Sarracenia      The Caverns of Prophecy.

An area often fought over for the properties of the pool within the mountain. It is here that the princess from the Sundew Kingdom often comes to try and determine the identity of her hero. She is there now, looking into the waters. She always sees a form in the waters, but the face of her mystery hero never comes to light.

Still, she will never stop trying. So, as she sits by the pool, fingers trailing in the water, her plant minions stand guard. The soldiers are pirahna plants, creatures with large red bulbs for a head, a mouth full of sharp teeth, leaves for arms, and roots for legs/feet. Above the mountain a large airship is floating. It looks like a large wooden sailing ship, the kind used when explorers roamed the earth from Europe. Except, in place of sails, it has large propellers on its masts.
Reina Kinney     Out of sight (hopefully) of the airship is a small craft, which seems to be idling in orbit around the general area. If one were to look onboard for the pilot, they'd find there's no one there. And all the defenses are on maximum, meaning there's no way one is going to break in easily. The pilot is none other than Reina Kinney herself, and she's not here for checking on reflections in water. She's here in an attempt to take back the Caverns of Prophecy on behalf of the Union.

Her boots are made for walking, but the slight heel on them means it might be easy to make a noise and give herself away. Hence the reasons her steps are slow and deliberate. As she approaches the area where Sarracenia is, Reina stops and stares in disbelief, before taking out her binoculars and attempting to zoom in. "What in Gurhal's name is that?" Reina mutters to herself. "That's definitely not anything SEED related, but I don't like it either..." She puts her binoculars away and steps back slightly.
Sarracenia      As Reina watches, the airship and the soldiers on the ground don't seem to spot her. The plant people just continue holding their spears and looking around, shivering a bit from how cold the mountain is. The ship continues to hover, the many cannons on the sides trained on nothing.

The princess who had been inside at the pool emerges about this time. She looks annoyed, and her pouting looks actually kind of cute with her heavy winter gear on. Of course, that might be countered by the huge hammer she is holding, resting over her shoulder. "Let us return to the ship for now. I will try again in a bit." the princess says to her soldiers, who happily agree. As they signal for the rope ladder to be lowered, the princess watches the snow flurrying about and surveys the mountain.
Reina Kinney     At first, Reina stands ready, thinking that they're going to spot her at a moment's notice. But then they just seem to ignore her and prepare to head out. And that's when Reina's mental voice kicks in. "Hey, dummy! This is Confederate territory! Strike now or you're gonna regret it in more ways than one!" Apparently, one way is more than enough to motivate this red-haired huntress. She rushes from her spot, towards where Sarracenia is.

"Going somewhere?" Reina asks as she gets closer. "I do hope you're not planning on just leaving this completely unattended. Because there are others who would just LOVE to have this place." The sarcasm is heavily visible in Reina's words. But then the sarcasm stops and Reina becomes fierce. "Namely my faction, and when two rival factions encounter each other, they tend to fight! So unless you're planning on giving this up peacefully, prepare to FIGHT!"
Sarracenia      Princess Sarracenia blinks in surprise as Reina appears. "Of course not!" she says indignantly. "I was merely going to warm up in my ship, then return to the pool to concentrate some more!" She brings her hammer back down into her mitten-covered hands. "I will not let you simply take this pool! It is my best chance of finding my hero and living happily ever after!"

The guards are already on the rope ladder, and their princess seems more than willing to fight for them, so they let her. "I am Princess Sarracenia Sundew, crowned princess of the Sundew Kingdom! Leave now, or face my explosive wrath!" She gives her hair a flip, then smirks.
Reina Kinney     The princess arrogantly smirks and flips her hair, while Reina can only fold her arms, shake her head for a moment, and then make a 'hmmph' sound of disapproval. "I'm more than willing to take you and whatever you have on. I am Reina Kinney, Ensign of the Union and a senior operative of GUARDIANS. I have taken on more than the average person could in one lifetime, and that's just a portion of it all." She cracks her knuckles as she speaks. "To me, fear is just another word that I have learned to disown. If you think you're scaring me, think again!"

Reina snaps her fingers, and in her right hand her sword forms, the blade made of some kind of energy. "You can try to take me on if you want, but I will not let you defeat me that easily!" She points the sword at Sarracenia, a scowl on her face deeper than before, and no hint of a smile either. "Have at you!"
Sarracenia      Princess Sarracenia hmphs as the sword is pointed at her. "How impudent. Raising a weapon against a beautiful princess like me." she says. She sets her hammer down, head first, and it creates a light dimple in the ground along with a metallic clang. "Well, let us see what you think about this!"

The princess reaches into her purse and pulls out...a handful of what look like those poppers. The ones that are thrown at the ground and make an explosive popping sound. Except...several times bigger. The princess grins almost sadistically as she throws them. "Catch!"

