Location: The Great Forest
Synopsis: A demonic bunny appears! Is one group of Elites enough to stop him?
Cast of Characters: 132, 399, Neuroi Girl, 750, Gaonoir, 930

Gaonoir has posed:
It had started as a pretty standard cryptid hunt. Erika saw some creature sighting online, dragged Gaonoir to investigate, and Gaonoir had actually invited Alden along so he wouldn't have to deal with it himself. Only to find the problem was a bit bigger than anticipated, and after some self-discovery for various parties had backed out to regroup.

They needed help with this one. Fortunately the nature of the Multiverse makes it pretty easy to put out some additional calls for help.

The logging camp was still in ruins. Machinery tossed about, lying in busted heaps. Massive claw marks gouged the sides of cabins. At the moment there was no sign of the vicious Digimon they had encountered, or the ice they had briefly been frozen in to facilitate the withdrawl. But that storm was still brewing overhead, occasionally cracking with thunder and crimson lightly.

Gaonoir was already in his evolved stage, arms folded across his chest after he set Erika down on the ground. He was just hoping people would actually respond to the requests. He... hadn't exactly been the best at actually making friends until recently.

Neuroi Girl has posed:
Upon hearing that there were problems in the Digital World, Evangeline had responded. She had grown somewhat fond of it after her last few experiences here. The metallic black little Neuroi flies in over the logging camp, surveying the area, then floats down to Gaonoir. "...Hello there..." she says, bowing forward at her waist respectfully to the digimon and Erika. "..you put out a call for help..?" she asks, tilting her featureless face just a bit in an inquisitive gesture.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden was besides Gaonoir and Erika, wanting to offer all the help he can to the digimon and human pair. He did promise to try his best!. He hopes that Gao's call for help gets some attention, because from what he heard, this was going to be really bad.

He was rather unnerved by teh camp, not enterily sure why, surprised it was in teh same state they encountered last time!. Unlike Gao, he... is not that good at keeping his forms while idle, so he remains in his Gabumon shape. And he is not alone!, he is with his own partner, Katze, the shinki!. a small humanoid robot girl with a cat tail, and kitty ears!. It was wearing it's combat armor, which did not seem that impressive, covering chest, arms and lower legs, a large (for a 5 inch or so girl) drill replacing her left hand. The two were next to Gao, so they notice the new arrival, turning to wave to Neuroi.

Taro (399) has posed:
That Taro is on anyone's Friends List may show some questionable judgment. Or perhaps not. He does have a tendency to be polite and civil, even helpful in certain circumstances. And it's not like he's told Alden or the others about certain aspects of his profession...
Thus, he appears in a muted flash of a transserver teleport, with a twinkling pair of cyber-elves flanking him. No cassock today, instead he's in a set of armor, its wings folded back to keep out of his and ther others' way. "You called?" he says with a shallow bow...which freezes for a moment when he spots Neuroi. "...good evening."

Rebound (750) has posed:
You know she hasn't done much when it comes to dealing with the Digimon, but Rebound is good at beating up bad guys. So that's why she's here. She's picked up from Syndicate contacts that there's something big going down here.

So she's here, the kangaroo mutant not surprised to spot all the others gathering up as well, "Huh. Looks like the party's about to kick off, huh?"

Gaonoir has posed:
Another... robot? Cyborg? It was almost as hard to tell sometimes as it was to distinguish which Digimon were mechanical, cybernetic or just weird looking. And Rebound could almost be mistaken for one, except Kangaroomon is a lot more... doofy looking. Taro is the only familiar face other than Alden, from one brief meeting, but it's reassuring that he came all the same.

"Hi Taro! Hi other people that thankfully responded!" Despite the gloomy situation Erika still manages most of her usual spirit. She's just trying to be more focused for the situation, digivice held firmly in one hand. "Last time we ran to a pack of rather nasty Digimon," at least she makes up for Gaonoir's lack of talkitivity when it comes to exposition, "and warnings that there may be a bigger boss behind them. We need to find out why they tore this place up, and get rid of them. If they're still here--"

"They're here alright," Gaonoir cuts in, unfolding his arms to clench his hands and acivate his power gauntlets, entire body tense. Alden's digimon-sense would feel the ominousity too. They weren't bothering to hide this time.

