Ryu     Ryu got some jewelry made from that gold that got pulled off of him, after the battle with those demons. Bright gold colors, bracelets, anklets and a coiling band around his tail can all be seen, with a wavy pattern. The most notable part of it is the chain hanging off the collar, that holds a pendant, and set instead of a gemstone into the pendant is the Izzet signet, displaying his support like a true Izzet would.

He walks off the elevator and toward Rhapsody's lair, seeking out her opinion on it, since she's the first person that he'd officially show this to. Though he is a little hesitant, because of Jeannette's remark about 'draconic tension' when he mentioned it over the radio. He would've been so eager to show off to Rhapsody, but that just made him feel embarrassed about the feeling.

    "R... Rhapsody?"
Rhapsody     Busy Busy Busy.

That's been the state of affairs in Nivix for the last few weeks, and any eyes sent toward the Izzet Sector as a whole would show that the guild was certainly working hard. Smoke stacks were churning, steam was pumping, and with Winter's thaw firmly past, the guild was gearing up for a lot of work with the utilities of Ravnica.

As a result, there had been all manner of things to do for the Guildmaster, her siblings, and even her rarely seen teacher. Even as Ryan slips into the den, he could see the difference in the room. Things were stacked up all over the place. Parts, materials, and other assorted forge materials were near the door to the Dragonsforge. Tables with smaller parts, paperwork, and even a few more computers were now present in the room, and along the opposite wall from the Dragonsforge was at least a dozen or more communication and comms crystals that Sidonia was probably using to help coordinate everything. So yes. It's very busy.

With Ryan's arrival, "Hold on!" calls out from somewhere in the room. A few moments later Rhapsody would actually appear out of the forge! Interesting, that, "Hello, Ryan!" Rhapsody greets, blinking once as she notices all that Gold. . Gold. . . GOLD. "... Shiny." the word just kinda.. slips out.
Ryu     The room is intimidating for Ryu, who wasn't quite aware of all the work and responsibility that Rhapsody had to shoulder until very recently. He lets out a little draconic whine at the sight, and places his hands together in a thoughtful way at all of it. It's only when Rhapsody slips out of the Forge that he straightens and rumbles with a bright joy that he rarely shows to anyone else.

His voice is full of mirth, "It's all real gold, slightly infused with my own draconic blood. Fancy, right?" He then steps up closer to her and removes one of the bracelets by unclasping it at a hinge, a bit like a shackle in that way. He holds it out to her, making sure to show off the braille found on the inside of it. In fact, he'd gently reach over to grasp her hand and place it on the braille letters.

"This one is yours, if you want it," he tells her, "It has your name on it, after all."
Rhapsody     Well that was... unexpected. The guildmaster was about to comment that it all looked very well on him, but the words get stuck somewhere between her brain and her muzzle when Ryan presses the bracelet into her hand. It actually leaves her speechless for a long, possibly awkward, moment, before she finally says, "... T-thank you, Ryan, I.." WORDS. FIND A WORD. Um. Think. Uh. "really appreciate it." BOOOOOOOOO THAT WAS AWFUL. AAAAAH. "... I hope it didn't hurt when they dumped all of that on you." CHANGE THE SUBJECT AAAA
Ryu     Ryan gives a bit of a draconic smile at the awkward remark about how he came across this gold. He shrugs at her in an easy-going way, and puffs a sigh, apparently enjoying how awkward she got when he gave this to her. When he feels she's cooled off from the awkward air, he steps forward to give her a hug if she lets him, steps back and just says, "Sorry. I thought it would make up for all the help you've given me, if only a little bit." He looks around at all the evidence of her work around them, and back to her, rumbling contently. There's not a whole lot that can disturb his good mood at this point.

"It hurt a lot, though," he adds, "It /was/ liquid gold, after all. Not a fun day, that!"
Rhapsody     She cools pretty quickly! A moment after the hug, which is allowed, and she seems to have regained her composure, "Well, no, it wouldn't be. Dragons may be a bit resistant to fire but that doesn't mean it won't hurt.." she figures, considering the amount of gold again. . . so shineh. Finally after another moment she realizes she hasn't put the silly thing on and actually does so, holding up her wrist to take a look at it, "I gotta ask... why Braile?"
Ryu     Ryu watches and listens, following the bracelet as she stares at it, as she puts it on and as she lifts it up. But when Rhapsody asks him 'Why Braille?' he blinks once, slowly, having thought that the answer was obvious. "I had intended to have them written in English," he begins, his voice lowering some, "But Toph only knows how to write in Braille, so that's what she did instead, when we agreed to do what was easier for her to craft. It doesn't matter how it's written, only what it means. Otherwise, it wouldn't need the writing at all."

He touches his own bracelet. "I got a name etched into each, to represent the people who helped me accept who I am now, to have a physical token to remind me, even years later. Gold lasts as long as immortals walk the lands, so it would last longer than my memory."
Rhapsody     Somewhere in her head she'd blush, but the Guildmaster seems to have learned how to hide that particular expression. Slightly. Tail always gives that kind of thing away, "OH! You did mention she made it, I had forgot," she muses, then blinks. Oh god Toph knows about .. this? Shocked that no amount of teasing has come up. . . . Then again Rhapsody didn't know the Earthbender very well. "Again... thank you... it was a really thoughtful gift, Ryan.."
Ryu     Again, it seems like Ryu is smiling at her. Hard to tell with his draconic muzzle, but then she's also a dragon. He takes note of her emotions from her tail, and this instinctual recognition catches against his human understanding of emotion. He can't help but look down at the tail, casting attention toward its betrayal of her poker face. "I'm glad you like it," he tells her, rumbling like a great big happy cat would. And then he loosely indicates with a wave of his hand toward all of her work, "Is this normal for the busier months? I don't think I've seen your lair so full of all of this stuff."
Rhapsody That gets a nod out of the Guildleader, "Yeah... gearing up for maitenance work on everything. Water lines, steam lines, ... mana vines for thie first time this year, and any other utilities we work on. During the winter a lot of it slows down but once the weather warms up things start breaking so we have to start fixing. Already have a lot of requests from the Azor but, well, its the Azor. They'd make a request for a drip they could just turn their faucet's off to stop..
Ryu     Ryu takes that opportunity to wander about the lair, looking at all of the tools and the parts. He stops to look at a few that confuse him -- most of them do -- and then turns to look at Rhapsody. "They're the law-makers, right?" he asks, "Seems like they're just paperwork junkies, going by some of the stuff I hear about them."
Rhapsody A grin is given to Ryan from Rhapsody, "That's the nice way to say it. I think Niv once said the Azor work the hardest to make sure absolutley nothing is accomplished. They aren't ALL bad but most of the low level members are beuracrats of the highest degree." she explains, slumping into a seat near one of the computers. Considering it has the Union logo plastered across it, it's probably not one for Ravnican things.
