Ayako Hasekawa     The new moon has made Spring darker than usual tonight. However, the cherry blossoms in Spring are giving off an extreme abundance of petals tonight! Perhaps said trees are excited about the coming of spring outside of the region of eternal spring? What light illuminates Spring shines beautifully on the falling petals, putting on quite a show for those that happen to like cherry blossoms. Speaking of light, a pale blue one can be seen right off the central road through Spring.

As one would approach, the sources of the pale blue light are small pale blue flames that are floating in the air around the fortune telling setting that Ayako is fond of. The water spirit herself is dressed in her deep blue fortune telling clothing and sitting on a black lacquered chair with soft dark blue cushions on it. A table with a tablecloth of the same dark blue embroidered with midnight blue roses is in front of her along with an empty chair that mirrors the one Ayako is sitting on. Ayako's chair however, has several extra pillows of varying blue colors on it. Underneath it all is a fluffy cloth mat of sky blue decorated with dark blue roses that has several cherry blossom petals already on it. The abundance of falling cherry blossoms combined with the blue light has given the scene an almost wintery quality despite being in Spring.

Ayako hums a soft song to herself as she shuffles the deck of tarot cards in her hands. "Hmm... Hmm.... Hmmmm!" She smiles softly to herself, "I wonder... who will come tonight?"
Mizuki     Mizuki might've asked Ayako where she did these tarot readings, once. Or maybe not. Either way, she's here now, quietly observing the column of blue light with her parasol raised, eyes clear, and her entire being almost unnervingly placid.

It would be some time yet before she would actually approach Ayako, though -- she would take pains to make her entrance perfect, as usual. On this day, in this setting, part of that ideal is surprise, which Mizuki has seen fit to concoct to the greatest extent that her wit will allow. Now it may not exactly be difficult to get the jump on someone when you can sneak through temporal channels to which most are blind, or become translucent on a whim, but she will still leave nothing to chance. Once, spontaneity was her style, but now? Not so, not so.

She would creep closer, step by step, inch by inch. At one point she is so fixated on maintaining the element of surprise that she nearly trips on a rock beneath her foot. She would barely stifle the noise that attempts to sneak out of her mouth, swiveling her head around to confirm she was not seen before, with a sigh of relief, continuing on around a corner. She would peek out from the opposite side of a small hill to get a final glimpse at the stage she's entering, nod to herself, and step out.

Now, of course, this is the only part that any other living soul is likely to see:

Mizuki would emerge several steps behind Ayako's shoulder, peering over to watch as she shuffles her cards. As subtly and unceremoniously as possible, she would softly intone, "Quite a lovely day and place you've chosen to conduct this, Miss Ayako." Mysterious enough? Not mysterious enough? Bah, she'll let her reaction be the judge. "Though if you do not expect to be too terribly busy, I might like to hear your take on my fate before any others arrive. Would that be possible?" Despite the mischief, it's a calm, warm sort of smile she wears on her face. A friendly one, and one that suggests a certain eagerness for things yet come. Things that the water spirit may yet elucidate for her.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako continues to absentmindedly shuffle the deck of tarot cards on her sleeves. Yes, sleeves. Said sleeves are of course so long that they obscure her hands. But she has no trouble shuffling. She's had way too much practice doing this. Her amber gaze lazily glances about...

The shuffling pauses for just a moment when Mizuki emerges several steps behind Ayako's shoulder-but then swiftly resumes. And then the moment Mizuki would softly speak behind her be responded to by a light jump and a scrambling of her sleeves to keep from dropping the deck of cards. "Kyaaa!" Ayako quickly looks over her shoulder to look at Mizuki. "Mizuki! That scared me!" She giggles brightly and then nods her head slowly as she takes several deep breaths to calm herself. "Oh... certainly!" The deck of cards is placed on the table and Ayako gestures with her oversleeved hands towards it. "Please cut the deck for me." A soft smile crosses her face as she inclines her head to the side slightly. The deck of cards placed on the table... all of the cards are still straight. It's not jumbled up at all, nor did she drop any of the cards when startled. Was she really as surprised as she let off?
Mizuki     Either Ayako is capable of far greater feats of concentration than she let on, or that brief pause before Mizuki stepped up to her was an indication that she was aware of her before she made herself known. Even if she is quick to assume the latter, it doesn't damage her mood in the least; it created the atmosphere and earned the reaction that she was hoping for regardless, so Mizuki is wholly satisfied. Her own grin would only widen further with Ayako's, though, evening out again only when she is asked to cut the deck. "Ah, yes." She would have a seat on the opposite side of Ayako should she find a place to rest there, taking the deck into her hand and studying it intently.