Sure enough, several of he dark creatures come bounding into the camp from the shadowy edges, a few climbing over the buildings to do so. With their broad upper bodies, elongated limbs and dark brown and redwood colored fur it isn't hard to see how the loggers mistook them for 'Bigfoot' and ran off. They look like they have little puppy-face hats on their heads, but they still look creepy as they charge towards the group, swinging those long arms like bludgeons and cackling in creepy warbling voices.

"They're members of the Demon Army that tried to destroy our world, don't go easy on them!" The one in the lead gets an unpleasant welcome as it punches a fist into Gaonoir's chest, only for the bionic wolfman to spin around and ram one of his metal feet into the side of it's head with a roundhouse Chuck Norris would be proud of. It slams into the side of a tipped over truck, shattering into itty bitty voxels and energy motes.

Neuroi Girl has posed:
Evangeline would certainly seem like a robot at first glance. And probably after subsequent glances. And she certainly doesn't act like a human. As those creatures come bounding out of the shadows, the Neuroi turns herself to face them. "...do not go easy..." she repeats, as if Gaonoir has given her permission for something.

Without another word, Evangeline takes off, flying almost silently through the air despite moving at a few hundred miles per hour. She holds her arms forward and a sinister red glow starts to form at their tips. Then, she fires.

Twin streams of red energy lance across the battlefield, with little concern for conserving what remains of the camp. Those beams cause explosions along their entire path, regardless of what they hit. Evangeline -does- try to aim them so that mostly Wendimon are hit, but...with beams like those, there is likely to be collateral damage.

Taro (399) has posed:
Taro listens and nods to Erika as the human woman explains just what they've all walked into. "I see. And we should...?"
He has no chance to finish the question, and since it's about to be answered, there's no real reason for him to finish it anyway. He turns to look behind him as Gaonoir warns them, just in time to see the - rogue? evil? dangerous certainly - digimon leap and bound into what's left of the loggong camp. Just how far they should escelate this is thankfully preemptively answered, and to the android snatches his beam sabre from its sheath. "Myrrh, in reserve," he says quietly to his tiny assistants, "Sitta, with me."
And with that, the android dashes for the closest of the Wendimon, blade forming with a snap-hiss of energy as he makes his first arcing blow.
He will mind and try to stay out of the line of fire of his allies, but really with a bright energy beam for a weapon in the dark, he shouldn't be that hard to spot.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden's ears perk up, smiling towards Taro, and to the Neuroi girl, who he is sure he saw more than once before, "Glad you would make it, we really need the help-." he says happily, matching Erika's happy spirit for now. The kangaroo mutant makes him tilt his head a bit, but he simply smiles, waving as well, before suddenly tensing and letting out a growl, "They are here, lots of them..." he mumbles, the digivice he was carrying letting out several beeps.

He reaches for said device and hands it to his Shinki, "Ok, stay with Erika, I am sure you will be safer there, keep an eye on her." he tells the robotic girl. He makes sure to slide one card before leaving the device away. "Digi modify, Super evolution plugin P.". His form glows brightly, exploding into voxels, and revealing a rather tall bipedal wolf, wearing jeans, and seemingly armed just with bronze knuckles, "I won't go easy on them, but got to save energy for when the leader appears."

Inmediatly afterwards, he jumps ahead, towards the second closest. "Garuru Kick!" he growls, giving a rather powerful roundhouse kick of his own, and sending his target right away as well, tossing it, and the Wendigo behind them away. There is one burst of energy motes from the landing area, but one of them manages to get up.

He decides to stay near Erika and Katze, jumping back, ready to intercept any of those creepy things in case they try to attack them.

Rebound (750) has posed:
Demon army? Kick ass! Rebound slams her armored hands together, "Alright, lets do this!" She's not going to back down, no. Sure she doesn't know exactly what she's up against, but that's never stopped her before. She drives forward, using her feet to push off and fly towards the closest of the demonic digimon.

