something Eva would be able to enjoy.

Another friend she hasn't been able to spend time with lately arrives as well, and Toph grins even more. "Babycap! Nice of you to join us!" So much for blending in without Steve noticing, huh? Then again, as attentive as the first Avenger is, it would probably be hard for him to miss anything going on here, especially with Jarvis' help. "Did you bring a swim suit? Because the pool is totally there to be used after we've had time to digest our dinners." Not that Toph is planning on swimming, but most people like pools and water, supposedly. Alden is already heading over there too, and the pool is in full view from the living room windows, so luckily Steve will have an easy time keeping an eye on the kids while they stick to the general living room area. And perhaps it will be easier for him too considering the birthday girl herself is ready to suggest activities and keep them entertained.

Staren has posed:
When we last left our heroes, Kick and Conka, the robotic assistants of Dr. Bright, were traveling through time to stop the robot hordes of the nefarious Dr. Karasu! After traveling to the Pirate and Victorian eras, now they're in a chase scene, persuing robot bank robbers dressed as gangsters with tommyguns. The robot twins are a bit super-deformed in their design, but maybe it's because they're supposed to be kids? Conka, a blonde with blue armor resembling a dress, is at the wheel (controlled by the CMC) while Kick, in red armor, is climbing around on the car shooting at flying debris and the robots whenever they stick their upper bodies out of their getaway van to fire.

Just as they're finally about to catch up... There's the sound of sirens and shouts to pull over, and police cars pull up alongside them. Being do-gooder heroes, Kick and Conka pull over...

And the police stop, not chasing after the van. Kick yells at them, 'What are you doing! The bad guys are escaping!"

And then robots in keystone kop uniforms climb out of the cars. Boss fight?!

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Oh right. Swimming. Sanary's starting to regret her choices today, but at least she's prepared! She's just hoping it'll come up later rather than sooner, since with all that cheese...

"Oh! Uh. Rarity, right? Good work with the fondue thing!" She calls out, not sure which pony it is she's actually supposed to be looking at. The name is familiar, at least, but it'll take her a little longer to connect their names with their faces.

Alas, the cleric can't just laze around on that couch the whole time, and she forces herself up to start pacing around the room. She's making sure to avoid walking between the people playing the game and the TV, instead circling around the edges of the living room to see what else there is. Karaoke? She's.. Not actually sure what that is. Swimming? Later. More food? Nooo. Bad idea. Very bad idea.

Rarity (136) has posed:
"Danggabbit! we've been sidetracked by a buncha sidewinders!" Though Applebloom's accent just makes her sound cute more than mad.

The little cutscreen ends with the two heroic robots getting behind their car as the robot bobbie cops (robobbies?) close in. As soon as they have control back Scootaloo hooves the controls to move the gunsights towards the closest robots. "Let 'em have it AB!"

Boom go robots! And then more robots start filing out of the cars like a bad circus clowncar gag. The heroes can take cover behind their car, but it flashes and gets more dents every time it's shot. Looks like the mission is to destroy all the waves of enemies before the car is blown up!

Neuroi Girl has posed:
Evangeline nods lightly as she is greeted and asked that question. "...yes...I have never been to a sleepover...the Strike Witches do not have sleepovers...and you are one of my few non-witch friends..." she says as she floats about carefully, still carrying her sleeping bag and pillow. Having never been to a party such as this before, she has no idea what to do. So...she ends up floating over out of the way, almost against a wall, just watching the others. Wallflower powers, activate!

Sarah Rogers (796) has posed:
Sarah lets out a sigh and returns Steve's wave with a slightly embarrased look, the jig is up! "Hi Pop... Cap... Uh, Mr. Rogers, Sir." Fortunately she can quickly turn her attention to Toph, whom she greets with a huge smile.

"Hey Pebbles! Sorry I'm late. I didn't miss anything did I?" She nods to her question, "It's in the bag with the frisbee." She grins. "Do I smell pizza? You may have to excuse me for a sec..."

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden looks at teh pool for several moments, and despite all warnings about eating and swimming, he figures he might as well try, he does not have many chances to be in pools!. He seems a bit nervous as he slowly takes away his fur pelt... it does not cover much really, but reveals he is basically a yellow lizard creature!. He then quickly dips in the shallower end of the water, looking around from the edge at the otehrs, "The pool is nice."

Eve (857) has posed:
Paying attention to the videogaming with only about half her mind, Eve has plenty to spare for the rest of things. Games are kind of trivial after all. People, always changing, are far more interesting. Not that everyone here fits a traditional model of 'person', but that just makes them all the more interesting.

Eve STARES at Evangeline. Yes, actually stares at her. It's not sure whether she's fascinated by the black metallic construct, the floating, or the cute PJs. She blinks, and eventually turns away. "Baby... cap." she says tentatively, watching Sarah now. Who doesn't look like a baby. Then again, Toph made up the name, and Eve knows Toph's bad at nicknames. "Pebbles." she repeats, the slightest hint of satisfaction if not amusement in her voice.

Staren has posed:
Staren waves and offers a quick smile to Evangeline, but he /is/ kind of distracted at the moment.

Staren rolls his eyes when the fake cops start clown-caring -- he opens his mouth to say something, then just closes it. He tries not to play too agressively and steal the CMC's glory.

Eventually, the waves of enemies stop. "Darn it, we lost 'em!" Kick shouts. Dr. Bright contacts them with the next location. The 1950's.

When they arrive, things seem normal enough... and then the camera pans over billboards for Karasu corp. He's taken over everything. Commenting on the creepyness of it, Kick and Conquer walk by a TV store. The TV is a documentary explaining how 30 years ago, Dr. Karasu, millionaire, appeared on the scene and, through investments and gambling, rose to become the owner of everything.

"...We need to go back to the lab." Conka suggests. "Dr. Bright will know what to do."

They arrive in an abandoned building. "Dr. Bright? Doctor!" The two call out, but noone is there. They head outside... It's the 24th century, and it's definately the future... but Dr. Karasu's face and logo and robots are everywhere. The kids ask around about Dr. Bright, and attract the attention of... human police. They have orders to take in anyone asking about a 'Dr. Bright'.

They're taken to jail. Dr. Karasu gloats, calls them fools. He runs the world now! Don't they see? Since they didn't stop him in the past, he's had 400 years to take over...

Kick and Conka sulk for a bit. What will they do now? They have to go back to the past again! ...But when they try, nothing happens. Dr. Karasu's voice comes over the intercom: "And don't even think of using time travel! My anti-chronoton field generator covers the whole building! You're trapped here, Kick and Conka! I've won! Ahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaa!"

Is this really it for our heroes? Staren takes this opportunity to finish the food on his plate while the game is doing the several-minutes-of-cinematic thing.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
It's a good thing for Evangeline that Toph takes charge, and she reaches out to take Eva's things for her so she doesn't have to hold on to the pillow. "I'll place your stuff in my bedroom for later, just go to the kitchen and find yourself some food, join the games, sing karaoke if you wanna, just relax and have fun, okay?" It only takes a few seconds for Toph to walk over to the hallway leading off to the west wing, then /toss/ Eva's stuff into a nearby door before she returns. "If you wanna sing karaoke, then feel free, Sanary!" It's not like it's dangerous. Sarah earns a shake of Toph's head. "We just started not long ago, people are eating and playing on Goldie's video games, and we're gonna have horror stories later after the Cutie Mark Crusaders," she says and points out the three little fillies as they play the adorable game that Tony for some reason has in his video game library.

It takes a lot for Toph to miss sounds, and she speaks up after hearing Eve comment on nicknames. "EGG SLAYER, why don't you go help slay the karaoke with a horrible pop song or something? We need some music in this party!"

Sanary Rondel has posed:
There's plenty of unfamiliar faces at the party now, although Evangeline... Didn't Sanary meet her at the WMAT? She offers the girl a wave from across the room before turning at the suggestion from Toph. "... Eh? Singing? Is that what that is?" She looks from the Earthbender to the karaoke setup, a pensive frown crossing the cleric's face. Has she even sung before?

Nope. But at least she can get someone else to show her the ropes! She looks to Eve with a forced grin, although it's probably rather obvious that she's really just looking for someone else to help her figure out what's even going on. "Hey, yeah! Let's.. Karaoke the.. Thing."

