Allenby Beardsley     From space, the Future Century Earth is not without its features common to a planet that has adopted the technology known as the Gundam. Space colonies are prevalent and the depletion of Earth's natural resources is visible even from space. It is a planet out of balance and in deep need of recovery, the earthbound cities in clear decline and the reaches of uninhabitable land crawling further every day. It is for this reason that the Earth...is the ring! For the Gundam Fight, that is.

The warp gate to this place opens up to a ravaged city that was once Rome, formerly ruled by the lawless gang of Michelo Chariot. However something happened weeks ago that sent the red-haired man into hiding.

But it isn't here that Allenby has elected to have her fight with Yuri Stinson. No, instead she has opted for the mostly abandoned city of Stockholm, half of which has slid into the Baltic Sea. Like before, the Neo Sweden team has set up cameras all around the city ruins, though this time there are far more to capture what is going to be a (literally) larger battle than the last. Anyone who looks at her team will quickly see that the majority of them seem to be doctors or scientists.

Allenby awaits her opponent, though firmly on foot with her back to the sunken portion of the city.
Yuri Stinson     Yuri doesn't arrive so much as appear within a rush of wind. The nature of Adorjan charms sees him simply appear some distance away from Allenby as he looks at her with a blank stare on his face. A careful camera will catch his approach, but to see him simply dash up, covering vast distances in seconds, will take stop-motion film reviews. When he comes to a stop, there's a rattling of chains.

As always, he is dressed in layers of cloaks. After the weekend battle, many of them have blotchy red stains to indicate where he bled into them from exertion. He looks around, spotting the cameras and then panning his gaze over to Allenby, "If you fight me, you could die," He cautions, not as a threat but as a warning, "It would be a waste of a life such as yours, for you are young and beautiful. Is this the path you wish? If so, you will need teams prepared to deal with supernatural diseases as well as severe medical care."

He looks down at his feet again, as if realizing he forgot to introduce himself, "Mn. I am Yuri Stinson, the Unchained Beast. The Dark Hero Who Rebels Against Tyranny."
Allenby Beardsley     Yuri will find Allenby watching the skies when he arrives, perhaps expecting him to come via his own giant robot. She also had expected it to take far more time for him to show up seeing as she reacts to his appearance with surprise. "...again?" she murmurs, "Everyone's so sneaky."

She eyes him up critically, spotting the bloodstains on his clothing, which gives her pause. His warning earns a long moment of contemplative silence from the girl and she looks over at the main knot of doctors for her team. In particular, she looks directly at a silver-haired, glasses-wearing man with a thin face.

Dr. S nods at her. Allenby looks away.

"You're the second person this week to tell me that I'll die if I fight 'em." she says, "I've got my team here on standby and an additional person showing up. So whatever you throw at me, I'll be prepared." She speaks plainly and evenly, confidence and arrogance about her even if she can't really fathom what this guy can do.

His introduction makes her realize that she's neglected to give him one of her own, "I'm Allenby Beardsley, the Gundam Fighter of Neo Sweden."
Sanary Rondel      That nap did Sanary a lot of good. Sure, messing up her sleep schedule probably isn't the best idea, but it's still better than the alternative of running on fumes. Even moreso since, luckily enough, she's gotten permission to watch a fight! Probably a crazy fight, if what she had heard of Allenby's fight with Rock Lee was true.

Yuri Stinson, thought. That was a familiar name, but she couldn't put her finger on why. Well, whatever. It would probably become more obvious once the fight started. And so, the healer arrives in her standard coat and shitty tunic combo. The coat's fine and actually looks decently kept, but the tunic...

It's definitely seen better days. Still, it was the fastest thing Sanary could get on, and she's practically running just to catch up with the two soon-to-be combatants. "Sorry I'm late! Uh. Went into the wrong gate, ended up in the bar... Ah. A-anyway." She takes a quick breath before snapping her hand to her head in a salute, although there's still a broad grin on her face. "Sanary Rondel, healer of... Place. Good to meet ya."
Yuri Stinson     "I am not attempting to intimidate you. I simply do not wish to accidentally take the life of a non-tyrant," He comments as he looks her over. She might feel a probing sense, as if she were being scanned by his eyesight. He narrows them a bit and seems to deem her capable of sustaining combat against him, "Very well."

                         "Viridian Legend Exoskeleton."

As he says this, fire and brass begin to break and erupt from his body. Raw metal and sickly-green fire surround and curl in on him, every eruption seeming to add another sheet or another layer, or perhaps another piece of the whole machine. It takes only a few seconds to finish, and as the hot metal cools, it becomes a 30-foot-tall robot that gleams with red and white materials.