She swings wide, slipping past one of them to strike the one behind it, before wheeling around with one of her big feet to slam it into the Digimon she blew past in the first place. She's going to smash both of them in one swift move. Hopefully she won't get overwhelmed

Gaonoir has posed:
And kick ass is exactly what happens. Kicking, punching, blades and lasers. The camp was already trashed so no one is really going to complain that what remains is going to be blown up. That kind of happens in Digimon fights anyways, and they already confirmed no humans had stayed.

The Wendimon may be big, creepy, and terrifying in large numbers... But they're only Adult (Champion for you American stage users) levels and this time they're the ones being overwhelming. Bodies fly left and right from the attacks, some crashing and collapsing to the grounds, the others erupting into energy motes of data that defeated digimon do. Humans they could scare. Only two mutts they could hold their own against. But when a whole group of Elites get into the mix, they didn't really stand a chance.

The storm overhead churns. Thunder booms, and lightning flashes. Except the lightning is red, and the bolts actually arc towards the camp below. One of the cabin remains go up in demonic flames, while the other bolts are striking dangerously close for comfort. Erika wisely keeps back from the fighters, yeeping a bit as the lightning actually hits the ground in front of them. "Stay close," she murmurs at Katze on her shoulder.

Thunder booms again, sounding almost like laughter. "NOW WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE?!" an unearthly voice follows from above. The churning stormclouds spiral inward, as if opening some sort of doorway. Out of it descends a much larger being, gangly limbs much like the Wendimon but it's dark form is bigger, even by digimon standards and quite rotound. Two long rabbit-like ears danging off its head in a way that, combined with the jingle bell collar around it's neck, might remind one of a jester. A fat, demonic jester. Beady eyes for the fat head narrow at the group below, highlighted ominously from the fire's glow. "Isn't that cute. The mortals of this world are trying to fight back."

"CHERUBIMON!" Engines whine as Gaonoir launchs himself intot he air, hurtling towards the emerging form. "You're going to pay for what you've done!"

Cherubimon taps his chin a moment. "How about no?" He swings one arm and, although he doesn't even touch the other digimon, something with force slams into Gaonoir, knocking the BlackMachgaogamon out of the air like a rock and sending him crashing into the camp wreckage. "And for the rest of you..." Cherubimon holds up his other arm. "JUDGEMENT STORM! Multiple more red lightning bolts, crackling with demonic energy as they hurtle towards the gathered heroes.

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden jumps back as some lightning lands nearby, and inches closer to Erika, his fur on end at the laugh. He lets out a rather loud whine as he sees the large form descend from the sky, blinking a few times. "That thing is strong..." he growls, snarling. He quickly reaches for his cards, "We need to take that thing down quickly.". He barely has time to grab one card when he sees Gao getting tossed away like a fly. "Gaonoir!!" he mumbles, before adding, "Watch out!".

He tries the best defensive thing he can pull, one card slash, "Gallantmon!, Aegis!" he barks, a large round shield realizing in front of him. It is mostly silver, with a gold border, written in digimon script all around the borer, and sun design built with red and golden triangles. Aegis.png . He jumps up, catching the closest of the red bolts.

The shield seems to work, in that he is not inmediatly destroyed in a red haze, but the impact still sends him flying back, the shield dropping from his hands and vanishing moments later. He is sore, but will be ok.

Neuroi Girl has posed:
Evangeline realizes she didn't return Alden's greeting, and so after her initial beam attack she raises an arm to wave to Alden. "...hello again, Alden..." she says once the Wendimon are down.

Then, the Cherubimon appears. That dark voice brings Evangeline to a stop mid air, floating just above Alden and Erika. As the lightning starts up, she stays positioned over Erika so she can deflect any lightning that might threaten the human after Alden is knocked back. A blue shield formed out of hexagonal energy segments flares everytime Evangeline is hit by a demonic lightning bolt, but despite the attacks Evangeline refuses to move. "...you are a bad digimon..." she says in that soft voice of hers, then she raises her arms again. That sinister red glow returns. It grows quickly, intensifying until the glow has formed an orb almost as large as Eva.