She's obviously going to have to work harder than she has been if she's going to impress someone so versed in the usage of cards, so this next maneuver involves a bit more... flair. She would begin the cut as normal, exchanging the places of several small group of cards, tapping them together on the desk, and letting them fall down together as though they had come together to make a small flipbook, though after one or two obeisances her gestures would begin to quicken. She would complete two more patterns of splits in a gradually quickening rhythm, each time faster than the last until her hands are moving far too quickly for either Ayako or the lady herself to trace the movements. She continues on in this fashion for several moments before, suddenly, she would set the whole group of them back down in front of Ayako with the application of some mild force. She would quickly hide her hands afterwards which, should a keen eye have observed them, would have been revealed to be dyed the telltale monochrome of temporal interference.

After this, the lady would stare for a few moments more. "... ah. Terribly sorry, but am -I- supposed to draw a card, here? Or do you deal them to me? I'm woefully unfamiliar with tarot. Apologies." Sweatdrop! Or some approximation thereof.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako blinks her eyes slowly as she watches Mizuki cut the deck. And then again, and then shuffling them, and then again, and aga-well! She claps her sleeves together happily. There's not much sound because of cloth on cloth, but still, she's obviously clapping. "Oh oh... how wonderful, Mizuki!" She giggles brightly upon the light impact of the deck being placed in front of her and then nods her head once. "Now? Now I can tell your fortune."

Ayako leans forward and gently takes the deck of cards. A deep breath follows... and her expression becomes solemn. It seems she takes this seriously. "Well then." She deals five cards out in a cross in front of Mizuki. "These five cards will be your fortune. First... we begin with the past." Her oversleeved hand reaches for the card closest to Mizuki and flips it over. Death, upright. "Hmm... the ending of something? Or perhaps a large change?"
Mizuki     A hand would move to cover Mizuki's mouth, here, fingers rapping against her right cheek. Her curiosity seems piqued as soon as the cards are set down in that ~ particular ~ pattern, and she would suddenly seem to share Ayako's focused demeanor. She would nod with each new bit of information, carefully fixing her gaze on Ayako's hand, when... the card nearest her flips! It's evident after but a glance what the figure on that card portends, and... well. She's not surprised Ayako's clarification.

"Hmm." Her hand would fall to her lap. "How apt. Changes do certainly loom on my horizon, though it might be helpful to see just how those differences might manifest. Though I suppose tarot encompasses that as well, certainly."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako thinks to herself for a moment and then nods her head slowly. "Hmm... well, I wonder what the present card has to say..." Her sleeve reaches over and flips the card on the left side of the cross over. Strength, upside-down. "Hmmm...? Losing control to your impulses, desires, and pride."

Ayako pauses for a moment as she glances at the past and present cards. "Hmm... I guess what is happening in your world definitely counts as a sudden change... but..." Her amber eyes look into Mizuki's own. "Please remember that the things that drive you only nudge you forwards. They don't control you."
Mizuki     Mizuki's eyes would widen in a slight but meaningful way when she clarifies the next card, her cheek gingerly, gradually coming to rest against a balled fist. Idly, she would echo, "Impulses and desires, hmm? Those are always a concern. Although..." Her eyes shut a moment. "... I'm less clear on the implications of the 'pride' aspect. Never have I felt more distant from feelings of pride. Still, it may hint instead at some less than obvious incarnation of that feeling. Some other stubbornness that I've yet overlooked. I shall have to think on this."

