Kazusa Ujikane     For their purposes, Kazusa has decided to use the massive arcade area rather than the restaurant proper. If anyone asks, she'll say that this is because the arcade is louder, and thus in its own way more secure. And while this is /partially/ true, the more important reasoning to her would be that it's her first chance to really enjoy the arcade so she'll take any excuse she can get.

It's not hard to find her, at least; amidst all the varieties of people here, all the many different species, in her own way she stands out sheerly on normalcy. A short, nerdy girl with glasses and a cardigan, hands shoved in her pockets and keenly watching the crowd.
Yuri Stinson     Yuri sticks out in his own weird way. People seem to part where he walks, he's constantly accompanied by a rattling of chains where he goes, and he's clad in about six cloaks that all move and shift around him as he goes. He didn't have access to Kazusa's file, so he had no stock photo to move from. Seafoam green eyes stare over the crowd appraisingly as he attempts to locate the girl who wished to try his powers.

"I am looking for Kazusa Ujikane," He says flatly, to no one in particular.
Kazusa Ujikane     That was, apparently, the right thing to say.

Kazusa's eyes are already sparkling when she gets a look at Yuri - he /stands out/, like some dangerous and dashing protagonist from exactly the kind of story she likes to read. When he speaks up and her name comes out of his mouth, the reaction is probably rather predictable. "Ooh-?! Ah, um, here, over here! I'm over here! I'm Kazusa!" She jumps up and down a little, waving one arm to get Yuri's attention... and then promptly readjusts her purse, as it nearly falls off her shoulder.
Yuri Stinson     He looks towards the voice and then doesn't seem to walk as much as blur over to her with a slight gust of wind. He looks down at the girl and says, "Greetings. I am Yuri Stinson, the Unchained Beast. I am also The Dark Hero Who Rebels Against Tyranny," He explains in a factual tone. That chain-rattling noise emits once again as he raises a hand to hold it out to greet her.

"You wished to harness my nature for some aspect of your own powers?" He inquires, still not fully understanding her cards.
Kazusa Ujikane     And then suddenly, he's right in front of her. The response is a tiny leap backwards and a startled "Eep!" from Kazusa, but she quickly adjusts her glasses and recovers what little composure she had to begin with. "Ah, h-hello! I'm Kazusa, Kazusa Ujikane. I'm, uh. I'm a school student." She reaches out to take his hand and shake, and gives a nod. "Kind of, yeah. I have five cards that let me copy the skills and abilities of people. I think you might be a fit for The Beast."

She shuffles around in her purse for a moment, before coming out with a card; half again as wide as a poker card, and fully twice as long. Bordered by a simple 'picture frame' sort of design, it features a set of rather bestial teeth against a completely black background, and then holds it up as if to look at Yuri through it. The face of it seems to shimmer briefly, and Kazusa breaks into a wide grin. "I knew it!"
Yuri Stinson     Yuri seems to think for a long moment as he looks down at her. Two things run through his mind, the first is how happy she is that he fits her card. The second is how much his own power and nature frighten even him. He thinks it over and carefully speaks, "I see. This is a powerful ability you have. If you will allow me to caution you."

"My powers change people at their core level. I am not an unrestrained monster, but instead an uncaring one. My lack of control exists not in a fury, but a detachment," He notes in a serious tone, "If you subsume my power, you will lose touch with your emotions on many levels. Your power will be great, able to buckle mighty foes before you. But you will not care, save for those who matter the utmost to you."

"I am not saying no, but I am cautioning you as to its nature. If you understand this, then I am willing to lend you my power."
Kazusa Ujikane     The caution Yuri gives does seem to have its intended effect; Kazusa lowers her arm, holding the card a little closer to herself, and listens quietly. Her enthusiasm visibly dulls somewhat, and after he finishes speaking, she looks down at the Beast card with a pensive, thoughtful gaze.