Then, she fires. A beam as tall as Evangeline shoots out at Cherubimon. Evangeline aims at the giant evil bunny's chest, and just like with her smaller beams it explodes upon impact. One long, huge, continuous exlosion. "...leave now...or you will be destroyed..."

Taro (399) has posed:
Taro winces as one of the lightning bolts strikes far too close for comfort, the residual static spiderweb-arcing across his armor and causing his hair stand on end. Probably a wise choice that he didn't take to the air during the skirmish.
He turns and looks up in the direction of the booming his voice, his usual faint frown furrowing deeper. Under other circumstances, the source of that voice could be seen as comical, but the malace on his(?) face spoils any illusion that he's here for good reasons.
Unlike Gaonoir, he doesn't leap immediately into the fray, though he keeps his beam sabre at the ready. "Sitta!" he calls, and nods toward Cherubimon.
'On it, Em!' the cyber-elf warbles in an electronic voice. 'Activating ORBIT system! Activating alteration algorithms!' And then it zips through the air, spinning upward to try and strike the digimon overlord..and perhaps right through him.
In all honesty, that this could even work is merely hypthesis, based upon cyber-elves and digmon both being living data. If they can in fact interact, the little 'elf attempts to 'underclock' Cherubimon, to slow his speed and movements.

Rebound (750) has posed:
The guys they're beating up, this seems like a simple enough fight. But they did warn the guys were working with a big boss. And the boss finally shows, "Hey!" She turns around when the big bad makes his appearance, she turns to face off with him, only to have a massive bolt of red lightning strike out across the distance between them.

She brings her gauntlets up to try to defend, and ends up getting shocked for her effort. She ends up thrown to the ground by the force of it, winding up face down for a few moments as the electricity shocks across her body a few times. She hasn't gotten back up yet because that hurt like hell.

Beelzebumon (132) has posed:
Lightning crashes and blasts of energy fly back and forth, lightning up the sky and shuddering the forests with the din of combat... and yet even amidst this absolute chaos, another sound can be heard.

The sound of laughter, and clapping.

"Hahahahahahahaha! Oh man, what a show! Bravo! Bravo!"

The voice, familiar to that of both Cheribimon and Gaonoir echoes throughout the clearing as a dark figure emerges from the underbrush, striding confidently onto the battlefield.

"I haven't seen you in a long time, Cherubimon... not since the Big Breakup of the Demon Lords following the escape from the old world. So tell me Cherubimon..."

And then Beelzebumon fixes the fallen angel with a deadly stare and a wicked smirk, "You still doing Leviamon's dirty work, or are you your own Mon now?"

Gaonoir has posed:
For the briefest of moments there's a flinch from Cheribumon when he notices the shield Alden somehow summons to shield himself from lightning. Is that... but then the shield is dropped and gone. Some how a proximity? Digimon can do that? Mimic a Royal Knight's weapon?!

He doesn't get long to mull over the fact though as the cyber-fairy flits towards him. He swats at it by shaking his head and snapping an ear, but the tiny creature easily slips past and briefly through him. The resulting disruption is just long enough for the massive exploding laser to slam into his chest, causing him to stagger back a few steps as the explosions blast through the air, catching himself with one massive hand.

Then -that- voice. A sour glare is twisted in the direction of the laughter. "Beelzebumon?! So Lucemon didn't have you deleted for telling him off after all." With a growl he pushes himself back up. "And that's none of your business!"

But his attention diverted to Beelzebumon, he doesn't see the cabin remains exploding apart as Gaonoir rockets back out of them. "KNUCKLE CRUSHER!" There's a resounding crash as his Digitron charged fist slams into the giant fallen angel-bunny's cheek and rocking him backwards again.

"As if Yggdrassil's mutt wasn't bad enough!" sneers Cherubimon as he straightens himself back up.

"Why?" Gaonoir barks as he pulls back into a hover. "Why did you destroy those villages? Why destroy this place, what is here you or your master could want?!"