Inside the cockpit, Yuri adjusts his stance and begins going over subsystems, "By Pain Forged... active. By Agony Empowered..." A spike from the cockpit seat embeds in his back, "Active. Pain surpressors on, synchronicity active." The machine chimes off system after system, "Martial arts suite, active. Yozi charms, active. Titan Charms, active."

The robot itself, after finishing its bootup, slowly adjusts the stance of its footing as Yuri begins handling the controls, "I am prepared," His voice says over a speaker in the machine.
Allenby Beardsley     Despite the tension in the air, Allenby gives Sanary a cheerful wave. The rest of her team motions her over to stand with them. All of her team just happens to be older Swedish men so if Sanary is looking for someone to be friendly with, she's going to be disappointed. Though Dr. Beliman, the brown-haired guy of the group, does look kind of friendly.

She turns back to Yuri and suddenly feels a chill down her spine, reflected in a look of brief confusion from Allenby.

And then he /turns into/ his Exaltation-or what Allenby would commonly call a 'giant robot'. It's definitely no make she's ever seen before, though that was to be expected. What WASN'T expected was it EXPLODING OUT OF HIS BODY. She can't help but stare wordlessly at this long after the exoskeleton has appeared.

"Well then..." she eventually says, shaking herself out of her impressed stupor and gesturing to the sky with an upturned hand. "...RISE! GUNDAM!" Then the true reason for Allenby waiting with her back to the water is revealed as the surface breaks and the red, white, blue, and yellow Gundam emerges from the water. The Nobel Gundam stands fully, mimicking the pose of the blue-haired fighter. Allenby half turns and easily leaps the 30 or so feet into the air to the door to the cockpit, which is located just below the bow on its chest, as it slips open.

A few seconds pass after the cockpit door shuts and the Gundam applies the mobile trace suit to Allenby, an action that she's had years to grow accustomed to. It isn't long before the Nobel Gundam is moving, balancing easily on one foot before practically prancing out of the water into the ruined streets proper. "Nobel Gundam online!" Allenby seems as cheerful as her movements, contrasting strangely with moments ago. "GUNDAM FIGHT! REA-ohwaitit'snotaGundamfight LET'S GO!!!" A white cylinder flicks into her hand, a long beam ribbon appearing from it as she moves, first encircling around the Nobel Gundam's form before she lashes it out at Yuri.
Sanary Rondel     And that's Sanary's cue to back away very, very quickly. What was with giant robots having such weird entrances? Allenby's team seems to have the right idea, at least, and the axe-fighter wastes little in getting over there to use them as human shi-to join them in observing the fight.

And then ANOTHER giant robot comes out of the water, although it's significantly less startling in its entrance. Maybe it's just the way it appeared? Or... It could be the less threatening appearance of the thing overall. It's certainly different from the ones she had seen last time, and almost...

"That's from that internet thing, isn't it? The one with the squids and... Uh." She glances towards the old men to see if they'll even know what she's alluding to, her hopes dashed rather quickly upon realizing that they're literally a bunch of old men. Of course they wouldn't recognize it.

Well, at least there's something significantly more impressive to focus on. Namely, a giant robot fight!
Yuri Stinson     Yuri's machine makes no motion to evade the attack, testing its power in the opening moments of the fight. It comes towards him and sheers a deep cut into the side of his machine. It clearly damaged his machine, and inside Yuri even has a similar wound in his side that bleeds into his cloak. But he makes no sound of pain and no impeding of his motions, despite the wound that sparks from the side of the machine.

In response to her attack, a compartment opens in the back of the machine's right wrist and a massive length of chain comes out. In contrast to the sleek and shining machine, the chain it produces is old, iron, and rusted. It rattles loudly as he swings the hand and grips the chain before swinging it in a lashing motion towards the Nobel Gundam.

If it strikes, as it strikes, it will emit gouts of sickly and powerful green flame. The flames of the Green Sun Malfeas, himself, which scorch and burn with a hatred that suffuses even bodily functions. The powerful swings aim to strike, carrying the hate-filled Green Sun Nimbus Flare in their every blow. She wished to fight Yuri at his best, and to deny this power would weaken him greatly, albeit spare her the risk of an immensely agonizing disease.

"I am sorry," He murmurs through the speaker on his machine, "The fires of Malfeas do not discriminate in their hatred. This will be unpleasant."
Allenby Beardsley     The scientists stare at Sanary blankly. No, they are very much not up on the 'internets' and their 'animes.'

Her opening is no idle flick but it is a test. A hard strike against his defenses and against his reactions meaning Allenby, despite her cheerful attitude, wasn't just here to play around.

After the strike, she keeps moving forward. As she closes she does something that would prove to be immensely stupid. She reaches out to catch the chain with her free hand as it comes flying in at her and the green flames splash up her hand and arm.

