Rynn While Rynn tries to figure out where Arokh has gone off too, the red elder breed dragon has taken flight to stretch his wings out and enjoy the skies of the Multiverse. This has brought the dragon over the forest of Mirkwood and needing a moments rest, he tucks in his wings and then swoops down.

The speed at which he comes in shakes some of the tree tops, but his landing is that of perfection near what seems to be good enough clearing, which water at least runs. Those fiery draconic eyes scan the area, as his nostrils flare for a moment, before he walks up to the stream and sniffs at it. Determining if the water would be safe to drink or if he should move onward.
Thranduil      The water in this section of the woods is toxic, and the environment might be considered dangerous with the number of Silvan Elves pouring out of the trees and coming from the path, bows and swords drawn. The dragon was spotted overhead by scouts and of course immediately reported, so nearly the entire army was mobilized, king included. He isn't far behind, but the soldiers and scouts wanted to get an idea of what they were dealing with. "Flee now, foul beast, before you are halved in two!"
Rynn The red dragon snorts at the water, but this about the time that a few elves show up. Those draconic eyes gaze at each of them before he speaks up. "Fowl beast? Hardly. My name is Arokh" He rumbles out as he goes to turn to face them, his tail kept down low and his wings kept tightly to his sides. "I mean none of you any harm, so put down your weapons."

The dragon then inhales deeply, "That way we can be a bit more civilized over this."
Thranduil      The ground trembles as hundreds of hoofbeats come racing down the path, led by a large Elk ridden by a fae looking man with long white hair, a stark contrast to all the others. He draws a sword and holds it up at his side. "A dragon in Mirkwood always means harm. There is no civility to be had, creature. What are you doing here? Choose your words wisely, as they may be your last."
Rynn Arokh hears the hoofbeats and his head cranes up fully, as his tail moves side to side, with his eyes ridges narrowing in contemplation. Once the king makes himself known, the red dragon stares him in the eyes.

There was a dead stare before he speaks up, "Resting my wings and looking for a place to get water. Nothing more, nothing less." He shakes his head gently. "This is really not necessary. I am not your enemy."

Meanwhile....

Rynn has managed to track down where Arokh has gone off too. The young red head finds herself stopping on the edge of Mirkwood as her green eyes scan over the dark forest, she closes her eyes faintly and draws out her bow, including pulling out three arrows. "Arokh.... why must you pick the worst places to go venturing off into."
Thranduil      "All dragons are our enemy." The king is not exactly rational when it comes to dragons. "You have entered the kingdom of Mirkwood, as you must know." When Rynn is heard, a large group of archers turn their attention on her voice. Thrandruil frowns. "Whoever you are, I suggest you lay down your weapons and approach very slowly."
Rynn Arokh sighs softly. "You are a unreasonable man..." Though when some turn their attention toward the sound of movement, the dragon looks that way as well, "...Rynn?" He says her name before she ever appears.

As for the red head as she walks in, she has her bow up in the air and her arrows. "Easy now. I was just coming to check up on my friend here and it seems for once he has found himself trouble, instead of the other way around."

"Perhaps you can reason with them Rynn." Arokh says with a gruff sound in his voice. "It seems dragons here have... a bad reputation."
Thranduil      "Unreasonable, perhaps, but it is my duty to keep my people safe from threats such as you. I have spent many centuries hunting your kind, I have no compunctions about spilling your blood as well."

Thranduil looks to Rynn. "You are companions with this overgrown salamander?"
Rynn "Overgrown salamander!?" Arokh barks out as his wings furl out slightly. "I have you know I am an Elder breed! Not some lizard or /pet/!"

Rynn keeps her hands where the elves can see them. "Arokh there is my companion, a very good friend, and a hero in our world, not once, but twice. We both ours. He defeated what was known as the Dark Union, a very evil group, from destroying our world about four hundred, to six hundred years ago."

"We defeated them again together and while a new Dark Union is trying to rise up, we are simply looking for allies to aid in our cause."
Thranduil      "The Dark Union?" That completely confuses Thranduil who just recently learned of the Union. "You should be more educated about where you tread. Dragons are the enemy in Middle Earth except by those considered evil. They are to be slain on sight. Your friend is fortunate to have kept his head this long."
Rynn Rynn slowly goes to put her arrows away and place her bow on her backside. Her motions smooth, slow, and making sure she doesn't come across hostile. "Yes. The Dark Union, not to be confused with the Union here in the Multiverse."

Rynn then starts to make her way carefully to Arokh. "And really, you shouldn't think that way... not all dragons are evil and diffidently not Arokh."

The Red Dragon looks between Rynn, then back to the elves, then back to Rynn. His body shifts slightly unsure of what they may do.