"Why?" Cherubimon replies as he looms up to the smaller cyber-wolf. "Don't you feel it? The more energy I can scare out of these people, the bigger I make my storm. Eventually I will tear a hole back home, and give my arrogant brother what he deserves! Your little villages? Who cares. The destruction fed Leviamon's desires! As for you..."

Even with the cyber-fairy's slowing he's quick enough to snatch Gaonoir right out of the air. "I can use the snack!" And lobs the digmon right into his massive maw!

"GAONOIR!" She knows she was told to stay back, but Erika can't just stand by. "You.. you big monster! You can't just go destroying things and trying to eat people for your own desires!" She clutchs the digivice close to her chest, somewhere between fear and anger. Com'n Gaonoir, you're stronger than that. "DON'T GIVE UP! DON'T LET HIM WIN!"

It's possibly overlooked in the ensuring intensity, but the digivice in her hands starts to pulse and glow....

Beelzebumon (132) has posed:
A laugh escapes from Beelzebumon's lips as he watches Cherubimon's reaction, "God, I just love doing that to people... its so much fun to be able to step into a room and have the host spit up his drink at the sight of you..." He smirks as he strolls forward casually, then stops for a moment as Gaonoir ends up getting eaten in one bite.

Now normally, he wouldn't give two shits about the shadowmutt, but Erika's reaction in response to this event draws his attention, and he looks over at her.

     Then he looks at cherubimon.

Then back at her and the glowing device in her hand.

     Then back at Cherubimon again.

Finally, he just bursts out laughing and slaps his knee, "Oh god! /Really?/ This is just too fucking perfect! I am going to have so much fun ribbing that mutt over this..." Then he looks up and sighs as he looks at Cherubimon, "Though I suppose that means I'll have to save his furry ass. Can't mock him if he's dead..."

And then there's suddenly a blurr of movement as the Ultimate level Digimon disappears momentarily from the spot he was standing, before reappearing directly in front of Cherubimon with his fist drawn back.

     "Bad rabbit!"

And then he punches Cherubimon full in the gut, "You'll make--" and again, "- yourself sick--" and again, "- eating junkfood!"

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden quickly raises back on his feet and dashes back to Erika while the giant digimon is distracted. "Quick, toss me the D-arc back!" he asks Katze. He has enough time to see Gaonoir being grabbed and tossed into the that big snout. He frantically grabs two cards, that he uses in swift sucession. "Devil chip!", "Warp digivolve!" His body begins to glow brightly again, purple aura mixing with the normal, lighter colors, once again evolving to his strongest (Ultimate, or mega, depending on language).

The metal Garurumon appears as the previous form explodes, the dark purplish aura around him still. He looks somewhat out of it, eyes glowing as he glares at Cherubimon, "You will regret that.". The quadruped robot wolf shifts his stance a bit, a series of clickss coming from his form as several hidden missile ports open across his form. "Giga Destruction!". A barrage of missiles emerge from across his body, zooming to the large digimon, and landing across the evil bunny's form, covering him in powerful explosions. The attack lasts only a few moments, ending by the time Beelzebumon jumps in to give Cherubimon a piece of his mind apparently. Alden just... watches, trying to gauge the damage done.

Taro (399) has posed:
The cyber-elf is much dimmer now as it does its best to ger out of harm's way, fluttering a drunken path past Alden and in the direction of Erika and Katze. '...whew...'
Taro gives Beelzebumon a sidelong glance as the digimon brawler announces his arrival - haven't seem him in a while - but is not going to complain. Particularly if he's going to take on their opponent instead of him and his allies this time around.
Then, Gaonoir is snatched and lobbed to be gobbled up like a piece of candy. He's too far back to do anything to stop this, let alone rescue. No, he'll take advantage of this distraction. He raises his right arm, the top of his armored gauntlet retracting to reveal the barrel of a heavy plasma blaster. Which he proceeds to fire at Cherubimon, though he aims the plasma bolts low just in case someone else can do something for their about to be devoured ally.
He's considerably less concerned if Beelzebumon becomes a victim of his friendly fire.