Her eyes would open in time to notice Ayako's stare, and to her words of caution she would give another nod. "Mmm. It would do to remember that, I suppose, yes. You may not expect it of one so privileged as I happen to be, but I... quite often become caught up in flights of fancy, whirlwinds of want..." She would slowly nod to herself. "It might do to reel some of that in in preparation for the changes yet to come. Perhaps that is what it is saying."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles softly at Mizuki and nods her head slowly. "If this fortune helps you to reflect, then I'm glad you came tonight." Her sleeve reaches over to the card on the right side of the cross. "This card represents the immediate future." The Hierophant, upright. "Hmm... religion? No. That doesn't make sense in this context... perhaps the underlying meaning instead..." Her amber gaze moves upwards for a moment... and then she nods her head once. "Soon, you will come to a situation where you must reflect on your understanding of the world, why you do the things you do... and this card is also a warning to watch out for hypocrisy."
Mizuki     Mizuki closes her eyes again, slowly beginning to smile. She would nod approvingly with Ayako's interpretation, though as soon as she has finished, she would offer some input of her own. "Perhaps religion does not make sense in and of itself, but I will admit that I at times lament the infinity of the realm in which we dwell. While it means possibility first and foremost, it can also conjure a void. Mental shutdowns of all sorts can occur when one is made to face the sheer innumerability of their choices. In my case, it can be a unique sort of torment to juggle all my potential contributions. To try to predict each outcome... it's unthinkable. Impossible for any being that lacks omniscience, and even then omniscience is a relative, nuanced term."

Her eyes would reopen. "I suppose what I mean to say is, there are times when I yearn for the... coherence, that belief in absolutes can bring. I could never internalize beliefs associated with religion, no, but this could well tie in with the prior card about desire. They may, collectively, be encouragement not to run away." She would allow for a brief pause and share another smile with the girl. "Ah, but you are the expert. Though I suppose that's the magic of this, really. It's like a game that mirrors that old saying -- 'play with the cards you are dealt'. Yes, play with those cards and use them to build a story around your current circumstances." She would nod to herself several times more. "Not to belittle any meaning and consequence this procedure may have, of course, but it is quite delightful. Ah, but do not allow me to stall you further."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako brings a sleeve up to cover her mouth as she giggles brightly. "Well, I happen to love the sheer variety of possibilities that are the result of simply what the Multiverse is. The unpredictability is just one thing I look forward to." She nods her head slowly. "It may just be a simple story. It might just be the rambling of a water spirit that's randomly flipping over cards. But, I look at it as a special medicine for the soul that tells my guests that their thoughts, their actions... definitely matter. And that someone is noticing~." A gentle and cheerful smile follows.

"Ah, true!" Ayako then glances at the card closest to her on the cross. "This card, represents the future." Her sleeve slowly turns over the card. The Fool, upright. "Ah. It seems you will find yourself reborn on a new journey. Which I always find to be a good thing. New experiences and growth." She smiles softly and nods her head as she glances to the card in the center of the cross that is still face down. "The only card left is that one. It is a card of guidance. But..." Ayako shakes her head slowly. "It can also lead you astray and it's advice can be misinterpreted. In the end, it's up to you if you wish to see what that card is or not."
Mizuki     Mizuki's warm smile from before would return with its full luster, her cheeks dying themselves a complementary rose hue. "If intent and belief indeed matter the most in our dealings with these cards, then certainly they could have no finer a wielder than you, Ayako. That sentiment makes this whole thing mean more than enough, regardless of its 'tangible relevance' or any other such nonsense." She would pause a moment before adding, somewhat more quietly, "Truly, you are such a warm-hearted sort. It does me such good to see you."

Mizuki would study the 'advice' card for several moments, clearly giving it some critical thought beforehand. Still, once she has had her time she would cave to the temptation. "Though it may be against what the prior cards have suggested to me, I must admit that curiosity is easily the largest of my many vices. I should like to see this suggestion, whatever form it may take." She would nod affirmatively. "Have at you."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako blushes lightly and her amber gaze moves off to the side for a moment. "I... eh heh... th-thank you, Mizuki." After a moment, she takes a deep breath and glances nervously at the face down card. "Well... you're always free to ignore it's advice, all the same."

She closes her eyes slowly and swallows. "Well... here goes then." Ayako's sleeve reaches over and flips over the center card. The High Priestess, upright. "Ah. Hmm... The advice is to trust your intuition and that love and your relationships will help you the most." She smiles softly. "That's quite a nice fortune that..."
Mizuki     Mizuki regards the card for a moment, again bobbing her head in time with Ayako's response before giving her own, final summary. "So I will face a change. It will test my self-control, and perhaps even my understanding of myself. It would do to be wary of hypocrisy within my own judgments, and to actively reflect upon each event that transpires. That which will help me most in compensating for my own failings and all these travails shall be my friends, and in spite of all that was said before, my intuition." She would give a finalizing nod. "I see, I see. Quite the tale. One that rings with quite a lot of familiarity, if I am to speak truthfully."

