Iianor     The moment that you step into the studio, the painting on the wall seems to pulse ... drawing your eyes to it almost as if it was a compulsion, before it pulses a second time ... and you find yourself drawn into it. A moment later there's a sensation of passing through world after world, traveling across meadows, through forests, across cities, between the stars, across a section of the cosmos itself before you find yourself standing in the crystal gardens.

If you take a moment and reflect on what you just expirienced, there are actual memories of traveling through each of the worlds, you can remember names, faces, and races of the people that you've met, the foods you eaten, even friends that you've managed to make along the way but... ...It's almost like a dream, and almost real at the same time...

Meanwhile under one of the trees, sits Iianor, a large blanket spread out in front of him, with a giant spread of food.

Really if there's another way to greet a Saiyan...

He stands as you emerge, before gesturing at the spread of food, "Welcome."
Fassad      The entire experience of entering the painting is much more than Fassad is used to. He is accustomed to magic. But this? This is bigger than any magic he has ever seen. Yes, there are tales of great wizards who are capable of creating portals, or making rooms that are bigger on the inside. But, the process of experiencing entire worlds, lands, and travels that have never happened? That is completely bizarre and baffling to him.

And so, as he walks forward, he just stands. Looking at Iianor. He has a million questions he wants to ask. And yet he finds himself simply to baffled to even put forth a single one. And so, he does the only thing he can think to do: Sit down on the blanket, and look around for a bit. Wordlessly. His jaw wide open.

This is probably the least princely he has looked in a /long/ time.
Cory     Feeling weightless and thrown the cosmos after expecting to just see a normal art studio is enough to get Cory screaming like a little girl instead of the Saiyan warrior she's supposed to be. But she's not when she finally ends up at the end of that strange travel.

Indeed, when she does appear... she's quite calm, if utterly bewildered and rubbing the side of her head. Cory's dressed in her typical Turtle School Gi, and undoubtedly still covered in weighted accessories underneath.

"Wh-...a.t..." After croaking out those words dryly she shakes her head a second time, notices Fassad... notices Iianor... then the FEAST.

    "It's CHOW!"

Iianor made that call perfectly. Cory begins to dash but THEN remembers manners and screeches to a halt, ending up standing next to the seated Fassad, eyes on IIanor. "Thanks for the invitation!" It's all she can do to rush that out... because her eyes are going WIIIIILD and every which way.
Iianor     Iianor gives a soft smile to both of his guests, and a slight bow to Fassad before he sits down crosslegged on the edge of the blanket. "I apologize." His voice is soft, "She gave you a bit more of tour then she does our usual guests. I fear my warning wasn't ... quite up to the reality of things."

He glances between the two again, before he reaches over and pours a cup of tea for Fassad, offering it to him, to cover for his speechlessness. "Please, Cory. Indulge yourself. I am quite aware that a tired Saiyan is a hungry Saiyan." His lips twich slightly, "If you decide you want more, I can easily conjure it."

After Fassad takes his cup of tea Iianor pours himself a cup and sips at it quietly.
Fassad      Fassad takes his tea, and takes a sip. He's forgetting his manners at the moment. He's just so overwhelmed. He's actually trembling a bit. But, as he drinks a bit more of his tea, he calms down. A few deep breaths help matters. And, finally, he speaks.

"...Ah. Forgive my rudeness. Though I know who you are by reputation, I do not believe we have met in person. I am Prince Fassad, of Arcadia. And I apologize again. I was simply overwhelmed. Never in my life have I even imagiined magic such as that being possible."

He gives a bit of a late bow, trying to be as polite as he can. He looks at Cory, and gives her a little bow too.

The comments about her appetite cause him to raise an eyebrow. He has a feeling he'll be taken aback by the Saiyan appetite soon. He's heard rumors, but... He's hoping the reality is different.
Cory     Whatever experience Cory's been through getting here is quickly forgotten upon the promise of food. "Oooooh, no way!" Yes indeed, Fassad's in for a true show of gluttony. Cory seats herself for the feast and basically just starts grabbing plates of EVERYTHING. Meats, rice dishes, noodles, sandwhiches, whatever.