When the impact, they explode with only minor force. It is enough to cause harm, but only small amounts.
Reina Kinney     Small amounts of damage perhaps, but for Reina's shield, they're mostly trivial. She only reels back because of anticipation of the impact, briefly forgetting her shields will work for a short period of time. "A beautiful princess like you? I'm sorry, but I cannot respect those who oppose me." She shakes her head as the brief ringing in her ears stops. "Especially when they do damage to my ears like that. I haven't had that bad of ringing since... oh, forget it!"

Reina then scowls at Sarracenia once again. "If you wanna play with fireworks, you better be careful, because you can get burned quite badly!" She points at Sarracenia and calls out, "FOIE!" A small blast of flame shoots from the ground and slides directly at the evil princess.
Sarracenia      The princess lets out a surprised shriek as the flames impact her, burning at her. She quickly flops into some snow, but she still has many scorchmarks and a few burns on her clothes and skin. When she stands again, she growls angrily. "Do you know how expensive these winter dresses are?!" she yells before she reaches into her purse again and pulls out a little black bob-omb. She spins the key quickly, then throws it at Reina.

It flashes as it flies through the air, and when it hits her or the ground near her, it explodes violently.
Reina Kinney     KABOOM!!

That's the sound that's heard when the bob-omb explodes, and unfortunately, it exploded the moment it touched her. For some reason her shields didn't come up in time, and the explosion occurred, knocking her backwards into a nearby wall. This causes Reina to collapse to the ground, then onto her face like she's been knocked out... albeit only for a moment. Because she quickly pushes herself off and shakes her head, licking her fingers and putting out a tiny flicker on her shoulder. "You were lucky to catch me off-guard that time," Reina comments.

"And you're worried about your dress? You're worried about your Falzing dress?!" Reina adds, using one of her Gurhalian curse words for good effect. "Come on, I'm trying to take your butt out here so I can reclaim this place for my own, and you only care about your dress?" She shakes her head again. "I think you need to wake up to reality!" She swings her energy sword at Sarracenia to emphasize this point.
Sarracenia      Sarracenia laughs haughtily as that explosion sends Reina flying into a wall. "Take that, you ruffian!" she exclaims!

Then, she is criticized about her concern for her clothing. "I may be a princess, but money does not grow on trees! And it is a very nice winter dress!" she shouts, before letting out another shriek as she is sliced by that energy sword. It cuts into one of her arms, drawing a bit of her blood.

The princess stumbles back, then looks at her arm, her teeth clenching in pain. "Y-you..you cut me! You actually cut me!!" The princess lets out an angry scream and hefts her hammer. "No one in my world ever cut me!!"

She winds up, then swings her hammer with the best baseball swing she can muster. If it hits, Reina would feel just how heavy the hammer is, despite the princess wielding it so easily. It feels like it weighs a ton!
Reina Kinney     That thing DOES weigh a ton. Or something like that. Reina gets smashed by the hammer and finds herself seeing stars. Not as many as when she's in her room looking at the simulated galaxy window, but enough to know that she's been dazed quite a bit. "Can someone spot me a few meseta for a drink?" She babbles, staggering around a little, before she shakes her head and the stars vanish.

"There's a first time for everything!" Reina snaps, rushing in and attempting to not cut Sarracenia again, but instead use her boot to deliver a swift kick to the princess's stomach!
Sarracenia      The princess can only manage a pained squeak as the wind is firmly knocked out of her by a powerful kick to the belly. She doubles over, then stumbles to her knees. It takes her a few moments to get her breath back, and when she does, she rises back to her feet. She looks REALLY angry now! But, at least she doesn't scream about Reina being unladylike.

Instead, she leaps into the air, higher than most normal people can leap.

Then, she brings her hammer down as she falls, using the extra momentum to put more power behind her blow. "Why do you want this cavern?! I am trying to find my hero and one true love! What do you need it for?! Determining how you might improve your dreadful nature?!"

When she hits the ground, whether her hammer hits Reina or the ground, the hammer would create a shockwave and a small crater.
Reina Kinney     There's a crater near where Reina was standing, and shockwaves hit hard. She goes flying across the area, again hitting a nearby wall. She would collapse, but when the pain gets going, so does her adrenaline. And Reina's really starting to lose her patience with this girl. "You're looking for a hero? You're on the wrong team, girl! And you think I'M dreadful? Oh please." She decides to get rid of her sword, snapping her fingers and going bare handed again for the time being.