Neuroi Girl has posed:
Evangeline has to take a break after firing that huge beam. She just floats there above Erika for a few moments. Which gives her plenty of time to listen to Beelzebumon and watch the others display their skills. She keeps protecting Erika from lightning strikes if needed. She also takes the time to consider her strategy. She runs into this problem quite often. She is a hard-hitting ranged specialist, so having allies that prefer to move in and punch things is always a bit of a hiccup in her usual style of attack.

When she recovers enough energy, Evangeline goes on the attack again. She looks toward Erika, then nods her head. "...we will rescue Gaonoir..." she says in that soft voice of hers before raising her arms again. This time, instead of a solid beam, Evangeline fires shots similar to AA-gun fire. Rapid-fired bolts of red energy are fired wherever there is a clear opening. "...it is not nice to eat people..." she says as she fires, aiming mostly at Cherubimon's belly. She is hoping that enough pain there and the big digimon will spit out their gulped down comrade.

Gaonoir has posed:
Cherubimon is honestly surprised that Beelzebumon attacked him, hunching over and reeling as the fist slams into his gut, eyes widening. "Why are you attacking ME?!" he manages to weeze out. "I could rip a way for us both to go home!" But before he can debate that farther, he gets bombarded more. Plasma blasts and missiles pummel the demonic rabbits form, leaving wounds that look like dribbling melted rubber oozing around the hints of a digital lacette beneath. Neouri lasers slice across his arms, leaving gouges of the same effect.

Despite the battering he still manages to stagger to his feet. Raises both hands over his head and the stormclouds thoom in response. "Fine then! I'll destroy you all! TERMINAL JUDG--" But then Cherubimon stops, his expression distorting as his face screws up. Mouth clenching together as he makes a gurgling noise as spasms, looking all the world for a cat about to hack up the biggest hairball ever. What appears to be flashes of energy streams briefly between his lips. Until he lurchs back, and something almost like darkness erupts out as his maw is blown open from the inside. As Cherubimon staggers backwards from possibly the worst heartburn ever something bolts from the darkness that splayed from within.

The bolt of dark energy drops to the ground to land next to Erika, swirling around and then away to congeal into a shadowy cape behind the tall bipedal form. Plates of black and purple armor cover most of his form, particularly the broad vambraces with golden shield-like decorations upon them. Golden eyes through slots on an angular helmet that resembles a wolf head. The forward pointing oblong shape of his chest armor also mimics a wolf, with a jagged seam that seems to allude to a mouth, glowing ports like eyes, and a nose on the end.

That said nose bears a symbol similar to the Digital Hazard, likely only Beelzebumon and maybe Alden would notice.

"... Gaonoir?" Erika looks up, eyes wide. "You... wait, you said Machgaogamon was only your Perfect stage. Did.. you evolve again?!"
"Somehow," the shadowdog's voice was reconizable, if not a bit deeper and more reverbrant now. "Neither of us giving up might have something to do about it." The cape swished as he turned back towards the monsterous digimon, clenching fists beneath the guards. Which caused a trio of blades glowing with dark auras to extend out of them. "First, we've got some business to finish." Air wished around him as Gaonoir kicked off the ground, now able to fly even without the jet-pack.

Erika glances back down at the D-Port's display as it brought up his new statistical display. "Umbra Gaogamon. Ultimate level Beast Knight digimon." Then back up to the fight. "He really did become a knight."

"Because a knight needs something to fight for. To stand for." Gaonoir comes to a pause in the air. "Maybe some day our Digital World will be better... But for now, this is our world. And some bitter bum bunny is not going to ruin it!" Gaonoir dives back towards Cherubimon, his claws glowing brightly as he makes a massive downward slash slung with his speed down Cherubimon's front.

"DIVIDE BY ZERO!"

The name of the attack might have something to do with the way the glowing slice left in his wake explodes with the crackling scattering of bites and motes that usually appear to represent a manifestation of digital medias, as the attack rips into Cherubimon's very data. The foul rabbit screechs as he is bowled over by the attack, his form crackling like it's struggling to hold together. He's trying to get up, but that cyber-fairy's effect is still slogging his movements. Though as he starts to stand, the glow can be seen within the massive frontal rip Gaonoir made, a gap through his body to the very digital code of his being.