NOMPH! She scarfs down dishes at lightning speed and already has three plates down before pausing to take a breath and eat. "Aaaah... that's a bit better already!" Another two are plowed through before she continues. "Mmmph... haven't met here either, no. Chikorri! And hey, handsome!" That last is iven with an impish grin at Fassad.

After gulping down a few more plates and stacking them precariously... "You wanted to know about Toki Toki?"
Iianor     Iianor smiles to Fassad as he speaks, "I have heard of you as well Fassad, It is my pleasure to meet you in person." He sips his tea, "You have no reason to apologize. Not many know what I am doing here, or the scope of what's been accomplished already." He smiles softly, "That you both were shown as much as you were means that this realm trusts you. So shall I." He sips his tea, "If you require anything in particular prince, please let me know."

His eyes shift back to Chikorri, and his lips twich slightly as he sees her inhaling vast quantities of food. Just as planned. Wait. No that sounds sinister. Just as expected. Yes. Benevolent archmage. He sips his tea again, "A pleasure, Chikorri. My name, as he stated," He nods to Fassad, "Is Iianor. I am one of the Union's archmagi. When you're at a ... slowing point ... I would like to hear more about Toki-Toki."
Fassad      Fassad nods, smiling politely. His normal charm is still off a bit as he speaks to Iianor, but he's slowly recovering. "I thank you for your offer. Shall I ever need your aid, I shall seek it. Though, I hope it is not required. I mean no offense by this. Simply, if more aid is needed, it means things have gone poorly, usually."

Fassad stares at Chikorri like he is looking at a train wreck, though. He is, in fact, a bit baffled. He has never seen /anyone/ eat like this. While he understands not everyone in the Multiverse use the same table manners, this is a bit much, ven for him. But, as she calls him handsome, he in fact smiles at that. It is actually /really/ rare that people comment on his looks. It's much appreciated

He leans forward though, in anticipation. He's as curious about Toki-Toki as Iianor is. Or at least, he imagines their interest is a similar level. He has heard minimal on the situation, but. It sounds like an opportunity, for Adventure.
Cory     The plate count reaches around forty before Cory does the expected slowdown. By now the stacks are looking like a small city-scape.

Whether this is just coincidence or some quirk of Cory's habits is hard to say.

Also it's probably kinda creepy how she's clearly eaten more than her own body mass past a point and isn't looking ENGORGED or anything. What the HECK!

"Phew... that's a good start..." START?

Yes, she's already arranging plates for 'seconds,' by the look of it. And licking her lips.

Very easy person to please, this girl, that's for sure!

"So uh... Toki Toki City's the main base of the Time Patrol run by the Supreme Kai of Time. Kind of like a Goddess of Time... overseer... whatever word you wanna use. Big place up in the same dimension as the Afterlife. The Time Nest there keeps the past, present, and future all sorted out, and the Time Patrol's a defense force that's supposed to make sure nobody futzes with history. Thing is though..."

Her simple explanation takes a very swift depressy tone, along with sagging shoulders. "From the looks of it, they kinda failed."

    Tail-twitch.
Iianor     Iianor nods to Fassad, "A wise answer, but I also meant the statement as a host." He glances at the spread, and then over to Cory, before his lips twich again, and he gestures slowly, almost languidly, before the cityscape of plates surrounding Cory vanish, and other plates filled with different food appear on the blanket. Then as Cory continues he sips at his tea. "Omnious." He's silent for a long moment before he continues, "I'm ... surprised that someone would go that far." He gestures with his left hand for emphasis, "Given the dangers of erasing your own existence, or changing some distant ancestor and ending up a frog or something..."

