Cast of Characters: 27, 516

Ferham (516) has posed:
It's a rather typical night out here in New York. You got the nightlife, people returning home busily crowding the streets with cars and people, no sewer dwelling post-adolescent mutants out at this hour, it would appear, anyway. Or in this area this part of the 'verse was formed from. Probably off fighting ninjas somewhere else. No such chicanery like that out here, unfortunately, though there does appear to be a certain femmebot... though she doesn't seem to be getting in on the night life at the moment, it's mainly just her, and she seems to be scanning the streets from a rooftop for something... or someone.

Jonothon Starsmore (27) has posed:
Roofs seem to be a common congregating place for a lot of people. Especially in a city as massive as New York, where the rooftops seem like they're a whole different world apart from the throngs of people on the ground.

Tonight the roofs play host not only to Ferham, it seems, but to a musician. The wind carries the sound of an electric guitar in the distance. Those who know the song will recognize it-- it's the guitar track to the Animals' 'House of the Rising Sun'. When it's only the guitar track and being carried on the wind like that, it sounds almost creepy...

Ferham (516) has posed:
There is a robot that spots Jon when he's up there strumming away, however fortunately for him it's not some magenta and purple sentinel--whoever designed that color scheme anyway? Okay, so maybe Magneto had the biggest most fabulous flowing purple cape of them all, that still didn't seem to excuse that--no, this particular robot is of the feminine variety. Particularly, Ferham. Using her whip, she swings herself up and onto a nearby streetlight, before flipping through the air, following the source of that music.

There is the clicking of heeled boots on the edge of the rooftop, Fer standing there and pausing to listen to the guitar player. "Strange, didn't think this was one of the New Yorks with Ninjas in it," she idly points to his turtleneck/ninja facemask.

Jonothon Starsmore (27) has posed:
Jonothon sits on the roof in a folding chair, leaning back on the back legs of the chair almost leisurely. One booted foot is propped up on his amplifier as he plucked out the notes on the electric guitar resting against his torso almost lazily. Still wearing all-black, indeed with a long strip of clothe wrapped around the lower part of his face.

He's not alone, either. On the other side of the amplifier he has a tiny companion robot. One of the popular type known as 'Shinki' in the Multiverse, she is painted as a dark-skinned, white-haired girl with small black earlike projections poking out of her hair. She almost looks like a biker, with the spiked dog-collar like thing around her neck. She sits tailor style on the other side of the amplifier as his foot is propped on, swaying along with his music.

In fact it's her that notices Ferham first. But before she can speak up Ferham does. Jono is startled by her voice and scrambles to sit properly in the chair, the notes coming to an abrupt halt as he turns, looking at her with surprise. He blinks at her words, almost as if they needed a moment to register. Once they do, he reaches up and rubs the back of his head. "Eh... I'm not a ninja. Hidin' some pretty serious scars is all." Totally not a lie there. It's not completely the truth but it's not a lie either.

Couple things to be noted... his voice isn't muffled by the cloth somehow. Heck it doesn't look like his mouth is even MOVING when he talks! Which is actually confirmed by the fact that the voice isn't audible. Audio sensors are completely blank. But he made himself understood.

Ferham (516) has posed:
Ferham however is surprised to learn that the turtlenecked ninja guitar man is not alone, in fact there's already a femmebot there, another rooster in the henhouse, one might say! Taking that whip of hers she pulls it taught in front of her, letting the length of it slide past her opposite hand and retract it into the handle. She's standing there looking down at him with her hands on her hips, and while she's not trying to be especially coy the elevation of which she's standing /does/ give him an awesome worms eye view of those legs and hips.

"Serious scars hmm?" she raised a brow at the mention of that, and the fact his mouth wasn't actually moving when he spoke, something subtle, sure, but she scrutinized things carefully. Usually. Add on the fact he didn't seem to be communicating through sonic vibration, well... that was strange as well. "Some kind of extra sensory communication?"

Jonothon Starsmore (27) has posed:
Jono seems to get only more sheepish as Ferham shifts. Enough to avert his eyes back to his guitar to make a show of tuning it. Thank God he doesn't blush anymore. The tiny robot girl with him lifts into the air briefly so that she can perch on his shoulder to look at Ferham. "Oh hi there! You aren't about to attack us for being noisy, are you?"

At that Jono looks to the Shinki. "I'm sure she's not." Looking to Ferham, "I'm sorry if I disturbed yer ma'am. I'll move somewhere else ter practice." That's quite an accent there... Cockney? Liverpudlian? Something of the sort. It's a little muddled though. The question gets a nod. He raises a hand to tap at his temple. "They tell me it's telepathic. Don't worry though. I can't read minds. I'm set on 'send only' I s'pose."

Ferham (516) has posed:
"No, not going to attack anyone for no reason, noisy or not," Ferham shook her head. "If I did that to everyone I thought was making too much noise, well," she shrugged, leaving that at that. Stepping down with a click of her heeled boots, she looked around, and nodded to the shinki, then to him, perceiving both as individuals, not seeing the dark-skinned shinki as just a piece of tech or some kind of toy. No, she gave it the same amount of scrutiny as she did him.

"If you're able to get in my head, I'd find that sincerely fascinating, though it might not be a place you'd want to go," she grinned with a little wave and sat down on the edge of the roof railing instead, idly crossing her legs. Those long wings of hers angle up and out of her way behind her, allowing her to lean back. "Interesting ability you have there, is that your only trick?" she lightly smiled.

Jonothon Starsmore (27) has posed:
"Oh good," the Shinki said. "That'd be a bad fight. Aibou's guitar would get broken."

Jono looks at the Shinki with a sidelong look. "...Gee thanks, luv." The note of sarcasm is evident. "My condition takes backseat to me guitar?"

"No I'm just sure you wouldn't get hurt!"

In response, Jono turns his eyes skyward and shakes his head, shoulders slumping in a gesture much like a sigh. But no air comes out. That'd be hard considering he has no lungs.

"Anyway." This to Ferham. "Yeah I don't relish the thought 'o gettin' inter people's heads. I feel sorry for those who can." He stands and then nods his head politely to her. "Name's Jono." Indicating his shoulder-sitting Shinki, "This is Gabby."

"MMS Type Hellhound Gabrine!" the Shinki proclaims, hand in the air. "Gaaaoooo~!"

Jono gives the Shinki a look. Then looking back to Ferham, "Pleased ter meet'cher."

Ferham (516) has posed:
"Aibou? that's an... interesting title," she grinned a little as she looked from between the mutant and the shinki, though she didn't seem to be judging anyone here. I mean, she was a pretty colorful sort herself. "Pleasure to meet you, I'm Ferham, I'm a robot too, like Gabby here, just a bit... differently sized," she nodded matter of factly, then paid more attention to the shinki now as she stated her model and make, the femmebot clearly a tad more interested in that than the man's telepathy. Hey, shinki and other robotic stuff were relevant to Fer's interests.

"Hellhound, huh? I think I've heard that model name before," she giggles as she hears the small shinki girl give that little roar there. Well, big things came in small packages, the shinki were proof of that. "Well, I'd love to sit here 'hobknobbing' all night as the human's say, but I fear I must fly now, it was a pleasure meeting you both," she gave a bow to the shinki and the mutant. "I hope I can see you both again," she gave a little wave, her wings unfolding and the femmebot literally flying off. Whoosh. Oh well, least no explosions were caused today.
