Scene #2324: Battle Rondo 2015

Aurora	It's a wonderful day for round two of the Busou Shinki Battle Rondo. The first round was an exciting one and this round would prove no different. The screens light up showing the next two competetors, the LirBiete known as Lizbet and the Tempesta known as Aurora. Both exciting fighters from the first round. What would it have in store for them today? Who knows as both ends of the table open up to let the Shinki walk out and ready themselves up. Aurora gives a smile and a wave as she walks out of her area, the glow of the slipway equipping the girl with her standard armaments, holding the sword with one hand. "Hi everyone! I'll do my best for you again!" she cheers out, soaking up the fans of the purple blur.
Guest Lizbet	Lizbet approaches from the opposite end of the arena, stepping up 'into' her armour as it forms - as she has an MMS 3rd Small body, her armour is about a centimeter taller than she is. Putting her at roughly the same height as MMS 1st and MMS 3rd-bodied Shinkis. Her own sword appears in her right hand, as her Twin autocannons materialise on the hardpoints on the bottom of her wings. She raises her left arm in a fist for the crowd, acting cool as always.
Aurora	Aurora turns to face Lizbet, watching her with a curiosity like her other opponent. A LirBiete... "I wish you luck, Lizbet! You're going to be a strong fight, I can't wait." as she bounces up and down in place, pointing the sword towards her. "It'll be fun to fight a Type VicViper, I haven't seen your types in forever!" so Aurora is slightly gushing at facing down a rare type, go fig. Meanwhile, the arena starts to glow, readying up the arena for the two Shinki to fight in, a toroidal shape coalescing into view around the two girls.
Guest Lizbet	Lizbet looks over towards Aurora and frowns a little bit. "MMS Type Angel Arnval Mark Two Tempesta. High top speed. Maueuverable. Combination of ranged and melee weaponry. No known weaknesses." She then grins a little bit. "...This will be fun." As the arena coalesces around them, Lizbet hovers up into the air. She grips her sword with both hands, waiting for the countdown...
Aurora	The countdown was given, Aurora's eyes close. "You're right. No known weaknesses. Now enough analyzing and..." the words RIDE ON flare up in green as the toroidal shape makes its way in and Aurora's jetpack fires up, launching the Tempesta to the right! A purple blur echoing around the area as a small shimmer brings up her second sword, a smaller one in the right hand. It's true the LirBiete doesn't have many, if any, weaknesses too, but this isn't going to stop Aurora. She's doing this for her Master and she's not going to let a red armored rare model bring her down. Appearing from around the curve, Aurora lunges herself towards Lizbet, moving to bring both swords from each side in a scissor like way, already looking to make a cut in.
Guest Lizbet	Lizbet brings her sword up into a perfect guard stance - despite neither of her feet being on the ground. She swings it to the side to deflect one of Aurora's swords, but she misses the other one due to not actually expecting two blades! The sword cuts into her armour, while Lizbet tries to respond with... a headbutt. And then a rising slash once she's managed to get a bit of distance. Her sword is longer than Aurora's, so she needs slightly more space to fight! "Earth-To-Heaven Slash!"
Aurora	The headbutt connects with Aurora's own, a stunning blow that leaves her slightly confused and open while the longer sword is readied by her opponent. "Wh... what was..." Aurora shakes her head slightly, clearing out the confusion only to be met head on with that larger sword from bottom to top! Unable to get away, the sword connects, leaving a gash upon the purple armor the Tempesta wears. The slipway opens up once more, six little drones appearing around the Shinki now and start encircling her, the red tips aiming towards Lizbet as she backs off, "Fire!" she shouts, the red tips glow and fire laser bursts in a circular pattern towards Lizbet as Aurora rushes back in, looking to make another scissors cut upon the red blur!
Guest Lizbet	"Options!" Lizbet calls out - her own drones, four slightly-larger red-and-grey ovoid 'saucers', appearing around her in a square. "RIPPLE!" she calls out, the four drones releasing 'rippling' circular lasers to intercept the laser fire from the drones, as Lizbet charges in. She discards her sword, pulling out a pair of green beam-kukris to block Aurora's scissor strike, although she gets nicked by the lasers as she darts in. She then uses her momentum to sweep her leg upward to kick somewhere that... would seriously hurt if Aurora was organic. Lizbet tries to keep close, now, her drones hanging back to give covering fire.
Aurora	The explosions that result from ring lasers and her own lasers give good cover for Lizbet, tthough forward momemntum being stopped as the scissor attack gets parried by those beam blades, Aurora frowns a bit then lets out a groan as the kick connects, pushing the LirBiete out of the way and with a shimmer, swapping the blades out for her high powered rifle. Looking at the area around her... a perfect circle.... an idea given. The laser drones stop firing, only to face outward and fire once more, creating a laser wall as they start spinning clockwise around Aurora. "You're not going past this point." she states, floating backwards to leave a hole where she once was, letting off a few high powered blasts of laser fire go right through the hole before the drones return to floating around Aurora.
Guest Lizbet	Lizbet can't help but yelp a bit as she's suddenly pelted by laser fire, ducking and weaving but still taking several solid hits - and one of her drones is hit as well, causing it to 'limp' in the air. When Aurora gives that ultimatum, though, she shrugs her shoulders. "...Kay." She points. "FLYING TORPEDO!" she calls out, before promptly zipping off away from Aurora, aiming to fly through the tunnel and meet Aurora again from the other direction! Although she actually detaches from her armour once she's around halfway there, and her armour continues to fly along in robot mode while she pulls out her own rifle. Aurora... may not notice, for a moment, that the shinkioid shape that comes flying around toward her shooting plasma pellets isn't Lizbet! Maybe.