He shakes his head. "I think the state of your reality is a bit of an object lesson on what could go wrong. However, are you certain it was an attempt at manipulating time that caused that disaster? Entire dimensions don't usually do that, unless they were all severely unstable in the first place."
Fassad      A good /start/? Fassad is puzzled at Cory's words. Really? That's just a start? ...But, alas, different species, different biology. He really doesn't quite understand it. He's trying /not/ to be too judgemental, but... He is /so used/ to at least /partyway/ decent manners.

But, as the story starts up, he listens in. Time is... Messing up? He isn't sure how such could happen. Altering history... Who would do that?

And immediately he is thinking of changing his own history so he is in fact a prince.

He moves on though. Especially away from the faux paus of not understanding that Iianor was only offering as far as a host. Still, he's baffled by everything that is going on. Perhaps this is a bit above his league?

But he considers, looking at the blanket they are all sitting on. He rubs his chin "...Who /did/ change the past, though? Is that known? Did they have /any/ purpose for it? And... do you have any means of fixing it?"

He is so hoping that fixing it could involve his sword play. Odds are it could, if they're hiring warrior races to protect time.
Cory     "W-whoah?!" Cory nearly jumps at the magical display. But she doesn't-- and settles down quickly enough. Back to joyous she continues downing plate after plate of food at reckless, perhaps nauseating speed, but sets down the now-twelfth plate with a satisfied sigh.

    Probably still not done though.

Aaaand.. she shakes her head, raising both arms for a full shrug. "That's the thing. No-one knows. We're all too busy trying to put things back together... ah, lemme explain. Something... broke. I've heard the words 'time crash' come up, whatever that means. Things got... weird. Don't remember much." After a dreadful hiss she hugs herself a bit. "nasty, cold darkness, then boom. Was in Toki Toki City, via Dragonball express or something. Anyways... Toki Toki City's in the middle of some black void full of what look like crystals. All jumbled together. Those are what's LEFT of the Idunnohowmany worlds... broke up."

There she goes with the sagging shoulders again. "Supreme Kai of Time says we should be able to mash them together, smoothe over differences, and recreate SOME of the timelines, or at least SOMETHING... because without something that would lead to Toki Toki and everyone in it happening we don't have a future. She's holding it all together somehow."
Iianor     Iianor blinks and then closes his glowing green eyes for a few moments, "So something erased the existence of a large portion of timelines, and you're trying to sift through the ruins to find the ones that lead to your," He raises an eyebrow, "Refuge existing?" He takes a sip of his tea and considers for a few moments longer, "Are they fragments of timelines, of realities, or are they entire possibilities that have to be guided?"
He glances at Fassad and considers for a moment, before he turns back to Cory, "What ... Are your achievable goals at this point? How are you proceeding in the short term?"
Fassad      Fassad is only looking at Chikorri when she isn't eating. This is probably fairly obvious. At least, to Iianor. Chikorri is probably too busy eating to notice. After all, he remembers reading something about a person's range of vision narrowing while they are focused on food. This level of hunger probably means an even more limited field of vision.

But, when she talks? His eyes are locked on her. There are occasional glances at Iianor, and as he speaks, he focuses on her. But, she is the one who knows what's going on. And, he would ask questions himsefl again, but Iianor brings up his current concerns. So, he remains quiet and contemplative.
Cory     OMNOMNOMPH! While the others talk Cory's still attacking the plates with full fervor. Slowing down earlier was apparently just to catch her breath! Again the plates are stacking up! ... although a little slower than earlier. She is indeed slowing down a bit more genuinely now...

"Uhhh... fragments of timelines and realities sounds about right. Think I heard someone mention the last too. Yeah, the current idea is to create a new world out of the pieces, something that would... hold everything together so the Supreme Kai of Time doesn't have to. For now that's been meaning lots of complicated talk between the brainy types and people like me getting sent into the different shards to alter events so the pieces can fit together. I heard right now there's a big debate going on too about how to deal with this nasty wizard called Bibidi. They're stuck on what course to take, but once they decide it'll be mission time."
Iianor     Iianor nods slowly, then takes another sip of his tea. "I see... It would be... About gathering the people from each fragment, and pieces of the landmass and resources then?" He shakes his head and then chuckles, "Well. I suppose I don't quite see. I suspect that's going to be the case until we get out there and look in person."