Rarity (136) has posed:
Sweetie Belle wedges herself in between the other two Crusaders. "What did I miss? Pizza?" Aw, she brought several slices for her friends too. All three of them munch away while the cinematics are playing. It's like a mini movie!

Rarity on the other hand has gotten bored at this point with the gaming nonsense, and takes a look around. Almost immeadiately she zones in on Evangeline. Or more so, Evangeline's PJs. The unicorn trots over and leans down a bit to investigate the pant-legs. "That is certainly an interesting alteration made due to your.. unusual leg accesories."

Steve Rogers has posed:
Steve quirks an eyebrow at the dialogue from the video game, not sure if that's a 'game over' (with a really obvious sequel hook) or if it's just an interlude before the action shifts to some kind of trans-temporal platforming action as the duo make their way back in time to stop Dr. Karasu's nefarious plans.

(It doesn't even occur to him to wonder how Karasu would have survived four hundred years, but then, given Cap's own track record ...)

He finishes his sketch of Staren and the CMC playing their game (perspective from off to one side of the TV), closes his sketchbook, and gets up from his seat to stretch his legs, actually walk around and make sure everything is still in order, and to reload his own plate. What's the point of being a chaperone if you can't enjoy some of the party yourself?

Neuroi Girl has posed:
Evangeline is slow to relinquish her things, but does so without a fight. Then, she floats there until Toph finishes making those suggestions. She looks around, noticing Eve. She hesitates a moment, then raises one of her already sleeve-like arms, now covered in fleece PJ sleeve, to offer a little wave. "...do you...wish to sing karaoke..?" she says to Eve, since Toph suggested singing to both of them.

Evangeline floats over to Eve, then holds out a hand. Or...arm. At least, for a moment there is only a flat end to the sleeve inside the sleeve. But then, slender fingers extend from that sleeve-end until it looks like she is wearing an outfit a bit too large for her so it covers where the back of her hand should be.

She notices Sanary waving, so raises her other arm to wave to Sanary.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden seems to be swimming!, or at least awkwardly moving along the water!, he tries dog paddling first, but eventually settles with floating around lazily, tail flicking around, and nudging him forward.

Ziggy Grover has posed:
Having watched the game playing for a while, Ziggy's attention span hits its limit, and he wanders over to slowly browse through the shelves of games. Let's see, just what -would- a Billionaire have out there to play?

The expected usual army strategy game, that was to be expected. Shooting games... still, some of these games were -interesting-. Of course, after a bit of browsing, there seemed to be a general pattern: either thinking type games, or games that just had a cover with sexy women. Just how many of them were there...?

Annie Sandberg (437) has posed:
Annie has been hanging around the karaoke section, but gets out of the way when others (such as, in this case, Evangeline) want their turn.

Staren has posed:
Steve and Staren both know where this is going!

Dr. Bright wanders by the cell in a jumpsuit, with a mop. Kick and Conka talk to him -- he doesn't know them. Noone would hire him as anything else, so he's a janitor here. The robot kids tell their story. Filled with hope for a better future, he steals the keys to open their cell. They just have to make it outside so they can use their time devices! It's time for the surprise stealth section!

Eve (857) has posed:
Eve glowers at Toph's suggestion. "You already challenged me to a scary story contest. You don't get to challenge me to karaoke too." she says primly. Actually she's scared to death at the thought of singing in front of so many people when she's never practiced such a thing before. She doesn't even like to show off her transformation ability with anything she's not absolutely SURE she can do well. Something like singing... petrifying.

Not so much, Evangeline and the others. The floating black ... being holds out a hand to her. Well, an arm. After a moment Eve seems to realize what's going on. Gravely she extends her own hand, to shake Evangeline's ... well, it must be a hand right? "You can sing if you like." she says after some consideration. That goes for Sanary too, if she likes. "I'm waiting for when Toph thinks it's right to tell scary stories." she deadpans.

Neuroi Girl has posed:
Evangeline tilts her head slightly as Eve declines. She releases Eve's hand, then floats over to the karaoke machine before looking between Sanary and Annie. "...are we all able to sing at once..?" she asks as she picks up the microphone. "..and...what should we sing..?" She knows about...1 song. And it has no words. So, any song they pick will be new to Eva. "...do you know any songs..?" she asks Annie.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
"Then go swimming or something, Egg Slayer," Toph says, then walks over to Annie who seems to have been quiet up to now. "Nice of you to join us, Wolfie girl!" Toph greets her, reaching out to punch her slightly in the shoulder. No, Annie isn't getting rid of that nickname either. "Ever tried karaoke before?" she asks, then speaks up. "Jarvis, turn the karaoke system on, will you?" "Very well, Miss Beifong." The screen comes to life, and for seeing people it should be easy to look through the large selection of songs from the last four decades. The question Eva poses is an important one, and Toph nods her head. "Of course you can. What matters is that we're having fun, and this isn't a contest. It will be for Goldie's birthday in May, so you might as well get some practice in." Here she points to the screen. "The text will be shown here so you can read it, just sing along with the melody, it's really simple."

Alden is swimming by himself it sounds like, and Toph turns towards the patio doors. "You okay out there?" she calls out. Not that swimming is her thing, but it would be kinda boring for him to be alone, wouldn't it...?

Rarity (136) has posed:
Oh, Annie is here too? Rarity didn't even notice her, for shame! "Hello Annie. How are you?" Then she looks from Annie to the karoke machine and back again. "Where you going to sing?" Though it looks like Eva is going to go first?

Right, this stage might take some time and a few tries to get through. The sort of finess a stealth stage is intended for doesn't really come with small pony hooves.

Though about halfway through the attempts Sweetie Belle pauses in her pizza munching. "You know girls... If they go back and stop all this from happening, doesn't that mean the reason they originally went back also doesn't happen. So they will never go back the first time, and the bad guy is just going to go back and do it again, and then they'll have to go back and undo it, but then undoing it means none of it happened and then it'll just be done over and over and over..."

By that point Applebloom is just staring blankly at her, while Scootaloo groans and flops over backwards, putting hooves to her forehead. "Sweetie, stop, you're make my head feel like -school-..."]

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden was doing well, he was half wanting to swim in one of his bigger forms, but no point freaking out everyone!. As he gets called from inside he moves to poke his head from the edge of the pool, "I'm ok!" he says happily. Toph can tell there is something different about him, look wise, but otherwise, seems calm. "Don't worry, the pool is nice!"

Sarah Rogers (796) has posed:
Sarah's managed to get a slice of pizza and a paper plate with slices of pineapple doused in chocolate from the fountain. making her way toward the video game console, and more specifically toward Ziggy, she manages to snarf about half of it down by the time she reaches him,

"Hey Ziggy!" She smiles. "I don't know if you remember me or not but you were like *the* first person I met after I unified. ...Well, the first person who wasn't a bureaucrat anyway. That still counts." She says with a nod.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
"I don't see why not." Sanary replies to Evangeline, sounding a little relieved at the notion of not having to sing on her own. She can't even recall the last time she's ever sang, so... hell, what if it sounds horrible? She's already starting to sweat a bit as that thought comes to the forefront of her mind, but her pride won't let her back down now! "I'll.. Uh. Sing just about whatever if someone else has anything they like."

Maybe nobody will pick. She can pray for that! She does seem a little disappointed that Eve's not joining in, however, but following Evangeline's gaze to Annie does give her a little more of a boost. Another shield! "Hey there. Want to join us in this karaoke thing? The more the merrier, right?"

Ziggy Grover has posed:
Poking his way through the shelves, Ziggy has to admit that money -could- buy happiness, if not necessarily love. Ooo, shooters. Lots of shooters.

Pausing in mid-reach, Ziggy looks over towards Sarah. "Oh hey... yeah, I remember! Though I didn't know at the time that you were the daughter of the living legend. Man, who knew...? I'm pretty impressed. Even if that's not the same Living Legend, or something. It isn't, is it? Does it still count, or is it like he's your uncle instead of your dad?"

Rarity (136) has posed:
And at Ziggy's comment Scootaloo just "AAAAAUGH" even louder. Stop confusing the poor pegasus with these paradoxes!