She would steeple her fingers, looking over each of the cards a final time. Death, Strength, Hierophant, Fool, Priestess. Somewhat jarringly, she would chime in again with the word 'Rebirth'. "Now that is a thing I feel has already begun to occur. I have felt quite a lot of change in myself of late. Perhaps this is simply what it means to acclimate to the Multiverse, but I feel... I feel it's more than that. I feel that all of this will ultimately bring me closer to being the person whom I wish to be: one who may serve as a warden of memory, of life, and of peace within melancholy." She would shake her head vaguely, here. "There is a magic in these cards. And if that magic does indeed come from our discourse of their ramifications, then that certainly makes them no less so."

After some moments, she would stand, offering the water spirit a curtsy. "Thank you, Ayako. I look forward to seeing the fate that these cards foretell of come into being." In her free hand Mizuki would summon Aelinos, her rapier, cleaving a space in the sky before her and placing a foot upon its precipice. "But for now, I trust you've other futures to peer in to. I wish you luck, and bid you vale." A smirk. "Farewell, in Latin." Assuming the other girl has no more to add, she would depart with a final nod, leaving the chair open for the next candidate.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles softly as she gathers her sleeves in front of herself. No really, the oversweeping cloth pair is almost tying itself in a knot in front of the bodice of her dress. "It is quite a tale, isn't it? The past, present, and future all come together. Of course, your own actions can always change the future, and so... I hope that you do become the person that you do wish to be, Mizuki!"

Ayako herself floats off of her chair and returns the curtsy. "You're very welcome, Mizuki." A soft smile follows, "Until we meet again!"

As Mizuki leaves, Ayako floats back onto her chair and shuffles the face up cards on the table back into the deck. "Hmm... I wonder who will come next?"
Snow White     It's a curious thing to stumble upon indeed. And one might wonder what the deputy mayor of Fabletown is doing in this place. Then again this isn't the first time Snow White has found herself in a forest on a stroll. As always she is nicely dressed, not a single hair out of place.

As she spots the setup that Ayako has put up she can't help but look curious, offering a polite smile at the water spirit where she is seated in her chair. "Good day. What are you doing out here on your own? And what is this?" Snow asks curiously as she looks down at the table. Are those cards?
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako continues to absendmindedly shuffle the deck of tarot cards. Oh? Someone is approaching? She smiles softly as her amber gaze moves towards Snow. Yes, she smiled before her eyes moved towards the new arrival. A bit eerie? Maybe. But Ayako looks far too honestly cheerful to let such a feeling persist for long. "Good evening!"

A bright giggle escapes her lips as the deck of tarot cards is placed onto the table. One sleeve taps her cheek-her way of pointing while her hands are obscured, it seems. "Oh, I'm just doing a little fortune telling. The New Moon made me feel so welcome, that I couldn't resist." Ayako floats off of her chair high enough to curtsy in mid-air in Snow's direction as she closes her eyes and bows her head.. "As for myself, I am Ayako Hasekawa, a water spirit. Please call me Ayako... would you like me to tell your fortune~?" A careful eye would notice something... off about the way her long blue skirt moves. Specifically, she has no legs, let alone feet.
Snow White     There's nothing outright sinister about this situation, Snow decides. And she has been enough sinister situations to know when to be cautious. The smile is genuine, as is the giggle. And this area itself does not make Snow too paranoid.

    "Fortune telling, you say?"