Aurora	There was one thing she didn't expect, she starts to chase Lizbet, making potshots around that flying armor but once Lizbet turns around... or is that Lizbet? The attack calls and torpedos start firing off towards her, bracing herself as they connect with loud explosions and smoke filling up the once 'calm' area arround the Shinki. Then ... the plasma pellets impact and the sound of those lasers dissipates. Could it be that it was over already? Aurora's armor chips off, sputtering sounds could be heard as the jetpack kicks back into gear and Aurora's face looks to be scarred up from the impacts. The drones, a few less in number now pick up their spinning pace and point forwards while Aurora stares down the flying armor, training the barrel of that high powered rifle at it. Angling around, the lasers fire from those drones, reflecting off of the walls and bouncing around, forming a tight ring of laser fire that needs to be dodged while Aurora takes heavy potshots at the Armor, aiming at those guns to get rid of some of the pressure!
Guest Lizbet	Two of Lizbet's drones are taken out by the bouncing lasers. Her robo-armour takes quite a pounding, as well, but moves in close anyway, firing pellets from its hand-cannons. ... Which are seriously cannons that are also its hands. It tries to get as close to Aurora as possible, aiming to punch at her if it can! Lizbet, meanwhile, is running along the curved floor towards the fight, hoping Aurora is too focused on her armour to see her coming.
Aurora	Aurora's face contorts into a serious face, the lasers calming down before dissapearing along with the rifle. The larger sword is brought back up but by the time they come into view, the armor is up in her face and so is a fist. Unable to dodge, she brings up her sword in a defensive stance, only to take the brunt of it and get sent flying back into the wall, crashing into it hard and bouncing around into a few others. Aurora shakes her head, groaning but something felt slightly off, nothing seemed to be in it. Perhaps she can abuse this to her benefit. She kicks up off the ground and sends herself flying towards the armor, picking up speed until she's just a blur and charges right into it, trying to skewer it upon her blade, only to shoot right past it regardless of a hit or a miss!
Guest Lizbet	The armour is skewered right through! Luckily not doing serious damage to its flight pack, but certainly ruining the torso piece... Lizbet's not gonna have much chest protection once she puts the armour on, that's for sure. As Aurora comes flying around, Lizbet grins a bit, watching Aurora's movements carefully on the holographic screen n front of her eyes - watching the feed directly from her armour's cameras. As Aurora comes flying around, Lizbet gets down on one knee and aims her rifle up. "RIPPLE!" she calls out, firing a stream of those circular rippling lasers! Her armour, meanwhile, chases after Aurora.
Aurora	Aurora's sword finds purchase but the fact it didn't do much to the armor, something just feels wrong about it. Either way, she'll ignore the armor for now and try a different approach. She speeds off into the toroid, but proximity sensors start blaring... "What... there's only Lizbet here! And she was in the armor!" she shakes her head, "Maybe I need t..." the the word Ripple is shouted and the stream of lasers crash right into her and ram her into the wall, her chestpeice and legs severely damaged from all the bouncing around. Aurora shakes her head from lying down in the gutter of the toroid... groaning at the feel of running into that trap. "So she can seperate herself from the armor..." she shakes her head once more and pulls out the smaller sword, the Shinki's grounded so she may have an easier time to land this... With a quick rush, Aurora starts sprinting along the ground, then gets a boost from her jet pack and launches herself at the grounded Shinki, spinning herself into a top as she brings the swords to bare against her.
Guest Lizbet	Lizbet is really a sitting duck without her armour on. She tosses her rifle to the side and pulls her beam-kukris from the Slipway, trying to bring them up to parry Aurora's attack - but, while she prevents a 'fatal' hit to her chest, the attack still manages to Jesus Christ it just TOOK OF HER LEFT ARM. Lizbet stares ni shock. She knows the injury isn't real - it's just holographic! But the sensory data being given her by the visualiser still makes it seem as though her arm is just... Gone. She brings up her remaining arm to stab at Aurora, while her armour comes in from behind, shooting two dumb-fire rockets at Aurora's back and aiming to fly right past her and recombine with Lizbet.
Aurora	Aurora blinks, the sword top actually hits and takes off an arm? Aurora skids to a stop and stares at Lizbet some, "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" she panics and looks around for the arm only to get stabbed by that remaining arm, and, while immobilized from the shock of a sudden stabbing, those two dumb-fire rockets smash right into the girl's back, making a large crack in the flightpack, the jets emitting black smoke, disabled. "I... take that back..." she groans, tugging the arm off of her and the kukri out of her... "I was going to help you find it to reattach but this..." she frowns, "I'm the Angel for a Vampire... Aurora. And you, are now jjust a step in my path to victory here." she rips the flight back off of her back and stabs it with her smaller sword before launching it towards Lizbet and the combined armor, and shortly after it gets there, Aurora ducks and covers, the pack exploding like a makeshift bomb!
Guest Lizbet	"...Are you -seriously- getting angry at me for attacking you? In a tournament battle? Where our injuries -aren't even real-?" Lizbet asks Aurora incredulously, staring at her. Which... is really all the opening Aurora needs to set Lizbet up the bomb. Er, flight pack. Explosion! And Lizbet's down for the count.