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
"I know the pool is nice, I live here, remember?" Toph says with a smirk to Alden, unable to 'see' him properly when he's in the water. "I have swimming lessons on a regular basis, though I'm getting a break now that Goldie is on his honeymoon." Which is perfectly fine by her, it leaves her more time for bending and other fun activities.

Though she rolls her eyes at Ziggy's comment. "You're overthinking it, Zig!" she calls out. "He's not her dad, though I think he's the honorary uncle of everybody in the Union or something."

Annie Sandberg (437) has posed:
Annie's about to leave the stage as the others step up, but Sanary offers to let her sing with them. "Okay!" she says happily, turning back toward the machine. "What are we going to sing? There's a lot of us..."

Neuroi Girl has posed:
What song...what song... "...how about this one..?" Evangeline says, and without really waiting for confirmation she selects it. What is it? Why it is Pharrel's 'Happy'! The song starts pretty fast, so there isn't much warning and the words start appearing and coloring themselves in time with the music.

"...I do not know this song..." Evangeline says as the music plays without her singing.

Sarah Rogers (796) has posed:
Sarah snickers at Ziggy's attempt to make sense of her relationship to Cap. "Yah... He's like the twin brother of my father that I never knew I had... So, Uncle's about right. I think?" She can't help but stare at Scootaloo for a moment, "I think you broke that tiny pegasus." She murmurs accusingly as she gives him a playful elbow in the ribs. She then stuffs the rest of her pizza in her mouth, while offering chocolate-covered pineapple to both Ziggy and Scootaloo.

Rarity (136) has posed:
And the bit of chocolate coated pineapple is gone faster than one might see said pegasus even move before she's sitting back on the couch chewing it. Safe to say all is forgiven after that offering.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
"Happy? Sounds like a good fit for this party..." Sanary chuckles lightly in approval of Evangeline's choice, although her expression quickly turns confused when she's caught off guard by SUDDENLY MUSIC. She clears her throat as she prepares to do some sort of singing, but doesn't actually utter a sound even as those words start coloring themselves in.

"If it makes you feel better, I... Don't know any? Uh. Is this thing broken?" She's more than capable of reading the words, but she hasn't quite put it together that she's actually supposed to be singing them yet! Evangeline and Annie both get questioning looks, though, in the hopes that one of them know what to do at this point."

Eve (857) has posed:
Eve gets up and wanders off quietly, only to soon return with a plateful of dessert-type stuff. Like chocolate-coated pineapple, chocolate-coated birthday cake, and pizza. Without chocolate... don't be silly.

She pauses on coming in, breaking her silence. "I don't have an uncle." she notes quietly, solemnly. "Not that I know of." she adds. She peers at Captain America in his out-of-uniform state. No reason. Never mind her as she stops talking and has some pizza without chocolate.

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
After finishing her pizza and other assorted dinner, Cirra takes her dish to the kitchen and returns to the living room. She pauses infront of the karaoke setup and furrows her brow.%r%r%tMoving over to investigate, she looks at the screen where songs are selected. Of course there are no Galandian songs that she recognizes - not that she's a fan of the music you find on the radio back home. Cirra presses the name of a band she's never heard of, but the name sounds alright. "Hmnn...huh."

The music starts with a soft piano that slowly works up from barely audible as Cirra picks up the microphone.

"When the days are cold..." she starts by reading the screen, a bit mechanically,
"And the cards all fold" But once she understands the rhythm it comes much more naturally.
"And the saints we see" and despite not being a practiced singer,
"Are all made of gold" she does have a good, clear voice.

"When your dreams all fail" If a little on the quiet side,
"And the ones we hail" She still sings.
"Are the worst of all" Perhaps she felt challenged to prove,
"And the bloods run stale" she could do anything she put her mind to.

A guitar add to the accompaniment, sticking to the same quiet steady tones for the moment.

"I wanna hide the truth"
"I wanna shelter you"
"But with the beast inside"
"Theres nowhere we can hide"

Drums start beaating as the song momentary picks up it's pace.

"No matter what we breed"
"We still are made of greed"
"This is my kingdom come"
"This is my kingdom come"

Cirra almost drops the ball as the song picks up in both speed and volume, but she manages to recover as main verse beings.

"When you feel my heat"
"Look into my eyes"
"Its where my demons hide"
"Its where my demons hide"
"Dont get too close"
"Its dark inside"
"Its where my demons hide"
"Its where my demons hide"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWRsgZuwf_8

The of the song is performed without issue as it winds down from that crescendo and Cirra hangs up the microphone, and looks at Toph.

"How was that?"

Tony Stark (301) has posed:
As the night proceeds, the party guests and hosts alike have remained blissfully ignorant of the dark presence lurking in the Malibu mansion. But it has lain hidden, watching... waiting. It has taken advantage of the confusion to snatch bits of cheese-laden food as they've dropped unnoticed to the floor; and it has bided its time, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

As music suddenly blares through the living room, distracting everyone's attention for that one, fleeting moment, it makes its move. A black streak blurs from beneath the couch, dodges neatly around someone's hoofs, and darts daringly between Captain America's legs where he stands sentinel keeping an eye on both indoors and out. It is that intangible barrier between inside and outside that it seeks, leaping with silent grace into the evening air.

Buster the cat flees, with a triumphant, "Mraaaah!" into the darkness at the edges of the mansion's welcoming lights.

Annie Sandberg (437) has posed:
Annie knows what to do, but wasn't quite ready. Since it looks like the others weren't ready either, Annie decides to stop and explain- then, Cirra does her job for her. "See, that's what you have to do. You sing along! But we should decide on one that we know first."

Rarity (136) has posed:
As an experienced cat owner herself Rarity doesn't even flinch with Buster zigzags through her hooves to escape with it's pilfered munchies. If anything she just huffs softly, and goes back to refilling her own snacks. She just lets Opal roam free, she has no idea Buster is making for getting into trouble by going outside!

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
I have some aunts and uncles, though I haven't seen them in ages," Toph asides to Eve as she stands near the patio door and inspects the living room through her feet. Yup, literally happy music, people eating food and snacks. This is the way it's supposed to be. And just to make sure she too gets her stomach filled up she stops by the kitchen to fill up her plate again, this time with some of the food that Sanary brought with her. When she turns it appears that Cirra has decided to tone it down to a more melodic song. The blind girl nods in appreciation, listening to the song as Cirra sings along with the music. Once Cirra is done she offers a thumbs up and a grin. "That was good, haven't heard that song before!" Rock music is more her style, but she can appreciate good music like this. "Add that song to my playlist, Jarvis," she instructs the majordomo.

Perhaps Buster can hide from the guests, but for Toph there's no way the feline can hide from her perceptiveness. But when she notices that Buster is heading for the outdoors, her eyes widen in shock. "Oh CRUD!" she yells, quickly tossing her plate aside as she turns and /races/ towards the patio door. "BUSTER, get your furry butt back here! Guys, come on, we gotta catch him!"

The fun activities will have to wait, now there's an escaped kitty to haul back inside. And Toph leads the chase as she /leaps/ over the side of the patio, the earth rising underneath to meet her.

Staren has posed:
Staren is trying to figure out how to get the CMC through the stealth section. He's working out the optimum times for them to move Conka.

At Sweetie's observation, Staren opens his mouth again. He was trying to turn his brain off for this story.

Once they're outside, it's back to the 1920's! They're in an alley across from the bank, watching as... Kick and Conka warp in and go off on their chase. "But how will we stop them this time?"

And then Kick and Conka warp in again, in a car. Conka-1 says, "Whaaaat? What is even going on?" Kick-1 says, "You... You're..." Kick-2 says, "You from the future, yes! So here's the deal..." Conka-2 continues, "Karasu's bots robbed two banks and each group split into two getaway vehicles." Kick-2: "We need to stop /all four/ to stop him from getting the money to take over the future." Conka-1: "But... if there's four, how are we going to..."

Another pair warp in. Kick-3: "Right on time!" He looks around. "Well, what are you waiting for! Let's move! Kick..." The whole group finishes, "And Conquer!"