The strange girl might not be human, but that is hardly something a Fable will hold against somebody. Not even if somebody happen to lack legs. Most of them are not normal by a long shot anyway. And Ayako seems sincere, which is the most important thing. The greeting earns a nod in return. "I am Snow White, deputy mayor of Fabletown. It's a pleasure to meet you, Ayako. And perhaps I might. What is your price?" Not that it is an issue.
Ayako Hasekawa     The water spirit floats back down to her chair and sits down on it, nestling into the pillows. Ayako nods her head once. "I may not have any magic to do fortune telling, but I find it interesting nonetheless." She smiles softly, "It's nice to meet you as well, Snow." Her amber eyes slowly close as she shakes her head. "Oh no, I don't charge for this. Well." Her eyes open slowly as she giggles softly, "Except for maybe a bit of your time, and-" The overly large sleeves gesture towards the deck of cards on the table. "-for you to cut the deck."
Snow White     The Fable watches Ayako carefully, weighing her words before she nods and reaches out to the deck of cards and picks up some of them before setting them aside next to the others. "Magic comes in many forms. But yes, many are skilled at things without bringing magic into it. Do you tell the fortunes of everybody who crosses your path, or am I just lucky?"

Snow allows herself a faint smile of amusement at that comment. This ought to be interesting.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako giggles softly, "Oh yes, it does! But mine is focused on water and healing, not seeing the future. I still find doing this very interesting all the same." Her head inclines to the side gently as her gaze turns upwards for a moment. "Mmm? I tell the fortunes of anyone who crosses my path when I feel like telling fortunes!" She winks slowly, "That doesn't happen all the time, so... I'd say you are lucky!"

However, once the deck is cut, Ayako suddenly becomes quite focused. "Very well. Let us see what your fortune is." She swiftly deals out five cards in the shape of a cross in front of Snow White. "First, let's start with this card that represents the Past." Her oversleeved hand reaches over to the card closest to Snow White and flips it over. The Wheel of Fortune, upside-down. "A-ahh? You've went against your fate in the past?"
Snow White     "Healing is a noble endeavour," Snow states with a nod of approval, standing still in front of the table as she waits for Ayako to begin her reading. Perhaps it's a good thing she came to this area today of all days, then. It doesn't hurt to meet new people either if it means making contacts for Fabletown.

The revealed card and the question that follows it does catch the woman's interest, and she arches an eyebrow just faintly. "I was never much for fates anyway, miss."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles softly, "Healing is something that I definitely put a lot of myself into. And if I can help in some way, that's all I really need." She then nods her head slowly. "It is hard to fight against fate, but never impossible." Her sleeve reaches over to the card on the left side of the cross. "This card represents the present..." The Sun, upright. A bright smile crosses her face. "Ah! Hmm, you're quite happy with how things are going at the moment, it seems."
Snow White     The next card revealed doesn't bring much of a reaction from Snow, and she lets out a breath. "I'm not sure if I am... things are stable, but there are many things I would like to change if I could." There is always something that should be improved in some way, but there is just too much to do and too many things that demand her attention, really.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head slowly. "There are always things that people want to change. But that's what keeps us trying, right?" She smiles softly and then reaches over towards the card on the right side of the cross. "This card represents the imminent future." The Tower, upside-down.

Ayako winces visibly! But then whews softly when she notes it's upside-down. "I... well. A terrible, harsh, and chaotic situation awaits you soon. But! It seems you will come out better than before it happens. It still will be quite distressing, though!"
Snow White     Now that doesn't sound good. Nor does Ayako's reaction seem favourable at first. Snow studies the crumbling tower on the card. "I am afraid those situations happen a lot in my community." Still, stress is something she can deal with as long as it means things will be resolved one way or another. Chaotic situation though? The fair woman frowns a bit, uncertain about the other cards that await her.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head slowly. "Maybe the next card could tell me a bit more about it." Her sleeve reaches over to the card closest to her in the cross. "This card represents the Future." The Chariot, upside-down. "A-ahh... a feeling of loss of control due to external things." She sighs softly and shakes her head slowly. "Sorry Snow... that not a very nice fortune..."

Her amber gaze turns towards the last face down card. "But... well... there is one card left." Ayako gulps nervously. "That card is a card of guidance. It can give you some good advice. It... also might not and try to throw you off. But... in the end, it's up to you if you wish to see what it has to say."
Snow White     Not a nice future, huh? It doesn't seem to worry Snow too much. Either that or she hides it well. Control is something she strives for, but still... nothing can truly be controlled in this place. She is silent for now, a pensive look on her features.