"He's still vulnerable!" Erika uses the hand holding her device to point at the massive would. "SHOOT THE CORE!" Then starts giggling to herself. "Always wanted to say that."

Alden (930) has posed:
Alden is somewhat... out of it, he can recognize friends, his enemy, and the situation, but until the effect of the devil chip fades, he is pretty much focused on finish the large bunny. He will celebrate very, very soon. He rushes closer, his muzzle glowing brightly, "Cocytus Breath!", his mouth opening as a white beam as large as himself shoots out, the edges emiting white mist and leaving ice shards forming on it's path. The beam flash freezes on contact, and on most weaker digimon, should be enough to stop vital functions... he keeps the beam, trying to freeze the bunny's very core, or at least try to hold him in place.

The attack lasts several moments, until the purple glow around him fades, the attack halting inmediatly, with the robot wolf collapsing, followed by him devolving to gabumon in a burst of voxels. "Must... stop using that card...".

Taro (399) has posed:
Taro stops firing, his eyebrows arcing as his arm lowers slightly, temporarily forgetting the battle upon witnessing that transformation. "Impressive," he breathes.
Learning more about these unusual fellow digital lifeforms again ticks higher on the Bishop Engineer's list of priorities.
Making sure he and his current allies alive (or most of them anyway) remains a higher priority, however, and to that end he raises his plasma blaster again and resumes firing. Still, that he couldn't simply drop everything to take better sensor readings of this entire event is regrettable.

Beelzebumon (132) has posed:
Beelzebumon smirks as he pauses for a moment in his brutal punching of Cherubimon's gut and looks up at the fallen angel, "And pass up the chance to fuck with that overgrown crocodile? Clearly you don't know me as well as I thought you did..." Then he glances behind him as everyone else lines up their shots, before delivering one final swift kick in the groin before backflipping away from the incoming attacks.

With a loud thump, he comes down beside Erika and flashes her a grin, before looking back at the jesterbunny as he starts to regurgitate, "What's the matter Cherubimon? You look sick... maybe it's something you ate.

Then when Gaonoir gets thrown up and makes his grand re-entrance, the Demon Lord makes a disgusted face, "Eeeew, talk about your hairballs..." He turns towards Gaonoir and flashes him a grin, "You look good for something coughed up by a demonic bunny." Then a pause just dripping with amusement, "I see you got yourself a pet..."

Then after some not so friendly banter, Beelzebumon pulls out his Berenjena Shotguns and levels them at Cherubimon, as the smirk plastered on his face turns absolutely savage.

     "Double Impact."

And then with a thunderous roar, his beloved weapons spit fire and lead.

Neuroi Girl has posed:
Shoot the core. As Evangeline charges another beam, she ponders how that phrase became so common in so many worlds. She knows how it came to pass on her world, but what are the chances that it is such a well-known phrase in so many others?

Whatever the answer, Evangeline charges up fully again. When Gaonoir lands nearby, she nods lightly. "...good work..." Then, she charges in toward Cherubimon. She gets into a reasonable distance before she thrusts her arms forward and that massive sinister red glow lances forward again, aimed right at that gap in Cherubimon. His data will soon be erased, if she has anything to do with it!

Hopefully no one else gets in the path of her beam, because she sustains it for several seconds, again producing a constant explosion as the powerful red beam pummels Cherubimon.

Gaonoir has posed:
"Who you calling a pet?!" Erika of all people is the one to retort to Beelzebumon.. and a moment later sems to realize what she did, because she meeps softly and steps back. Clearly she's been told-slash-warned of the Demon Lord of Gluttony by Gaonoir. Because a moment later that spark of an outburst is gone as she backsteps with wide eyes again. "I mean, we're -partners-."

The laser cannon of ice from Alden literally freezes Cherubimon to the core. Not that the frost over lasts for long as Taro fires plasma into it. Followed by screaming cry of demonic shotguns as Beelzebumon pumps rounds of unholy fire into the accumilating onslaught.