Kick-2 gives Kick and Conka-1 a map. "This is the way to the other bank. Go!" And then Kick and Conka-2 get back in their car and drive off the way they went the first time. Kick and Conka-1 commandeer a car, and -1 and -3 drive off in the other direction.

As they drive alongside eachother, Conka-1 looks over at herself. "Oh hey, I look pretty cool with my hair blowing in the wind like that!" Conka-3 turns and says, "I know, right?" smiling. Kicks -1 and -3 roll their eyes. "Pff."

They pass another bank just as two vans are driving away from it. They split, and we follow Kick and Conka-1...

This is now three more mini-stages, increasingly difficult chase sections. First following team -1, then -3, then -2. Each introduces new obstacles, types of debris, and wrinkles...

Team -2 follows a second van that some robots move to from the first. They keep weaving around, seeing their originals from two stages ago pass by just ahead, before finally taking to the rooftops in a completely absurd and ridiculous chase. Then they hear a shout of 'My cabbages' and the original team can be seen on the roads below. Some of the thrown debris that appears too easy to dodge actully heads for the /original/ team... and whever it hits them, the screen 'cracks'. Mess up too many times and the screen 'shatters' to reveal the words TIME PARADOX and they restart from last checkpoint!

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden was getting out of the pool, when somethign dark, evil and fluffy runs amok!. He detects the intrusion, and begins to sneak closer, trying to get a better look at what it might be, moving slowly closer, crawling. He is not trying to hurt or do anything to the cat, he is just amused!. He tries to intercept the cat when it makes a mad dash to the patio door, "I got it!" he chirps, trying to jump at kitty.

Ziggy Grover has posed:
Tasking the chocolate-covered pineapple, Ziggy nods at Sarah, before wincing. "Hey, I know how she feels, my head hurts making sense of the multiverse too," he comments, making hand gestures as if to demonstrate his mind exploding.

Tilting his head to listen to the music, Ziggy whistles. "They've got -karaoke-. C'mon, let's... hey, uh, there's a cat running around." Hesitating, the Power Ranger looks back at Toph. "... I guess we need to go after it."

Let's see, if Toph is over there... and people are over here, then the cat is going to run -there- and Ziggy will just... be too far away to get after it. "I'll just, uh.... let you chase it around," he says, motioning with his hands, as he heads over to the buffet table. Let's see... what would be more tempting to a cat?

Tony Stark (301) has posed:
Buster pauses out on the lawn by the tennis courts, to nose around in the grass and sniff things. He samples a few blades of grass and determines with cat-satisfaction that yes, these will make excellent barfs. When the lights suddenly flood on, triggered by the seismic motion of Toph's pursuit and the leaping Digimon, he freezes, his sleek black tail expanding in a slllooow *poof* of alarm as his ears flatten back and he stares with wide yellow eyes at the jail wardens come to return him to prison. Then he darts off into some taco bushes. Yes, taco bushes. Tony gets a lot of exotic gifts, ok?

Eve (857) has posed:
Eve lets out the briefest, softest sigh as the cat runs away. Cats mean little to her right now, but it becomes obvious to her what Toph's fearing. So... quick review. Cats. They're agile, and they bite and scratch. Eve doesn't really have to do anything about that agility, not that she can. Either she's fast enough or she isn't. The scratching though, that she can do something about.

Concentrating, Eve plates her hands in metal. Clapping those hands together in satisfaction and in a clonk, she stalks the cat. Time to make sure nothing bad happens to it.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Sanary actually looks rather relieved at the demonstration from Cirra and just a little surprised, even clapping a bit by the time it's all over. "Huh... Not bad at all. You ever try doing that for Landon?" She suggests with a playful wink, perhaps not realizing that it'll probably just look like a particularly heavy blink. "Good idea, Annie... Uh. I don't know any songs, though, so how about..."

As Sanary prepares to sift through the song titles, however, there's a disturbance. A cat has gone AWOL! The singing will have to wait (until never, ideally) as she hurries outside with the others, taking to the sky somewhat unsteadily with some magic power in her anklets. But how's she supposed to spot a black cat at night?

Turning on her magitech eye, for one. Technology one, nature zero as she activates the nightvision matrix contained in that eye to try and spot that cat. Just her luck, then, that the lights flood the area just as she does that.

At least being in the air means she can hide up there while pretending like nothing's wrong. She'll just cry on the inside.

Rarity (136) has posed:
Now that it's gotten back to actual chasing and platforming and shooting evil robots instead of that obnoxious stealth stage, the Crusaders are back on top of things. Or at least Sweetie Belle and Applebloom are, having again dividing up the direction controls and the fire/jump buttons. It actually works pretty well. Just goes to show how in sync the trio can be when they're not tripping over each other trying too hard.

Scootaloo, on the other hand, takes more interested in the actual action going on in the party. She licks the chocolate off her lips, and takes off after Toph and Alden chasing the escaping cat. As she darts past the food table she grabs one of the empty snack trays, and once out the door, tosses it into the air.

The hops on it, using her wings to give herself a boost of speed, and the tray actually skips across the pool before hitting the ground beyond and careening after Toph and Alden. "Come back here you crazy cat!" Now this is her idea of a fun party game!

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
Toph's landing is quick and somewhat rough as she crashes into the ground, but the cat ought to be used to her bending after two years. A sigh leaves her when she feels Buster heading off towards the taco bushes however. Man, this isn't going so great, and she can't risk freaking him out too much with earth spikes either. Not to mention a cat is way more agile than a person. "Buster, come on... you can sleep in my room with all the girl guests later," Toph groans and continues the chase. Luckily the dark doesn't make it any harder for her to track the cat. Though she frowns when she hears Ziggy's comment. "No stuffing your mouth until Buster is safely back inside, Goldie would freak if his furry baby got hurt or went missing! Besides, Buster isn't used to being outside!" At least not for long. "Scootaloo, go that way! I'll take the rocky area!" Let's surround the cat!

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden misses!, if barely, landing 'gracefully' on the ground, in a heap of lizard and fur. He mumbles loudly, and seeing the others chasing as well, he quickly gets up and begins to run aroun on the other side, he even cheats a bit!. He uses a card, mumbling something about 'Speed chip', and for a few moments, he begins to move at three times his speed!, it is not flash speeds, but he tries to block the escape path of the scared feline, "Come here kitty!" he tries. The burst of speed ends about 30 seconds after it starts, with him waiting 'ahead' of the cat. "where do I go?" he asks, realizing he should just ask Toph about such things.

Steve Rogers has posed:
That turned out to be a more interesting sweep of the premises than Steve had expected it to be, up to and including Buster staging a daring escape. Fortunately the video game situation was resolved before he could circle around to tap Ziggy on the shoulder about his taste in Tony's taste in games.

Steve does one more quick survey of the living room, then ducks into the kitchen, rummaging around briefly; there's also the whir of the can opener before Steve heads outside as well, jogging out towards the 'search party' before he sets the can down and pulls the cover off.

Surely Tony and Pepper can, even in absentia, spare a can of good tuna towards luring Buster back out of the cold, unforgiving wilderness?

Tony Stark (301) has posed:
All of this excitement serves the primary purpose of making Buster's kitty-brain go into full crazy cat escape mode. He had been slinking beneath the fronds of the taco plants, pausing here and there to lick one of the yet-unripened fruits, but with all of the commotion of everyone coming at him he decides to cut the shit and just flat-out run for it. As the well-meaning cat-catchers close in on him from multiple directions, he dashes low and fast over the close-cropped grass, angling for most open part of the virtual net.

Only to have to pull up extremely short as Alden suddenly ZOOMS past him and lands right in his path! With a "Mrowl!" of alarm, Buster cuts across at right angles and darts under a stone fence post... and down into the Chocobo pen.

In the various lights being used to track him, two baleful glowing eyes suddenly reflect across the darkness, as the head of a very LARGE red war-chocobo snaps up to stare at the intruders.

There is an ominous, "Wark."