And when Ayako mentions one final card, Snow nods. "I might as well." It can hardly become worse, now can it? Not that she will believe this reading to be the gospel truth, but it won't hurt to be cautious. Then again, she always is.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head slowly and then nervously flips over the card in the center of the cross. The World, upside-down. Her mouth opens to say something, but then slowly closes. "I... huh. That's a card you don't see too often there. One moment..."

Ayako's amber eyes look at the face-up cards and she thinks to herself for a while... "You've fought against your fate... and you're quite happy with how things are going right now. But soon, a chaotic situation will set itself upon you. You'll come out of it ahead, but begin worrying that things out of your control are harming you. But the advice is to re-examine your goals and what you think would be the best result. What you are driving for at the moment may be best put on hold indefinitely." And then she nods her head once.
Snow White     All in all, it looks not too promising, now does it? Snow watches the cards silently, resting a hand against her chin. "I see. Thank you for your time and the reading, miss." Her expression lightens up slightly, and she nods once in return. "Have you read cards for long? It sounds like you know them well."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head once, "You're very welcome, Snow!" She smiles softly as she shuffles the cards back into her deck. "I'm just sorry that it wasn't exactly a good fortune." Her head inclines to the side gently. "Un! I have been doing fortune telling with these cards for quite a long time... but I admit, I'm still not as good as I would like with them." She shakes her head slowly.
Snow White     "You will become better the more you do it," Snow encourages the water spirit, and she manages another smile. "We might be dealt bad fortunes in life, but that is just what it is; life. Life is never easy, and you just have to do what you have to in order to get by. I hardly expect things to suddenly turn stellar for me all of a sudden." It isn't like the girl wished ill fate on her, and besides... things could be far worse. Things /have/ been far worse.

"Perhaps we will meet again. Either way I wish you a good afternoon and evening." With that Snow offers one final nod before she continues on her way, her expression one of deep thought as she walks. She has been given some things to consider at least.
Ayako Hasekawa     "Un. I'll continue doing it." Ayako smiles softly and then thinks to herself. "I... I suppose so." She thinks to herself for a while... Did Snow say something that caused her to reflect for a moment?

Ayako bows her head in Snow White's direction and smiles brightly. "Perhaps we will! Until the next time that we do, Snow!" She flaps a sleeve in a cheerful wave and then resume shuffling the deck of tarot cards in her sleeves.
Deelel Deelel was not sure what to think of fortune telling it is just borderline madness for such thing with her people. Everything was pretty much binary to them but then again she'd been out in the world of chaos err the material world so long she'd started to pick up a few things and this might be interesting it was also a chance to get to talk ot Ayako in person too as she finds her way in,s he calls out.

"Hello? Ayako?"

Deelel oddly does have a digital warble to her voice giving away she's not as human as she looks.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako blinks her eyes slowly and glances about when she hears the unique digital warble of Deelel's voice. "Ah. Deelel?" She places the deck of cards gently onto the table, floats up off her chair and looks around. A few new blue flames ignite around her as she goes upwards. Oh there she is. Her oversleeved hand waves Deelel over. "Hello Deelel!" She smiles softly as she floats back down into the excessive amount of pillows on her chair.

"Care to have your fortune told?"
Deelel Deelel looks to the water elemental and seems to be grinning. She looks for a spot to sit downa nd looks at Ayako for a moment.

"That's why I'm here I'm curious to see how this go. Given Users err humans don't really have a set purpose I can see why they ... look at things like this trying to find something. It's strange ... to me to this day to know I know people who had to figure out a purpose on their own."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles softly at Deelel and gestures towards the deck of cards on the table with her sleeves. "Then please, cut the deck." She inclines her head to the side gently. "Hmm... it's true. Although you know, even those that were created with a purpose can still find some interest in fortune telling." She giggles softly and inclines her head to the side very slightly. "After all, you never know what existance has in store for you."
Deelel Deelel takes a moment to reach out with her ungloved hand to do so and as she does Ayako would get a look at the glowing tattoos that are very much circuit like a she cuts the deck and she humms. "I admit I try to learn more about my people's gods really. Sometimes this stuff can help me understand them as alike as we are to them there's still differences..."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako smiles softly, "Well, it might take a while to understand something like a god... but don't give up!" She gently takes the cut deck and takes a deep breath. "Well then... here we go."