But she doesn't try to punch or kick. Instead she points her fingers at Sarracenia and yells, "BARTA!" This time a freezing blast slides across the ground aimed at the evil princess!
Sarracenia      Sarracenia isn't evil! She's crazy! There is a big difference! "Nonsense! Being in the Confederacy means that I will meet all the heroes when they try to stop the Confederacy's evil plans!" she responds.

Just before being frozen. One would think that winter clothes would help against that, but apparently not. Sarracenia cries out as the freezing blast impacts her, forming jagged ice crystals on her in a matter of moments. She shivers heavily as she staggers toward Reina. "...w-wh-what...do you want...this cavern for..." she chatters as she reaches in her purse again, and pulls out...a full bundle of TNT! Like the bob-omb, it is thrown, and it flashes as it flies. And like the bob-omb, it explodes on impact. But, much larger than the bob-omb. "It is mine! Leave my cavern alone!!"
Reina Kinney     KABOOM!! (Again?)

The kaboom hits again and Reina goes flying into the air and then hits the ground hard, resulting in a thud and a grunt. "What we need it for... is of no concern of yours..." Reina weakly says as she gets up slowly, gritting her teeth through all the pain that surges through her body. She doesn't get into her usual fighting stance though, instead hunched over and gasping for air. "Son of a De Rol Le, I think I bruised a couple of ribs..." She grunts, owwing as she touches one of the ribs. "Gonna need that looked at..."

Staring at the girl who she just tried to cool off, Reina attempts to go in and deliver a CQC style takedown. "You Confederates are all the same. So full of yourselves!"
Sarracenia      Sarracenia is hit and pretty easily taken down. She grunts as she hits the ground hard, rattling her marbles and again knocking the breath out of her. As she struggles to breathe, she flails at Reina. "G-get off of me!" she says breathlessly. "You Unionions are the ones who are full of yourselves! 'Our way is the only way to do things!!' Pff! You do not even know why you are fighting! You just know they want this mountain! Just go back to your mud-digging or whatever it is unladylike tomboys like you do!"

Sarracenia gathers her legs beneath Reina, then kicks up. Once Reina is flying off of her, Sarracenia leaps after her, bringing her hammer down to try and smash Reina into the ground as soon as the red-headed pilot hits it!
Reina Kinney     The hammer hits Reina hard, and this time she goes down hard too! She finds her head is spinning a bit, and finds it hard to figure out where everything is. She staggers around, feeling for the pool of water in hopes of splashing herself with it. Even then, the splash doesn't do much good. She still sees stars and feels like she needs glasses. "Ungh... which track do I head to again?"

This time the babbling keeps up as Reina tries to steady her vision. She spots Sarracenia again, but it's hard to tell if it's really her or not, and her attempt to throw a left cross looks a bit drunken-like.
Sarracenia      Even with the drunken boxing style, Reina manages to land a blow. It is to her shoulder instead of her chin, but hey, it's something. Sarracenia, on the other hand, is only gasping for breath, so she goes into one of her favorite attacks.

She starts spinning, holding her hammer out like a counterweight. Soon, she is spinning like a top.

And like a top, she starts toward Reina, but bounces off of everything in her path, then bounces back toward Reina. If she catches the feisty red-head, Reina might think she is caught in some sort of grinder.
Reina Kinney     Feisty? That's a new word to describe Reina. She finds herself caught in the spinning attack, but it does little more than bring her back to reality... of both the battle and the pain she's in. "Holy Falz, I'm gonna need more than a Scape Doll when I'm done here!" She growls under her breath as she tries to step back, almost falling as one of her knees buckles underneath her. "Damn it!" She grumbles, rubbing the bad knee and wincing a little. "I've gotten myself in over my head..."

Disregarding that pain somehow, Reina stares at Sarracenia. "I think this battle has gone on long enough, don't you?" She holds out her hand and this time it starts to crackle with electricity. "ZONDE!" She calls out, sending forth an electrical blast of energy at Sarracenia. Quite a shocking revelation!
Sarracenia      The electricity is on target, but with her spinning and how dense her hammer is, it just bounces off the hammer as Sarracenia keeps spinning. "Just like a Unionion! As soon as the battle gets tough, you run away!" she says, her words accentuated by the force of her spinning.

"You will see this through to the end, now! You cannot assault a princess and simply walk away!" Sarracenia continues as she spins toward Reina, bouncing off of rocks and snowbanks like a crazy pinball. Is she spinning even faster? There promises to be a pummeling in Reina's future if the girl isn't careful!
Reina Kinney     There is a huge pummeling in Reina's future. A severe one. In the end, Reina's sent flying, yelling loudly, thudding, and then gasping as she tries to remain conscious. But it's obvious she's taken too much abuse. She taps something on her wrist, and begins to vanish. "You were... just lucky..." Before she fades, most likely back to her shuttle and unconscious.