Sarah Rogers (796) has posed:
Sarah literally leaps into the air as the black blur dashes through the house. Literally being the fact that it takes a bit more time for her to return the the ground than one would expect in normal gravity. "Guys! You can't just chase a cat!" She glances at Staren for a moment hoping he'll confirm this, "You have to lure it!" Is anyone listening? She dashes over to the tables of food, hoping to find shrimp, salmon, something a cat would find irresistible. Unfortunately these things are usually on the yucky list at teen birthday parties. Still, she does find a few things that are irresistible to *her*

Neuroi Girl has posed:
Evangeline, still holding a microphone, watches the others taking off after the cat. After Cirra's singing, she just says, "...you are a good singer..." then sets down her microphone. She follows Sanary out the door, then follows after Buster. Seems like there are plenty of people on the chase, so she just floats around overhead, using her own night vision abilities to watch what is going on. "...those are very large chickens..." she says as she looks down into the chocobo pen.

Ziggy Grover has posed:
"That's what I'm doing!" Ziggy exclaims, poking through the table, picking out the relatively clean simple foods. Chicken without sauces, shrimp cocktails (without the sauce), those little tuna salad things... what the heck, good enough.

Snatching them up, Ziggy heads over there, looking for the cat, shouting, "HERE, KITTY KITTY KITTY! GOT KITTY TREATS FOR YOU! C'mon over hereeeee!"

Following the general commotion, Ziggy darts in, before grimacing at the fence. "What the heck..." he begins, before swinging himself up and over into the pen.

No, he had no clue what was in there, why do you ask?

So of course, coming face to face with an angry war chocobo, Ziggy tries the peaceful approach, offering what was in hand.

"Uh... want chicken?"

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
Satisified she gave a decent performance, Cirra steps down. She briefly stares at Sanary, but Buster Escapes. Everyone takes after him, frightening him further until he dives into another animal which causes a familiar sound, "Hm?"

Making haste out of the back door, Cirra moves with confidence towards the chocobo pen and pauses, "A red Chocobo." mean tempered to those that they don't like.

"Don't!" Cirra shouts at Ziggy as he leaps the fence, "Oh..."

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Still cringing as she turns off that nightvision matrix, Sanary blinks the pain out of her eye and rubs it a bit before following the trail of action to the chocobo pen. It takes a bit of effort to descend there at a steady pace, tensing up a bit at the sound of the potentially-dangerous bird... Thing.

"Easy, everyone. Easy." She holds her hands out while approaching the war-chocobo, keeping her movements slow and her arms visible. "Eaaaasy. We're not intruders. We're not dangerous. Easy." She's practically humming as she says that, stopping a few feet away to try and give the horsebird an opportunity to determine if she's a threat or not. "Hi. We're just here to get the cat. Nothing to be afraid of..."

Rarity (136) has posed:
Scootaloo eeps and grabs the front of the tray to pull it up, beating her wings hummingbird levels of hard to brake! She skids to a stop at the edge of the pen and looks up. Stares at the <span style="color:hocobo.

corange">"... That is the biggest chicken I have ever seen."</span>

"Takes one to know one!" Applebloom shouts from inside.

"I am not a chicken!" Scootaloo shouts back.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden is eager to help, but... he still knows better than jumping over fences!... ok, he really can't jump like Ziggy did, but if someone asks, he will claim the former as an excuse!. He moves to the edge, looking inside for a moment. He was moving slowly, "What's that thing?" he asks softly as he spotsthe giant bird thing.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
Augh, stupid cat... why can't he be like he is in the early mornings, snuggly and happy to curl up at the foot of her bed? Why couldn't she keep the door closed? At least most of the guests are there to help capture the fleeing feline.

"To your right!" Toph calls as Alden is there to intercept Buster, though she groans when the cat manages to slip past him. "Your /other/ right!" Steve's tasty tuna treat might help persuade Buster, at least the cat loves food that he normally doesn't get on a daily basis. And with Sarah adding salmon it might just help too. "I chase Buster all the time, Babycap. Of course you can chase him!"

Except if he runs into /one/ specific place that he's not supposed to go into.

When Ziggy leaps over the earthen fence, Toph's eyes widen in absolute horror, her face drained of all its colour.

    "... oh no."

Most likely nobody else understands just what kind of danger the young man just put himself in, and Toph abruptly /turns/ for some reason, rushing back to the house. What... is she /running/...?

Behind the large war chocobo a similar, but slightly smaller bird appears, tilting its head curiously with a squeaky 'wark' sound. Only to let out a more excited sound as it flaps its wings... and a meteor suddenly appears from above, falling down towards the edge of the pen!

Tony Stark (301) has posed:
Cuddles, the ill-tempered giant chocobo in question, fluffs her wings indignantly and makes some warning clucking noises. One might notice, as the crowd draws up to share light sources, the presence of several out-of-place looking rocks, and divots in the pasture that look like small impact craters.

Oh yes that's right, red chocobos can summon meteors when they fight. As Nugget helpfully demonstrates.

Fortunately, Ziggy is here to distract the big bitchy bird from doing any meteor-calling just yet. As he lands in the paddock, her head swings around almost snakelike to orient on him. And then he offers her chicken. Does she look like a cannibal?

"WARK!" she declares, and charges at him, her big clawed feet beating out a thump-Thump-THUMP cadence like a train gaining speed.

Buster, meanwhile, sits perfectly safely under the birds' watering trough and watches the commotion with studied disinterest as he licks a paw.

Staren has posed:
    Crack... crack... SUDDENLY, CAT!

     TIME PARADOX

"...Uh, whoops. Sorry, girls." Staren looks embarassed.

    Okay, next try!

The original van escapes. Kick and Conka-4 warp in in the car's back seats. "We got this! Hit that ramp!" The car sails into the air, and -4 leap down onto the van. This leaves the two our players are controlling crashing through alleys and trying to get back to the van they were chasing.

"You know, something bothers me." Kick says. "What?" Conka asks. "Well, when we first arrived here, we didn't know about the other vans. Future us told us about it." "Yeah, so?" "Well... when /we/ became future us, I told past-us about the vans because I remembered future-us telling us, but we never learned about the--" "There it is!" Conka interrupts as the van turns into a cross-street ahead of them. The chase finally ends. The other van ended in the same place, Twelve sets of high-fives are exchanged between the two pairs. And then... the building they arrived at turns into a giant robot. Surprise boss fight with two teams!

After that, there's a cinematic of going back, crashing the other van here, and then they fight through the /other/ half of the boss fight.

This feels like the home stretch, folks! Everything is almost wrapped up...

Ziggy Grover has posed:
"Uh, I guess that means you're not interested in making friends...?" Ziggy responds, before dropping everything and spinning to flee. C'mon, c'mon... where's his morpher...?

Trying to slide his jacket sleeve up so that he can get at his morpher, Ziggy has to exclaim, "WHY is it raining rocks _now_? Which monster of the week has to pick -now- to start throwing rocks?!"

Rarity (136) has posed:
"..." And Scootaloo takes off -right- after Toph without asking farther. That one of the birds someone makes a comet (yes, that's wrong, she slept through Astronomy class) somehow fall is just twice the incentive. "These chickens are worse than Discord!"

Scootaloo ducks next to the wall once inside the doors... And Rarity just smirks a bit smugly at her and Toph. "That's what you get for trying to change a -cat's- mind." Before turning and trotting back to the snack table.

Sanary Rondel has posed:
For better or for worse, Sanary's not getting attacked by the giant birdhorse! There's just the little issue of the smaller chocobo calling FREAKING SKYROCKS down on the people around the chocobo pen! She's really regretting her decision not to bring a shield even while she hurries into the pen to avoid getting blasted, panting some before turning to Nugget.

"H... Hey there. Don't do that, okay? We're not here to hurt anyone..." She murmurs while approaching the chocobo much in the same way she had the first time, although she does crouch and semi-waddle to move closer while keeping her profile down. She's trying to look like she's not a threat, after all! "We're just here to get the cat... You can let us do that, yeah?"

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
"Oh for pity's sake." Cirra holds her right hand out, materializing her sword. Is she going to attack the Chocobos?!

"The." She intones as black smoke drifts off her body as she clenches her teeth tightly. More and more smoke pours out as she focuses, eyes scred tightly shut.

"FORTRESS!" with one last massive billow of smoke, and opening golden glowing eyes, her left hand snatches a card out of thin air, and tosses it up, piercing it through with her sword and into the ground.