He shrugs, "How are you doing on resources, like food, and building materials?" He smiles slightly, "I suspect you'll find it easy to gather the manpower you need to deal with each timeline, but the long term support for your efforts... Might become harder."
Fassad      Fassad pauses. As he listens, he has a bit of a moment of realization. There is something about this scenario that sounds familiar to him. Something he is /very/ used to. A way he can conceptualize it where he understands it.

"...So. It's as if all of time were a story. You are left with small pieces of the greater picture, but from one piece to another, you must find a way to make them connect. With this Wizard you mention... I imagine that he is a villain from your description. But, like in all stories, villains exist. Without, the story falls apart. The parts do not connect."

He looks at Chikorri. "...I'd like to offer my help in reconstructing the story, though if at /all/ possible, I would like in on these meetings. ...Other Elites might be useful as well. But. Crafting the story of your world /just/ right would be challenging, and need many minds."
Cory     "Yeah... that's the problem. People who've been used to just 'making sure nothing changes' now... don't have a 'right' to maintain anymore." Cory points out simply in-between MORE BOWLS!

    Will she ever stop eating?

"Trouble with this one is, if Bibidi unleashes a creature named Buu, it'll kill a lot of the Supreme Kais and leave them understaffed for 75 million years, leading to lots of chaos. But if Buu doesn't exist how do the Majins helping us come about? Nobody wants to start TWO timelines this early, but we might do that."

She ends up nodding, then giving Fassad a thumbs-up. "Hence why I'm here with the Union. Backscratching setup. Any help's great, but the Supreme Kai of Time's the one with the plan!"

Finally she answers Iianor... but only after MORE FOOD.

She's easily eaten several times her own body weight by now and finally seems to be near the end.

"Had to use the Dragonballs for those. Pulling things in from shards. Got a warp gate going but not much to offer for trading... I'm not the sort to keep track of so many details..."
Iianor     Iianor sighs softly, "I thought as much... In this case however, running with Fassad's metaphor," He nods to the Prince, "I would suggest that you subvert the story. Neither A nor B have to occur like they did originally. If he is 'evil' then I would suggest showing him exactly what his future is going to be if he doesn't play ball." He smiles slightly and sips at his tea, "Which is to say nonexistence as his dimension crashes apart. Appeal to his self interest. Show him, or whatever this Majin creature is, why the should work with you."

His lips quirk again, before he gestures at the blanket again, once more refreshing the spread of food. "In the meantime. We will supply you with a certain amount of perishable goods, and supply materials. I would suggest that you construct some sort of arable land just as soon as possible. Singular supply lines tend to be fragile ones, and I do not keep track of time well."
Fassad      Fassad just considers. Hrm. That's a tough decision. Death of the people in charge, or loss of a race. He ponders.

"...There might be a way to let that being appear, and then prevent the deaths. That would be ideal. But. You might need to look into earlier parts of the history. The things leading up to that event. Like, for example, if you add a bit earlier in the story where there is some flaw in the creature, that might lead to the othes of its race coming..."

He shakes his head a bit, "Ah. Thinking too much on this without enough details. I'll have to go to one of these meetings. But. I'll offer you my full support in this matter."

He looks at Cory, smiling, as he says that. And then he turns to Iianor.

"And, I'd be willing to help supply the needed goods for survival, as well."
Cory     "Uuuuuu..." Cory blinks a few times... then pulls out a little notepad and scribbles things on it. Quickly tucks it away too. "Aaaaalright. That'll keep things going until we've got some solid ground tostand on! Uh... not literally. We've got... some."