Although the feedback of the Mobile Trace System has its limits in order to preserve the life of the pilot, it doesn't seem to prevent Allenby from experiencing the most exquisite pain she's ever felt. A strangled-sounding wail of agony involuntarily sounds from her and the beam ribbon in her other hand is dropped to the ground.

But at that point, conditioning takes over. She tugs against the chain once to boost her forward momentum before (all too gladly) letting go, bursting in with a flying knee aimed at the Infernal's center mass.
Yuri Stinson     At his synchronization levels with the Exalted Core of the machine, Yuri's feedback is literally 1:1 on his machine. The downside is that this means every wound on the machine is a wound on Yuri. The upside is that it means he and the mech move as if they were the same being because they functionally are.

As the kick comes in, Yuri turns on his Adorjan Systems. With a burst of speed the machine didn't show in the opening attacks, it darts backwards in a flash, the knee striking the air in front of it as he's gone in a fraction of a second, "You are powerful. Why do you fight? What is your purpose?" He asks to her as he slides back against the ground before immediately coming back on.

The chain is wrapped around the hand of the machine, making it a punching weapon as the fist swings in and trails more of that sickly green fire that enhances his every attack. This one is a basic haymaker and pretty easy to dodge if she expects it. Yuri may just be stalling for symptoms to set in.
Allenby Beardsley     "-fast!" Allenby gasps, the faintest traces of pain in her voice still lingering from earlier. "I haven't seen a machine move that fast before." She still keeps moving forward at him, though, tapping the ground with her other foot to launch herself roward a second time, aggressively pushing the attack anyway.

"Me? I'm supposed to fight for my country. You know, to win for Neo Sweden so they can be the rulers of the Earth and colonies. But I realized recently that I kind of /like/ fighting." Even close in now, she sees that punch coming and easily manages to circle off away from it as it closes in. Already she's had enough of being hit with that nasty green fire.

From this position, she swings in with a round kick to the back of his legs. "But I only enjoy it if my opponent is strong. /You/ are strong, I can tell."

Though it does help that that fact was verified by at least three people in the Confederates.
Yuri Stinson     "You would have made an excellent Adorjan Pilot," Yuri comments in response to this comment, his hands moving over his controls as he moves the machine. Green eyes shut in the cockpit as he handles movements and maneuvering. His monotone face betrays no emotion in the cockpit, but he watches her movements, "Fighting for the joyful release of violence. For the freedom battle provides," He comments to her in a simple tone.

Her leg connects with his legs and blow out the back of his servos, causing very visible damage as she does so. The mech moves backwards, but Yuri plants his hand on the ground and pushes back as the mech goes down. It does a scarily-nimble flip before lunging back towards a building behind it. Its feet touch the building and don't even so much as damage the exterior, leaping off it with a touch so gentle the building doesn't even shake.

"You are strong. This is undeniable fact. But you need a Motivation," He lectures blandly, leaping high up into the air and then coming down again. As he does so, a massive sword appears in his hands as he cuts downwards through the air, the blade of it whistling and crackling with wind and green flames as he strikes towards her.

"Power without motivation is wasted. What is your Motivation?"

After the strike, he stands fully again. The legs of the exaltation are clearly damaged, sparking and crackling from the damage. But the mech itself does not slow down. Does not stop in its movements. The Malfean feels no pain. The Malfean never acknowledges his wounds until the moment he collapses, no matter how bad they are. But this does not mean the wounds do not exist, and his machine is clearly wounded.
Allenby Beardsley     "Joyful release of violence and freedom of battle...hmm." Allenby's deceptively cheerful tone sounds like she's turning over the words in her head, "Yes. Yes I think that accurately describes it!" Nor does it really sound like she finds such a thing unusual for a teenage girl to enjoy. She already knows she's not 'normal'. She missed the boat for normal.

"-ooh." Comes the brief reaction to the flip, thoug she's actually more impressed that he didn't completely crumble that building he pushed off. Though as he does this, Allenby takes the moment to reclaim her fallen beam ribbon, which had turned back into a bland-looking white metal baton when it had left her hand. When she turns to face him, the ribbon has reappeared.

It's promptly used to catch the massive sword as it is swung down at her, one hand grabbing the stretched beam ribbon easily thanks to anti-beam coating on the hands.

She holds it there for a moment. "...motivation? I..." Yuri can practically /hear/ Allenby's mind drawing a blank. "...I..." The beam ribbon, in that moment, can no longer hold back the power of the sword, and it splits. Knowing that this is happening, Allenby moves to sidestep out of the way, but it is not fast enough to evade the sword entirely and the left arm is sheared off at the shoulder. It is the same arm that had caught the chain earlier.

She can't help but shriek a little at this, half in pain, and half in outrage. The disadvantage galvanizes her a little and in a burst of speed, aided by the thrusters hidden beneath the hair of the Nobel Gundam's back, she dashes forward to unload a flurry of punches. Though she now only has the one arm, it still comes with quite a bit of speed.