Magic Particles zip around the Stark Estate, forming the outline of a massive fortress (that looks like Final Fantasy's Alexander) until a magical barrier to repel the meteors forms solid around the cliffside house.

But Cirra isn't moving from her spot and is looking like she's going to wobble over any moment now.

Steve Rogers has posed:
Nothing's ever simple around here, is it?

Apparently Buster has better things to do than scarf down some freshly-opened tuna; Steve sees Toph running back to the house for something, then looks towards the chocobos' pen and sees the meteor (???) manifesting. He's probably going to need his shield, isn't he?

But for now, Steve leaves the tuna where he put it down and sprints towards the chocobo pen as well. If he can avoid the meteor, great, but it sounds like Ziggy needs a rescue either way. So Steve vaults the side of the pen, ready to grab Ziggy - or maybe just to distract the chocobo. "You know we're not allowed to hurt any of Stark's pets, right?" he asks Ziggy, sounding almost casual.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden is not really able to think much, the VERY large rock falling from the sky makes him panic, and he tries to do something to keep it from landing!, or deflect it!. He decides to just try. He rushes for one of his cards, slashing rapidly, not even bothering with the usual voice command he says. A swift burst of light, and he is now a Garurumon, tall wolf beast looking up. He inhales quickly, preparing a blast, but seems he is beaten to it!. He simply stares at the effect repels the stone, letting out a soft sigh. Of course, he does not realize he might just freaked out the birds. Dumb move.

Sarah Rogers (796) has posed:
Sarah barely manages to get out of the way in time as Toph dashes back inside. She's heading *outside* to see if she could do anything to make this chaos a little less chaotic. She does have the foresight to grab her shield on the way out.

Alright. Take stock of the situation. Ziggy's pissing off a giant chicken.. He surely has the sense to run away. Surely. And for some reason there's a meteor? That at least she can deal with.

Sarah takes to the air, shield first. Angling it toward the meteor. Gotta deflect it toward the nearest water source! The Pool! She plows into at an angle that she hopes will send it into the Stark Watering Hole. It's only a few seconds after it bounces off her shield that she realizes the bay isn't that far either. Oops.

Ziggy Grover has posed:
"RPM! GET IN GEAR!" Ziggy manages to bark out in between breaths as Cap shows up.

Spinning around to confront the Chocobo, hands up in fighting position, Ranger Green stares back up at Captain America. "Wait, what? But then what am I supposed to do...?" he says, just before the Chocobo headbutts him, sending him flying, limbs flailing, into the pen fence.

Neuroi Girl has posed:
From her spot in the sky, Evangeline has first view of the falling meteors that the giant birds have summoned. She comes to a stop, then looks up at the sky. Then...she raises her arms and that red energy that several here might recognize builds at the ends of her arms. "...bad chickens..." she says as she fires a powerful beam up to meet the closest meteor. Might be Babycap's meteor. Might be another. Either way, there is a large explosion that should pulverize the meteor if it is hit by the sinister red Neuroi beam.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
    "WARK!

The smaller chocobo is flapping its wings excitedly, though it doesn't seem to be charging the people inside the pen. When Sarah speaks to it, the bird seems to be dancing in place, nearly running around in a circle and unable to contain its excitedment! "WARK WARK!" And here another meteor plummets out of the sky. It's not a large meteor, but it will still hurt if it hits somebody in the head.

The fact that Alden and Cirra do their thing to deflect the meteors catches Nugget the chocobo's attention, and the bird rustles its feathers before it lets out another happy work. Yet another meteor! Which luckily Evangeline deals with, shattering it into debris that rains down around the pen.%R    Yes, this is all a game to Toph's ditzy mount. And it might explain why she doesn't really use her much for missions, huh?

"They aren't chickens, they are Ivalician war chocobos!" Toph retorts to Scootaloo, rushing back inside and past where the others are gaming and singing karaoke. Just where is Toph going? Off to a locked cabinet which contains what looks like fancy bottles, and she sighs, speaking to Jarvis. "Sorry Jarvis, this is an emergency. It's not for me."

With that Toph reaches out, digging her fingers into the metallic lock and tearing it open, grabbing as many bottles as she can. "If anybody else raids Goldie's supply then good luck explaining it to Cap!" she yells before she rushes back outside towards the beach, obviously in a great hurry.

As Toph rushes back towards the pen, she makes sure to be careful with all the bottles as she speaks into her radio. "Just keep your distance to the angry one, Zig! I'll be right there, just hold on and don't piss her off further!" With one jerky motion of her head Toph bends the cap off of one of the fancy beer bottles. And off she runs, raising her voice to call out to the foul tempered bird. "CUDDLES! WANT A TREAT?!" Hopefully it's enough time for Ziggy to get away!

Rarity (136) has posed:
And while all the insanity is going on with cats and chocobos and meteors, Sweetie Belle and Applebloom are still paying more attention to trying to beat the video game and not let anything else distract them. They're so close to the end now!

And a giant building that's also a giant robot. Where's a Sonic Rainboom when you could use one?

.. Actually, the powerup Applebloom manages to pick up is a bazooka that shoots a rainbow rocket, isn't that close enough?

Annie Sandberg (437) has posed:
Annie is also sticking with watching the game. "Look for the weak points!" she exclaims, getting excited by the epic boss fight music. "Man... what would Silverbloom do?"

Tony Stark (301) has posed:
Cuddles pulls up to a stop before she actually slams into the wall of the paddock, and seems strangely satisfied with herself for having successfully headbutted Ziggy the interloper out of her territory. She draws her head up and back, fluffing out her chest feathers with satisfaction. Which is when she notices Cap having leaped into the pen as well, like a big spangly rodeo clown. Only he isn't in his spangly uniform. Shame. She drags one foot across the ground, digging a furrow in the dirt with her claws like a bull pawing in warning. Her head makes a couple of sharp little lunging motions in his direction.

And then she hears two words she knows, and likes: 'Cuddles' and 'treat' in close proximity. "Wark!" She exclaims, and trots up to the wall nearest to where Toph's approach, jostling Steve aside in passing if he doesn't move out of her way.

Yes, this is Cuddles' kryptonite: beer.

Buster slinks quietly across the darker part of the chocobo paddock and oozes under the fence again, because cats are part liquid. His nose twitches, and he saunters casually over to an open can of tuna someone just left on the ground. He noms quietly.

Ziggy Grover has posed:
Staggering up after going -crash- into the wall, Ranger Green flails around, flopping like a dying fish, before rolling over onto his stomach once he realizes that the Angry Chocobo isn't coming after him.

"Ohhhh. remind me never to play a game of Chicken again, especially with a giant red chicken."

Steve Rogers has posed:
And just like that, it seems like the situation has been resolved.

Steve sidesteps away from Cuddles as the chocobo strides over to accept the 'treat' from Toph, then looks over at Ranger Green. "You all right?" he inquires, offering Ziggy a hand back to his feet. "I think I know where Buster went, let's go round him up and get people back inside ..."

He pauses to look around, taking note of any property damage that was inflicted by chocobo-summoned meteors. This is already a more expensive party than he'd hoped it would be.

Staren has posed:
'Rainbow rockets?' Staren mutters. This game is ridiculous.

When Conka blasts a weakpoint with it, the other Conka shouts, "Yeah, go me!"

Once the building-bot lies in ruins with more generic angry ranting from holo-Karasu, and high-fives have been exchanged, Kick and Conka-2 pump their fists. "Alright! Time to go back to the future and stop Dr. Karasu!" As they're about to activate the time devices, Kick and Conka-4 grab their wrists. "Wait! First you have to go back and be /us/, remember?" "Oh, right." They look properly abashed, and warp away.

"Time to go back to the future, and stop Dr. Karasu!" Kick and Conka-4 activate the time devices, and that's enough of /that/ silliness.

The pair appear in front of a tall building with a crow motif to it. As they enter, Dr. Karasu announces over the intercom that he's disabled their weapons with his energy field. This level plays like a beat-em-up, almost as if the devs had part of another game that was shoehorned in at the last minute... At least they can loot cool melee weapons from their opponents!

And then, it's time for the arbitrary elevator section! Dr. Karasu must be at the top!

