"Well that was fun," the small girl remarks to herself, settling on the edge of the roof. 'Kiyoko' sighs, easing back and resting her body. The black ichor was almost gone, and the injuries had already started to knit together... there had been some close calls, there, where her lack of human blood had almost been revealed. In the midst of battle, though, that was difficult to see. And now she'd gotten to see some truly deep and profound emotion. Mostly all the 'superior' Magical Girls suffering.

Shadenfreude.

The girl pauses, fishing into her bag to lift out the spiky, glimmering sphere of black that she'd snatched from the smoke. She turns it over in her hand a few times. "Such a little thing, and so much fuss..."

Kiyoko knew what would happen now. Without these, Kimiko would inevitably either die... or turn into another Witch. Hopefully the latter, because that would allow Kiyoko to show off all her new moves even more, and maybe she could even watch Himei suffer again. The girl was really good at that, suffering. Sometimes Kiyoko wondered how far she could be pushed.

The Grief Seed bobs in the air as Kiyoko tosses it up and down, pondering the skyline. With an easy pitch, the dark gem goes sailing out into the distance, to embed somewhere else in Mitakihara. Maybe that one, too, would once again hatch into a new Witch. Wouldn't that be interesting? "Wonder if I could depopulate the entire city of Puella Magi before Kyubey makes more...?"

Idle pondering aside, she really couldn't stay. The way Homura's gem had reacted... there was a decent chance some Puella would hunt HER if she stuck around. Sigh. How she longed to go to Yami-Gaia, but her purpose was not yet complete. She needed to stir up more trouble before she was wanted back. Maybe make some more Elites.

Hmm. Tonight there were a number of candidates, weren't there?