"...this card kind of scares me, I think. Something about it feels ominous. It's as strong as my other most powerful card, The Knight, but it also seems kind of... dangerous. But... my cards don't change who I am. When I copied Amalthea, I felt really grumpy. When I copied Priscilla, I was kind of distant and... old, I guess. Ancient. But even while I was transformed, I still cared about what I cared about. Wanted what I wanted. I think, if it's through this card, even if it's only as a last resort, it'd be okay. Probably."
Yuri Stinson     Yuri nods his head and says, "Few get to experience the power of an Exalt. You will receive an insight into my existence that none other has."

One hand raises, again with that rattling of chains that seems to accompany his every movement, and he reaches towards the card, "Do I simply take it an extend my powers into it?" He inquires as he grasps one edge of the card in two fingers, not taking it from her grasp but simply grasping it as well. A red aura surrounds him as he focuses his Essence and attempts to empower her card with a portion of his abilities.
Kazusa Ujikane     "Ah, I don't think so," Kazusa replies, holding it up. "So far I've only just asked people, and when they said yes, the card kind of changed..."

Surprisingly enough, the card seems to resist that push of power; it seems to be condensed magic in and of itself, an ideal bound to physical form through shaped mana, unable to accept his power purely because it has no room for it - or perhaps doesn't want it. However, his touch seems to trigger something else. An impression is given, a question asked at a far more basic level than words. It has no shape to it, no form, a simple concept of request at the most instinctive level. But if there were to be words put to it, they would be something like...

O fearsome fury, will you lend your ferocity to this brave soul?

Kazusa doesn't seem to realize it's happened. She's just looking between Yuri and the card curiously.
Yuri Stinson     The particular manifestation and question of the card does not surprise Yuri too much. He's used to mysterious artifacts asking him questions, it's part of being an Exalt. But that does not mean that he doesn't stare at the card for a good hard while. Eventually, he speaks to the card out loud.

"I shall. She is of heart enough to handle it."
Kazusa Ujikane     Kazusa looks confused when Yuri speaks. It morphs to surprise when the face of the card changes; from the set of bestial teeth, to the image of a shackle, emblematic of Yuri himself. "Whoaaa... y-you were talking to the card, weren't you? Did it talk? What did it say? This is the first time anyone's talked to the card...!" She's still looking at it in mild surprise for the moment, though she's got a hand on her purse, as if ready to stow it.
Yuri Stinson     "Oh fearsome fury, will you lend your ferocity to this brave soul?"

Yuri repeats this to Kazusa in a blank tone, as if surprised she couldn't see it as well, "It asked me if I was willing to give you my power." He explains, letting his hand fall to the side as he looks at her. He awkwardly stands there for a few moments and then awkwardly gives Kazusa one of the larger compliments he is able to give a person:

"You remind me of FIA. You two have the same innocence. So I was willing to lend you my power."
Kazusa Ujikane     This revelation seems to surprise Kazusa, but it's followed by a complement that distracts her quite effectively. "Oh, ah... th-thank you!" She bows deeply, flattered, still holding the Beast card; only when she's finished with that does she finally slide it into her purse and close it up. "I promise I'll be really careful about when and how I use The Beast! I wished for these cards so I could save people, I don't want to betray my own wish."
Yuri Stinson     "Yes," Yuri agrees with her, nodding, "You should remember the ideals you fight for and what you desire. It will guide you through dark times and help you realize the person you should become." He states to her, watching the card vanish into her purse just moments later, "I can only hope my power will help in such an endeavor, dark as it may be in its nature."
Kazusa Ujikane     To that, Kazusa can only give a smile and a warm nod.

At that point, she pauses to fidget somewhat restlessly. Her eyes keep darting to the arcades.

"So, um. I... I think I'm gonna get a move-on now. My dad gave me a couple hours before I gotta get home, soooo..."
Yuri Stinson     Yuri nods his head, "I must go to that fight against the Allenby woman. I hope I do not kill her, to be honest." He says this in a sort of detached tone that indicates it less as a threat and more as an accidental possibility, "Good luck in your journey."