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Sanary slouches just a bit when Nugget doesn't seem to notice that she exists. She's proud of her pig wrangling skills, but for a chocobo to not even look her way? Well.. Maybe it's a good thing. She doesn't want those meteors anywhere near her, after all!

Besides, it does make it a little easier for her to focus on finding Ziggy, snickering at his predicament for a moment before squatting by him and offering a hand. "Easy. I think it's getting taken care of now. How many fingers am I holding up?" As she projects some healing magic in a green light cloud into Ziggy to spread it through him lazily, she holds up four fingers on her other hand to make sure he's not too badly injured. Granted, she's not sure if he even got hit in the head, but... Well.

     Healing!

Tony Stark (301) has posed:
Buster nom nom nom. He's pretty sure he's the winner of this whole debacle. He got tuna, after all.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
"Here, girl! Have fancy microbrewery ale!" Toph coos, doing her best to keep Cuddles focused on the bottle she's waving for the large bird. That's it, come and drink fancy beer that Tony probably was saving for a fancy occasion. She even bends herself a pillar to stand on so that she can get high up and make it harder for Cuddles to mess with the others while drinking the expensive beverage too.

"Just get out of the pen while you can! Cap, take Buster inside, and make sure the patio door isn't left open, okay?" Good thing Tony will most likely laugh and watch the security tapes instead of being upset about his alcohol supply being raided. He still has all the fancy whiskey left. And since Ziggy is taking his sweet ass time in getting out of the pen, Toph does consider launching him out with earthbending...

Sanary is there to take care of him though, and Toph settles for warning them. "You better get out before Cuddles is done drinking all this beer, otherwise you might piss her off again. She's the most hateful thing alive if you ask me... yeah, who's a big feathery murderball with a snobby taste for drinks? Yup, talking about you, Cuddles! You're lucky Goldie has the cash to give you beer on a daily basis..." Toph mock-coos at the bird, who's most likely used to it. And probably content as long as she's given beer.

"Maybe it's time we settle down for horror stories and snacks before we go to bed," she suggests. This was certainly enough action and suspense for some, perhaps.

Rarity (136) has posed:
And the girls proptly switch positions again, since a beat-em-up is much more Applebloom's style. Other than being more accustomed to bucking than punching, but it's not a difficult aspect to get past once you get going.

Especially when she gets a power up that makes her punchs -explode-. No questioning how that works, she just goes right back to exploding robots. With punches. It's hardly the strangest thing this game has come up with.

Sweetie Belle lets Applebloom do her thing, and instead goes to the snack table for a bottle of water. Comes back, sticks a straw in it, and holds it over every so often so Applebloom can get a drink without looking away from the screen.

"Once the girls are done with their game it will be time for them to go to bed." Rarity pauses, looking around for the digimon. "And I think Alden already went and passed out after that debacale with the cat wrangling."

Neuroi Girl has posed:
Evangeline lowers her arms when the meteors stop falling, then makes her way back down to the ground. "...maybe cats are not as cute as Sanya seems to think..." she says softly as she floats back toward the ground. "...is everyone alright..?" she asks, still in her cute blue sky pink cloud pjs. She looks up at Toph working with the chocobo, then urges everyone back toward the house. "...I suppose I will have to try karaoke another time..." she says as she floats back through the door of the manor.

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
"We'll have to do karaoke for breakfast tomorrow," Toph assures Evangeline, making sure to bend open another bottle for Cuddles.

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
With the meteors halted and the Chocobos calmed, Cirra releases the Law Card and Judge Blade as she gasps for breath. THe black smoke disappears and Cirra moves back to the house, a bit more sluggishly then before.

JARVIS can probably see low blood pressure and other signs of mild anemia.

Thee Judge flops on a chair, much less gracefully then earlier as she shuts her eyes for a minute.

Tony Stark (301) has posed:
Cuddles chugs greedily. Tony usually just gives her Budweiser or something he can stock in bulk. This is the good stuff. "Wark," she says around sloppy glugging noises.

Ziggy Grover has posed:
"Mostly okay, but I want pillows, lots of pillows," Ranger Green whines, not morphing back to his normal self just yet, simply because he didn't -want- to risk abandoning the protective powers of the suit. "Can I steal all of Tony's pillows?"

Steve Rogers has posed:
"I think this is probably going to trump anything most of us can come up with," Steve comments to Toph with a wry grin. If Ziggy needs the offered hand up, Steve hoists the RAnger back to his feet, then vaults back out of the chocobo pen.

He doesn't quite head straight back to the house; instead, Steve's next stop is where he left that open can of tuna. He's at least nice enough to let Buster finish eating before scooping the cat up gently, cradling Buster in the crook of his left arm while his right hand administers pettings.

Many pettings.

*All of the pettings*.

That should keep Buster content long enough to get back to the house, and close the patio door so there's no risk of a repeat performance. Steve will have to go fetch the empty can in the morning, but there shouldn't be much danger of anything else happening to it overnight ... hopefully.

Sarah Rogers (796) has posed:
The Meteor that landed in the pool was surprisingly anti-climactic. It did sauced in getting the patio wet, and the pool is steaming now thanks to the hot rock, but there was no earth shattering kaboom. Darn. Sarah makes a note to fish the thing out once it cools off. Hopefully before Tony notices. She lands next to Ziggy and Pop and walks back into the house with them. "Everything okay here?"

Sanary Rondel has posed:
Hearing Toph's warning, Sanary grunts as she nudges the Green Ranger to try and get him back onto his feet while continuing to dump healing magic into him. "Sure, why not. But we gotta get inside for you to do that, understand? Chocobird's only going to be drinking for so long until she comes back."

And if Ziggy's not getting up on his own? The cleric's just going to try scooping him right up and carrying him inside, princess style!

Staren has posed:
At the top is... Dr. Karasu! "No, no, NO! My plan was /brilliant/! I can't believe you... you /kids/ got this far! But I have one trick left! I didn't just go to the past, no... SEE YOU IN THE FUTURE, SUCKERS!" *Warp*!

"Kick! Conka! I've got a fix! Sending the coordinates to you now! Good luck!" "Doc, you're back!" Kick exclaims. "What? Did I go somewhere?"

"After him!" Conka exclaims, activating the warp!

STAGE 7
The Crowship
Space,] 3000AD

This is it, the final stage! Complete with rockin' music! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_0RFXTGQC8
Everything they've learned... the enemies from all previous stages are back. There's a beat-em-up section, a chase section with space minecarts, a cover shooting section, and at long last, the ship's core, where Dr. Karasu is at the helm of a vaguely crustacean military mashup machine.

"How? How did you make it this far? How did you ruin everything? IT DOESN'T MATTER! THIS ENDS HERE!"

The machine crawls along the walls of the massive core room. The players have to wait for it to expose weak points to attack, and avoid damaging the core lest the ship blow up around them!

When it's all over at last, and they pull Karasu from the wreck, Kick slaps cuffs on. "Well, Dr. Karasu. Looks like you're... OUT OF TIME."

Conka, Kick, and the Dr. Bright hologram laugh.

That's it! Roll credits! It's the end! Thank you for playing!

Tony Stark (301) has posed:
Buster the Iron Cat is now more than amenable to being picked up by Captain America and carried back inside. He has a belly full of tuna after all. And he's had enough exercise and excitement to last him for at least twenty minutes or however long his next nap lasts. He purrs, loudly and enthusiastically, butting and rubbing his head all over Steve's face.

Ziggy Grover has posed:
"The softest pillows you got," Ranger Green bemoans, as he begrudgingly gets up to his feet, beholdened to Sanary. Belatedly, he follows the Captain out beyond the pen.

"I'm okay," the Ranger responds to Sarah, bringing his hands to his back and trying to work out the cricks. "Heating pads might be nice. I'm too old for this."

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
"There are soft pillows all around in the guest rooms," Toph says to Ziggy, feeding Cuddles one more beer bottle to make sure they can get safely out of the pen. Man, that bird can drink beer...!

Once they're all inside with the patio door safely closed, the game finished, it is probably time for the youngest guests to go to bed, and Toph turns to Rarity. "Need help with getting the girls to bed? I was thinking we could turn down the lights, change into pjs and get to telling horror stories after that." She turns to the other guests at large. "Sound like a plan?"