"Your still an ass I see," Gaonoir grunts at Beelzebumon. "But at least you are marginably tolerable." Which is possibly just as good as insulting him back, considering the pride Beelzy takes in pissing people off.

The cloak flicks around dramatically as Gaonoir shifts his stance to brace himself. Flexing arms at his sides, the warblades retract. And instead the front of his chest armor opens up, making the wolfhead design match even more when the opening looks like a fanged maw. Though wolf maws don't typically have a cannon revealed inside of them. Motes of purple and black energy are already collecting and crackling around the exposed barrel.

"Lunar Eclipse CANNON!"

A massive beam of black and purple erupts from the exposed weapon with a booming roar. Clearly the hazard sign on the 'nose' was because of that. Or the fact that the cannon draws power directly from the Dark Digiton Gaonoir's digicode is infused with. The massive beam slams into Cherubimon at the same time as Evangeline's does, seeming to briefly merge as one before erupting out the other side. The fallen angel bunny lets out one more scream of frustration, before being engulfed in the resulting explosion. Voxel motes scatter in all directions with the force of the blast.

"WYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" a tiny brown vagely rabbit-like creature can be heard screaming as he's hurtled out of the forest and well over the horizon, disappearing in a twinkle. All the damage to his digicode and built up energy blasted him right out of that super powerful Ultimate stage.

Which Cherubimon blown away, the freakish storm overhead starts to break apart, clearing the late night sky.

Beelzebumon (132) has posed:
"Damn right I am," replies Beelzebumon with a smirk, before twirling his shotguns around as he moves to holster them, then watches as Cherubimon get blasted off into the distance, "Never liked him anyway... now then..." He turns towards Erika and bends down, staring her right in the eye with intense scrutiny.

"So, you're Gaonoir's partner, huh?" He glares at her intensely--

And then abruptly ruffles her head as he stands up straight and walks past her, "Make sure he's housebroken, and keep him on a short leash, will ya? I'd hate to have such a fun chewtoy break on me before I've had my fun..."

Then without even looking back, he throws Gaonoir a very rude salute, "Later Shadowmutt!" Then he tenses his legs and leaps away into the forest.

Neuroi Girl has posed:
Evangeline watches the small bunny being blown over the horizon, then floats back over to Erika and Gaonoir once the giant digimon is destroyed. "...enemy destroyed..." she reports in her near monotone, soft voice. She bows at the waist politely, then turns to look over the destroyed camp. "...if there are more enemy troops in the area...I will help clear them out..." she says, then looks back to the pair. "...are you two alright...?"

Gaonoir has posed:
Erika lets out a yelp... even as it's only a ruffle to the hair that Beelzebumon gives her before vaulting off. She mutters a bit as she straightens her glasses out afterwards. "He is kind of a jerk, isn't he."

"Yeah... but at least he helped." With the vile creature gone Gaonoir huffs, the armor of the Beast Knight disappearing in a brief burst of pixilated energy as he devolves, and collapses on his back in his normal dog-like form. "That.. was intense. I'm going to need a few mome--ack!"

He doesn't get a chance to finish before Erika scoops him up into a hug. "That was so awesome! I thought having my own monster was cool, but now I have my own knight~!"

"Your own? What happened to partners?!" Though for once, Gaonoir doesn't really struggle out of it. It's become clear how important this crazy girl was to have around now. He does manage to turn in Evangeline's direction though. "It's gonna be a while before I have the energy to evolve again. If you could fly over the forest and make sure there's no other Wendimon left around, that'd be good."

Neuroi Girl has posed:
Evangeline nods lightly, then reaches out to pet Gaonoir gently before she floats away. "...I will patrol the forest perimeter..." she says, then she flies off in a circular patrol pattern. Any bad digimon she finds are quickly dealt with. Unless of course another boss digimon show up. Evangeline might be pretty strong, but taking on another boss alone probably wouldn't end well. Once she is sure the perimeter is safe, she waves to Gaonoir and Erika, then heads for the warpgate and back to her own world. She has patrols to do there, too.