The scientists on Allenby's team all start muttering amongst themselves in various concerned tones.
Yuri Stinson     The sword cuts cleanly and evenly, at least. Not the kind of weapon to leave a jagged or broken wound. Yuri spins it a bit in his grasp and then grips it with both hands. It seems to be made out of iron just like his chains. Albeit a more durable iron than should be natural from a weapon like that.

She's coming at him again, though. He can admire her endurance for pursuing despite an attack of that damaging caliber. She's not like him, she can't simply not feel pain and not let it slow her down, as he can do so easily. So her act of powering through it earns her some respect, "Yes. Motivation. A goal, your end, the culmination of your fight. You have stated what it is supposed to be, but not what it actually is."

Her punches are fast and damaging, they're opening up massive holes in the chest of his machine as he air-dashes backwards and she keeps pace with him. Unlike her, he cannot feel pain. This is its own drawback, as it forces him to constantly check a damage moniter. The chest laser was no longer functional. The leg motions would need an overhaul, which he just did two days ago after the zeal situation. He scowls a bit.

His counter-attack isn't graceful or refined, because the Infernal himself is neither of these things. It's a brutal counter-attack meant to lay an opponent out for striking the user of said style. It was, however, suitable to prevent this girl from continuing to beat his machine into submission, which she would do if not stopped immediately.

There's a flash of Essence around the machine and it begins to glow a dull red color as it passes a threshhold that prevents its supernatural attributes from showing. It's now got a crimson aura around it as the hilt of Yuri's sword attempts to drive into the 'throat' of the machine. It's a desperation attack to stop her from beating on his mech.

"You should endeavor to find your Motivation and pursue it, no matter what those holding your leash say," He comments, eyes looking over to the screen with the scientists on it. In the cockpit, all the shots to his chest are showing in that the front of his cloak is stained red with blood where broken ribs have jutted through flesh underneath.
Allenby Beardsley     The entire left arm of Allenby's Mobile Trace Suit glows yellow, the constant numbness imparted by the circuits serving as a reminder that the Gundam's arm was currently inoperable. Of course, on account of not being there. It also felt strangely itchy but this is the last thing on Allenby's mind right now as she drives forward.

"I don't know." she admits as she dances around him, punching over and over again, each seemingly more fierce than the last as her frustration with this Motivation issue starts to show. "I don't have one." She stares at him, her own green eyes meeting his via the small window on her wrap-around HUD that occasionally does show feed of the opponent pilot.

The flash registers on Allenby's awareness but she continues to push her assault-at least, right up until the sword whips around and is jammed into the Nobel Gundam's neck. The attack abruptly stops. Everything in Allenby's cockpit goes red.

There is a reason that the Mobile Trace Suit doesn't include the head. Head trauma sucks. Unfortunately, the throat is just on that edge where it stops. "Mind pulling that out?" Allenby says hoarsely, lifting the remaining hand to grab the sword and do it himself if he doesn't comply.
Yuri Stinson     Yuri slowly pulls out the sword and then nods. He shuts his eyes a bit and the sword, as well as the mech around him, vanish in a flash and explosion of brass and flame. He falls to the ground from about twenty-five feet up and lands. His cloaks are bloody and there's actually blood pooling around him as he walks along the ground, though he doesn't seem to let it slow him down.

"You are strong. Your power is undeniable, Allenby Beardsley," He takes a slow breath and then looks up at her mech carefully, his green eyes appraising her. All the injuries she brought to his mech are on his body, which is why he wears the cloaks to conceal himself. He steps forward slowly, "Perhaps some day you will find your motivation. Perhaps some day you will discover what you wish to fight for," He muses, "If you ever need advice on this, you may call upon me. I will give my counsel freely."
Allenby Beardsley     "Ugh." Allenby murmurs, the Gundam lowering itself onto one knee on the ground. A few moments pass before the cockpit slot opens and Allenby slips out, landing on the ground. Unlike Yuri, she isn't bleeding, no, but some of the exposed skin that can be seen (which isn't much in a mobile trace suit to be honest) is an inflamed red.

"Thanks." she says, accepting the praise but without her usual cheer, clearly bothered by something. "You're strong too. Strong and..." she pauses, "...angry?" She sounds puzzled as she scratches her arm.

She makes a tired smile. "Yeah, maybe I'll look you up sometime, Yuri Stinson."
Yuri Stinson     "Fury would be a better term," He comments idly, still dripping blood onto the ground under him and shifting his stance faintly, "You may feel free to look me up as you wish."

"For now," He says seriously to her, "You should seek immediate and supernatural medical aid. You only have a few hours before the symptoms escalate in ways which you do not wish."

Giving this warning, he turns and begins walking off once more.