Rarity (136) has posed:
The final pun might gets some groans out of people, but the trio are too busy high hoofing each other. "CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS VIDEO TIME WARRIORS YAAAAAY!" Which is naturally followed by turning in place a few times to look at their backsides, but nope, no cutie marks for defeating absurdly awesome video games. Oh well.

This time it doesn't seem to bother them, as the trio promptly tackle Staren much like they did Toph when they arrived. Because he's use to getting pony hugs, if not necessarily from three small fillies at the same time.

"Alright you three." Rarity is quick to usher them off once they're done hugging Staren to near death. "It's time for you to go to bed so they can do their older kid activities." There is the usual bit of objecting you would expect from kids, but it's quickly followed by yawning and little actual protest in being guided off to the designated girls' sleeping area.

Though everyone gets treated to Sweetie Belle's version of a lullaby. That is perfectly clear to make out. Yes, even though they are several rooms away now. Sweetie Belle just has THAT much lung power.

Annie Sandberg (437) has posed:
Annie gives a celebratory high-five (/sishoof) to the winners, before following them off to the sleeping area. She has to conserve some power herself, and wants to be there to get up with them too.

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
Cirra raises her hand after she hears sweetiebelle sing from down the hall. "Orange juice and whatever you have for a headache, please."

Staren has posed:
Staren holds his fist out for a hoofbump, but gets pouncehugged instead! He gives a "Eep!" of surprise, but then pats the CMC on the backs. "We did it! Well done!" Once he can sit up again, he gives Rarity a thumbs-up as the crusaders flock back to her. Mission: Entertain children? COMPLETE!

Staren finds himself shifting back and forth a bit in time with Sweetie's song. "Huh, I didn't know your sister could sing like that!" he comments when Rarity returns. "Although, was that suppsoed to be a lullaby? Because now I feel more pumped up for whatever we're doing next! Scary movies, was it?"

Sanary Rondel has posed:
After making sure Ziggy's distinctly alive and not-dying, Sanary lets out a relieved sigh before grinning at Toph's proposal. "Horror stories... Sounds like a fun way to end the night." She's certainly looking ready to call it a night, between all the excitement from before and at the food that she gorged herself on earlier.

... Right. Food. That whole situation with the cat's worked up quite an appetite, and Sanary's not going to let that food go to waste. Another burger, another slice of pizza, some chicken, a side of fondue cheese... She's not planning on taking that with her while listening to those scary stories, is she?

Yes. Yes, she is. At least she's got her PJs safely tucked away in a bag under her arm. It's even got penguin motifs! She snickers lightly at the ponies dogpiling on Staren, then glances over at Cirra and raises an eyebrow. "You okay over there? Come on. It'll be easier to sleep on a real bed."

Neuroi Girl has posed:
Evangeline watches the last of the game and the antics of the three little ponies, then nods to Toph's plan. "...karaoke in the morning...scary stories tonight..." she says, then tilts her head slightly. "...I do not know any scary stories..."

Changing into PJs isn't something Eva needs to worry about. She's been wearing them the whole time. As Sanary gathers up some food, Evangeline decides to do the same. She gathers up quite a plateful of random items, mostly high-calorie and high-sugar foods. Which...is probably everything at a slumber party.

Sarah Rogers (796) has posed:
Sarah quips with a grin, "Ziggy should probably sit this part out, I don't think his heart could handle horror stories after everything else."

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
Woah, talk about one set of lungs for such a small pony...! Toph arches an eyebrow, then chuckles at Cirra's comment. "I'll go grab some more stuff to drink from the fridge after I've changed into pjs. The rest of you do the same!"

In not too long the living room has been dimmed, and candles have been lit to give the room a somewhat eerie atmosphere. The couch has tons of blankets ready for this purpose, the fireplace is lit for those who wants to make smores, and there's various bottles of beverages (alcohol free) set out for those who want something to drink.

Toph herself is wearing a t-shirt with cutesy bunny print pj pants, probably something Pepper got her, and she sits down on the edge of the couch, grinning. Obviously this is something she's been looking forward to. "Okay, anybody want to go first?" She /could/ go first, but as always she prefers to wait incase her guests really want to tell their spooky story first.

Rarity (136) has posed:
Rarity ahehes at Staren once she's rejoined the main party. "She is at that age where she is still shy about performing on her own. The only reason she would do part of the song for Nightmare Night is because she was doing it -with- me." Followed by a soft um, and a bit of a shrug. "At least it helps tire her out for once she's done?"

Do ponies even wear pajamas? It's a matter of personal taste really. In Rarity's case it's not pajamas but she did come back wearing one of her designer robes. Same difference. Plus when she sits down to listen to the stories, she's also starting to put in her mane curlers.

Steve Rogers has posed:
Steve wasn't planning on going to sleep quite yet, but he does take advantage of the lull in the party to make sure the food is covered up appropriately (and the heat's off under the fondue), then to brush his teeth and change into his own sleepwear. It may or may not still be Army-issue.

Either way, he returns to the living room shortly thereafter, sifting through what he knows that might make good horror-story fodder ...

Cirra Constantine (675) has posed:
"I'm fine." Cirra waves Sanary's suggestion off. "The Fortress uses more MP then I can actually store." she shifts back up in her seat. "So I turn my blood in MP."

When everyone has changed into their PJs of simple white sweatpants and a black T-shirt and looking much better after juice and some ibuprofen..

Neuroi Girl has posed:
Evangeline settles down near Toph, actually sitting for once. "...you should start, Toph..." she says as she quickly makes a plate of food disappear. Burgers, vegetables, sugary treats...sugary treats dipped in fondue. If it was available, Evangeline got some of it.

Staren has posed:
Pajamas? Staren's got it covered. His clothes seem to burst into a cloud of threads, then reform as a T-shirt, athletic shorts, and moccasins.

    Ready for every occasion!

Or not. "Horror stories, huh? I've never been a big fan of collecting them, and I'm not sure I'm that great at telling stories..." He looks around. "I'm sure some people here are though, right?"

Toph Beifong (20) has posed:
Whatever stories they have, it certainly seems to keep the guests awake as they rile each other up with terrifying tales. While she was going to let others tell their stories first, Toph relents when Evangeline urges her to tell her story first. "Ah, well, if you insist..." Though the blind girl does seem eager to tell the story which seems like something she thought up herself. A horrifying tale about the dreaded Melon Lord, a mysterious creature from the very depths of the earth... And she's becoming more and more involved with the story as it goes on and on, especially ten minutes into the story.

"- and the kids thought they were safe as they managed to haul themselves onto the back of the majestic hose just in the nick of time, the claws of the Melon Lord barely missing their feet. A shriek left it, as if frustrated that they escaped from its grasp! As they galloped on the threatening figure who had chased them throughout the night disappeared in the distance among the bushes, they let out a sigh of relief, not noticing how the hide of the horse changed from white to pitch black, and how its shape suddenly began to change..." Toph says, waggling her fingers as she makes her voice as creepy as she can make it.

Sleep overs hardly get better than this!

Sanary Rondel has posed:
"If you're sure." Although Sanary sounds skeptical at Cirra's response, she won't prod too much. It doesn't take long for her to get changed into those penguin PJs, and she's soon laying on her stomach with her stash of food!

She may also be trying to get Cirra to eat some of it. Just because Sanary considers them rivals doesn't mean she can't be worried about her health! Besides, it'll look bad if she has leftover food by the end of story time.

"I'll remember something sooner or later... Yeah, go for it, birthday girl~" She grins in agreement with Evangeline's suggestion.

Once Toph actually tells that story, though, Sanary's really regretting that encouragement. At least nobody can (probably) see her face too clearly!

Neuroi Girl has posed:
If Evangeline is scared she doesn't show it. Perhaps she -can't- show it, if she actually is scared. Whatever she thinks of the story is kept secret as she just watches Toph the entire time, except when she is 'biting' into something. And even her eating comes to a stop as Toph pauses for effect and waggles her fingers. "...what...was it changing into..?" she says softly, her typical voice already pretty close to that of a scared little girl.

Rarity (136) has posed:
*THUD*

And that would be Rarity fainting just at the discription of a equine going through such a horrific change. And Toph didn't even get all the way through the details of said change!