Five cards are dealt out in a cross in front of Deelel. "Mmm... these five cards will be your fortune!" Ayako nods her head once and then reaches for the card closest to Deelel. "This card represents your past." Death, upside-down. "Hmm... a lack of change?" Her head inclines to the side gently. "But that doesn't tell me too much... need another card..." Her hand quickly goes to the left card on the cross and flips that one over. "This card represents the Present." The Hermit, upside-down. "Ahh... so... in respsonse to things not changing, you've decided to look outwards to seek knowledge."
Deelel Deelel Says "Basic culture doesn't change at the pace it does here, cenutries will pas before changes often really take hold if you wonder. Then again we don't age like humans and other lifeforms do but can not procreate either. She pauses noddin that next bit fits and she wonders is it a power or just somehing that makes someone look at their life and brings things into focus.

"Had to I basically got dumped from home with a damage memory. I didn't even know I had a function for years."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head slowly and then smiles softly. "Centuries are one thing, but as long as change does occur, I would still call it an interesting culture." She nods her head once. "I don't exactly age either... and nor do I procreate." She thinks to herself for a moment. "But there's more to existance than getting old and reproducing anyway." A soft giggle follows. "But I do hope you find things interesting and find yourself growing out here."

Ayako's gaze returns to the cards on the table. "This card... represents the immediate Future." Her sleeve slowly flips over the card on the right side of the cross. Strength, upside-down. "Ah. A problem will soon surface that will require much persistance and effort to overcome. You will have to carefully watch your own impulses and desires during this time."
Deelel Deelel says "It is but it has problems some very big problems right now but that's neither hear no there. Oh I know I don't get how they deal with that hardwired drive to ahem procreate. Anyway so this card is interesting I admit and very well. Though it is my nature to be an artist it's why I was made."

She grins.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head slowly. "Control is something that is definitely needed for an artist, though." She smiles softly and then reaches for the card closest to her. "This card, represents the Future." The Star, upright. "Ah." A bright smile crosses her face. "But after you overcome that problem, it seems you will be very happy!" She claps her sleeves together once. No, no sound. She didn't really clap them together hard.

Her gaze goes to the card in the center of the cross. "Well. With such a nice fortune, I'm not sure if you need it but... that card in the center is a card of guidance. It might give additional advice. But it might throw you off as well." Ayako nods her head once as she nervously gazes at the face down card. "It's up to you if you wish to see what it is."
Deelel Deelel Says "Even if there's no power in these they can help I think bring someone's mind info focus on things right? Heh Why not? What could it hurt really this is a curious thing."

She eyes the facedown card for a moment then moves to flip the face down card to see what it is.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nods her head once and then blinks her eyes quickly when Deelel flips over the card herself. The Fool, upside-down. "I... huh." She becomes quiet... and then looks at the other four face up cards. "I'm not sure if this is relevant. But it says that you should take another look at how you look at yourself. You may be seeing yourself as something that you aren't."

Ayako shakes her head slowly and then shuffles the face up cards back into her deck. "Sorry Deelel. That was quite a confusing fortune for me. But I hope you got something out of it." She smiles softly at her.
Deelel Deelel laughs for a moment

"I think tht might be refing to the past when I had no idea what or really who I was. I was pretty listless without a function if not for falling in with Arthur's crew. That might be it but who knows what the future holds right still this has been good to meet you in person at last."
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako nestles back into the pillows in her chair and nods her head slowly. "Mmm! It was good to meet you in person as well, Deelel." She smiles softly as she continues to shuffle the deck of tarot cards in her hands.
Ayako Hasekawa     Ayako leans back on her chair and looks up into the sky. "Mmm... not a bad night to do fortune telling." A bottle pops out of one of her sleeves as she sets the deck of tarot cards down on the table. The two sleeves take a moment to pop the cork off the bottle and then gingerly place the deck inside the bottle. Once the bottle is securely restoppered, it vanishes back into one of her sleeves. "It's kind of tiring in a different way than cleaning, or bottling healing water... but it's a good tired!"

A sudden blizzard of cheery blossoms erupts, covering the water spirit in petals. "Kyaaaa!" And Ayako giggles brightly as she shakes the petals off of herself. "Well! I can't wait till next time! I wonder who will come then?" She winks one eye slowly as her fortune telling setup dissolves into air along with her body.
